I wanted to join Victoria Police many years ago.
When I was 21 I actually applied
and was moving through the progress and found out I was having my son
so unfortunately I had to put everything on hold.
But it's that dream that's been burning in me for many years.
I finally applied. It was the best thing I could have done
within six months I was in the academy.
What makes a good police officer is someone who is mature
someone who is confident, somebody who is willing to be challenged
and hasn't gone in blindly.
Young people can have a wealth of life experience
and what they bring to the job, and what they bring to
the role will be of benefit to the community and to Victoria Police.
Have your family involved too. Have them understand that this is a way of life.
It's not an easy job, it can be a very hard job.
But it is a very worthwhile job as well.
If someone was applying to become a Victoria Police Officer, I would say go for it.

What We Do When We Hesitate to Reach Our Hope? - Duration: 2:37.
okay
so,
hello guys, this is my first time video
and, today
we are at the 5.54
and today, i'm gonna tell
and i wanna make this video as an aspirational video
so, because aspiration needs to be respected
everyone has their own personal aspiration and that's why, we are all need to respect
to what every people opinion, which is may not good
which is may good, but that's, that were their own opinion;
and today, my opinion is about
i wrote down in a book,
and it is about
we need
you need
to do something
not to wait, for the right time
but, try, as now as possible
which is it may not a good time for us to do, but this is the time
don't wait
because, if we wait on something
we cannot get and we cannot achieve what we hope
because, what may we want it may not be achieveable
because it just our want
but, if our want turn to our what we hope to get it
and we do it
now
do
ask
pray to God
"i want to have this."
and find the way
and then, execute it
and then,we will get what we want
it never
everything never come, if you only wait
thank you.

The Talk - Do We Censor Ourselves For Other People? - Duration: 4:03.
OUR TOP TALKER IS A BUSINESS WOMAN AND A PHILANTHROPIST WHO,
IN 2009, FOUNDED THE CHARITY, BLEEP CANCER.
IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING, BLEEP IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD, CURSE,
THAT I CAN'T SAY ON TV. YOU FIGURE IT OUT.
YOU'VE HEARD THE WORD.
IN HER LATEST VENTURE, THE MOTHER OF TWO YOUNG BOYS HAS
CREATED MOTHER LUCKER, A WEBSITE DEDICATED TO HONEST,
REAL, AND FUNNY CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THE TRIALS OF PARENTING.
PLEASE WELCOME YAEL BRAUN.
YAEL, WELCOME.
ALL RIGHT, WHAT'S EVERYONE TALKING ABOUT?
YAEL: EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT CHRISSY TEIGEN, ONCE AGAIN
SAYING WHAT EVERYONE IS THINKING.
IN THIS MONTH'S "GLAMOUR," SHE OPENED UP ABOUT HER POSTPARTUM
DEPRESSION. THANK YOU, GIRL.
IN A BEAUTIFUL AND VULNERABLE ESSAY.
SO CHRISSY ISN'T THE FIRST CELEBRITY TO OPEN UP ABOUT
THIS. SHE'S HOPEFULLY NOT THE LAST.
BUT IT MAKES YOU WONDER IF A SELF-PROCLAIMED OVERSHARER LIKE
CHRISSY, WHO TELLS THE INTERNET EVERY TIME SHE HAS AN ITCH OR
GOT FRISKY WITH HER HUSBAND DIDN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE SHARING
THIS FOR ALMOST A YEAR, WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT OUR
CULTURE?
SO MY QUESTION FOR YOU LADIES IS, WHY DO YOU THINK IT TOOK
SOMEONE AS OPEN AND REAL AND AMAZING AS CHRISSY THIS LONG TO
SHARE?
YOU KNOW, DO YOU THINK THAT WE SENSOR OURSELVES SOMETIMES FOR
THE COMFORT OF OTHER PEOPLE?
AISHA: YOU KNOW, SHE'S REALLY AN OPEN PERSON, BUT I DO THINK
THAT SOMETIMES WHEN YOU'RE GOING THROUGH SOMETHING
DIFFICULT, YOU NEED A WHILE TO PROCESS IT YOURSELF.
YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS.
AND YOU NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IT IS BEFORE YOU CAN ARTICULATE
IT TO OTHERS. AND I THINK FOR HER, HER AND
HER HUSBAND WENT THROUGH A LOT TO GET PREGNANT, AND THEN TO
HAVE THIS THING HAPPEN THAT'S SUPPOSED TO FEEL JOYOUS, AND IT
DOESN'T FEEL JOYOUS, THAT'S CONFUSING.
BUT I THINK PEOPLE FEEL LIKE THEY'RE ENTITLED TO KNOW EVERY
SINGLE DETAIL OF EVERY FAMOUS PERSON'S LIFE.
IT'S NOT TRUE.
LIKE, SHE DOESN'T OWE ANYBODY ANYTHING UNTIL SHE'S READY TO
TALK ABOUT IT.
[APPLAUSE] SARA: YEAH, I AGREE.
I DON'T DO ANYTHING FOR ANYBODY'S COMFORT, REALLY.
EXCEPT MY OWN.
BUT I FEEL LIKE SOMETIMES IF I DON'T SHARE SOMETHING, IT'S
BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO BE KNOWN AS THAT PERSON INSTEAD OF
KNOWN FOR YOUR WORK.
LIKE AS SOON AS YOU SAY I'M THE ONE WITH ANXIETY, POSTPARTUM
DEPRESSION, I'M THE ONE WITH DEPRESSION, WHATEVER IT IS,
THAT'S SORT OF ALWAYS PAIRED WITH YOUR NAME GOING FORWARD.
AND I THINK YOU HAVE TO DECIDE, IT'S A VERY BRAVE THING TO DO,
BECAUSE IT HELPS A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE IN THE SAME
SITUATION.
BUT YOU HAVE TO DECIDE IF THAT'S THE LENS THROUGH WHICH
YOU WANT TO BE SEEN.
>> IT'S A FINE LINE.
IT'S HARD.
WITH US ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND WHATNOT, YOU HAVE THIS FACE YOU
HAVE TO PUT UP FOR YOUR FANS, BUT IT IS GOOD TO SOMETIMES,
ESPECIALLY IN CERTAIN SITUATIONS LIKE THIS, TO SHARE
THOSE SITUATIONS WITH OTHER PEOPLE.
BECAUSE I THINK THAT HELPS PEOPLE THROUGH THEIR STRUGGLES,
YOU KNOW, AND KIND OF GETS IT OUT THERE AND STARTS THE TALK,
IF YOU WILL, ABOUT IT.
AISHA: HEY ANDMENT -- HEY!
NICELY DONE!
JULIE: WHAT DO YOU THINK? I FEEL LIKE WOMEN TALK CANDIDLY
WITH OTHER WOMEN. A GUY COMES IN THE ROOM, AND WE
SENSOR OURSELVES BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT THE GUY -- CENSOR
OURSELVES BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT THE GUY FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE
TALKING ABOUT OUR CYCLES OR WHATEVER.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
YAEL: I THINK IT'S REALLY INTERESTING, BECAUSE YOU'RE
GOING TO BE KNOWN FOR SO MUCH, AND IF YOU HAVE A PLATFORM,
THERE ARE SO MANY WOMEN WHO DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE ABOUT
THESE THINGS. WHETHER IT'S WOMEN OR WHATEVER
THE ISSUE IS, IF YOU CAN HELP START THAT CONVERSATION, IF YOU
CAN BE VULNERABLE AND BRAVE ENOUGH, I THINK IT'S PART OF
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IN SOME CASES.
BUT SHE SHARES EVERYTHING, YOU KNOW?
SO YOU HAVE TO ASK WHY. AISHA: SHE JUST WASN'T READY.
TO FEEL ANXIOUS ABOUT BEING A MOTHER, TO FEEL PAIN AROUND
THAT HAS GOT TO BE A REALLY CONFUSING STATE TO BE IN.
