Android P is the ninth major version of the software coming to users and is currently

in beta testing ahead of a full debut.

The latest iteration of the Google software is set to bring a number of notable changes

that will radically change how Android users navigate their devices.

With smartphones radically dismissing bezels in favour of all-screen designs a slew of

Android have taken on controversial notches.

Android P will offer support for the design compromise in addition to bringing new gesture-based

controls.

Google is also aware how important battery is to users, so Android P features a new Adaptive

Battery mode that promises to radically improve screen-on time for smartphone owners.

But it appears the new operating system could be coming sooner than anyone thought.

Notable leaker Evan Blass recently tweeted a picture of a calendar with a subtle "P"

marked on August 20, hinting this could be the day the newest software will land.

Mr Blass typically has a good track record with claims of this nature.

If true, it will surely not be long before an official announcement from Google takes

place.

Android P is not expected to be the full name of the new software.

It is presumed Google will carry on its theme of naming the operating system iterations

after confectionary products.

Rumours have been swirling since the release of the initial Android P beta that it will

be fully named Pistachio.

At the start of July Google rolled out the third version of the Android P beta.

The tech giant insisted the new version was "very close" to the final product users will

get their hands on.

5 Expensive Mistakes To Avoid On Google Ads (AdWords) Campaigns - Duration: 3:16.

Five mistakes, you're probably making on Google Ads

Odds are, you are wasting advertising dollars on AdWords and don't even know it

Over the years Google Ads has become extremely complex

and takes a very experienced eye to know what to look for to maximize your return on investment

Here are five areas where your business may be unknowingly losing money on Google and how to correct them

1. No geo-targeting exclusions. You may be only targeting your ads to the United States.

But did you know that Google will also show your ads to consumers in Singapore?

By default, Google will show your ads to people searching for or viewing pages about your targeted area

Even if they are not physically in the location that you're targeting.

To fix this, in the location settings. You will need to manually exclude the areas you do not want your ads to show.

This will prevent anyone in Nigeria for example from clicking your ad. Trust me it will happen.

2. Overpaying for clicks on mobile

People and mobile and tablet devices will interact with you differently than they would if they were on a desktop.

To fix it, optimize your bids for devices on an ad group level to be sure you are maximizing your ROI.

3. Neglecting negative keywords

Clicks from a relevant traffic and eat away at your campaign budget hurting ROI.

To fix it, add negative keywords and review search query reports to ensure you're excluding irrelevant clicks.

4. Ignoring ad extensions

Google offers a lot of features and their ads but there is a lot of confusion around them.

They are proven to lift your click-through rates and quality scores,

however, so it's worth the time to figure it out ad site link extensions to your campaigns.

These are six to ten bonus links you get to include with your ad copy

Call extensions are great for generating phone calls and location extensions should be used to drive more local traffic.

Callout ad extensions and structured snippets are also extensions that can easily be taken advantage of.

5. Poor use of landing pages

Unless you purposely optimized and tested your landing pages. You are leaving money on the table

Landing pages need to be short and attention-getting the strong offer and clear call to action.

Hhiring a conversion rate optimisation professional to design PPC landing pages is worth the investment because the returns are exponential.

Think is the long term effect

If you receive just a 10 percent lift in your online sales.

Your goal on your landing page must match that of the visitor. If you do that with a clear next step for them to take

you will be miles ahead of your competitors

Cut out the extra noise, make it easy and clear what you want the visitor to do, and you will see better results

PPC is not for the weary. It is a specialty all on its own. It can produce amazing results for your sales efforts, however,

and the better you can understand the beast that is Google Ads, the better returns you will get an increasingly competitive ad marketplace.

How to zoom in Chrome easily - Google Chrome zoom in and out - Duration: 1:29.

Hello everybody it's Lurgs here. Welcome to my Channel and today the Chrome web

browser how to zoom in and out. So put your glasses away and use this Top Tip.

