10,000 Subscribers + Channel Update + YouTube Visit! 👍 - Duration: 4:26.

What's going on guys it's Pete here from the Gaming Careers YouTube channel and I wanted

to do a video giving you a bit of an update as to why there haven't been so many

videos uploaded recently, why have I been so busy and also I wanted to celebrate

the subscriber goal that we hit a few weeks back, but I'm just going to start

straight away with just an apology. Sorry guys that I haven't had the time to upload as

many videos as I'd like to. I've been super busy, I'm going to go into a bit of

detail about what I've been doing the last few months so hopefully you guys

can understand and I'll just give a bit of a channel update in the meantime.

So the reason that there haven't been as many videos uploaded in the last few

months as I'd like to have uploaded, is because I've been attending a coding

bootcamp here in London which is essentially like a twelve to sixteen

week intensive course where they teach you how to code in a few different

languages so you can start building web applications and it's super intensive.

Like I've had not a single evening or weekend to be able to film and upload

videos for the YouTube channel so I've really struggled to be able to release

content. You probably notice that right, over the last few months I've only

uploaded two or three videos which has really pained me but I haven't been able

to take any time away from this course because it's so intensive and the whole

point of it is that they try and get you up to speed in software development in

such a short amount of time. So that's what I've been doing, I've now finished

that that's the good news so I'm going to be able to come back to a more

regular schedule of uploading tutorials for you guys. I've got so many videos

planned and I really want to get going on them but this course has literally

eaten me up, every single free hour that I've had I've had to be spending coding and

learning and finishing products and things like that so I'm done now that's

the good news but I wanted to give you guys a bit of a backstory as to why

there hasn't been many videos uploaded in the last couple of months.

Right, with that out the way we have missed a subscriber milestone,

the big 10000, the

five digits. We hit it I think about a month ago maybe a little over a month

ago and I wanted to do a video thanking you all for subscribing and all that

kind of stuff but as I said just been so busy so I'm going to include that

into this video here I was actually watching the live counter

as it crossed from 9999 to 10,000 so it was an exciting time I was actually able

to be in front of my computer as a subscriber goal hit but once again I've

said it in a few videos in the past but thank you guys so much for subscribing

it really does mean a lot it's amazing to see so many people that want to

create this profession out of the gaming passion and all joining into this

community to help each other out there's been loads of suggestions in the

comments and I really do appreciate every single one of you so thank you.

The other news that's happened in the past couple of months is that YouTube have

invited me down to their space in London so I got to meet a few of the YouTube

people and see the studios that I can now use I can basically book out these

studios use some really professional camera and lighting and sound equipment

because I've crossed that 10,000 subscriber threshold so it was great to

meet some of the people down there at YouTube it's super close by to where I'm

living now so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be shooting quite a few videos around

there and it's always good to be able to meet other YouTubers in London as well so

it's a really great opportunity so I want to say thank you very much to YouTube space

London for having me down they're super accommodating and it's a really nice

space, so if you ever get the chance when you're in London it's worth coming have a look around.

So what's coming up for the Gaming

Careers YouTube channel? Well plenty more tutorials we're going to be

covering more OBS things that we can do within OBS studio, we're going to be doing

more video editing things specifically to do with YouTube, live streaming, Twitch

growing your channels all these kind of things I've got such a massive list of

video ideas that I'm just waiting to get started on and now that I've finally

finished I can start pumping those out. So thank you for being so patient, new

video coming out really really soon I've just filmed it so check that out when it

comes into your subscription box. I'll see you guys later, please!

NEW CONTENT ON THE CHANNEL - Duration: 1:52.

Hey!

You may have noticed that I deleted all my videos, and it's normal, because I'm going to transform my channel

At first, this channel was about gaming videos, but in the end, there were only bad challenges...

There were not many gaming videos, because of my shitty computer, and anyway, my gameplays were shitty

I didn't wanna leave YouTube, so I decided to rename this channel "Sandra" Because it's my name

The turning of the channel will have nothing to do with gaming, I mean.. a little bit, but it's complicated

In fact, this channel will regroup everything

Movies, video games, music, literature, history, paint, I'll talk about everything

At first, I wanted to rename the channel "Inform-me" to be in link with the "shows" and mentioned topics

But if I ever change my content, it wouldn't be right

So I prefer called the channel by my name, because everything is related by me

You have to know, that format is really long to produce, editing, searches, etc.

