The military of the United States

is very big, and very powerful.

But where do we find all those soldiers?

Well, current military recruitment rules

allow the military to deliberately target

underage kids

with both marketing

and recruitment activities

often while we are at school.

Surely, we can do better than this.

Can't we?

The 7 sticky note walls we use to build software - Duration: 5:29.

Making software isn't easy. You'd think you do it all behind a computer.

But it's also important to show what the team is doing.

That's why we have plenty of visualization tools.

I'll explain how we get things done

The calendar

We use it to keep an overview of major milestones

All important moments in the project.

It's very visual so we always know what the important next steps are.

These are the user stories

It are explanations of what you can do in the app

This makes it easy for us to see the main components.

These sections depict the different priorities.

What we really need, what is nice-to-have and what won't do during this project.

With these cards we could easily prioritize features in a workshop with the client.

Our vocabulary

There many words we use to describe core concepts of the app might become messy.

That's why we decided upon a specific vocabulary.

It's handy for the programmers and the rest of the team to share this lingo.

These are all the responsibilities of the team members

Who'll do what? Who's responsible for which tasks?

It makes it easy to divide the work.

This is the art gallery.

All team members (5) conceive together what what we'll build.

Everyone – programmers, designers, comms people, are invested in the end result.

There are four steps to get to this result.

An important component is this timer. A timeTimer.

We timebox everything.

It starts with a brainstorm where we spend 20 minutes thinking about the problem.

On paper. In silence.

Followed by 20 minutes of sketching solutions seperately.

Followed by half an hour to present a final solution.

After that everyone votes in silence with dot stickers on the ideas that seem most promising.

Based on all these results a designer starts fleshing out a user interface.

These are all our screens.

Of all the steps in the app we've sketched a little solution.

This is very handy in meetings with our client.

We can have a workshop where we discuss the broad strokes of the app.

It prevents us from evaluating look and feel and to stay focussed on functionality.

For example, yesterday we did a user test that taught us a lot about our screens.

This wall makes it easy to keep the overview and to collaboratively highlight our learnings via sticky notes.

There are also indications of priority

Right now we're focussing to finish these four screens by the end of the day.

This is our todo wall.

It contains our daily todo list.

It's simple: what will we do? What are we doing? What blocks us?

And what is finished?

It makes it easy to see who's doing what.

Jean is working on the history page.

Michiel is fixing the routing.

It's important that we have a daily goal.

Today we want to achieve this, and hence there shouldn't be any unrelated todo's.

This is our kanban board.

This is our retrospective wall.

At the end of each week we evaluate how we collaborate.

This isn't about the project. It's about the team.

It's more about emotions.

What did you like?

What bothered you?

Everyone gets a sticky note and adds their feedback.

We'll take these pro's and con's an turn them into action.

We decide which activities we'll stop, start, and continue.

It's a nice way to end the week.

And to start the next week feeling energized, and aware of how we collaborate.

That's it.

What Can We Invest With 10$ of Dividend Pay! - Duration: 7:03.