So let's get cracking, so I'm in the Chrome web browser here I'm just gonna

go to a well known YouTube channel and what I'm going to do is actually edit

one of my videos and try and add a new language. Now because there's so many

languages here the Chrome web browser won't actually show me the 'Add new language'

feature because the screen is not small enough. So on your keyboard press the

[Ctrl] and the [-] key, [Ctrl] and the [-] key. And this actually zooms

out as you can see that's made the drop-down list smaller so now I can

select the 'Add new language' and then you can just click on Reset if you want to

that sets it back to 100% and likewise if I want to zoom in I can just press

the [Ctrl] and the [+] button so we can just go zooming in and in and in so

if your eyesight's not very good you can do that instead of putting on your glasses!

If you would like to subscribe to my channel please press this button

down here and if you'd like to select any other videos around here that would be

really cool. I really do appreciate you visiting my channel Guys and Girls, I really

do mean that. Check you later.

Meet System Administrators at Google - Duration: 2:08.

My name is Steve Brito. My name is Mark Bernhardt. My name is Chris, I'm a systems

administrator. A systems administrator is responsible for the maintenance and

upkeep of the many servers that run here at Google. We make sure that Google keeps

running behind the scenes. It's collecting logs, it's talking with users

when appropriate, it's looking at what's happening on the fleet from a

holistic standpoint not necessarily just one particular system, and then once

you've identified the root cause we propose different solutions to resolve

it, and then finally we implement that as a team. We interact with a lot of people,

it's not all heads down work, you're not just gonna be sitting in

front of a computer all day, you're really going to be getting in there and

doing coding, and we have a really good opportunity to drive a lot of the things

that are ongoing within the IT world or sysadmin world. Here at Google there's a

lot of training opportunities available and you can get a wide variety of

trainings from different perspectives of people that work at different parts of

the company and I've learned a lot of skills that even externally would be

really valuable to any employer. On our team we like to have fun. One of the

things that our manager really likes to stress is have a good work-life balance.

We have this thing called mandatory fun where we all go out every every other

week or every month to even just get lunch together and really build that

bond within the team. The culture on my team is a really positive and

encouraging culture. We spend a lot of time focusing on growing as a team, as

building the team cohesion, so that we can be vulnerable with each other so we

can give each other honest and candid feedback. We can propose ideas and

solutions that that go really far outside of the norm but because we know

of the type of people that were working with and we know what we're capable of

we have faith that we can push the envelope.

Really we can innovate in ways that other companies just can't.

Google Assistant and the What's On My Screen Feature - Duration: 3:54.

Today I want to show you a really interesting feature. It's called What's

On My Screen and it's only for Android devices and the Google Assistant. Now of

course you can use the wake word (Hey Google) and then you're going to tap "What's on my

screen?" Once you do that you're going to be able to get info about people, movies,

music, restaurants, and more, and you're going to need to turn screen search on.

I'll show you how to do that in your tablet in a moment. Now of course, the

question right away is going to be...can I do this on an iPhone or an iOS device?

The answer is basically, no you can't right now. This is only for Android

users. Now I'm going to show you. I'm just going to go ahead and search for

Avengers 3 on my Android tablet. My Android tablet is 7.0, but based on the

release date of this feature I would expect this to work all the way back to

Android 6.0. I'm doubting 5.0 is going to work at this point. So on my screen I

obviously have a search screen up for Avengers Infinity War and I'm going to

cast and then I'm going to bring up my Google Assistant. Now just to show you

here I'm going to actually physically ask my Google Assistant "What's on my

screen" so that I get a little help indication here. Once I do that, you can

see that the Google Assistant actually brings up the opportunity to go to the

settings, and what I'll say is that it's the right setting screen that you need to

go to in order to adjust this. So I'm just going to click on settings right here,

right now, so I can show you this. Read text on screen is what needs to be

turned on. It might look slightly different for your Android tablet but

this is essentially what it should look like. Now that I've checked that, I'm

actually going to go ahead and ask the Google Assistant what's on my screen.

