save human race when World War three breaks out Elon Musk warns billionaire

Elon Musk says we need we need to start a colony on Mars before World War three

breaks out in a bid to save the human race the entrepreneur said based on the

human races track record another global conflict is imminent and it could plunge

us into the next Dark Ages mr. musk also emphasized he founded SpaceX in 2002 to

start colonies on other planets and said that making this leap now would make us

less vulnerable to extinction he highlighted the human races inability to

get along with each other as another factor to justify settling on the Moon

and Mars speaking at SXSW festival in Austin Texas earlier this month mr. musk

said last century we had two massive world wars three if you count the cold

war dot I think it's unlikely that we'll never have another world war again then

we want to make sure that there's enough of a seed of human civilization

somewhere else to bring civilization back and perhaps shorten the length of

the dark ages I think a moon base in a Mars base that could perhaps help

regenerate life back here on earth would be really important and to get that done

before a possible world war 3 mr. musk added that a base on Mars would be

better than on the moon because it is further away from Earth SpaceX is

already developing the huge b FR big Falcon rocket or big F rocket and says

it will ready by 2019 mr. musk said at a conference in

Australia last September we're actually building that ship right now

I think we'll probably be able to do short flights short sort of up and down

flights probably sometime in the first half of next year the bfr rocket will be

powered by an impressive array or 31 monstrous Raptor engines and it aims to

deliver the first-ever cargo to Mars by 2020 to dot the first humans are

expected to follow by 2024 on top of the imminent danger of World War three mr.

musk warns that artificial intelligence AI is more dangerous than nuclear

weapons he said the danger of AI is much greater

than the danger of nuclear warheads by a lot and nobody would suggest that we

allow anyone to just build nuclear warheads if they want that would be

insane if humanity collectively decides that

creating digital super intelligence is the right move then we should do so very

very carefully very very carefully this is the most important thing that we can

possibly do thanks for watch please share like comment this video and

Vote or you will lose! | Latina and Russian | - Duration: 11:12.

Paul: Welcome to Latina and Russian.

Carla: We have Spanish subtitles if you need!

Paul: And RUSSIAN SUBTITLES TOO!

Carla: We traveled to Ecuador, South America and we want to share our journey with you

Paul: Now we are going to election.

Carla: Keep watching

EPISODE 4. Time to vote!

Carla: Hello friends

Here we have a little timeline about Ecuador, America and the World

It is showing us what was happening

And here is the Spanish period

The story of Ecuador, the history of this land is very hard and full of events

At first tribes were living there.

And they were fighting with each other

Incas came to that places only in the middle of XV century

After 70 years of their ruling the Spanish came

And they conquered the land

That was a large territory including Ecuador and Peru

Spanish conquered it all and they were ruling from Spain

We had a vice royalty and country was under control

Then we go through the process of independence

Whole Latin America

Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia

Our revolution. We kicked out the Spanish

And after this we are going to the time of revolutions in all Latin America

It was a big process

Cuba is getting free here

And then we had military dictatorships

And only in 1980-s we became democratic countries

In the beginning of XIX century rebels in Quito decided to displace Spanish

And the whole revolution began in Latin America

Cuba, for example, was one of the last countries getting independence

In the end of XIX century

Then the time for dictators came

They were taking the power in every country

Ruling for some period of time.

And in Ecuador it was the same

Country was very corrupted

People were kicking out one president after another

The situation stayed the same during whole XX century

For example, in Chile we had one of the biggest dictators ever - Pinochet

Most of you know about him probably

A lot of people died during their ruling

And also, Ecuador had two wars with Peru

It was in 1942. And they lost their territory

The way to democracy was very hard. And it wasn't easy for the country to

And the whole Latin America, I think, to developed this political system when everyone can vote

[written on picture] *Democracy: Two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner 0:03:20.501,0:03:23.110 [written on picture] *Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote

Democracy is a part of our life.

