Tour de Lyme: What A Great Time | Road Biking Treasure - Duration: 9:05.

Yeah so, Susan I did the tour of the line a couple weeks back

so the event that takes place in Lyme Connecticut so several rides that are

offered during the tour a 62 mile challenge 35 miles valley lights and a

26 mile ride Susan I signed up for the 2602 25 mile right simply because this

was Susan force tour as well as mine but more importantly Susan is brand-new to

Road biking English actually having done much more than 25 miles on an ear for

four or five mile trips that we've taken four or five trips that we have taken

rather so we wanted to keep it as a easy and

fun event for her myself it's up tonight easy ride

I'm happy to report the tour is a big was a big success lot of people showed

up for it and the weather was ideal and I really

really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be doing it again

next year

Hey ladies taking your time we'll stay away from going through the center of

town this morning I want to go a left-hand turn up there and look at the

bikes coming in my direction that they look like little tour groups up next

must be about 12 people boy

yes beginning back toward the line first of all I got tired I give Susan a lot of

fresh for rock even attempting the ride

she isn't been writing a lot this summer her discover the season so far

primarily because she's working and your schedule was such that she doesn't get a

lot of time to ride and fortunately a day long day that she had off including

attend a week 10 week vacation she took Hill more than a week Rick hates that

she took off we had mostly rain that week so that kind of stopped for anyway

the reason I gave her a lot of credit during the tour first of all last year

when I was first kind of getting into gold backing it in myself and I was

doing okay but maybe around 40 mile an hour average speed with all handle I

knew about the tour I was told about the tour by a friend of mine who is a

cyclist and chickened out decided not to do it

primarily though just embarrassing I would be so slow that everyone would

just drop me and leave us behind but anyway so you can didn't care about

that you said now we'll just do what we're going to do where we have fun it's

not a race and we just have a great time one of the things that I really enjoy

most about the tour is uh you know just the fact that you deal with a lot of

other people and you get a chance exchange and share your love and your

interest of being on a road bike so I found that was that was really nice it

was nice to be in a crowd of people like that

plus I've been following a few people same as susan has on Straubel who live

in our state and actually their backyard

is

the town and worthy toward the one was held so we knew the man signed up for it

but we weren't sure whether or not

based on the Proud sighs whatever you know cross paths during the event and it

was just kind of amazed because to denier

on our ride and this person comes up along next to me so I barely had time to

notice you've recognized that road by me she said hey Jerri it's Jen and that

should not be one of the people at my fall

hot job on the first of all basic crap on me that she picked me out of a crowd

first of all in tackling pick me out of a crowd of writers from behind so I

thought it was pretty cool that we got a chance to cross paths

and then maybe about half a later there were a group of riders coming down the

hill that I was running up they were coming down from the opposite side

obviously can I hear something to yell out hey Gerry

it's Jennifer her that's the son of a bitch that waved the word and again

somebody from Strava died call to recognize thee while passing from the

opposite direction so while they were going downhill which

means they're moving pretty good so that was very cool you know

after the event there is a picnic that takes place and I did get a chance to

meet one of the jennifer's to lie fallow face up face and have a conversation

with and I really thought that was quite remarkable considering the pathway that

led to us getting to know each other essentially starting with both being on

strata both recognizing each other and following each other sharing some common

interest and some common topics in our comment section to each other on Strava

leading to us actually meeting and getting to know each other a little bit

better very cool very cool yeah so getting back to the tour de line I was

really impressed with it it's not a big event maybe six seven hundred six or

seven hundred people showed up I think and I think the majority of the crowd

showed up for the earlier departure ride which is the I think around 62 miles or

so but nonetheless we had a nice group of people that we took off with and as I

said earlier I'm looking forward to doing it again next year

and so it was in by the way she hopes to be a bit stronger by then so that she

doesn't she doesn't feel like she's holding me

back so much but I told her you know what this is all about having fun today

so and we did you know it was just a beautiful event a great day to be out

writing

you

RETRIBUTION What Putin Said About Trump Last Night Will Make Dems Sweat Bullets - Duration: 16:47.

RETRIBUTION What Putin Said About Trump Last Night Will Make Dems Sweat Bullets

The Democrats were just delt a massive blow last night courtesy of Vladimir Putin and

his new buddy, Megyn Kelly.

Y'all probably remember how the left loves sayin' how Putin's got some dirty info

on Donald Trump, right?

That's their whole reason they call Trump a "puppet".

Well, during Kelly's first interview with NBC, the Russian President himself set that

rumor to bed once-and-for-all…

Putin said that Russia has NO incriminating information of President Trump.

Vladimir Putin told Megyn Kelly,

"This is just another load of nonsense.

Where would we get this information from?

Why, did we have some special relationship with him?

We didn't have any relationship at all.

There was a time when he used to come to Moscow.

But you know, I never met with him."

He also went on to say there were NO secret meetings between the Trump campaign and Kremlin

and his "jaw dropped" when he heard that.

The whole interview is fantastic and you should absolutely watch it right here:

Anyways, this is the kind of stuff the mainstream media will either trash or simply ignore.

It's what they do, after all.

Is Russia to be "trusted"?

No.

But that does not mean they are lying.

So here we are.

We gotta share the ACTUAL words out ourselves, otherwise, the MSM writes their own narrative.

Do you think Trump won fair-and-square?

Gynecomastia Surgery Recovery Time - And What Should You Expect During Recovery? - Duration: 3:04.

Some of the most common questions regarding gynecomastia surgery recovery are: How long

does it take to recover after surgery?

What to expect during a patient's gynecomastia surgery recovery time? and what can I do to

make sure my recovery is as fast and as easy as possible?

Hi – In this video we will answer 5 frequently asked questions about gynecomastia surgery

recovery that will inform and prepare you better for your gynecomastia surgery.

ONE: How much time does it take to recover?

The typical overall time of recovery will be two weeks after surgery.

Most patients can return to work usually within 1 to 2 days after surgery.

Also, most patients can resume light physical activity within 5 to 10 days post-surgery.

TWO: Will my gynecomastia recovery be painful?

Gynecomastia surgery and the following recovery period is meant to be as painless and brief

as possible.

If you find yourself feeling any discomfort or pain, you can always consult the doctor.

Most methods that limit and eliminate pain will be implemented throughout the recovery

THREE: How can you take care of yourself after surgery to make sure the healing process happens

smoothly?

You may be asked to avoid heavy lifting for one week to two weeks after your surgery is

to reduce swelling and fluid collection.

FOUR: How will my medical information be handled by my doctor and other hospital staff members

post-surgery?

All medical personnel involved with your surgery will keep your medical information strictly

confidential throughout the entire treatment process.

All discussions regarding your recovery will be kept private for your peace of mind and

safety.

FIVE: How soon will I notice results?

She's Done! What Megyn Kelly Is Going To Ask Kim Jong Un Will Make Your Jaw Drop - Duration: 16:03.

