Youtube daily but Jan 1 2019

I see all these kids as I walk to school

Their colorful backpacks, so unique and cool

I can't help but wonder which color I'd choose

If I still were a kid...

...where would I run off to?

Hello~! Hello~!! Hello~!!!

How am I looking now that I've grown into an adult?

Hello~! Hello~!! Hello~!!!

Do I look like I'm proud of who I've finally become?

Oh I know I've made mistakes

But I'm trying to get it right

And I'm willing just to wait

For the moment I can shine...

This anthem...

...is the story of all time~!!!

I Wanted More Kim Possible, But Not Like This… - Duration: 8:56.

Oh no, oh God…why have you forsaken us.

I wanted more…just not like this!

Hello lords and ladies.

Welcome back to Cartoon Hangout, your place for all things cartoon.

Over a year ago I made a video titled, "I Need More Kim Possible."

In it I described various ways in which I'd be okay with the series coming back, because

honestly KP is one of the best action cartoons of all time.

No exaggeration it is just a fun, well-written and animated series.

It's got a really interesting female protagonist and the show doesn't beat you upside the

head with that fact until you're comatose like SOME modern series do.

And Ron is a loveable fool side kick who eventually comes into his own and even gets KP as a girlfriend.

Well now the gods have answered my prayers for more Kim Possible and…it's clearly

a great example of the old adage: be careful what you wish for, because you just might

get it.

'It' being this live-action Kim Possible movie coming 2019.

Let's just run through the trailer as quick as we can.

We've got Sadie Stanley as Kim, who I suppose looks like Kim well enough.

Though a bit on the younger side, from the looks of it.

It's like if Kim was actually a 13 year old in the cartoon, instead of being 16. her

design is adapted fairly closely to her original one from the show minus the midriff showing

because…I guess that'd be too sexual for a Disney Channel Original Movie in 2019.

We next get a few snippets of her in action or on some missions, which I'll get to later

in this video.

We've got a look at Wade, though not a very good one.

His set up is decidedly more advanced than we saw in the show, but then again that was

back in the early to mid 2000's; this is 2019.

Then good lord, we've got Drakken.

Who is…well, just…not good.

I think the actor certainly emulates the cartoon character fairly well, based on this small

trailer, but it looks like Disney cheaped out on actually making him blue.

Or giving him a costume that didn't look like cheap cosplay.

Yes, he does have these blueish veins on his face, but come on.

That's lazy as hell.

Either adapt the damn cartoon or don't bother.

Oh here's Shego next.

Also missing her, you know, green skin color.

But hey, green make up totally has the same effect, right?

We don't see too much of this actress in this trailer besides a few fight scenes, so

I've got zero idea how she acts.

This moment here confused some folks, since they couldn't figure out who these characters

next to Kim were.

Upon actually pausing the video, it's clearly her mom and Nana.

I think you could be forgiven for not making that connection since neither of them look

like their animated counterpart.

I have no idea what villains these are.

It's some all-female ninja group?

But aligned with Shego and probably Drakken?

Not sure if they're new, based on other characters, or Disney just didn't feel like

bringing Drakken's actual henchman into the series because…not enough women?

Dunno.

In an interesting move Disney actually did cast one of the show's voice actors, Patton

Oswalt, as his character Dementor.

If you had no idea that that was supposed to be Dementor, again don't feel bad.

He looks nothing like the character either.

Finally the trailer wraps up with a shot of Kim, Ron, and a brand new character.

Oh did you forget about Ron?

Cause while he does pop up in this trailer, it's very brief.

I get that this is our first look and thus they wanted to focus maybe more on the title

character, but Ron is a HUGE part of the show.

So it just doesn't feel right that he is cast to the side while other characters get

more of a spotlight.

Also, where's Rufus?

He's not in any of the scenes.

The naked mole rat is also NOT listed in the cast of this movie on Wikipedia, leading to

some speculation he isn't gonna be in the movie at all.

