when it comes to money, well, this how much money i have made in 100 videos
in about 5 months
Olá YouTube, my name is Ricardo Lino and I´m a
wheels addict, today I´m gonna tell you why i started
this YouTube channel, was it the money?
well, i do make some money out of YouTube but if you want to see how much money i make
from YouTube you gonna need to wait for the end of the
video i will show you exactly how much money i made
over the last 5 months which i made around 100 videos
i´m pretty sure most of you realised that i got
this passion for skating so thats the main reason why i started this
channel and since i also do videos
thats would be like putting 2 things that together
and i think thats the main reason why i started this YouTube channel
but if you know me if you ever skated with me, you know like
i just can´t watch you trying a trick if i see something wrong, I'll tell you
i can't, i just can't look at you doing something seeing that something is not right or something
should be different sometimes, I'm sorry if you ever skated with
me and i gave you the feedback that you didn't want to hear
but thats me, i just can't watch you doing something
which i think its wrong and not tell you when i started this YouTube channel, that
was on of the main goals. for those of you who don't know
i started skating around.. I'm 36, i started skating 33 years ago
and when i was around 5 years old i started speed skating
when i was around 13 years old i started coaching kids how to skate
teach them how to skate properly it was speed skating, so
we were focusing on technique and all that stuff
and when i was about 15 years old, thats when i first started
like street skating and thats also when i couldn't stop myself from telling my
friends of how to do this or that trick
and thats kept going and going and going and it went to a place that i actually
was the only thing that made me wanna study i didn´t want to study , i used to hate going
to school and nowadays i love learning, but i sued to
hate going to school and i even stopped studying for one year,
before i go to university and my parents made me somehow realise i would
need it if i wanted to what i really love to
and thats what i do right now so, yes the main reason why i started this
YouTube channel is because i love skating and i want to somehow
give my input to this thing that i just love which is wheels, it´s not just skating
because i ended up starting to ride bikes as some of you might know
so, i have a wheel addiction and this is my way to express
what i do on the wheels or my knowledge or give you my feedback
it's my way to give back to this things , these wheel things
thats give me so much joy yes i did went to university, i did studied
something like i told you before and what i did study was to be a sports teacher
basically, i got a degree in sports science and when i first finished i though i was going
to teach in a school i even started working in a gym and before
that i used to be a professional skater, yeah
i used to get payed to skate by USD and when i first finished my graduation i
though no, this is the time that i wanna focus on
something i have studied and i completely, got out of skating and tried
to focus on what i have studied,
was it right? well, i don't think so. if it was right i
would keep doing it nowadays and thats not what i do nowadays
basically what i did is witch time ended up putting
my passion and what i have studied together and that´s what i do nowadays
basically i work with brands, i don't know i can consider myself a professional skater
anymore. i don´t get payed as a USD skater or as a
POWERSLIDE skater or anything like that
but i do work with them as a product developer i test some of the products, i give my feedback
i also work with with social media management with some skating brands nowadays
so basically i ended up putting together everything that i have been doing my whole
life i think since i remember me, i have been somehow
connected to wheels and wheels completely changed my life
like, why am i in South Africa? first time i came to South Africa was for
a skate show and i came for a skate show because i was
working with a brand and i wanted to show them what a successful
skate show was and i ended up meeting my wife,
the mother of my daughter coming in 2 months so, i think you ended up realising.
all this passion that i have for skating its the main reason why i started
also, as someone who work with social media on the daily basis like i do
i work with instagram, facebook and lately more with youtube
i ended up realising that, yes have as in the skating industry,
we have really strong characters on instagram and we have really strong characters on facebook
but somehow there was something missing on youtube
i am not saying that i am that person but if i can give my
if i can somehow bring something into skating with my passion for video making and for skating
and my knowledge from skating thats what I´m trying to do
why do i post almost daily? well, over the last 2 months
i have been posting almost daily and the reason why i post almost daily
off course, is i have so manny things to say but other then that i have been
also trying to learn about the YouTube algorithm I'm trying to use the Youtube algorithm in
my advantage as a way to promote skating
what do i mean by this? well, the more video i post, the more YouTube
is going to suggest my videos to YouTube users
and we all know that youtube have so many users
By suggesting my videos, I might be showing skating
or a certain type of skating or a certain type of wheel riding
if you wanna call it to someone who haven´t seen it before
so its kinda like my way of helping skating pushing skating, showing skating to different
people lately, about like 2 weeks ago, i started
realising that i can also put some subtitles on my videos
and then if theres subtitles on my videos people from all over the world can just translate
it is the translation correct?