She's Done!

What Megyn Kelly Is Going To Ask Kim Jong-Un Will Make Your Jaw Drop

Megyn Kelly has been in a nosedive from the grace of the American public since she started

bad mouthing President Trump and her coworkers at Fox News.

Then she showed her true colors and left Fox News for MSNBC which is right up there with

CNN on its fake news levels, but now what she has done something to her own career that

is not just bad for her but a disgrace for the country.

It appears that Megyn Kelly's next interview will be with none other than Kim Jong-Un himself

and the topics they are reportedly covering according to a North Korean twitter account.

Kelly will be covering none other than the very important topics of Un's love of kittens

and the prosperity of North Korea.

This comes after North Korea has not only threatened to destroy San Francisco with a

nuclear bomb in a propaganda film, but has also been testing several missiles in an attempt

to prove their military might.

This has prompted a response from President Trump who has shown that the US is able to

shoot down any missile the North Koreans try to launch after they successfully tested for

the first time an intercept missile last month.

If this is all Megyn Kelly is going to ask the leader of the country that threatened

to destroy San Francisco with a nuclear bomb than she is going to get less achieved than

Dennis Rodman going to North Korea.

If Megyn Kelly couldn't handle doing real news, it is no wonder that she left Fox News

for MSNBC.

If this is what she calls hard hitting reporting then its no wonder that she got chosen for

the interview with the leader of the North Korea.

They didn't want a real interview so they chose

Megyn Kelly.

What I Wish I Knew After Graduation - Post Harvard University | Ahsante the Artist - Duration: 5:29.

The best is yet to come & babe won't it be fine

Hey it's Ahsante and it seems like once you graduate from college, you're supposed

to have your whole life figure out. Like you got a degree in divination or something.

Graduating from college feels like a pretty uncertain time in your life.

It isn't quite like jumping off a cliff, because you have got some idea,

but it's like venturing into the Amazon. It's exciting, it's unfamiliar territory.

You've got a map, that you've spent the last four or so years figuring out how to

use, you walked across the stage, they gave you

the map, But the Amazon is a jungle, it does what it

wants. Maybe you step into that first job, realize

the water is murky and come up with ringworm. You might start off thinking that you know

where you're going only to realize that you've been following somebody else's

smoke signals and you're completely lost. You may be able to dodge the jaguars and the

alligators and Sally Mae, but then slip on a a poison dart frog and fall into a pit of

taxes. I've never been to the Amazon, but I assume

it's similar to that. So in order that you may have a safe and non

infectious journey through these next couple years, here are 10 things that I wish I'd

known when I graduated college at Harvard.

There's all this pressure to have a job right when you graduate. But this is not Judge Judy,

you get to work on your own timeline. You will find a job eventually.

And many of your peers who have jobs now will be trying to leave them in a year.

Cause, ya know, ringworm is not cute. There's this idea that you graduate, find

a job, and then you're set, but you're actually going to have to do

some moving and experimenting to find what's right for you.

To 2015 Ahsante, You won't be settling down any time soon.

I know you love your independence, but there's no shame in living at home.

You're in a rush to be on your own but, you're blessed with supportive parents so

you really don't need to be. And I mean, free food amirite.

You don't even treck across campus and listen to a presentation you didn't even like just

to get what turns out to be lukewarm plain cheese pizza.

Delicious and often homemade free food right downstairs. Embrace it.

Girl, I know it seems like everyone is moving to NY or LA, but some people aren't and

you shouldn't feel pressure to do so. A lot of your friends will actually stay in

the same town for a while after school. And you'll actually grow to like Boston

in the summer. You know once those April snow showers clears

out and it actually warms up. The two months of summer, it's nice.

College gives you an unrealistic expectation of what friendship should be like.

No you won't always see all of your friends all of the time, but you'll keep in touch

with the friends who count.

As you start working, put aside some budget to travel and visit friends, to facilitate

that last point.

The constant stress, periodic depressive episodes, and judgmental cliqueiness you experienced

at Harvard made you wonder if it would be worth it,

and having had two years the get over the PTSD you're finally starting to see the

results and yes your life is better for it. Like when I say the struggle was real as the

entire set of rational and irrational numbers, it was real.

But worth it, the sum of the series was positive in value. Ok, enough with the math jokes,

I diverge.

The best part about Harvard is the people and you are going to be leaning on an amazing

network of friends and alumni who will be incredibly generous and supportive.

There's really no way to casually mention that you went to Harvard.

You're always going to get a big reaction, you've tried every way possible to play

it off, be cool. It's just not going to happen, people are

just going to have high expectations of you from now on, so you know, have fun dashing

those.

Even though you just got these fancy degrees that make you look like you know what you're

talking about, to a certain degree everyone is still faking it.

People don't know what they're going to do with their lives.

Your peers may think they know but they actually don't because they haven't tried it yet.

You can't tell what's going to be a good fit down the road.

You don't need a 5 year plan, and anyone who acts like you do is probably just asking because

they're run out of questions during a job interview, so have some sort of answer, but

in reality it's not that deep.

And lastly, Commencement is aptly named. This is just the beginning, you're going

to do so much developing in the next year or so.

And girl don't worry, for you, college years are not the best years of your life. *phew*

As cliche as it sounds, the best is definitely yet to come.

Being an independent adult who is completely in control of how they spend their time is

pretty amazing. And those are things I wish I'd known.

Let me know what you wish you had known when you graduated,

and if you just graduated then congratulations and how are you feeling about all this - let

me know in the comments. You can like this video if you liked it, subscribe

of the first ones, you get a little shout out.

Huge thanks to them and today I want to especially shout out Melissa - Melissa, you've had

my back for a while, thank you for helping me to make this a reality.

As always, remember to live spiritedly and think creatively.

What's making me happy this week is Evelyn from the Internet's video - love her stuff.

And it's on feeling behind in life. It's creative, it's a collaboration between her

and Hallease who I really like as well so I will definitely link that and go check it

out.

Thanks to everyone who's signed up for my email newsletter. That's where you can keep

up with me, everything that I've posted across the internet. And get some recommendations,

an extra article, so it's pretty fun! Keep up to date, keep in the loop.

For instance I actually have posted a video in the past week, it just wasn't on my channel.

It was for the New Age Creators and I'll link it here but the newsletter is a way to

keep up with that sort of thing.

And VidCon! VidCon's coming up, I'm a featured creator again this year! Whaat? I'm

so excited. I'm really busy this year so I'll link my agenda in case you're coming.

Definitely say hi, find me, I would love to see you.

Well, I'm going to go find the right smoke signals to follow. Thank you so much for watching

and I will see you next time. *POP*

QA 98 - What should to get more conversion with a Facebook ad with a relevancy score of 7? - Duration: 3:47.