Which is a huge bummer.

Rufus and Ron are a great pair and much of the humor comes from their interactions and

the former's role on the team.

Was put a CG rat in the movie too hard for Disney?

Am I supposed to believe that the giant company Disney who is making more bank from the Marvel

movies than you or I will ever see in our collective lifespans…can't afford to do

the work to get Rufus into the movie?

Bull.

Crap.

Still as trailers go, I wouldn't rate this too low.

It doesn't really give away too much of the movie, but at the same time it would have

been nice to know a tiny bit more.

Like, what exactly the plot is?

Drakken talks about stealing what makes Kim who she is, so…clones?

Mind control?

Don't know, but there is a strange object in Shego's hand that looks like a Tesseract.

This is one of the few times I'd like to see more of the movie to determine if I'd

want to see it or not.

But wait, there's more!

Oh indeed, there is more.

This sneak peek also came out and if you had even the tiniest bit of faith in this movie,

this had to have blown it out of the water.

It looks so…low budget.

The choreography so lackluster and so many unnecessary moments, like the roll or shooting

her grappling hook to catch the stroller.

Why not just…alert the mom her baby is escaping?

It would have been quicker than what she ended up doing.

Also, as some others have pointed out…she runs real slow here for someone trying to

get to a bus on time.

Which she actually would not have technically gotten to because if you keep counting she

clearly exceeded the countdown.

Because…how would what she did help her get there quicker?

SMH.

But Archaic, the creator of the show is working on the movie!

Yup, he is, but that honestly means nothing these days.

In a world where George Lucas almost ruined his own franchise and JK Rowling keeps trying

to gain brownie points by including new elements into her books that were never there to begin

with thus tainting the memory of that book series, having the creator of something back

to work on their series is not a good indicator of quality.

So, final thoughts.

I had a small amount of hope for this movie, but it just doesn't look good based on the

trailer and the additional sneak peeks.

Kim Possible is not that hard a series to adapt.

There's nothing too terribly crazy in it that would require a crap ton of money to

produce and yet…the movie couldn't even get Drakken or Shego's skin colors right.

Nor could they apparently CGI a naked mole rat into the film.

The only decent thing I saw in these videos was the energy that Sean brought to the role

of Ron.

That's it.

Maybe you think I'm being too nitpicky.

But I'm not writing off the movie completely, not until I've seen it.

I just think it's really low effort for a company with billions of dollars in their

bank accounts.

What about you lords and ladies?

What were your opinions on the trailer for Kim Possible and its sneak peek?

Sound off below and I'll see you soon for more Cartoon hangout.

Thanks for watching, go buy the merch, and take care.

Hey! so I just came back from Atlanta and while I was there me and my cousins were like walking around the park

right, and than we came across this huuuge skatepark. there all these like hardcore skaters doing like ollies and kickflips and whatever

while we just like stared down on them from the side looking like total idiots

so we decided that we were ALSO gonna be cool and skate, but we didnt have any skateboards

so we just like ran up and down the ramps awkwardly and like, you know

And then like this big group of like try hard 10 year olds on scooters came up to us

and than they started yelling at us

saying that it was like a skate park, and that

you couldn't do that. and we like backed away because that's what you do when a group of like ten adults threatens you

with their scooters. anyway, so I was thinking about that whole scenario later,

and I was like: "wow that would make a really good video" and... I was wrong!

Why NASA Spun Astronauts Around, But Doesn't Any More - Duration: 3:13.

- I'm at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama,

and this is the Multi-Axis Trainer, or MAT.

Otherwise known as that spinny thing that astronauts get strapped into.

This is an icon of space exploration and space training.

And it looks really fun, or really terrifying,

depending on how close you are to it.

But what does it actually do?

- You ready? - No!

- Eyes open.

- Whoa.

- When you come to Space Camp, you typically

ride the MAT for no longer than 45 seconds.

