How To Make Video Marketing Work For You - Sharing Tips - Duration: 5:19.
YouTube is a business model in its own right and it's geared to sharing great
value with its viewers. It encourages businesses - large and small - to advertise
(to generate ad revenues for itself, of course) and rewards those video creators
that encourage viewers to watch more videos, and for longer. And the main way
YouTube measures the value a video is providing its viewers, is the average
length of time a video is watched i.e. its average watch time. The greater the
average watch time, the more socially engaging it is deemed to be by YouTube - and
the higher the video ranks. Now, there's two aspects to this. There's the video
creators sharing valuable information with viewers, and then the viewers
sharing that valuable content with their own network of contacts. So how can we
turn these shares, and the process of sharing, into warm leads with video
marketing? Hi, my name is Jeff Laming of Video Cashflow and in this video I'll
briefly explain the link between social media shares and how to direct that
sharing to YouTube videos for the benefit of your business. One of the keys
to getting your name out there is to continually attract new followers, and
this is where all of the social media platforms enable you to attract "likes",
"pins", "subscribers" and so on. You could collectively call them "acknowledgments".
Before I explain further, if this is the first time you're watching a Video Cash
flow video and you like what you see, hear and read, please click the
Subscribe button at the bottom of this video so you can get access to more
video marketing and business videos on a weekly basis. Therefore, YouTube is
ideally placed for your videos to attract these social "acknowledgments"
However, where social media works to the benefit of your videos listed on YouTube
is that a social share can alert people on Twitter, Facebook and so on to the
existence of your video.....on YouTube. But social sharing doesn't stop there. You
see, it's only when people watch and comment on your videos i.e. they engage does your
video benefit by being ranked higher on YouTube and Google. In other words, the
social shares on social media don't really count for anything
unless people are being directed to your video on YouTube - where "likes", "comments",
"subscribes" and an increase in the average watch time DO count. Take
videos on Facebook - these get more exposure than static images and text-based
posts -so you're going to get more "likes", "comments" and social engagement. The
trick though is to somehow direct those Facebook video viewers ((and those on
other social media platforms) to your YouTube channel and YouTube videos or to
your website and landing pages. In the previous video we recognized that both
YouTube and Facebook are social sharing sites. Facebook is recognized to be the
largest of the social media platforms. That's not to say that the other
social media platforms are to be ignored. And the great thing about all the major
social media platforms is that videos can be shown on all of them. Just one more
thing about YouTube - your videos will stay on YouTube for years to come (unlike
on other social media sites) and if a video shares great value adding content
with viewers and those viewers continually share that video with
colleagues, friends etc do you think it will make life better a little bit easier
for when you go to recommend a product or service to buy (whether that's your
own product or and affiliate's)? So when spending your time on social media try
and think a bit more strategically when it comes to sharing your content.
Remember, you're no longer engaging in social chit-chat with friends, family and
complete strangers. You are now running an online business. And because of that,
there has to be a purpose to your social media posts, because your business model
will be geared towards making sales. You see, the power of video is that it
attracts, engages, educates and directs viewers via calls to action to your
website or landing pages as quickly as possible to give you the opportunity to
convert them into buyers. And in the next video, we'll be highlighting how video
marketing turns those warm leads and potential buyers
into tangible and measurable results. Thanks for watching. I hope you found
this video useful. Look out for another video on video marketing and YouTube
coming your way next week. And if you like this video please click the "Like"
button underneath the video; feel free to Share the video with friends, family,
business colleagues and associates. And by all means leave a comment or ask a
question in the Comments section also underneath the video And don't forget to hit
the subscribe button if you'd like more videos on video marketing and business
tips, tactics, techniques and strategies that could help you with your own online
business. Until the next time, bye for now....