AND YOU WANT TO GET TO A PLACE WHERE YOU FEEL HEALTHY ENOUGH
TO SHARE IT AND BE STRONG, TO SAY I GOT THROUGH IT, AND YOU
CAN TOO.
[APPLAUSE] JULIE: YAEL BRAUN, THANK YOU.

Best Sports Car Under $10,000 - Duration: 6:44.
in this corner we have the 2001 mazda
miata with a whopping 142 horsepower in
this corner we have a 2005 porsche
boxster with 240 horsepower stick around
to find out which is the best roadster
for under ten thousand dollars welcome
back to RevMatch this is your first
time here I do car reviews and how to so
hit that subscribe button to hit that
little bell this 2001 Miata cost the
owner about seven thousand dollars and
you might be thinking that's a lot for
2001 and it is but this car is flying me
out of coilovers it's got a roll bar and
it's got a hardtop as well this car was
originally about twenty one thousand
dollars new in addition to the purchase
price of about seven thousand dollars
this car is about fourteen hundred
dollars worth of work into it including
a new clutch a new flywheel so we're
going to call this car eighty four
hundred dollars worth of car this 2005
porsche boxster was purchased for about
seven eight hundred dollars now the
transmission was broken so immediately
the owner put in a brand new
transmission with some labor and so that
brings the car up to about nine thousand
dollars when this car was brand new it
was forty five thousand dollars it goes
without saying that these are very
different cars mazda has always stuck
with a really simple formula which is a
lightweight car good handling and
front-engine rear-drive very affordable
but what makes it similar to the Porsche
this is the car that saved Porsche early
in the 90s around 1993 Porsche was only
selling 14,000 cars globally they were
selling 3,000 in the US Porsche actually
looked to me oughtta they look to mazda
for inspiration on a low priced car that
was affordable and of course this is not
the first but really the most successful
mass-produced mid-engine car let's check
out the motor in this parsha enough talk
let's go for a drive I mean the 2005
porsche boxster one of my overall
impressive
it feels very very planted
the brakes are really really good pretty
typical portion of breaks the
predominant character of this car is
it's just planted when it's on roads
like this so to sum it up this is a
great bargain sports car for under ten
thousand dollars this is phenomenal now
we're in the miata first impression no
power at all no power at all you really
gotta have your foot kinda thing this
card is a little bit more nervous in the
Porsche the steering is good the gearbox
is really good in this car really does
have a lot of grip because it's so light
but you've got to be more on top of this
card overall for under ten thousand
dollars this is a great car but it's not
the bargain that the Porsche is I've
given both cars and the owners have
driven to each other's cars too so let's
talk to them and get their thoughts so
you've just driven the miata in a really
windy section and what are your overall
impressions with the car the handling is
great the gearbox is fantastic little
down on power there's tons of grip it's
a very lightweight very balanced you
chuck it in a little too hard it's going
to get loose if you hit a bump mid
corner it's gonna throw you out any
negative the engine I like the brakes in
the Boxster better they'll stop you a
little faster than these will overall
compared to your car which is a Boxster
on a tight winding section like this
what's your overall impression it's
still fun I still prefer the box there i
mean it's got more power it's definitely
a more solid car you can feel the weight
difference is just more weight in the
steering there's more feels more serious
this you can really get it to rotate
quickly if you you know if you chuck it
and lift it'll really kind of start to
rotate really quickly overall compared
to the miata on a road like this what do
you prefer I don't know that I prefer
one over the other I know that when I
got in the Boxster I can felt more
relaxed I felt more like I'm in a car
driving along whereas I know and me out
on roads like this I'm always on edge
like a little more clenched to
everywhere I'd go driving miata so it's
you know it's a different experience and
this definitely is
faster not saying otherwise unsecured
tires and it's got a lot more engine I
don't want to look short I'm going to
stand in the dish let's talk about
operating costs obviously this is the
big white elephant in the room obviously
the Porsche is a much more expensive car
to begin with let's talk about operating
costs day to day what are you getting at
terms of gas mileage 28 to that day
usually 30 but I do a lot of freeway
driving so well I do more mix driving I