Shane: What's going on guys this is Shane and Jocelyn Sam's from flippedlifestyle.com

and we just enjoyed a lunch at one of our favorite places to Dupont Lodge, and it's

up at Cumberland falls in Kentucky, and you can see the Cumberland River

right behind us but we thought we would bring you guys along for lunch today and answer

some questions from our Patreon community over at flippedlifestyle.com/patreon for the

Q&A w/ S&J video show over on YouTube and the Q&A desk a podcast that you can find on

iTunes.

Jocelyn: Today's question is from Osha Compliance Help -- I don't have a name on this one so

I apologize for that -- it says "what should I do to get more conversions on a Facebook

ad with a relevancy score of seven?"

Shane: Alright, first that's a great relevancy score, we always look for 7, 8, 9, you know

something higher than 7 before we really go forward on an ad, but you don't really want

to freak out about your relevancy score and what relevancy is, relevancy on Facebook is

-- have you created an ad that Facebook thinks your audience is going to respond to or is

responding to, so the more relevant your ad, in theory, the better it will work with your

audience, okay.

What you really want to look at after you get your ad going is the frequency.

Don't just turn an ad on, it goes through, your

frequency is 1 -- that means it's appearing like an average of one time in someone's newsfeed

and then turn it off because you don't think it's good enough.

I just ran an ad recently and it took two weeks before anybody started responding to

it, but I waited for that frequency score to get up to around four or five before I

really started looking at the numbers.

A lot of times we'll just start ads and let them run until they get to that point because

you really can't tell how an ad is doing until people have seen it multiple times.

Think about commercials that you see on TV.

You know we all have jingles in our head we've all seen the same commercials over and over.

When you watch a football game, you'll see ten Pepsi commercials or whatever, that's

because they know that frequency is what's important.

They've got to get the ad in your mind so once you have that relevant ad, leave it running.

Let it go, let it respond in the marketplace and let people see it over and over again.

Jocelyn: Another thing that you need to look at is the conversion rate.

So, you need to see how many people have seen your ad and what percentage of them are doing

the desired response.

So, you know you want to look for about three to five percent at the minimum.

If you're getting more than that then that, it means that your ad is probably pretty successful.

If you're getting less than that and several hundred people have seen it multiple times,

then probably you might want to think about making some changes.

Shane: So that's great that you got an awesome relevant ad for your audience.

Just make sure you're letting your audience see it over and over again.

Don't get spooked as soon as you start your ad and turn it off if nobody buys in the first

24 hours.

Let it run, get that frequency over 4 and your ads should be fine.

Jocelyn: If you would like to submit a question for the Q&A w/ S&J, you can head on over to

flippedlifestyle.com/patreon to learn more about how to do that.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO TURN 21 - Duration: 1:31.

I honestly thought I would be feeling really bad today, but I'm actually really happy!

*awkward dance*

I always dreamed of becoming , like, 18.. Because then I was so old and so (mature).

And now I'm like 21 and I'm still childish and still young...

I thought that things would be so different, you know.

It makes it really clear that it's your mindset that makes you young or old.

And I think that's a really great thing to learn, like when you're 21

It's like my power to be happy or my power to be unhappy

And I want to choose happiness now.

How To Stop Caring What Other People Think Of You At Work ✓ - Duration: 13:05.

This week's video is on the soft skills side.

Starting from next week, we'll talk about more hard skills, like; Project management,

risk management, strategy development.

But this week, I will have to shed some light on a problem that most of you suffer from.

And that is the fact that; at work; you care too much of what other people think of you.

This phenomenon sometimes results in you losing your happiness, you losing your "will"

your fighting power to do your best, or sometimes it makes you lose your job.

Your human pleasing tendencies got to a stage that dictates your psychology and your performance

at work.

If somebody praises you, you feel great.

And if they god forbid they criticize you, then you feel horrible.

Your day is ruined.

If that is you, then stick around a bit more; because in this video, we are gonna cure you

of your human pleasing tendencies and make you immune to a criticism at work.

Let's first talk about why this is happening.

Why you are obsessed with people pleasing and why it wrecks your life when somebody

doesn't like you or what you do.

Why you are happy when you get praises and discouraged when you get criticism at work.

In your mind, you have created this mental image of how you perceive yourself, of who

you are, what you are capable of, what you can achieve.

This is not a problem.

We all construct that image of who we are.

But, the problem is; you are constantly looking for validation of that image.

You want proof that your image is accurate.

You want this proof to come from your team members, your managers, from your subordinates.

You are dependent on the opinion of others.

And that's where you make the mistake.

Your perception of yourself is independent of how they perceive you are.

I'll explain this a bit more.

There isn't a single perception of a person that unites all the viewpoints.

And that's what you need to accept if you want to lead a happier career.

I can go out on the street right now and ask 10 different people of what they think of

one of the greatest leaders in our time Barack Obama.

I am confident I'll receive 10 different perceptions of himself.

Some will think he was a great leader, fought for the good of humanity, equal rights, and

some will think he was a weak leader who sold the country to banksters.

So, what is the key takeaway?

The key takeaway is that the moment you realize that your perception of yourself is independent

from what people think of you, then you will realize that there is simply

no reason to look for validation of that perception from those around you.

Hmm..

Did you get this?

I'll repeat; Once you realize that your perception of yourself,

your mental image is independent from what people think of you, then you will

realize it is silly to look for a validation of that

perception.

So, what's the solution; The solution isn't very simple.

And it'll take me about 5 minutes to explain it.

So, please be patient.

You need to start feeling confident of who you are and who you can be at work.

You are like a river.

With praises and criticism you go a little west a little east, but you still go towards

the ocean.

A river doesn't stop because it encountered a mountain.

It goes around it.

A person who is truly grounded with himself or herself doesn't really need feedback.

positive or negative.

Because you should already know your weaknesses and strengths.

You already know your capabilities and your potential.

Once you reach that level of self-realization at work, you will quickly find that the feedback

you receive from your managers and subordinates are pretty much useless or redundant because

you should already know them in advance.

That's how you create a powerful life.

You have to become your biggest support but also your biggest critique.

I'll quote Richard Feynman here; "The first principle is that you must not

fool yourself – and you are the easiest person to fool".

You'll understand me a lot better once you start reaching your self-realization.

Hopefully soon.

Once you are there, you'll realize for yourself that 9 out 10 feedback you receive are completely

useless or redundant.

With this approach, maybe you will potentially miss out on that 1 valuable feedback that

you weren't aware of.

But, at least, you are saving yourself the distraction that comes from 9 useless ones.

It's a trade-off.

It's a decision you need to make.

Praise and critism are both problems for you.

Look there are 2 routes you can take, Route A is my way.

Be grounded enough so you are not affected by either the critics or the praises.

You are grounded.

You truly know who you are.

And you try to do better everytime.

Route B is, live your life affected by the praises and criticism.

