What is the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot or Pentecost), and what is its significance? - UNLEARN the lies - Duration: 8:21.

What is the Feast of Weeks (also known as Shavuot or Pentecost), and what is its significance?

It's time to UNLEARN the lies.

UNLEARN

Hey, welcome to UNLEARN.

My name is Lex, and I'd like to invite you to join us each week as we UNLEARN the lies

and dig deeper into the truth of God's Word.

Now, let's get started.

The Feast of Weeks is a spring harvest festival following Passover.

It begins with the the waving of a single sheaf of the FirstFruits on the day after

the Sabbath.

Then seven weeks are counted leading up to the culmination on the 50th day, the day after

the 7th Sabbath.

"You shall count seven weeks for yourself; begin to count the seven weeks from the time

you begin to put the sickle to the grain.

Then you shall keep the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with the tribute of a freewill

offering from your hand, which you shall give as the Lord your God blesses you.

You shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter, your male

servant and your female servant, the Levite who is within your gates, the stranger and

the fatherless and the widow who are among you, at the place where the Lord your God

chooses to make His name abide."

- Deuteronomy 16:9–11

The Feast of weeks marks the conclusion of the Counting of 7 weeks and is known by several

different names in the Bible.

In Hebrew, it's called Shavuot, which means weeks, and refers to the counting of 7 weeks.

In Greek, it's called Pentecost, which means 50, and refers to the 50 days of counting.

It is also called the Festival of Reaping and Day of the First Fruits because it is

a spring harvest festival.

However, calling it FirstFuits seems a bit confusing since the day beginning the count

is also called FirstFruits.

On the first day a single sheaf is waved to begin the grain harvest, and at the end of

7 weeks a celebration takes place with it is the day when the FirstFruits wave offering

is made.

So, why are both the beginning and the end called FirstFruits?

"'And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that

you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed.

Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain

offering to the Lord.

You shall bring from your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah.

They shall be of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven.

They are the firstfruits to the Lord.

And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs of the first year, without blemish, one young

bull, and two rams.

They shall be as a burnt offering to the Lord, with their grain offering and their drink

offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet aroma to the Lord.

Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs of the

first year as a sacrifice of a peace offering The priest shall wave them with the bread

of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs.

They shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.

And you shall proclaim on the same day that it is a holy convocation to you.

You shall do no customary work on it.

It shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations 'When

you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field

when you reap, nor shall you gather any gleaning from your harvest.

You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger: I am the Lord your God.'"

- Leviticus 23:15-22

In ancient times, the grain harvest lasted seven weeks.

It began with the harvesting of barley at Passover and ended with the harvesting of

wheat at Shavuot.

Shavuot was thus the concluding festival of the grain harvest.

This is why it is a tradition to read the Book of Ruth at Pentecost because the story

is tied to the grain harvest.

The Torah states that the sheaf offering is the FirstFruits of the barley harvest, and

is to begin "on the morrow after the Sabbath" and continue to be counted for seven Sabbaths

leading up to "the morrow after the seventh sabbath" when the bread of the FirstFruits

is offered.

It is interesting to note that this bread is to be offered with yeast because this feast

follows the Feast of Unleavened bread in which all yeast was to be removed.

This is significant because we remove the old yeast and then bring in new yeast.

Yeshua explained that leaven represents teaching, and He warned against the leaven of the Pharisees,

which is the doctrines and traditions of men.

So, at Passover, we learn to remove that old leaven, but at Shavuot, we are given new leaven,

new teaching to apply.

What is the new leaven that we are given?

Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai and the

giving of the Holy Spirit in Acts.

On Passover, the people of Israel were freed from bondage, and on Shavuot, they were given

the instruction about how to be the people of God.

We remove the leaven of men at Passover, and we add the leaven of God at Shavuot.

This is why it is so important for us to UNLEARN the lies of men, and learn the truth of God's

Word.

