Yeah I know I already have 2 videos about my cats But I just love cats okay?

They are so cool! Like...

Look at him :3 he's like a tiny tiger

But yeah we have 2 cats, the older one is Dezső

He's a male... well... not exactly anymore.

When I was younger I was told that we can have a cat!

And my parents let me choose because there were 4 cats born at my grandparents

Well, you know what they say? You don't choose them, they choose you!

And that's exactly what happened! He chose me!

And what's really cool about cats is that you have to build reputation with them.

having a cat is more like having a small human who can't speak

Which means you just have to treat them well,

Don't disturb them when they don't feel like it, and even if they love you...

They don't always feel like they need any petting.

They let you know that with a very small bite.

This cat really likes hunting for flies

Somtimes when a fly really annoys me I try to get rid of it but

instead I let my cat do the dirty job

Dezső! I choose you!

Also this cat goes crazy anytime I give him treats.

Which made me a little worried.

For a while I thought there might be some material in some of them that's very addictive for cats

but I was wrong because my other cat doesn't really care about treats at all.

Sometimes she doesn't even eat them.

He is just that crazy over treats!

By the way yeah she is a she (well not exactly anymore)

By that I mean they cannot have kids.

She's called Mici, she can actually play catch!

Yeah! :D She brings it back too!

She is also the very awkward type.

Anytime we have guests , this guy is around them trying to be in the middle of all attention

While Mici's just hiding on top of a ladder the entire time.

She just comes down to eat or go to the toilet,

And nobody does anything bad to her

So time to hide on the ladder again!

I have no idea why she does that because nobody ever hurts her or anything.

but it's fine if she just needs time to get comfortable with new people.

Or more like... new giants! Who they never seen!

And many times taller than them!

Actually... I get it now

But also anytime she sees a stranger at the gate, or a big vehicle

She's growling! *growls*

*laugh* I'm sorry but that's just so adorable :3 *growls*

Aw don't worry, it's okay!

*growling intensifies*

Sometimes they don't like eachother

Or they do things that they aren't allowed to.

And they know it because anytime someone sees them try to disappear.

But that is why waterspray is invented right?

To train cats!

Stop right there!

NO! Don't do it!

*watersprays*

After all theese years of having cats,

we slowly learn to read their feelings

They don't have to say anything and we can already tell how they feel. Or what they want.

An interesting thing I've noticed about them is that during the winter they obiviously like to be inside more

So they ask out to go to the outside litterbox

*scratch*

And then they immediately ask to get inside

Because if they can, they don't want to smell bad smell either!

But in the summer, they go to the inside litterbox because they like to be outside more.

So they leave the bad smell for us inside. Thoose little jerks!

But we love them :3

I just hate it when I'm trying to record voice and they start rolling balls all around the floor.

*loud ball rolling*

I prefer to be home alone while recording so...

YES! I am home alone so I can finally record in peace!

And the cats knew it.

So they just had to slam everything to my door while I'm recording.

But remember what I told you about building a reputation with them?

I couldn't tell them not to do that!

Because they were just playing! They did nothing wrong.

So I just had to deal with it and do enough retakes so hopefully one of them won't have a ball getting slammed to my door sound ruining it.

I mentioned this in the last episode but they really...

Like.. REALLY love sitting in boxes.

They love it so much they sit in every box they don't even fit into.

As a cat owner I can tell you that if you have a cat,

Place a box somewhere in the house... and the cat will be there!

It's like a cat-trap!

But having cats isn't just fun and all, it's a huge responsibility as owning any pet.

For example when they feel like throwing up,

they make sure it's on a rug...

Also rip furnitures and black clothes.

At least you can give them a scratching log so they won't go as crazy on scratching furnitures.

And thankfully, the unbeliveable high tech gadget...

Called the fur removal tool

Exists! It's like..

Is that? Is THAT?! FUR!??!

Superhero: Not anymore!

Gentleman: Thank you sir, you saved me million dollar suit!

But still, even with fur-man around, anytime you sit down or lay down anywhere,

this will happen anyway

and they will scratch furnitures when you leave them alone anyway.

Yeah, cat's are jerks.

But that's what makes them so entertaining!