Beer Chilli | Recipe Roulette - Duration: 9:58.
- Hey everyone, it's Barry here.
Welcome to My Virgin Kitchen.
I hope you are well, you're looking good, actually.
Today we are making, bear with me,
sausage and beer chilli.
All being well, you'll be seeing it on the screen
right now going, "Ooh, that looks amazing."
But I don't know if it's gonna work out.
Hopefully it will, this is a part of recipe roulette,
the third recipe roulette video I've done.
Remember when I went into the supermarket, discovered some
random shopping list, and now loads of you guys
tweet me loads of images of shopping lists.
We made a recipe out of that and then we did
the patreon pie.
Shout-out to my patreons!
Today we're doing a third one, which is gonna
be this chilli.
I asked you guys to send me tweets
using the hashtag MVKreciperoulette.
I actually pulled out this one from @ScorpioNatalie.
Maybe that's your star sign.
"Please make a recipe with sausages,"
that might not be your real voice.
"Sausages, chocolate, chilli, beer,
any vegetables and cream."
So will nat--
will nat? From that,
hence the sausage chilli beer thing is born.
So let's check out the ingredients.
You're gonna need eight sausages;
these are just ones from my butcher.
We're gonna snip those up so they cook a bit faster.
You can always use frankfurters if you can't get
meal country.
We've got green and yellow peppers.
Nice sort of traffic light thing going on, you'll see.
Some kidney beans, so we just drain them
out of the tin.
A chilli which I've sliced and kind of left
his little hat, just so you can see that
it is a chilli, I've de-seeded it as well.
Remember to watch your hands after that.
You don't want to go to the toilet
after touching chilli; I've learnt that
the hard way.
Some chopped onion, dark chocolate.
Just a few chunks of that.
This is a mild chilli powder.
You could go hot if you want, it's up to you.
Some gravy granules, ground cumin,
absolutely love that stuff.
Tin of chopped tomatoes,
and some basmati rice; it's just really nice,
easy rice to cook just alongside it.
Of course, a beer.
So I better make sure that this is a beer, haven't I?
That's beer, and it's only (chuckles)
it's only 10 in the morning.
Good start to the day.
Actually this stuff I discovered on our honeymoon,
Mrs. Barry and I and to be fair,
I did get very, very merry on it.
So that will do well, we're not gonna use
the whole bottle, I don't want to make this into
beer with sausage in it.
It's gonna hopefully have the right balance in there.
Before we get started, I want to say a massive thank you
to all of the feedback so far on the videos.
Both constructive and positive, we're working
our absolute hardest to make this the best we can.
I know that people don't like change,
but there is that thing of going from the
old Virgin Kitchen to the new Virgin Kitchen.
Those two worlds are gonna collide
and we're gonna make it as fun as we can.
I've got some super trips planned, days out.
Playlists, really cool stuff.
People coming here, guests, YouTubers, family friends.
I'm so excited and your support means the world.
I'm just basically taking the dream
to the next step, so let's do this.
Let's have a big hug and make an awesome chilli.
First thing we're gonna do is
take our sausages and with some scissors,
which is actually one of my favourite things
utensils to use, anyway, we're gonna snip
these sausages up so they cook faster.
We can take the skins off if you wish.
I'm gonna leave them on.
It did actually get me thinking.
I think I touched on it a minute ago that
I do have a gadget that makes sausages at home.
You can buy the cases on the internet as well
and I think doing like a sausage making video
could both be very informal ...
No, informative, but also
quite innuendo-filled.
I feel like I could get quite a lot of friends
involved in that video, we could have a lot of fun
but anyhow,
just snip your sausages.
So I've pre-heated our hob to the number five.
I still don't know what that number
actually means, but it doesn't matter.
So we're warming the frying pan.
I've got just over a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
I'm just gonna droop that in like so.
In that goes, I'm gonna warm that up
and start to cook the sausages once it's hot enough.
Hopefully, gimme five will be enough for that.
So the oil's nice and warm now,
and we've got our pan here, that's for our rice.
Just to warm up in the background,
a little bit of water in there.
So let's just push these sausages.
(pan sizzles) Oh, yes.
Lovin' that sizzle.
Straight into the pan.
I'm gonna cook this for our priority
is just to brown them off.
Give them a little suntan,
just a light brown tinge okay.
It's got other stuff to go in there with it.
So typically I'm cooking meat.
The dogs are right down here.
You guys are right there,
they are very interested in these sausages, but
now we've got that nice light brown tinge there.
We're gonna carry on, start to soften up
our vegetables.
So we've got those green and yellow chopped peppers.
There you go.
OCD; the OCD in me had to get that last pepper in there
and some of you hate that as well.
I'm gonna push in the chopped chilli
and the chopped onion.
In that goes.
Now we just give it a blooming good stir together.
You're gonna get the onions nice and translucent.
The chilis and the peppers softened.
So just soften that up.
About five minutes.
(sizzling) So we're gonna go floppy.
I've got a couple of minutes while
that softens up, so a big thank you
to everyone that gave me name suggestions
for this camera.
I think there was a Rob 2 cam,
people liked the Colin name
and also I think Camera Handerson
was another popular one, but I don't know if the bog--
the bogs?
The pugs are that infused by it, but anyhow.
Let me just give you a little perspective of my
point of view right here.
You can see the studio lights reflecting nice;
kind of looks like some UFOs there.
But we've got a real nice colour in there.
Mix it through, steam up the lens
and let's keep cooking.
All right folks, it's smelling good,
but we must carry on.
Here is the chopped tomatoes from before.
Just gonna pour that on top.
It's gonna start to soothe the recipe a little bit.
We'll mix that through, just to initially coat it.
It's calmed down a lot more.
In fact, it's hammering with rain outside.
I can actually hear the rain more than the sizzerin'
right now, the sizzerin'?
The simmering.
We're gonna add in the ground cumin.
Shake that up, it's coming for ya.
It's cumin for you.
Very bad for you pun.
The chilli powder, sprinkle that in.
Some gravy gan--
ganules?
Some gravy granules gives it a little bit
of a tang, also thickens it up slightly.
We can't just dump the chopped tomatoes in there.
What we wanna do is trying to give it
a little bit more water to simmer off
and of course we've got the beer for that
as well, so we're gonna take
probably about 200 mils of the beer.
Rob and I are gonna drink the rest later.
On our balcony, as we look at the
horrendous rain outside.
Also, what I would normally do rather than using
the beer, but I really feel that's gonna work
really well with the gravy granules,
we're gonna add some water, so about 200 mils
of water as well.
So we're getting a nice balance between the beer.
The alcohol content will simmer off.
We're just gonna mix that through,
oh my gosh.
That smells very yeasty. (laughs)
You might be thinking right now, "Bas?
"I said I would put in my chocolate chunks
"and also my kidney beans."
We don't put the kidney beans in specifically
because they go (makes blubber noises) too much.
You want to hold them back, want to keep them
nice, a little bit firmer okay?
So, beer with me, which is an intentional pun
and by the way this video is not sponsored by
Estrella, but if you guys are watching,
I love ya, you know?
Here we are.
Simmering away gorgeously now.
It's had about maybe sort of 10 minutes
for those flavours to meet,
we started to reduce down.
We've got three blocks of the chocolate
now going in there.
We're saving one block for the end, you'll see why.
And in go those kidney beans that suddenly do
make it feel a little bit more like a chilli.
So we'll just stir this through
and let the heat mingle with that,
but meanwhile we've got our pan of water
that we set off to simmer for the rice.
So this is basmati rice.
We're just tipping that in like that.
Oh, yeah.
One of the easiest rices to cook,
takes about 12 minutes.
We literally just leave it.
I'm gonna simmer those flavours down.
Folks that is basically cooking, so yeah.