well, it's not really perfect its not really perfect
but it does work, so if you´re in Indonesia or if you're in China or if you're in South
America and if you speak Spanish or even in Portugal
i could be speaking in Portuguese but theres a lot less people
speaking Portuguese, so i think its going to be a lot
more productive if i do something in english and then you can
translate it from the english and at least you can
you can understand what i'm trying to do or what i´m trying to say
basically the reason why i started this YouTube is to get a lot more
closer to a lot of skaters and to have my knowledge helping you
if you're starting or even to make you start skating if you never though about skating
showing skating or showing you this types of using the wheels
why do i do all this different shit in my channel?
yes , i also wanna catch some attention, thats why sometimes
i do some weird things but, i do love those things
and thats me, if you know me or if you ever met me
you know like i don't like to do the traditional way , i
don't like to skate the skates the same way
i don't like the same type of tricks i mean, i do like them
but i have been skating for so long that sometimes i find a lot more joy in trying
new things and like, creating new skates, creating new
ways of wheel riding, sometimes its just my way of expressing my
creativity and to have fun
and then if i can show them to you and somehow make you feel inspired to try something
thats what i am doing with this videos when it comes to money, well
this is how much money i have made in 100 videos in about 5 months
well, you saw it now that money is not even enough for me to buy
an action camera i can´t really complain about video material
it´s an investment i have been doing over the last few years
but i don't even have an action camera i lost my go pro last year in Indonesia
when i went for holidays with Janice and i never really bough an action camera
i do want one but, lets see when youtube is going to give me
an action camera, when do i make enough money to buy
an action camera what can you do to support what i'm doing?
well, i don't expect anyone to put money in what i do.
but i want you to understand that what i´m trying to do
here with this youtube channel is to bring skating
to more people, i want more people to see skating
and people that never saw skating, people that used to skate
or just more people to see skating and to see different people skating
see different types of skating and different types of wheel use
because its not only just just skating , there´s also some bike riding every now and then
or ill, i skateboard i don't have tabus about using other type,
other wheels i just love having fun with this thing
so thats what i do and if you want to support what i do and what
i mean by support it's not money
like, just give it a like to my videos when you give it a like whats going to happen
is that the more likes i have in videos, the more YouTube
is going to suggest my videos and more they suggest my videos
the more i'm doing my work with YouTube better the more i'm spreading skating or this wheel
passion that i have i believe that you have too

5 6 7 hours nowadays i can do it in 2 because
i have been learning different ways because im doing it so often
that i end up getting a lot better with it so yes, i'm enjoying it a lot
it takes a lot of my time, sometimes my videos go
i would say like, in between 1 and a half hours
3 hours to sometimes 6 7 hours to edit the videos
plus the filming time if you think about it
its not as easy as i have a wife, she´s 7 months pregnant
i try to do it when i get home, later at night or sometimes during the day i try to organise
my day that i have a little bit of time to do this
videos and thats it,
i hope you understand what I'm doing here and
hey start your own YouTube channel use this platform that has so manny users
and if you learn how to work with it man, its going to show what you doing
your passion to other people with the same passion
because thats what the algorithm does if you have, if you like this type of thing
and if you look at this type of videos they will show you more videos from the same
type of thing so, basically start something
if its not wheels, if its not skating, it doesn't matter
start doing something money? well, we all need money
i don't live from the videos that i do on Youtube
but this will make you better use this as a way to show what your capable
of not everything is about money right there
think of it as a way for you to learn something and yes, learning it's good
i used, like i told you before it used to be a sacrifice to go to school
to me, but the truth is i have learned a lot from school and
the sooner you finish school the faster you can start learning
what you really want to specialise on something and that what i have been doing here
and that's what i have been trying to help you here too
because a lot of people nowadays use YouTube to learn new skills
and I'm trying to , I'm trying with my experience to teach you some new skills
so, right now you just learned why i used YouTube
and you might be inspired to start something i hope you did, well if you didn't

Renovating Mature Fruit Trees - Part 1 - Duration: 4:25.