The MAT spins on three different axes and three different rings.

The outer ring is locked. The centre ring is powered by a motor,

and then the inner ring is free spinning.

And then inside that is a chair that is also spinning on a different axis.

While you're riding the MAT, you don't spin in more than one direction

twice in a row, so you don't get dizzy or nauseous,

but you do get disoriented.

It's a very important difference that they feel.

As your stomach stays in the centre of rotation,

you're gonna get a lot of blood and momentum feeling

in your head and your feet.

Most people love the feeling of the Multi-Axis Trainer.

They love the feeling of being disoriented

without being dizzy, which is a really rare experience

for most roller coasters or simulators like this.

It's based off of something called the MASTIF,

which was used during the Mercury programme.

The MASTIF was actually a series of cages around a central chair.

The MAT is a series of rings.

During the 1960s, astronauts in the Mercury and Gemini programs

would need to train on something like the MASTIF

because of the shape of their vehicle.

It's a capsule and it would spin very erratically

if something were going wrong.

Unlike the Shuttle astronauts where they were in something more plane-shaped,

and so when something is going wrong in a plane

it doesn't act the same.

- So the Mercury astronauts weren't just strapped

into this thing's big brother to disorient them.

It was training, if something -- oh! -- like this is happening in space,

then your mission has gone disastrously wrong.

In training, they would be spun up to anything up to 30 revolutions a minute,

much faster than this, with much higher G forces.

And then the trainer would hand the controls over to them.

The astronaut's chair would [groans]

have controls on it connected to nitrogen gas thrusters.

They would have to work out which way they were spinning

in three dimensions, in real time. [groans]

And then they would have to figure out how to make it stop.

For me, it's a little bit easier.

Could we uh, could we make this stop, please?

- The MAT was never used to actually train astronauts.

We only use it as a simulator here at Space Camp.

I've actually ridden the MAT as well.

We had to do it for training.

I like to say that most people don't get dizzy,

because there are some people who do.

I'm one of them!

- I completely forgot to do the outro.

Could we go again, please?

- If you're good.

- [groans] Oh, there we go.

Thank you very much to all the team at Space Camp.

You can find out more about them

at the links on screen or in the description.

[laughs] Yeah, I'm done.

I am very much done.

Lots happened but I'm okay - Duration: 6:54.

Hey everyone, I'm Lauren Elloise (in case you forgot, I hope you didn't) but I really

missed you guys. I hope you're all well. It's summer in Australia right now and

it's like 30-something degrees in this shed so it's really hot. Oh yeah, new

background. I'm in a new– I'm in my granny flat! I wanted to do like a little

catch-up video for you today. I know it's not like required for me to make an

explanation of where I've been but I think you guys would appreciate that

just so like we know. There are some things I need to address. Before we start

I want to let you know that I am so grateful for 10,000. Oh my god, thank you

so much. If you don't watch to the end I'll just say what the main thing that has

happened is: I'm grieving. I look happy when I say that. I'm going through some

shit man. It's really hard but we're getting there. So... all of my rats have

passed away. Two of them I lost earlier this year and I spent a good amount of

time grieving. At the same time I was doing a lot of extra stuff outside of

work (like an idiot). I didn't realise at the time that I was burning out. I was

doing umpiring, I was freelancing, I was just doing way too much. And Natalie had

to say like "Lauren you got to stop doing something. This is just– it's not

acceptable to be doing this much stuff." So I burnt out. I was feeling a lot of

pressure to not only do these things outside of work but also to create

videos. You would have seen I did a Rat Care 101 series. I was really pushing

myself to make that so good, and it worked because a lot of people found me through

those, but um it just wasn't making me happy and I needed to take a step back.

