What can happen in 6 minutes?

A lot if you're only getting snapshots of information.

Your lunch could disappear in a split second.

Taking the perfect selfie could cost you.

Or you could easily miss danger lurking in your water.

Problems can occur in matter seconds.

Imagine what can happen in 6 minutes.

At-line batch TOC measurement can only provide snapshots of your water quality every 6 minutes

or more.

But, a lot can happen in 6 minutes.

With true continuous TOC analysis, you have real-time data to tell you exactly when an

excursion starts and ends.

This helps demonstrate compliance and gives you complete

control of your water system.

The 6000TOCi: Real-time TOC compliance.

Time Travel and Science - Duration: 3:28.

Time travel is a scientific wet dream.

But anyway you slice it the movies never

quite get the theories right.

The most glaring example of being wrong is

Superman. Not to point out the obvious

but spinning the planet doesn't change

time, at all.

In any way. Obviously.

Not to mention Superman would give seven

and a half billion people some serious

whiplash.

And by whiplash I mean these whipped off the planet

and you'd die. No, but, really.

We move at a thousand miles an hour just by existing

on a spinning rock. If you suddenly

spun it in the other direction at the same speed.

All of us would just go. [screaming]

Back to the future.

Now this is a movie that actually makes the science

of how to time travel seem somewhat plausible.

Pause. Rewind.

But, why wouldn't this work.

It's all dependent on wormholes.

A theoretical portal to bring you forwards

and backwards in space

and time.

But the problem is giant wormholes don't

just exist willy nilly.

If at all.

And there's no scientific evidence that you can just

make one on your own.

At most some theories say

that they're everywhere

but smaller than an atom.

So. That means Doc Brown

and his plutonium

and his flux capacitor have to be able

to stretch out a small wormhole

into one big enough for a DeLorean.

Wormholes are suggested to contain

strong forces of gravity

and gravity is what warps the time

and could theoretically make time travel

possible.

But that same gravity would also make the worm

likely to collapse in on itself.

The only theoretical way to keep it open long

enough to pass through would be to negate

gravity in some way.

This could be by using something like

negative energy, a kind of anti-gravity.

But most of the scientific community

still argues about whether

or not that even exists. Whether

or not 88 miles an hour will be fast

enough to keep a wormhole

open is irrelevant.

Negative energy is what would be Doc

and Marty's saving grace.

Without that back to the future just doesn't

cut it.

It is still such a great movie though.

Probably the most accurate film of the bunch,

Interstellar draws on a concept that is known

for the belief of actual time travel.

It's Einstein's theory of relativity.

Basically it states that things like gravity

can warp or distort time.

So if you on a planet has a heavy gravitational

pull and I'm on a spaceship

outside of that pull, you'll experience

time faster than I would.

An hour for you might be a day

for me.

With this theory.

You can't go back in time.

You can only go forward.

And really. You're not even going forward.

You're just experiencing time at an accelerated

rate relative to how everyone else

is experiencing it.

No matter what school age along

your own personal timeline.

So would everyone else.

That's why in the movie,

Joseph Cooper is 124 years

old but still looks fantastic.

It's not the most glam form of time travel

and isn't really time travel to begin

with but it's the only theory that

makes theoretical sense.

Time travel will always straddle the world

of science and science fiction.

Probably more on the side of science fiction

in Back to the Future and Superman.

So for now, until Interstellar

is a reality, we just have to keep

imagining time travel

in the magic of movies.

Content Site KPIs: Scroll Depth, Average Time on Page, Bounce Rate - Duration: 4:08.

If your site earns revenue from advertising,

you might want to know how ads are seen on each page.

Scroll depth measures how far down the page a user actually scrolls.

If we know that a user scrolls down to, say, 75% of the page,

they've most likely seen most of the ads on that page and we have success.

Your developers can track these interactions as hard-coded events

with Google Analytics.

They can also track this with Google Tag Manager and the scroll depth trigger.

Let me show you what that looks like Google Tag Manager.

So here we are in GTM and I have set up an event for scroll tracking.

I've set the category as scroll tracking, the action as a scroll depth threshold,

which is a trigger, I'll get back to that in one moment,

and the label as page path, which means the page that somebody was on

when they triggered this event.

So that scroll depth threshold trigger is over here,

and I have set the percentages of this trigger

to fire at 25, 50, 75 and 100%,

which means that when somebody gets to, say, 50% of the page,

we're gonna fire an event that has a category of scroll tracking

and an action of 50, and so on for 75 and 100.

The last thing to note here is the non-interaction hit event setting.

So I have this set to "false", which means that this event

will count as an interaction, or that this user will not count as a bounce.

After you've set all this up as events, you can then set scroll depth as a goal

and if applicable, give it a value that reflects how much your organization earns

from its advertisers.

So here we are in our goal settings, this is under Views, Goals, and here we go.

Now I've already set this up, but I'm gonna walk you through it.

So I've given it a name of scroll depth greater than 50,

and I've set it as an event.

Now when I click into the goal details,

we can see that I've set my category equal to scroll tracking

and my action as a regular expression for 75 or 100,

meaning that somebody has gone more than 50% of the page,

we're gonna fire this goal.