So, I'll try to have a regular rhythm, like, a video every two weeks

But, videos would be recorded a long time before I published it, so it could take months before the project really begins

I don't know if you understand

Videos won't be facing camera, so it'll be the last time you'll see my face on YouTube

I won't monetize videos, because ads are annoying

But i'm opening a Tipeee, so if you want to, and if you have funds, you can support me The link is in description

About my live streams, I'll be on live when I can, but my computer is still crap, and my connexion is too, so it'll be rare

A video will be out soon to explain the concept of the channel and it's shows

I'm talking very naturally, do you like it or nah?

I can understand that the most of you subscribed to see gaming videos, so if you're leaving, good bye !

And for those who stays, see you soon !

Guildbrook Farm Channel UPDATE! - Duration: 4:21.

Hey it's Jaime at Guildbrook Farm with a quick channel update. So a lot of you

guys have been leaving comments and emailing us asking us for more videos! Up

to this point we've been doing two to three videos a week at 20 to 30 minutes

each. Pretty time consuming videos and we try to go really in depth with some of

the information that we're giving. These videos are taking anywhere between three

or four hours to shoot and eight to ten hours to edit, and then upload time.

Pretty full-time job we have going on here making these videos, but we want to

help you guys. We want to help you guys transition to more of a self sustainable

lifestyle. We want to show you guys what we have going on here more on a daily

basis so what we think we can do is a compromise. So rather than doing 20 or 30

minute videos two or three times a week, we can think we can get it down to about

10 minute videos 6 days a week and we think that might work with having the

same quality of content, just a little more condensed, covering a variety of

topics. Because we have a lot of you guys that are like "hey when are you gonna

get back to the canning videos?" or "when are you going to cover more prepping videos?" or

"why don't you show us more what's going with Ed? Is he growing?" So we're going

to try and cover all those over the span of a week. So what we have in

mind is different themes for different days of the week. So Monday we're

probably going to cover some gardening things. Tuesday will cover some canning

or some recipes. Wednesday we'll do workshop Wednesday, anything Jeremy has

going on or anything he's creating around here. Thursday we'll try and cover

some prepper things. Friday? Frugal Friday. Any kind of our saving

money tips, or anything along that line. Saturday we'll probably take the day off,

and then on Sunday we'll post a video that's part of our Dirt series. For those

of you guys that are new to our channel, The Dirt is where we cover a specific

topic, we just kind of tell you our thoughts, our beliefs, or why we did

something, or why we think a certain way. So we'd love to know what you guys think.

Do you guys like the idea of moving from longer videos to shorter videos, from two

or three times a week to six days a week? We're going to try it for a month and just

see how it goes. Obviously we're not going to be able

to appeal to everybody but we're going to try and appeal to most of you guys and

hopefully make most of you guys happy. On that note, we had a lot of people

emailing and asking if we are going to go on Patreon or if they can support us

through Patreon. At this particular time we have no intention of moving over to

Patreon. I just really don't like the whole subscription model, really don't

like having to feel obligated to post content on a separate channel and

keeping that content from other people. We want to try and make everything

available and accessible to everybody from all walks of life. We just think

that's really important. Maybe at some point in the future we might have a

really detailed video that we put over there, but honestly at this point we're

not planning on doing that. But if you guys are insistent and want to help

support our channel, we did set up a PayPal donation link. You can make a

contribution if you like through there. We also have an Amazon link that we keep

in the description down below. If you currently shop through Amazon and you

shop through this link, we get a small commission every time you make a

purchase at no cost to you. It helps to support our channel, our equipment,

our farm and our software that we use, so if you guys

want to do that, that's two ways that you can help support us if you're interested.

And if not, we just appreciate you guys hanging out with us and leaving comments.

So let us know what you think. We have a lot of cool things coming out. We already

have the next week kind of planned out as to what we're going to do. We're really

excited about this change. We hope it works and we hope that it's something

that's sustainable for us, that we can continue to do this. If you guys have any

comments or suggestions on videos, go ahead and leave those below. We actually

read everything that you guys write. We try to respond to everything in the

comment section, but some of these questions you guys ask might be a

whole video in itself. So feel free to leave those down below and we'll see if

we can address it in some future video. We want to try and help you guys in

particular who are trying to transition to this lifestyle, get your feet in and

get your feet wet and just show you how we're doing it. It's just one particular

way of doing something, but we're trying to get you started in showing you that

way. So all this stuff is going to launch this week. We're going to see you in

tomorrow's video. Hope you like it.

My favorite BRAZILIAN CHANNELS on YouTube 🇧🇷 - Duration: 4:02.