At the same time I wasn't seeing Natalie very often because she was studying and

I was doing all of the outside of work stuff and that made me sad as well. But

then I was ready to come back. Around August, I filmed like a video where I was

like "Yeah guys, I missed you, I'm ready to come back, let's do this!" and then two or

three more shit things happened. Basically I lost clove. She

passed away I had to take her to the vet to say goodbye because I knew it was her

time. I'm still grieving that honestly. I've also been grieving the loss of my

relationship. I'm not in a relationship anymore and I don't really want to share

in depth why. That's between me and Natalie but um we're on good terms. I

still respect her. I expect you guys to respect her and me. I know a lot of you

won't say any crap stuff but I just want to make sure you don't do that. I'm

trying to keep it light but it hurts and anyone who's gone through a breakup

would know how much it hurts. It just hurts a lot more because she wasn't just

my partner, she was also my best friend. I am trying so hard to heal. I've

actually been reading– My good friend Phoebe recommended me this book. It

explains the each stage of being abandoned. It also explains like

biologically what's going on in your head with like hormones and chemicals.

Read it. Whilst I was suffering the loss of my rat and loss of my partner, my

parents went on holidays for two weeks and I was left in the house completely

alone and I hit rock bottom, to be honest. That's the worst I've ever felt in my

life. That's the worst I'm probably ever gonna feel in my life. I had to say to my

friends like "Hey, please can I come over and have dinner with you guys and can

you come here to have dinner with me because I can't be left alone." And that

was really hard to reach out to people to tell them that I was struggling. But

if you're my friend and you're watching this, please message

me, let's hang out. I really need to get out. I'm just trying to keep myself busy.

Slowly but surely we're getting out of that real bottom and I don't know. I just

got to keep pushing forward. Just keep going. I really wanted to say thank you

to everyone who messaged me during that time because it means so much to me like–

To have people who care about me that deeply, I can't, I can't explain it. I also

moved out into my granny flat so now I'm here alone. That was really, really hard

to adjust to at first but I'm actually loving it. It's so good. I'm gonna do a

like room tour for sure. Okay? So watching out for that.

So with the remainder of this video I wanted to it like address a few things

that I think you will ask. And also kind of set some boundaries. But I think you guys

want to know if like I'm back. Like back-back. I'm gonna take it really

slow because I am still depressed but um she back! I also think you're gonna ask

what's gonna happen with my old videos because I'm not in a relationship

anymore and I put it online (and I know that was dumb)

but we both are still comfortable with the ones that we have online so. It just

shows the journey of my life, I think. I've been seeing my therapist. I wanted

to include that in there. It's so important, if you ever go through

something like this you've got to talk to a professional.

It helps so much. I think you'll also ask will I be posting any more rat videos.

I won't be posting ones with rats in them because I don't have rats anymore

but there is a video I did make for Clove's second birthday. I want to edit

that and post that so I will. So you will definitely see that. I just want to wait

a little bit longer because it hurts to watch film back. I think there might be

some comments like "What happened between you and Nat, who did what, what happened etc"

and that's got to be a boundary. I'm not sharing that online, okay? I'm

heartbroken, that's all you need to know. As always if you do have any questions,

you are welcome to comment them below. I will answer. If you message me on like my

social media I'll also reply to that. Yeah, how have been? I hope you guys

are well. I've seriously missed you guys. It's weird because I know we don't know each

other or like see each other, but I miss hearing from you or like seeing your

messages pop up in Instagram. I've actually missed you guys and I didn't

realise until I started coming back on Instagram again and I think I will

realise the impact when I post this too. I'll be like OMG but I

seriously hope you are well. I hope 2019 is good to you as well. I'll

see you guys really soon in a new video. Give this a Like if you missed me.

I'll see you guys next time. Bye!

2018 Was Awful, But Glimmers Of Hope Are Shining Through - Duration: 5:08.

Well, folks at this point, we're just a few hours away from the official end of the year

2018, and by most measures, this has been a really crappy year.

