Advance Bravely - EVERYTHING WILL SAY GOODBYE 720p OST - Duration: 2:06.
Translation belongs to @ Thịnh Thế
Fresh red blood
burns up like cutting edge
that goes across the light of the countless stars in the dark night
the beginning of the story
is like a lonely dance
it's unstoppable yet the more you try to hide it the more obvious it becomes
the wind is roaring
rusting my soul
please take me away
break the deadly silence
sometimes as quiet as the water
sometimes as wild as the wind
whistling away the water like years
when the sky starts to cry
the deep loneliness
it's like brilliant fireworks by the store
when the sky starts to cry
the deep loneliness
it's like brilliant fireworks by the store
UNSTOPPABLE

Silver prices will have rocketed past $500/oz. By September 1st, 2017 - Duration: 11:13.
If the information we have received regarding the next few months is correct, gold and silver
prices are about to explode more than we ever even imagined… but it won't matter.
No amount of stacking or prepping can prepare one for the judgments about to hit America
and the world.
Judgement is coming, and time is no more.
Here's the timeline of events that we believe will lead to WW 3, and all the judgement foretold
in the Book of Revelation:
July 2017: Syria will attack Israel
Late July 2017: Israel will retaliate with nuclear weapons, and will nuke Damascus, Syria;
fulfilling the oracle of Damascus in Isaiah 17:
Behold, Damascus will cease to be a city and will become a heap of ruins.
The fortress will disappear from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus; and the remnant
of Syria will be like the glory of the children of Israel, declares the Lord of hosts.
4 And in that day the glory of Jacob will be brought low, and the fat of his flesh will
grow lean.
7 In that day man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will look on the Holy One of
Israel.
8 He will not look to the altars, the work of his hands, and he will not look on what
his own fingers have made, either the Asherim or the altars of incense.
9 In that day their strong cities will be like the deserted places of the wooded heights
and the hilltops, which they deserted because of the children of Israel, and there will
be desolation.
10 For you have forgotten the God of your salvation and have not remembered the Rock
of your refuge
9th of Av (August 1st, 2017): Russia (the people of Edom/Esau) retaliates against Israel,
capturing Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
August 21st, 2017: In an effort to prevent WW3 and bring peace, the United States will
broker a peace treaty between Russia, the Palestinians, and Israel, and DIVIDE THE CITY
OF JERUSALEM INTO TWO.
For when they say, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them
as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
– 1 Thessalonians 5:3
This is what he showed me: behold, the Lord was standing beside a wall built with a plumb
line, with a plumb line in his hand.
8 And the Lord said to me, "Amos, what do you see?"
And I said, "A plumb line."
Then the Lord said,"Behold, I am setting a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel;
I will never again pass by them; 9 the high places of Isaac shall be made desolate, and
the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste, and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam
with the sword."
–Amos 7:7-9
August 21st, 2017: The same day Jerusalem is divided by the US brokered Peace Treaty,
the Great American Solar Eclipse cuts America in half from Oregon to South Carolina – a
sign of imminent judgement on the land of Babylon/America by the Creator.
Just as America cut in half the city of Jerusalem, so shall the land of America be cut in half.
August 22nd, 2017: Judgement begins on Babylon/America
End of August into September: A massive meteor will land in the Atlantic Ocean near Puerto
Rico, causing a Mega 300 ft + Tsunami that will wipe out Puerto Rico, and the US Coast
from Miami to NYC.
The wave will reach the Appalachian Mountains and will submerge Florida.
A 13.0 earthquake will rip the United States of America in half.
US Financial System implodes.
Grid shuts down entirely.
September 1st, 2017: Silver prices will have rocketed past $500/oz.
Ezekiel 7:19-21 will be fulfilled:
They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing.
Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord.
They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it.
For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity.
20 His beautiful ornament they used for pride, and they made their abominable images and
their detestable things of it.
