In the hard freezes two

winters ago, my Celeste fig tree's trunk died in the cold.

What grew

looked like feeders.

They had no branches, but did have small fruit, but

never any large edible ones.

Are these smaller branches growing from the

root stalk and not the Celeste?

How do I prune this fig to make it

produce again?"

- Well, I would like to just address the pruning issue on it.

- [Chris] Okay.

- They could cut it back, he could cut it back down to about a third of

the plant left on the ground and it will come back.

I mean, they'll

grow.

It's one thing about a fig tree, they will bounce back big time,

or a fig bush, I guess.

They will come back and as far as the root stock

deal, I was just recently told that they don't have rootstocks on it,

that they are the hybrid itself.

So, that takes care of that question.

- Right and we can bring in Mr. Tom on this because he has experience

with this, so do share.

- Well, the fact is like, when they do die back and they, I mean, you

can't hardly kill them.

They will come back and they will ultimately

produce, it might just be a little patient and also Celeste figs are

small anyway.

Hi, guys. Are you fine?

I was reading Mark and saw a very interesting verse

that came to my heart with great impact

and made me want to share it with you in this video

It is in Mark 8.38

"If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation

the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels." (NIV)

It is a very strong message that Jesus is telling to his disciples

and to all the other people who were with him at that moment

It made me think this way:

"Dude, why someone who knows the gospel, who knows Jesus,

would be ashamed of telling about Him

would be ashamed of telling about His message to other people?

Why are we frequently ashamed

of talking about the Good News to the people?"

And then I thought:

"Hey, what is the sense of being ashamed of that?"

But, at the same time,

I remembered of many times when I hesitated to do good.

Dude, what made me think a lot before doing good?

Why didn't I do good immediately?

Recently I saw a girl in the subway whose backpack was open

but it was clear she didn't notice it

So I thought:

Someone better warn this girl before either she loses something

or someone steals something from her

So, I better warn her about it and everything will be alright

However, I was like: do I warn her or don't? Do I do it or don't?

Thank God I finally warned that girl because if I didn't, I would feel really bad later

But why did I hesitate to do good?

You know why? We get used to bad things happening in the world, around us

wrong becomes so common

that we think that doing good it's not something really good to do

whereas thinking this way makes no sense, actually it is this thought that is wrong

we have to do good

because doing it we're making the difference

doing it, we're gonna show to the world there's still hope

we should be ashamed to do evil, not to do good

but we think like: "oh, I'm doing it wrong but it's ok because everybody does it this way."

It's not so, dude

If you want to help someone, help them! Don't lose this opportunity.

If you wan't to share love, share it! Don't lose this opportunity.

Don't be like most people, who avoid doing good because

Oh, what will so-and-so think of me?

But why when we do wrong things, it's ok, we don't think like this?

Jesus was not ashamed of paying a high price for me and for you.

Jesus was not ashamed of going through everything he went for me and for you

because He knew we were worth it

So we have to look at the people and notice they are worth it

It's worth doing good for people, you know?

Just do good and I'm sure you

will feel very good doing good

the king, it grieved him greatly and he was vexed at this thing, and his anger burned

king, saying, All that I have is in the king's power; whatever the king desireth to do to

his servant, that let him do, yea, even my son, he is in the king's power, without value

speak a word before thee, and let the king hear the word of his servant, and Terah said,

Let my king give me three days' time till I consider this matter within myself, and

consult with my family concerning the words of my king; and he pressed the king greatly

to agree to this.