Not just because of the insanity that is sitting in the White House today, but because of everything

that has happened throughout this country, first and foremost, the children being locked

up in cages along our border that children dying in cages locked up down on our border.

Um, the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, the overall takeover of the entire court system

by the Republican Party, um, the climate report that shows that we're 12 years away from being

able to even do anything about this, uh, at that point.

Not much we can do except kickback and welcomed catastrophe.

A lot of horrible things, many more than what I mentioned, but you know, it's easy to sit

here and focus on all the horribleness.

You know, we could do a complete video series on all of the bad things that have happened

this year.

In fact, looking back at all of our videos, that's essentially what it was.

We don't very often get to talk about things that give us hope or things that were good

or things that, hey, maybe this shows there is a little bit of hope for this country,

but that's exactly what we're going to do right now because as we close out this year

and we understand that the horrible things are still happening.

We also have to.

I mean for the sake of our own sanity, at some point, sit and talk about the good things

that happen this year and there weren't many, but the one that stands out to me as the most

important good thing that happened this year was what the midterms meant.

Not just that the Democrats took back the House of Representatives.

Everybody knew that was going to happen.

History told us that was gonna happen.

So it's not that they took it back.

It's who took it back.

And the answer to that is the progressive's.

The people who ran on issues.

The people who seemed like such outsider, such nobody's who have come in and already

reshaped the Democratic Agenda for the year 20, 19.

And you know the folks I'm talking about, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tliab and

many others who were just elected.

People never thought they would be there.

And here they are, working class heroes, true progressives that have come in there before

even being sworn in and reshape things.

And yes, while it's true that the establishment Democrats have already kind of tamp down their

efforts on the Green New Deal, it is by no means dead.

It is by no means put on the backburner.

These people are going to push because that's what they do because that's the big takeaway

from 2018.

It's that fighting back, pushing back works.

So if you take only one message from this past year, let it be this, do not get so overwhelmed

that you think everything is hopeless.

Do not stop fighting, do not stop pushing, do not stop caring because what we saw happen

in those midterms is a direct result of that of people who said, you know what?

Things suck, but I know how to make them better.

I have a plan and if I can get enough people to come along with me, we can make this plan

a reality.

Look at the poll numbers right now.

Medicare for all tuition free, college action on climate change, support for green, new

deal.

Everyone, majority of everyone in this country, regardless of political party supports those

and that's because we've pushed them.

That's because these new members of Congress ran on these issues and they're not letting

up.

2018 was a lot of bad things, but the best part of the year is the fact that we learned

that fighting back, that not giving up and that focusing on policies that help everyone.

Not just one political party but everyone focusing on those is a winning issue.

So let's take that winning spirit.

This new found, you know, energy into 2019 and make 2019 what it needs to be instead

of sitting back and letting the corporate media control the narrative, letting Donald

Trump's insanity destroy our own sanity.

And let's use the lesson of 2018.

Carry it to 2019.

Continue fighting, continue pushing left until we finally get policies that benefit everyone.

We know we can do it because we did it in 2018.

Dad's horror after buying doll with realistic penis - but not everyone agrees - Duration: 5:18.

A dad was horrified after ordering dolls with realistic penises and vaginas for his child - and it's sparked debate on how much kids should know about the human body

The dad said that he didn't think the dolls with private parts were "child-friendly" and wouldn't want his daughter to have a doll with a penis

Raynell Miller, based in Florida, wrote on Facebook : "Smh so I bust open this box of twin dolls I ordered online for my baby and Lawd have mercy is this is what the world comes too now? Making dolls with the actual private parts for children?  "When I purchased them, they came with various doll accessories to go with the dolls and the reviews didn't mention about anything about the extra stuff so I guess I just thought they were child friendly

But silly me huh lol Man moaning it's 'disgusting' when women talk about periods sent graphic stories  "I'm glad I examined them before she got a chance to play with it!! Granted, the girl doll would have been fine since she has that part but my lil girl ain't ready to be playing with dolls who has their d**** out

