There is a girl.
Sometimes she is bold, and sometimes she is delicate.
She pretends not to, but she is a very jealous person.
She seems firm and decisive, but sometimes makes mistakes.
She worries about others, but her concerns of herself never reach her.
Do you know? I worried a lot.
Like stars falling down
Like a balsam flower slowly getting drenched
Like a comet that never will return
That is how you feel to me.
Even now, when I look at that girl, my existence becomes so small.
Sending you away
Keeping you in my heart
How distant and large each step are.
Even so, this time I plan to gather up my courage.
You know... Do you remember the first time we met?

The Talk - Ashley Graham Reacts to Being Fake Body Shammed on 'What Would You Do?' - Duration: 2:27.
ASHLEY: SO THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS AMAZING FOR ME
BECAUSE THIS DID HAPPEN TO ME IN REAL LIFE.
I HAD A BOYFRIEND BREAK UP WITH ME BECAUSE HE SAID THAT I WAS
GOING -- HE WAS AFRAID I WAS GOING TO BE AS BIG AS HIS MOM.
AND HIS MOM CHIMED IN AND AGREED.
SO FOR ME, THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS REAL.
THOSE TEARS WERE REAL.
I THINK THAT HERE THE BIGGER, THE BIGGER QUESTION IS ALSO HOW
ARE WE EDUCATING PARENTS IN TALKING TO THEIR CHILDREN AND
HOW WE'RE RAISING THEM ABOUT BODY VERSETY AND BODY SHAMING
AND NO PARENT IS GOING TO WANT TO TALK IT THEIR CHILD THE WAY
THOSE PARENTS TALKED TO ME OR THEIR SON.
THEY WERE ALL ACTORS, YOU GUYS, THEY WERE ACTORS.
FOR ME, THIS IS A QUESTION OF WHERE ARE THE PARENTS THAT ARE
TALKING LIKE THAT TO THEIR CHILDREN AND HOW CAN WE STOP
THAT AND HOW CAN WE EDUCATE THEM.
YOU'RE NOT GOING TO SAY TO YOUR DAUGHTER, YOU'RE PRETTY FOR A
BIG GIRL, THAT'S OK.
YOU'RE SMART, THOUGH, DON'T WORRY ABOUT THAT.
YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO GET A JOB BECAUSE THOSE HIPS ARE NEVER
GOING TO BE ABLE TO FIT INTO THE UNIFORM.
I THINK THIS WHOLE VIDEO CLIP HAS REALLY MADE A STATEMENT ON
WHAT ARE PARENTS SAYING TO THEIR KIDS AND THEN IT'S KIND OF, IT'S
A SPIRAL.
IT'S A SNOWBALL EFFECT TO KIDS AND HOW THEY'RE TREATING THEIR
PEERS.
AISHA: ABSOLUTELY, AND ALL OF THOSE CUES THEY GET FROM THEIR
PARENTS.
SOMETIMES THEY'RE NOT EVEN THAT OVERT.
EVEN IF YOU'RE A PARENT AND YOU'RE AROUND YOUR KIDS SAYING I
GOT TO STOP EATING, I'M GETTING SO FAT.
YOU DON'T WANT TO EAT TOO MUCH THERE, YOU MIGHT GAIN WEIGHT.
THOSE KIDS TAKE THOSE CUES AND BRING THEM TO THE PEER GROUP.
SARA: THE EXAMPLE YOU GAVE WAS SO TELLING BECAUSE IT WAS A SON
WHO DIDN'T WANT HIS FUTURE GIRLFRIEND, WIFE, WHATEVER, TO
END UP LIKE HIS MOTHER.
HIS MOTHER AGREED, SO IT WAS REALLY JUST A REFLECTION OF HER
SELF-LOATHING THAT SHE HAS BEEN INSTILLING IN HIM.
ASHLEY: SOMETHING MY MOTHER SAID, I NEVER LOOKED IN THE
MIRROR, I'M FAT, UGLY, I NEED TO BE ON A DIET.
I TOOK AT IT ON MYSELF TODAY.
I LOOK I AM DAMN FINE.
[CHEERS AND APPLAUSE] AISHA: YES, MA'AM!
YOU ARE!