Let us know down below what you wanna see next.
There's so much cool stuff we can do
and we wanna make this as awesome for you as we can.
Just grind in some black pepper on there.
Also some salt. (bubbling)
it's very therapeutic to stare at simmering chilli
like this, I really like it.
So just mix that seasoning through.
Simmer it down for another five minutes.
But it's time to serve it up.
So down goes our rice, it's so soft and delicate,
like a pillow.
We've got a nice little bed for our chilli to sit on.
And this chilli, to be honest, if I wasn't making it
for Rob to try as well, I'd probably just eat it
right out the pan, here we go.
Straight down there; oh!
It doesn't need to be neat and tidy, it's a chilli.
Pile it on there, those chunks of sausage,
the sauce smells amazing.
I'm sold by this.
Sprinkle on some grated cheddar cheese.
Let it melt in there from the heat of the chilli.
Let's not forget the request for cream in that recipe.
A nice dollop of sour cream on there.
Oh, yeah.
Parsley because, it's green.
Looks quite nice, doesn't it?
Bit dainty.
Let's bring back the quirkiness by grating on
some chocolate on top.
Just a little bit, not too much but it kinda,
kinda works.
See these little specks coating the rice,
the cheese, the sour cream.
(sighs)
Let's try it.
Really happy with this.
So excited to taste this.
Have some man, get in there.
Oh my gosh! - Looks amazing.
- It's kind of got a German vibe to it, I like it.
It's like hearty ...
Warming; what'd you think?
This scarily works for me, I don't know.
You like it? - It's pretty interesting.
- Yeah!
- It's really good!
- There we go. - Really good.
- So, that is it for me folks.
Now it's your turn.