you today this video is comprised of several mca women who are associates with

other word for it you know we are all of the same mca mindset we cheer each other on

we are grateful to just have this opportunity and these ladies are all

MCA for the past year and a half and I've had the ability to make over

it's been different I finally just took the leap of faith and said you know what

I'm gonna do it and I became a part of a really great

group of girls that motivate one another and I can honestly say that that has

helped me to be more confident in my own business promoting myself when I picked

back up MCA I literally fell in the hands of the most amazing women and I

wouldn't change it for the world so working from home is great because I get

to see my own beautiful face every day all day but aside from that you're never

alone you are never never never alone the training is awesome

the other associates are awesome they're always willing to give give give give

give MCA is one of the best decisions I've made in a very long time I see the

potential of being home with my kids they just started wrestling so I will be

doing wrestling season and I can still take my computer or my phone or whatever

with me to their matches or their practices and so they'll be able to work

while I am still active with them or I can just sit there and watch them I

don't have to be working the whole time that is the great opportunity of MCA is

being able to work when I want to work not when they boss tells me to work I

absolutely love working with MCA and it has brought so much more clarity in what

I decide to do with the rest of my life and given me a more direct approach in

dealing with online marketing you know you generally people is a rewarding

experience because you get to help so many and get them to understand and see

their potential that so many people lack you know I like the necessity of knowing

what my full potential was until I started with MCA and that's one thing

that I'm really glad I did team that we have is totally amazing

very supportive we are getting training unlike any other training I've ever had

in my network marketing career I mean they are giving you solid information

that is changing the trajectory of my entire business I am learning things

that I've never I didn't even know that these things existed and I'm getting

targeted leads and I'm getting paid for my referrals every single week it's not

even once a month and it's direct deposit right into my bank account and

the friendships that I've made just from the team that we have is totally amazing

I've had huge personal growth with it I feel more confident in myself I'm more

motivating self motivating and then I feel very comfortable motivating other

people too and I also think a little side note that a lot of that comes from

believing in the product I believe in MCA and I believe

they have to offer so I think that makes a big difference

what has stuck out the most so far are the benefits they start right away and

luckily they did because about a week after I became a member I had to call

them CA because the suspension on my vehicle went out and I need to be told

and the repairs had to be done at the dealership which is 60 miles away so

that would have been a lot of money out of my pocket and I do not have MCA so

I'm thankful for that because $20.00 a month I was able to get those benefits

and when the tow truck service came out I did not have to pay out of pocket I

did not have to be with the vehicle and they took their right on to the

dealership so I am very thankful for MCA doesn't it it helps you save money

compared to what the premiums are when insurances and my insurance really would

not cover that particular prescription because of the course of it you know and

it's like why do we have insurance if you can't music to cover our medication

bills or medication costs and having a well card on my my right hand you know

just to hand it to the pharmacist and they looked at okay you got a bigger

discount than expected you know really feel that you actually saved money

getting something that you actually need and knowing that this was like you know

a assess 'ti for me it was more or less a reward because I actually saved some

money in the process and it didn't have to be through insurance the benefits

that we get I have my Motor Club of America card here they give us this well

card which is awesome because that's included in the benefits okay in the

total security package you get this well card alright and these are glasses are

new and my daughter got eyeglasses too and we saved almost $800 on both pairs

of glasses I mean that's almost a thousand bucks

okay that in and of itself more than paid for what it costs me to get these

mca benefits you guys the best customer service ever like when i call i don't

know about anyone else but i always have a really really good experience whether

i have a question about the benefits or if i have a question about someone

looking to partner with me if i have any questions about being an associate

they're always very very pleasant and very on time I can rest assured knowing

that my customers are going to be in great hands if they break down on the

side of the road or if they lock their keys in their car right they have

someone in their corners you come to their rescue so two thumbs up for Motor

3 Things To Do Before A Client Shoot - Duration: 7:38.

and I'm editing video right now, and I just want to say I'm at my parent's house right now

Basically, I'm sorry for the lighting the side lighting.

But other than that I think the video should be really enjoyable so I hope you guys enjoy

Hey guys, so I just did two videos on you know living in the city

And how all my videos are gonna be very different because I'm living in the city, and now I'm

back at home

I don't know if you can tell.