The word "Torah" means teaching and in John 14:26 Yeshua spoke about the coming of

the Holy Spirit and explained that He would teach them and remind them of everything.

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach

you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

- John 14:26

Then we see the fulfillment of this on Pentecost in Acts chapter 2 when the Holy Spirit was

given.

"When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled

the whole house where they were sitting.

Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as

the Spirit gave them utterance."

- Acts 2:1-4

There are some interesting connections between the giving of the Torah and the giving of

the Holy Spirit.

Both events had similar sounds and symbols such as wind, fire, smoke, and voices.

The Hebrew word translated thunder in Exodus 20:18 is "qolot" and means voices or languages.

"Now all the people witnessed the thunderings (voices), the lightning flashes, the sound

of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled

and stood afar off."

- Exodus 20:18

According to Jewish tradition, the Ten Commandments were spoken in all of the languages of the

world in the thunderings so that the whole world might understand it.

"Rabi Yochanan Said: When God's voice came forth at Mt. Sinai, it divided itself

into 70 human languages so that the whole world might understand it.

All at Mt. Sinai, young and old, women, children, and infants according to their ability to

understand."

- Midrash Exodus Rabbah 5:9

Again, this is Jewish tradition, but I find it very interesting because at Pentecost the

Holy Spirit enabled the Disciples to speak in other languages to equip them for the Great

Commission, to take the Gospel to all nations.

At Sinai Yahweh gave the Law written on stone tablets, but at Pentecost, He gave the Law

written on the Hearts of the people through the Holy Spirit.

"But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,

says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts, and I

will be their God, and they shall be My people."

- Jeremiah 31:33

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of

stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep

My judgments and do them."

- Ezekiel 36:26-27

My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will be given to you this Shavuot and that He would

write the Torah on your heart and cause you to walk in all of the commandments.

Why Your Name Is a Mark or Symbol of Slavery? - tech and science - Duration: 3:08.

Why Your Name Is a Mark or Symbol of Slavery

Do you have a name?

You might think that this is a silly question, but have you really thought about what a name

really is?

Having a name can be a wonderful and convenient thing, but if you do not use it wisely, it

can be a curse.

Why is that you may ask?

Because your name can be used to trick you to give up your freedom and natural rights.

It can also be used to enslave your body, mind and soul.

The moment you agree to have a name, you also agree to play the Name Game.

There is a sinister side to the Name Game, so if you are not aware of it by now, you

have already been enslaved by it.

The good news is that when you innerstand how names are used to enslave you, you can

find effective ways to free yourself from the Name Game.

There are many versions of your name.

The two versions that I will talk about are your legal name and your genuine name.

Knowing the difference between these two names is essential for freeing yourself from the

legal system and the Matrix, an artificial reality created for the purpose of controlling

you, allowing the Dark Forces to use you as a battery to power their matrix system.

What Is Your Genuine Name?

Your genuine name is the name given to you by your mother and father.

It exists in the minds of people who are aware of it, especially people who know you.

Your genuine name is a powerful symbol because when spoken out loud, it carries energy and

information that affect you at the deepest level of your being.

This is why your genuine name is so effective for getting your attention.

Because of this, when someone says your name, you often physically or verbally respond to

it.

What Is Your Legal Name?

Your legal name is the name given to you by a thought collective known as the government.

This name is a counterfeit of your genuine name, because it is used by the government

to trick you to do business with its corporations.

In other words, it is a forgery name and therefore when you use it, you unknowingly agree to

support the fraud known as the legal name.

Why the Government Needs You to Have a Legal Name

Your legal name is a very important tool for the government, because it uses your legal

name to attach your identity (set of characteristics) to it, so the agents of the government can

identify you.

This allows the government to do business with you or summon you to appear in front

of its agents.

Without a legal name, the government has no power to do business with you or summon you

to appear in court.

Knowing this fact gives you the potential power to nullify all government contracts,

but to do this you need to give up your legal name.