So then I go ahead and I click Save, and I now have a goal for this.

For content site, you want your users to consume the content

and not necessarily complete an action beyond that.

So scroll tracking is good to be able to understand this,

but what might be even more useful is something like "average time on page"

as a key performance indicator for the entire site,

or as a diagnostic metric in the pages report

to determine which pages are the most engaging for our users

and perhaps entice you to make more pages like those.

Consider the different purposes that different pages in your site may serve.

You want to make sure that you're measuring

similar types of these pages together.

For example, in the behavior, site content,

all pages report that you see here,

we can see that the average time on-page for the homepage,

which is row 2,

and the email sign-up page,

which is row 1,

are significantly lower than the average time on-page for our blog page

for Google Tag Manager, which is row 3.

Now, it makes sense that these would logically be analyzed separately,

since they're very different types of interactions

and lead to different insights that we may take from this information.

As a content site, you may have people who are driven to single long-page articles

like our blog site, read the whole thing, and then leave.

Normally, this would count as a bounce,

but this is where you can use the scroll depth tracking event

that we mentioned earlier

as an interaction event to help you understand site engagement

in a better way.

It's Time for Proper Sleep - Emma and Sam - Shortbread Prophetic Word - Duration: 3:49.

We want to pray for you today. In fact we

want to warfare for you today. So, right

where you are, I want you to just to go into

a place of just receiving the blessing

and the fighting that we want to do on

your behalf.

God has spoken to us at Glasgow

Prophetic Centre for many years about

the ongoing battle over the church for

rest and sleep and quality in that area

so that you wake up refreshed with a

spring in your step and a hop skip and

jump back in your body. And I believe

it's a real contention ground repeatedly

for not just your ability to sleep but

your ability to have the level of rest

in your sleep that God actually wants us

to have. Now the word of God says, 'God

gives sleep to those that he loves', so

you know right there when God says that

that it's going to be contended by the enemy

because rest really matters to God. So

Sam and I are going to raise our hands

towards you. We're going to just pray -

each of us in turn - and start to command

this into order. [To Sam]: Do you want to prophesy first around that?

I believe that just like the

Psalm says that God makes you and makes

us lie down. That God is saying to you,

"I'm gonna make you lie down on your bed

on your sofa in your house and I'm

gonna make you rest". And for some of you

where resting and allowing yourself to

sleep it's almost unnatural and doesn't

feel quite right - you're just gonna have

to say to God, even as we pray, "God I let

you make me lie down; I choose to partner

with your rest". I think there's a

wonderful prophetic a gift from God to

you because some of you've got so into

your work and so into busyness you've

actually lost the ability to know what

it is to look after yourselves and rest

properly. So we just raise our hands

towards you and, in the name of Jesus, I

speak to any assignments that have come

against you in the night and I stop them

dead in Jesus name! And where you are

struggling with your rest I bless you

to be one who can fall asleep, who can

stay asleep! And I bless you in the name

of Jesus to have a quality of God-given

sleep that transforms your night but

also transforms your day in Jesus' name!

And this isn't just about having long

sleep but it's having the right amount

that is deep sleep. So we bless you in

Jesus' name with deep sleep that

rejuvenates your body; that rejuvenates

your spirit; that brings life to your

insides; that you won't wake up, even after

long periods of sleep, still feeling

tired but you will wake up ready for the

day ahead. So we bless you with the

gift of deep sleep that renews all of

who you are, in Jesus' name.

And I bless you as one who now comes

alive during the day because you have

gone to sleep during the night. And I

bless your energy levels in Jesus' name,

to now come in to Godly alignment. So we

bless you now to be one who knows Godly rhythms,

Godly cycles, and we bless you to

get the gift of yourself

back to you, from the hand of God. Amen!

INSIGHT: Screen time at home - Duration: 1:43.

Finding there's too much screentime in your house, cut it down gradually.

It's really hard to slowly adapt technology vs alternative activities, they might find

that a little bit frustrating because it's slower.

So help them to understand that learning to tolerate things like boredom and frustration

is an important life skill.

Parents might find that their children say they need their phone for an alarm clock.

Go old school, get a clock that just requires batteries.

Make technology free rituals for the entire family.

Have different areas of the house where no technology is allowed, actually have mealtimes

with no technology.

Parents have probably heard about parental controls, again really important to talk to

the children about why you're going to use them and its got to be about their wellbeing.

As opposed to just you're being the parent and they're the child so you're going

to swoop in and put that rule in place.

You'll get more of a buy in from them if they understand that process.

If you're going to put aside a certain time limit first get their buy-in and also work

with them, don't come at it from an authoritarian point of view.

So come to them and say, look I'll give you a ten minute warning, if that's ok with

If that's what you need?

And then when that ten minute warning is finished go to them and say, where are you at?

Because if they need time to save the stuff that they're doing then give them that time.

Say well how much time do you need?

Is it a couple of minutes?

I'll come back in a couple of minutes.

Don't just turn the Wifi off because that ends up them feeling incredibly angry as opposed

to understanding the process.
