Chris Marek Actually Speaks Out! But What Does He Have to Say? - Duration: 3:20.

Chris Marek is tired of listening.

He's tired of reading all those insults hurled his way via social media, as Little People,

Big Word fans across the Internet accuse him of being a gold digger who is no good for

Amy Roloff.

He wants to finally set the record straight.

For the first time that we can remember, Marek has actually sat down for an interview, talking

in depth about his relationship with Roloff.

The pair have been together for nearly a year now and show no signs of slowing down.

Marek is a successful real estate agent who seems completely smitten and who has been

accepted by all members of this close-knit family.

So, why do so many people out there hate Marek so much?

Why are there so many comments on Amy's Instagram page that urge her to dump his sorry, no-good

rear end?

Marek has no idea.

But he can at least address one rumor that continue to make its way around the Web:

Is he engaged to Roloff?

Are they planned a wedding?

"No, we aren't engaged," Marek tells Radar Online in this exclusive Q&A, adding:

"Everything is good.

Everything is strong, but not at this time."

It does sound like something Marek has considered or would consider, however, and he even may

have hinted to Radar just when the major question may be popped.

"Nothing major is happening now," he insists, prior to dropping what some could consider

a significant tease:

"But we have a cruise coming up next month - that's the biggest thing happening in

the near future that we are excited about."

Could this big thing include a big diamond as a gift to his long-time girlfriend?!?

We can only speculate at this time.

Amy, of course, split from husband Matt Roloff back in May of 2016.

The reality stars released an amicable joint statement back then and haven't said a single

negative word about each other in the media since.

Matt has moved on himself to a woman named Caryn Chandler , yet some folks out there

continue to either hope for a reconciliation or to push Amy to at least find someone other

than Chris.

As we said previously, we really can't figure out why.

Marek seems really nice!

As you can see via photos such as the one above, Chris often hangs out with Amy and

her kids, which is a huge reason why we're happy to accept him in her life.

If her children don't have any objections, how can we?!?

The only question remaining is the one Marek answers above: Are they engaged?

Okay, no.

But will they soon be engaged?

It sounds possible, doesn't it?

You can expect The Hollywood Gossip to be leading the cheering section when this blessed

event does, at last, take place.

We just want Amy Roloff to be happy.

This kitten was found only two days old trapped underneath a log and covered in maggots

He would have died if it weren't for a four-legged rescuer who must have heard the meows for help and came running

Opie the dog refused to budge from the log until his owner saved the kitten and brought him home

Here is little Roscoe safe and sound at his new home. Thanks to Opie the dog and his owner

Roscoe was only two days old when they rescued him

After a warm bath and a visit to the emergency vet Roscoe seemed to do much better

He stayed nice and warm in his new comfortable nesting box. They created for the little guy

While Rosco was still little he needed to drink his milk from a syringe

He loved being cuddled and held after his tummy was contented

After eating the tuckered out little kitten would crawl back into his nesting box and fall asleep with his pink bunny

And almost two weeks old both his eyes opened

This is Roscoe sweetly content after his feeding he's about two and a half weeks old in this picture

This Family Home Looked Normal On The Outside. But Inside It Was One Color From Floor To Ceiling - Duration: 7:22.

This family home looked normal on the outside, but inside it was one color from floor to ceiling

If

You'd strolled along the sidewalk outside this British home in late 2013

You would not have needed to look twice it appeared to be a typical semi-detached property on an ordinary street in suburban London England

However any semblance of normality would have been shattered if you stepped over the threshold and peered inside

The bizarre family abode was up for sale in Hillingdon on the leafy outskirts of the English capital

The exterior presented a perfectly plain yet attractive aspect with its white walls and red orange tiled roof

but any prospective buyer

Investigating the interior would have found themselves scratching their heads with curiosity

What was so weird about it you may be wondering?