So now we have a special episode dedicated to it

I am going to vote now, the government decided to ask seven questions so the people can decide what they want

The president asks the whole nation to go to vote, they wanted to change the constitution and answer 7 questions

Seven "yes" or "no". The questions were dedicated to some problems for example

Ecological problems related to oil, to mining, also children's abuse, corruption

In this case I was one of the citizens that needed to vote because is mandatory in our country, it was kind of a duty for me

As we see we have a school, here we put tables for people to come and vote

During the whole day from 7 am until 5 pm.

Here youã see it is early, 8 am and a lot of people coming here. Let's vote! 0:04:42.100,0:04:47.030 As you probably know in March we had election in Russia. We were voting for president

And I found out that there are a lot of similar things between our elections

Really? Like what?

In both countries people go to elections in schools

Yes, that is right

In Russia we are going to the Gym and there we are taking the paper and voting, all the people.

Everyone is voting in one place. In Ecuador?

No, in Ecuador we have the election in the school but every classroom has a different amount of people that needs to go

According to the last name and also gender. Female and male according to the list they can see where to go to vote

They are voting different? like in the toilets, man and women

Yes, like in toilets! Men, women separate!

We do not mix. No toilets for both of them.

For you to know where to go you need to take a look at this information chart

Here you have a number of the table and you have the gender either if female or male and then you see last names.

It is going from this last name to this other in alphabetical order

Every time we vote for anything, it could be for president, mayor

they give us a certificate of assistance because it is mandatory

This little paper will allow you to do any kind of process, it is the kind of documentation that you need

For example, we have ID and Ià you want to go to the bank and ask for something you will need ID and this certificate

It is very important, you cannot lose it

In my case I needed to take a new one because I was out of the country and I missed some elections

I also had a penalty because I did not assist but if you are out of your country you can also vote in any embassy

I am ready with my ID and this is the document of the last election

I am going out to find my name and vote

So, in Ecuador everyone needs to go to election? You cannot just sit home and drink beer and not to go

No, and we cannot definitely drink

Because we have a law that we call it "Ley Seca", It is like "Dry law"

And actually, you cannot drink 48 hours before election

Because you need to be like, sober, for making these kind of decisions, it is really important

And yes, it is mandatory, you cannot miss it.

Latina and Russian are traveling with Caraval Travel

Here are the boxes where we put the votes either is for president or mayor

we go to the place they assigned you according where you live and take the paper, we vote, fold it and put it here

This is a metallic one, it is very old, and this is from last year 2017. It is pretty new.

It is a petty but we cannot film inside this place for voting, it is prohibited. But we will tell you what was there

I was inside and we first sign a document of your assistance and then they give you this big paper.

It was about this big, really big.

With two options. "Yes" or "No"

Every question with every article of the constitution. How It is and how It is going to be

And that was it! You needed to put "Yes" or "No", whatever you decided, folded and put in the urn

That was it! And then they give you the paper, this certificate that you voted

Another one! They are taking the old one

Yes, they are taking the old one and giving you a new one, so this new one is going to work from now on until next election

So that was the process

So, they gave me a paper, a big one with the seven questions and in the backwards the changes in the constitution

After it, it put already my vote and I got the new paper that is the certificate that I voted here

BREAKING NEWS !!! China Says Earth Bound Tiangong 1 Space Lab Will Offer 'Splendid' Show - Duration: 2:53.

