I insist
that Bulgarian folklore music
is the biggest treasure for Bulgaria.
My goals are
to prove that traditional music
has still its place in Bulgaria.
I love music I adore singing!
I'll be honest with you. Everybody loves music.
For Music Idol we need different type of singers.
I promise, if you choose me I'll prepare myself even better!
In Music Idol people come already prepared.
I've been practicing the whole summer!
Oh, poor boy!
I already have performed two times in my school!
Everybody loves me! Everybody expects from me now.
According to me you almost win!
I'll explain you why.
When your dream is to sing.
You will need a microphone.
I'll give you my first one.
Because you will need it.

- I was born in Yambol but I am living in village of Bezmer.
- Since two months I'm here in Sofia.
My story is as follows
I was adopted on the age of two months.
My real parents left me, so I don't know them.
I just have information about my mother's name
and about the name she first gave me.
But this is not so important now,
because since than I have a family that I love and which have never left me.
My family is living in Bezmer, it is far away- around 300 km, but when I have time
I go to visit them. Very soon I am planning to go again.
However my parents are living in conditions very different from this here in Sofia.
This has to be seen. And I will show it to you.
Here I am in the place where I grew up.
Where I have experienced both good and bad moments.
Going down on the streets of my village,
I realize how much I have missed it.
People I know, people I love and expect from them to understand me.
This street is full of memories to me.
And the view on the right sight might shock you.
The fence seems to fall at any time.
the door is barely standing, holding by two poles.
My grandfather has built this house around 50 years ago.
All my memories and worries are in here.
Number 15... and I know that I am at home.
The first thing you may notice is that there is no front door in the house.
Going inside I see only emptiness, nothing else.
Now I will show you my room.
This is it... three monts after some big changes has happened.
A lot of emptiness...
I hope at least that saint Mary is looking after us.
In this is the where room my grandfather has died.
My memories from here are still very clear.
I was telling to my mother to ask people to leave the room.
Here was my baby cradle
I thought that my grandfather is slipping.
For my mother that situation was very hard to explain.
Probably I won't be able to show you this room.
This is my parents' room.
You can easily see that the house needs renovation so badly.
This's not everything, I will show you more.
Going straight we will see something extraordinary.
Look what happens when I remove the reamer.

It's been many years since the last renovation
It needs a reparation as soon as possible.
I realize how hard this kind of life is for me and for my parents.
The most beautiful things here are this flowers
Maybe they are the only ray of light and hope reminding that there is still something beautiful here.
Generally this is the house.
And this is the environment around it.
A lot of stereotypes and prejudices are stuck in our village.
It is an unique place and always will be, because I feel good here.
But sometimes I feel like I have fallen in a deep sleep, waiting every moment to wake up,
just like the Sleeping Beauty.
I hope some day I will wake up from my 100 years sleep.
Most of the people prefer to live to complain about their life.
When I asked Stoyan to come in Sofia to sing, he was very happy and agreed immediately.
I gave him 30 levs from my fee, thanks to NPC and all the organizers.