And I know receiving a praise feels awesome.

Even if it's temporary, it feels great.

Your brain releases Dopamine.

You feel happy.

But at the same time, be prepared to receive a stress hormone; cortisol when somebody critizes

you.

You can't pick and choose which hormones you want.

Once you open that door, it's a very distracting game.

You either completely ignore them both.

Or you be prepared to get distracted and sometimes emotionally wrecked by critiques.

I choose Route A. I choose independence.

No one around me at work, can have such a power over me.

Now, the counter argument you can present to my stand is that hey I love my life.

I get a lot of praises everyday at work.

I am awesome.

I have a brilliant career.

Then, I would say, it's probably time for you to step up then.

It means you have outgrown your role or even your employer.

If all the feedback you get are positive ones, the praises, then you are a league below where

you should be.

You put AC Milan or FC Barcelona in an amateur's league all they'll receive is praises.

They'll win the championship without a single loss.

So, if that's you, I guarantee you that it's not sustainable.

There'll come a time in your career when you are challenged to your bits and you'll

receive more criticism than praises.

Maybe you'll have to change your employer, a new manager will come…

Who knows… or another possibility is that…

you will lose your skills.

You know there is a saying "Who you spend time with is who you become".

One way or another it's not sustainable.

And when that happens, it will destroy your phsychology.

Because all those years, you have conditioned yourself to get your energy and motivation

from positive feedback.

You have conditioned your subconscious mind to value feedback.

Of course you would, it's all positive.

Why wouldn't you?

So, it must be true.

And that's exactly why you'll be a total mess when the tide turns.

I see this a lot.

Whenever we get a new member to our team at PwC Consulting, if that person is joining

from a non-management consulting background.

He is wrecked.

The level of intensity we play is not comparable to anything out there.

So, in all their lives, they achieved amazing things with their former employers, be it

P&G, Unilever, Goldman Sachs, Google.

They achieved a lot and they received nothing but praises.

So, they got used to it.

They join a consulting firm, and their life turns upside down.

Most of them don't even survive the first year.

I've seen men in their 50s crying out loud, in the middle of our office.

The guy was a former VP in Google.

So, what's the solution to this.

How do I solve this problem?

You need to come to a self-realization right now.

You need to acknowledge that the current strategy you are using, the strategy of seeking validation

of your self-image is a crappy strategy.

And it's time to get rid of it.

You need to acknowledge that the happiness that comes from receiving praises, is also

the very reason why you feel sad when you receive criticism.

If you train yourself not to be happy with the unwanted praises, then only will you be

able to become immune to the emotional wreck that comes with critism.

You can't have it both ways.

You can't just be happy with praises and not be sad with criticism.

You don't need praise to keep on going and exceling in your life.

If I needed praise, I would have never developed LIG, the most powerful career transformation

program in the world.

if I needed praise or if I paid attention to all the critiques, LIG would never exist

and would never have transformed over 1,000 careers, and lives.

And now looking back, I consider that the biggest achievement of my life- not being

a manager with PwC, a decade of management consulting experience, or my fancy MBA degree.

No.

This video is getting really long.

But if you have time, I want to talk about one final topic.

The remaining of the video will be of extra interest to those of you who are more analytical

than intuitive.

The worst kind of feedback that I reject at all costs is the ones that I receive after

every single client presentation.

In your case, it may be a sales pitch if you are in sales, or developing reports, handling

meetings, something that you do very often.

So, the reason for that has to do with a concept called Regression To The Mean.

What it is is that a phenomenon that if a variable is extreme on its first measurement,

it will tend to be closer to the average on its second measurement.

Or in more simple terms, it is a technical way of saying that things tend to even out

over time.

For example, you deliver a great presentation today.

That means you probably won't be able to repeat it again tomorrow.

It doesn't mean all of a sudden you forgot how to deliver presentations.

It's just the natural progression of how things work.

Things always work in volatility.

Random chance plays a huge role in everything we do.

You always fall back towards your mean average.

if you do horrible today, then you'll likely do a lot better tomorrow.

So, receiving a praise or critism for every single one of your presentations is ineffective

at best or detrimental at worst.

Knowing what to do or what not to do is very different than being able to do it at such

high quality, all the time.

I see this all the time.

Majority of employees in today's corporates are Agreeable-Givers.

What does this even mean?

Giving and taking is the back of our motives, right?

What are your intentions toward other people?

Do you want them to succeed or do you want to them to fail.

And being agreeable is also great.

It's just about pleasing other people.

Being in harmony and getting along all the time without confrontations.

But being highly agreeable as a giver is a curse.

Befcaue you end up becoming a push over.

Everyone expects you to not just listen to them but implement all their suggestions and

feedback.

And that my friends are the easiest way you can screw up a career.

This is especially horrible if you are in managerial positions.

My advice to you is to become more of a disagreeable giver.

Meaning, you still hold the best intentions for other people around you, be it your boss

or your subordinates, thrive to make them successful but at the same time be disagreeable.

Somebody comes up to you with feedback, or suggestions.

Be prepared to reject that suggestion.

So, final thoughts; a person who is truly grounded is the biggest

praiser and the biggest critique of himself If you can achieve this, then everyone else

at work becomes "just another ordinary human being.

And that's when you start becoming an extraordinary human being"…

And you start leading a lot happier life as you'll be a lot happier at work.

This video is done.

Washington Is Going To FREAK When They See What Trump Just Unveiled This Sunday Morning - Duration: 16:47.

Washington Is Going To FREAK When They See What Trump Just Unveiled This Sunday Morning

President Trump will unveil his plan this week for a $1 TRILLION infrastructure plan,

updating everything from our roads to our air traffic control system.

And here's the best part:

President Trump will try to get most of it paid for by businesses and local governments,

NOT the federal government.

Democrats love spending other people's money, so they're going to hate this plan.

President Trump had made a highly successful career as a builder and developer in New York

City and around the world before being elected.

During his campaign, he promised to use that experience and expertise to update America's

badly deteriorating infrastructure.

That's what I love about having an entrepreneur for a president- President Trump knows how

to conduct business and get the most value for the American taxpayer's dollar.

"We like the template of not using taxpayer dollars to give taxpayers wins," said Gary

Cohn, President Trump's infrastructure adviser and director of the National Economic Council.

One major part of the plan will be privatizing and reforming the country's air-traffic

control system.

President Trump wants to modernize air-traffic control to use digital satellite-based tracking

systems instead of land-based radar, which will be both cost saving and more accurate.

The air-traffic control system will also be turned over to a private non-profit, which

will come to a huge savings to the government and the American taxpayer.

More details for America's new infrastructure plan will be unveiled later this week, so

stay tuned!

And share this story one million times to show the world we love having a president

that GETS THINGS DONE!

#7 -What I See in Southwestern U.S. - Duration: 35:05.

