Youtube daily is it Aug 2 2018

today on ask Johnny swirl we have a seri... I don't know what to do

we calm down we see... today on Ask Johnny Swirl...too much a little less

pillow talk it's a special pillow talk episode

All right all right... you're already laughing...

today on Ask Johnny Swirl we are going to talk about the single most single

biggest challenge frustration when it comes to interracial relationships I've

gotten asked this question in certain ways but I'm actually working on a

project for my marketing agency for one of my clients and this is how this

question came about so but it's actually a really good question and tell you what

let's just go ahead and get into the show all right welcome back to the show

today the question is

and let me get right into the answer today so this is some people want to

talk about for a long time on the show I just didn't know how it was going to

approach it but today is the big day and to me the biggest challenge I feel like

with interracial relationships but this goes for anything in life will really

poor relationships in general and stuff I just think it's bigger with

interracial relationships because we're dealing with different races and

ethnicities and that is assumptions what I guess I'm getting at is people okay

so I don't even take this back to my marketing agency where when I have a

client and they're you know they're the the owner for that I'm just gonna start

to be the owner or CEO but it could be like just somebody whoever the head of

their marketing department and whatnot it they always assume that they know

what their customers thinking until you put something out there from a marketing

standpoint and they were totally wrong at what they thought their customer

client patient whatever wanted and I think that's true in dating as well you

know everybody thinks oh like this is I sometimes you guys in the comments will

kind of get on my nerves a little bit with the you know black men and the

white men and but you know it's like you know you're you're talking we people are

individuals you guys you know I mean at the end of the day people are still

individuals yes you will see you know things skew a certain way that you know

predominantly there's predominately that but let's be honest everybody's

different so when you're dealing with it on an individual we're all individuals

so if we go dating somebody of a different race or ethnicity we're

automatically assuming things about them I guess from some standpoint that's a

human nature we're always gonna do that in anything we do you know like if you

you know like I know me if I went on a date with a Mexican girl who you know

her she's Auto percent Mexican I'm gonna start assuming things about her I just

know myself I've never gone with a Mexican girl

before but I'm gonna assume that she eats a lot of tacos and you know me

these are things so I understand we were all are gonna do that to some extent

let's keep that in mind but I guess my point is this if everybody said to

themselves you know okay I might assume things but let me keep an open mind

going into something there would be a lot less problems you know and I think

people because people's insecurities get in the way and whatnot what we think we

automatically think everybody else feels that way I've noticed and I pay close

attention to this stuff maybe because I'm only child my whole life and I was

bored but I would pay attention that like if somebody liked baseball they

automatically just think everybody else likes baseball even though they know

everybody else doesn't like baseball if that makes any sense

so I think they feel that way about interracial dating as well right so if

I'm a black woman who's really never dated a white guy before right away

whatever white guy I go out with I'm going to assume he's automatically in

this way that all white men are so like he does this or he doesn't do this or

he's got this or he doesn't have this and I think that is the single biggest

challenge when it comes to interracial dating interracial relationship

let me read something to you guys because I what I'm one of my favorite

commenters so I brought it before Belinda joy I wanted to on the video on

astronautics world 62 because attraction of black women fall along class lines

for white men she says Belinda talks about crystalline

and about pushing the idea that that if a black woman wants to attract the white

man she can't be fat and shouldn't allow herself to be big I'm a big woman I

would compare my looks to a woman half my size and I think I am pretty

I don't believe size matters matters when it comes to attracting a white man

I think the overall appearance swagger and personality does because the bottom

line is there are men of every race that don't like fat women and only prefer

thin women you as a white man could tell me if I'm wrong on that point I also

think the same is true when it comes to class I have had white men that

clearly attracted me not approach me and I never know if it's because of my age

or how I am dressed because if I am in a business suit carrying my briefcase

sashay down the street they look and smile but don't approach me the white

guys in business suits will but not a guy dressed in jeans and a t-shirt okay

so I guess the point I'm trying to make is right away you know

Belinda's in her mind trying to figure out okay why are they doing this were

they not doing this but I think the point is this and I like what she's

saying in that comment is that you know she's right in that there are guys of

different races that like bigger women guys that like skinny women there's guys

like you know and and I think the good example is myself you know when I was

growing up in Brett grade school eventually school junior high high

school always liked the black girls but I was a popular got the white girls

liked me I wasn't so you know what I'm saying like nobody would have expected

in society standards for me to like black girls when they would just have

expected me being a wreck a white guy of a certain look and whatever else to like

the white girls do you see what I'm saying

so my point is the assumptions if we assume right away we're all we're gonna

we're going to block our blessings by thinking it's this way and that's the

only way it is do you know what I mean I think that's the perfect example because