hello everyone and thanks for tuning into the financial investor channel my

name is Brent and today we're going to be looking at what can I purchase for

under $10 they only had $10 and that's a pretty good starting point for many

investors they don't have very much maybe you're a teenager through your

training you know you turned 18 19 you have $10 a month that you can invest

what can we invest in with $10 now you can now my advice is to do a screening

process and kind of get a good look at the market as far as what can you get

for $10 so let's just start there so I'm gonna head over to fin viscom this is

where I do all my screenings now this isn't whatever you get from the

screening process is not what you're going to be buying you're going to be

screening it even further this is just going to give you a nice and it's going

to give you a list you're gonna look at its chart you're then gonna look it up

as far as financial data statistics forward growth what kind of stuff they

have upcoming in the future will it be around in 5-10 years you know you're

going to do a further investigation on that specific stock now if you're a

short term short term short term buyer and you know day trader swing trader etc

you know it wouldn't be bad for just a few months just to kind of dip your toes

in and let's go ahead and begin screening our stocks of course our price

is going to be under $10 we want now you can choose to have a

dividend I'm going to choose over 4% that knock down our stocks 160 I'm going

to go ahead and switch at the US now we're at 117

I'm gonna go p/e ratio under 25 BPS for my earnings per share I'm gonna go ahead

and go positive my long-term depth I'm gonna go under 1 payout ratio under 70%

I'm going to have sales growth for the past 5 years I'm gonna have some

positive sales growth now we're down to six stocks now we could continue

knocking those six stocks out but I think anything five or six is a good

time to start screening and already we can see that we can afford five of these

we can't afford glad glads are pretty good closed-end it's a fund like kind of

it's a financial so you can see how there's a technology a service and a

couple financials in here that we can actually buy for underneath ten dollars

so I'm going to go ahead and switch it over to charts

and take a look what is on an upwards trend right now PIR appear when imports

is on a downward with two supports both supports don't look very good at all

evil evolving systems actually looks really nice for $4.95 I could actually

buy two shares of that stock so I'm gonna go ahead and keep that one in mind

we have t.i cc's Capital Corp it's on a downward trend it only has one support

and it's kind of going downwards as long as its trendline FS Investment

Corporation again supports down and trendline is down

gain is on an upwards trend and so is the support looks like the support is

going up as well so is glad now we can't afford glad but we can afford gain and

we can afford evil evil evil level so I'm gonna be taking a look here we can

see you know next thing I would do from investigating the two charts that both

of these stocks look like they have some good growth and potential growth for the

future so I would go just do a quick five-year look up so evil stock and

let's take a look at their five-year now their five-year it looks like it's

actually gone down 17% it doesn't give me a what their company's about but I

can do like about they have like a summary here for evolving systems and I

could take a look at that to get some further information the other stock here

was which one is it here gain spike a look up gain stock

and this one had some upwards growth of 24% so about 5% per year which isn't bad

it's been a pretty good market for 25% that's about 5% back every year the

average for the S&P 500 is 7% but this one offers it's actually an 8 percent

dividend so a pretty good dividend if you wanted to we could go into dividend

comm and type in the ticker symbol just get additional information as far as how

long it's been paying dividend growth so it does have a very high payout ratio I

had put in 70 percent or under I've I believe under 70 percent I'm not sure

why this one pops up under 70 but it is a dang it it is a diversified investment

so I could see that kind of being that way p/e ratio is pretty low again this

is just a screening process so of the two if I had to make a choice between

what was the other one here I can't think of evil and cocaine I would

probably go with gain it's a safer investment over five years there is

growth even if it dropped down it has been paying dividends for quite a while

we can see that on their dividend payout history they've been paying dividends

for since you know prior to 2060 and they've been around they did decrease

their dividend in 2009 it looks like after that last recession but they've

continued to pay dividends after that so they did have a special dividend payout

too so they do payout points six cents for every share but of course they're

nine dollars and forty-five cents so you buy one share you get payback six cents

that's in the yield of eight point thirteen percent so not not too bad

not too great but that is it for the screening process I want to thank

everyone for watching up until this point if you liked the video hit that

like button and please remember to subscribe for future financial videos if

you have any questions go ahead and leave them in the comments I will always

reply thanks for tuning in and I will see you next time

bye

Senator Warren: We must defend and improve the ACA - Duration: 3:13.

We have to defend the Affordable Care Act as it it. We cannot let the Republicans cut it--

we can't let them destroy the health exchanges. We cannot let them take an axe

to Medicaid. I want to say -- on Medicaid, the Medicaid expansion

was part of the Affordable Care Act. This business of going after Medicaid overall?

They're going a lot deeper and in a different direction than just trying to

deal with the Affordable Care Act. They're trying to change fundamentally

what we've said as a nation -- we're willing to put in some money to provide protection

for all of us. Because we never know whose grandparent is going to need nursing home care,

who's going to get hit by a bus and have a disability and need some extra help,

who's going to have a baby in the family that is going to need extra care.

And we all pitch in together so that there's some basic support. So I think the

first thing we have to do is we have to defend -- we have got to fight them back on the

idea that they just can just break the whole system. That's number one, and that's why we're in this.

Number two: I think there are a lot of places where we can just make this a whole lot better in a short period of time.

So for example, we need to cut the cost of prescription drugs. There are multiple ways to do that.

Bernie Sanders has got a bill that I'm part of that says,

let's be able to import our drugs from Canada. There are a lot of drugs that we're paying ten times as much

And here's the deal: it would both bring down out-of-pocket costs for

everybody in this room who has a prescription drug

but it also would help bring down the cost of insurance and bring down the cost to the government,

Which means more money to spend in other areas where they're needed

So that's part two. There are changes we have known from the beginning

that we needed to make in the Affordable Care Act.

We couldn't get a single Republican to sit down at the table to negotiate with us.

And the result was we just had to leave it locked. Because the fear was, open the

door and they're gonna come in and try to repeal it outright. But part 3 where we

have got to be headed is we need to talk about how we do the

expansion of Medicare. We're familiar with Medicare, we know how Medicare works,

Medicare has worked for people over 65 now for two generations and it made a huge difference in the lives

of Americans all across this country. It is a good model for us to work from,

and we've got a lot of options on how we can do it, how we can do the buy-in

how we can change the age ranges. But make the program out there that's going to work

for people across this country. That's the direction we've got to move.

