Here we have a little timeline about Ecuador, America and the World
It is showing us what was happening
And here is the Spanish period
The story of Ecuador, the history of this land is very hard and full of events
At first tribes were living there.
And they were fighting with each other
Incas came to that places only in the middle of XV century
After 70 years of their ruling the Spanish came
And they conquered the land
That was a large territory including Ecuador and Peru
Spanish conquered it all and they were ruling from Spain
We had a vice royalty and country was under control
Then we go through the process of independence
Whole Latin America
Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia
Our revolution. We kicked out the Spanish
And after this we are going to the time of revolutions in all Latin America
It was a big process
Cuba is getting free here
And then we had military dictatorships
And only in 1980-s we became democratic countries
In the beginning of XIX century rebels in Quito decided to displace Spanish
And the whole revolution began in Latin America
Cuba, for example, was one of the last countries getting independence
In the end of XIX century
Then the time for dictators came
They were taking the power in every country
Ruling for some period of time.
And in Ecuador it was the same
Country was very corrupted
People were kicking out one president after another
The situation stayed the same during whole XX century
For example, in Chile we had one of the biggest dictators ever - Pinochet
Most of you know about him probably
A lot of people died during their ruling
And also, Ecuador had two wars with Peru
It was in 1942. And they lost their territory
The way to democracy was very hard. And it wasn't easy for the country to
And the whole Latin America, I think, to developed this political system when everyone can vote

Democracy is a part of our life.
So now we have a special episode dedicated to it
I am going to vote now, the government decided to ask seven questions so the people can decide what they want
The president asks the whole nation to go to vote, they wanted to change the constitution and answer 7 questions
Seven "yes" or "no". The questions were dedicated to some problems for example
Ecological problems related to oil, to mining, also children's abuse, corruption
In this case I was one of the citizens that needed to vote because is mandatory in our country, it was kind of a duty for me
As we see we have a school, here we put tables for people to come and vote
During the whole day from 7 am until 5 pm.
Here youã see it is early, 8 am and a lot of people coming here. Let's vote! 0:04:42.100,0:04:47.030 As you probably know in March we had election in Russia. We were voting for president
And I found out that there are a lot of similar things between our elections

In both countries people go to elections in schools

In Russia we are going to the Gym and there we are taking the paper and voting, all the people.
Everyone is voting in one place. In Ecuador?
No, in Ecuador we have the election in the school but every classroom has a different amount of people that needs to go
According to the last name and also gender. Female and male according to the list they can see where to go to vote
They are voting different? like in the toilets, man and women
Yes, like in toilets! Men, women separate!
We do not mix. No toilets for both of them.
For you to know where to go you need to take a look at this information chart
Here you have a number of the table and you have the gender either if female or male and then you see last names.
It is going from this last name to this other in alphabetical order
Every time we vote for anything, it could be for president, mayor
they give us a certificate of assistance because it is mandatory
This little paper will allow you to do any kind of process, it is the kind of documentation that you need
For example, we have ID and Ià you want to go to the bank and ask for something you will need ID and this certificate
It is very important, you cannot lose it
In my case I needed to take a new one because I was out of the country and I missed some elections
I also had a penalty because I did not assist but if you are out of your country you can also vote in any embassy
I am ready with my ID and this is the document of the last election
I am going out to find my name and vote
So, in Ecuador everyone needs to go to election? You cannot just sit home and drink beer and not to go
No, and we cannot definitely drink
Because we have a law that we call it "Ley Seca", It is like "Dry law"
And actually, you cannot drink 48 hours before election
Because you need to be like, sober, for making these kind of decisions, it is really important
And yes, it is mandatory, you cannot miss it.

This is a metallic one, it is very old, and this is from last year 2017. It is pretty new.
It is a petty but we cannot film inside this place for voting, it is prohibited. But we will tell you what was there
I was inside and we first sign a document of your assistance and then they give you this big paper.
It was about this big, really big.
With two options. "Yes" or "No"
Every question with every article of the constitution. How It is and how It is going to be
And that was it! You needed to put "Yes" or "No", whatever you decided, folded and put in the urn
That was it! And then they give you the paper, this certificate that you voted
Another one! They are taking the old one
Yes, they are taking the old one and giving you a new one, so this new one is going to work from now on until next election
So that was the process
So, they gave me a paper, a big one with the seven questions and in the backwards the changes in the constitution
After it, it put already my vote and I got the new paper that is the certificate that I voted here