10 Videos of Animals Seeing Real Ghosts - Duration: 14:55.
It is said that animals can feel and see the presence of another being or energies way
better than we humans can.
And people around the world were lucky to capture some of these events on camera.
In this episode, we want to take a look at 10 Pets That Saw Real Ghosts
A night camera captured the dog of the owner, wandering around in the kitchen.
Some energy must have caught his attention and he seems to follow it.
The owner of this dog claims, that she can always feel cold spots
and even notices strange smells in her cellar.
Is her dog able to even see these anomalies ? Look close to notice
the orbs.
The owner of tese 2 dogs captures them while they are playing with each other.
All of a sudden, one of them seems to get thrown off by something else in the room.
This man notices straneg behaviour in his aparments, when he also notices that
his little kitten is picking up a strange ernergy.
A stationary Camera picked up these 2 dogs, who were located at the master bedroom at
the time.
When all of a sudden they pick something up, you can see the paper ball moving behind one
of the dogs.
The owner has left his two dogs home alone that day.
Suspicious of any unnatural activity in his home, he has set up a camcorder for the first
time.
This man was woken up quite frequent due to his dog howling at the back door of his house.
This night he wanted to film this strange behaviour.
Youtube Kaelyn Speaks talks about a strange occurance, which shook up his little dog.
He explains the whole case in this clip.
Bossy the dog was caught several times growling and barking at unseen things at night.
This was reason enough for the owner to capture it this night.
The dog Stella randomly reacts strange to the living room of her owner.
The camera also seems to have picked up some anomaly this time.
Thank you guys for watching and stay frosty!

Xiaomi Mi A1 Camera Review: Sample Photos and Videos - Duration: 5:36.
Hey guys!
This is Tech Brothers.
I already made first review, unboxing and performance test of Xiaomi Mi A1.
You can find links to these videos in decription.
Now, let's talk about camera of Xiaomi Mi A1.
It is the first Xiaomi smartphone with stock Android 7.1, instead MIUI user interface.
It means, that new smartphone doesn't have chinese apps and settings.
However, if we talk about camera, Xiaomi has to use its own camera app, because stock Android
camera app doesn't support dual rear camera setup.
Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with dual camera setup on the back.
On of them is 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, and the other is a 12MP telephoto lens.
The chinese manufacturer says, that smartphone has flagship camera, however, it is not really
true.
Real flagship smartphone from Xiaomi called Mi6 has another camera, and it offers faster
aperture and optical image stabilization.
On the front panel there is 5-megapixel camera.
The camera app is not from stock Android.
Xiaomi had to use its own camera app, because of dual rear camera.
So, if you already use Xiaomi smartphone, then you are familiar with camera interface.
Here, you can tap the x1 and x2 to toggle between the wide-angle and telephoto lens.
Also, there are toggles for filters and easy access to different shooting modes, such as
panorama, beautify, tilt shift, a square mode for Instagram, and others.
You can use Manual mode on Mi A1.
It allows to play around with different settings like White Balance, Focus, Exposure Time,
ISO and Lens.
The settings menu provides another options, such as photo and video resolution, water
mark, and so on.
Image quality from Xiaomi Mi A1 is quite decent, but not on the same level as flagship smartphone
cameras.
In daylight with good lighting conditions, the photos are great and detailed.
Colors are rich and bright.
There is plenty of detail with sharp contrast However, if you are in less than ideal lighting
conditions, then you can see some grainy on photos.
Even night photos look fine.
I can say, that Xiaomi Mi A1 is a champion in the mid-range segment, it takes really
good photos in low light conditions.
Also, you can get good selfies in under natural and plentiful lighting.
By the way, camera app has beauty mode, and you toggle it in Auto, Pro and Off.
As for the videos, Xiaomi Mi A1 is able to record 4K video at 30fps.
It is a pitty, but camera doesn't have OIS and EIS.
It means that video shakes while recording in hands or walking.
However, videos has accurate colors and a wide dynamic range.
Also, you can record slow motion 720p at 120fps.
I think, most people will be happy with Xiaomi A1 photos.
It takes really good photos in daylight, and decent night images.
The main disadvantage is that it has not image stabilization, so videos there will be a little
shaking.
However, we cannot get ideal smartphone for $230!
Thanks for watching!

