Right now, I'll probably not act in as much dramas

I love performing

but sometimes when I see the camera I am still very shy

Scared that people would judge me

Because I am performing because I

just want to bring people happiness

but sometimes it is a drama or other work

People will start to judge you, and it is a good thing

but I still have a hard time accepting it.

Maybe because I have a small heart and I am still a little girl

Consonant Sound /dʒ/ as in "job" – American English Pronunciation - Duration: 14:12.

Hello there!

This is the "Sounds American" channel.

In this video, we're going to talk about the American consonant sound /dʒ/,

as in the word "job."

You can also hear this sound in words

like "gym" - "judge" - "June" or "soldier."

We'll be using special phonetic symbols - /dʒ/ - for this sound.

You might recognize these two symbols,

especially if you watched our previous videos.

That's right, the /dʒ/ actually consists of two consonants:

the stop sound /d/ and the fricative sound /ʒ/.

We've talked about these sounds on our Sounds American channel.

There's a reason why we're doing it again.

Here it goes:

this video is about how the two single sounds /d/ and /ʒ/

merge into an entirely different consonant sound /dʒ/.

The /dʒ/ is one of two consonant sounds in American English that are made this way.

They're called "affricates".

So, what is an affricate sound?

The affricates are made by first stopping the airstream

and then releasing it through a narrow passage in your mouth with an audible friction

At this point, we usually explain why this sound is important for your American accent.

Know what?

Let's skip this part and have some fun instead.

Take a look at this sentence and try to pronounce it aloud:

Was it hard?

Yes, it was ;)

Who comes up with this stuff, anyway?

We'll get back to this awesome tongue twister again at the end of this video.

And now let's find out how to make the /dʒ/ consonant.

OK, as we mentioned a minute ago, to make the /dʒ/ sound,

you need to merge the stop /d/ with the fricative /ʒ/ into one sound.

First, slightly open your mouth and push out your lips.

Now, focus on your tongue.

Place the tip of your tongue on the alveolar ridge behind your upper front teeth.

Just as you do to make the /d/ sound.

This way you stop the air.

Now, to release the air, arch your tongue so it's near the roof of your mouth.

The same way as you do when you make the /ʒ/ sound.

Make sure that you don't touch the roof of your mouth

and there's a small gap for the air stream.

When you release the air through this gap,

it'll flow with lots of noise:

The /dʒ/ is a voiced sound, so don't forget to add your voice.

Does that sound like a lot?

Don't worry, let's watch it again in slow motion.

Remember, the /dʒ/ is an affricate sound,

so it's important to completely stop the air in your mouth

and then immediately release it with friction.

Now, let's try and merge the /d/ and the /ʒ/ sounds together:

Here are a few typical mistakes that people make when pronouncing this sound.

The most common problem is that non-native English speakers devoice the /dʒ/ consonant,

especially when it occurs at the end of words.

Often, people don't realize that they pronounce the voiceless /tʃ/ sound instead.

Compare:

Remember, it may be okay in other languages,

but American voiced consonants are never devoiced at the end of words.

By the way, don't forget to lengthen the vowel before the /dʒ/ sound!

The /dʒ/ is a voiced consonant,

so vowel sounds before the /dʒ/are typically longer

than before its voiceless counterpart, the consonant sound /tʃ/.

Compare:

This is called the Vowel Length rule and we talked about it in detail in one of our videos.

As usual, you can find the link in the Description box below.

Another common problem is that many non-native English speakers confuse the /dʒ/ and the /ʒ/ sounds.

This happens when people don't stop the air before making the /ʒ/ sound.

Be careful as this may make your foreign accent stand out.

Compare:

Remember, the /dʒ/ consists of the /d/ stop sound and the /ʒ/ fricative.

You have to first stop the air and then release it with the strong friction.

OK, now, let's do some practice exercises.

Isn't this your favorite part of our videos?

This is how it works.

