Meghan Markle is reportedly set to join boyfriend Prince Harry at the reception after Pippa

Middleton's upcoming wedding.

It was previously reported that the Suits actress would not be attending the 20 May

nuptials because of Pippa and fiance James Matthews' "no ring, no bring" policy, meaning

that as she and Harry weren't engaged, she would be unable to go to the wedding.

However, it has now been reported that while Meghan won't be joining Harry at the actual

wedding ceremony, to be held at St. Mark�s church in Englefield, England, she will be

on his arm for the reception later in the evening, according to People.com.

Hello! magazine were the first to report that Meghan was planning to attend the wedding

in some capacity, after requesting a week off from shooting her hit U.S. TV show.

The claims come after Harry missed the royal Easter tradition of the royal family attending

a service at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel alongside Queen Elizabeth II, instead

flying to Toronto, Canada, to spend the holiday with Meghan.

His decision to miss the annual tradition has also fuelled claims the pair are planning

to get engaged, with Meghan's recent moves such as shutting down her lifestyle website

and quitting her ambassadorial role for a skintight leather clothing range suggesting

she is attempting to ensure her life is more aligned with the royals.

Pippa's wedding is sure to be a massive draw for photographers worldwide, especially after

the recent confirmation that her sister Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge's, two children,

Prince George and Princess Charlotte, are in the bridal party.

A representative for Catherine and husband Prince William's London residence, Kensington

Palace, confirmed three-year-old George will serve as a page boy, while little Charlotte,

who turns two in May, will be a bridesmaid.

Will Tech Get A Boost on China Strength and Europe Weakness? - Duration: 2:02.

Today is Monday, July the 17th.

This is your Morning NewsWire.

Markets are slightly higher this morning.

S&P Futures are up about 1 to 2 points.

A couple of big things happened overnight on the economic front.

First we had in China.

We had GDP data come out better than expected, saying they should easily hit their growth

target for the year.

Also, we had industrial production data come out better than expected.

Again, good from an economic growth point globally.

Also, you had CPI data come out in Europe this morning.

That's inflation data.

It was weaker than expected, although I would note on a core basis, that was slightly better

than expected and the ECB pays much more attention to the core data then they do to the overall data.

More importantly though, we had that weak inflation data out of Europe on top of the

weak inflation data that we had in the US on Friday.

That has yields marked down this morning.

That's probably gonna weigh on financials.

It's probably gonna be a positive for tech because again, remember with technology, low

borrowing costs means big time growth.

If you're interested in technology, I recommend you take a look at the work that Porter and

his team have done in Venture Technology.

Also, I would refer you back to a trade idea the NewsWire Team put out there on Friday.

Going forward, we're going to be paying very close attention to the policy decisions out

of the ECB and the BOJ later this week.

I believe they're both on Thursday.

Welcome to Platts Market Movers, your three-minute look at what the week ahead

holds for the Asian commodity markets. In this week's highlights: China to release

data for June, the dry bulk market set to gain strength, and OPEC to consider

including two more countries in its production cut agreement. But the big

news of the week is: China is due to release a slew of data for June across a

range of commodities this week. It is also due to release its closely watched

GDP data later on Monday. Its oil data for June could show a further drop in

domestic crude output while its steel data is expected to show production hit

a record high above 70 million tons in the month. In non-ferrous metals, China's

Xinjiang aluminium smelter is expected to announce output cuts this week.

Anticipation of the cut has already boosted prices and confirmation could

provide further support. In shipping, sentiment is set to be further boosted

this week by summer coal demand in China with most Chinese-flagged vessels engaged

in moving domestic coal to demand centers, rates for other vessels in the

Pacific are set to rise. Demand to move grain cargoes in the Atlantic is also

is awaiting the results of key sell tenders from Indonesia's Tangguh and Bontang

projects this week. They're offering a total of nine cargoes for delivery

later in the year. These prices will provide an indication of fundamentals

for the coming winter. In the Philippines the government has received proposals

from China, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, and Russia to co-develop an LNG hub

which it targets launching by 2018. In petchems, the Asian monoethylene glycol

market is expected to pick up in the second half of the year amid healthy

downstream demand in China. In agriculture, wheat

traders will be watching to see if more Black Sea milling wheat will head to

Southeast Asia this week. This comes after the Australian premier white wheat

price surged to a fresh record high last week. And finally in oil, OPEC's technical

advisory committee will meet on Saturday ahead of a for ministerial meeting next

Monday. Traders will be closely watching both events for clues on whether OPEC

plans to lift the exemptions on Libya and Nigeria from its production cut

agreement. So our big question this week is: will OPEC cap Libya and Nigeria's

Disappointed spectators who came from across the country to see the Royals enter Pippa

Middleton's wedding were surprised they didn't see Prince Harry's love interest enter the

church.