Do you have an old, neglected fruit tree in your
yard and you're not sure what to do with
it? Well here's the good news, you can
renovate it and start enjoying that
heirloom fruit again, I'll show you how.
Before you begin you'll need to decide
if the tree is worth saving. Does it
produce fruit that you enjoyed using or
would it be better to replace it with
another variety. Does it have a sound
trunk that is free from rot? Is it
plagued by fire blight scab or other
diseases. If you're tree is hollow or
severely diseased renovating it won't
help it live much longer. The major
pruning involved in restoration could
stress it to the point of killing it, or
if successful can result in the now
heavy fruit load breaking unsound
branches. Keeping a disease or insect
infested tree may also be a risk to
nearby healthy trees. If your tree has
serious problems you may want to just
replace it rather than rejuvenate it. If
it's an heirloom variety that you like
you may want to take some cuttings
before taking the tree down and you can
propagate later. The other consideration
is the type of fruit tree that you want
to renovate. Pears and apples can be most
successfully renovated. Cherries peaches
and nectarines are difficult to renovate.
It's typically easier to just replace
them. Whatever kind of tree you're
working on the renovation process will
take three to four years to complete. The
first step is to cut off any dead wood
or branches and this can be done anytime
of year but in the summer it's a little
bit easier see which branches are
dead and which ones are alive.
You also want to cut any suckers off
growing from the bottom of the trunk or
up from the ground. It's almost time to really
get started pruning. The second step
should be done during the winter. Before
you begin reshaping and resizing your
tree step back and assess what you have
to work with and how you want it to look
in a few years, when you're finished with
the restoration. You might want to mark
the branches you want to keep with
weather resistant tags so you won't get
carried away or forget the plan later in
the process. In the first year you will
focus on removing up to one-third of the
branches. Focusing on the branches that
give too much height to the tree and to
branches that are growing downwards or
in towards the trunk. You should also
remove the crossing and rubbing branches.
When pruning for restoration, prune the
branches all the way to their point of
origin, not halfway along the branch.
Remove any water sprouts that have grown
in the upper level of the canopy, lower
water sprouts can be thinned if needed,
but otherwise left alone to become fruit-
bearing branches in a few years. If these
branches are growing upwards use limb
spreaders to train them to grow at a 60
to 90 degree angle. You should also thin
out the smaller branches to increase air
circulation and sunlight within the
canopy. Always select for horizontal or
upward angle branches that are growing
away from the trunk. The best fruit
production will come from branches
younger than 4 years old, so when
deciding between two similar branches
choose the younger. The final thinned
spacing should have about one and a half
to two feet between branches. Never cut
more than one third of the canopy of the
tree. That won't help you renovate any
faster, in fact cutting too much will
actually make the tree re-grow faster
and too much. So here in the first winter
we've controlled the height of the tree
by pruning a lot of the taller branches.
We've cut all the dead branches off.
We're going to continue to prune a
little bit more with crossover branches
and branches growing into the tree but
no more than one-third of the canopy. For
the removal of a very large branch or
very tall branches, you should get the
help of a Certified Arborist. Stay tuned

the restoration of this mature fruit
tree and grow organic for life!

Have you ever fallen for someone you
can't have? Maybe it was someone who was
already in a relationship or married?