Having a cat makes every day less boring because they always do something funny,

adorable,

annoying....,

or stupid! :3

You can never know which one they are going to do next!

Just make sure you have a camera, because the internet loves cats!

It is perfectly normal that human beings have feelings and thoughts.. Okay camera

is set, ready to go. What was my line again? Okay okay okay get out of my head now!

The point is journaling is like spring cleaning for your mind.

So here's five reasons why you need to start writing a journal today

First of all, you will have an outlet for your emotions.

It is perfectly natural to have thoughts and feelings, which you would not share

with friends or even family. However, sometimes these thoughts need to be

expressed. Grabbing a piece of paper and throwing your emotions on it can

actually have the same effect as expressing them out loud.

Processing emotionally difficult events is also much easier when you use writing

as an emotional outlet. After a traumatic experience people who used writing to

express their feelings and thoughts saw the positive effects not only with their

mental but also their physical health. Emotions are powerful and they need to

get out one way or another. Secondly writing into a journal will make you

less stressed and more creative. Research shows that writing for as little as 15

This game was made by lots of people - music arrangers, the dev team, a lot of people who worked on the original game

As it started to take shape, everyone began to remember doing the same thing with the original

They all got really excited and started say, "Oh yeah, it was like this! No, not like that, like this!"

So I think in that sense, it's something that can really be enjoyed by people who played the original

and players who are coming into it for the first time as well.

I hope everyone will be looking forward to playing what is, I think, a quality game with a low barrier to entry.

Secret of Mana was originally released in 1993, and kids back then played and enjoyed it.

This is just my opinion, but I think kids are kids, no matter the era.

Time moves on and culture may change, but kids…

their awareness, their curiosity and their sense of excitement doesn't change.

So if a game is good, I really think kids nowadays will enjoy it now just as much.

And perhaps even the kids of the future will enjoy it.

If a game becomes a part of culture, I think that's what happens.

Games made in the past stay relevant and enjoyable.

In that sense, I think making this remake might be part of the movement towards this game being a part of culture.

The people who played it back in 1993 when it was originally released still love it and want it to be available again for all the world to play.

The fact that they want it to continue on into the future… that in and of itself makes me really happy.

I think that's true of not just Japan, but lots of countries.

In particular, this time the game is really being released world-wide, and I've had a chance to talk to a lot of people from a lot of places.

A lot of them told me they'd played it and were looking forward to the remake.

Yeah, I don't think it's just to do with a period in time or even a country… That's kids for you.

The love that they had for the game is still alive today - to the extent that it's being remade -

and nothing would make me happier than this being carried on to the kids of the future.

I hope that my role in creating this has contributed to leaving behind something memorable.

All I can really say is thank you.

At this point in time, the kids who originally played the game are now old enough to be making it,

and when the next generation grows up, I hope they'll be influenced by their experiences and memories of this game,

and I hope they'll bring those opinions to the table in order to help create something new.

Finding an Accessible Hotel (Some Aren't Accessible Enough) - Duration: 4:49.

Hi, I'm Kristin with ALS 411 on handicapped accessibility and hotels.

So our kids really wanted to go on a spring break vacation, and they wanted our whole

family to go, which is a daunting task when you're dealing with ALS and paralysis.

But we did it.

Success.

We drove seven hours to Minneapolis, and we stayed at a hotel.

Finding a hotel that would work for us was a challenge.

I called maybe half a dozen places and asked some basic questions.

How wide the bathroom door was.

If there would be room underneath the bed for a Hoyer.

If there was space to turn a Hoyer.

And at the Residence Inn in Bloomington near the Mall of America in Minneapolis, the manager

was so kind to take measurements and to send me photos and so I could know going into it

that this hotel would work for us.

There were many places that would not work.

The handicapped accessible rooms do not necessarily have the space to navigate a Hoyer into the

bathroom or room for a Hoyer under a bed.

So that's something we need to check out ahead of time.

Not all hotel beds are created equal.

There are many hotel bed that have a platform base on the floor, and they don't easily raise

up to fit a Hoyer underneath.

We have in the past when traveling to an ALS clinic brought blocks and got those to go

underneath the platform bed.

But honestly, it seemed a little precarious.