a defunct space laboratory that will plunge back to earth in the coming days

is unlikely to cause any damage Chinese authorities say but will offer instead a

splendid show akin to a meteor shower China's space agency said that the

roughly 8 tonne tiangong one will re-enter the atmosphere sometime between

Saturday and Monday the European Space Agency on Friday gave smaller window

between Saturday night and late Sunday evening GMT but there is no need for

people to worry said the Chinaman space engineering office on its WeChat social

media account such falling spacecraft do not crash into the earth fiercely like

in sci-fi movies but turn into a splendid meteor shower and move across

the beautiful starry sky as they race towards the Earth

it said the lab was placed in orbit in September 2011 and had been slated for a

controlled reentry but it ceased functioning in March 2016 and space

enthusiasts have been bracing for its fiery return the ESA said the lab will

make an uncontrolled re-entry as ground teams are no longer able to fire its

engines or thrusters though a Chinese space flight engineer denied earlier

this year that it was out of control the updated re-entry estimates by ESA is

slightly later than its previous calculations the agency said in a blog

post that calmer space weather was now expected as a high-speed stream of solar

particles did not cause an increase in the density of the upper atmosphere as

previously expected such an increase in density would have pulled the spacecraft

down sooner it said adding that the new re-entry window is still uncertain and

highly variable experts have downplayed any concerns

about the team dong-won causing any damage when it hurtles back to earth

with the ESA noting that nearly 6,000 uncontrolled re-entries of large objects

have occurred over the past 60 years without harming anyone the CM SEO said

the probability of someone being hit by a meteorite of more than 200 grams is 1

in 700 million

She Will Wear Her Rags No More - Duration: 9:20.

Once upon a time, there lived a shadow of a girl.

She didn't know where she had come from or why she was here.

All she knew was that she wasn't like the other girls.

She had been told these things by The Others, who pointed and laughed whenever she would

appear.

So, the girl hid herself away from the outside world.

She built a wall, tall and mighty around herself, and there she stayed.

Alone.

Afraid.

Covered in shadow.

It was better this way she thought.

It was better to be alone.

The unknown girl began to disguise herself under layers and layers of rags

just to go outside.

The Others knew only the costume, but not the terrified girl hidden beneath.

Girls like her were not welcome.

When the Others grew to close or to curious she would retreat back to her hiding spot.

There, afraid of being discovered, she would build another wall.

No one could ever know she was there.

It was more comfortable to be alone.

The unkept girl saw The Others worshiping a Great Light.

She longed to join them in their worship but was too afraid.

The Others spoke horrible things about those who didn't believe like they did, about those

who were different.

People just like her.

She had been taught that she was dirty.

Unclean.

Unworthy.

Girls like her could not know the Great Light.

So, she hid her heart away.

Ashamed.

It was safer to be alone.

The lonely girl began to grow restless in her dark room.

She longed to be known, to be seen, even if it was just for a second.

She wanted someone, anyone, to know that she was real.

That she existed.

She parted her rags and dropped her guard just for a moment.

The Others told her she was sick, that she wasn't normal, that she was dangerous even.

So, the girl tucked herself deep under her rags intending never to be seen again.

It was less painful to be alone.

Once upon a time, there lived a shadow of a girl.

Her whole life she had been told she was unwelcome.

Unlovable.

Unworthy.

Unknown.

So, she hid herself away from the outside world.

She built a tall and mighty labyrinth to keep everybody away.

And there she stayed, unable to escape.

Unable to see the light of day.

Afraid.

Alone.

Ashamed.

Covered in shadow.

It was better this way she thought.

It was better to be alone.

One day, the hidden girl woke to a ray of light piercing her darkness.

A crack had formed in her mighty walls.

She tried and tried to repair it, but the crack only grew larger.

The light only grew brighter.

Then one day, her mighty walls fell and the darkness retreated.

Frantic, the girl clutched at her rags eager to hide once more.

She stopped as her eyes fell upon the light floating there before her.

It spoke to her.

It told her that she didn't have to be alone.

The curious girl tried to chase after the Light but the Others caught her fast by the

arm.

They demanded to know where she was running off to.

They urged her to stay.

If only she obeyed, they promised to rebuild her walls just like before.

They would love her, if only she stayed hidden beneath her rags.

The girl slipped from their grasp.

She needed to learn the truth about who she really was.

She ran after the Light eager to discover what it had to teach her.

The brave girl pursued the Light on a great journey.

Through fields, she learned to run and not hide.

The edge of the oceans taught her just how small she really was.

While the mountains taught her to stand impossibly tall.

The stars above, showed her to how shine brightly.

In the forests she learned to forge her own path even when there was none.

For months the girl chased after the Light always reaching for it.