How To Grow A Kiwi Tree or Vine From Seed - 23 Months - Duration: 4:35.
hey everyone its Rob the backyard gardenerr here and I know a lot of you
been asking about my Kiwi series they were sown on May 3rd 2016 so they're
just about 23 months old I was trying to hold off a little bit longer to show you
how they're doing because to be honest with you they just started breaking
their buds about a week ago but since everyone's curious to see how they're
doing I figured I would shoot this quick video just showing where they're at
let's get this camera flipped around and check out these Kiwi trees grown from
seed alright guys I thought I'd start with this video with the two that I
originally planted in this little planners box right here you can see
they're just starting to break their buds on this one he gets less Sun than
the other ones so they're just starting to come
together here this is not the most proper setup for Kiwis you can see I
have them all intertwine in these and they're just gonna probably keep growing
and break these things apart but this was my first set and I didn't know what
I wanted to do with them and anyway I just want to give you an update on this
one let me go and take you to the other side of the yard where I have a whole
bunch more all right you guys remember over here put a whole bunch of Kiwis
down here and if you look there's a lot of branches and Trunks and bases down
here and just look at all of the leaves that are coming in on these guys and
they're so pretty they get these uh maroon leaves and then they turn bright
green and they get really big these are all young right now we've got him
literally climbing here and we've got a ladybug friend and this one I'm going to
wrap around this side of the yard as well but you can clearly see how much
foliage is getting it on these so these guys are now 23 months old here in a
couple of days so it's not quite two years yet but they're doing fantastic
and then we've got the one I've been trying to train here with my grapevines
and this is the one I want to try to really work on getting it solid trunk on
and he's starting to stretch as well I'm gonna keep shaping this guy topping this
guy as much as possible the idea is we'll grow a fat trunk till about the
six foot mark and then we'll hang wire both ways and we'll let him spread out a
canopy but ya doing fantastic I just want to give you guys a quick update
there's not a whole bunch to look at but I wanted you guys to know where they're
at since I had a lot of people asking about him and yeah doing well we got one
more to show you this one's in my greenhouse if you will and we're doing
the same thing on this one we're working on getting his trunk fattened up and
keeping him as straight as possible the top part died from the frost but that's
not uncommon it was new growth last year and so he's just now starting to break
his buds as well we've got quite a few Kiwis I get a lot of questions about
whether or not they're female or male and I'll tell you grow all from seed you
don't really know the majority of them are gonna be a whole bunch of females
and you'll need at least one male for every ten plants so I'm hoping since
I've got about eight over here that either one of these the one in the
greenhouse one over there the two on the other side of the yard hoping that one
of them is going to end up flowering to pay well there you have it everyone
that's my Kiwis grown from seed at 23 months we'll probably get you a lot
better update here in the next month when they hit two years and they put on
a lot of foliage no flowers this year most likely for these guys they've got a
they've got several more years to tell you the truth probably two to four more
years before we gonna get a chance at flowers but amazingly enough if you're
following my apple tree series my twenty seven month old apple tree is flowering

Here's are the rules.
I rate all the SpongeBob episodes of one season one of these ratings depending on the episode
and give each a 10 or less word sentence.
You will notice that the rating system has changed and thanks to Colli Reviews for requesting
me to change it.
Basically, if you're wondering about the last 3 seasons, all the top 5 fives and honorable
mentions were great, while the rest of the good episodes were good, same with meh, and
bad, as pre-movie SpongeBob didn't give me any boo material to work with to be honest.
And please don't call me a hypocrite if a meh episode from this season is worse than
those of previous seasons.
It was one of my bigger problems in those videos and I will look forward to make this
project's ratings be as unbiased and unrelated to the season or anything but the overall
quality of the episode in comparison to the others.
It might be hard to understand, but you'll get it as we go farther into this project.