You'll see a word on the screen and hear its pronunciation.

Like this.

You'll have a few seconds to pronounce the word.

Do your best and practice as many words as possible.

We'll start with this sound at the beginning of words.

Let's begin.

Let's stop here for a second and catch our breath.

Next, we'll practice this sound in the middle of words.

Don't forget to stop the air and immediately release it when pronouncing the /dʒ/.

Let's continue.

Let's pause again before we practice the /dʒ/ sound at the end of words.

Remember to voice this consonant and lengthen the vowel before it.

Let's do it.

You're done!

Congratulations!

Now, how about a quick review of how this sound is spelled?

We'll bet you'll find it useful!

Take a look:

Most often, the /dʒ/ sound is represented by the letter 'g',

as in "ginger" or "page."

About two times less often, this sound is written with the letter 'j',

as in "job" or "object."

In quite a few words, the /dʒ/ is represented by the combination of letters 'dg',

as in "fridge" or 'bridge,'

And sometimes it's written with the letter 'd',

as in 'soldier' or 'procedure.'

In a surprisingly small percentage of words, this sound is represented by two letters 'g',

as in 'suggest' or 'veggie.'

Awesome, isn't it?

Time to get back to our tongue twister challenge!

Remember our sentence?

Let's try and pronounce it again.

How was it?

Did the exercises help?

Liverpool news: Jamie Redknapp makes HUGE claim as he aims dig at Man Utd - Duration: 3:25.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp spent around £173million to sign Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson in the summer

And they are now six points clear at the top of the table following their 4-0 win against Newcastle and Manchester City's defeat by Leicester

However, Redknapp pointed the finger at United who have struggled despite spending vast amounts of money themselves in recent seasons

"It is true that Klopp has been able to splash the cash in the last 12 months," he said in his Daily Mail column

Since January, Liverpool have spent more than £250 million on Virgil van Dijk, the Premier League's best defender, Brazil's No 1 goalkeeper Alisson and bolstered their midfield

"But spending power alone is not why Liverpool lead the Premier League by six points at the season's halfway stage

"Manchester United have spent nearly £200m more than Klopp over the last three seasons and at no point have they looked like title contenders

"The Liverpool team who thrashed Benitez's Newcastle 4-0 included an academy graduate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, an £8m left back, Andrew Robertson and Xherdan Shaqiri who — at £13m from Stoke — is proving to be one of the bargains of the summer

"Klopp is a manager who not only has an eye for a good player but improves them, too

Mohamed Salah was not a 40-goal forward and a contender for the Ballon d'Or when he arrived at the club

"Joe Gomez has been transformed into a first-choice centre-half for England, a player who before his injury was keeping a World Cup finalist in Dejan Lovren out of the Liverpool team

"Having left the comfort zone at Arsenal last season, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looked a certainty for England's World Cup squad before damaging knee ligaments in the Champions League semi-finals

"What is even more remarkable about Liverpool's continued development under Klopp is that it has not been curtailed by the loss of their world-class playmaker, Philippe Coutinho

" Liverpool are now big favourites to win their first league title since 1990. They face two potentially season-defining fixtures in the coming days

They welcome Arsenal to Anfield on Saturday before traveling to Manchester City on January 3

Arsenal boss Unai Emery reveals Aaron Ramsey talks as PSG plot transfer swoop - Duration: 2:52.