OPINION: Ekitigate and NA 38: Have we forgotten so soon? By Idoko Ainoko - Duration: 8:16.

OPINION: Ekitigate and NA 38: Have we forgotten so soon? By Idoko Ainoko

Editors note: In this piece, Idoko Ainoko, a public affairs commentator writes about 38 senior military officers that were forcefully retired by the Nigerian Army.

Ainoko also analyses the circumstances for which the officers were retired and their participation in partisan politics in the past Ekiti state election.

A story is making the rounds about a petition to Acting President Professor Yemi Osinbajo on behalf of the 38 senior military officers that were compulsorily retired in June of last year having be found to be corrupt, partisan or ethnic in the performance of their duty.

The petition written on behalf of the disgraced officers by one barrister Abdul Muhammed produced headlines like How Buratai, Dan Alli and Olonisakin Destroyed the Lives of 38 Senior Army Officers.

To say the least, the petition is an insult on the intellect of every Nigerian that believes in the country making progress economically and democratically for it collectively painted us all as persons whose memory do not go beyond the span of 12 months.

The document is a slight on the integrity of Professor Osinbajo by insinuating that he lacks the capacity to personally and independently decipher events and bereft of capacity to recall whose import he was aware of at the time of their making.

Barrister Abdul Muhammd must have his assumption for wasting productive time in drafting the incoherent petition and apparently chief among them is misplaced belief that Nigerians have forgotten the knife edge uncertainty that the actions of some of these officers placed the country upon by their unprofessional act.

If the lawyer was genuinely deluded, the citizens have the painful burden of asking a pertinent question: Have We Forgotten So Soon?.

How can we forget that some of these officers that are today being portrayed as saints took it upon themselves to descend into the arena of politics? They were this close to polarizing the military along political lines.

So nauseous were their conducts that that they were on the verge of foisting their own brand of power through the barrels of gun on the people by actively conniving to sabotage the ballot as the only recognized means for the people to express their desire and choice of leaders.

Does this lawyer seriously think the disgraceful act engaged in by someone like Brigadier General Aliyu Momoh, who sat in a hotel room to pervert the will of Ekiti people and bestow the disaster called Ayo Fayose is a trait that should be allowed to persist in Nigerias revered military?.

If the Brigadier was punished for maliciously and criminally abusing troops under his command and corrupting them to tarnish that which they were sworn to protect in the small enclave that is Ekiti state, why should those that repeat the same bad behaviour on a national scale not be dealt with on a more intense scale?.

Perhaps, the expectation was that they would be left in place after threatening Nigerias democracy so that they would be in place to strike a final damaging blow at a time of their choosing.

There is no point wasting too much time detailing the damage done by those that were shown the way out for dipping their hands in the public till in acts that ultimately led to the death of some troops.

But in a country where even convicted thieves and corruption suspects on trial are feted as the credible opposition one is barely surprise that the disgraced officers are the latest on the list of those that are now considered victims that must be immediately canonized, washed with media bleach and presented as saintly front-runners in the next general elections.

It is best we do not raise the issue of those that were ethnic champions among the retired officers.

It is to the credit of such failures that we owe the mutation of ethnic agitation that has become a singsong in the land.

If elite military men sank into the opprobrium of seeing their nation as less than their ethnic stock when matters are reckoned then there is no basis to expect nationalism from a barely educated and definitely unenlightened artisan or petty trader.

It is the realization of such banality that has made the crimes of the former officers in question deserving of the punishment meted out and more.

It will therefore appear the group of 38 misled their lawyer because being a learned fellow he must know the implication of trying to pull a fast one on Nigerians and Professor Osinbajo.

Or is it that the lawyer, going by the address of his chambers in the domain of the former president that was defeated in the polls, was intent on mischief for its face value?.

This could be another in the series of the spoilers that have been lined up to paint the current government in bad light.

It is apparent in the new desperate bid to taint the Minister of Defense, Mr Mansur Dan Ali, Chief of Defense Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin and the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.

General Tukur Yusufu Buratai, when all the allegations raised in the so called petition has been disposed of, having been found to be without merit.

What could then be the objective of presenting the re-hash of the same none-issue to the Acting President?.

Could it be that they think Nigeria has suddenly become tolerant of corruption or that there is a new approval making political soldiers the toast of the town? Whatever drove them and their wig for hire lawyer to submit that petition is irresponsible.

More irresponsible however is their decision to leak their petition to the media, a copy that bears no mark of acknowledgment to prove the Acting Presidents Office received it anyway.