Well you may have heard of Fifty Shades of Grey this dwelling offered a more colorful spin off

fifty shades of purple indeed almost every corner inside this point

four-bedroom house was eccentric ly covered in a variation of that view

indeed lavender and lilac

Periwinkle and plum all were represented in the monochromatic color scheme

Not only were the inside walls and carpets purple the home was decorated with purple ornaments and furniture throughout to fit the theme

There were even matching curtains cushions rugs and much much more

the only other colors to be mingled in this purple paradise were white and black and those neutrals just succeeded in making the

violently violet like shades pop even more in the living room for example

It was all purple apart from the black armchairs some white detailing and a smoked glass table in

The bedrooms anyone moving into the vacant property would have woken up red eyed every morning greeted by the regal colour

each of the bedspreads were a rich shade purple and

Certain rooms had complementing drawers cupboard doors and drapes to swamp the senses

Even the washroom got walloped by the purple palette with mauve wallpaper and white tiles decorated with what else

violet flowers the little room match the others perfectly

Moreover purple carpets even hugged the floor

Complemented by furry bath mats and the same colored fabric, surrounded the bath tub and sink Stanley

Indeed none of the rooms were spared from the eccentric ly single-minded interior designers purple patch

Nevertheless the front yard actually looked normal with green foliage and typical garden ornaments

the only clue given of the house's secret was a single pot of lilac flowers a

Uk-based real-estate company called Rightmove put the quirky residence on the market for a hefty four hundred thousand pounds

About five hundred fifty eight thousand dollars in November 2013. It was advertised on the Company's website

Complete with pictorial evidence of its owners apparent purple passion that is when the home was rented the most purple house in Britain

Not that there could have been much more competition for that particular distinction

Nevertheless Rightmove marketed the Hillingdon house as a highly desirable dwelling

the advertising copy read a sought after address and a family inspired design are the hallmarks of this cleverly planned an

extended four bedroom semi-detached home

The real estate agencies purple prose continued to say that the property had been maintained to a high standard before going into

extensive details of the rooms kitchen yard and garage

However the listings description did miss out one obvious if not totally glaring fact

Believe it or not the written description of the house on right Louvre website did not comment once on the highly unusual

hewed interior design of course sometimes a picture paints a thousand words and when prospective house buyers got a load of the

Hillingdon properties photo gallery, it was more than enough to send the pilot like house

viral

Within just a week of right loop uploading the for sale details on its site two million people had viewed the posting

The property's real estate agent told British current affairs program Channel 4 News that there was lots of interest with plenty of intrigued

potential purchasers viewing it

However regarding the households color quirks the purple hearted homeowner had nothing to say

According to right move the seller did not wish to be involved in any of the colorful gossip, surrounding their home

Nonetheless this reluctance aroused some skeptics suspicions in

Fact a rumor emerged about the property the purple paint job was actually believed to be an elaborate publicity stunt

But who could be behind such a blue mixed with red Roos

Well, UK chocolate brand Cadbury became the number one suspect this was due to its similar use of the rich purple shade

Which dominated the Hillingdon home namely Pantone?

2685 see purple

Since the property went viral online commenters have written on various platforms

one of the many to question the MA wysz motives

commented under the story when it appeared on the website of UK tabloid The Daily Mail they wrote a

Blatant Cadbury's publicity stunt that's racking up the viral stats on the internet

other cynical online commenters questioned the homeowners bizarre choice of decor

One added to the conversation by asking

Why is there a bad in the middle of the dining area the shag carpet going up the bathtub cracks me up another simply wrote

carpet in the kitchen seriously

One Daily Mail fan made a wry reference to the hit TV show Breaking Bad

They commented who knew Hank and Marie had a house in the UK for those

Who've never seen the series the breaking bad character Murray had a particular penchant for purple?

However the real reason for the wacky interior of this otherwise normal home is still not known

The fact that the palette perfectly matched the chocolate brand may have been a coincidence, but speculation still roamed

Perhaps it had been the pop star Prince's London pad

Maybe he treated the hood - a cover version of Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix in the end it's like the old saying

Don't judge a book by its cover on the outside the Adobe rendering made the residents look like your everyday suburban English home

But the inside was rich with color and wonder. Why was it like this was it an inside job

We may never truly know

But we can certainly hope that the current occupiers have kept a little bit of purple so the mystery can live on

Hyde St seat of most blazes but callouts fall

The king of couch fires in Dunedin is no longer Castle St.

Fire crews attended more furniture fires in Castle St than any other Dunedin street from 2013 to 2016, an Official Information Act request to Fire and Emergency New Zealand revealed.