"  The post has since gone viral and been shared more than 7,000 times

While a few parents agreed with the dad, thousands commented to say that they see no issue with the realistic dolls

One wrote: "Children should know the difference between private parts"

Someone else agreed: "Cause learning proper anatomy is so awful

lol".  A third said: "I don't see a problem with it

That's awesome. Kids need to learn about their bodies

"  Another pointed out that dolls with realistic genitals have existed for a long time: "There is nothing 'new' about these dolls

We had these in 1989. I had the boy version

My sister had the girl version

GROW UP". Doctor says there are two types of children - 'orchids' and 'dandelions'  Other parents added that children might see their parents without clothes on or siblings if they're having a nappy changed, for example - so didn't see why the dad was so bothered by the dolls

Not much gets past kids, and some start asking from an early age about how the human body works - which is totally normal

Having those birds and the bees chats with children is never easy, but experts recommend being open and honest

Clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Maddox previously told the Mirror Online that kids will be curious about private parts from a young age - but it's "without the sexual overtones used by adults"

She recommends using the correct anatomical names without embarrassment

Cancer patient who "filled cups with blood but wasn't diagnosed for months' dies - Duration: 8:32.

A newly-wed who allegedly wasn't diagnosed with bowel cancer for 10 months despite "filling cups with blood" when she went to the toilet, has died

Gemma Epstein, who married two days before dying on December 20, was told by doctors to "take each day as it comes"

She was fighting for her life and had to pay around £2,000 a month for drugs she could not get on the NHS

Her family had also set up a fundraising page to try and raise the cash for last-ditch treatment in Germany that they hoped could help her

However, Gemma died just before Christmas as the cancer was so aggressive that no treatment could help her

Gemma had started paying for Avastin in the hope it would shrink her tumours, as she had been told by the NHS she could not have the drug because they no longer use it

"Well known" footballer faces driving ban after 'overtaking police car at 125mph'    On December 12, Gemma was told the cancer was too aggressive for Avastin to work on its own without chemotherapy

Eight days later, her sister, Becky Epstein uploaded an emotional post to Facebook confirming her death

She said: "Gemma passed away this morning at 8am with her husband by her side

"An unbelievably beautiful, courageous and inspirational lady who touched so many people throughout her life

"We are so very proud of how bravely and fiercely she fought her illness, right until the very end, she is now at peace

"RIP my beautiful big sister "  Tributes poured in online from those who knew Gemma

Policeman 'punched and bitten' in street attack horror as passerby tries to intervene    Speaking today, sister Becky, 34, said: "The doctor told her no more Avastin, no more chemo

Take each day as it comes. She broke down

"She deteriorated every day and we didn't know how long she had left

"The day before she died, she said 'I don't think I will be here tomorrow'

"  Becky said that despite her sister appearing to know her fate, it was still a shock when she died

"Nothing can prepare you for that

It was such a shock.  "It is such a shame

We didn't even have enough time to get used to her new name

"  Gemma had married her partner Ben Greenwood at Pendleside Hospice in Burnley, Lancashire two days before her death

Gemma, from Middleton, Greater Manchester, first went to her doctor in the spring of 2015

The 37-year-old had visited a number of GPs and walk-in centres over a ten month period before her diagnosis but could not get answers

It was not until April 2016, after repeated visits to GP practices in NHS Greater Manchester and NHS England North, that Gemma was finally referred to a consultant

Pippa Middleton's baby doted on by grandfather during family visit to Caribbean    Speaking earlier this month Becky described what Gemma was going through

She said: "She was going to the GP in pain and she was filling cups full of blood

"They kept telling her nothing was wrong and they couldn't find anything

"If the cancer was caught sooner it would have been operated on sooner

"  Gemma's funeral will take place in Haslingden, Lancashire, where she lived, on Monday January 7

NHS England has been approached for comment