It brought in two arch rivals: Krabs and Plankton.
Plankton fakes being hurt in the Krusty Krab and taking Krabs to court.
Both characters react differently.
Krabs takes it greedily as always and Plankton reacts like an evil genius would.
The comedy is hilarious and I just love these episodes in court, they are my fav!
#4: Fear Of A Krabby Patty This was the first episode of the season,
and man is it funny!
The first thing I think of when I hear this episode is the comedy.
Peter Lankton.
SpongeBob calling Plankton a shrink.
Plankton getting ransacked by pianos.
Tomato-tomatoe.
Potato-potatoe.
The loud and obnoxious ringtone.
So much to admire!
I also think Plankton's plan for one is very clever and well thought out.
It is very detailed and not too season 6 Plankton schemes.
Overall a very well made, fun and very very hilarious episode!
#3: Mrs. Puff You're Fired Wow!
What is not to like about this one?
It's got the best character trope in SpongeBob in my opinion: the mean teacher guy!
Which is later brought back in episodes like Inmates of Summer or even License to Milkshake.
It is very funny, very entertaining and has a lot of fun moments and events.
The plot is original and very fun!
Great in total!
2: Krusty Towers Hello!
Welcome to SpongeBob season 4!
Forget that this is completely random and out of nowhere, this is the start of the video!
This season is home to some very interesting stuff!
Fear of A Krabby Patty, Wigstruck, Have You Seen This Snail, The Thing, Krusty Towers,
oh yeah, that one.
Number 2 is Krusty Towers!
And I'll tell you why!
It's funny, original, classic, fair, memorable, great plot, likable and bouncing characters,
yay!
Golden Ep: Dunces and Dragons What an episode!
What a frickin' episode!
This is the best episode of season 4!
The plot is awesome, well-paced and extremely well conducted.
The characters are actually pretty interesting.
Very cool hybrids of the actual cast, and very extended personalities to jump up and
down eachother.
The comedy is also very funny, of the comedy there is.
The dialogue is very good and same goes for the songs!
My personal favorite was Squidly's song against King Krabs.
So yeah, a pretty great episode!
Bottom 5: #5: Wigstruck
This episode is just…ew!
It is very gross the way they show wigs and their germs, even if it is kinda true.
The motivations are weak and the worse thing is honestly the characters!
From the Needlefish, to the Bikini Bottomites, it's so frustrating!
#4: The Thing This one is debatable.
It's definitely not blatantly blowing up Squidward's house in front of his face or
anything, but the tone of obliviousness from SpongeBob and Patrick is unbearable and very
irritating.
I don't know why they decide to go to Squidward specifically either, but the writers love
that character SO much that I guess anything is possible.
#3: Squidtastic Voyage Remember the blatant thing I mentioned earlier?
Well, this episode is the definition of blatantly torturing Squidward.
Really, these writers can get TALENTED at times.
They put SpongeBob and Patrick into Squidward's body, torture Squidward by giving him the
information in the worst way possible, and it has the nerve to do a smart Patrick joke.
And did I mention how much I hate Patrick?
Because I really hate Patrick!
Like, I don't think you heard me when I said I hate Patrick!
He screws up everything, including that horrible ending.
#2: Squid Wood What do I say for this one?
It is irritating, frustrating, annoying, angering, exasperating, infuriating and whatever synonyms
fit there.
And that is the only thing I found when I searched it in the dictionary, so moving on.
Rotten Ep: Good Neighbors What a rotten episode indeed.
Many people say that this is the first bad episode or first Squidward torture episode
or whatever, and I beg to differ.
But that's not to say it's not atrocious!
The problem with Good Neighbors is the limits it will go to to show you Squidward's pain
and misery.
I won't go too into detail, but yeah!
Those were my raw thoughts!
Alright, you know the drill, let's get into the stats!
We had 38 episodes, 36 eleven and 2 twenty-two minute episodes!
We've got 6 greats, 15 goods, 10 mehs, 2 bads and 5 boos.
You can see that less than half of the majority of the episodes are good, and more than 65%
is good and meh.
And if we split meh into 5 and 5, and add great, good and meh versus meh, bad and boo,
we see that clearly the better half has the advantage in terms of stats.
So, this is a light good, but close to meh season.
Do I agree with the stats?
Yes.
It was definitely one of the most debatable seasons up there with seasons 5, 8 and 9.
It was definitely mixed in good and bad episodes, going from Dunces and Dragons, to Good Neighbors,
and was absolutely a big jump from season 3.