But last year, the hot spot lost its crown to Hyde St, which topped the list.

The number of furniture fire callouts in Dunedin has plummeted 86% in the past five years.

Incident numbers fell from 136 callouts in 2013 to 19 callouts in 2017.

Of the 19 callouts to furniture fires in the city last year, 79%, or 15, were in North Dunedin, six of them in Hyde St and four in Castle St.

Fire Emergency New Zealand fire risk management officer Mark Bredenbeck, of Dunedin, said furniture fires were a nuisance, a danger to the public and used resources.

We are here putting fires out when we should be somewhere else, he said.

Crews in Dunedin had attended four nuisance fires this year.

The four fires were in the north of Dunedin and the items burnt included a wheelie bin and a television.

The latest was a couch fire in Duke St, North Dunedin, on Sunday.

Mr Bredenbeck said nuisance fires in Dunedin were diminishing.

People are starting to wake their ideas up - and I think that has a lot do with the universitys stance.

Fenz office of the chief executive director Leigh Deuchars said a joint initiative between Fenz, University of Otagos Campus Watch and Otago University Students Association had been educating students on fire safety since the start of the 2017 academic year.

The initiative involved a visit to every student flat and college dwelling was visited by Campus Watch who distributed information on fire safety and the issue of couch burning.

The initiative, installation of CCTV cameras and the universitys zero tolerance approach to arson had contributed to the decline in the number of couches being burnt, she said.

Good Morning Britain takes on BBC Breakfast in ultimate showdown – but who will win? - Duration: 4:04.

Good Morning Britain takes on BBC Breakfast in ultimate showdown – but who will win?

Piers Morgan has a long-standing feud with Dan Walker, saying Good Morning Britain is better than BBC Breakfast.

The duo regularly get in sly jabs on-air and on Twitter, with Piers adamant that GMB knocks the BBC show out of the park.

But could he be left eating his words tonight after ITV and the BBC take each other on in a direct competition? A team of personalities from each channel has come together in a rowing race for Sport Relief.

Battling it out for the BBC are Sara Cox, Dan Walker, Rory Reid, Sophie Raworth, Ellie Harrison and Dev Griffin.

"It looks relaxing when you watch it on the Olympics, but its a skill" Sara Cox On ITVs team are Charlotte Hawkins, Ferne McCann, Nicola Thorp, Chris Bisson, Jake Canuso and Chris Hughes.

Todays Good Morning Britain saw Ferne and Sara sit down with Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard and Charlotte for a bit of fighting talk.

The race took place earlier this week, but it seems the rivalry was still firmly in place – though the result is yet to be revealed.

Talking about the preparation, Sara said: They make it look so easy when you watch rowing.

It looks relaxing when you watch it on the Olympics, but its a skill.

I went through a rollercoaster.

I was like, Im gonna join my local rowing club! to wanting to bash the boat, saying, I hate this thing. Ferne echoed Saras sentiment, saying: Theres a real technique to it and I couldnt grasp it.

Its completely different going it on the rowing machine in the gym.

We had an extra training day and I grasped it and I was like, Right, I can do it. Charlotte explained she was at the front of the boat and was warned not to catch a crab.

Catching a crab is when a rowers oar gets caught in the water, sometimes being so forceful the rower is pulled from the boat.

Sara confessed shed got a slight injury, joking: I cut my finger.

No, its fine.

I didnt wanna let you guys down today, I still made it in. But everybody remained tight-lipped on the result – so will Piers Morgan be forced to admit defeat on Monday morning, or will his gloating be next level? Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.

Sport Relief airs tonight at 7pm on BBC One.

France's PSA Group Has "Chosen a Brand" for U.S. but Won't Say Which - Duration: 3:08.

You may have heard by now that French automaker PSA Group plans to sell vehicles in the United

States once again after a nearly 30-year absence but is starting first with "mobility."

As part of a three-phase plan, the company launched its Free2Move mobility aggregation

platform in Seattle last year, and the next phases include adding its vehicles to different

car-sharing services and then finally retailing its wares.

Larry Dominique, president and CEO of PSA North America, told attendees at the National

Auto Dealers Association convention in Las Vegas, "Our launch as a mobility service

shouldn't overshadow our core business: We are a car manufacturer."