for two thousand years the Maya

its civilization was born and grew to

after a few hundred years their

the Maya have been one of the greatest

Question No. 2.09
we will be able to understand this
to unite their destiny with that of their
famous neighbors or imagine the life of
their habitants
this year they only have 60 days to
to investigate the history of the Mayan city
from its birth to its fall
Music

in this jungle each mound is a
buried building
each change in the relief hides a
unexpected discovery of vegetation
that invades the city and erosion

on arrival we discovered almost 600
structure representing zones
residences where the majority lived
of the inhabitants of the city all
temples pyramids squares and palaces in
tell the story as the
we understand now every year we discover
new monuments
so far we have registered about 70
slabs and altars throughout the city
the main difficulty of the work is
the jungle for a long time we could not
have an overall view of the whole
of the site where the
architecture
there are several buildings that
still preserves the facade but when
they collapse they become a heap
of stones and large buildings
can be confused with a hill as well
that it is quite easy to confuse one
natural hill with the remains of a
ancient temple there are hundreds of
constructions and identify those
buildings involves years of work c
is the gaston story how it was created
this city and what role it played in
Mayan valleys
there is an impressive list of mysteries
to be resolved and, at the moment,
beginning of excavations
these remains have not revealed their
secrets for researchers
the story begins with the buildings
that were built when creating the city
like these three temples that look at each other
each
are called triadic set form the
center of the Mayan cities
although we do not know what his
affective function that tendon
is one of the main theories can
that these temples represented three
stones on which the
food and that gives us an idea of some
type of cosmogony where it was placed
a bonfire in the center
the first fire went on in the
moment of creation and it was necessary
to cook something on these three stones
three temples are represented by these
three stones
that was the initial theory even though
then some archaeologists have
suggested that maybe these temples
may be related to worship
maize combined with the elements
associated with it
like the rain and the sun is one
possibility
zeus and we also know that it is a
social system there was a
policy so probably
could also have been the place
where the agreements and
political decisions or even the
crowning of the heads as in the
triadic set what are your
Map References: 36.723810, -4.419811
during the last five years the
archaeological work has been combined
with a large research study
first topographic data were used
to create a city map
then the buildings were bought with
those of neighboring cities
finally 3d lets us see how
could be the city in the different
stages of its existence at the point
we are staying now with
what we can see on the surface
Music
when the whole was built
triadic at the end of the third century more
tuna started its expansion were created
the first palaces and built the
first mine measures but how did it grow
fast this city as a step
small village with a few hundred
inhabitants to be a great city and home
of thousands of people
for Sunday and the response to
these questions come from a city
maya near the viewpoint
Music
the viewpoint was one of the first
large Maya cities were created before
what is your about 600 before
Christ at that altitude was the home of
more than 80 thousand inhabitants
the American archaeologist richard
hansen started digging there when
was a student
Music
when you return to this altitude you can see
clearly the deposits since the
pyramids stand out
Music
and of course this is the biggest
in the second century after Christ
when nations zoom
it seems that the viewpoint was not going very
fine
the emergence of this may be
linked to the slope of the
capital of the world in its time in its
apogee and see where is the shadow that
she is the great self-governing pyramid
marta but the world's largest
volume is one of the largest in the
world to imagine without horses and
carts without balloons and docks and mules or
sweat and human blood considered good
since you have the reconstruction that is
the full volume