WE SHOULD ALL GO HOME AND DO THAT, EVERYBODY AT HOME, LOOK IN
THE MIRROR TODAY.

Depression Part 1 - Do you really have it? (Self-Help) - Duration: 3:52.
Ninh explains, Depression Part 1: Do you really have it?
Ah depression, it's the 21st century's biggest problem at the moment.
But a lot of people confuse depression with anger.
A lot of people confuse depression with feeling down or being sad.
A lot of people confuse depression with just being hacked off with life.
Before I go into the video, I'd like to point out 3 things:
Whether you have depression or not, just know that there is an answer for it and that you're
not the only one thinking this way.
Whether you have depression or not, just know that there's no shame in admitting that
you have it.
One in two of us have some form of mental illness.
One in two.
That's half of us .. and it's more common than you think.
Whether you have depression or not, just know that it's going to be okay.
If you want to be free of this, you can be.
It might not happen overnight, but you will heal eventually.
So how do I know if I have depression?
Well, you'll usually exhibit more than one of these telltale signs.
Some of these are more surprising than you think.
1) Fatigue.
Do you wake up in the morning, every morning and just feel tired?
Whether you've had 3 hours sleep or 30 hours sleep, you're just too tired or fatigued
to do anything?
Tiredness alone isn't depression, but that might be an indicator of depression.
2) Change in appetite: do you eat like a horse for no reason?
Do you feel that you're trying to fill a void with food and then feel even emptier
inside afterwards?
Maybe you have the opposite problem and you feel so down so much that you just don't
eat at all.
Or when you do eat, you throw it back up again.
Changes to your appetite can be indicative of depression.
3) Self-loathing: Do you absolutely hate yourself?
Do you have negative thoughts swirling around your head?
Feel worthless that you're not good for anything, maybe you want to end it all?
This one's a pretty big warning sign of depression, so I wouldn't ignore this one if you have
it.
4) Numbness: Do you lack emotion?
Have you lost interest in things that you used to enjoy?
Have you lost your sexual mojo?
5) Introversion: do you try and avoid people now?
Do you go out of your way to be anti-social?
Maybe you've started locking yourself away in your room and not talking to anybody?
Again, introversion isn't depression in itself, but it's an indicator of it.
6) Erratic sleep patterns?
Do you end up sleeping at random times?
Going to bed and waking up at complete different times everyday?
Maybe when you do sleep you just … don't?
If you only have one of these symptoms, chances are that you probably don't have depression,
but linked to something else like poor diet, lack of exercise, stress etc.
But the more of those symptoms you have the more likely you do actually have depression.
If you figured out from this video that you do actually have depression, I'll reiterate
what I said at the beginning of this video: there is an answer for it, there's no shame
in admitting that you have it and it's going to be okay.
Tune into my next video: Part 2 (understanding what depression is) and part 3 (how to solve
depression) coming in the next few days.

Morning Conversations with Jim Self and Roxane Burnett - Where do you Resist - Duration: 9:31.
Jim, one of the things I've been noticing lately through Facebook posts
and emails from the people in our Mastering Alchemy community is a level
of discomfort in their guts, in their stomachs. And they're saying consistently
that there's also a level of resistance. Sometimes they don't call it that but
there's a clear connection between resisting the current events and what
they're feeling in their stomach. And so I want to talk about resistance and the Third Chakra.
Let's do this, look, but let me set this up. Let me see if I put it in
perspective that makes sense. Now let me also say that this is an area where
we're going to start to play in Mastering Alchemy Light because in
Mastering Alchemy Light gives me much more room to kind of explain this in
different detail. But let's talk about three Chakras: First, Second, Third Chakra.
And let me say it in a way that you don't normally hear this. The First
Chakra most people consider is about the survival of the body. That's how we
learned it over the last twenty, thirty, forty years-- survival of the body. What
most people don't understand is: the ego lives in the First Chakra. And the ego is
wounded. Now the ego is an absolutely essential part of you it's not something
you cut away or throw away. It would be like cutting off your arm or your leg.