DON'T BUY GINGER OR GARLIC ANYMORE! THEY ARE INCREDIBLY EASY TO GROW AT HOME! - Duration: 1:52.

OUR WEBSITE : http://justhealthrelated.com/

Garlic and ginger have been used as natural remedies against numerous ailments for a long

time.

They are very powerful and can be easily grown at home instead of being bought in bulk at

the market.

HOW TO GROW YOUR OWN GINGER?

Contrary to what people think, ginger is easy to grow at home.

You only need a small piece of rhizome in order to get a full-grown plant.

Buy ginger root in your local market and plant it.

The plant requires minimal care – all it needs is a moist environment and warm temperature.

After selecting the rhizome, trim it a bit and plant it in soil.

Make sure the pot is bigger as the plant needs space to grow.

The plant needs high-quality soil rich in nutrients and light watering.

Put the pot in a sunny and moist place such as the kitchen.

The plant should be fully grown and ready for harvest in 10-12 months – once you take

it out, save a small piece of rhizome for the next batch.

Keep the harvested ginger in a dry and cool area.

HOW TO GROW YOUR OWN GARLIC?

Besides the lack of rootstock, garlic is pretty easy to grow at home.

Like ginger, it doesn't require much care as well.

Garlic will shoot its own green growths in just a short time – these offshoots are

removed in the market to make the vegetable look fresh.

Before planting the garlic, make sure to choose a larger clove.

Bury it under 3 inches of soil and keep it moist.

However, don't water it often, as it can make the garlic rot.

Garlic is cultivated in October and ready for harvest in the summer when its leaves

turn yellow.

After the harvest, store the vegetable in a dark and cool place in order to prevent

mold.

Garlic stays fresh for 4 months.

Plant both vegetables at home and you will have an endless supply of them.

Camilla Parker-Bowles is not a fan of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge or her family - Duration: 2:39.

Camilla Parker Bowles is not a fan of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge or her family, and she

doesnt hide her disdain for them at all.

In fact, several of our royal sources are saying that amid all the finger pointing happening

after the royal baby girl news leaked, Camillas the one person that has escaped unscathed

which obviously means Camilla Parker Bowles is the prime suspect in Catherine, Duchess

of Cambridges mind as the friend who leaked that The Duchess of Cambridge is

having a baby girl.

Theyre the ones who would have the most to gain by leaking the gender of Catherine,

Duchess of Cambridges baby to the media.

Theyre the ones who are not to be trusted, in the royal familys mind.

So of COURSE everyone would immediately start pointing fingers at them, claiming that they

accepted payouts for the leak or other outlandish accusations.

But right now, nobodys looking at Camilla Parker Bowles.

In fact, who benefits the most out of this leak?

She does.

The Middletons get a bad rep, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge gets into a mess with the media,

and Camilla plots and plans in the corner.

The more she can convince Queen Elizabeth to distrust Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

and her family, the quicker she can convince her to hand over the throne to her and Prince

Charles.

Now, whether Camillas plan actually works or not is up for debate, but right now, nobodys

happy about this leak.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge are understandably furious that their baby

girls privacy has been invaded before shes even been born, but the Queens suspects

are all on Catherine, Duchess of Cambridges side of the equation whether its her friends

or her family.

Plus, if Catherine, Duchess of Cambridges family stays under suspicion, theres no

way theyre getting invited to Sandringham for Christmas so notch that up for another

win on Camillas end.

Learn English - Common Mistakes - Week 32 - 'in Tuesday' or 'on Tuesday'? (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:15.

Hello everybody, and welcome back to 'One

English Mistake in One Minute' where

every week I discuss one common English

mistake made by English language

learners around the world. This is video

number 32.

