Fantasy football 2017/18: How much will Sead Kolasinac cost on Dream Team next season?

Arsenal have made their first signing of the summer transfer window – and thats news that will prick the ears of fantasy football managers.

Sead Kolasinac will join the Gunners on July 1 after his contract with Bundesliga side Schalke runs out at the end of the month. Kolasinac could be a popular pick next season.

The Bosnian international will now compete with Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs for the first-team left-back slot, although Arsenals switch to a 3-4-3 towards the end of last season could see a left-wing back role also in the offing.

Kolasinac might not be a household name amongst English fans yet but his performances in Germany in the last five years caught the attentions of Liverpool and Chelsea as well as Arsenal.

It is also the second time Schalke have lost a key player to a Premier League club for absolutely nothing in the space of 12 months after Joel Matips move to Liverpool last summer.

The Schalke man was one of the best Bundesliga defenders this season. Kolasinac is built like a brick s***house but also a creative force too, with no Bundesliga defender recording more assists than his five last season.

What could this mean for your fantasy football team?. Arsenal players, by virtue of playing more games than a lot of their Premier League counterparts domestically and in Europe, will be popular picks again next season on Dream Team.

Kolasinac is expected to be a regular starter under Arsene Wenger and after a brilliant season in Germany its easy to see why.

Hes got an eye for a goal too. WhoScored, Dream Teams ratings providers, gave the bustling 23-year-old an overall rating of 7. 32 in the Bundesliga.

To put that in some context, the only defenders to out perform him were Hoffenheims Benjamin Hubner and Colognes Frederik Sorensen, while he recorded the same rating as Mats Hummels.

His three goals and five assists last season also lend evidence to the prospect of him operating well as a left-wing back, capable of forging forward and picking out the right pass or shot in the final third.

Given the initial prices of Seamus Coleman (£3m) and Luke Shaw (£2. 5m) this season, wed expect Kolasinac to be valued in the same ballpark next season.

Coleman has a similar attacking endeavour to Kolasinac. When can I sign up?. You can start getting your teams in as early as July 7 2017 – some six weeks before the Premier League season gets underway.

That gives you an awfully long time to monitor the transfer market and choose your team accordingly, with City's new signings likely to be hot on the agenda for Dream Team managers.

The government want to make a lesson on braking compulsory.

That's understandable, but is it really necessary?

For driving instructors, it's been

an absolute basic for the last 28 years.

It should really happen in the very first lesson,

because learner drivers practice

with their parents too,

and they can't brake in an emergency

because they haven't got a brake pedal.

So driving instructors should cover that

with learners in their first lesson.

With a provisional licence in their pocket

and an experienced driver in the passenger seat,

they may soon be able to venture onto the roads at 17.

But it won't be full speed ahead for the driving test.

If you're under 25, you'll need at least one year's driving experience.

The Federal Roads Office

wants to make things safer for young people.

They are most often involved in accidents.

87% of fatal accidents and three quarters of serious injuries

are caused by young people aged between 18 and 24.

It's a question of protecting them.

Giving them more expertise is is vital

before they drive on their own in traffic.

The President of the Zurich Association of Driving Instructors

is sceptical of the planned changes,

particularly the proposed twelve-month period

before youngsters can take their test.

It doesn't guarantee driving practice.

It doesn't depend on the twelve months,

but on the distance they drive,

the hours spent behind the wheel.

There are people who drive an awful lot,

who spend more hours driving in three months

than others do in two years.

Learner driver Jonathan Saffra is a case in point.

He lives in a household that doesn't have a car.

If he wants to practice with his parents, he has to be organized.

Would he have liked to get his provisional licence at 17?

I personally think that's somewhat too young.

At that age, I wouldn't have been mature enough

to drive a car –

But everyone's different.

The driving lesson is over.

Just a couple of points for improvement.

You need to be a bit more observant when you're driving,

particularly at junctions.

And you need to use your rear-view mirrors more.

The government's proposals are now being circulated for consultation.

Under the new rules,

learning to drive would be somewhat cheaper

as only one extra lesson would be needed post-test

rather than the current two.

Fridays episode of the ITV dating show will see a tense love triangle emerge between Tyla, Chris and Olivia, which sends the trio into self-obsession overdrive.

Following Tyla's arrival and blatant interest in Chris, Olivia feels threatened and becomes anxious that her coupling with him is no longer safe.

Speaking on the show, she says: "I have to say that obviously Chris is gorge, he had to tolerate me going on a date with Mike so obviously if you want to take him on a date, take him on a date.

Tyla fancies Chris, and it's annoying because it's the same situation that happened with Mike, except, this affects me. I'm not OK with it.". As the day progressed, Olivia's vitriol towards the Tyla situation was deepening.