The Welshman hoped to sign a long-term contract with the Gunners this season which mirrored his importance to the team and rivalled the £350,000-a-week which Mesut Ozil was rewarded with in January

It appeared a deal was close to completion until Arsenal stalled on talks with the 28-year-old two months ago

The pause in negotiations frustrated Ramsey, who had every intention of staying in north London, where he's called home for 10 years

But the attacking midfielder is now aware he will leave on a free in June, when his contract expires

**PREDICT FIVE RESULTS AND WIN £25,000 - FREE TO PLAY HERE** Ramsey can talk to potential suitors from January 1, with a legion of big European clubs circling

Despite Juventus and Bayern Munich reportedly leading the race for his signature at different points this season, Paris Saint-Germain have now stolen a march on their rivals

The French champions are keen to hold talks with Ramsey in January, and are now the bookies' favourites to secure his services

While Ramsey will be inundated with offers in the new year, Emery has reminded him where his focus must lie

"The most important thing for every player is for the focus to be here," the Arsenal boss said

"It is not easy for Aaron but I have spoken with him and we need his performances for us

" Despite his impending departure, Ramsey has featured regularly under Emery, making 16 league appearances this term

The playmaker came on as a substitute in the Gunners' 1-1 draw at Brighton on Boxing Day, and Emery was content with his performance

"He played yesterday with a good spirit. We did not win but he is working hard and I am happy," the Spaniard said

"I also need this focus for Liverpool on Saturday and then for Fulham [on New Year's Day]

His focus should be to help us."

Chelsea latest news: Willian challenges Eden Hazard as Maurizio Sarri hails The Blues forward - Duration: 3:37.

The Belgian winger was on target twice for the Blues as they saw off Watford at Vicarage Road last night

And Willian thinks there is even more to come from Hazard and has challenged him to continue his good form

I'm happy for him," he told the club's website. "I'm happy because he helped us to win and happy he has scored 101 goals for Chelsea, so I hope there's more to come from him

Now we have to think about Crystal Palace." Maurizio Sarri also praised Hazard after his performance against the Hornets

Of course he is very important for us, but Messi is very important for Barcelona, Cristiano Ronaldo is very important for Juventus

He is a very great player," he said. "He is able to play in every position. He is playing like a false number nine

He is very able to play in that position, today he scored two goals and I think he made two or three very good assists

He is very able to come to play with the team-mates, he is able to make space for team-mates, he is very able in that position, but I think that he can play very well in every position

Willian came close to scoring for Chelsea, hitting the woodwork on two occasions in the match

I think I was unlucky in the first half when I went one against one with the keeper and hit the post," he said

We had control of the game, we scored to make it 1-0 but then we conceded a goal

We went out for the second half with the same mentality, scored a goal and tried to create some chances

We were unlucky again, I hit the post twice, but like I said we have to continue in the same way now, we cannot go up and down anymore

Chelsea return to action against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday (12pm)

The Blues currently sit fourth in the table, 11 points behind leaders Liverpool. Get Chelsea latest news updates directly to your inbox Subscribe Thank you for subscribing

Alexis shows his fitness as he bids to return to Man United side - Duration: 4:08.

is putting in the hard yards on his own at the training ground as he bids to prove his fitness ahead of the visit of Bournemouth

The attacker is yet to ignite his career at Old Trafford having joined the club from Arsenal back in January

But with a new lease of life breathed into the club by interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Sanchez is pushing himself to the sounds of 'Eye of the Tiger' by Survivor ahead of his return to the side

The various clips that appeared on his Instagram story include cardio work in the gym as he looks to get miles into the legs, close control drills on the training ground and sprint work on the beach

Sanchez cannot be accused of lacking desire to get back playing having trained solo when his team-mates travelled to Wales to take on Neil Warnock's Cardiff City

In what looks like a bitterly cold day at the club's Carrington base, the footage shows Sanchez initially producing sprints over short distances to build up his acceleration, before adding in a ball to get his close control refined after his injury

Older clips of him training on sand sees balls delivered out of the shot and he uses the chance to practice his keepy-ups and heading while pushing his legs on the uneven terrain

After United brushed Huddersfield Town aside 3-1 on Day - and also put five past Cardiff last Saturday - it is no surprise that Sanchez wants to force himself back into contention

United look refreshed under Solskjaer and are playing with a freedom that was rarely afforded to attackers or midfielders during Mourinho's tenure