As a global automaker, PSA Group is absent from two prominent markets: India and the

United States.

Its planned re-entry into the States is on a 10-year plan, but Dominique said he has

group CEO Carlos Tavares's blessing to begin offering cars whenever he feels the market

is ready.

When C/D asked Dominique which models could be coming, he declined to give specifics.

"We've chosen a brand, but it's too early to talk about it," he said.

Could it be Peugeot?

Citroën?

Might PSA troll General Motors and sell Opels here?

Actually, that third option, while perhaps the least exciting, is not so unlikely.

One of the advantages Tavares noted after the PSA Group acquired the brands from GM

for $1.4 billion last year is that Opel engineers can "ensure the future products for this

market will be fully U.S. compliant," aligned with both regulations and Americans' particular

tastes.

They could do that for Peugeot or Citroën, too, as the company consolidates its holdings

and shares engineering and development programs.

Badging new products under one of the French brands would be no more difficult than it

was for GM to sell Opel products here under the Buick banner.

But even as the PSA Group sounds resolute about its re-entry into the U.S. market, it's

hard to tell whether the first phase has gone swimmingly so far.

The Free2Move app can be downloaded and used anywhere in the United States where its aggregated

mobility offerings—car-sharing services such as Zipcar and Car2Go—are available,

but the company has only "activated its marketing" in Seattle, Dominque told C/D.

"It's just a good market for mobility," he said.Peugeot cars were pulled from the

U.S. market in 1991, and Citroën cars haven't been offered by the manufacturer for sale

stateside since the mid-1970s.

NEXT-GEN VOLKSWAGEN TOUAREG DEBUTS, BUT NOT FOR U.S. - Duration: 2:56.

The U.S. market largely ignored the Volkswagen Touareg at the end of its run, and now we

may be feeling some regret.

That's because the new version looks pretty fancy, maybe even luxurious.

VW is presenting the third-generation SUV in China, one of the largest markets for the

Touareg along with Europe and Russia.

Unfortunately, it won't be sold in the U.S.

The third-generation model is wider and longer than its predecessor, and it also boasts more

cargo space.

Despite the larger proportions, it is 234 pounds lighter thanks to the use of aluminum

and advanced steels in the bodywork.

Inside the cabin, you'll find new tech goodies including a digital instrument cluster with

12-inch display, about as big as Audi's "virtual cockpit."

To the right, there is a top Discover Premium infotainment system that utilizes a 15-inch

screen.

The Touareg also features ambient lighting and available white leather seats done up

in a nice diamond pattern.

A head-up display shows key information on the windshield near the driver. The Touareg

receives a semi-autonomous system that helps with lane keeping, accelerating, and braking

up to around 37 mph.

Other features include LED matrix headlights, night vision assistance, active all-wheel

steering for improved handling, and front cross traffic assist, which reacts to cross

traffic in front of the Touareg.

Europe will initially receive two diesel engines, and a number of markets will also get a V-6

gas engine.

In China, a plug-in hybrid model boasting 362 hp is on the way, although plans for this

engine in Europe are still unclear.

Last July, we reported that Volkswagen had made the decision to drop the Touareg for

the U.S. market.

Discontinued for the 2018 model year, the U.S. Touareg had a good run in the U.S. lasting

14 model years.

When it launched, we praised the SUV for mixing carlike qualities, such as a smooth ride and

responsive handling, with legitimate four-wheel-drive off-road capability.

But eventually it was hard to ignore the model's high price tag and its awkward positioning

between mainstream and luxury SUVs.

Volkswagen will debut a concept for a five-seater version of the Atlas SUV at the New York auto

show.

Expect this model to come to the U.S. to help fill the gap left by the outgoing Touareg.

Winter Olympics Organizers Confirm Cyber Attack, But Refuse To Reveal Source

PYEONGCHANG, South Korea (Reuters) ― Pyeongchang Winter Olympics organizers confirmed on Sunday that the Games had fallen victim to a cyber attack during Friday's opening ceremony, but they refused to reveal the source.

The Games' systems, including the internet and television services, were affected by the hack two days ago but organizers said it had not compromised any critical part of their operations.

"Maintaining secure operations is our purpose," said International Olympic Committee (IOC) spokesman Mark Adams.

