How's it going, Tallmadge High School?
Welcome back to another episode of Tallmadge TV!
And just a quick reminder for those of you who don't know,
Tallmadge TV is now broadcasting every OTHER Monday rather than every SINGLE Monday.
So if you were scared that you missed last week's episode,
you didn't, because it doesn't exist.
Anyways, I'm Jerry Walsh...
...and I'm Danny Macchiarole...
...and I'm Mr. Srodowa, and this is Tallmadge TV!
Alright, let's begin today's show with the morning announcements.
MAN, that felt good to say without bad audio!
I'm sure it was, Jerry...Vaughn, take us to the morning announcements...
Mrs. Conway's weekly ACT review session will be focusing on the English portion of the test for this week.
The session is this Saturday, costs $25, and lasts from 8:00 AM to noon in Mrs. Conway's room.
Student Senate is hosting the THS Blood Drive on Friday, March 9th from 7:30 to 1:30.
Any seniors or parents of a senior who donate blood will also receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a car!
Also, if you are 16 years old and would like to donate,
please grab a permission form from Mrs. Blasko in room 1436.
And finally, FCA is hosting a bake sale to raise money for a child in Ethiopia that they sponsor.
You can buy some of their baked goods for 50 cents each this week,
from Tuesday, March 6th to Thursday, March 8th.

I think it's worth mentioning that the winter sports are almost over. Right, Jerry?
Yep. But that also means spring sports are right around the corner.
But for now, let's go to this week's sports report...
To start off the score report,
the wheelchair basketball team won their first game of two on Saturday,
and the boys and girls bowling teams each place third in their respective district tournaments,
meaning that both teams advance for the first time in school history!
Greay job, guys! Now, onto the schedule...
Coming up this week,
we've got the boys bowling team going to states on Friday,
and right next to them we have the girls bowling team who will also be going to states on Saturday.
This Saturday is also the day of the wheelchair basketball state tournament.

...we actually have a student submitted video clip this week from Darren Hudak!
That's right! Darren decided to dedicate his full court basketball shot to this here Tallmadge TV!

Alright guys, I guess you're wondering why I'm sitting here inside the shed
of the All 4 Adventure Headquarters or HQ as they say.
Well it's a rainy day outside, so I thought I'd come in and I'd answer a few questions.
We get truckloads of emails about every question you could imagine.
About 'what do I take on my next big trip?'
Right down to something about the thongs.
So I've got a laptop here in front of me, and I've got a heap of questions that people have asked.
And I'm gonna try and get through some of them.
And hopefully give you enough information so that you can use it on whatever it is that
you do and go out on your next big trip or whether you just go camping on the weekend
or whatever.
So I've got Darryl here.
G'day Darryl, if you're watching.
'G'day guys.
Could you assist a bloke in where to get the fuel bladder from in your boat?'
Ok, so no worries, Darryl.
The fuel bladder.
We have 200 liter fuel bladder. Where do I get it from?
I think it was a mob called Turtle-Pac.
The beauty of having a fuel bladder is, well I'll tell you what, you don't have to carry
a big 44-gallon drum.
So the 200 liter fuel bladder is the equivalent of a 44-gallon drum.
So when the fuel bladder is empty, and you've used all that fuel, you can just roll her
up, stick her up the front.
So it's a good thing, the old fuel bladder.
I remember using that a few years ago now.
I came up with the concept, and then we use it on every trip.
It's fuel that's the most important thing when you're in the boat, because you can get
the furthest with fuel.
You run out of fuel, you're goin' nowhere.
Don't forget the water as well... and the food.
Alright so what do we got here?
We've got another question...
Oh this is a cooking question from Peter.
Ok, Peter.
'Hi, I was watching the last episode of season 9, I think...'
You can't work it out yet, but I think he's right.
'You guys were cooking mud crabs on the open coals.'
So, yes, that was the last episode of season 9.
'And I was thinking of doing the same if I managed to get a couple of muddies.' He reckons.
'How long did you cook them on the coals for?'
All right, Peter.
How long do you cook the crabs on the coals?
Well depending on how big a mound of coals and how hot the coals are, generally when
I'm cooking crabs on the beach, we're using timber that doesn't get real overly hot and
burns really quickly.
So I would say around that five minute mark, they go red.
They start to bubble up.
>Oh they're simmering away, mate. Nice and tasty.
>They get that smoky flavor, ay, when you cook them like this.
You don't want to leave them on for too long, because it can sort of burn through,
and sort of burn the shell.
So the beauty of having the crabs cooked on the open fire or on the coals--don't cook
them on open fire, by the way, you need those coals--is you get that sort of smoky coal-y
sort of flavor through it.
It's a good way to cook them.
They're cooked in their own juices, and I'll tell you what, they taste as good as they look.
So there you go, Peter.
All right, so let's have a look down here as well.

Where did you get the knife Jase has in his cooking part and what brand is it?
I'd love to get one. Cheers.'
Well I'm just trying to remember what knife that is.
Well it was a knife, I actually picked it up from BCF.
It's one of those knives they got in the cabinet. You know the locked cabinet?
The one they don't give to you, because it's too dangerous.
So if you get down to BCF next, that's where you'll find that knife.
Now I don't know what's the particular brand on it.
No, I'd be guessing if I tell you, but go down to BCF and have a look in the locked
cabinet at your next BCF shop.