Maybe it was someone who you really liked
but they just didn't like you back, or
maybe it was someone who lives so far
away that there was just a very low
chance it was ever going to work out. I
want you to keep watching this video if
that's you because I'm going to talk
about why it is that we sometimes fall
for people that we can't have, secondly
how it can even be self-sabotage
sometimes, and lastly how you can avoid
it going forward. I'm Ben Alexander from
The Legends Academy we helped men with
their confidence dating and
relationships and financial freedom and
today we're talking about why we
sometimes fall for people that we can't
have. Now the reason that this happens is
because you have convinced yourself that
that person that you're falling for is
your only chance or your only option or
your best option. Now let's think about
this for a second just to check if what
I'm saying is true. If you could meet
anyone anywhere (and knowing that on the
whole planet there's so many great
people around), then why would you waste
your time and your energy chasing after
someone that you couldn't have? Now think
about that for a second...why would you
waste all of your time and energy
pursuing someone that doesn't want you
back, or is unavailable, if you could meet
anyone anywhere all the time? Alright so
that's the real problem that's the first
problem. The first problem is although
you might have convinced yourself and
told yourself and said "Oh this is the
only person for me" you know "I've never
connected with anyone this well before"
or it just you know "it's meant to be
it's just she's with the wrong person or
he's with the wrong person" or whatever
it is you're deluding yourself and
telling yourself that they're the only
chance you have out of the whole planet,
all right? Now obviously if you believe
that, you're going to carry on trying to
get someone who doesn't want you back or
that that's already taken, all right? So
that is going to cause you a lot of pain
a lot of agony because you're trying to
force something that's never really
going to work out. Now the second thing I
want to talk about is how it could
sometimes be self-sabotage, now there are
people that on an unconscious level,
meaning that in their mind without them
consciously being aware of it, they're
actually on-purpose looking for
situations where it can never really
work out. There's a very low chance or no
chance that they'll actually ever have
success in that area. And the reason they
do that is if they find someone who's
already taken or live so far away or who
doesn't like them back,
then they can say "oh well it was
never going to happen anyway" so if it
doesn't work out down the track they can
always just say "oh well it wasn't my
fault because you know they were already
married or you know they live so far
away it wasn't my fault it didn't work
out". So they're actually looking for an
excuse or a reason to tell themselves
why you know it doesn't actually work
out so they can sort of let themselves
off the hook in the end. Now the last
thing I want to talk about today is how
you can avoid falling for people that
you can't have. So the first thing to
remember is like what I said at the
start is stop deluding yourself if you
think that that one person is the only
person you ever have a chance with stop
doing that to yourself. The second thing
is if you don't already have the
confidence or the social skills to go
out and meet anyone anywhere, then you
need to do that so you need to find like
a great dating coach or someone like
that that can give you the confidence
and the social skills so you can meet
anyone anywhere. You can meet people
walking down the street, in the
supermarket, at the movie theater, at the
beach, at work, you can meet anyone
anywhere because when you can meet
anyone anywhere, you then completely
massively open up all of your options.
Instead of just having that one option
with that one person, you now can meet,
basically anyone that you can meet is an
option for you now, and if you like them
enough and if you have a good connection
there, then you have the social skills
and the dating skills for example to
move it forward and make it what make
what you want of it. When you can meet
anyone anywhere something really
interesting is going to happen. Because
you're going to be meeting great people
all the time you're going to start to
meet people where you say "oh well that
person I met actually has this thing
that I like a lot better about the other
person" or "this person doesn't have that
thing that kind of used to annoy me
about that person I was hung up on, you
know I've met so many people now that
all have these qualities" and that person
that you are hung up on actually starts
to look like a less attractive option
because you think well "why would I
compromise this and why would I
compromise that when I can just choose
anyone that I want to meet all the time?"
Alright? So you stop limiting yourself to
that one person you open up the whole
world of options you meet all these
other great people and then before you
know it you've usually met at least one
or many more other people that are much
more attractive and a much better fit in
a better option for you than that that
other person that you were kind of stuck