"We are not going to comment on the issue.

It is one we are dealing with.

We are making sure our systems are secure and they are secure." Asked if organizers knew who was behind the attack, Adams said: "I certainly don't know.

But best international practice says that you don't talk about an attack." The Winter Games are being staged only 80km (50 miles) from the border with North Korea, which is technically still at war with the South since their 1950-1953 war ended in a truce rather than a peace treaty.

The two teams marched together at an Olympics opening ceremony for the first time since 2006.

South Korea has been using the Pyeongchang Games to break the ice with the reclusive North, which has been trading nuclear threats with the United States recently.

"All issues were resolved and recovered yesterday morning," Pyeongchang organizing committee spokesman Sung Baik-you told reporters.

"We know the cause of the problem but that kind of issues occurs frequently during the Games.

We decided with the IOC we are not going to reveal the source [of the attack]," he told reporters.

Russia, which has been banned from the Games for doping, said days before the opening ceremony that any allegations linking Russian hackers to attacks on the infrastructure connected to the Pyeongchang Olympic Games were unfounded.

"We know that Western media are planning pseudo-investigations on the theme of 'Russian fingerprints' in hacking attacks on information resources related to the hosting of the Winter Olympic Games in the Republic of Korea," Russia's foreign ministry said.

"Of course, no evidence will be presented to the world." Cyber security researchers said in January they had found early indications that Russia-based hackers may be planning attacks against anti-doping and Olympic organizations in retaliation for Russia's exclusion from the Pyeongchang Games.

Stakeholders of the Olympics have been wary of the threat from hacking and some sponsors have taken out insurance to protect themselves from a cyber attack.  (Editing by Peter Rutherford)    .

A Mom Noticed Her Son Grew Unusually Fast But The Reason For His Extreme Height Is Heartbreaking - Duration: 8:34.

A Mom Noticed Her Son Grew Unusually Fast.

But The Reason For His Extreme Height Is Heartbreaking

It is often remarked that children appear to grow up in the blink of an eye.

Just ask any experienced parent.

It seems like one day, their offspring is a helpless newborn who fits in the crook of

an elbow on the way home from hospital.

And the next day, they are all grown up and leaving home to start lives on their own.

Spare a thought then for Michigan mom Darci Brown…

Indeed, Darci, who lives in the city of Jackson, MI, has experienced this phenomenon more drastically

than most.

In fact, her son, Broc, was always ahead of the curve.

As an infant, her boy grew incredibly fast, and was towering over his kindergarten classmates

at a very early age.

An alarmed Darci asked doctors what was happening to her more than five-foot, five-year-old

son.

The medical professionals ran tests and then broke some horrible news.

The Brown family had a massive problem on their hands, and one which could have tragic

consequences.

Before that dramatic diagnosis, however, young Broc seemed just like his peers in kindergarten.

He appeared normal in every respect but one.

While the average five-year-old boy measures approximately 43 inches – just shy of four-feet

tall – Broc totaled five feet, two inches.

To put this in perspective, the average height of an adult American is five foot, nine for

men and five foot, four for women.

With this in mind, Darci knew something wasn't right so she consulted a physician.

Their diagnosis was that Broc had Sotos syndrome, which is also known as "cerebral gigantism."

The hereditary condition, which affects about one in every 15,000 people, facilitates rapid,

taller-than-average growth in newborns until the teenage years.

By adulthood, however, most sufferers have settled into a normal height for an adult

and there is nothing more to worry about.

Nevertheless, there was a long list of further causes for concern for the Browns.

Along with the diagnosis, they were informed that Sotos syndrome came with a wide range

of other problems.

Many who succumb to the genetic disorder also go through developmental delays, including

learning disabilities and the slow adoption of social skills.

Others experience attention deficit hyperactivity disorder – or ADHD – obsessive compulsive

disorder – OCD – and autism.

Also common to Sotos sufferers are co-ordination problems and low muscle tone.

To top off this list of woes, for a few there was also something much more serious to worry

about.

Unfortunately, it was thought that Broc was in this number.

His mom was told that the prognosis for her kindergartener was grim.

Doctors told Darci that it was unlikely that her son would live to see adulthood.