I asked you on Facebook which video you'd like to see on this

channel this week and the majority chose this topic, so today I'm going to talk a

little bit about some of the Brazilian channels that I love here on YouTube.

The first channel on this list is Lully de Verdade. I believe this was one of the

first Brazilian channels that I really liked.

Lully graduated in Cinema and besides the videos with movie reviews, she also makes

videos about the more technical part of movies,

she also makes thought-provoking videos, travel videos, and the famous

#5Filmes tag, interviewing other youtubers and personalities about

their favorite movies and she even interviewed Tom Hanks.

Lully's channel is full of culture, so it's really worth watching if you don't

know it yet.

[Lully de Verdade Channel]

The second channel--that if you're Brazilian,

you know it for sure--is Jout Jout's channel. I see her as a

kind of a pop philosopher of YouTube because she always foments relevant and

very interesting discussions, but always in a casual and

fun way. What makes Jout Jout's channel stand out is

her personality.

[JoutJout Prazer Channel]

The third channel is

Afros e Afins by Nátaly Neri. In fact, I discovered Nátaly's channel

through Jout Jout's channel and I loved it immediately.

Nátaly talks about very difficult

subjects, especially on YouTube, such as

feminism and racism, but very intelligently. The way she speaks

is amazing, so she's a virtual activist who's a pleasure to watch.

[Afros e Afins by Nátaly Neri Channel]

The last channel that I'd like to

recommend to you today--and it's the channel I'm most addicted to at this moment--is the channel

Viviuvi. I discovered Vivi's channel a little over a month ago, more or less,

when I was in Brazil and I was searching for info on Marina

Abramovic. Because I'm in the United States, YouTube usually

recommends American channels to me, but because I

was in Brazil, I stumbled upon Vivi's channel and it was a great find.

Vivi devotes her entire channel to art, so if you're an art lover, you'll

love it. She talks about art movements, recommends exhibitions,

books, movies, she also visits exhibitions

around the world and foments really interesting discussions, such as "what's art?"

So, it's really, really cool.

[Vivieuvi Channel]

Well, guys, those were my suggestions

of Brazilian channels that I love at this moment and now it's your turn.

Which Brazilian channels do you love and that you recommend to me? Leave a comment

below so that I can check them out.

If you liked this video, leave a thumbs-up, subscribe to this channel if you haven't done so yet and I'll see you next time.

Kisses! :)

1-Year Channel Celebration Cosplay Contest - WIN 500g / T-shirts / Notebook / 1080p 50fps - Duration: 2:52.

Welcome everyone to my 1-year channel celebration contest.

Well, it's few days past full year but still, we can have nice things right?

This time you will compete not only for 500g price pool but also for t-shirts and paper

notebook with Guild Wars 2 motive donated by ArenaNet.

Unfortunately sending packages to another side of the world is too expensive for me,

so the contest will be limited only for EU.

If you are not from Europe you can still participate and win at least that gold.

So let's take a closer look at how this contest works.

It's a simple one really, all I want from you is some in-game cosplay.

Just take your character and make him look like your favorite movie actor, celebrity

or even characters from other games.

Once you have it, make at least 3 screenshots from different angles.

Don't forget to do it in some really cool place since it will also matter.

Then send them to email tekkitsworkshop@gmail.com with few extra pieces of information what

you can find down below.

It's also quite simple.

Your in-game tag what you can see for example when you open LFG window in format name.number.

Nickname what will be announced if you win.

You can leave this blank.

In that case, I will announce you with tag instead

and also who are you cosplaying.

You can send your screenshots for 3 weeks after the release date of this video.

Once it's done I will gather few female friends with decent fashion taste and we will make

some top5 or maybe even top10 list.

In next video, I will show all final contestants and you will vote for 1 winner.

He or She will receive 2 t-shirts and paper notebook with Guild Wars 2 motive and also

250 gold.

But that's not all.

Since I have also a great taste for fashion myself, there will be a 2nd winner picked

entirely be me.

It can be a person from the top list or someone who didn't get there at all so don't lose

hope.

He or She will also receive 2 t-shirts with Guild Wars 2 motive and 250 gold.

So good luck to everyone and I enjoy the contest.

Welcome to my channel! - Duration: 6:49.

