This video contains tips on how to most successfully complete Vehicle Sourcing missions requiring
a Cargobob helicopter, whether you play alone or with Associates.
The mission will instruct you to steal a Cargobob from either NOOSE HQ, Humane Labs or Zancudo
shitters and then fly to, either, off the coast of Zancudo, Paleto Cove or Davis Quartz,
where there will be a Tug boat floating with 2 barges.
There'll be 3 guards on each barge, armed with assault rifles and gifted with hawk eyes.
It takes one to be in a Cargobob to see where the barges are located.
While the mission provided Cargobob might withstand some more gunfire than Player owned
or randomly spawned one, you'll be wasting ammo and energy on its guards and the mission
will take longer as you'll have to firstly get to the Cargobob, then fly the slow fucker
across the map, in a possible toxic Public Session.
So, my suggestion is to take your own Cargobob and fly straight to the barges.
Once you spot them in distance, you should land on a road that's the nearest to the
barges, so you could order a Buzzard, fly there and clear the barges of the scum, then
fly back to Cargobob and lift the car with the Cargobob in peace.
If you don't own a Buzzard or you suck at flying and shooting in the same time, you
can land Cargobob at a nearby island and snipe guards on the barges, unless the barges are
off the coast of Zancudo, where there is no island to land in the first place.
When clearing the barges, pay attention to where your missiles lock-on, as you don't
want any explosions near the car you're supposed to lift.
That car is on a barge having one more car and some cargo containers next to it, while
the other barge has just one car and some containers and can be rocketed as much as
you please.
While picking up the car, you can call MerryWeather Heli Support to help you with barge men or
NPC helicopters.
Once with the car up in the air, 2 Buzzards flown by retards will spawn behind you (max
4 times), follow you and their passengers will shoot you with assault rifles.
When flying, make sure you're at lower altitude than them and as close to the ground as safe,
so your Cargobob would shield the car you're transporting.
If your Cargobob is damaged badly or if you're bad at flying it or if there are other hostile
players in fighting aircrafts, you should land and drop the vehicle on a highway somewhere
relatively close to the city, so you could use bridges, tunnels and buildings as cover
against threat from above.
When playing with Associates, one should quickly get a Cargobob to spawn barges and fly slowly
to them, while others fly a Buzzard there to clear barges before the Cargobob arrives.
The Buzzard is the best option as it can switch between explosive and non-explosive weapons,
while also having passengers armed with assault rifles.
Hydra and Savage can shoot only explosive weapons and therefore can not safely clear
the scum off the barges without damaging the car you're after.
Valkyrie is maybe better than Buzzard for that task, but it's slower, less maneuverable,
it takes two players to shoot from it and lacks homing missiles.
All it takes is one good pilot in Buzzard to clear the barges and provide protection
against NPC Buzzards.
If there are more Associates, they could fly Hydras and keep other players in the session
at bay.
Finally, if you flew the Cargobob with the car all the way back to your Vehicle Warehouse,
you don't need to drop the car from high above onto the yellow checkpoint or land somewhere
else and then drive into it, you can just hover over the checkpoint and slowly descend
into it – your Mechanic will pick up the car and Cargobob will remain up in the air.
I'm Obelix and that's all for this Vehicle Sourcing episode.
Thanks for watching and see you next week for another one.