The ego is a huge part of you that's wounded. Simple terms. Also the rational
mind doesn't live up here, it lives in that First Chakra. And so the rational
mind is all about keeping you safe and having you fit in. And so you've got a
wounded ego, you've got a mindset that sits in survival, and a rational mind
whose job is to keep you safe and fit you in, in society. So when you put those
three things together you begin to get this apprehension or this "pay attention
to," or "what's around the next corner?" sense of off-balance to start with.
You know, to put in perspective the First Chakra was never
about survival it was about well-being. So if you can live in well-being, which
is kind of where all the work we play in goes, you get a very different result
than if you live in survival. So the First Chakra basically has this
apprehension, "Be aware- pay attention- I'm not sure" experience. Second Chakra is all
about creative expression. It's this space where you say, "Wouldn't it be great
if--?" But when the First Chakra/rational mind/ego is saying "Beware," all of a
sudden you get this apprehension in the creative expression. And so the creative
expression is defensive, off balance, uncertain. It's in the Third Chakra that
in well-being... when you have well-being in the first and this excited creative
expression in the second, the Third Chakra is all about the propulsion, the explosion--
Making it happen.
Making it happen. The, "Yes, this is exciting." But when you
have apprehension and creative expression in doubt/uncertainty, then you begin to have
a number of factors that play out in the Third Chakra. So if you ever have Third Chakra
solar plexus right where the ribs come together-- here in the soft part of
the stomach-- whenever you have an experience of that hurting, if you ask
yourself, "Am I in power or control, judgement or resistance?" Four words.
And, "Am I pushing against? Am I being pushed against? Am I resisting it? Am I judging
something? Am I trying to control something?" 100% answer: yes. One of those
four factors or variation of those four factors are what we are experiencing.
So the resistance people are feeling really comes back down into the uncertainty of.
"What am i doing?" and then drops into the First Chakra "Am I safe?" And so what is
really important in this time and why I point to Mastering
Alchemy Light-- just as an expression for people have a place to go-- is how do you
understand that and then how do you begin to move around in a way to where
you can recognize that, reconfigure it, step out of it, not be engaged with it
but simply recognizing: "I'm worried about--" And most of what people are worried
about today have absolutely nothing to do with them. So one of the biggest
issues that I'm watching is everybody on the planet is feeling The Shift. Now
we're five years into The Shift and it's beginning to accelerate. It's beginning
to take turns and twists and presenting opportunities that are contrary to the
status quo. And so you begin to see things starting to happen or you have a
sense of things happening that are different than "What I know." And there you
go again, right back into the, "Oh what's happening?" So the world itself is in a
state of apprehension. Minus the wars and the geopolitics and the finances, people are
in this Shift of Consciousness. And in this Shift there's, "I'm not sure what's
going on" when the first three chakras are structured based on survival.
Well, and just knowing that that resistance and that pain in the body isn't theirs
can be helpful to begin the process to release it. If I know that my gut that
this is just energy in my gut that doesn't belong to me and I can put the
word resistance to it or power/control/ judgment, perhaps that's the first step
for people to know I can not go there I can release it.
So what you're doing
is you're becoming conscious of being unconscious. Now that sounds like a weird
thing in a way but you basically move through life not really paying attention,
just on some level of automatic. It's in that level of automatic that
this apprehension or resistance or concern is. So let me even point in
another direction here in terms of all those fundamental tools we have on the
website in Mastering Alchemy. They're free. They're "Do this-- what happens?"
They're, they're basically a whole construct of how do you observe, how do you get into
present time, how do you discern between what's mine and what's not mine, how do I
get very grounded and understand what grounded is? It's these tools that are
going to allow the apprehension to be observed, then chosen as to what to take
an action with regard. So observation/ choose an action is very different than
unconscious of being unconscious which often has "Shoot, ready, aim." And then have
to back up and apologize and figure out how to get out of it. So this resistance
is very real but it doesn't have to be yours, and this is why we keep pointing
to things like the free tools in Mastering Alchemy. Understand-- I'm kind of
talking to everybody-- understand there is some very significant changes that are
right in front of you and they're beginning to become conscious and those
changes are going to be very surprising to the bulk of the planet. And they
aren't things that are not... You're very much capable of dealing with them but if
you wait until they're in your face that's going to be an awkward place. And
so to a great extent these morning conversations and the fundamental tools
and Mastering Alchemy Light and the whole program of how do you really learn
to manage yourself and step into a multiple consciousness, dimensional
consciousness that provides so much more than the limited "unconscious of being
unconscious" that we walk around in.