everybody would have just think I mean there were so many times when these

white girls are sort of like what is wrong with you why don't you like us you

know but when I like the black girl so my point is yeah I may have been in the

minority among white guys but still that's how I was so I think the point

I'm trying to make is all these assumptions and all these assume are the

reason people aren't even going on dates in the first place because they think

well I'm a big girl so that is fate a guy won't like me or I'm you know a

white guy black girls don't like white guys so you

know what I mean I so I think assumptions and assuming is the biggest

single challenge frustration when it comes to interracial relationships

because I see it all the time my goal like I said with this channel I

don't when it comes this channel I don't like I'm not here saying everybody

should be an interracial relationship contrary to the Pro black haters and the

see racist they get on the channel that's not the point by point is for

people to expand their horizons if they're not happy in the situation's

they're in or dating the same race of guys and girls that they're dating so

for me it's really about people opening up and I think the problem with that is

people have their own prejudices their assumptions and so that keeps them from

doing that and it's so funny because I guarantee if I have guests here that

have never dated outside of their race I guarantee if I ask them that they're

gonna say it was the biggest problem well I don't you know because if you

know if you're a black guy you've always dated black women you approach black

women a certain way you approach a white woman you're gonna be out of your

comfort zone even if you change your approach you're still gonna get a little

bit of a you know hesitation or trepidation to approach that white woman

or Hispanic well you know everything is different you know it's it's it's all

sumption that's a problem but like I said this this cross is even more

interracial relationships or relationships in general this goes for a

lot of things people thinking I can't get a job because oh they'll never want

me and bla bla bla I guess that's the only way we're gonna move ahead is the

societies if we get these assumptions out of our head or if we get rejected

because we were right on the assumption okay but move to the next move to the

next one and that might not be that way so that's that's my single biggest I

think is the single biggest challenge make sure you click in the description

to put your email in there and our be a swirl network insider I'm gonna be

setting emails out every week here soon I haven't already I've been busy as hell

but I'm gonna be on that not miss it and then make sure you shoot me a comment so

if you made it this far - we're gonna start needing videos from you guys we

want to start putting up videos from you guys talking about the single biggest

challenge in frustration you have with interracial relationships

we're not Camilla's corner won't be going anymore so we're trying to come up

with new different show ideas and stuff so we want you guys I'd love to have you

guys start doing videos we're all one big community I'm not here trying to hog

the camera hog the limelight so you know hit me up shoot me an email and I'm

gonna catch you guys on the next hashtag ask Johnny Swirl

Is it Okay for a Christian to Drink Alcohol? - Duration: 3:12.

The stats are in and Americans are drinking . . .

a lot.

And that Americans are drinking a lot more.

In the past 10 years, heavy drinking has gone up 17%

and one in five Americans is considered a binge drinker.

Now, before you pause and Google, "What are the criteria for binge drinker?" consider this.

The question really is, "Is it okay for a Christian to drink alcohol at all?"

The Bible is relatively silent when it comes to prohibitions with alcohol.

However, it does say it is not okay to overindulge and to get drunk.

So, what does that mean for us?

You have to look inside of yourself.

And what I mean by that is, it comes down to people.

The Apostle Paul says lots of things are permissible,

but not everything is beneficial.

Every one of us is wired a little bit differently.

If your parents are alcoholic, let's say you have one alcoholic parent,

that means you have a 50% chance of being alcoholic yourself.

If both parents are alcoholic, you have a 75% chance of being alcoholic.

So what's the takeaway?

You may be wired in such a way that you were driven to compulsive drinking.

You may be wired in such a way that you naturally are prone to over indulgence.

If that's the case, even though the Bible says it may be okay,

you step back and say, "This is not for me."

Now, you might be on the other side.

Maybe you can have a glass of wine, or even two, with your friends and you feel no compulsion to overindulge.

You never have too many and this is not something that controls your life, or ruins your body,

or your health or your productivity.

So, you're thinking, "Great! I can have all the wine I want as long as it's within a certain amount."

Not quite so fast.

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

In America right now, one and seven people have struggled with an alcohol problem this last year.

That means as you go and enjoy drink yourself,

maybe it is no problem for you.

However, you don't know where they're at in their journey to try and stop alcohol's control in their life.

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

And sometimes the greater love for your brother or sister in Christ,

means you step back from your ability so that you can help them walk with God.

Because, ultimately, that's what we all want.

Whenever we talk about alcohol, that's a

difficult topic because for many of us, or many of us know someone,

who has been controlled by alcohol.