Then one day she felt its unexpected and warm touch.

Then there was nothing.

The Light had disappeared, to where, the girl did not know.

The uncertain girl returned home to pick up the pieces of her life.

The Others tried to convince her that what she was doing was wrong.

That she should be ashamed of who she was now.

The girl had learned much on her journey and though she tried to explain it to the Others,

they refused to listen.

They wanted her to stay behind her walls, only then would they accept her.

She was, in their eyes, a grave disappointment.

Even though the girl lived alongside The Others every day,

she once again found herself all alone.

The hesitant girl finally began to live her life.

Unsure of herself.

Uncertain of her great journey and worried about her approaching future.

She was no longer hidden but still very much afraid.

She knew she was different.

Wherever she went, she felt out of place and foreign.

Wasn't there somewhere that she could feel like she belonged?

She thought often of the Light and the teachings that had been written on her heart.

But when the darkness of night came, so too did her doubts.

The weary girl searched and searched for the light, instead she found a group of friends

very much like her, searching for answers they did not know.

They did not shun her like The Others did.

Instead, they made a place for her, with open arms and warm hearts.

For the first time, the girl felt like she belonged.

The circle of friends quickly grew to become a family.

Not one bound by flesh and blood but one bound by love.

"At last," she thought.

"I am no longer alone."

The welcomed girl told her friends of her great journey and of how the Light had disappeared

and how she desperately wanted to find it again.

Her friends could see plainly what the girl could not.

They reached out and touched her heart.

The girl felt warmth and peace flowing through her like never before.

When she opened her eyes, the girl saw the Light all around,

illuminating the happy faces of her friends.

The Light had been inside of her, all of this time.

No longer just a girl, she walked into the full light of day, unafraid to be seen and

ready to be known.

So, she gave herself a name to call herself by.

She learned to be brave and strong, to love, and to laugh.

Her despair was replaced with joy, where there was once darkness there is now light.

No longer will she hide.

No longer will she feel ashamed.

She will wear her rags no more.

At long last, she will never have to be alone again.

Meghan Markle "WORRIED" Estranged Family WILL "Crash" Wedding? - Duration: 7:08.

Meghan Markle "WORRIED" Estranged Family WILL "Crash" Wedding?

Is Meghan Markle "worried" her estranged family will "crash" the royal wedding? A report claims she fears what her uninvited relatives might do.

But FASHION CHANEL can bust the story.

According to the latest issue of In Touch, Markle is "worried that her estranged family will ruin her wedding to Prince Harry."

The tabloid asserts the bride-to-be has "good reason" to be nervous, because half-sister Samantha Grant supposedly confirmed to the gossip magazine that she "plans to fly to England for the May 19 nups."

A so-called "source" is quoted as saying, "Meghan's already stressed-out from planning the wedding of the century.

Now she's worried about her estranged family showing up.".

"It would be Meghan's worst nightmare for her family to wreak havoc on what is meant to be the happiest day of her life," the alleged tipster contends to the outlet.

Notably, the publication doesn't actually explain exactly how Grant, or anyone else for that matter, intends on "crashing" the wedding.

More importantly, such a thing is practically impossible.

In a statement released on Thursday by the Thames Valley Police Department, which has jurisdiction where Windsor Castle is located, there will be such an increased security presence that "the policing operation will be amongst the largest in Thames Valley Police's history.

" The plans include license plate recognition, closed circuit television and barriers to stop "hostile vehicles," in addition to "many security measures that you can't see.

And that's not all.

Kensington Palace issued a press release earlier this month that revealed members of the military will also be on hand at Markle and Prince Harry's wedding.

While many will be positioned for ceremonial duties, these trained Armed Forces personnel will be able to spring into action should anything go awry.

The Daily Mail is even comparing the set-up for the wedding security to a "ring of steel," with a cost likely to be more than $30 million.

All this is to say there is little to no chance of Grant or any other distant relative bypassing security to "wreak havoc" on the wedding.

And Markle, of course, is well aware that no unwanted guests should be able to gain access to the castle's grounds.