Welcome to the Julie Rowe Show today we have a great guest on the phone my

friend Joel and we've got Eric on the phone as well I'd like to welcome you guys how

are you today so great Julie thank you for having me

on please leave ours on one podcast that's all we started talking about what

I see in the night it states and we're going to we're going to pick up we left

off Eric how are you today great weather's beautiful today

yes it's beautiful here in Kansas too this dive just a few clouds and nice and

sunny at 81 degrees most Tuesday I'm not sure when this was going to error but

today's Tuesday all right so just wanted to welcome you

guys welcome the audience thanks for listening and let you know in advance

we've been working on trying to get up to speed on some of this stuff we are

new to doing the podcast and it's been reported back to us so we're having some

auditory issues and sound issues on the patio Matic side as well as I decided

text that at least one of the podcasts was cutting off and somebody was trying

to listen to it just let you know we're trying to work through those kinks but

in the meantime stay tuned keep checking in with us subscribe to my channels

either on YouTube YouTube or automatic or false and send them to your friends

and family today we're going to pick up where we left off with Seoul and that's

talking about what I see in the United States so I'm going to turn the time

over to Joel asked his question we left off in Southern California yeah we

actually didn't talk about Southern California too much as hoping to get a

little bit of spring California today maybe some Hawaii Arizona New Mexico and

maybe Texas if we if we can get that much in today we'll see okay but it's

not what about Nevada too and that is right there next Arizona no excellent

yes I forgot about blue meta and if there's people in Utah lucky we

might talk about st. George I don't know we could do a whole podcast just on the

greater st. George area so let's see what we can do we've got about 3540

minutes we're going to try and get as much done as we can debate and then

we'll pick up where we left off on that one the next time we have Joel on it

again this was Joel's idea to talk about what I see in the United States and then

he also suggested that we talk about what I see in the world six students for

the broadcast that I do with Jill that that's Orthodox in external podcast

recordings with my guest Joel alright so we left off in California I wanted to

add I didn't I didn't add everything you know as far as disasters but just think

about everything that could possibly happen as far as natural disasters go

and you're going to see that all over the world in some areas more than others

like mudslides because excess rains or lots of snow that melts and causes

mudslides or sometimes earthquakes with lightning and thunder and tornadoes and

then that causes moisture so I wanted to mention that because I don't want people

to think that just because I don't mention it it won't happen I can see

already people are going to go she never said anything about an earthquake in you

know such and such place for instance I haven't talked much about earthquakes

happening in Idaho or other other volcanoes of things but they will they

will happen there we'll talk a little more about Idaho later and you know just

because I don't say it doesn't mean I don't see it or doesn't happen and just

because I don't don't say it doesn't mean I have seen it or have power

haven't seen the other way I don't know if I've seen everything I guess I seem a

lot they show me enough to give me an idea some of the things are going to

happen and some specific things in certain areas and I I know basic

geography in areas that I've never studied these maps I don't I don't get

on the internet and study the topography or the geography of the United States or

of the world this is all stuff that's just been shown to me in usually

starting in night vision and then I have follow-up day visions that go along with

it sometimes now in the last couple years I

more of it in day vision and there's lots of different types of businesses

you have so with with Northern California I see

I pointed ad I do see mudslide popping they're also flooding we're going to

have mass amounts of flooding and then in other areas and in some places

sometimes the exactly location where we had flooding in the United States will

then later have droughts and famines so just think of everything that's talked

about in the scriptures and we're going to live through it in the seven years of

tribulation I'm going down to Southern California we pick up with the foreign

troops coming in first meeting land coming on to the shore the first the

fourth first boots on the ground that I see come into the Los Angeles area going

north through through Los Angeles they also come through by air as they

parachute down on the land so they come in by submarine and vote mostly

submarine and then parachuters coming down paratroopers and we're talking

about massive amounts of foreign troops coming in in that area as a Chinese

troops they come in to the Los Angeles area and go on up the coast going north

toward San Francisco and then from sound spins at the still coming south and

going north and then from Los Angeles going both south and then also coming

into San Diego and going north towards LA as they meet I try to cut people off

who are trying to fight food clothing shelter and other rescue from the storms

from the disasters and from the for truth those in Southern California

trying to escape the cities where there's a later math institution and

other really really really dark things as well as like tsunami and earthquakes

and other natural disasters some people at first and this is kind of the pattern

at first people go and try to go on by car or motorbike or any kind of faster

because they can't I even saw people getting on their horses and people that

live in the country that were more isolated that they didn't live quite far

away and us as where they were in location

troops are coming through or people from the cities we're coming out like if they

live an hour outside of LA for instance in San Diego and they had lands and they

had horses they were even trying to get on their horses to escape anything other

than trying to have to leave by foot so the majority of people at some point in

time are ending up doing that evacuations by foot because the highways

are broken up the back roads are more accessible for a while

Marauders are around there surveying the prisons and a lot of areas are broken up

and so and people abandon their post and so the prisoners get out there are a lot

of reasons why it becomes dangerous for people in these last days as they are

trying to hunt down and find safety in San Diego we have a huge influx of

people coming in from Mexico it's already getting pretty dangerous when it

comes to the drug cartels we see that going into Arizona let's

transfer over into Arizona I see mass exodus of people in

California and Arizona going north and those coming in from Nevada from Las

Vegas I assume they're put nuclear explosions in both Phoenix and Las Vegas

and also in through the coastal cities were more of the missiles coming into

the coastal cities and then this is coming in nuclear explosions in in both

Las Vegas and in Phoenix Las Vegas on the strip in particular is pretty much

annihilated and so mass exodus of individuals coming from Los Angeles over

into the greater st. George Utah area Royal Gorge is blown it's cut off after

cut off and we are speaking with GTRs that's one of the locations we are

seeking to have supplies ready to be distributed so when people come and mass

exodus on foot or by car or whatever means they can we are ready with as many

supplies as we can and with men and women who can help give give a

I see people coming from Arizona on up all the way into southern Utah as well

and different parts of Nevada like Reno and other places that are also populated

that the Phoenix area I see people going and and trying to

find safety in the snowflake area the Pine Valley some of those upper mountain

areas with the high desert mountain areas they try to find a refuge there in

the Tucson area I find them going some of them going

from em in other areas I used to live out there Joel you used to live out

there you know Mount Lemmon dutchess I do yeah so it's not a big enough

Mountain for everybody in Tucson is it oh no not at all right so we see a lot

of people there and the trick do get over to Mount Lemmon because it only

takes about an hour to get up Mount Lemmon so for those that are listening

to me if I were in your shoes and you live in Tucson I would not I would not

go to Mount Lemmon they'll count on that being a place of safety you have nowhere