Admiration and respect to you for

trying to improve your English. You

notice how I twisted those around to get

a little variety in the video? The way

this works is I show you a slide, and on

the slide there are two sentences:

One of those sentences is the correct

way an English speaker would say it, and

the other sentence is the wrong way a

language learner around the world might

say it. You have to decide which is

correct. Look at the sentence, pause

the video if you have to and try to

decide which is correct..then I will

explain it in more detail with the slide

after it.

Okay so if it

went well you can just kind of move on

from this, but if it didn't -- if you got it

wrong or you just guessed right without

knowing why it's right -- then you need to

study it a little bit more. To start

you on that path I've given you three

sentences that you can study from. You

should memorize these sentences, drill

them into your head -- hardwire them into

your brain -- and review them, and then put

into practice through speaking or

writing what you've learned, or both.

English for Russian Speakers 32 - 'best' or 'most good'? (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:14.

Hello there again, and welcome back to

'One English Tip in One Minute for

Russian Speakers' where every week I

talk about, in detail, one common

English mistake made by Russians or

Russian speakers as they learn English.

This is video number 32.

As I'm very fond of saying, good for

you for trying to improve your English. I

completely respect and admire that you

are doing so. In these videos I show

you a slide, and on the slide there are

two sentences: One is the correct way

that I as an English speaker would say

something, the other is the wrong way

that you -- maybe -- as a Russian speaker

might say something. It's a mistake that

a lot of Russian speakers make when they

speak English, let's put it that way.

Your job is to decide which one is

correct. Read the sentences, think

about them, pause the video if you have

to and I will discuss the answer in the

slide that follows this slide.

How did that go?

If you are confident of your correct

answer then you don't need to think

about this very much, I think. But if you

weren't confident -- or if you got the

answer wrong -- then you need to work on it

a little bit. To start you on that

path -- it's a very sort of humble start --

but I've given you three sentences you

can study from. Study the sentences,

memorize them and then put into practice

what you've learned through speaking or

writing or both. Of course afterwards

it's also good to continue studying.

Adho Mukha Svanasana: Heels Up or Down? - Duration: 3:21.

Hi there.

In today's video, I'm going to talk about Adho Mukha Svanasana and I thought I would

discuss the proper placement for the feet and the legs.

Just look at that a little bit.

Okay, so, in Adho Mukha Svanasana, you place your hands and you lift up.

Now very often when people come up immediately they come up like this, where you are more

towards your toes and it's very hard to get the hips both up, and back, when you are on

the front of your toes like this.

So the way that I find most effective here is that once you lift up, you then lift your foot up,

flex your foot, and then come to the back of your toe mounds.

So again, lift your foot up, flex your foot, come to the back of your toe mounds and then

from here, lift the corners of your hips up and press back.

Press back.

You'll notice here that this is not the classical presentation of the pose, my heels are still

lifted and in the beginning, for some time, it can be quite effective to actually work

with the heels lifted.

Now, even though my heels were up, it was as if I was pressing my heels into a little ledge.

If you've looked at the Practice Card, you'll see there's some different presentations of

how to do this pose and one of the presentations involves having the heels up on a block.

So even though in this one, heels are lifted, they are not dull.

So I'm here, I descend into my heels as if there was a little ledge there and then in

opposition to that I lift my thighs, lift my buttock bones up and back.

And then once you've got that and the thighs are pressing back, at that point, you can

work on descending your heels.

But the thing is, if when you descend your heels you do not find a greater stretch, length,

on your side body, then something has gone wrong.

So when you descend your heels, and you just drop them down and there's no lengthening

that happens here and the hips don't stay up, you're not quite doing it right.

It's not giving you that benefit.

So yeah, those are two things to play with there.

First off, heels up but come to the back of your toe mounds and then secondly once you've

got that and worked with that, work on descending your heels.

But, keep the hips lifted.

Hips up, heels down, and find that length through the side trunk.

Play with it.

See how you make out.

Namaste and happy practicing!

English for Portuguese Speakers 32 - 'I am with a hangover' or 'I have a hangover?' (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:16.