do a lot of canyons in the car I average
about 23 now let's talk about
maintenance so does the regular
maintenance what do you spend on an oil
change is about a hundred bucks if I do
it myself it's not too bad 26 26 my last
set of tires was about 8 90 I think so
it set for the miata I'm like looking
right now is about 300 what about
unexpected stuff you had any of that yet
yes this is a one hundred dollar piece
of string that Porsche sells it keeps
tension on your soft top that's really
nice piece of string I got to admit what
are some of the things that you don't
like about your own cars I don't like
how difficult it is to work on my car I
have no access to my own motor oh I hate
the seats god I hate to see any oh
that's not good they're awful driving
each other's cars for under 10,000 bucks
on a road like this what do you guys
think so this is the big under 10,000
things that I'm going to bring up here
that Porsche is definitely not a
ten-thousand-dollar car it was extremely
well purchased with a broken
transmission realistically to get that
car it's going to be 12 to 15 depending
on condition so which car is the winner
for me it's got to be the Porsche the
Miata is a really nice car but it just
doesn't have the power yeah it's light
and handles really well but it's kind of
nervous and skitterish on the bumps on
these tight bends here the Porsche just
feels planted is still solid it's got a
fantastic sounding motor yes the shifter
isn't as good but overall it's just a
more enjoyable car to drive it's a
little bit more relaxed it's really
really designed for roads like this so
for this particular review I'm giving
the Porsche thumbs up if you want to
down there else down there or you can
stand there and I'm going to stand up
here seeing 13 take better

Exploradores Lunares - Sunvation (Moonbots: A Google Lunar XPRIZE Challenge) - Duration: 1:23.
The Earth could die.
The sun could die.
To help us out?
We want to send bacteria to the moon.
Bioluminescent, anaerobic and moon-modified bacteria.
This small amount of bacteria will reproduce itself feeding from moon material,
generating bioluminescent light and oxygen (that will be converted to water)
and by doing this, it will generate enough heat, light and resources to maintain itself there.
Why?
(Maniacal Laugh)
Because one day we could need a pseudo-sun, be it from ours dying or because we'll need
to leave our planet, and our project would be a "test-drive" of creating our own "sun"
in case we only find another suitable home on a planet outside the habitable zone
of a star or on a rogue planet.

We like Business - Just like you do. Get to know our School of Business, Economics and Law - Duration: 3:13.
I come from India.
During my bachelor thesis in India
I worked with a lot of swedes
which impressed me about their culture
and about how they are.
That was one of the reasons why I chose to
look into Sweden as an option
for my masterstudies
and Handelshögskolan being one of
the top schools in Sweden
and something that fit my requirements
I chose Handelshögskolan as
my first priority.
I am a really open-minded
and social character.
I was here two years aga on Erasmus
and I had a really good time,
made a lot of friends,
hade a great experience at the university
so I decided to take my master
at Handelshögskolan.
I think the library is a great place
to study.
It has a certain atmosphere to it
that you really feel that you can be
productive there.
But there are so many different spots
where you can have productive discussions
or you can sit in the cafeteria
and study there.
So there are a lot of different places
to study.
I am a teacher
and I like to incorporate
the fun factor in my education
the relationship with the students
is crucial to our teaching
it is my believe that education is not a
one way process.
It is not about me
talking to the students,
telling them about the theories
and the models
but it is also about them
interactng in the classroom
and having discussions.
I think that is what education
is really about.
Handelshögskolan has a huge diversity
of students from all parts of the world.
You do different project works together
and you get to know the way
they work and the way you work
and how different it is.
So you learn a lot basically
and experience different nationalities
and cultures together.
Bringing research in education I think is
of utmost importance.
The latest theories, models and articles
but at the same time give them real examples, real cases
from different companies, here in the Gothenburg-area,
there they can actually try and test
the theories directly on the companies
and work with companies specifically on a project.
In my opinion the placement of the school is perfect.