So that was a bigger piece than just resistance.
Okay
But I think that it's getting important. I keep feeling
this urgency to say to people: Pay attention, there's some very exciting
things happening and some of them are going to interrupt your status quo.
Yeah
So until next time.

CARTOON NETWORK - How Do They Discover NEW Animated Content? - Duration: 7:37.
Cartoon Network has long had an interesting way of discovering new and innovative television
shows to bring to their growing audience.
Over the years, we've seen many original programming come from their numerous variety
shows.
But how did we get here?
How did we get to where we currently are, where animated shows that take a unique approach
to their given genres seemingly come out of nowhere?
It all starts somewhere – Cartoon Network has never shied away from looking at the past
for creating new content for the future.
In the year 1991, Turner Entertainment purchased the animation studio Hanna Barbera.
This gave them access to classic shows such as The Flintstones, Scooby-Doo, Jonny Quest
– just to name a few.
In fact, Cartoon Network looked towards the 1964 series Jonny Quest as they moved forward
with a series of year-long "Turner-wide initiatives" to capitalize on old characters
and create new franchises.
1996 became known as The Year of Jonny Quest, starting with the launch of The Real Adventures
of Jonny Quest – a reboot of the Jonny Quest series, that placed our protagonists a few
years in the future, where Jonny and Haji were now teenagers.
The series wasn't a smashing hit as they'd had hoped it to be, but it was the beginning
of something larger for Cartoon Network.
Something that would have more impact and set the tone for what Cartoon Network was
going for with their programming block, combining the old with the new.
Yogi Bear, one of Hanna Barbera's classic characters was reimagined in the late 90s'
by Ren and Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi.
A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith and Boo Boo Runs Wild were two shorts created by John
K that displayed a different style of humor, sexual content and break in tone from the
source material.
In fact, because of the nature of the shorts, Cartoon Network had a hard time finding a
place for it in their programming block.
That idea was short lived and stand-alone.
Trying to merge past shows with modern day influences and style is all good, but is it
really sustainable?
There are new ideas out there just waiting to be discovered.
Intro What A Cartoon – A new initiative that provided Cartoon Network with original
animated shorts commissioned from Hanna-Barbera and various independent animators.
This gave them the chance to assess the potential of certain animated shorts to serve as pilots
for spin-off series and signed contracts with their creators to create ongoing series.
What A Cartoon proved to be a well full of amazing talent, unearthing now classic shows
such as Dexter's Lab, Jonny Bravo, Cow and Chicken, the Powerpuff Girls, and Mike, Lou,
and Og.
Cartoon Network quickly realized the variety show format was the direction to go in order
to find new ideas for animated shows.
It was a great way to discover new talent, and really brought independent ideas that
may have gone unnoticed to the forefront.
This was a time where Cartoon Network took a lot more risks.
In fact, As part of their $350 million multiyear commitment to original programming, Cartoon
Network added four half-hour animated shows to its primetime lineup in 2001 and ordered
nearly 120 new episodes of existing shows.
How'd they find these particular shows?
They created something called "Voice Your Choice" where Viewers had the chance to
vote on which of three series pilots they'd like to see become a half-hour original series.
This was a weekend filled with 52-hour original programming.
All pilots vying to become an actual series.
Which shows made the cut?
Whatever Happened to...
Robot Jones?
Codename: Kids Next Door The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
This was really unprecedented, putting the fate of new shows in the hands of children.
Betty Cohen, the president at the time of Cartoon Network said, "It's the ultimate
in kid empowerment — they get to program the network."
After this great initiative, Cartoon Network was sitting pretty with a slew of new, original
programming.
They placed their trust in creators that were alums of the What A Cartoon school of ideas,
with Genndy Tartakovsky creating Samurai Jack, Craig McCracken creating Foster's Home for
Imaginary Friends, and American writer collective Man of Action with Ben 10.
All shows that were successful for Cartoon Network, with two remaining modern day successes
in their revivals – proof that Cartoon Network is always looking to the past to create a
successful future in programming.
Cartoon Networks last foray into extracting more original programming came in the form
of The Cartoonstitute, headed by Craig McCracken.