If you don't see that "what's on my screen" button, then you can't actually

use this feature on the application or the screen that you're on, so just keep

that in mind, if it's not showing up no you can't use it. I just tapped on

what's on my screen, and up comes a number of different results here, and

what I was blown away by is the different services and the different

opportunities that I had to go ahead and click on. So you can see Google, YouTube,

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, images, the cast of the movie itself, so it knew this

was all about a movie, and then I can share these results if I'd like. You

can see the IMDB score is there, and they've also shown age of Ultron on the

page as well, with some less links because obviously lots of that social

media has gone away since age of Ultron is the older movie. From here you can

click out and go see different links. So I clicked on cast, and I've gone to, of

course, Scarlett Johansson. Who else would I go see? Now I'm on her images and I

say what's on my screen, and again I get a number of links for Scarlett Johansson.

I will show you when I clicked on the Twitter link, I ended up on a fan

page for some reason. This is the one that Google has linked to, but ultimately

you're getting a number of different resources just by asking your Google

Assistant What's On MyScreen, and I really like this feature, so I wanted to show

you guys how to actually use it on your Android tablet.

How to get your Music on the Internet (iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon Music, etc.) - Duration: 4:25.

Thank you to Distrokid for sponsoring

This video Distrokid is an online music distribution service that allows you to get your songs on major platforms such as iTunes Spotify

And much more for as little as $19.99 a year if you click the link in the description

You can get 7 percent off your first year subscription if you sign up

I made a tutorial in the past that explained how to start producing your first song and even later went on to make a separate video

That gave suggestions on how to finish it

So let's pretend those were the most helpful videos a beginner music producer could have ever hoped to watch

You're welcome

but now what? you can upload your finished rack to certain streaming sites such as

SoundCloud or to certain online stores such as Bandcamp, but in order to get your music on major platforms

I mean the big boys you either have to be picked up by a record label who can distribute your music for you which

Can be incredibly difficult once you're starting off or do it yourself the problem here is that platform such as iTunes Spotify

Etc. Don't just accept music from any old average Joe with a guitar or a strained voice and a burning passion to make it big

They have quality guidelines and filters to prevent a swarm of

nonsensical garbage so the way around this online music distribution

Services, these sites are capable of distributing your music to hundreds of platforms and will do all the work and labor required to set everything

up properly

I have personally dabbled with three separate distributors in the past to get my music out there and I wasn't really

Fully satisfied with any of them until I started using Distrokid

So let's learn about all the cool things you can do with Distrokid for starters

You can send unlimited songs to hundreds of platforms for 20 bucks a year

Yeah, unlimited as in like infinite

That's a lot of song uploads or you can upgrade to the musician plus account and pay

$35.99 a year to release unlimited songs plus features such as customizable release date pre-order date iTunes pricing

Analytics among other things. This is the tier that I have and I love it

I don't want to name the previous distributors I've used but until I switch to distro kid. I paid 20 dollars per song

Per year, I released six songs under that distributor. And now you're telling me that as long as I released two songs a year

I'm already saving money

Why didn't I find this out sooner?

There is a third tier that while it's more so geared for record labels and less for individuals

I figured I'd mention as well because I think it's a neat option say you're interested in starting your own

Label and you've picked up artists and want to release their music

This would be the best bet for you. Once you have your subscription. The act of uploading music is extremely intuitive

I especially enjoy how they confirmed your artist name. I had music under the name InspirAspir on Spotify

for example before I

Started the upload of my newest single when I entered my artist name and asked if I wanted to add to that

Catalog or if I was just an entirely separate artist just a neat little feature. I'd never seen before

I liked it

Once you've released your song Distrokid

provides analytics for you to track how well they performed including the number of streams on certain

Platforms or how many sales you've made the beautiful thing here you receive

100% of the generated revenue now keep in mind the platform which you earned the income from may take their own cut say for every