else to go with sort of staying in your you know downtown South Tucson

neighborhood but the drug cartels have already come in into Phoenix in human

trafficking problems in both Phoenix and the Tucson area is huge right now it

will continue to be increased exponentially the human trafficking

problem will grow exponentially and the headquarters actually on the west coast

and western United States actually becomes Tucson and Phoenix that route

they do they'll bring people in as they already are from New Mexico on over into

Arizona and into the southern Utah area and they will also try to calculate

people from southern Utah taking them down into that Phoenix area one of the

reasons that the Lord does what he does is to try to essentially limit the

damage that's being done by so Satanists and those people that are working in the

human trafficking and drug cartels I see the temple of Baal be AAL being

erected in different parts of United States they've already got a gateway in

New York and in London they also have smaller gateways throughout the United

States the big building that they have not announced that did not made public

I see those gateways and those portables and their doorways being opened up and I

see them taking passengers and passages well under under the railroad through

the railroad and on other public transportation like subway systems and

trains and train stations so I caution you later on when you have

somebody in the government or in the military forces arc or there who are

trying to convince you to get on a bus or to try to get on a train or to try to

get on a subway and they're forcing you to do that with a promise of food or

otherwise if they're threatening if you don't do it they're going to interview

your family I caution you greatly against that in contrast to that I do

see the LDS providing buses and in Utah to help get people to places of safety

and one of the reasons the dark side excuse of buses is to try to mimic what

the light side is doing for places of safety so we have the LDS Church and

then that will be the main floor letter of the denominations that will provide

places of safety but there will be other other churches and communities that

provide safe havens for people across the United States the the remnants of

the government that are left over that is basically entirely run by the Getty

essence at this point in time anybody who had any allegiance to the flag of

the Constitution primarily when these foreigners come in it rise up against

against the foreign armies they do try to fight them and then they're called

upon to defend the Constitution even the elders of Israel and others within the

United States called upon to defend the Constitution as we go to war against the

United States Gaddy Anson's and against those foreign

invaders that are members of foreign armies many of which have been

indoctrinated with hate speech against the United States and false belief

system um let's see I think I need to take a breather that might be a lot

people are evil what do you think should I bring a part of it yeah yeah you have

to breathe for a moment and let people catch up here do you mind if I I'd like

to ask a question you talked about all these events unfolding and and I'm not

going to ask you when those occur but I can you tell us like in the sequence of

events we've already talked about the Wasatch wake up and then about a year

later we see a big one take place can you tell us when this all begins after

yeah all right I don't know exactly when this occurs I

have an idea a woman Kurt I'm not given permission to discuss

timelines of specifics over the podcast my understanding is I am 44 and I

believe that we will be invaded by the foreign armies before I'm 50 so and

it'll it'll be it could be as early as next year I don't know exactly when it

will be at the earliest we have sleeper cells throughout the

United States so those super cells are waiting for their cue and and we can we

could have an entire podcast on super cells in fact maybe we should do that

sometime but I see a lot of this being a combustible situation and and tell me a

little more time what your what your question was because my mind was already

jumping ahead shit I didn't talk about sleeper cells well well immediately on

this podcast you started talking about Southern California and invading troops

and so is that before during or after say the big one okay so I see that I see

the Wasatch wake up happens and I see with that obviously delivering a fire

coming alive because the continent you know they rub against each other

those those areas the landmass is even under the sea and so one one earthquake

kind of turtle is better equipped they all kind of coincide and they're become

so many one right after the other it's hard to see exactly when the foreign

ships come in because it feels like they come in almost right at the time that

the Ring of Fire in California opens up and I do know that that the seams I've

seen by the time the foreign so the foreign armies come up I would 191 they

also come up through i-15 become on i-70 I 80 to come in the main highways all

over the United States their goal is to take over the airport the school's the

hospitals government buildings and take over like main highway passages and put

checkpoints and other things up anywhere you can see where they could basically

either annihilate or or completely take over the most people and the most

infrastructure and have the least amount of resistance due to that

so the scenes that I've seen are the big one not the wasatch related but the big

one that's about a nine nine and a half or even cannot the Richter scale that

happens is the centers in Salt Lake and goes out on the Wasatch the foreign

troops come in after that so well they come in before that into California they

come into Utah after that and they and I'm not totally clear on the timing of

that I just know that I see they've shown to me a lot but I don't have

clarity to know cuz ice it's like I see them coming in and a peaceful manner

first to try to help with some of stuff in California to try to help with things

of Utah but they're really there and they already have their super cells

they're really there to take over and to dominate as to you know put the American

people into subjection of their of their governments and of their militaries so I

see it happening in such a quick manner and they're coming from all sides that I

don't have total clarity as to the timing of you know what comes first if

you will it feels like the foreign troops the sleeper cells and the foreign

troops come in initially and I know they're there you know under the guise

of helping and then it quickly turns to war down in the southern states in

California because the people there have an uprising and they have a conflict

when they start realizing that the Chinese who come in aren't really

friendly it's not friendly when you have a foreign army coming to your door and

telling you that you need to leave and they're going to take over your house so

it quickly turned south and then I see them heading up heading in into the

Boise area after they've already gone in to Portland got in to Seattle some of

those stood on the coastlines then I see them moving inland and they do that as

part of their as I move inland into the United States

and they come because the coast utah is not that far away relatively speaking

from the coastlines that's one of the first states that they can hit they also

know that the LDS Church has encouraged members of their church Mormons to have

food stores for a long time so they know that they can get supplies there they

believe they can go there and get food they also want to try to minimize how

many of those members of the church are able to escape their clutches because

they don't want an uprising that is that as their goal is to keep from having the

LDS Church and members of it have an uprising against them that is something

that's improv aside for generations and members of the LDS Church know that

they've heard about it they've been raised with that as what

they call the elders of Israel which is specifically talking about behalf of

ephraim rising up against those that was the combat on US soil

that's been prophesied by joseph smith and other prophets of the LDS church and

the goal of the foreign army is to keep from having the LDS elders of Israel

rise up to defend the Constitution does that help I just went off and I Wow

Joel do you have any questions wow she definitely answered your question there

Eric I just want that kind of and I say you know one of the things I noticed was

that you know all of these schools are getting all these solar panels and are

basically becoming self-sufficient right you know I could really see you know the

grid going down and if you want power you got to go to a school and there the

school is where they'll you know basically have the ability to control

the population from that right they will actually do loss 7.2 school one of the

first things they'll do is walk down at the school so that people are not able

to get their children they will use that as a way to try to coerce men to join to