Therefore I make it an unclean thing to them.
21 And I will give it into the hands of foreigners for prey, and to the wicked of the earth for
spoil, and they shall profane it.
Approximately September 23rd, 2017: The Great Sign of Revelation 12 will occur in the Heavens.
And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under
her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.
2 She was pregnant and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth.
3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten
horns, and on his heads seven diadems.
4 His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth.
And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she
bore her child he might devour it.
5 She gave birth to a man child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron,
but her child was caught up to God and to his throne,6 and the woman fled into the wilderness,
where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.
The Great Sign is NOT the rapture of the Church (who will be refined in the tribulation by
fire) – it signifies the birth of the Man Child of Isaiah 66, and the Mighty Army of
Joel 2 – the Bride of Christ – the 144,000 who will assist in bringing in the Great Harvest
of souls during the Tribulation.
Revelation 18:2 is fulfilled.
While America is on its knees, Russia unleashes her nuclear arsenal on America.
The US will be destroyed in 1 hour.
"Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!
She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt
for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.
-Revelation 18:2
Passover 2018: The Great Exodus Begins.
The woman/church/Yahweh's people/ will flee into the wilderness and be nourished and taught
the Creator's ways by the Father Himself for 1,260 days (3.5 years).
No amount of stacking or prepping can prepare one for the judgments about to hit America
and the world.
There will be nowhere to hide from the wrath of the Lion of Judah as He roars.
The ONLY place of refuge will be in the Almighty Himself:
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his
faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the
pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near
you.
8 You will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.
-Psalms 91:1-8
The only hope is in repenting – NOW.
Once the judgments begin, it will be too late to repent.
Once the Creator's Hand closed the door of Noah's Ark and the rains began to fall,
700,000 gathered around Noah's Ark, crying out that THEY WERE READY TO REPENT AND RETURN
to Yahweh's ways.
The Ark Door remained shut however as the determined period of repentance had ended.
We are but a few weeks from the Ark Door slamming shut once again.
Don't seek to save your flesh, focus on your eternal soul.
In war, the soldiers who are most effective are the ones who have already consigned themselves
to death – they can then function without the paralysis of fear for their life/flesh.
Remember Esau's mistake.
Will you trade your eternal inheritance for a morsel of bread and a bowl of soup?
For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake
will find it.
-Matt 16:25
We suspect tens of millions of Christians will panic when they suddenly find themselves
in the midst of the Great Tribulation, as false doctrine had led them to believe they
would be safely watching the events from glory.
The time to repent is NOW.
If you have never put your trust in Yahshua (Jesus Christ) as your personal savior, today
is the day to call on His name, repent & be baptized and turn from your sin, and be saved.
If you are a part of Israel (the church), are you REALLY SURE God's law was done away
with at the cross?
Your righteousness is righteous forever, and your law is truth.
Long have I known from your laws that you have founded them FOREVER.
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous laws endures FOREVER.
-Psalms 119:160
As His judgments begin to fall, ask yourself,
If Yahweh (the I AM, the one who claims to be THE SAME yesterday, today, and forever)
REALLY doesn't care any more whether His people keep the Sabbath, eat unclean food,
tattoo themselves like the heathen, worship religious images, destroy their DNA with vaccines
& genetically modified food, practice fornication, homosexuality, and adultery, THEN WHY ARE
HIS JUDGMENTS BEING POURED OUT ON HIS PEOPLE?
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject
you from being a priest to me.
And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
-Hosea 4:6
Only a few tiny grains of sand remain in the hourglass.
Watch therefore, and Pray always that ye may be found worthy to escape these things that
shall come to pass, and to stand before the son of man.
Please put your trust in Yahweh – the one true Creator, for He loves you and sent His
Son Yahshua (Jesus) to die for your sins.
He wants you to know Him and His ways.
He thought of you personally on the day He died for and took the penalty for all of our
sins – death.