Hello again everyone, and welcome back to

'One English Tip in One Minute for

Portuguese speakers,' where each week I

talk about one common English mistake

made by those who speak Portuguese as a

mother tongue, and this is the 32nd

video or video number 32.

Yet again, I admire that you are

working to improve your English, and I

hope you keep it up. And I admire that

you speak more than one language. It's

impressive. The more languages you speak,

the more impressed I am, anyway. In

these videos I show you a slide, and on

the side there are two sentences: One is

the correct way a native English speaker

would say it, the other is the wrong way

that a native Portuguese speaker might

say it, and you have to decide which one

is correct. Please do that now. Read

the sentences, listen to me read the

sentences, pause the video, think about

your answer and I will discuss the

answer in the slide that follows this slide.

Okay so if you got

this wrong - or you took a wild guess and

just happened to get it right -- hopefully

now you understand the reason that you

made the mistake. Hopefully you will

start to study more to get past this

mistake. To start you off on that

process, I've given you three sentences

to study from. Memorize these

sentences in their entirety -- hardwire

them into your brain by reviewing them

over and over again -- and put into

practice what you've learned through

speaking or writing or both...and if you

still don't have it after that, go out

and use the many resources that are out

English Tips for Speakers of Indian Languages 32-'to take an exam' or 'to give an exam'? (subtitled) - Duration: 2:12.

Hi once again all, and welcome to 'One

English Tip in One Minute for Speakers

of Indian Languages' (the many Indian

languages) where each week I talk about,

in detail, one common English mistake

made by people from India, and this is

video number 32.

As I'm very fond of saying, nice

going on working to improve your English.

It's a very smart, cool and practical

thing to do. In these videos I show

you a slide, and on the slide there are

two sentences: One is the correct way

that an English speaker would say it, the

other is the wrong way that many people

from India say it. Your job is to

decide which one is correct. Do that

now. Read the sentences, pause the video

(as you will almost certainly have to),

think about your answer and I will talk

about that answer -- the right answer -- in

the slide that follows this slide.

How did that go? Was it easy,

and you didn't have to think about it

very much...and you are sort of insulted

that I would need to ask you such a

question? If so, then it means you don't

have to study this very much. But if you

got it wrong -- or you happened to guess

right -- it means you do have to start

studying it. To start you off on that

path -- it's a very simple beginning -- but

I've given you some sentences you can

study from. Study the whole sentences,

review them -- really drill them into your

brain -- and put into practice what you've

learned through speaking or writing or

both. Just keep repeating that

process until that mistake is gone, and

you get this totally correct all the

time.

English for Chinese Speakers 32 - Do you have a 'problem' or a 'question'? (with subtitles) - Duration: 2:31.

Hi once again everyone, and welcome back

to 'One English Tip in One Minute for

Speakers of Chinese (and its many

language varieties)'. In these videos I

talk about, in detail, each week one

common English mistake made by Chinese

speakers as they speak English...and this

is video number 32.

Though I say this each week, I really

do mean it. I think it's a smart, cool and

practical thing for you to do to try to

improve your English, especially in

today's world.I admire that you're

doing this. In these videos, I show you a

slide, and on the slide there are two

sentences: One is the correct way that

I as a native English speaker would

say something, the other is the wrong way

that many Chinese speakers say it. You

need to decide which one is correct.

Why don't you do that now. Read the

sentences, listen to me read the

sentences, pause the video, think about

your answer and I will discuss the

answer in the slide that follows this slide.

If you got this wrong - or you took a

wild guess and just happened to get it

right -- you're not alone. It's the same

with many people. What you have to now

do is study to get past this mistake.

It doesn't take that much, actually.

iIt's a very simple beginning, but to

start you off on that process I've given

you three sentences you can study from.

You should study these sentences -- kind of

pay attention to why they're correct -- you

should review them (constantly review

them), get them into your head and put into

practice what you've learned through

speaking or writing or both.