This was much better, and the hotel did all the work.

Got everything ready for us.

There was enough room to maneuver a Hoyer in front of the bed, and enough room to fit

the Hoyer underneath the bed.

When we got Todd into the bed the first night, we couldn't get the Hoyer out though because

the bed sank down into the carpet.

But the hotel was kind enough to provide bed risers.

And so it lifted up so there was plenty of room underneath.

The Hoyer!

Big thank you to the ALSA Minnesota chapter.

They were able to provide us a Hoyer and have it delivered to the hotel.

And the hotel again was kind enough to accept it and store it for us ahead of time, and

then store it until they can pick it up after our departure.

The bathroom door was wide enough to maneuver a Hoyer through, and there was room for a

Hoyer on either side of the toilet.

It's also a straight shot.

I've been in accessible rooms that have a curve to get to the toilet.

You have to turn a corner, and it makes it a lot more challenging.

This one worked beautifully.

We stayed in a suite, which was very nice.

The center had a kitchen/living room area, and our caregiver was able to sit there at

night and then hear Todd who was in one of the bedrooms when he needed to be turned because

he requires twenty-four hour care now.

And then the kids and I slept in the other bedroom.

The Residence Inn had two handicap accessible suites available.

The one that we were in had a roll-in shower, which we didn't use because we didn't bring

a shower chair.

We were just there for a few days.

It was a challenge to be away from our equipment.

We were glad to get home to our overhead lift.

But it went as smoothly as we could have hoped.

And the kids had a ton of fun.

It was really fun to go to the Mall of America, because the mall is so handicap accessible.

There's a lot of great food, and the amusement park.

And as Todd and I were sitting there, watching the kids get in line and get on a ride, I

was just struck with the sense of normalcy, which was so nice, because we were sitting

there like all the other parents, just waiting.

And it was beautiful.

The kids had a blast.

Now we were there during spring break, so it was a bit of a zoo, and the elevators were

crowded.

If we were to go again, we'd probably go at a time when it wasn't so busy.

We also went to the aquarium, which the kids loved.

It was like driving in rush hour traffic for me with maneuvering the wheelchair and a wall

of people.

But overall a great trip.

How to Color with an Aqua Painter - Duration: 4:06.

Welcome to this episode of Ink It Up with Jessica TV. I'm Jessica Taylor and

in this video I'm going to show you how to color with your aqua painters on

pre-printed designer series paper with your classic dye inks. I'm starting with

a pre-printed designer series paper. This is from the Petal Passion pack from

Stampin' Up! so the paper just comes black and white and it's perfect for coloring

on. That way you can use it with any of your different colors of cardstock. So

today I'm going to show you how to color it with your aqua painter and a Classic

Stampin' Pad which is a dye ink. So first you're going to want to put a little bit of

water in your Aqua Painter and I don't like to have it full, I like to have just

a little bit in there so I don't get too messy and you'll want a scratch piece of

paper that you can wipe your aqua Painter off on and a Classic Stampin' Pad

like I said. To get some ink in the lid of your ink pad you want to just squeeze

the lid down, kind of squeeze your ink pad together first, so that when you open

it you'll see that there is ink pooled in the lid and that's the ink I'm going

to use to color. So I'm just going to give my Aqua Painter a tiny squeeze to get a

little bit of water down in the brush and then I'll pick up some of that ink

and use it to color on my flowers. Now I'm not going to be real exact, I'm just

going to kind of lay down some color and you can come back and add more but if

you go too dark it's harder to take away so it's better to go a little bit

on the lighter side then to do it too dark. But I'm just going to go ahead and

color in all of the flowers this way.

Once you're done coloring all of your flowers you're just going to run your Aqua

Painter on your scratch paper until you get all the color out of it. So just run

it till it's clear and then you can switch to the green color for the leaves.

I don't know if I mentioned, but I used Berry Burst for my flowers and I'm going

to use Lemon Lime Twist for my leaves. So again I'm going to just squeeze my ink

pad together to get that ink pooled in the lid and then I'll just pick up some

of that ink and color in my leaves. If you find that you need a little more

water you just need to squeeze your Aqua Painter just a tiny bit.