The leakage nonetheless betrays the true intent to blackmail Professor Osinbajo into reversing decisions taken to sanitize one of the important institutions in the country, the military.

What is reassuring is that the Acting President is by now wise to the antics of this gang and will not be taken in for a minute.

He must note that these people are the ones planting stories in the media to discredit the military.

It is their new stock in trade and is proof that throwing them out of the Armed Forces was a timely decision that saved the country.

Had these political soldiers that have stashed away slush funds as war chest with their ethnic backing not been exposed, God knows they would have overthrown the democratically elected government by now.

The Acting President must therefore properly read this petition for what it is, an attempt to test the waters and see how easily he could be shaken, a prelude to the attempt they will make to take power from him.

We have not forgotten so soon how toxic these characters can be.

One of the best places I've traveled to while being out on the road is Florida.

Florida is just beautiful in itself, but to have just that beauty and the open road.

Florida is just a beautiful state to drive in in a big truck.

My most favorite stretch of road is across Interstate 90 across Idaho in the top neck

of Idaho, it's 72 miles across there and it's absolutely beautiful.

Las Vegas.

The Grand Canyon.

Places when I was a kid I never even thought about going to.

You know, being able to see the whole country just about and going across Canada is just

amazing to me.

Heading west out of Vegas goes into Arizona-Utah border.

There's a canyon there and that's pretty picturesque.

And then there's I-70 in Colorado.

And then probably Montana.

There's too many of them.

I mean, I've been through the edge of Yellowstone with a truck.

I've been to Arches National Park.

The Lava Beds in Idaho.

I've seen a million places that I thought I'd never get to see.

And I've enjoyed it from coast to coast.

My home.

I thank God every time I cross the North Carolina line because it's just so beautiful there.

But yes, I've seen a lot of beauty out there.

I mean, the United States is gorgeous.

It really is.

But I just love it when I go home because it's just so beautiful there.

I got to go across the Annapolis Bridge and it was a pristine, clear day and that bridge

was so white looking.

And I got to be up there where the ducks fly, and you look and all you see is just land

and ocean, or you know, the river.

I sat there and I said, "They paid me to do this!"

"We can" by the administrators. They know that staff and administrators work together to support students to be successful.

"PSD can" by the board. Board members support PSD and know that our school can thrive and be a better school.

ALERT, ALERT!!~ Something We've Never Witnessed Before in Recorded History - Rob Kirby 2017 - Duration: 3:29.

The establishment, globalist, elite, 1%, 0.01% whatever you wish to call them – Seem to

be on a one-way ride straight into the abyss:

From Rory Hall, The Daily Coin:

The global financial systems and global economies all seem to be moving in the same direction

at the same time – down the tubes.

Of course if you listen to the mainstream media they will be happy to tell you, over

and over, about how awesome everything is and how well you are doing.

Just keep your eyes on the stock market and you too will know they are being sincere and

have your best interest at heart.

Anyone with a brain knows nothing could be further from the truth.

Rob Kirby, Kirby Analytics, who, in my opinion, has one of the best minds around sat down

to discuss the state of our world.

His work is second to none as he crunches the numbers, interacts with some of the wealthiest

people to be found and Rob also interacts with governments.

Rob has a full spectrum view of what is happening in our financial and economic world.

It seemed like a good time to have Rob on to discuss the Exchange Stabilization Fund

(ESF) since this off the balance sheet fund was making it's way back into the picture.

I recently covered two parts of a five part video series that documents the history of

the ESF and exactly how evil is born and becomes part of our everyday society.

The ESF provides the funding that allows evil to be delivered to your doorstep.

I hope you don't believe me and do some serious research into this U.S. Treasury fund

that is accountable to no one other than the Secretary of the Treasury.

That's right, these funds are doled out at the sole discretion of the Secretary Treasurer

and does not answer to Congress, the President or any other agency or governing body.

This may be a good place to begin your research – and by the way, Snoops is not considered

research.

Part 1 – History of the ESF and Part 2 – The Birth of the IMF and World Bank.

Rob has done extensive research on this fund and would be another good starting point – click

here for Rob's website.

The goal was to have Rob provide us with an in-depth review of the history of the ESF

and how it has infiltrated our world.

What came about was so much more.

Mr. Kirby had some other ideas and wanted to get these ideas on the table.

We are all much better for him bringing his ideas to the table.

The globalist seem to be running short of time, according Mr. Kirby, as he believes

the algorithms, that run the financial system, may be turned off in the not too distant future.

When I say not too distant future I mean before the end of summer.