For whosoever shall call up on the name of Yahweh shall be saved.
-Joel 2:32

How Prince Philip's Retirement Will Mark A Major Change For Kate And William? - Duration: 2:35.
Its well known that Kate Middleton is a keen amateur photographer.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who became a lifetime honourary member of the Royal Photographic
Society earlier this year, has notably broken with royal tradition by releasing her own
pictures of her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte as official photos: she
was behind the lens for the adorable photo of Charlotte that was published to mark her
second birthday, and took pictures of George on his first day at nursery school back.
According to an expert in baby photography, a niche genre, admittedly, but we are rolling
with it.
Kates decision to step behind the camera and take charge of these important images
isnt just down to her enthusiasm with her hobby, or because as their mother, she can
capture candid moments of George and Charlotte in a way that a more formal shoot could not.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Gina Jones from Bumpkins, The Baby Shows advisors in baby
photography, the Duchess is taking a more modern and accessible approach
to royalty, and is demonstrating a resourcefulness with money by opting out of employing an expensive
high-profile photographer.
It shows how modern Kate and William are by being more accessible and having a hands
on approach, Gina said.
It also shows that they are resourceful with money as you often see Kate in high street
fashion and sometimes repeating outfits, and so by taking her own photos this again shows
how she is savvy with money, she explained, adding that the couple like to exercise
control of the images of them as a family. tell us your thoughts in comments below.

How will Auckland Change For The Cup? - Duration: 5:45.
How will Auckland Change For The Cup?
Our dreams came true on that great sound 14,000 kilometres away five days ago.
The Moet has been emptied, the Louis Vuitton bags hurled, the winners grins captured for posterity and, come Thursday, the Americas Cup and the team who won it will be welcomed home with a celebration on land and sea.
A helluva lot of planning. The 36th Americas Cup is almost certain to take place in Auckland in 2021 - the citys nickname might best grow to be the City of Sails and Opportunities.
A giant red sock sculpture, a park extending into the harbour, finally farewelling the Ports of Auckland and opening those red gates, transport, transport and more, better transport, are all being dreamed up.
What the extent of those opportunities will be is open to debate, but for many, thoughts have already turned to what the future holds for the Cup and the city that will host it.
Is the next four years about making sure Auckland can simply host the Cup, or is it about ensuring the city can also capitalise on the opportunities it brings - immediate and long-term.
Will a better city come from the triumph in Bermuda?. Mitchell and Stout Architects director Julie Stout certainly hopes so. The Americas Cup is a chance to get things happening, she says.
And by things the chairwoman of Urban Auckland, a lobby group for the protection of the citys waterfront and broader environment, doesnt necessarily mean the giant red sock included on an artists impression put together by her own practice for the potential redevelopment of the central Viaduct basin.
The sock - a nod to the charmed red socks worn by the late Sir Peter Blake when Team New Zealand first wrested the Auld Mug from the United States 22 years ago - is just a bit of fun.
But switching car parks for footpaths, green spaces and real trees growing in the ground on the eastern side of the pedestrian drawbridge is what can really make a difference. [Its about saying] look, this is a people place here.
.
Urban Auckland has made no secret of its desire for the Ports of Auckland to disappear from the central city, from their imported cars rolling out on to Captain Cook Wharf to the rows of shipping containers lining the easternmost borders of the port at Judges Bay - and nothing has changed, Stout says.
The future of the Auckland Council-owned port, which occupies 77 hectares of prime waterfront land, has been a pressure point between those who see it as a barrier to the citys connection with its harbour and the Port Future Study, which found moving it to a new super port in Manukau Harbour or the Firth of Thames would come with a price tag of up to $5.
However, the study also found a new site was needed, and Auckland mayor Phil Goff has pledged to address the ports long-term future this term.
Stout knows the Cup will turn up the heat up on the long-term future of the citys waterfront, and thats a good thing.