And my question to you is, "Are you one of those one-in-seven that struggles with alcohol?"

This is not something you need to be ashamed of, to hide under the rug.

This is something you need to go talk to people about and find resources to get the help

you need so that you can continue your walk with God

and not be controlled by this outside force.

I look forward to talking with you tomorrow as you wrap up our series and we ask the question,

"Is it ok for Christian to get a tattoo?"

Why we won't be seeing any photos of Kate Middleton and her family on holiday in Mustique - Duration: 4:00.

With their friends' wedding approaching on Saturday, it's assumed that Prince William and Kate are back in the , preparing for the Surrey celebrations

The couple have spent the past few days on a family holiday in Mustique with their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis

And on past trips to the Caribbean island, a few snatched photos of the royals enjoying their holiday have surfaced online – but so far, none have appeared

A former holidaymaker to Mustique has told just how strict security is. It seems to be an unwritten rule that photography is off limits, and everyone respects each other's privacy

"Mustique is very exclusive and press and paparazzi can't be within a certain distance from the island, which would explain why you only see long-lens, grainy shots of the royals," the insider said

Day visitors can only stay on a certain part of the private island while the rest of the area is shut off to overnight guests, who have to show proof of their accommodation if asked

"Security is really tight on the island," the insider added. "We had hired a catamaran to tour around the Grenadines and were visiting Mustique for the day

As we were approaching the island, someone from the island's security team sailed out and told us we weren't allowed to bring cameras with us

It is a private island after all.  MORE: See Kate's enviable holiday wardrobe  "As soon as you dock, there are taxi drivers who you can hire to take you around and point out celebrity hotspots

They point out A-listers' houses – we saw Bryan Adams, Tommy Hilfiger and Mick Jagger's homes

We went to Cotton House Hotel, Basil's Bar and Macaroni Beach where we spotted Jade Jagger having a swim

We also saw Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy while we were having a drink at Basil's Bar

We also went past the sloped runway where the private jets land. It was like something out of James Bond

It was surrounded by lots of trees – it's almost like a secret, hidden runway."  MORE: Harper Beckham and her cousin are so identical!  Mustique's official website also notes just how safe the island is, with the team headed up by former Scotland Yard Chief Simon Humphrey and his officers

"Simon is responsible not only for the island's security but the island's police and fire services, so he is the man in the know, 24/7," the website notes

"Every island visitor is registered with our security team before arriving on island by land, air or sea, whether staff, local islander or guest to ensure the security team know who is on the island at any one time

With such a conscientious and friendly team looking after you, rest assured, you will never want to leave

" The website also notes that guests arriving by boat are asked to call ahead and reserve a mooring from the Moorings Office

Is it biblical to say God "loves you" to believers and nonbelievers alike? - Duration: 3:07.

Historically and theologically, we distinguish among three types of divine love.

There is the love of benevolence, where God has a kind spirit to the whole world—His

benevolent love falls on everybody.

But there is also the sense in which the love of God is defined in terms of God's beneficence,

that is, not just simply what His attitude is toward the world, but how He displays that

goodness universally.

The rain falls upon the just as well as on the unjust, and so that universal dimension

of the love of God is manifest.

But usually when we're talking about the love of God in popular language, what we're

talking about is what we call God's love of complacency.

And that term, the love of complacency, is not used in the way in which we use the term

complacency in our age, in our culture.

Our use of complacency means smugness, self-satisfaction, that sort of thing.

But rather, when the Scriptures indicate the love of complacency, it is that special love

that God has for His Son and all of those who are in His Son and who are adopted into

His family.

And if we talk about the love of God and His terms of the love of complacency and we talk

about it universally, that's blasphemy, because God does not love the whole world

with the love of complacency.

The Scriptures tell us that there are many ways in which God is at enmity with the world.

He hates the world.

He hates those who are swift to shed blood, and we have to take that into account.

When I hear preachers stand up and say that God loves everybody unconditionally, I want

to scream and say, "Wait a minute, then why does He call us to repent?

Why does He call us to come to the cross?

Why does He call us to come to Christ?"

If God loves everybody unconditionally, then you can do whatever you want and believe whatever

you think, but that's just not true.

He's placed an absolute condition to enjoy the love of complacency.

He doesn't just invite people to come to His Son; He commands all men everywhere to

repent of their sins and to come to Christ, and if you want to enjoy the love of complacency,

you have to be in Christ.

Is it REALLY possible to drink WINE and still get a FLAT belly?🍷 🤔 - Duration: 6:52.

[WINE POURING]

Hey, everybody out there.

Coach Dan Long with Get Lean In 12.