$0.99 song sold on iTunes Apple will take I believe 29 cents leaving you with 70

But then that remainder is then sent straight to you Distrokid

does not take of that cut another thing I thought was really awesome was that Distrokid has a built-in feature

Called teams that allows you to share your revenue with whoever you'd like say you

Collaborated with someone on a song you can send an agreed-upon percentage of the revenue straight to them automatically rather than one person

Receiving all the cut and splitting that up into five even amounts sending it out

Individually and Bob isn't reliable and doesn't get it out on time

District it does all that work for you. And that's quite honestly the easiest way to get your music on major platforms again

Click the link in the description below to get seven percent off your first year if you sign up

Also consider listening to my newest single celestial that I released using Distrokid

You can check that out by clicking the card in the top right corner in case you missed it

I also recently launched a gaming channel called pretty much games. You can head over there by clicking the card on the left

Also, I got some new merch lined up, which you can find by scrolling down below with this video. Thank you for watching

Talal Maddah Google Doodle - Duration: 1:40.

Today The Search Engine Google is showing a Doodle for Talal Maddah.

In a few countries Google celebrate Talal Maddah's 78th Birthday.

Talal Maddah was born on 5th August 1940.

He was a Saudi musician and composer.

He was named Maddah after his mother's family.

His fans called him "The Earth's Voice, and he is also known as "The Golden Throat".

He had a substantial influence over 20th century-Arabian culture.

Talal Maddah began his career emulating Hijazi singers such as Hassan Jawa and Mohammed Ali

Sindi.

During his career, he participated in many festivals in Saudi Arabia between 1960 and

2000.

He also participated in many festivals in the Arab states of the Persian Gulf, Egypt,

Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.

His music was introduced to the rest of the Arab world after his songs were played in

Cairo.

Egyptian composers like Mohammed Abdel Wahab, Mohammed Al Mogy and Baligh Hamdi began to

write songs for him.

In 1976, he had his first pan-Arab hit with "Muqadir".

Over the course of his long career, Maddah collaborated with many composers, including

Ibrahim Raafat, Gamal Salama, Tariq Abdul Hakim, Abu Bakr Salem Belfkih, Sami Ihsan

and Mohammed Shafiq.

He also discovered and trained fellow Khaliji singer Abadi al Johar.

Maddah collapsed and died suddenly of a heart attack on Al Meftaha Stage in front of his

fans shortly after he performed an intro to one of his famous songs.

The Google Pixel 2's best feature just got a major upgrade ● Tech News ● #TECH - Duration: 2:06.

GOOGLE Pixel 2's best feature just got a major upgrade and owners of the flagship Android

device are going to be very happy.

The Pixel 2 was released back in October and introduced a radically improved camera from

the original.

The smartphone's single snapper was capable of capturing some of the best photos on a

mobile device ever.

While rivals such as the Huawei P20 Pro have since introduced triple camera systems and

new sensors, the Pixel 2 still takes incredible photos.

But owners of the Pixel 2 can now harness the Moment Pro Camera app on the Google Play

Store to take incredibly detailed shots.

The app is taking advantage of Google's own Pixel Visual Core technology that lets the

app fully utilise the tech giant's HDR+ mode that allows pictures on the Pixel 2 to come

out incredibly crisp.

Google was praised for combining a trio of great camera hardware, software and its signature

machine learning capabilities to produce fantastic photos with Pixel 2.

The new feature means users can take advantage of the functionality offered by the Moment

app while also being assured they are taking shots with the same level of quality as they

would in the native camera software.

Prior to the update, users could not be completely confident third-party camera apps would fully

take advantage of Google's custom hardware.

The Moment Pro Camera app launched last month and promises to give users "full manual control"

of any photos they take.

Pixel 3 is expected to up the camera ante again with leaks suggesting the device will

keep a single sensor on its rear but radically refine its hardware and software.

While the Pixel 3 was presumed for an October announcement, notable leaker Evan Blass recently

declared Google will hold a hardware event towards the end of the year to announce a

host of new products.