Prince Harry entered the ceremony, at which Pippa Middleton married James Matthews, with

his brother the Duke of Cambridge.

Ms Markle was nowhere to be seen.

There are reports the actress will attend the wedding reception, to be held in a state-of-the-art

glass marquee in the Middletons' garden in Berkshire, later on today.

The actress was last seen exiting a spa in London, where it was assumed she was getting

ready for the big party later on.

Earlier Pippa looked radiant when she stepped from an open-topped vintage Jaguar wearing

a bespoke Giles Deacon wedding gown, crafted to create the impression of being seamless.

Beside her was beaming father Michael who took his youngest daughter's hand and walked

her into St Mark's church, in Englefield, Berkshire, where mother Carole met them at

the entrance.

Liverpool hope Emre Can will snub Juventus transfer for new contract

Liverpool are reportedly hopeful that they can keep hold of midfielder Emre Can this summer despite transfer interest from Juventus and their own pursuit of Naby Keita.

The Germany international has been a key player for the Reds since joining from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2014, showing his potential in a number of positions in defence and midfield.

The 23-year-old is now heading into the final year of his contract at Anfield and is attracting admiring glances from Italian giants Juventus, though Liverpool believe they can keep him. Can, 23, has impressed in his time at Liverpool.

According to the Daily Mail, Can is edging closer to agreeing a new deal with the club as they seemingly make him a key part of their future plans despite Jurgen Klopp's desire to strengthen in his position.

Keita has been strongly linked with Liverpool in a potential club-record deal of around £65million or more, and has shown tremendous potential during his time at RB Leipzig.

The Guinea international would surely not move to Liverpool for that amount only to sit on the bench, so it remains to be seen if Can would start as many games as before.

Can won the Confederations Cup with Germany this summer. Still, Klopp clearly rates the versatile youngster highly and wants him to commit his future to the Merseysiders this summer.

Can is currently on holiday but is thought to be prepared to sign a new contract when he returns for pre-season.

If legendary investor Marc Faber is right, A Perfect Storm Is Brewing For Gold and Silver…

Economist Marc Faber, who is known in many circles as Doctor Doom for his oft gloomy

forecasts, says that stock markets are overvalued, but stops short of saying that a crash is

imminent.

Though valuations are high and sentiment is dangerously optimistic, Faber argues in a

recent interview with Fox Business that there are huge money flows still making their way

into U.S. equities.

And over the next three to six months Faber says much of that liquidity from foreign and

domestic investors may start moving into precious metals and precious metals stocks:

[There won't be a sell off] in the near future… but if you look at the valuation

of stock they're high.

If you look at the valuation of the US dollar it is high…

If you look at the money flows in the last few weeks a lot of money has flown into US

equities, both from domestic investors and international investors… as a contrarian

this is not a particular good sign.

However, there is a lot of liquidity in the world… the liquidity will move into precious

metals and precious metals stocks… so I would be long gold shares, silver shares,

platinum and the underlying physical…

I also think that sentiment is much too optimistic about stocks and far too pessimistic about

bonds…

Faber may be on to something, as demand for gold via ETF's is surging at levels not

seen since the 2011 run up in precious metals prices, suggesting that for those on the sidelines

now may be a good time to buy gold and related assets.

As the elite meet in Davos to discuss banning cash, investors around the world are flocking

to safe havens.

Nowhere has this been more visible than in China, where so much money moved into BitCoin

that it broke through $1000 stopping just shy of all-time highs.

The sudden and precipitous rise of the digital currency is an indicator of what may happen

with precious metals should they become the next go-to safe havens for panicked investors.

With the strength of the US dollar today and President Trump recently warning that a strong

dollar is not good for trade, it is quite possible that a policy shift with the new

administration could weaken the dollar, adding further upward pressure on the gold price

going forward.

If Faber is right, there is a perfect storm brewing for gold and silver.