I probably need to lift up the camera a bit more

yes, I'm so professional...

no tripod! Oh hey you can see the top of my head now

But you can also see how much mess there is

like my couch

So I have to figure out what I'm talking about..

within 29 minutes

*beep*

I'm also gonna scoot a little closer..also I'm sitting in front of (and I'm sorry if I'm talking fast)

I'm sitting directly in front of a giant window

so...you can kind of see a road right there

oh, see, there goes a car

yeah so people walk by on the street a lot right here and so they'll see me

talking to a camera in front of the window! So that's exciting (ahem).

Obviously I'm not gonna care...it's fine, who cares?

I remember I vlogged some when I was in Japan a couple years back and my mom...

would tell me that I touched my hair too much, so, I'm going to try my best to make it look how I want it to look

which is..always..flat..which is fine

that's okay, whatever, it's fine

and then just leave it. I'll try my best not to touch it, okay?

we'll see how that goes. No promises.

So, just to get started, there are so many people on youtube that I really respect as content creators

and I kinda don't want to put myself [on their level] and pretend that I'm on the same level as them because I'm

very much not. But, I would some day like to be a part of this community so,

I've been here for a very long time, just creeping on lots of people's videos and wishing that I could, you know,

create content that I think is worthy of standing on this platform that the Internet has given so many people around the world

and youtube has been a place where I've been able to explore myself...

in a non-creepy way [sigh]

and I've been able to find friends - not necessarily friends in the conventional sense, but friends in the sense of people who

love the same things and find value in the same things and I really appreciate that.

And the sense of humor of the Internet/youtube in general is, by far, my favorite thing in the world!

I love the sarcastic, kind of dry, humor that a lot of the Internet holds.

so, yeah, I've wanted to kind of become a part of this community rather than just kind of sitting in the background

I feel like my channel is just going to be a lot of stuff like this, where I'm just sitting in front of the camera and talking

and probably looking up at the damn screen like I keep doing, I'm sorry.

But yeah, it's probably just going to be a lot of sitting in front of the camera and sharing my thoughts

on the world, and on what I think about people, and what I think about school,

experiences that I go through or experiences that other people I know go through - I'll probably talk about stories with that.

I also have 3 amazing roommates - one of them actually just moved out and we're getting a new one so

I have TWO amazing roommates, and we think we're hilarious.

I don't know if we're actually hilarious.. so expect some of them to show up once in a while here

My brother actually apparently is just starting a youtube channel. I think he does music on it?

I should probably check that out..I'm a terrible sister

But he expressed an interest in wanting to make videos together as well, so that would be fun.

This video currently is obviously nothing special - it's just me saying hello

If you happened to scroll past - hi, hello, thank you for...looking at my face [wtf abigail]

and I hope you decide to stick around. There's a few of us here already and I'm starting to come up with ideas

of how I can kind of shift my channel to make it look like how I want it, to reflect me

I want it to have some personality. Right now it's kind of just a blank canvas and it doesn't really have

a whole lot of me incorporated into it. It's just like...[what is that face idk]

a really cringe profile picture of one of my fandoms that I'm a part of

which I'll probably talk about at some point anyway.

But yeah. Just wanted to say hello to everyone.

And a lot of this is really just for me, because I'm someone who really needs to talk things out, out loud

I have a very loud mind, and I'm sure a lot of you can relate to that and a lot of the time,

the only way I'm able to get out my thoughts is in writing or talking to a camera.

So, being able to have this website where I can, you know, be creative and come up with, I don't know

things I want to talk about that have been brewing inside of my head

like a...

coffee..? [sigh again]

I don't know what that metaphor was [it was a simile but ok]

have been, you know, sitting inside my head for a long time, and being able to edit them together

and then uploading them here as a video blog. I really enjoy that idea because videos are something that are...

I don't know...there's something different about them compared to writing because writing,

yes, you're writing out your thoughts but there's only so much that you can put into words.

With a camera, you're still putting things into words, but you also have your facial expression,

you have what your appearance looks like at the time

you have the environment around you

you have your tone of voice.

It's very important for communicating exactly how I feel

so..

aww there's a cute little pill-bug on the ground out there.

So yeah. I think it's going to be really cool and I don't really expect anything besides myself just enjoying the process

of creating here on youtube, and if all else fails, I'm just another weirdo making videos

and sticking them on the Internet at the same time as I watch and admire the other people that are here already

so, thanks again for checking out this video, and I hope you stick around for more

and if you don't, that's fine - there's a lot of other really cool people here so,

I will do my best to become more natural on camera. I do talk to myself on camera a lot, but I never actually upload it so

I don't really think of it as talking to people - it's, rather, talking to myself...