E! Online recently did an investigation into potential dangers related to Markle and Prince Harry's big day, in which it was noted she is already under 24-hour guard, much like her fiancée and the rest of the royal family.

Dai Davies, who was previously Head of Royal Protection and Chief Superintendent of the Metropolitan Police Service, shared, "William and Harry have grown up with protection all their lives so they are used to this.

And for Meghan… she has been going out with Harry for quite a while.

She's a very bright and intelligent lady so I have no doubt she is taking to all of this like a duck to water." In other words, Markle is quite prepared for things to go smoothly because she knows everyone around her will be assuring no harm can be caused.

Arguably, the worst Grant may be able to do is to talk to the press, which she's been doing since Markle and Prince Harry's relationship went public in 2016.

But Markle will be far too busy with, you know, actually getting married, to fret over what her relatives may or may not say to the media as she walks down the aisle.

It's clear In Touch just wanted to run a dramatic tale as the wedding approaches, even as its claims are easily disproven.

But what else to expect from the same tabloid that falsely claimed Markle was pregnant last November?.

Volunteering in Portugal! Why you will love it - Rota Vicentina - 2PVA - ONE MINUTE WITH - Duration: 3:53.

Hello Dora, thank you very much for taking some time with us.

It's my pleasure!

Would you tell us few words about you to start ?

Yes, of course.

My name is Dora, I was born in Budapest 26 years ago.

I was also raised there.

I was studying communication and media in Budapest.

and then I applied for Erasmus in Torino.

When I finished the university I started to work.

But I wanted to experience something else.

I was searching for different volunteering projects around the world

and actually, The Rota Vicentina Project just appeared on Facebook.

I had this really strong intuition, or instinct, that I have to come here.

and that's how I got here.

And, what are you doing exactly for Rota Vicentina ?

I'm creating photographic contents for them.

I love all parts of the work.

I enjoy moving around, getting to know the place and more and more people,

it's very inspiring ....

Since I arrived, this place is just, I think, the perfect place

to learn to grow as a human

and to be happy.

People are amazing, not only on the surface.

They are very welcoming, They are very helpful.

The environment is the other thing.

I think nature creates an atmosphere...

which you would never understand if you're not here.

Somehow it treats us very well here.

I feel a very strong connection with this place, this area and these people.

it's very easy to connect.

for me the biggest surprise,

was to discover how people can enjoy their lives.

How they can appreciate small things in everyday life.

And that's it. It's not that complicated.

But I think a lot of people forget it.

Focusing on problems and things with which we shouldn't.

And it's just in front of us. It's good to realize this when you are in a place like this.

it changes your mind....

How victory at Crystal Palace will prepare Liverpool for success in their crucial run - Duration: 7:44.

How victory at Crystal Palace will prepare Liverpool for success in their crucial run

A potentially frustrating day at Selhurst Park averted, Liverpool can consider their 2-1 win at Crystal Palace as the perfect warmup for a key run.

International football: the great momentum killer.

Why dump an uncompetitive international break at the end of March?.

I know there's a World Cup to prepare for, and I'm not completely without soul when it comes to the international variant of the game, but why not end the season a week early instead of killing club momentum in late-March?.

Roy Hodgson.

For much of the first half at Selhurst Park it looked like Roy Hodgson was going to enjoy another one of those inexplicable victories at our expense.

Hodgson has long since found his niche.

Call it anti-football if you want to and he has his clear limitations, but he's effective at what he does.

Give him a middle-of-the-road football club, one of those that could be easily interchangeable between the bottom half of the Premier League and the top half of the Championship, and he will produce a team which will be organised and awkward, rarely win on their travels, yet be capable of upsetting the great and the good on home soil sometimes.

They'll also be massively ugly to watch.

I suppose it depends just what you want from your football team.

When Palace came to Anfield earlier in the season, they were armed with the expansive ideas of Frank de Boer and they really tried to play football.

We won by a narrow margin and De Boer was gone within a short few weeks.