Sanchez has been struggling with a hamstring injury he collected in training last month ahead of the trip to face Southampton - he has not featured since then

First team opportunities since his move have been irregular but fans have been left excited as to his potential under a new coach given he appears to be fighting fit ahead of the visit of Eddie Howe's Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon

Away from stepping up his personal training programme, the Chile ace also shared some content from his Christmas having celebrated with friends and family over the last few days

A thumbs up shot of him after the workout is joined with a Christmas tree emoji before the next story shows his two dogs, Atom and Humber, sat in front of the tree at his home to the sounds of Michael Buble's Christmas album

Games are coming thick and fast for United now and should Solskjaer opt not to put Sanchez in against the Cherries, his eyes will be fixed on a return for the January 2 trip to face Rafa Benitez's Newcastle

How to DOMINATE 2019 as a DJ/Producer! - Duration: 12:44.

- The answer is, drink green smoothies every day.

- Every day.

- That's all you need to do.

- It super power charges you.

- 2019. Oh yeah.

(upbeat electronic music)

- What's up Team MBL, it's musicbylucas

- and laurenzray, DJ video creator,

DJ producer and what are we talking about today?

- Today we're gonna talk about

how to dominate 2019 so you can grow

with your music and music career.

- Yes, so you know how it is.

New year, new me but then you're like

but how do I do that and I'm sure most of your

guy's goal in mind for 2019 is to move

to the next level with your music career

and so we're gonna try to just like walk you through

some tips on how to get there really.