Speaking to the Beach Hut, Olivia admitted she was struggling to retain her composure, saying: "Chris likes to have his ego stroked, as do all boys, so he'll probably test the waters for a minute, how I did.

I've got to swallow it because he did when Mike was here. It's annoying because he took it like a real class act, and I'm not such a class act.".

Unsurprisingly, Chris has also voiced his concerns, saying: "I haven't spoken to Tyla once, genuinely have not had a conversation with her and that's because I've had this little puppy following me around all day, and her name's Olivia and she won't let me near her.

Liv is getting ultra defensive and her way of dealing with it is just to abuse me. As the re-coupling loomed, Olivia's anxieties were heighted as she confronted Chris over why he hadn't yet warned Tyla off.

"You don't need to speak to her, at the end of the day if you were serious about me and you, you wouldn't want her to pick you, so you would do something about it, but you haven't," she barked.

With the pressure finally taking its toll, Olivia got teary eyed as she declared to Chris: "I'm over being here. I am over it.".

America's Cup: Will Jimmy Spithill race against Team New Zealand tomorrow? 26 Jun, 2017

Jimmy Spithill is refusing to rule out a change at the helm as Oracle Team USA seeks to save match point and claw their way back from 6-1 down in the Americas Cup match.

Oracles quest for the three-peat is hanging by a thread with the defender needing to win all six remaining races to successfully defend the Cup.

Of course Spithill and his team have faced steeper mountains before, with Oracle famously pulling off the greatest comeback in the events long and storied history at the 34th Cup match in San Francisco, overturning a 8-1 deficit to go on to claim the series 9-8.

Spithills father, Arthur, joked to the Herald thank goodness we only have to win six straight races this time.

A major factor in the 2013 match was a crew change on board Oracle, with Ben Ainslie taking over as tactician from John Kostecki.

Asked whether his place at the helm was under threat from Australian Olympic gold medallist Tom Slingsby, the teams tactician, Spithill responded:.

Anythings on the table. Every single team member in Oracle Team USA will do whatever it will take to help the team to win. Thats my attitude to it, and thats the attitude of the entire team, he said.

If we think the team has a better chance with me on the wheel, clearly Ill be on the wheel. If we think the team has a better chance with me off the wheel - no problem.

The team we think will give our best chance of being out there. Just bumped into Jimmy Spithills lovely dad Arthur, he says thank goodness we only have to win 6 in a row this time #AC35.

Spithill has come under pressure from Peter Burling in the startbox this series, with Oracle trailing at the first mark in all but one of the eight races to date.

He once again made two crucial mistakes in todays pre-starts, misjudging the time and distance to the line in the opening race to allow Team NZ to get a jump on them and power down the first race, while in the second, Burling managed to hook Spithill and force the Oracle boat to slow to just 4 knots.

The Oracle boat also picked up a penalty in the first race for going outside the boundary. After complaining of software problems on board for a OCS penalty yesterday, Spithill put his hand up to claim responsibility for todays issues.

If youre asking for why mistakes happen or someone to point the finger at, you should point it firmly at me, he said. While Oracle sailed poorly today, it seems counterproductive to make a change to the helm at this point.

The US team have made a string of changes to the boat over the past week in an effort to address a speed deficit against Team NZ.

The changes have worked on one level, with the Oracle boat showing more pace around the race course. But those speed gains have come at the expense of stability.

It has put the crew under huge pressure in terms of the manoeuvrability of the boat, and putting someone new at the helm would likely only add to that pressure.

The incident happened on July 24, 2016, during the Portsmouth�s leg of the America�s

Cup.

According to a report by HNGN, Kate Middleton acted like a schoolgirl around Ben.

She was seen toying with her hair and battering her eyelashes while speaking to him.

It is normal for the Duke and Duchess to cheer Ainslie�s Land Rover BAR team, but reports

say that Kate�s actions went beyond cheering.

Apparently, this was not the first time Kate was �seen� flirting with Sir Ben.

In the 2012 summer Olympics in London, rumors about their �spark� first surfaced.

Then they allegedly flirted again in May when they met during one of Ben�s training rides

in his new boat.

So how did the Royal family react?

They immediately said it was fabricated, of course.

But then again, that is what they do.

They did the same thing during Princess Diana�s time, and it proved to be true years after.

Kate Middleton�s situation now is a lot thicker, however, because the man in question

has a wife and child.

If any of these were true, will the Royal family continuously shut down the rumors or

and Swiss hotels. But appearances are deceptive.

This four-star hotel in Melchsee-Frutt

has been in Chinese hands for five years.

Lucerne, famous for its lake-side location.