Over the next 50 to 100 years these events are going to happen more and more. where are the next pieces of the puzzle going to be filled in?. Its not like we havent been here before.
Large-scale events such as the Rugby World Cup in 2011 have proven a catalyst and opportunity to create big infrastructure projects, such as the $240m upgrade of Eden Park. .
The Whitbread round the world yacht race in the early 90s sparked the then-Auckland Harbour Boards first development of the Viaduct, which until then was dominated by fishing boats rather than fun-seekers.
By late in the decade the board had sold the area to a group of private investors, Viaduct Harbour Holdings, prompting the most dramatic developments - apartments, hotels, bars and restaurants - and altering the whole face of the area.
In the Viaduct, where crowds gathered en masse during the 2000 and 2003 Cup defences and again during the Rugby World Cup, celebrity chef Simon Gault is opening a new restaurant, Giraffe, and Ponsonbys Mea Culpa is planning a rooftop cocktail bar.
The Wynyard Quarter area is already undergoing massive changes as part of a billion-dollar urban regeneration project that already includes the new ASB Waterfront Theatre, the $200m Park Hyatt, under construction, and hundreds of new apartments due to be completed next year.
Build Media creative director Gareth Ross dreams of Aucklanders looking out to the Waitemata Harbour from a Captain Cook Wharf free of imported cars.
The finger wharf could either host cup syndicates or complement the existing social hubs at neighbouring Queens Wharf, home of Shed 10 and The Cloud, or at the Viaduct, 500m to the west.
Weve got to use this an opportunity to improve our waterfront area. Yes, we have The Cloud rippling down the wharf, but it feels temporary, he says.
It doesnt feel like a destination. It would be lovely to see lawn or grass down there and steps down to the water. That should be where we put our focus.
It should be the jewel of our city, but its not quite there.

Arsenal ace Kieran Gibbs wanted by Watford boss Marco Silva but will not meet £15m valuation - Duration: 3:24.
Arsenal ace Kieran Gibbs wanted by Watford boss Marco Silva but will not meet £15m valuation
WATFORD are stepping up efforts to sign Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs. New Hornets boss Marco Silva is on the hunt for a new left back and has earmarked the England international as one his main summer targets.
Kieran Gibbs is being chased by Watford.
Watford manager Marco Silva is looking to reshape the squad at Vicarage Road. But the Mirror report Watford have baulked at the £15 million valuation Arsenal have slapped on Gibbs who has just a year left on his £60,000-a-week contract.
The defender has risen through the ranks at the Emirates under Arsene Wenger and was dubbed the long-term successor to Ashley Cole when he moved to Chelsea.
Now his future at the Emirates is uncertain following the signing of Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer from Schalke.
But with no agreement in sight, Gibbs could be seen as surplus to requirements if the Gunners hierarchy want to generate cash to help fund new recruits this summer.
The 27-year-old featured in just 11 Premier League games last term in another frustrating season for the defender who has a big decision to make about his long-term future.
Stoke and Brighton are monitoring the situation, but Arsenal chiefs and the defender may have to lower their financial demands to conclude a deal.
Sead Kolasinac has joined Arsenal on a free transfer from Schalke.
Arsene Wenger could sell fringe players to generate funds. Gibbs is another player who falls into the category of needing to play regular football next season to have any chance of going to the World Cup in Russia next year.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Oliver Giroud will also want to play more football to seal their places on the plane next summer. Arsenal signing Sead Kolasinac is pleased to be joining the Premier league team.
Silva has also been tracking his former Hull left-back Andrew Robertson, but faces competition from Liverpool for the Scottish International.
Hornets striker Stefano Okaka could be heading out of Vicarage Road with Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua prepared to offer a lucrative deal to move to the Far East.

Free will or Free won't?? Do we really have Freewill or is it an illusion? - Duration: 4:51.
