DRUG THE TEENAGE ASH

Uran-9 - New Russian Unmanned Combat Ground Vehicle [Review] - Duration: 3:15.

The vehicle is designed to provide remote reconnaissance and fire support to a variety

of tasks conducted by the counterterrorism, reconnaissance and military units in urban

environments.

Fitted with a variety of weapons and sensors, the robot will improve the combat effectiveness

of the infantry squads, while offering maximum protection to the personnel.

The combat vehicle is based on tracked chassis equipped with six road wheels, an idler and

a drive sprocket.

It is 5.12 metre-long, 2.53 metre-wide and 2.5 metre-high, and has a kerb weight of approximately

10,000 kilogram.

The Uran-9 robotic system is fitted with a remotely operated turret for mounting different

light and medium-calibre weapons and missiles, based on mission needs.

The weapon system has four 9M120-1 Ataka anti-tank guided missile launchers, two on each side,

to defeat the enemy main battle tanks and armoured targets.

The 9M120-1 Ataka missile offers a firing range of 0.4 kilometre to 6 kilometre, and

is capable of penetrating armour to a depth of 800 millimetre behind explosive reactive

armour.

The turret also incorporates one stabilised 30 millimetre 2A72 automatic cannon for defence

against ground and low-flying aerial targets, as well as one Kalashnikov PKT/PKTM 7.62 millimetre

coaxial machine gun to engage ground-based light armoured targets.

The robot is also provided with six 93 millimetre-calibre rocket-propelled Shmel-M reactive flamethrowers,

three on each side of the turret.

With a maximum firing range of 1 kilometre, the Shmel-M can destroy enemy manpower and

weaponry inside protective shelters and field fortifications.

Weapon options for the Uran-9 vehicle include four Igla surface-to-air missiles, 9K333 Verba

man-portable air defence systems, and up to six 9M133M Kornet-M anti-tank guided missiles.

The robotic system is equipped with a wide range of remote-controlled sensor modules

such as laser warning system, and electro-optic and thermal imaging cameras.

The onboard fire control system consists of automatic target detection, identification

and tracking devices, as well as a ballistic computer.

It is capable of detecting and tracking enemy targets travelling at a distance of 6 kilometre

during the day and at 3 kilometre at night.

The Uran-9 robot is manually controlled by a single operator from a mobile command and

control station mounted on a 6x6 tactical truck from a safe distance of 3 kilometre.

It can also be controlled by means of a portable control panel, in the manual mode.

In addition, the vehicles are capable of moving autonomously in a column.

Power for the robot comes from a diesel-electric power plant, which provides a maximum speed

of 35 kilometers per hour on highways.

The Uran-9 can travel at a maximum cross-country speed of 25 kilometers per hour and can attain

a maximum speed of 10 kilometers per hour on off-road conditions.

The robot's tracked chassis offers increased cross-country mobility.

The average specific ground pressure is 0.6 kilograms/square.

Testing the FF 91: Dynamic Vehicle Control - Duration: 1:48.

Building an entirely new vehicle from the ground up is a challenge that's

incredibly inspiring, but also very daunting. We take a "no compromise"

approach to engineering and designing the FF 91. That's why testing is

especially critical. We're focusing on the slalom, lane change and turning circle. Each will

help us evaluate three key components of dynamic vehicle control. Four-wheel steering

is how we're developing optimal trajectory control. The rear wheels can turn in the

same or opposite direction as the front, depending on the situation.

So even though it's a very spacious and long-wheelbase luxury vehicle, the FF 91

can turn like a mid-size segment car and handle like a much smaller performance car.

Torque vectoring by electric motor is one of our most powerful tools. Two independent rear

motors can control stability with an instantaneous response, and a higher

level precision; all without sacrificing speed.

Testing our semi-active dampers puts us closer to optimized handling and comfort,

independent of the road condition. These three features unified by the Dynamic

Vehicle Controller are a future industry standard. We're constantly pushing the limits of

our technology across number of rigorous environment. Because the more

demanding the test, the more we can refine, advance and evolve the FF 91.

Electrifying the Port Vehicle Fleet - Duration: 1:18.

As we continue to consider the fallout of the United States backing out of the Paris

Accord, I keep thinking about ways in which we can take local action to address climate

change now.

And as Port Commissioner there are quite a few things that we could do.

One of my ideas is to electrify the vehicle fleet, not only at the Port itself, but also

the vehicles that service the Port indirectly: the drayage trucks around the Port that take

containers from the shipyards out to the train yards and to warehouses locally.

The impact of this would carry much more weight for the community than just the direct impacts,

because imagine us setting up entire vehicle recharging stations that could service both

the Port and the community at large.

What an impact that would have by both reducing the direct emissions from diesel vehicles

in the area, but also meaning that we would not have to bring in fossil fuels from outside

Northwest energy sources and could instead use our renewable energy sources from wind

and solar and hydro that are produced right here in the Northwest.

These are the kind of forward-looking changes we need to enact right now to mitigate the

impacts of climate change.

How To Mass Edit Vehicles | Fleet Productivity - Duration: 2:45.

Vehicles in MyGeotab can have customized settings like work time, time zone, driver feedback,

and group assignments, and mass editing can be used to apply these settings and make changes

to multiple vehicles at the same time.

To navigate to your Vehicles, select "Vehicles" from the left menu sidebar.

Here is a list of the vehicles on our database.

The mass editing option is available on any screen where there is a check mark in the

upper right.

Click on the checkmark to reveal options.

"Select visible" will select all items in the list.

"Select individual" allows you to select assets to edit by clicking on the checkbox

"Select all in filter" selects all assets belonging to the group selected in the groups

filter

"Select none" will clear out any previously selected assets.

In this example, we are going to be modifying vehicles to adjust their time zones, set up

driver feedback, and assign them to a group.

After making your selections, choose the "Edit selected devices" button along the top of

the screen.

Time zone is listed under Detailed Device Info.

From here, we can also make changes to a vehicle's work time, GO talk language, and HOS settings.

Next, click on the Driver Feedback tab.

We will turn device beeping on for all vehicles, and then select the exact feedback.

Here, we will set these devices to beep when the vehicle has been idling for a period of

time, which we can adjust in the text box.

Under the groups tab, we can either add groups to these vehicle's current assignments,

or we can replace their current groups with different groups.

In this instance, we will add the selected vehicles to the North group.

If desired, from this same menu, users also have the option to apply a mass edit to auxiliaries

and custom parameters.

When finished making changes, click the save button, then "accept" to confirm.

You have successfully mass edited vehicles.