English football always has and always will struggle to embrace 'something different' further down the footballing food chain than the big six'.

Hero and Villain.

Sadio Mane had a busy 64 minutes.

Booked for simulation, scorer of the equaliser, a near brush with a red card and removed from the pitch by his manager, for Mane and his manager's own good.

It might have been a penalty had Mane fallen over when contact was actually made, yet his theatrical fall after keeping his feet initially was both blatant and embarrassing.

The pantomime villain from thereon out, Mane was always going to sneak the equaliser.

Had he remained on the pitch beyond the 64th minute, then he would either have been sent off, or antagonised Palace into conceding the winning goal.

Perhaps even both.

Jurgen Klopp opted for caution after Mane grabbed hold of the ball when going to ground.

Sometimes you just have to back off.

I was all for Mane riding it out however….

Karius Wakeup Call.

Focus will be needed by Loris Karius in the games ahead.

No rash moves, just measured decisions and alert reactions.

He did much of this after giving away the penalty which gave Palace an unnecessary opening goal.

Karius continues to grow into the role of first-choice goalkeeper at Liverpool.

He will be tested like never before during the next three games and it will be here and now that Klopp will reconcile if he has the right custodian or not.

Karius has risen to the challenge since usurping Simon Mignolet, he rose to the challenge at Selhurst Park, but the next challenge is going to be a monumental one.

He can rise to it though.

Frustration Navigated.

It took just four minutes of the second half to level off the frustrations of the first half.

Other versions of Liverpool would have felt sorry for themselves in first-half circumstances like these.

It is another step in the right direction toward growing up as a team.

We've responded well to losing at Old Trafford, we've responded well to a momentum-killing international break and now we've responded well to Hodgson's stifling tactics.

Most of us will have expected Palace to fold after they conceded that equaliser so early in the second half, but with so many elements of their playing and non-playing staff having perceived scores to settle with us, it wasn't too much of a surprise that they came counter-punching back again.

However, neither was it a surprise that we procured a late winner, given how their recent games at home to Tottenham and Man United ended.

Mohamed Salah proved to be the match-winner once again, on a day when he was made to work hard for the chances that did fall his way.

The one he converted was yet again taken with that calm assurance which has become his calling card.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's part in the winning goal deserved a standing ovation of its own.

The biggest negative of Saturday was of course the latest injury for Adam Lallana.

Overall, we'll have shaken our limbs loose before a massive evening on Wednesday.

Palace will have done us a subtle favour in being awkward to play against.

Wins need to be fought for.

The next three potential wins certainly will need to be fought for.

Judge Nap Predicts The Shocking Thing We Will Find If We Investigate The FBI - Duration: 1:59.

Judge Nap Predicts The Shocking Thing We Will Find If We Investigate The FBI

In a recent Fox interview, Judge Napolitano exposed what the FBI could be hiding.

"The FBI was never perfect.

Made up of human beings that have political aspirations and political ideas.

But when it was confined just to law enforcement, it knew how to do its job," he explained.

"After 9/11, when the FBI was moved into intelligence-gathering as well as law enforcement,

the abuses began to ramp up.

It's not just Andrew McCabe.

By the time McCabe got there, the concept of — You want a warrant?

Go to FISA.

They issue any warrant you want.

That attitude among FBI and intelligence officials in the NSA was so rampant they all did it.

Hence the FISA court awarding 99.9 percent of all warrants requested," he explained.

"I've never heard of a ratio, a number that high.

99.9 percent.

Because FISA meets in secret.

It kept lowering the standards.

And FBI people who knew, they couldn't get a warrant from a judge like me where the standard

is probable cause of crime.

Go to FISA where the standard is probable cause of talking to a foreign person," said

Napolitano.

"I believe that the inspector general will find a treasure trove, not just McCabe and

company, but that is the most extreme violation we know of because the target, the victim

is the president of the United States," said the judge.

"Though he was a candidate and then president-elect at the time.

But he will find a treasure trove of abuses.

Going to FISA, getting warrants, when the law did not justify it," said Napolitano.