- Exactly, and also we have an after party on Discord

so every week after this video premiers you

can head on over to our Discord we have celebrity guest

mix, DJ mix and also we are on there chatting

as well as some special guests and we can

all just talk and continue the party

- Okay so first off you gotta have goals

you have to have goals for the year

so how do we figure out what your goals are

you got to ask yourself what's the most important

things to you what in 2019 do you want most

out of the year what do you want to accomplish

ask yourself those questions, write them all down

and I think from there you will

be able to figure out your goals

- I would say get on either a Google doc or microsoft word

whatever you use or just paper, pen and paper

Lauren actually like to use

- I am a journaler

- Yeah she likes pen and paper

- I do, yeah

- I am more digital I like to use

Google docs or I like to use dropbox paper

which is a new thing that I find really really cool

- Yeah don't force yourself to do a new

technique that you don't really like to do

because you are not going to keep up with it

throughout the year you are going to do it for a while

and be like I hate this, figure out something that

works for you something you actually like doing

whether that be like me where you like to sketch it

into a book or you like to type it out

and see it nice and clean on your computer

- Yeah every time you think of something new

it doesn't matter if you are like on the road

or at home write it down immediately

- This is the hardest, oh I will remember it for later

- You won't

- You never do

- Also you are not going to think

of all your goals right away

- No

- A lot of times it's going to come as the year progresses

- Yeah

- so you got to make sure wherever you are at again

- Keep it up to date

- Write it down, that's kind of part of the reason

I like digital because with Apple everything is on

Icloud so if I just type it on to my note

now it's on my laptop, it's all over the place

it's already all synched

- Yeah I always write them on my phone

and then I like copy them down in my journal later

- Yeah well you have a better memory than me too

- That's true

- I don't have as good of a memory

- So once you have all your goals written down for the year

you have to create a game plan to get to those goals

- Yeah and these are called milestones

- Milestones

- Milestones are really important

because they help you celebrate or know

what the next step is in your goal all together

- That's the thing because I feel like people

have ultimate goals and then there is tiny

little goals to get to the ultimate goal

but all you are thinking about is accomplishing

the big goal so even if you accomplish

the smaller goals to get there

you don't really care you feel frustrated

I still haven't gotten here this is

where I want to be in 2019

- Yes

- And what Lucas is saying no, celebrate

the small victories otherwise you will feel like

you are a failure, you will give up, you will never

feel like you are good enough and those are all

terrible vibes to have in 2019

- Yeah and you have to break it down because maybe

your goal is get a track signed by spinning records

well, there is a lot of little goals that are

going to go into that everything from getting

DJ supports, making sure your track is properly

mastered, making sure the track cover looks good

making sure the title you know all that stuff

- Yeah and whether it just be like get

better at drops or like find a good collaboration

this year with somebody who can help

bring my track to the next level

- Yeah

- There is like tiny within tiny

within tiny goals of greater goals

- And then you will know which step you are on

to get to the major goal which is the best part

- True, that is why you have to have

the game plan because if you are just like

I want to get my track signed by spinner records

(laughter)