Yeah, that's about all I really have for you today so

Thanks again, and I will talk to you later!

Byeeee [attacks the camera]

I don't know what that was I'm sorry

Having a YouTube Channel in a Different Language - Duration: 7:31.

so hi and welcome back again today we are going to talk about YouTube and what

it means to have an english-speaking YouTube channel I for example I am NOT a

native English speaker I speak English Hungarian and German

so I can switch between

all the three languages I speak but I chose English for my channel language

and here is why the first good reason why to start your channel in English

even if you're not a native speaker there are 7.5 billion with the B people

on planet Earth today and the estimated reach for english-speaking people

worldwide it's something between 500 million and 1 billion so just imagine

how many people you could reach potentially worldwide if you decide to

put up your YouTube channel in English there are also down times if you choose

the language that it isn't your native language at the beginning it's pretty

scary to talk into a camera on the language it isn't your own and in the

beginning it can be intimidating and frightening and especially if you're a

vlogger and you're outside talking to a camera with a non-native language is

really a big step especially if you're new to the whole camera vlogging thing

you will also have a lot of grammar failures in your language while you're

interacting with other English speaking people over the Internet

but that's totally ok you're not a native speaker just don't overthink it

just do it and I promise you if you keep on talking English like I did in the

beginning your English will improve that is

nothing that comes overnight and it takes practice while you're interacting

with other english-speaking people over the internet it will help your language

skill I know it can be discouraging at the beginning but it's worth it and it

will help you in the long run also you shouldn't hear a lack of English skills

as a downside you can't speak another language that other people can't so use

that this is your superpower I mean if you're able to speak at least two languages

you don't have to be on native speaker level to put out content in that

language speaking another language will help you to make your content accessible

to people that normally wouldn't watch your content because they don't

understand what you're saying so you can use those things in captions and in

translations so make use of what you have don't focus on what you don't have

always focus on what you have and make the best out of it and the rest comes

over time if you don't believe me check out the highest ranking youtubers right

now PewDiePie on the first place has 35 million subscribers it's your native

English speaker no he isn't but over time he got way better because he got

more practice and he used that language so keep on producing content and you

will get more comfortable with your non-native language so what can help you

to improve your English skills for starters you can watch English TV shows

you can watch movies in their original language and with Hollywood being the

biggest supplier in movies and TV shows you have a lot of stuff to choose from

so choose wisely another thing you could do is reading personally I'm not into

reading but if you like reading buy some English books and even if it's hard in

the beginning just sit through it and keep on reading it will be easier over

time for me writing also has a big impact on my

language skills you practice a lot of your vocabulary and you research new

words or sayings this will also help you in your journey to improve your language

skills I think the most valuable advice I can give you is to go out there and

try to engage native english-speaking people and if they're not native

speaking also try it the only thing that can happen is that you both benefit from

it because it is again practice and with everything is YouTube practice makes the

whole thing much easier much faster and will increase the production quality in

the end so how should you use your native language skills you should always

use closed captions YouTube even helps you with when you upload a new video you

can set the spoken language in that video and what happens with this is that

YouTube is starting to analyze spoken language in your video and automatically

creates closed captions for that video but as with every software it's not

perfect and there will be a lot of misunderstood words in it so make sure

that you go into your automatically generated closed captions and start to

correct them after you corrected those closed captions you can use those closed

captions to translate your own video into your native language and that's the

most easy thing you can do because now you're able to download those captions

as file and you have the time slots in there so it's the only thing left you

need to do is to replace the things you said with your native language and there

you have it then you have your first translated subtitles for your content

and that's how easy it is so make sure that you use everything that is at your

disposal to increase the exposure of your content and making use of your

languages one of the easiest things you can do

by increasing the possible audience for your content it will automatically make

it more easier for viewers to reach out to you and find

you on the internet and is prove to you that it is possible to succeed as a

non-native speaking youtuber just check out my channel I started my channel at

the beginning of February 2017 and by today

I reached 99 subscribers and I have an overall watch time of about 30 straight

days so if that isn't success I don't know what it and things we're talking

about YouTube today I got myself some new lights and I changed my background

so please tell me in the comments below what you think about my new setup

whether you like this one better than the other one

comments on improvements are also welcome if you have some so if you'd

like to receive more advice and tips on how to grow your channel and become more

successful on YouTube don't forget to subscribe to my channel so I can supply

you with all I have to give and if you have any questions on how to increase

your language skills hit me up in the comment and also tell me if you find