When you're done coloring everything just be sure to wipe off your Aqua

Painter until it's clear again so that it's ready it to use for the next time.

Also, when you're storing your Aqua Painter you want to store it up so that

any water is stored down here and not falling down into the brush of the Aqua

Painter while you're storing it. So always store it up like this. For this

card once my flowers were dry I added a little bit of Wink of Stella. This is a

glitter brush so I added these just to the flowers and this just adds a little

bit of glitter, a little extra shimmer and shine. So to put this card together

I used a Berry Burst card base, this is a finished size of four and a quarter by

five and a half so it's just eight and a half by five and a half paper folded in

half. My Basic Black card piece is three and a quarter inches by four and a

quarter inches and this flower piece is three by four inches. Then I just added

my circle greeting with dimensionals on top of that. So if you would like to make

12 of this card out of one sheet of 12 by 12 paper you're going to want to

watch my Quick Cards from 12x12 paper video for how to do that.

It's really quick and easy and a great way to use up your 12 by 12 paper to

How to help an LGBT refugee in Canada: be a friend - Duration: 1:38.

There's one thing I've noticed with refugees

is that they feel the complete disconnect

because they're not yet used to

the new environment,

so they feel a little bit lost.

If you have the possibility of

being an organization

who has like a volunteer, like a

buddy system, that would be great.

Bring them where they need to go.

They need to see a doctor at some point,

they need to go to an office somewhere,

they need to find a lawyer

for the first time,

they need to go to social services.

So as you can see there's numerous

things they need to get organized

and they need help.

Take a newcomer to the local library

It might seem small but having

a library card and [being] able to

go to the library on your own

gives a newcomer a

feeling of independence,

it empowers them.

They'd be able to get books

they'd be able to go on the computers

you know and that's very empowering

because they'll be able to

look for work and

you know work on their resume.

They'd be able to communicate

emails through various appointments

that they have with other

agencies and service providers

that they're working with.

They can communicate with their family

back home.

Be a buddy or a mentor.

If you met a refugee or some refugees,

bring them out to you, they need

to go out and experience the village

they need to experience the

the events and what's going on

in the LGBT community.

Remember, most of you

you had a friend that brought you out

for the first time,

it's the same thing for them.

A Bioethicist and Artist Paints the Disabling Effects of Colonialism - Duration: 3:24.

Part of the reason why I started using images as educational tools was because, so when

you're a student and you're studying, you literally have to read thousands of articles.

And unfortunately, colonialism is a very small part of their educational process.

So, what I wanted to do was create something that had staying power.

So I'm painting and writing an arts-based thesis that critiques the medical model and

offer a Dene aspect of wellness, which is much wider.

It's the notion of actually interacting with land.

So it can be actually just mentally, interacting with land and it also can be different aspects

of movement, for instance, my father had polio.

So he would be considered an individual with a mobility impairment, but within the context

of Dene culture, he was a man with a movement difference.

I started painting three and a half years ago and it was something that happened just

out of necessity.

I had a difficult time articulating what bioethics was from a Dene perspective, so I was able

to draw these bioethical conundrums to create a conversation from those paintings.

I think because the painting came so quickly and was such force it was something that

I had come with in my body, it was, some elders will refer to it as original instructions,

but it was a very, very powerful force.

So I don't even feel like it belongs to me at times because it doesn't really belong

to me, it's a translation of ancestral knowledge that is literally thousands of years old.

I have various objects that I use often in my images.

I create original flowers for each image.

But I also transplant flowers from image to image, as well, because we share knowledge

systems.

So, I transfer flowers between my father and my daughter and myself, often.

I use a black background because black is the most aggressive colour on the palette,

and as Indigenous people we are weighed down by Canada's dark, colonial history.

But I paint the bright flowers and the bright strawberries on top of the black background

to show that we are resilient, that culture will never die.

And the flowers and the strawberries are as bright and beautiful as we are as people.

We carry this very, this very painful history.

So myself, coming from generations of residential school survivors, being a Sixties Scoop survivor

myself, we want to share enough information to inspire change.

We want to share enough information to be truthful, and to be authentic, so people will

understand how real colonialism is, and that it's ongoing.

But we must always respect our family and not reveal too much of the indignities that

they have suffered.