Imagine you are at you friend's place, helping him out in a project.
when you both take a break, he asks you, whether you would like tea or coffee.
and lets say you like both, but chose coffee instead.
Choosing coffee, was no doubtedly your free-will.
or, is it.
Well, what Is freewill?
free-will is the ability to act and make decisions, without any external constraints or inflence.
your choice of coffee might seem your free-will at first, but its not.
Our brain is made-up of approximately 100 billion neurons that are involved in the decision
making process.
we live in a world of cause and effect.
and there are alot of causes that have an effect on every decision that we make.
in-fact, these decisions can be a group of subconscious thoughts just popping-up in our
brain.
like, i like the consistancy of coffee more than tea.
their coffee tastes really good! drinking coffee makes me more active! all these subconscious
thoughts become tiny-subconscious decisions which either increase the probability of one
option, or decrease it.
all working together, resulting in the action that we call, a conscious decision.
even if you would have to choose letter A, B, or C.
your brain would take action based on your previous history, information, beliefs and
pattern related to the letters.
In 1983, benjamin libet performed an experiment involving a volunteer.
the volunteer had to randomly make conscious decision, like flicking their wrist, all according
to their free-will.
while all of this was going on, the activity of their motor cortex was being recorded by
an EEG machine.
motor cortex is that part of our brain, that is involved in control and execution of voluntary
actions.
no-one was expecting what happened next.
to everyone's surprise, the motor cortex became active, hundreds of miliseconds before the
conscious decision was made.
as if, the conscious decision was destined to happen.
hence, questioning the existence of free-will.. ok, but what if you flip a coin to decide
the cup of tea or coffee.
now what?
totally random, right? think it again.
coin-flips appear random only due to our lack of knowledge and data.
if we could know every elementary information, data, conditions and their exact values , forces
and properties for a particular coin flip, we could predict the result, even before the
outcome is revealed! infact, this is not so far fetched idea.
there already are coin-flipping robots that can flip coins and predict the outcomes that
are 100 percent accurate every time.
all of these facts & also the laws of physics say, the universe is deterministic.
but then there is the world of quantum mechanics, where you could never know where an electron
in a probability wave is.
or predict when a radioactive decay will take place.
the outcomes of this world can never be determined beforehand.
the only thing that can be determined, is their probability of being one outcome or
the other.
so, if everything is deterministic, and free-will is an illusion, then is punishing the criminals
really a valid act? because it would mean, they're punished for their crimes, even though
the action they did was destined to happen.
well.
all the crimes done by every criminal is completely deterministic, if given all the necessary
factors influencing the same.
but in-fact, punishing the guilty is necessary because if not done, it would influence others
to do more crimes.
hence increasing the criminal activity.
but, if free-will really exists, it leaves us with many unanswered questions.
like, is commiting suicide, a person's free-will? or : was creating our universe, god's free-will?
furthermore, you might also have some questions.
let's discuss them in the comments below.
And guys don't forget to subscribe, as there are more interesting episodes coming soon.

Mesut Ozil renews executive box at Arsenal in clear sign he will pen new deal at the Emirates
MESUT OZIL has given a clear indication that he is staying with Arsenal by renewing his executive box at the Emirates. Ozil's advisers have given the impression that the forward will be in demand this summer.
Mesut Ozil has had his executive box at the Emirates extended.
Mesut Ozil is currently on holiday and yet to sign a new deal with Arsenal. But they are waiting for some serious interest in the Gunners star, 28.
Although contract talks are ongoing with the German, the fact his hospitality package has been renewed heavily hints he is going nowhere.
5million signing and Alexis Sanchez are about to enter the final year of their deals and have been offered approaching £300,000 a week to extend their stay.
Yet they are still stalling while their agents weigh up all options, with Manchester City and Bayern Munich linked with bids for striker Sanchez, 28.
Boss Arsene Wenger is eager to get on with his summer spending and is already back at work after a two-week holiday.