Unfortunately, it was a short-lived series, being cancelled well into the first season.
But not without providing us with three new shows in Regular Show, Secret Mountain Fort
Awesome and Uncle Grandpa.
That was the last age of the cartoon variety shows – from there, Cartoon Network would
return to their old methods of content discovery: looking at shows from the past and bringing
them into the modern era.
But this time, they not only took a look at the golden age of television with Thundercats
and the Looney Tunes Show, they visited the silver age with reboots of The Powerpuff Girls,
Teen Titans Go, Samurai Jack and Ben 10.
All shows that ran well into the late 90s', mid 2000s'.
What Cartoon Network has done in my opinion is a brilliant move – over the years, they've
always been conscious to the fact that they ought embrace new talents and pay attention
to the ones they currently have employed.
Rebecca Sugar started off working on Adventure Time before moving on to work on Steven Universe,
which started off as a pilot made specifically for Cartoon Network.
And now Ian Jones-Quartey, who also worked on both Adventure Time and Steven Universe,
is moving on to spearhead a series of his own that was picked up by Cartoon Network.
OK K.O.!
Let's Be Heroes.
Cartoon Network is a perfect example of a company that has truly acknowledged its past
to dictate its future.
Fine-tuning along the way its methods of operation, to see to us remaining excited about what
lies ahead.
You may not like some of the reboots you've seen from Cartoon Network, but the fact that
Cartoon Network is brave enough to take such risks in their programming, both on new original
programming and revivals of old classics, says something about their business model.
It's a business model that's for the consumers and the entertainers.
A channel that's filled with variety, for all ages.

How do I overcome my fear of evangelism? - Duration: 3:34.
- In terms of dealing with fear and evangelism,
I think the starting point is to realize
that not all fear is bad.
Fear reminds us of the significance
of the task of sharing the gospel.
It's not something we should take lightly,
and it also forces us to depend on the Lord,
and in that case, fear can be a very helpful thing.
But most of the time when people
talk about fear and evangelism,
they're talking about a fear that keeps them from sharing.
Three common fears that I've observed.
The first is not knowing enough.
They're afraid they're going to be asked a question
that they can't answer, and I tell people,
"You don't need to be afraid of that.
"That will happen."
I have two Master's degrees and a PhD in theology
and my own kids ask me questions that I couldn't answer.
I would just stand up tall and clear my throat
and say, "Go ask your mother."
It's okay to say, "I don't know the answer," to a question
or, "Let me research that and get back to you."
A second common source of fear,
people are afraid of the fear of failure.
They're afraid that they might do more harm than good,
but whenever I hear someone share that
they're afraid they'll do more harm than good,
I always think, "That's not your problem."
They're a sensitive person.
They're not going to come across
like a bull in a china shop.
It's the person that never gives sensitivity
a second thought that may come across as aggressive,
but when someone says, "I'm afraid I'll do
"more harm than good," that's not their problem.
They don't need sensitivity, they may need boldness.
But I love Dr. Bill Bright's definition of evangelism.
He said, "Successful witnessing
"is sharing the good news of Jesus Christ
"in the power of the Holy Spirit
"and leaving the results up to God."
We can't change anyone's heart.
Successful witnessing is when we share the good news.
I guess the greatest source of fear
if people were really honest is fear of rejection.
They're afraid, "What will this person think about me
"if I identify with Christ?"
I think of the rulers that John talked about
in John 12.
Said many of the rulers believed in Jesus,
but because of the Pharisees were not confessing him
lest they be cast out of the temple.
And then in John 12:43, he gives this epitaph,
"For they love the approval of men
"more than the approval of God."
We have to confront that our fear of rejection
is really loving the approval of men
more than the approval of God.
We need to love those who don't know Christ
more than we love ourselves.
In Acts 4, we see that the disciples were afraid.
They'd been threatened, and they were afraid,
and so what did they do?
They prayed for boldness.
I believe that's a prayer that God delights to answer.
When we're afraid, we simply acknowledge that and say,
"God I'm afraid, I'm scared right now.
"Would you fill me with boldness?"
That's a prayer that God loves to answer.
Someone described it in this way.
Fear knocked at the door,
faith answered,
and there was no one there.