And I also personally gave him 40 levs Stoyan to have extra money for meat.
By the way, big congratulations to Andrey Andonov - a bulgarian director from NatureMedia.
He's making a movie for Stoyan.
We Bulgarians pull down each other all the time and as Vlady Vargala said in one of his films
Bulgarians lived poorly, because they were like this and they are like this, because they live poorly.
And vice versa.
Stoyan tried to break into several reality Tv formats and surreality formats,
but the first hyper reality format is here today and I think he is doing very well.
A person is meant to be successful when the audience like him,
and not the jury of famous people.
When someone is part of a jury, his appreciation becomes different.
The value of liking is connected with his position in the society and his wealth.
You can choose to live your live hating yourself and others
or in contrary - to run away from the darkness...
Something amazing happened to me in 2008, something that changed my life.
I watched a movie, called 'The Secret', it is about the incredible power of human consciousness
They say that people have the possibility to change their lives and most of the time even
they don't realize it. After I saw the movie I decided to try to understand the secret.
We had at home only a black & white TV, so my goal was in two weeks to have a new proper one.
I didn't know how I was going to have it, just I wanted it very much.
And the miracle happened, when my grandfather called me and took me to the market to buy me a new TV.
And then I said to myself 'God it's working!'
Since then I realised that there are no limits for me.
At that time came my idea to sing on the streets and to live this way, making my own money.
I was very skeptic at the beginning, but I decide to try.
After the first performance last year, I felt that I like it, people liked it as well.
The truth is that after you understand The Secret, there is no limit for your ambitions.
Till this moment I have realised all my dreams because of my thoughts.
I am sure that I can manage in any situation, because I have a special gift from God.
I would like to add - young people stay in Bulgaria!
I will sing you a song by Binka Dobreva.
However I am very emotional person, I can be easily upset, especially when I see
another street singer or a beggar, who doesn't have talent.
I feel always sad
I respect what destiny has offered to me.
Music changes people, makes them richer, not material but spiritual.
It saves me, when I am upset or feeling down I listen to music .
It always helps. This is my advice to people. When you are not feeling well listen to
some favorite song and you will feel better.
I insist that Bulgarian folklore music is our biggest treasure.
While the other music genres are very fashionable.Folklore music is for everybody.
Its name is saying it, this is the music for the people.
I have nothing else to say about it...
The lyrics in folklore songs are very meaningful, real and with profound messages.
You can trace the whole of our great history in the folklore music.
I think that street performing is not an easy job
In my opinion I have a talent to be a street performer
I can say I am almost a professional street singer,
While I sing I very easily make a good connection with people - with my eyes, expressions.
I don't need to talk to them with words.
When you are street artist or a singer, you can see what actually people are nowadays.
Thanks to street singing I have the possibility to see and to get to know a lot of people
I realised the people from Sofia respect traditional folklore music and I am thankful for that.
And I am very happy as well
Before to come in Sofia, I was told that people from the capital prefer another styles.
But it is not true
Many of them have not listen folklore music
on the streets of Sofia.
Many of them have not listen folk music from very long time
and simply they have missed it.
Before to sing
I was singing from time to time and place to place.
But it was different.
I can say that I just was thinking what to do to survive
I have few songs which
I have placed in my mind and consciousness.
that at the moment when I start singing
there is no way at least one or two people to pass by me and not to give me money
I just know it
and if there is a moment when nobody gives me money
Because this has happened at some times as well
I am not dissapointed in opposite I sing even better and stronger
With the song Danyova Mama
Very rarely it happens
a street musician to move people with the song and to make them cry
To me this has happened at least 200 times
Woman or Man there is no difference.
mostly old people
When singing Danyova Mama many times, they cry
simply somehow i can share the meaning and feeling of the song
Because when i sing
I don't sing for fun
I sing cause i can feel it
Every song which i feel with my heart
If i don't feel it i won't be able to sing it properly
then is better not to sing it at all.
Many people on the streets have told me that i feel the music and the song
This is very important.
because there are many singers when they are on stage
they can't feel the song they just sing it because they must do it
for money and fees.
But I am singing because I know that I can share the feelings and emotions
And in reality it is like this.
You were the man who came and told me
that I am moving them from inside manipulating their feelings.
and yes this is what i am doing this is the IDEA.
I am trying to sneak into people's consciousness, minds, and hearts.
with the magic of folklore music.
Somehow i have this inner feeling
when there is a group of 20 or more people
I choose for example one of them
and something in my mind
actually in my subconscious tells me
that person will come even if he wouldn't give me money
most of the times it really happens
Very rarely it doesn't work
I am still curious how it works but here we talk about subconscious power
Here we face again the idea of The Secret.
and I am repeating myself that this film has to be seen.
to be understood.
Because everything which is on conscious level has nothing in common with the unconsciousness.
With the Unconscious you can do anything
- How can you reach to it?
By imagination and logic.
when you work with your subconsciouss mind
You can do some things which no one can do it.
When you work with the subconsciouss mind you can design very positive or negative
events, that's why when I sing I totally surrender to the music.
I don't think for anything else. That's why i succeed
Success for me is to be able to stay every day in front of thousands of people and to sing
To sing, to rap or whatever you do, requires enormous amount of strength and braveness
I think that when one can do this he or she is able to do many more
things which even the person himself is not aware that he can do.
for me what else I can do is still a secret
Once when i was on the street and while I was singing
Happened something extraordinary for me and for the people around me
A homeless woman who was looking for food in the carbage bins
at the moment when she heard me
She stopped searching in the rubbish and she came despite her desperate situation
She then gave me 10 cents. This woman gave me 10 cents!
An old woman who begs on the street and digs inside the rubbish bin gave me 10 cents!?
This can not be explained.
This story is still the most memorable and unique moment in my life.
