Install Eclipse (C/C++) and Java (JRE) for FRC (Windows 64 bit) - Duration: 5:09.

Go to bit.ly/EclipseNeon

Download Eclipse for Windows 64-bit

When you download, make sure you know where your downloads folder is.

After the download finishes, go to your Downloads folder.

Right-click on the zip file and extract all.

Uncheck the box and click Extract. Pay attention to the destination. It should be the same folder you're in.

When the extraction finishes, open the new folder.

Right-click on the eclipse folder and copy it.

Go to the C: drive.

Open the Program Files folder, NOT the x86 Program Files.

Paste the copied eclipse folder into the Program Files folder.

Open the eclipse folder and find the eclipse application. Double-click to attempt to launch it.

You may get an error about Java. Continue watching the video, if so. If not, skip to the last segment about the Workspace.

Go to the Java link in the description to install the Java Run-time Environment.

Click the Accept button, then find the option for Windows x64 offline. It will end with .exe.

Pay attention to where the file downloads (it should be your Downloads folder like before).

In the Downloads folder, go ahead and delete the two Eclipse items.

Run the Java installer.

Set the change destination folder option. You probably won't have to change it, but it's a good check.

Make sure the Java folder will be inside the Program Files path, not the x86 Program Files.

After Java installs, you can delete the installer.

Return to the Program Files folder in the C drive.

Return to the eclipse folder and try to launch Eclipse. You should be successful this time.

FINAL STEP

Set the workspace as default and click ok.

Now enter the PIN to deactivate the alarm

PIN is correct :)

Now reset the PIN to 1234

Confirm the new PIN

Try to open the front door

Alarm will sound if you haven't entered the correct PIN

Now enter the PIN again to deactivate

Try to open the door now, it will not sound because the alarm has been deactivated

Activate the alarm

Now try to enter the incorrect PIN

PIN is incorrect!

I wanted to demo how micro:bit can still remember the PIN even if the power is being removed :)