Music
a short time ago
a building in the middle of the jungle
gazebo whose angles were covered
with reliefs of stucco was only one of
the dozens that were in the place
today we have covered 38 kilometers
squares of monumental architecture
but not only had large buildings
palaces platforms walls and driveway
but rather extraordinary systems of
gardening were green cities each
square meter of the city was used
productive way where they were cultivated
pumpkins beans corn and cotton as well
who cultivated all these products
here and that gave them the economic strength
to be able to build this impressive
city and not only that but the
roadways that built allowed
have links to all others
neighboring cities and create what
we consider the first society of
state concept of the western hemisphere
with his attitude the viewpoint was more
important that the rest of cities
neighbors
however the discovery of its
Defensive system tells us that the city
most important Maya era was
source of envy welcomed by
center and control within control
reading from the cause to grass with wall
I was in Paris
It looks like there were beams also standing
for finally maybe in this facade
external of 40 thousand and then turn around
for the psoe and for the north also
is also being analyzed where it is
an interesting clue as to what
happened in the lookout at its end is
possible difficulties
policies and threats to this
place that was the largest of the
time
so they built this wall with
several doors and so was very good
mixed with time each time there were
less doors there is no other clue about
the growing threat they faced and
Then,
Diaz everything ended ended badly
Music
the city was abandoned between the years
150 and 200 after Christ
the inhabitants of the viewpoint
mysteriously disappeared
population dispersed but where
were all probably the area of
around us was 20 kilometers
hence probably
around the year 150 after
Christ a large number of people
established in astún from the
gazebo
Music
is the tenth day of excavation in
astun
archaeologists return to work under
the curious look of the inhabitants of
the jungle appear the first numbers
the first reliefs come and soon
discover a burial site mamut
I'm late
it is an opportunity to know
how of the inhabitants of zoom and
to understand their funeral rites the
way to bury the Mayan people in their
dead
is a great mystery since we have
very few bodies in spite of the
size of all these deposits
here for example we are breaking the
floor made of stucco and
debris was buried in a
specific position and with several
objects
depending on the status of the person or
the most important people will be
buried in funerary temples
while normal people did it
in the place where I lived
I do not die, it says I find it very
difficult to describe what it feels like to
to discover something like this is a series of
things are nervous before you take it out
relief when leaving a room
satisfaction to see it complete and is
the pleasure of holding it is the same
something simple and complicated
dishes or trays are often found
placed on the head of the dead
and most have a hole in the
medium
this practice is a mystery to
archaeologists
this supposes two things the first thing is that
had funeral rituals the plate with the
hole in the middle means no longer
has more utility and second according to
some people allowed the soul
of the deceased went to heaven in the
Mayan civilization not everything is alive
but everything is animated
everything is animated in a symbolic way and
magic but when you stop using a
object you have to discourage it so
to make a hole in the set is a
way of discouraging the object and for-
destiny that is to accompany the deceased in
his life in the other world
Music
20th day I do every day grows more
the city in astún expands more and is
becomes more enigmatic
but the history of its inhabitants century
after century is still difficult to
to decipher blood ceramic
I do not think I even doubt that
content something in order to discover
more archaeologists perform
parallel excavations work
meticulous past in what seems to be
insignificant clues
Music
these ceramic fragments are a source
of information when comparing them with
ceramics known to form and
decoration allows dating buildings
in which they have been found
But that's not all.
alejandro patiño the expert on
ceramics project has discovered
something interesting this ceramic
found in ashton is decorated with
a famous dancer the dancer of
tikal
is a clue about the relationship
the more you do not
and this royal city throwing some light
in the next part of the story
Music
between 200 and 250 AD alliances
of the Mayan world were divided between
two calakmul superpowers to 40
kilometers north of aston that
competed for supremacy with tikal a
60 kilometers to the south
the fourth century of calera the city
dominant at war often
developed fast and gained advantage
with respect to neighboring cities but
may become very influential
because a third party that did not have
nothing to do with the Mayan civilization
I was dissatisfied with this power
region that emerged
teotihuacán in mexico was more than
meters away was a city
huge and very influential in politics
economy and religion in america
central for teotihuacán and calera a
enemy and had to be dominated
Music
but how could I conquer
teotihuacana tikal played a role
important in aston conquest until
now it seemed to archaeologists
difficult to believe that an army of
warriors of teotihuacán could have
traveled more than a thousand kilometers to
defeating tikal there was no real evidence
of a conflict, however, these
evidence and there were archaeologists of
The doulas had