join the wrong side to defend the lives will just be amazing how many lies they

tell they will basically your fear tactics they will tell everybody you

know that they have to get the chip in order to get food or to get their kids

back they have to chip the kids so that you can keep track of them because it's

become so dangerous if you don't ship your kids somebody else still

somebody'll put them in a human trafficking ring they will they will use

the chip to monitor people so to locate people to track people they have

tracking devices in those chips just like when you trip your dogs that's what

we're looking at here only a lot of those chips will have tracking devices

articles in and also to identify so if you escaped if you escape or try to

escape you will have been shipped therefore they will know who you are

what your identity is coming with your family they'll use that to try to get

you to confess or giveaway where other people are where for some of the elders

of Israel are where the other denominations are preparing

for militias and other uprisings against reliance or against military personnel

that have conspired with the enemy and their tactics are everything that was

used in the First World War the Second World War and even even if you look at

if you study history and you study the wars that have been on this planet even

going back you know hundreds of generations in the Bible there are war

strategies used in the Bible that will be employed in this war they will they

have perfected their ability to read body language to study human nature be

able to study our ancestors and other people that we know and they will use

all of those tactics as weaponry against us and I'm talking both in the physical

realm and in the supernatural realm Wow and you are brave silikal anywhere

anywhere like that you'll notice they're putting solar panels up there they do

have an ulterior motive for that right there were hospitals for obvious reasons

because they want a bill they'll try to basically get rid of the sick people or

bold people to take over nursing homes and things like that but they will come

in because hospitals have generators and other backup systems for power so that's

one of your original I want to take over hospitals and also hospitals are huge

they can put a lot of people in their belt they'll do it sermons on people I

mean we're talking we're talking some really really rough stuff there's a good

thing and I am and I'm going to get blamed for invoking fear on people that

is not the motor that I have here folks if you are listening to this and you're

feeling fear you should still fear because what they

are planning is wicked wicked wicked but you need to move from a place of fear to

a place of faith and knowledge is power when you have knowledge of something you

can prepare for it if if you are angry when you hear this message I I would beg

of you to take stock of your emotions are you angry at Julie row because I'm

telling you and you think I'm a fear monger or are you angry because you feel

powerless and you feel hopeless and you have these emotions that are coming up

while we're doing this you can be clearing energy and you wouldn't even

know it you you have emotions coming up when you're hearing my voice it's

triggering you when you're hearing about these things especially if it's the

first time you've heard anything like this and you feel powerless and you want

to know you know for instance how the God allow this to happen when we move

from a place of fear to a place of faith you have power you have power in him and

in his word and God in his tender mercies having shown me and thousands of

other people on us on it and I know that because I've had thousands of people

email me telling me that they had dreams and visions or other personal

revelations of their own not even anything to do with my message they have

just come back as a witness to me that I speak the truth and strengthen my

testimony I am NOT the only person who seen this I have my opinon contact with

thousands people now foot contacted me been shown in dream or vision or

ancestors come to them or other forms of Revelation where they you also know this

is about to happen in the United States should we thanks for that witness Julie

should we steer things back to the geography Joel do you remember where we

were the geography yeah yeah we were we were you know she talked about Nevada in

Southern California and now Arizona I'm moving to New Mexico New Mexico New

Mexico is a transition state I see people coming in from Mexico coming in

from the goal coming into Texas and moving going westward up through New

Mexico I look at that as a transitionary state there are some mountainous areas

you can hide there our back roads and state locations we will have some safe

houses in the Mexico but I see that if you were to study where the drug cartels

are going right now pay attention to that you don't know how to find that out

you know I I have been shown it in vision for the most part but there are

places where you can learn about words if you the drug trafficking bill Roddick

human trafficking pay attention to the back roads the

again the forces that come at a de will be most utilizing the main roadways and

if it's not natural disaster the brakes of the roadway is be a foreign foreign

troop or other points of things they'll be blocking off the highways so we'll be

utilizing back roads again sometimes only being able to get there by

horseback or by foot and New Mexico is key because we have people coming from

the East Coast who are going to want access to the West mountainous region

and both foreign troops coming from the east coast that was blocked off by our

troops will also be blocked off cuenta de Madrid when the Madrid earthquake

happens and some of the foreign armies that come in for the East Coast will be

drowned during that inward ocean that's created so people coming up through

Texas going through New Mexico New Mexico going up again southern Utah

into the Monticello area some of the st. George area cleaned up highway 191 look

at highway 54 highway 40 I see people coming from the Kansas City area going

south down through Oklahoma and on over to New Mexico as they go on up to

southern Utah because the Denver area becomes so dangerous in Colorado either

through the tunnels that get blown or or

if you go through the Colorado passes in Vail in those areas and they block those

off they get blown up or the troops have taken over they blow them we blow them

there are a lot of different ways that Colorado is blocked off from the West

making it difficult for passage between the canvas areas and like say Utah or

some of those other locations to get further west or further north

so why 80 going through Wyoming is very difficult as well the headquarters of

the UN and the foreign troops is the Denver Airport that is not just a

conspiracy they are doing things at the airport they are planning for mass mass

executions they're planning for mass overtake they have they have reasons if

you were to look at this poverty of the United States and the location of Denver

you can see exactly why they would want to make that their location for

headquarters when DC is destroyed the president will make his way or at least

try to make his way from Washington DC they do have tunnels they have

faith-based I'll get a bit knowledgeable members of the government

those are real they're not just rumors they do have very dark plans for some of

those to be kidnapped have food supplies as spot supplies and they are plotting

to leave the American people completely unprotected Wow okay

that takes to Colorado and in New Mexico well a little bit of Texas Colorado we

also have Fort Carson man Mountain that's a beautiful military installation

with some of the highest technology and highest military intelligence that also

will be taken over by the dark forces both Fort Carson and the Denver area

trying to block off passage between sports of these days at Fort Carson Port

Carson Colorado between quadratus Springs which is south of Denver there's

a highway there it's not very big and they will block off they'll have

checkpoints there it's passage will be impassable

so absolutely impossible to go from Colorado Springs to Denver or the other

way around the same with Fort Collins there's a reason they have put in all of

those toll booths and those toll booths where ever you speed toll booths in the

United States those will be for the most part most of those will be transferred

into checkpoint locations so that they can stop vehicles

search them abscond people abscond supplies tables big food and other

things so they can sort of benefit so those those toll booths if you were to

think about how many they're putting in just around the Denver Airport in the

Denver area they have grown exponentially in the last five years

all right sorry I get on a roll what can I say you guys you know me ya know it's

that's like so much information coming at me I'm just trying to digest it all

so that's why people and I talk fast they're got to know I'm not making this

stuff up how it does happen how did this happen that she can fail this so quickly

