So, I Used to Be Emo - Duration: 10:37.

sup fam Richey from social relapse here now I know what you're thinking with the

title of this video alright isn't he already emo what why does he look like

that he's wearing so much makeup he must be emo and a part of me agrees with you

some of you may call me emo some of you may call me doc some of you may call me

super big day either way I just go under the umbrella term as alternative but if

you consider me emo now and part of the emo subculture and sub-genre on YouTube

and kind of on the internet as a whole because there's not many of us left and

you're probably going to love the circa 2011 ish social repose because that's

what we're going to be looking at today I've never done a video looking at my

old my super old archive videos on this channel whether you like it or not this

channel is about six years old and even though I only kind of started doing the

whole YouTube thing about two years ago but two to mid 2014 album making shit

since 2011 and there's probably a pretty good reason why most of you didn't know

that it's because it wasn't very good it was pretty cringy and I've been kind of

sweeping it under the rug since there's so many videos on this channel but today

I just I just want to lay it all out there I want to kind of expose myself

feel free to go through my old catalog I've made three albums before my kind of

debut yoga playing to my audience of seven people it was a good time so some

of the most viewed videos on this channel are my music videos specifically

for my original songs like island of doors

filthy pride I made one for stand tall but the very first youtube video I ever

uploaded on the social riposte channel was a video called helium house which

was my very first single ever and you know it was it was a thing I was I was

in film school yeah I'm not sure who gave me a camera but this is a this is

what I created flight to the UK let's give myself money British boiler

there I remember editing this video the most clever thing Shane Dawson on the

okay so now that was the very first video ever uploaded on this channel and

I don't know I think I got off to a pretty good start even though it took me

about three years to get a thousand subscribers but you know this this could

have been my hit single guys the best part about this video is I was currently

in film school and I had to show this entire video to my class full of like

mid-20 year-olds and they had to like critique it and I I just I wish I could

have recorded that and just shown it now back in 2011 but you know hindsight this

is the second music video I ever put out released in November 5th 2011 not long

after helium house my my hit single and I have very heavily considered deleting

this video or at least unlisting it you kind of almost just have to watch it to

understand how bad it is I take some pride in helium house and all my other

music videos this one was clearly just like slapped together and everything

that I kind of stand against now with the creation of music videos let's just

watch the intro shall we uninterrupted this is it's gold

went through my EDM phase but we're not going to talk about that and the last

video I would like to show you is a one of the first videos I posted on my

channel not the first we already saw that one this one is called social

repose vlog number one the legendary I'm actually really happy I made these

because you get to look back on and be like wow I've really changed as a person

and I've gotten a lot better at this I think well hello I'm Rishi or social

repose and this is my first video log or blog

oh hell yeah I told you guys I do this probably about a month ago or so but

I've been kind of lazy all right what am I getting around to doing it so some

quick information on social repose it's not really a band it's more it's almost

like that half asleep it's just me on my roll Mike record making - the little

riffs and putting them together on internet for you to enjoy or I put on an

EP called Paradise it's eight tracks seven of which are original eight and

the eight the last one the EP is if that was kind of like that imagine all of our

couches I haven't thought of a name yet but it's going to be awesome so does it

work yesterday and it got damn right it's going to be awesome all four people

heard it two of those people were my mother and my sister I can't watch

anymore that but you can find it it's readily available about social repose

vlog number one this just goes to show you that all your favorite youtubers

have to start somewhere I guarantee you most of the really big youtubers on this

platform have really cringey and awful first videos videos they wish they had

never done but keep them up for a nostalgia snake but I must ask if you do

perhaps go through some of my older videos from 2011-2012 maybe even

bleeding into 2013 which one is your favorite and ton and

tell me why I want to know why also shameless plug I'm going on toward this

ISIS Makeup tutorial!! Gorgeous terrorist makeup so hot right now - Duration: 6:23.

Few days ago I came across this tweet and the story is about how

So today, I have decided that I am going to do a little makeup tutorial.

To, you know, teach everyone if you ever need to crossdress as a woman.

Yeah to escape or whatever.

Yeah so you can do the makeup look as well.

Yeah! So let's get started!

So I'm looking at his makeup and I think that it's probably inspired by the recent Beauty and the Beast movie.

Because it looks like the 18th century kind of like French makeup

where they have very very white faces and they love to like draw on their moles.

I think the first thing I will have to tackle is the very very white foundation

So, let's do that.

I don't know where he got his foundation from cause it looks like it's a very nice shade.

But what I have with me here is Dashiel's baby powder.

From home I took it.

I don't know whether it will stay but hopefully.

Aw~ it smells like Dash.

Imagine I had to explain to my maid this morning.

"Uh..Can you give me baby's powder..? I need to bring it...for work."

"Er. Okay."

Oh my god oh I look like a fucking pastry.

Like a powdered doughnut.

So it's really really great this foundation because

I actually use talcum powder which is really really cheap and affordable for everyone!

And if you cannot find talcum powder you can also use like baking flour..

self-raising flour..

all-purpose flour..

or maybe I don't know if you have it in excess you can try putting cocaine.

So let's move on to the eyebrows next.

Ya, so I'm looking at the picture of the brows

and I think...

What happened was he probably tried to draw his brows

and then it didn't turn out even.

So he draw it thicker and thicker and thicker you know how that happens sometimes?

So, what I'm going to use is marker pen.

So I can see that he opt for the straight Korean kind of brows.

It's very good it makes you look more kind I guess.

Which is great when you're trying to look like a good woman.

I would say that I captured about maybe 90% of similarity to his?

Since we are at it, like might as well use the marker pen to do the moles.

Oh very good, very good guys!

Okay so I got my mole now I feel like an opera singer I love it.

Next let's move on to eyeshadow.

Where did he learn this shit man?

Maybe he watches Jeffree Star on Youtube.

Once again, the look we're going for is a strong woman.

So, you need to really get that purple in there.

Done with my eye shadow let's move on to eyeliner now.

There is alot of eyeliner going on here so let's waste no time!

If you cannot afford eyeliner you can also just try to use a marker pen.

It's blusher time!

Like, just make two dots.

Don't stray beyond that and do not blend.

Alright guys I'm almost done with the makeup.

I'm only left with my moustache and my lipstick so I'm going to apply my moustache now.

Why do men like this? So uncomfortable it's making my nose damn itchy.

Hehehehe.

Well now that I have it on I can like feel like the whole patriarchy

and the power of like being a man coming to me.

So I can understand why he didn't want to shave it off.

This feels like for every 73 cents that you earn i will earn one dollar.

I cannot do the rest of the goatee because I don't have the appropriate moustaches do it.

So I'm just gonna draw it.

I'm not pretty sure what's going on like here at his cheeks.

It looks like it could really just be his beard?

Alright so I'm done with my moustache.

And the last final step is lipstick.

So I'm done with my makeup look it's wonderful I think I did such a great job.

I really actually do look like him.

I just need to complete it with...

I need to cover my hair so, just get a piece of cloth from somewhere.