You have Haga right next to Handelshögskolan,
where you can go for a nice afternoon "fika",
if you need a study brake.
You have Järntorget right around the corner

TIME || समय - Duration: 4:16.
What is time?
"time" this topic have been disturbing
our minds since thousands of years.
understanding time or make someone
understand it is not easy.
you see time is not a thing
In this Universe events occur one after another
and time is the interval between those events.
All events happen in forward direction
It means that we cannot change
events that has already happened.
We can divide all events in 3 stages
1. Past - Event has already happened.
2. present- event is currently taking place
3. future - Event will take place
events happen in succession from the
past through the present to the future
we can also imagine time as a straight line
where the center denotes the present
and the left to it is the past and in its right Future
we can also understand from hourglass that
the sand that has fallen is the past
when it was falling it was present
and the sand that has yet to fall is the future
different different people Philosophers,
Scientists, Theorists have given
different definitions of time.
But since Time is neither thing nor
any event therefore it is not possible to touch or see Time.
Passing of events only is Time
along with the three spatial dimensions
we consider time as the 4th dimension,
meaning
imagine if we have to give location
of any object in this 3 d world then by
telling its 3 coordinate i.e Z.. Y.. Z..
we can tell where is the existence of that object
But
one more thing that tells about
the existence of that object is time
Means that object
In X Y Z at this coordinate
at what time was it available
This is why
We take time as 4th Dimension
According to Stephan Hawking
Time didn't existed always
Time was born with the explosion of big bang
Since before big bang the universe was not yet crreated
hence it was impossible for time to exist at that point
even if there exist time before big bang
then that time must be a totally different
that would not have affected the events after the big bang
we humans measure time in
seconds Minutes and hours
where each minute is divided into 60 equal parts
and each part is equivalent to 1 second
and 60 such minutes form one hour and 24 such hour makes a day
So in this video this is pretty much it

Why do we love and hate public transport in Istanbul? - Duration: 2:48.
Public transportation in Istanbul has been improving for the better for the last decades.
Do you still think to get a taxi to get from your airport to the city center? No way!
Public transport in Istanbul comprises a bus network, various rail systems, funiculars,
and maritime services to serve the more than 13 million inhabitants of the city spread
over an area of almost 6000 km².
The first line of Istanbul metro (M1) began service on 1989 between Aksaray and Kartaltepe.
The line was further developed step-by-step and reached Atatürk Airport on 2002. The
construction of the underground railway in Istanbul began in 1992. The first line (M2)
between Taksim and 4th Levent went into service on 2000. Now it includes 73 stations in service,
with 71 more under construction.
Istanbul inaugurated horse trams in 1872 and these served the people of Istanbul until
1912. Following this date, electric trams were put in place and they were the main means
for urban public transport until 1966. Many routes were built step by step, and it reached
their most widespread network in 1950s. The modern tramline, T1, now runs from Kabataş
to Bağcılar. Modern tramline, T4, runs from Topkapı to Mescid-i Selam. The tram routes
mostly run on reserved tracks. Part of the network is elevated, and small parts of the
tramway involve street running on unreserved tracks. The system serves mostly the old parts
of the city.
Istanbul has an excellent transportation system utilizing almost all the known forms of public
transit. Within the city limits one can ride on buses, metrobuses, subway trains, suburban
trains, trams, funiculars, cablecars, ferries, fast ferries, seabuses and seataxis. So there
are numerous modes of public transit in the city. Good thing is that most of them are
linked to one another. And another good thing is that you can pay and use almost all of
them by one single payment system called ISTANBULKART.
A lot of people still consider taking taxis to commute between the various points of interest
in Istanbul, but it's often not the best choice.

my advice for a young woman just graduating from college never stop
learning
just because school is over does not mean it's the end of your education read
every chance you get asked questions all the time
find other folks who know more than you do and basically take class from them
schools not over

RANDY PICKS A BIAS | Guest Reactions: Evolution of BTS - We Are Bulletproof P2/War of Hormone (Pt 1) - Duration: 12:39.