it's kind of thrill you guys I'm not making it up this is not refer you guys

know that you know me you know yeah for sure I don't I kind of get on a

roll I'm guys Eric do you have anything else you want to thank well I keep

thinking about some scriptures as you talk about these people moving around

you know form troops and disasters it creates this movement again of people

and and I'm kind of asking myself who is moving is it the righteous is it the

wicked and I like a number of scriptures come to mind

you know revelation 18:4 says and I heard another voice from heaven saying

come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins and that you

receive not of her plagues and so I'm thinking who's moving it's it's the

righteous people that are leaving the wicked isn't that right that is correct

and leading the wicked areas and the wicked the wickedness around them for

their very life and I think a lot of times when we read these scriptures

we've gotten a real in aerobic habit in our culture of thinking of it as a

spiritual thing you know come out of Babylon

well we say okay don't you know don't shop on Sundays and don't partake of

babylons evils and stuff but I wonder if these ancient prophets and John the

Revelator and meant that as a literal thing come out like leads that is my

understanding because my understanding from what they've told me as I was shown

much of what John was don't much of what Alma in the Book of Mormon and Lamoni

were shown and much about Lehi was shown and even Moses and some of the others I

was shown some of the many things that they were shown

they have communicated with me that this is a literal gathering in a physical

sense and coming out of Babylon and that means we we need to be ready to move if

the spirit tells us to move in some cases it means we need to move you know

into our yard because there's a group of women and children that need our house

and we're a man and we need to put our bed because there are orphans or women

that have come on foot and we need to be able to move and and sleep in a tent in

our front yard in other cases it means we better be ready to move if we want to

be protected spiritually or temporarily speaking and that means we might happen

to throw across the United States and when the SIRT speaks to you listen

whether that's because you you know in the next month that you need to go

somewhere because the Spirit has said hey you need to get a job in Texas

instead of the job that you have in Arizona or if you need to move from

Florida over to Kansas or from Kansas over to Idaho you go when the SIRT tells

you to go that should be no different than what we do in our normal lives but

unfortunately many of us are very rusty on learning how it is to listen to the

spirit and to act on it quickly alright we're going to wrap it up so Eric Thank

You time today I think this has been a good so hopefully it's informative for

people if I talk too fast that's your cue you can go back rewind and listen

again thanks guys for your time we can all you do see you next time great Thank

You Julie thanks

you

What you don't know about the "PRESENT PERFECT" - Duration: 11:08.

Hello everyone, how are you today, this is Marc. In English there are a lot of grammar rules however there are myriad

of exceptions in these series I'm going to talk about those exceptions so

let's start with what you don't know about the present perfect

The present perfect I love this tense why because it

represents our lives I always say to my students present perfect is something

that happened in the past and has an effect in the present and there is a hint

of the future so it represents our lives actually and we usually use this

tense with verbs such as live work study so thing you do repeatedly in your

life yes the first point that I want to talk

about is actually this the past and the present yes this tense has an action

that happened in the past but has an effect in the present yes it refers to

events that are relevant now but happened in the past let's take a look at

my examples: he's moved to another city that's why he can't come to the party

so which action happened first ? he has moved right he's moved to another

city so this happened first and the action that is relevant now is he can't

come to the party yes he can't come to the party that's why

he has moved so it's an action that happened in the past and is relevant now

another example people always share the best advice they've ever received which

action happened first ? they've ever received

so somewhere somewhere in the past they received a message or advice and is relevant

now because I said people always share so present simple, people always share

this is with the present simple and that's why we use the present simple and then

the present perfect because it's an action that happened in the past, but

has an effect in the present this is the first point about the present perfect

now let's take a look at the second point yes the present perfect is used

when reporting the news that's right so let's suppose I'm a journalist and I'm telling you

this is the example: The labor union have decided to go on strike next week - have decided they've

organized they have organized a demonstration to protest against cuts so

these are present perfect and this is a piece of news and I'm giving you and

that's why we use the present perfect now the third point I divided into three

parts why ? because we are talking about the present perfect simple and the present

perfect continuous let's take a look at first point then, present perfect simple

vs. present perfect continuous one present perfect

simple is a finished action present perfect continuous is unfinished, let's take a

look at my examples: she has made in cake this means that is finished that she

made a cake one minute ago, and it's finished, when I use the present perfect is not important

when but it is important the action, now the second one is with the present

perfect continuous, she has been making a cake for the last hour here there is an

indication for the last hour that it continues right so it's not finished she

has been a cake for the last hour, now the second point of the third of the third

point that I want to talk about is the present perfect is used the present

perfect simple and continuous, is used with how long: how long have you studied English for ?

okay and this may be finished we don't know but probably it's finished versus how long

have you been studying English for ? and it still going on right because we said

that the present perfect continuous is for actions that still continue up to now

now the third point I listed here is with since and for - remember that since

and for can also be used with the past simple but generally speaking we use it

with the present perfect - present perfect simple or present perfect continuous like

answering to the question before right how long have you studied English for ?

I've studied English for five years - I used FOR to indicate a period for

five five years - so I don't study English anymore right yes - the second one: how

long have you been studying English for ? I've been studying English since

and this is a precise time, since 2015 so that means that person is still learning

English right or studying English - so FOR for a period

of time and SINCE for specific time - if you want to watch a lesson on these

points or these grammar rules you may click here - the fourth point that I want

to talk about are adjuncts of duration what are they ? they're words like briefly

long temporary overnight etc they indicate duration of time actually so the

two examples: We've left that town forever - so forever here is the adjunct of duration

forever we've left we have left that town forever with we're not saying when we're

saying just forever which is an adjunct of duration another example: I've always

always is the adjunct of duration I've always liked the way you smile.

okay I've always liked and again this is used with a present perfect right ? and

with the adjunct of duration ALWAYS now there is another expression that we use

and we use it in the present perfect: it is it is the first time that is the first

time or this is the first time plus the present perfect so the example here: it's the first time

she's been to Rome. It's the first time she's been to Rome. And here is an indication of

a past action - now I'm going to erase this and I'm going to show you two other points on

the present perfect - right so you're back with the two last points that I want to talk

about today the first one is when we use one yes sometimes WHEN can use with a

present perfect - yes I'm sure you heard that WHEN is used with the Past Simple

generally but there are exceptions we use WHEN with a present perfect for

example let's take a look at my two examples - when you've finished your test

hand it in - so this is the first conditional and here the present perfect has a hint of

the future that's why previously, I said that the present perfect can have a hint of

the future - the second example they'll apply for a job when they've

prepared well the questions asked - They'll apply for a job and here is a

future the second part of the first conditional which is the result when

they've prepared well the questions asked - and in this case we have

they've prepared and there is the hint of the future

so when with the present perfect sometimes - the last point that I want to talk about

is that in American English people hardly use the present perfect they

replace it with the past simple so let's take a look at the examples I've listed

She has worked at that office for a year - in American English they would say she worked at that

office for a year - or Have you ever been to...

Canada ? - Have you ever been to Rome ? in American English - Did you ever go to

Canada ? - Did you ever go to Rome ? this is American English, the third example

I've just washed dishes or I just washed dishes in American English

So that's it for today. Thank you very much for watching if you have any

comments requests or if you want to post your own example of the present perfect

you may do so under this video. If you haven't subscribed to my channel please do so if you want to share the

lesson, please do so - One last thing if you want to watch a lesson on the present perfect or present perfect continuous you may

click here - Have a great day and see you next week !