Basically, I'm shooting a client video tomorrow

Locally back near my old house or where I am now, so I'm here for the night, so yeah

I just decided to use this opportunity

I had a shot set up

So why not talk to you guys and talk about three things to do before shooting with a

client so more specifically

Three things to do the night before like last-minute things to do

Before shooting and these are theories these aren't set in stone these are things

I haven't really put into action very much

But I'm going to from now on so I thought I'd share them with you and we can all test

them together

Alright, so number there is the obvious one, so we're just gonna get through it very quickly

so charge your batteries, clear your SD cards,

and revert all your settings back to what they usually are

or what you're going to be shooting with the next day when I'm

Shooting an action video like last week err like a few days ago

I'm shooting in 60fps right and then the shoot tomorrow

I need to be shooting 24, but I forgot to change that over and then I show up at the

shoot

And I just kind of get caught up with the client and get caught up in shooting

And then I realized I've been shooting in 60fps for 20 minutes and all of our shots

are in 60fps

It's just something that I very much recommend doing and that kind of leads into our next

point number two is set up

Everything like you're gonna be shooting the next day, so you have a shoulder mount

And you won't put your camera and you're going to be using this shoulder mount and this microphone

and this lens for the shoot tomorrow

Even if you've packed up all your stuff take it out quick

Set it all up like you're gonna be shooting put all the batteries in and just grab one

shot

Just one just do a test shot and make sure everything's working fine, and it takes about

twenty minutes or ten minutes of your time

depending on what your rig looks like

The night before, but it could save you like a whole shoot and make all the videos better

the next day

excuse me, so I would very much recommend doing that

so finally step number one

This is where the most 'businessy' of all the points so far

Because it really helps with

Client communication and getting more work in the future with them.

Just relating with them in general so basically the point is

Research what you're going to be shooting research the client and research everyone

you're gonna be with on set

So I'm gonna just quickly go into depth with that so

first of all researching the client can be helpful

Just because you want to make sure you know their name obviously you've probably met with

them

You've probably planned stuff out with them been in contact with them of course before

the shoot, but this is like last-minute things

Right, so just make sure you know their full name so you can address them properly

Make sure you know kind of what they've done.

What their background is

So you know like what hand they're gonna have in the shoot

and why they're doing it right so you can communicate with them properly

now speaking of communication

most important thing something that I

Really, wish I had done from early on is research what you're gonna be shooting.

So tomorrow I'm shooting a golf event, and the next day actually.

so I've been researching golf events online long drive events

basically

I try to learn a bit of the terminology learn kind of what goes into it

Learn what the cool moments are, like look at replays

So you know what the cool moments are like what people like from the sport.

You know instead of saying oh?

So should I get a shot with the guy hitting the ball with the stick from behind like?

Okay, that's I mean it's exaggerated, right?

But you get the point like you want to be able to communicate with them properly and

also if you know a bit about

What they're interested in, wanting a video for you're gonna relate to them a lot more.

And just being able to like talk with them about it

Helps with getting future work, relating to them

Yeah, honestly

Presenting yourself properly is really important or at least.

That's what is something.

I think is important yeah

I don't want to say I don't want to put anything definitive down here because that's something

I don't like about

Young a lot of young entrepreneur channels, I think everything they say is right, and

I don't think that's true

So I think this is something that you should do

So yeah knowing the client researching the client

Researching what you're gonna be shooting and finally researching everyone that's gonna

be there

I mean obviously, this might not be possible

So if you can't research beforehand when you're on set first thing you do introduce yourself

to everyone

Make sure your client or or alternatively make sure the client introduces you to them

And them to you just so you know the names of everyone because we've had a few things

Problems where we don't know the names of the people we're shooting like the actors

And so it was kind of hard to communicate with them, so it's like oh hey

Dude, can you go over there, and you know you want to address them by name basically

I could

Fold all of this whole number one point into

Be prepared, just research and be prepared

I think that's a very important thing and that's something that I'm gonna be doing a

lot more of going forward because it's

Because it shows a lot of professionalism

And it kind of takes away that that student look right that young person look

That's what I have to say about that those are my three things

I hope I explained that well if you have any other questions about that or you disagree

Tell me down below cuz honestly this stuff could be I mean I think it's it's not wrong

it can't be wrong