"There's nothing that can stop him from growing," the despairing mom told U.K. tabloid

The Sun in September 2016 when Broc was 19.

"I don't know if he will ever stop."

After hitting five-feet, two-inches tall in elementary, Broc became a six-footer just

in time for middle school at the age of 11.

By the time he made it to high school, the then 14-year-old had sprouted to a staggering

seven feet in height.

His mother noted, "He could easily grow six inches a year."

And, like others with Sotos syndrome, Broc and his family had experienced many of the

long list of attendant maladies.

"He has ADHD and intermediate explosive disorder," Darci stated.

She explained the latter behavioral complication further, adding, "When he gets mad, he's

mad."

Broc's mom continued, "It wouldn't take him two seconds to pop a hole in the wall

– it could be very dangerous if he wasn't on medication and able to be calmed."

However, Darci did maintain that instances of this type of behavior were rare for her

boy.

She insisted to the tabloid, "Overall he is a big softie, his heart is as big as his

body."

His disorder also took a physical toll.

Broc described his chronic growing pains to The Sun, saying, "It kind of feels like

a big tennis racket has gone through my back."

But, unfortunately, because the boy was born with only one kidney, his doctors have prevented

him from using traditional painkilling medication to fight his constant aches.

Nevertheless, the ever-budding Broc tried his best to reduce some of the day-to-day

pain he was experiencing.

He explained, "I do stuff to stop it hurting and it makes me feel like there's a needle

gone through it – it's hard to deal with.

I just wish the doctors could do something to help my pain."

In search of some relief her stoic son was suffering, Darci organized a 1,000-mile journey

from Jackson to Little Rock's Arkansas Children's Centre.

The boy had a consultation there with Dr. Bradley Schaefer, an expert in Sotos syndrome.

Subsequently, the specialist was able to give the Browns some good news… and some bad

news.

Unfortunately, Dr. Schaefer was unable to provide Broc with any sort of remedy for the

constant spinal ache the boy was enduring.

However, the expert was confident enough in the then late-teenager's health to overturn

the previous prognosis that Broc would die before he became an adult.

"Broc is easily the tallest man I have ever seen," Dr. Schaefer told The Sun in September,

2016.

"Unfortunately, he will always have to deal with some form of pain, but I believe that

he will now have a regular life span."

As the jubilant teenager readily agreed, it was "the best thing I could have heard."

By the time he was 19 years old, Broc measured seven feet, eight inches.

The youngster was closing in fast on the height of 30-something Turkish farmer Sultan Kosen

who is currently the world's tallest man at eight feet, two inches.

The tallest individual ever is acknowledged to be the American Robert Pershing Wadlow

who died aged 22 in 1940, measuring eight feet, 11 inches.

While the wider world awaited further growth from Broc to see if he could overtake Kosen

and Wadlow, his local community rallied around.

But this was not just to cheer the young man on to greater heights and a potential world

record.

The people of Michigan wanted to be of practical help.

Many of the fundraisers had witnessed for themselves the difficulties and expense of

clothing and housing one of the tallest people on Earth.

Bearing in mind his outsized frame, Broc was forced to wear apparel which had been designed

especially for him.

Broc wore bespoke items from head to toe – and this meant a high cost of living.

For instance, his socks alone cost almost $20 per pair to cover his size-28 feet.

On top of that, Broc required a custom-made, eight-footer bed, and an individually crafted

chair with a price tag of more than $1,000.

His mom spoke with gratitude to The Sun about the charity the Browns had received.

Darci said, "We have had a couple of benefits for Broc where the community got together

and helped us out.

He made around $10,400.

It didn't last long, we had a lot of outfits, but within a year he was out of them and it

was time to do it again."

Although Broc's giant height can cause a massive financial strain, the Browns are determined

he should not have to pay for his condition in other ways.

Both mom and son continued in their determination that Broc would lead a normal life.

The teenager dreamed of having his own job, telling The Sun, "I hopefully want to work

for a sporting goods store."

With the danger of death lifted, and his health in the clear, Broc was looking forward to

a long and hopefully contented future.

In light of his tough childhood, Darci promised that she would never force Broc into a career

that didn't suit him.

All the mom wanted for her child was joy and fulfillment.

She summed up, "I just hope he has a good life and is happy with everything he ever

does."