Do you think he's right?

As a matter of fact, the California Congressman has declared he will IMPEACH any member of

the DOJ who does not cooperate with the FISA abuse investigation.

From Washington Examiner

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said the Left's efforts

to cast President Trump as someone guilty of misconduct and subject to impeachment "has

effectively boomeranged on them."

During an exchange with Fox News' Sean Hannity on Wednesday, the California Republican said

investigations into alleged bias in the U.S. government and possible abuses of the Foreign

Intelligence Surveillance Act could place some Democrats in jeopardy.

"The Left has continued to say this is Watergate and Trump's going to be impeached," Nunes

said, riffing off Hannity's misgivings with Trump's opponents who believe his campaign

colluded with the Russians during the 2016 campaign and that Trump may have obstructed

justice — two matters being looked at by special counsel Robert Mueller.

"Now this has effectively boomeranged on them," Nunes continued.

"You have at least I think half of the American people now know that the other party, the

Democrats, appear like they weaponized, to some degree, the intelligence services by

using the foreign intelligence surveillance apparatus in this country to go and target

the opposition campaign is totally unacceptable."

.@DevinNunes: "The Left has continued to say that 'This is Watergate' and '#Trump's

going to be impeached.'

They've continued that.

Well, now this has effectively boomeranged on them."

Nunes was referring to his panel's memo, put together by the majority party, which

outlined alleged FISA abuses by the U.S. government under the President Barack Obama administration

to spy on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

His comments also come after House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., subpoenaed

the Justice Department for documents related to alleged FISA abuses, the agency's investigations

into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's private email server in 2016, and the firing

of former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Nunes said he was happy his House colleague sent the subpoena, but added that they needed

those documents "like yesterday."

Nunes said if the subpoena is not honored, "We should move quickly to contempt [of

Congress] and then we should move to impeachment."

What $2,075 Will Get You In NYC | Sweet Digs | Refinery29 - Duration: 5:28.

Hey guys, I'm Melina, welcome to my fifth floor walkup…I mean my Sweet Digs.

Before you guys come in make sure to

subscribe below.

Come on in.

I pay $2075 a month in rent.

I live in the West Village and this is a

studio apartment, and I'm on a fifth floor walkup.

I moved from Los Angeles where I was

paying 1250 a month in rent,

and I had a studio that was like 3 times the size.

So in comparison to that it's kinda a lot.

But once you're like in the New York mindset and

you hear what other people are paying

it's actually a pretty good deal.

This place is about 300 square feet, but it's really one big long rectangle,

and because there's windows on both sides

it actually feels a little bit bigger than that,

and it feels more light and airy.

Here is my bedroom area.

I put my bed width wise across my apartment.

Mainly because that was really the only way that it fit.

I actually have very slanted floors

in my bedroom area,

and I actually had to put risers

on the bottom of the bed, about 6 inches, to level it out.

There's a little space

on the other side of the bed that I have to roll over my bed

in order to get to it.

It's a little bit of a challenge,

it's a little annoying,

but it also creates kind of a,

a fun, like calm space.

I really liked this nightstand because it's a clear acrylic.

So by having this clear table and you don't notice it.

We have my bathroom.

My shower is interesting because

the shower head is actually

on the side of the shower.

You would normally stand like this in the shower, I stand like this.

Then I have this clear shower curtain

just so you can actually see through the room.

It's all kinda part of living in a tiny New York apartment.

This is my living area.

You'll notice that there's actually a little step up.

Having that step up really creates a natural division of the space.

I've only had like a couple stubbed toes.

One thing that helps is

I have this really cozy rug right at the edge of the step itself,

and it's like a visual reminder, okay I have to step up.

The hardest part of decorating, um,

in such a small space is really finding pieces that

I really like and are really unique but don't take up too much room.

One of my apartment splurges was this coffee table from West Elm.

Because I have such a narrow space

I was looking for a coffee table that would actually fit

within that,

and would be really long, but pretty narrow.

It was like $350 or $375.

