Antonio Conte desperate for Chelsea to use Nemanja Matic sale on signing Antonio Candreva, Alex Sandro or Virgil van Dijk
Antonio Conte will put pressure on the Chelsea board to use Nemanja Matic's transfer fee to sign one of his top targets.
The Italian has endured a mixed transfer window so far this summer, bringing Alvaro Morata, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko to Stamford Bridge but missing out on a host of players.
Conte was said to be fuming after seeing his top striker target Romelu Lukaku complete a move to Manchester United, while the Premier League champions also failed in their pursuit of Danilo and Leonardo Bonucci.
The 47-year-old remains hopeful of bolstering his squad during the remainder of the window, however, and Matic's departure will enable him to pressurise the board for further business.
Matic helped the Blues clinch two titles in the space of three years but was given permission to talk to United earlier in the month with Bakayoko set to partner N'Golo Kante in Chelsea's midfield.
Mourinho confirmed the Serbia international was keen to join United and Conte hopes his departure, thought to be worth around £40million, will allow for further spending in west London.
The Daily Mirror claim Inter Milan's Antonio Candreva, Juventus defender Alex Sandro and Southampton star Virgil van Dijk are Conte's three top targets.
While Inter have reiterated their stance on Candreva, insisting the Italian winger is not for sale, Chelsea may be able to force through a deal for 26-year-old defender van Dijk.
The Dutchman remains hopeful of sealing a summer switch and Liverpool dropped out of the transfer race earlier in the window after being accused of tapping-up offences.

Write A Screenplay Or TV Pilot? by Daniel Calvisi - Duration: 3:22.
Film Courage: What's the first step in writing a screenplay, either for television or feature
film?
Daniel Calvisi: Well, I think it's making sure that your concept can sustain a full
feature film or a series.
Now in TV it's trickier here because you not only need to have a great pilot (which
is one episode of your show) but you need to have a concept that can sustain a series
for multiple seasons.
So you need to have what a friend of mine called a playground (a dramatic playground)
which is you create this very specific world and then you put these very interesting characters
into it to play and bang against each other and have lots of dramatic conflict.
If that idea is something that can sustain and run for awhile, maybe that's a better
idea for TV.
Whereas feature films have closed endings, so you are going to have an idea with a beginning,
middle and end.
And that's pretty much that.
Film Courage: Okay.
Let's take the feature film scenario.
So [what is] the first step in writing a screenplay for a feature film?
Daniel Calvisi: I would say story mapping it out.
If you have a concept that you think is great and you're passionate about it and you want
to write it, write a story map (which is your basic outline).
So it's going to be for 8 to 12 major signpost beats and your 4 story engines and you're
going to define your core elements first (what I call the basic story map), which is your
protagonist, their external and internal goal, the main dramatic conflict standing in the
way of that goal that is going to generate all those obstacles that are really going
to sustain the story.
Your controlling theme which is your major meta theme that you are going to be exploring,
and then a few other elements like your protagonist.
You want to have your skill, their misbehavior (a misbehavior is a quirk or personality trait
that consistently generates conflict) and then their achilles heel which is just that
thing that could destroy them, could potentially destroy them.
So once you have those core elements and then you have the major signpost beats of your
outline, then you are ready to do a full scene outline and then jump in and write pages.
Film Courage: What is the first step in writing a screenplay for a TV series?
Daniel Calvisi: I would always say start the story as late as possible, enter the story
as late as possible so you don't have much set-up and so the story can get going right
away.
Film Courage: Do you think sometimes new writers they overwrite and it's too dense and they
are giving us too much backstory?
Daniel Calvisi: Yeah…too much set-up.
You don't need that much set-up.
Maybe you're opening with a flash forward like in Breaking Bad.
It's like BOOM! - we are in this intense scene where there is this guy in his underwear
driving an RV like a bat out of hell and he has a gas mask on.
And he crashes the RV and in the script he (Brian Cranston) was called underwear man
before we find out his character's name was Walter White.
But they just BOOM! dropped us right into the action and that is something that really
grabs a reader.

I bought wet dog food Cesar Classics filet mignon flavor in meaty juices in a 3.5 ounce tray
Ol' Roy filet mignon flavor in savory juics in a 3.5 ounce cup
I thought it would be interesting to sample the 2 different kinds of wet dog food for small dogs side by side Cesar and Ol Roy
taste test same flavor and compare the 2 kinds of dog food Cesar Classics Ol' Roy
look how they compare this is the Filet Mignon flavor and
when I opened the 2 cups of dog food
the filet mignon flavored dog food you can see the Little Cesar dog food
is a bit meatier looking with more sauce gravy on it
the Ol' Roy filet mignon dog food
seems to be more like a whipped consistency like pate
will my dog care about the difference
between Cesar dog food and Ol Roy dog food
will my dog have a preference
I took a spoonful of little Cesar classic dog food and a spoonful of Ol Roy dog food
put them side by side on a plate and
set it down to see which dog food my AlaskaSammy would want which dog food will he choose which dog food will he like better
you can see my dog AlaskaSammy dove into one dog food then he dove in and ate the other dog food
they my dog went back and licked the plate clean of both Cesars and Ol' Roy dog food
my dog didn't seem to notice any difference in the flavor or care which one he ate he loved both dog foods the same
he enjoyed both dog foods
next I took 2 plates side by side
I took a bit of the Cesars Classic dog food
and put it on a plate
I took the Ol' Roy dog food and put it on a different plate
would it make a difference if the 2 dog foods were on different plates will my dog eat them both or choose just one
well, my dog AlaskaSammy dove into the first plate of dog food Cesars
then he dove in and ate the Ol' Roy dog food
then he went back and licked each plate clean
my dog doesn't seem to care which dog food he gets he loves both kinds
my dog doesn't' seem to notice any difference in the flavor of the 2 dog foods
the Cesar classics dog food trays 3.5 ounce cup costs 78 cents at Walmart in Alaska
the Ol' Roy dog food cups 3.5 ounce size dog food costs 67 cents each at Walmart in Alaska
it doesn't seem to make a difference to my dog AlaskaSammy which dog food he gets to eat
he likes them both the same
the less expensive option of Ol' Roy over Cesars might be just as good
costs less easier on my bank account save money with Ol' Roy dog food
when it comes time to feed my dog I can save money and still give him quality food he loves to eat
try a taste test with your dog
see if it makes a difference to him which dog food he eats and enjoys