there on the surface of the rocks what
that had to be done was to decipher the
last year
work with a famous epigraphist
alfonso lacadena alfonso examined all
the rocks of nash doom and in particular
this rock of medium size
it is not the most imposing rock of the
but it is undoubtedly the
more revealing was the
strategy of chair cac the emissary of
Teotihuacan
then the text here says ok
vin water jet blue hole uia haunted cac
it's a wonder as long as we can
to understand what it says and
declares that it is the caution the captain of
jack war
this is very important because it is the one
very good confirmation that this
entrance of teotihuacán os to pt pvem and
pt in maya was not made in isolation
but also had the collaboration and
with the support of other Mayan groups
we have the kingdom here in astún
actively participating in what was
the center in half
astún allied with Teotihuacan against
tikal
thanks to its large number and potential
of provisions it could offer
nacchtum the army if jack could
come to attack tikal the modesty prevents me
sometimes confess it no i do not know what
I did but it was a very big emotion not
always in the race of the race
professional as we find texts as
important
Music
the 16 of January of the 3 178 the emissary of
teotihuacán arrived at the gates of
tikal with troops of nestum the king of the
city was captured slaughtered without
doubt and replaced by the
colider of teotihuacán then tikal
became the most powerful city
of the Mayan valleys 95 2395 is the wall
original among this chaos of rocks walls
in ruins and derived temples
archaeologists try to understand
how it changed in astún after this
Ocurrence
here we are in the pyramid we imagine
that there was a monumental staircase
I was going from this side and behind
we had a very large square that
could be the central square and then
buildings around
as soon as you see it you know it's a
pyramid is a great base with a
square in the middle
the first topographic studies of
this construction revealed that the
forms of the temples that remain
something diffuse was built one behind
On the other hand:
for philippe this was the acropolis of
the city were built just like the
necropolis of tikal and contain
tombs of the first great kings in
astun
plus
what impressed us and surprised us
when we first came in 2010
it was these fingerprints here
wood used a layer of applied mud
with the hand so the marks are seen
they left their fingers where the mud
placed on the stones something quite
clear in the Moors
this gives us a direct connection with
the actual workers who built
the camera saw him
the walls are covered with a type
stucco painted red is
issued
so they used a precious material that
it's quite difficult to get
that shows us his status as king and his
ability to get materials
coveted and precious goods
centuries later these riches
would attract looters have been
discovered more than 300 tunnels
illegally excavated in the
birth of zoom and the acropolis was
one of the first victims
the formation of all the information
that took the looters
information we will never recover
both, for example if there was a
name painted and carved engraved on a
actual container that information will never
we will recover juan romero
here we have a very beautiful camera
well built for one person
important to them but we will never be able
relate it to a dynasty that
we could have known for the
inscriptions is very frustrating
You
at the beginning of the fifth century the great
acropolis would be located west of
the eastern city would stand another
square a palace and a pyramid
which had transformed this
small town in a regional capital
which could rival tikal la

return to their travels and examine the
seventh and eighth centuries of history
mesh that happened in astún during that
where you can find some
tracks
during that period large and
small to fight against each other in
bloody wars there were alliances and
treachery
the rulers will be dismissed and
new forces were emerging
Music
calakmul the seat of the kingdom of the
snake had been kept in its
territory but one day it started
expand its influence and power
zoom ally of tikal for centuries
was concerned about the increase in
power of this city was with a
population of 40,000
what role would play in this rivalry
emergent
in the history of the classic Maya world
kingdom of the serpent was a great kingdom
and that is reflected in many places was
a kingdom that imposed and extended its
influence in all directions
was a conquering kingdom and
expansionist and its kings who believe
descendants of the snake wanted
extend its power in all directions
yaya at that time calakmul saw tikal
as an enemy against which to fight
to gain control over his great
rival
calakmul went around and
controlling it by stifling cities
who were loyal to tikal
the years calakmul was
he was at the top of his power
were a critical period for the
history of more than one or other single
at which time more tuna was

is an important development that

majority of Mayan cities in the valleys
the conflicts between the great

Music
the Mayan kingdoms competed
continually implying a state
permanent war in tikal a new king
and took the city back to the
supremacy with new riches and
renewed pride led the fight
against calakmul and this time came out
victorious but a few years later
tikal fell again and all the
Mayan civilization that had flourished

most of the Mayan cities are

that i could
what was his secret to find out
the archaeologists investigated a series
of illustrious houses the appointment in 750 to the
city underwent a radical change
abandoned some neighborhoods and the
residential area was concentrated here in two
large spaces that were built
to accommodate a number of families
these spaces were built in the
new central square that would become
in the new political center of
city
it is as if the city had been
reorganized around the year 750 this
reorganization coincides with the
recent evidence and evidence

there are some lovely things so
these houses belong to the elite of the

paradox at the end of the period of
occupation of the city because there is a
sudden and very intense prosperity that
lasted a century or a century and a half and that
same time it would end the abandonment
full of the city to the people

excavation and has made a discovery
surprising has found an example
of the emblematic animal of the Maya
among his samples
until now he had found animals
that were eaten like deer and peccaries
I had pulled this bag away because
came from a tomb when I started to
analyze it found the bone of a
paw and I realized that it was a
carnivore a young man and after a
little while
I could see that it was a feline and all the
parts were there which is great
the position was the emblematic animal of
the Maya was the symbol of power and
bravery was often associated with warriors
but also to priests and the
royalty
the jaguar is often associated with
elite and can represent the spirit
animal associated with an individual as a
prince
so it is easy to imagine that when
the prince died sacrificed to
animal associated with him is also the
fact that the jaguar and the great
carnivores in general
they accompanied the dead to the beyond
especially because for the Maya and in
the mesoamerican cultures the jaguar did not
it was only a nocturnal animal but a
animal of the underworld
Music