The globalist, as noted in an interview conducted by SGT, have been gathering in survival supplies

for close to a year.

You can listen to a alternative energy store owner spell it out – here.

Not only do we cover how the globalist are running the economies into the ground, but

we cover a wide variety of other topics as well.

Gold, Trump, the Presidential election and Brexit to give you an idea of the depth of

this fifty minute interview.

We encourage you to listen all the way through as there is not a minute that is not power

packed with Rob's analysis and opinions.

Motivation for Musicians #1 - WE'RE ALL EQUAL #FindYourMotive - Duration: 1:16.

'Losing my fingertips was devastating... But it made me invent a new way of playing.' (Tony Iommi)

We are all equal.

Most of us have two hands, ten fingers, and a brain working.

And it doesn't matter how big or small your limbs are

– you DO have them, that's it!

You can hold a spoon, you've learned that like billions on the Earth.

You've learned how to walk and run, and these are much more complex things than playing an instrument.

You don't remember it, but you spent several years of your life

observing that other people could stand on their legs, and trying to replicate that.

Falling, getting up, again and again

– and you did it after all! How?

Because you did not know that you could not learn.

Still have excuses?

Tell it to the armless guy who's learned how to play guitar with his legs.

We Are All Probably Pretending 😅 - Duration: 4:28.

I...haven't exactly been honest with you.

Or, rather, in my attempt to encourage you to appreciate the journey that is your existence

on this spinning ball of rock and water, and I think like, lava is in the middle or something,

I forgot to explain how.

Despite feeling slow or lost, how do you enjoy the process?

So here it goes, this will be quick.

The answer is... [clears throat]

You fake it.

- I'm coming. I'm gonna sprint! - Hallease: Okay!

[breathes heavily]

- How's that? Was that...was it good?

- Hallease: That was pretty slow.

[breathes heavily] - Do again? Do it again?

- Hallease: Yeah, do it again.

[breathes heavily] I'm not going anywhere, it's just practice.

I'm sure this is bad form, the whole criss-cross, but I can't afford a trainer right now.

[chuckles]

Sometimes I am pretending.

I am pretending that I actually believe I'm competent at something.

That I'm not embarrassed, nervous.

I am pretending that I don't mind how slow or lost I feel.

In other words, I am dancing any damn way.

And the thing is, the more you pretend, the more you realize you didn't die.

That spinning ball of rock and water, and like magnetic forcefield that's holding it

all together or something, didn't stop spinning.

So do it again.

A little more extra this time.

[laughs]

Oooh! Stretch it. And stretch it.

This is probably gonna pull something.

Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!

Feeling good, feeling great, feeling like I'm an athlete.

- Get the leg extension.

- Hallease: Yeah.

- Get the leg extension.

- Hallease: Yeah, yeah.

Now I'm not saying everything will click right away for you.

I'm not even saying you'll get better because girl I mean the way my lungs are set

up clearly this is not my forte.

But if you were ever wondering what possessed me to walk into a public park, ask my friend

to fly a drone around me as I put my hands on knees and dance while uniformed cyclists

zoomed past and couples walked their dogs and kinda just stood there watching me share this

message with you.

It's because I'm pretending.

I am pretending that I actually believe what I'm saying all the time.

That I'm not embarrassed, nervous.

I am pretending that I don't mind how slow I am or how lost I feel.

In other words, I am dancing any damn way.

Today's book recommendation is Astrophysics for People In A Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson.

That "spinning ball of rock and water" bit was inspired by this book.

The subject matter is not entertaining per se, but his voice is so soothing, and astrophysics

is really good at making you feel like you're a miracle but also like you're nothing,

which is somehow very invigorating.

I would never have read this in print form, so shout out to that Audible credit though.

Shout out to Audible for helping me make today's video.

They have a massive selection of audio books.

You can even, uh, listen and read while you run.

I'm not there yet--

[coughs and gags]

I need water.

- Is it hot? I'm hot.

- Hallease: It's actually a pleasant day, actually. - I'm hot.

But visit Audible.com/evelyn to get your own audio book free with a 30 day trial membership.

And the book is yours to keep even if you don't stick with Audible, 'cause they not

triflin' and they help me hire my friends to make dope videos.

Shout out to Hallease for filming today's video including the drone footage.

Hope you enjoyed this video.

Thank you for the sports bra recommendations in the comments section of part 1 - I really

appreciate it.

That's what family is all about, you know what I'm saying, I support you through life,

and you support my breasteses.

In the comments below, tell me what excites you the most about your future.

You don't have to feel ready yet, but fake it like you are, sis.

And I will see you on the Internet somewhere.

Bye!