He would like his major signings in place before the team flies to Australia in 17 days for their pre-season tour.
Arsene Wenger is confident Mesut Ozil will sign a new deal with Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have stalled on signing new deals with Arsenal. Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil speeds across open water in speedboat at 130mph.
But his plans are being hampered by the situation with Sanchez and Ozil. Ex-Team Sky legal expert Huss Fahmy has been appointed by Arsenal to speed up talks which have dragged on for more than a year.
Fahmy has already contacted the star duo's advisers since beginning his new job at the start of the month.
Mesut Ozil extending his executive box is a sign he could be staying at Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez is wanted by both Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Alexis Sanchez will not sort out his future until after the Confederations Cup final with Chile. Mesut Ozil celebrates winning the FA Cup on the Wembley pitch.
But the club still have no idea when they will get a definitive answer from Sanchez and Ozil about their future plans.
If the Gunners do manage to tie down the attacking duo they may be forced to offload other players to ensure they meet short-term cost control regulations.
Teams in the English top-flight are allowed to increase their wage budget by £7million each year. And the Gunners are in danger of going over that if they give their two stars a bumper pay day.

Wojnarowski Redick Will Not Return to the LA Clippers - Duration: 2:02.
Wojnarowski: Redick Will Not Return to the LA Clippers
Rumors have been circulating for the past few weeks that the three point specialist would be leaving the LA lippers in free agency.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that J.J. Redick "will not return to the Clippers" and is in talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, and the Brooklyn Nets.
Wojnarowski also added that the Sixers are planning on offering the shooting guard a one-year contract worth around $20 million, right around the price Redick was asking for.
Minnesota is also planning to offer Redick a three to four-year deal but the money amount has yet to be revealed.
Clippers fans have been bracing for the loss of another one of the members of LA's "core four" since it was reported weeks ago that the Clippers would not be meeting Redick's asking price.
This marks the second Clippers starter lost in just a few days after the team traded point guard Chris Paul to the Rockets.

How will Auckland change for the Cup? Part 2
When the challengers - with their vast crews and armies of supporters - roll into town there will certainly be money to be made.
Leading businessman Sir Ralph Norris told the Herald this week the economic bonanza for New Zealand could top $1b and New Zealand Marine Industry Association chief executive Peter Busfield said $500m would be injected into their industry.
The last time New Zealand hosted the Cup, in 2003, more than $500m was pumped back into the economy. Degree Gastrobar owner John Hellebrekers remembers both the 2000 and 2003 events.
Business was humming, with increased demand from two years out as syndicate staff and families began arriving.
Hes looking forward to a repeat, not only in the increased patronage, but also in the joy the event brought - especially if Team New Zealand repeats its successful 2000 defence.
It was just this sea of people partying through the bars on the wharf. It was the first time Id ever seen us, as a nation, be so emotional in how we partied..
Down the road on Quay St, a blood red wrought iron fence stands in the way of the dreams of Graham Wall Real Estate owner Graham Wall.
He just wants to feel the grass under his feet as he looks out into the Waitemata Harbour.
He and his family, including son Ollie, asked architect friend Luke Leuschke for a concept drawing to be produced showing a park which could be sited on Queens or Captain Cook wharf - and for the park, which would also include steps to the water, to be named for Team New Zealands principal Matteo DeNora.
. This is more about taking away than adding. It would be more stunning than any structure could ever be and at next to no cost.
The park could be used by all Aucklanders, all the time and have viewing screens and be a fan zone for the Cup itself..
The image being beamed across the world would be our amazing blue harbour, beautiful green grass, trees and our spectacular city, Ollie Wall says. This image represents our country exactly the way it should be.
Transurban director Nick Rae, an urban designer, also wants a waterfront public viewing area and has proposed Ports of Auckland share a portion of their land in the Mechanics Bay area, assuming racing takes place within sight.