This is the Hotel Palace - Chinese for two years.

The Chinese multimillionaire, Yunfeng Gao,

owns the two hotels, as well as two others.

His investments are bundled in the First Swiss Hotel Collection.

Michelle Liou lives in Switzerland

and helps Yunfeng Gao with his business.

I came to Switzerland for the first time 10 years ago.

The mountains, the snow and the lakes impressed me very much.

And the hotels are gorgeous. That is why I have invested.

At the moment, Chinese people have a large amount of capital

that they want to invest in Western countries.

Yunfeng Gao is not the only Chinese investor:

the spa hotel Bad Serneus has been Chinese since 2015;

the Hotel Schützen in Lauterbrunnen has been Chinese since 2015,

and Le Mirador above Lake Geneva since 2016.

But Yunfeng Gao is not only investing in Switzerland.

I am currently investing in different countries.

There are different reasons.

In Switzerland it is the beautiful landscape,

but in other countries such as the USA and Australia

I look more at the returns.

The Chinese have been shopping all over the world.

In 2010, they invested $200 million in the hotel market.

In 2016, it was around $9.8 billion.

So in 2016, the Chinese were

the biggest investors worldwide, for the first time.

Yunfeng Gao is currently rebuilding one of his hotels,

the European Court in Engelberg.

The Palace in Lucerne will be totally refurbished next year.

Overall, Yunfeng Gao is investing

an estimated 300 million in his Swiss buildings.

Despite the bonanza, there has been resistance.

Yunfeng Gao wanted to buy into the Grand Casino Lucerne,

but at the beginning of the year, he was cut off from the casino board.

Media reports said people feared

the casino's local roots and its independence were in danger.

Yunfeng Gao knows

that some fear the growing influence of the Chinese.

I can understand this very well,

but it is also a break for Switzerland.

When money is invested, this helps tourism.

Therefore, I am very confident

that our investments are very welcome here.

Yunfeng Gao has not stopped there.

I'm Brian Fitzgerald The Golf Doctor.

And today I'm going to talk to you about how hitting the ball further off the tee will

not improve your score.

So if this is your first time here.

Welcome.

Ah this channel is dedicated to helping you play better golf.

Today's video is about how hitting the ball further from the tee will not improve your

score.

And I know there is a lot of people out there thinking that the only thing stopping them

from hitting ah playing better is distance.

So I am going to prove to you that that's not the case.

So in 1996 The average PGA Tour Player hit the ball 266 yards from the tee.

In 2016.

So 20 years later they averaged 290 yards.

So that's an increase of 24 yards.

So in fact another interesting statistic is that in 1996 there was no player that hit

the ball over 300 yards on average.

In 2016 there were 27 players that averaged greater than 300 yards.

So they are hitting it a lot further.

So that 24 yards increase.

What do you think has happened to score in that period.

You would think 24 yards.

That's 2 maybe even 3 clubs.

So that's hitting a 6 iron or a 9 iron into the same hole.

You would think that would make big difference to the score.

In actual fact scoring average hasn't improved that much.

In 1996 the scoring average was 69.32 strokes per round.

In 2016 it was 69.17.

That's a decrease of .15 of a shot.

So in a 4 round tournament they have only improved by half a shot.

And that is the best players in the world hitting the ball 24 yards further.

So if the best players in the world can't score better from hitting it further.

What chance has the average person got.

You really need to be focusing on the areas that matter.

You have got to hit your first putt a lot closer.

You have got to learn to chip the ball on to the green first of all and not miss it

and the same thing with pitching.

There's a lot of things you can do to that can contribute to your score.

A lot more than distance.

While we are on that.

The average tour player back in 1996 hit 68% of fairways.

Now they only hit 60% of fairways.

So they are hitting 8% less fairways.

Greens in regulation.

They are actually ah not quite as good now.

In 1996 they used to hit 65.85% of greens.

In 2016 it was 65.56% so they are hitting .29 of a percentage point less greens now.

Ah putting has changed by about .1 of a stroke.

There's a lot of things they're not doing as well now as what they were back then.

Yet they are scoring .15 of a shot better.

So how are you going to do this.

Really work on your putting.

Get some distance control drills.

Practice those on a regular basis.

Get that first putt closer to the hole.

That is going to improve your score.

Start chipping with a hybrid.

If you are really having a difficulty with chipping.

Get rid of the wedges.

Chip with a hybrid.

It's really easy.

And I do have a video coming out on that soon.

So stay tuned for that.

With your wedges get the ball on the green.

Don't be worried about just trying to get it close.

Just get it on the green.

And if you can do all of those things you are certainly going to go a long way improving

your score.

And it has nothing to do with distance.
