this? This is the last myth that we're cracking in this series: that "listening
to relaxation music and pregnancy meditation is enough". Now ok, I've gone
on about how that is super important however there is a misunderstanding that
that is all you need to do when there is so much more to entering that relaxation
zone so it's not enough. Are are you familiar with the fairy tale The
Princess and the Pea? I think most people know that one - so basically there's a
princess and she's trying to
get to sleep on a mattress
and there's a pea underneath her mattress
that's causing her bruising and pain and discomfort. To see if she still
feels it, servants layer on loads of other mattresses, soft mattresses, lovely silk
mattresses - more and more and more and more comforting things
but the princess still wakes up bruised from the pee.
Now, that Pea represents your FEAR...
It doesn't matter how many layers of comforting
you put over that fear, it's still going to
actually be there, princess! And you're going to wake up still having that Pea of
DOUBT in your mind and that is enough to chuck you back into that
"fear tension pain cycle" that we so desperately want to avoid.
So what we have to do is not pile on loads and loads and loads of different mattresses...
IE: so that's not just listening to loads of
those of meditations and relaxations because that's just piling on the mattresses.
What we need to do is to REMOVE THAT DARN PEA and it's as simple as that.
The cure is in the complete understanding of that fear and once you remove it then
those mattresses are going to have the best effect. They were good before but
now they will be perfect they will be really effective and you will have the
best sleep - you won't wake up or bruise and it's the same once you remove that
fear, that anxiety, ONLY THEN these meditations can have a real deep effect and they
will work and trigger well and you'll be less likely to find that
they don't work for you for some reason. A lot of people wonder why.. "I do lots
of this... I do lots of meditation and it's not enough and it wasn't enough on the
day and it just ALL WENT OUT THE WINDOW"
and you hear all of that and it's
because all of that strategy was incomplete
they only try to layer themselves with comfort as opposed to
really getting rid of the fear cycle.
It's like a kid at night scared. You'll know if you've got
little toddlers- and they're scared of that big shadow at night and you can
sing them all the lullabies you want they're not going to go back to sleep
and they'll just end up waking up again until you get them out of bed and show them
and explain what a shadow is - it's just the lamp shining on their teddy bear on
the wall and that's what's going to appease and that's what's going to make
them realize that there is nothing to fear that's why removing the pee is so
important and that's through proper education through your understanding of
how birth really works - how your body really was - how nature intended.
Understanding that real design is going to remove those fears. So make sure that