I don't have a dining room, I eat here,

I do work here, and so it was worth the investment.

One of my most sentimental pieces is this pillow from Anthropology.

It was out of my price range at the time,

but I told myself,

"Okay when I graduate college

I'm gonna splurge on this pillow for my first adult non-college apartment.

For me it was just symbolic of

okay I'm entering this new phase in my life,

post-grad, I'm adulting, I can afford an $80 pillow.

It's a nice reminder of LA and home,

and also just like that first moment where I like

bought this nice thing for my apartment after college.

Coming in from here, um, is I guess my little office space.

On Saturday mornings

what I love to do when I have the time is wake up and actually do

some creative work.

I get really inspired sitting in this spot.

I work in social advertising,

but in my free time and really my creative passion project

is my blog called 5th Floor Walkup.

It's a mix of lifestyle content, um,

since moving here you know I've gotten really into home decor,

so I try to sprinkle that in.

I do photography on the side, and so I like to share that.

And so that's been a fun creative project.

This is my kitchen area.

In my next apartment,

I would love to have more counter space.

So right now,

I'm pretty much just working on this tiny little space between my sink

and my stove.

My desk area actually also doubles as a counter space when I'm cooking.

It gets a little chaotic.

I try to always have avocados in my fridge.

Avocados!

Coming from California,

like, you can get avocados for, I don't know, 25 cents each.

In New York

I think I once saw an avocado for 5 dollars.

It's my little treat to myself

and I try to always keep my fridge stocked with them.

The way I found this apartment was I saw it on NakedApartments.com.

They actually said that the unit that was listed had been rented,

which is pretty typical

if you ever look for an apartment in New York.

But we have a unit in the building

that is not listed yet,

do you want to see it.

This was still under construction at the time,

it was on the fifth floor.

I saw the space and I immediately loved it,

and I've been living here a year and a half now.

I had really just been a SoCal girl my entire life,

and I think I was just ready to experience something knew.

When I got a job in New York it just felt like the right thing to do.

There's so much going on all the time,

you'll hear sirens, you'll hear people yelling,

there's just kinda chaos.

On one end, you know, that can be negative

because it can be almost information overload,

but in another sense it's actually really inspiring.

I was feeling like I was in a little bit of a

creative rut when I was in LA and since moving, I feel like,

more creatively inspired,

and I really think that the city has so much

to do with that,

experiencing it every day but also the people that you meet really play

into that just like overall creative energy.

North Korea will take part in next two Olympics: IOC chief Bach - Duration: 2:20.

The President of the International Olympic Committee,Thomas Bach, has returned from his

trip to North Korea, where he met with leader Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang.

As our Kim Hyesung reports, it looks like Bach got Kim's commitment to have North Korea

participate in the next summer and winter Olympics.

North Korea will take part in the next two Olympic Games in Tokyo and Beijing.

That's according to International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach on Saturday

upon his arrival in Beijing after meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang.

"The National Olympic Committee of DPRK...they announced us that they will definitely participate

in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 as well as the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.

This commitment was fully supported by the supreme leader of the DPRK in a vey open and

fruitful discussion I had with him yesterday."

Bach added that the IOC will make a proposal for a potential joint march or joint activities

for the two Koreas during the Tokyo and possibly the Beijing Games.

According to the Associated Press, the IOC chief had a 30-minute formal meeting with

Kim Jong-un on Friday followed by casual discussions while watching a football match in Pyongyang.

North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency on Saturday said Bach expressed his

"heartfelt thanks" to Kim over the North's participation at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics

in South Korea, which made the event a "symbol of peace."

The agency said the North Korean leader also thanked Bach for the IOC's special measures,

allowing North Korean athletes to compete in South Korea, and helping contribute to

a peaceful dialogue.

The IOC chief traveled to Pyongyang on Thursday and also met with North Korea's sports minister

during his stay.

Athletes from the two Koreas marched under a single "unified Korea" flag at the opening

ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and the two Koreas have seen a significant

thaw in tensions ever since.