You have to figure out what steps

you need to take in order to get there

and if you are feeling like you are watching

this video right now and you are like yeah but I don't know

the steps that I need to do to get there

that is why we created the producers team

I don't know if you guys have heard of

the producers team it's a team that we created

in order to help people because when Lucas started

his music career he didn't know what the heck

he was doing either and he kind of figured it out

as he went along and we really

want to share that with you guys

- Yeah

- Because it took so much time and effort

out of our life to figure it out for Lucas we

want to share that information with you guys

so we will have how to join the

producers team in the link below

- Yeah

- But also we are going to talk about

some other techniques that you can use

in a little bit later in this video

- So when it comes to your goals you

should be creating a weekly and monthly routine

so with my spread sheet that I use

I know that sounds very boring

but I have a spread sheet that I use

where I have my daily goals, like my daily checklist

of things I have to do that happen everyday

I have my weekly goals, my weekly checklist

and then I have monthly you could also do quarterly

or yearly you can set it up anyway you want

you have repeating tasks which are things

that you have to always do and then you have tasks

which are helping you get towards the main goal

- Okay it all sounds very boring

- Yeah

- Basically what Lucas is trying to say is you need

a routine or you will not get everything accomplished

people always ask us, like how do just you two

literally do everything that you guys do

and the answer is the routine

Everyday you wake up maybe you brush your teeth

maybe you eat breakfast, get on the bus

whatever it is in your daily routine

if you skipped brushing your teeth and you

ate breakfast you would probably get to school

and realize you didn't brush your teeth

just because it's a part of your routine and if it

messes up you will forget things and that's

what we are trying to say with your new

goals you gotta create a new routine

- Yeah because if I don't check my list I always

miss stuff and then I am frustrated the next day

like oh I should have done that

If I just would have checked my list

your list is the thing that is going to keep you together

- Right, and you know at some point you

might not have to go to such list

maybe it just becomes a part of you

and you don't even have to think about it

but at first especially when you are changing

a lot of things when it comes to a routine

you do kind of have to be like one, two, three

- Yeah exactly and do a monthly check in

check in every month to see where you are at

with everything and maybe you need to start

adjusting some of your goals

- Right

- Maybe some are further along, some are further back

- Or you need to readjust the smaller goals

or something like that once a month is really good

you could do it even everyday or every week

but at least once a month because you can look back

and see like oh my gosh in this month I accomplished

so much I don't care if it was small

I don't care if it was big but I

accomplished so much and like we said earlier

it's a really good thing to check in with yourself

and give yourself a pat on the back

- And I think the biggest one is don't do it alone

because if you really want to stay motivated

if you really want to be able to find all

the answers if you really want to be able to grow

you have to be able to work with other people

it's a very collaborative industry

- It is

- You don't see Jay Z doesn't go on stage and

rap Kanye Wests song, Led Zeppelin doesn't get on stage

and play AC/DC but Tiesto will get on stage

and play Hardwell it's a totally different world

you have to be able to collab in this industry

to be able to grow because you

need the support of your peers

- Yeah and I also think that just feeling alone

a lot of you guys say there aren't any EDM artists

my parents don't understand I am from a country where

there isn't really, these are the things

that can make you feel more alone

- Yeah

- It makes you feel as if you are in it by yourself

and it can lead to very dark place, bad vibes

sort of thing and that's exactly what you want to avoid

you got to find your people you got to find your team

and if you are from some place where there

are people in person I think the greatest

relationships now are online because before

you just had to deal with friends within your

small town or your large city or whatever

that you just had to be friends with

- Yeah

- even if they weren't like the best matched friend

but now you can literally reach out and find someone

who is exactly like you and feels the same way about things

as you all over the world I think that

is way better of a friendship almost

I hate when people are like oh an online friend

that's not a real friend I think they

are better friends you know

- Absolutely and finding friends that are good

at things that you are not good at I say it all the time

but that is going to be the best way for you to grow

because again if you are not good at it

doesn't matter what it is making drops,

maybe you are only good at making breaks

find friends that are good at making drops

maybe you are not really good at using

FL studio but you want to learn

find a friend that's really good at FL studio

friends will point out, if you work with the right people

they will point out what is wrong with your tracks

- Yeah feedback and it's just nice to get somebody

who is dealing with and struggling with the same things

as you and you together can be like, right

- Yeah

- I love that and so the question is how do you find

these people and if you guys are watching this

and you haven't figured out exactly how to find your people

you know there are lots of forums for that

and now there's Discord and we actually

have a Discord as well so join up for ours

- Yeah hop on to the after party right after this video

- We try to keep it good vibes only on our Discord

so it's a really good place I think to find

positive people who really want to work

hard and are determined for the music industry

- Yeah and we have our own private pages

for the Producers team if you are on there

and we all work together every week

- Right so these are the different ways

so you can join the Producers team like I was talking

about earlier that's just a place of really

like minded people, really determined people

because if they are going to commit to the

Producers team you know they are serious about

their careers that's a really good place to find people

but like you said as well as the Discord

- Even like town pool, Instagram,

there is all kinds of different ways

when I was first starting I found a lot

of friends on town pool that I am still friends with

today so maybe instead of commenting vote for my track

you can go on and try to like if you find someone

you like their track start talking to them

find their sound cloud message them

on there start a conversation

- People want to find other people

and that's I think a fear of a lot of people

oh I reach out but I am small and they won't care about me

you never know honestly Lucas would just see who won

the spin pool talent of the week

and if it was something that was similar to you

you would reach out to them and you would say hey

it's nice to meet somebody else I loved your track

I think it really deserved the win or whatever

- Yeah absolutely

- Reach out to as many people as you can

it doesn't hurt, they aren't going to remember you

if they don't respond back but if they respond back

you never know where it's going to go

- And my online friends are the ones that kept me

motivated when I was working my day job

and I was going to school and it was hard

to be motivated at that time because

I was so busy with everything else going on

- Right and you didn't really know that much about

music sometimes and you had friends that were like

bro it's this or like they would tell you

about certain things everybody starts at zero

everybody starts somewhere don't be embarrassed

to put yourself out there and think you don't

know enough or you are a beginner or something like that

because we all were at some point or another

and no one is going to remember it

they are going to just remember where you are today

and where you are when they remember you

which is usually where you are, where you want to be

- It's like for us right now people keep asking

do you live in the U.K. and it's like no we are

from Los Angeles but they don't remember because

a lot of people joined in recently they just

saw the channel for the first time

- Or they will say something like

of course it's easy for you, you have already been signed

to spinning or you already have a following

or you already TMBL yeah but we didn't have any

of those things literally two years ago

- Yeah they don't remember those times

- Because no one is going to remember that

take pressure off of yourself remember that

no one will remember and take chances, find friends

set your goals, go after them, pat yourself on the back

once and a while and I think you guys

are going to crush it in 2019

- Crush it

Chelsea latest news: Sarri explains Hudson-Odoi decision as youngster's future remains uncertain - Duration: 3:40.