during this project have been excavated
almost 30 burial sites each
skeletons taken for an exam
pathological
the objective is to gather information
about how people lived
Today's Team Anthropologist
isaac barrientos is going to analyze a woman
I am interested in knowing how to
lived the ancient populations as
adapted to different ecosystems
what are the markers that affect
health for example what we see in the
teeth are among other things
events of growth and
development that occur and the tissue
tooth enamel can identify these
alterations because it leaves the
balance between growth and
tooth enamel development and is marked
with a line
here we can see at least two lines
of which was indicating in which
indicate two episodes of dissolution
growth rates on this site
how she died this young girl suffered
malnutrition
his life was so hard that he died
along all the deposits
mayas the examination of dozens of skeletons
has revealed signs of deficiencies or
effort since the end of the eighth century
$ 50,000 and above
Music
at the same time most of these
monumental cities was left without
population
Music
how the mysterious collapse is explained
of the classic Maya civilization
Music
archaeologists have been many years
asking that question and have
developed a series of theories
continuous wars between the different
cities could have weakened the
natural catastrophes
as hurricanes are well scared to
inhabitants or epidemics could
have decimated the Mayan population
Music
about the vantage point richard hansen
has another idea to understand his
fall must also be understood by
what reasons became a
superpower can not have one
fall without destroying the facts things
that made you prosper we found
for example in this case
environmental problems
we have proof of a time of drought
but the most important thing is that there are
evidence of human abuse of the environment
environment for example only for
complete the final layer of the pyramid
there were win each tree in 600
hectares of forest and that only for the
final part
it's not that they do not want to come back, they do not
they could not recover the
fields that gave them life had
been destroyed what generated its power
was destroyed
if we look at the problems of
current societies we can see the same
mentality b
to richard hansen the envelope
exploitation of the forest was what
led to the disappearance of the viewpoint in

this hypothesis lies arqueobotánica
study the relationship between society
Maya and its natural environment
research includes taking
samples of the most commonly used trees by
the mayas
this is the famous liddy chicozapote
wants to know how much coal can be
obtain from this species of tree in
particular then compare the results
with the amount of coal found in
graves and houses are trying
to establish whether some species of
trees had disappeared with the
time a tree in particular the
chicozapote gives you a great answer
until the end of the occupation
this tree was easily found
but it is a usual tree in jungles
high and old so that suggests
that until the end of the occupation
there were still areas of ancient jungle
close to the place for me is a clue
clear that eliminates the doubt of the
hypothesis of great deforestation
during the classic terminal period
between 800 and 1000 after
christ wars between epidemic cities
natural disasters or
overexploitation of land and
jungle in astrium
scientists have not ruled out the
theory of massive deforestation but
now are closely examining the
effects of possible climate change
and the swamps that were witnesses
of life in cities
could provide the answer that
has been looking for since it started
the excavation
silk until net is a geographer who is
interested in a very specific aspect
of these ruins away from jade and
painted ceramics
sediments located at the base of the
water hundreds of years ago could
reveal great surprises
here we have two different layers one
dark and another light the dark layer is
composed of clay and
organic deposits remains of branches
etc. and then the clear layer that is
very different from the other is composed
mainly of gray clay
if we look more closely we see many
remnants of shells and small snails
here we have a sample of the old
environment a sample of the changes
environmental impacts that occurred
passed to be examined this section
allows you to imagine how the
landscape and the climate of astún
I think we have proof here of the
presence of a permanent lake a mass
of water that was maintained all year round and
then a change with a transition
towards a more continental environment
marshy and earthy as it is now
that the disappearance of this
lake and the local decline of society
maya around astún took place
at the same time as it increased
the disappearance of the lake was the end
astún was caused by the change
climate
our researchers are looking for
same evidence of it
Where are the molluscs here?
about 3 millimeters and the transition
between blacks and grays between 1900
and the 1900 or 1000 after Christ is
say when it was abandoned
transformations of civilizations to

cyclical climatic changes but