Welcome back to AriKuda, I'm Erika.
And I'm Des!
And today we are doing a guest reaction with our friend Randy.
And we will be reacting to The evolution of BTS starting out with their second ever video
Bulletproof pt 2.
Yea
Alright, let's get this started
Infires, man.
Right?
What,
The first few seconds of the song, it....it summarized how I felt.
What?
What -
I was gonna say, I wanna see that Jacket guy again
How much does he know about American Basketball?
Uhm...
Does he know - does he know that thats not exactly a team to be proud of?
A lot of Idols actually like the Chicago Bulls
Get out, really?
Do they even know that they suck now?
Probably not
Don't - don't tell them
This is a secret
I like his annunciation
Like, usually when you have Asian people, say, like
He was the one who speaks
He's the fluent one
Oh he's the fluent dude?
He wasn't fluent at this point
Oh okay.
Kinda
Kind of, not
Well I was gonna say, his diction is amazing
I keep trying to think of something to say about the guy with the
The um, side shave with the patterns
The fade?
Yea the fade
I keep trying to think of stuff to say but I cant it's like
I guess like, he's not just bullet proof but he's also immune to criticism
That's fair
It's hard to say
I'm like, I don't know what to think
I wanna comment on it
But I can't!
That's fair
I'm so sorry you like that team, dude
They have not seen a championship in YEARS
Here he goes!
I dunno I mean like, I can't
Same with the guy with the bad ass blingin' jacket
I wasn't expecting kung fu
This is amazing
I thought you were showing me KPop videos
This is clearly a ninja
And robots
Well last time I heard the oblideration of that word it was a Japanese band
Maximum the Hormone
Look at them
I'm liking this dapper guy in the middle
Oh my God, Suspenders!!!
He's my favorite!
Red pants, suspenders
He's got my attention
His name is Jimin
Jimin?
Jimin be stylin'
You know, and dapper guy?
Yea, dapper guy
He was the last guy in the video with the fade
GET OUT
No way
He has a versatile style I can not compete with that
This is..
Let's see what suspenders' got man c'mon
We'll get there
He's vocal line and dance line, you're gonna see Suspenders
I also love his Freddy Kruger sweater
He's the one who had the hats in the last video
I'm likin' what I see of pinstripes back here
Pinstripes?
The pinstripes, on his pants and that suit
I thought those died in the forties
But then they found them and brought them here
Oh, he's got - he's got patches on the back of his jacket
See, he's not a poser now
He's not
I'm worried that he's going to smack himself in the face with the chain
It's just so long it's gonna touch his belly button
Is that a beret? That is a beret!
Is that - that's money taped to it
Oh no that's not okay
He was the one with the skateboard in the last video
Is he the bad boy?
Kinda, kind of
well he has a gun...
Is he an intermediate boy?
Well, he's pretty hard core
We'll show you You'll see
I mean I dunno if I see somebody else decapitate someone...
This might be the best thing
GET OUT
NO
I don't even know what's going on in this drama but this is amazing
Would you reject him?
NO.
Especially if he was barking in my face like that!
I just not noticed that that is a plaid shirt
Where - when did they get bikes?
Did I miss that part?
Another side note, I like that there's a classic car in the background
It's like, you got me at suspenders, pinstripes and classic cars
They - they might have It
I dunno what 'it' is
They got it, though!
Are we gonna fight in the club?
No, it's Homecoming, right on!
No, its a bar...
I dunno I thought Homecoming happened in a bar
No, that is a basketball court! That's not a bar! Alright!!
Well, to be fair, one of them's like... Younger than 17 in this video
During this video
Yea, during this video not now
This is old
Oh, okay
Well, it is an older video it's got classic cars and pinstripes
I'm just - I'm just kidding..
This came out in 2014
This is like, their fourth video?
Suspenders, you better take that camera man
You got this
I'm gonna be disappointed
I'm just waiting for him to come to the front and be like 'look at these sweet dance moves I got!"
That sounds like the end of the song!