How to Avoid Buying a Used Uber or Lyft Car - Duration: 6:43.
Vehicles used for ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft can get a lot of wear and tear—often
in ways that are different from what is found in a typical used car.
And CR found that when they're done ferrying passengers, former ride-share cars can end
up for sale without any warning to would-be buyers.
Even vehicle history reports designed to let shoppers know about crashes or other damage
are often left in the dark.
Still, there are ways for you to avoid getting a car that's been used—or abused—as
a ride-share vehicle.
Ride-Share Wear and Tear CR checked the Carfax vehicle history report
for a 2015 Ford Explorer we requested using the Lyft app in the Boston area, as well as
one for a 2015 Hyundai Elantra requested for an UberX ride in San Francisco.
Even though both are being used for ride-sharing, their Carfax reports show them as privately
owned, not commercial vehicles or taxis.
If those vehicles are put up for sale, potential buyers will be unaware of their prior use.That's
not a mistake, according to Carfax spokesman Chris Basso.
"Personally registered ride-share vehicles, for companies like Uber and Lyft, currently
only show as personal use on Carfax," he wrote in an email to CR.
But some signs of abuse are immediately apparent to would-be buyers.
Passengers can put excess wear and tear on vehicle interiors by getting sick, breaking
off plastic trim pieces, and leaving stains on the upholstery, according to driver postings
at ride-share forums, such as uberpeople.net and ridesharecentral.com.
"It's not their car, so they're not super careful with it," says Harry Campbell,
who runs the website therideshareguy.com and conducts an independent annual survey of ride-share
drivers.
Other issues are less obvious.
A used car with a big discount for high mileage might be a good deal if it's been used by
a single owner for long, gentle highway commutes.
But if those miles were racked up as an Uber or Lyft, it might have endured a lot of abusive
stop-and-go driving and extensive idling that could lead to costly repairs for the next
owner.
In some cases, an automaker may even void some of a vehicle's warranty protections
if it determines that a vehicle was used for ride-sharing, according to Mel Yu, automotive
analyst at Consumer Reports.What You Should Look For
Check a vehicle history report to see if a lot of miles were put on during a short period
of time and if there are any accidents on file.
"If you see 50,000 miles in one year, that's a pretty big red flag that it was owned by
an Uber or Lyft driver," said Campbell.
Check the rear seat for excess wear and tear.
Look for airport permits.
Many airports require ride-share vehicles to display a visible permit.
Look for residue from stickers.
Depending on location, Uber and Lyft vehicles usually have a large sticker on the front
and/or rear windshields, and these often leave a trace behind.
The stickers are usually much larger than a parking permit.
What You Should Do If you see any ride-share telltales, ask the
seller how the car was used.
If a vehicle is still under warranty, call the manufacturer—not a dealer—to ask how
many years and/or miles of coverage remain.
Be sure to have the vehicle's vehicle identification number (VIN) handy.
And, of course, shoppers should make sure that any used vehicle is inspected by an independent
mechanic before deciding whether to buy it.
This would unearth any wear and tear to mechanical components, and even accident repairs, that
might not otherwise be apparent.
Of course, not every former ride-share car is a bad deal, and buyers should understand
that some such vehicles take more abuse than others.
Uber estimates that half of its drivers use the company's app to find riders for fewer
than 10 hours per week.
That kind of occasional ride-share use may not wear out a vehicle as quickly as full-time
ride-share (or taxi) use.
Incomplete History Advocates say consumers need more—and better—information
about the history of any used vehicle.
"Ride-share vehicles are now part of a larger problem, where consumers don't have what they
need to make informed decisions about used cars," said David Friedman, director of
cars and product policy and analysis for Consumers Union, the advocacy division of Consumer Reports.
"From ride-sharing to cars with flood or crash damage, the current system fails consumers.
The government should set a higher bar when it comes to reporting vehicle history."
Contrast former ride-share cars with vehicles used for taxi or limousine services.
When a taxi is decommissioned and sold, a vehicle history report will usually indicate
what it was used for.
Some states even indicate taxi or livery use on the vehicle's title, the same way they
would with a stolen or flooded car, to give buyers a head's up on its previous life.
Such a disclosure could lower a vehicle's resale value by up to one-third, according
to CR's Yu.
However, privately owned ride-share vehicles aren't subject to the same disclosure requirements.
"Because these vehicles are privately owned and they're registered as personal vehicles,
there's not going to be anything in the paperwork that's going to bring that up,"
said Dan Blinn, a consumer advocacy lawyer from the Consumer Law Group in Rocky Hill,
Conn.
That's not the case in New York City, which requires owners of ride-share vehicles to
obtain the same sort of registration as taxi or limousine owners.
That's why, when CR purchased a Carfax report for a 2015 Toyota Avalon Hybrid used as an
UberX vehicle in Manhattan, the vehicle history report identified the car as having been used
as a taxi.

as you can see right here,
and then there's a customer quote about how they even clean the ceiling fan blades.
So those are some key benefits of this particular service.
I want to see a logo and a photograph of a product, place or business.
Here you see the photograph of a maid and you also see the company logo which is this round circle here.
A graphic image for decoration and here you see swirls off to the side
as well as banners and lines to kind of separate contact information from the rest of the information.
So this particular flyer would receive full credit which is 15 points.

If you prefer to write a business promotional letter,
let's switch over.
So once again it's a home cleaning service.
And here, this is the rubric I'll be using to grade your business letter.
Company name and contact information
Clearly stated company name and contact information,

So here, in this business letter, thank you for expressing interest
in our home cleaning service.
So you see it right up front.
Key benefits:
We take pride in the details and then once again the customer quote.
I'm looking for a logo and I see the little blue circle right at the top here, that's the company logo.
And, correct letter format which includes address,
name of the person I'm writing to,
the salutation, Dear Monica, with a comma,
paragraph structure,
(notice that in a business letter we do not indent in the first line of a paragraph)
and then closure. I'm looking for all of the proper letter format.
So this letter would definitely receive full points, 15.