Josh. G'day, Josh, if you're listening.
'How many jerrycans do you need to cross the Simpson Desert?'
Well I don't know. How long's a piece of string? It will depend on a lot of things.
First thing I would do is try and cut down the amount of jerrycans you actually take.
Now it's a 500-kilometre journey depending on which track you do take
and depending on what you tow.
So we towed a large caravan behind the 200.
And Simon towed the Centurion behind the D-max.
Now I would go straight for a long-range tank.
Now the long-range tank we use is the Brown Davis long-range tank.
Very good tank, very kick-ass, strong and durable.
So if you have a long-range tank, you don't have to carry as many jerrycans.
Is it a 4-cylinder diesel? Is it a v8 Land Cruiser?
The trick is to find out what sort of fuel consumption your vehicle gets,
and I'm not talking about reading the one that you get in the book.
Forget about the book.
You've got to go and work it out by fueling your tank up, drive the kilometres, work out
how many kilometres. How many litres per 100 Ks? Do that sum first.
Now the 200 Series Land Cruiser can take huge amount of fuel when you put the long-range tank in it.
We're talking 263 or 268 litres.
I actually had just enough fuel when I got into Mount Dare, because I had to give Simon
some fuel because his long range tank in the D-max isn't as big, even though it's a four-cylinder.
But the second you tow something in the desert, you're gonna burn so much more fuel.
How much weight is in your vehicle?
You've got to carry fuel, water, all those things.
So we had about two jerrycans on the caravan, and then we had another two jerrycans, I think,
we chucked in the Centurion.
And there was another two jerrycans sitting on the roof of the camera truck.
Don't forget there was a camera truck in that Simpson crossing, and he wasn't towing anything.
But he still needed to carry that extra fuel.
So that gives you a bit of an idea.
Four cylinder diesel okay.
But at the end of the day, if you're gonna cross the Simpson Desert, do a little bit of research.
There's a fair bit information out there and maybe watch the episodes of All 4 Adventure
when we cruised across the Simpson.
And check it out.
Well that's all we've got time for at the moment.

First, please tell us the secret for the dance!
When we talk about BTS, it's the perfect dance choreography with no flaws.
Is there anything you pay more attention?
JH: The practice hours are really long.
JH:All the members have have strong wills for the stage performances.
JH: In order to make great stages, we really work hard.
How long do you practice in a day when it's long?
JH: For now... JM: 8 hours?
8 hours, yes.
Amazing...
How do you feel when the practice is over?
JH: Ah~~~~~~~~~~
JH: I don't want to do anything...
JH: Ah~~~~~~~~ I am so tired~~~~~~~
But this J-HOPE is known for memorizing the dance choreography the fastest!
JM: The dance for the final cut of DNA is really difficult.
JM: So we all took about 4 hours, but for nii-san, it only took about 10 minutes.
Whah~~~~~????
10 minutes?
JM: Yes.
JH: He is exaggerating a little.
The dance is this part!
It's a surprising that he memorized this in such a short time!
J-HOPE also teaches the members the dance!
JM: Our dance leader!

What does dance mean to BTS?
JH: Before debut, we never expected to get acknowledged or praised with dance.
JH: We feel that we received the spotlight as a result of our efforts.
JM: We feel that we can express our music and feelings through dance too.
JM: When we combine the two elements, better synergy is created.

Do you have any secret or behind the scenes of BTS?
On our recent show, we played a twister game.
I played with J-HOPE.
We got into a lot of positions and J-HOPE's butt was pressing my face.
Like his thighs too.
Really, his face was right in the middle.
Weren't you pressing your face against his?
No no, we were like....this.
Yes. They were really soft.
We didn't ask you that far!

What is your least favorite food?
We could get curious about what food they don't like as a super star!
JM: For me, it's seaweed.
JM: I am okay with seaweed soup but not the raw seaweed.
It smells too fishy.
JM: I am sorry.. I am a bit like a child.
What is J-HOPE's least favorite thing?
JM: bugs, bugs.
JH: For me, it's a bug.
JH: I hate insects.
Which insect do you hate the most?
JH: Cockroach.
JH: Cockroaches are just... whoo...
Their real faces behind the cool performances are pretty charming!
The next is rather a deep question!
When you take a bath, which body part do you wash first?
Are you really going to ask them?
JH: Wow.
JH: I wash from my hair.
JH: Yes, from the top.
JM: I wash from the top too.
JM: Hair, face, body
JM: When I wash my hair, the water goes downward.
JM: If the water goes down after washing the body,
JM: I would feel uncomfortable as if I have to wash again.
So I wash from the top.
JH: I admit that. I admit.
From the two amazing members who answer any question, they have a message for teenagers!
JH: Yes, all the teenagers!
JH: It's a phase you go through with a lot of struggles.
JH: But it's a good thing.
JH: Don't worry and believe in yourself.

JM: When I was a teenager, it was the most shining moments of my life.