Hudson-Odoi came on for the injured Pedro in the 43rd-minute of the 2-1 win at Watford on Boxing Day

However, Sarri decided to bring him back off with five minutes left and he was replaced by Emerson Palmieri

Some suggested it was because he was unhappy with the youngster's performance and Chelsea fans took to social media to voice their concern about the decision

The 18-year-old's future is in doubt, with German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund said to be monitoring this situation

Before the win at Vicarage Road, Hudson-Odoi had not made an appearance in the Premier League this season

He is understood to be desperate for first-team football and reports have claimed the England Under-19 international is happy to move if he cannot get that at Stamford Bridge

However, Sarri insists the decision to withdraw him against Watford had nothing do with anything other than concerns he might get injured

We don't know how much Pedro is injured, we will evaluate tomorrow," the Italian said after the game

That is the same problem with Callum Hudson-Odoi. He had a little injury a few days ago, yesterday it was good and he managed 50-55 minutes

We thought it was better to substitute him." Hudson-Odoi appeared to confirm his manager's claims by posting a picture of his leg in strapping on Snapchat

Eden Hazard scored twice and Roberto Pereyra netted Watford's goal. The win saw Chelsea stay fourth in the Premier League table and Sarri said he was pleased with the performance of his players

I think we played a good match with a good level of determination and attention for 90 minutes," he said

We could have won with another result. we missed three or four good opportunities but I'm happy with the reaction

It was dangerous for us when they conceded, but we reacted well and we didn't stop playing our football

🔴JUST AS I AM WITHOUT ONE PLEA with Lyrics (Piano Instrumental hymn) (Karaoke Worship & Cover) - Duration: 5:40.

Just as I am, without one plea,

But that Thy blood was shed for me

And that Thou bidst me come to Thee

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about

With many a conflict, many a doubt,

Fightings and fears within, without,

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;

Sight, riches, healing of the mind,

Yea, all I need in Thee to find,

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,

Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;

Because Thy promise I believe,

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thy love unknown

Hath broken every barrier down;

Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, and waiting not

To rid my soul of one dark blot,

To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,

O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Liverpool transfer news: Christian Pulisic odds CUT as January window approaches - Duration: 3:21.

Odds on the Reds to secure the playmaker's signature have been cut in the past few days as the 20-year-old struggles to make his mark at Borussia Dortmund

Pulisic has emerged as one of the most exciting talents in world football in the last few seasons after showing his attacking aptitude in the Bundesliga

The silky playmaker has bagged 12 goals and 16 assists in the last three and a half seasons, but is currently struggling to make the German club's starting line-up

Dortmund sit atop the Bundesliga by six points, with Lucien Favre's vibrant young side blitzing the league

Teenage sensation Jadon Sancho has usurped Pulisic in the team, racking up impressive numbers from the right-wing

Sancho has played 1,025 minutes in the league this term, while Pulisic has managed just 483

The Pennsylvania-born ace is not short of talent, however, and a legion of big clubs are courting the out-of-favour forward

Chelsea have been leading the way for his signature, but Liverpool have seen the odds on them sealing a lucrative deal cut in recent days

As the January transfer window approaches, the Reds have gone from 14/1 to now 6/1 with Paddy Power

Pulisic has not exactly tried to extinguish rumours around his future, stirring speculation back in November

"England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why maybe one day I won't play here," he said

When asked about links to Liverpool, he responded: "Not much reaction for me. As you can see, we are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that

"Then when the time comes for me to talk in the breaks about my future, then that is when those things happen

Reading these articles, I tend to stay away from that stuff. I know it is going to be there but it is not my priority

" Pulisic scored twice against Jurgen Klopp's side in a pre-season friendly, and described him as a "fantastic, skilled boy"

Christian Pulisic next club odds Chelsea 4/11 Liverpool 6/1 Man City 50/1 Barcelona 50/1 (Odds via Paddy Power)