Grandstands could be built - either on land or on floating pontoons. It needs to be as open to as many people as possible. I think theres a real opportunity to bring the energy and excitement. to make the city buzz..
Like most of those spoken to, Rae isnt sure where the syndicate compounds should be based. Much will depend on the type of boats used at the next Cup.
Team New Zealand boss Grant Dalton has hinted that foiling boats are likely to be retained, but they could become mono-hulls instead of catamarans.
The Herald revealed last week a proposal to dust off plans for a 60-80m, $80m to $100m Halsey Wharf extension west of the Viaduct Harbour to accommodate the compounds.
Before 2013s heartbreak in San Francisco, the wharf extension and the northern end of Wynyard Quarter were shaping up as the preferred waterfront locations.
But difficulties with ending leases and moving the large storage tanks on the headland is seen as a huge barrier. Theres also the question of connecting various sites.
Rae suggests light rail along the waterfront and beyond to St Heliers, and Boffa Miskell partner and landscape architect Rachel de Lambert also has light rail on her mind - but she wants it to go all the way to the airport.
Its not a pie in the sky idea, its just the pie isnt quite ready to leave the oven yet, according to the Government.
Transport Minister Simon Bridges confirmed in March that Auckland will get light rail between the CBD and the airport, but not for 30 years.
De Lambert isnt deterred - she also wants the City Rail Link, due for completion in 2023/24, open before the Cup is defended - and she has a downtown tram in her targets as well.
A bridge capable of carrying trams should replace the pedestrian bridge at the central Viaduct Basin, with charter boats moved to another area so the drawbridge does not need to be raised as frequently.
So far, so fantastic. Waterfront parks where you can feel the grass between your toes and the sea breeze on your face. Trams between downtown and Wynyard Quarter, and light rail to the airport. A completed City Rail Link!.
But is any of this actually possible?. This the reality part.
Property developer Nigel McKenna, the man behind the master plan for Viaduct Harbour Holdings in the 90s, sounds a warning for local and central Government to butt out of decisions about hospitality and entertainment.
Private enterprise should build the bases and existing restaurants and bar owners do the entertaining.
Councils priorities should remain at a macro level - providing infrastructure, accelerating housing development and, above all, improving transport. we dont need grand plans, white elephants or lavish commitments that incense the rate-paying public..
Goff, who this week said the private sector should pay much of the cost for hosting the Cup, says he is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.
Other pressures, in particular housing and transport, have to be addressed before any event can be a success.
The port could not be moved in less than a decade, a completed City Rail Link by 2021 is a big ask, and light rail to the airport in the same timeframe is really tough.
But with the CBD and airport areas the fastest growing in the city, Goff is keeping an open mind about achieving light rail within four years. [Its an] outside chance. Lets have a look at what we can do..
. He loves the idea of trams, but says they must have a viable business case before any tracks are laid.
Queens Wharf is also open for development, with The Cloud coming to the end of its life. Goff has also turned his focus to Wynyard Quarter and its potential to become a great headland park.
He understands it could cost $20m to pay out existing leases, and tenants may need to be accommodated elsewhere.
[The leases] are a big problem, but because of the potential of that area, its something we should explore. if we could bring that area into council control earlier, that would be fantastic. If you dont look at it, you never know.
With New Zealand hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation meeting in 2021, it iscertainly time for the city to shine, he says. I think whats going to happen in 2021 does present us with the opportunity to be transformational for our city.
Auckland gets big things done when it has something solid to work towards, de Lambert says. Nows the time to dream.
Dreams are as free as the wind that blew Aotearoa over the finish line on Tuesday. But Auckland councillor Chris Darby, chairman of the councils planning committee, can do more than dream. He can help make them happen.
Top of his wish list is light rail from Wynyard Quarter to at least the southern end of Dominion Rd by 2021. Our sailors have inspired him.
Lets be as imaginative and inventive as they have shown is possible. Its time for Auckland to fly on its foils too..