And yes, you caught me, red wine, love wine.

If you love wine and you want the dream body that you desire,

then you got to listen up, because I

have specific movements that I'm going

to perform right here in my living room

while we have a glass of wine together.

And these are going to help you get the lower belly

fat to disappear.

So you're going to get the body that you desire by drinking

wine and using a system that I have for you that's

going to be up at this link.

Don't click it just yet though, OK?

Because we got to go over these exercises,

because if you want this, you've got

to combat it with something that's

going to help you continue to burn those calories.

And I have the exact system for you.

And I'm going to show you 2 exercises right now

that you too can do to help you get that dream

body in your living room, OK?

So I'm going to put this over to the side real quick.

So now with that, I'm going to back up so you can see me, OK?

I'm in my living room right now.

And I'm going to perform these exercises by using

just my couch and the ground.

That's it.

That's all you need.

You don't need any equipment.

You don't need anything.

So don't let anyone tell you, oh wait, wait.

There is 1 thing you need.

You only need 12 minutes.

But not right now, you're going to need only 12 minutes to get

that dream body but hold on OK?

So let's first, let's start.

You're going to put your foot up on a couch, just like so,

your left foot.

Right foot out far enough so that

when you bend down into a lunge, OK?

But you're elevating it now.

So what are we doing?

We're raising the glute, which raises the bar for all

that wine that you drink.

So that foot needs to be on here so that when you go down,

your foot is at 90 degrees.

I mean, your leg is at 90 degrees.

Want to make sure this is at 90 degrees.

So foot is up on there.

Your right foot needs to be out in front of you,

so your knee doesn't get bent to a point

where it's actually putting pressure on your kneecap.

Put your hands in your chest just like so.

Down, knee almost to the ground, back up.

Squeeze that glute.

Down, back up, squeeze that glute.

Now you're going to get 15% to 20% more blood pumping

into the glute to raise that glute by just squeezing it

at the end of the rep.

You're going to do that for 12 reps on the left.

Now we're going to switch sides, OK?

So now I'm going to go on the right.

OK, foot just up on there.

You need to take your shoes off by the way.

I'm just doing this with some shoes on right now.

And then, hands on the chest, down, back up,

squeeze the glute nice and tight.

Down, back up, squeeze the glute nice and tight.

Keep that chest up, chin up.

And that is an elevated lunge right off of your couch

that you can do off of a bench, you can do it off

of a box crate, you can do it off anything

you want, your steps, anything you got around your house.

Now second exercise, now again, these exercises

are specifically designed for people

that are over the age of 35, because they're

simple movements and they help you shred calories

from things like wine.

Hands at the chest just like so.

Separate your feet, point your toes out

to keep the pressure off your kneecaps.

You're going to come, let's do it sideways.

You're going to come down into a squat, right back up.

Now down into the squat, squat, lunge.

Squat, lunge, opposite side, again, squat, lunge,

so now you're used to a mountain climber.

This is completely different.

You're now doing a squat, engaging all of this.

Engaging all of this, burning like you never

even knew that you could burn.

Then, going into a jump lunge.

Then you stop, back into the other side.

Stop, back in the other side.

Incorporate that movement.

Now do you do those for 12 rounds on each leg.

So I'm sorry, 12 reps each leg, but only for 3 rounds.

You don't need any more 3 rounds.

These exercises specifically designed,

I'm already out of breath.

And I'm already, can you see this?

Look at this.

I'm already starting to sweat.

I'm already starting to sweat.

Exactly, activating longated muscles, multiple muscle

groups, all at 1 time combatting the wine

that we know we love to drink.

OK?

There's nothing wrong with red wine, obviously in moderation.

This is heart healthy and this is good for you,

but let's face it.

You have to face the facts.

The facts are you have to have a system

to help you get the protocols that you need,

to help you get the exercises that you need, to teach you

the movements that no 1 else knows except someone

like myself or my great friend and fitness professional Shaun

Hatswell that have been in the industry for over 20 years.

So if you want to drink your wine

and you want that flat belly too, yes, you can do it.

This link up above, it'll take you

to a system called the Over 40, I'm so out of breath, already

from just that.

It only takes 12 minutes.

So drinking wine can be a success

to getting a flat belly.

FULL FACE OF MY OLD MAKEUP MISTAKES! It was....a look | BEAUTY BANTER - Duration: 10:14.

Hey guys, welcome back. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'm be doing a fun different style video for my channel

I'm going to be doing a full face of makeup using

Doing all the makeup mistakes that I used to make so if you want to see that video keep on watching

If you haven't already done so don't forget to subscribe to my channel

If you like my videos hit the thumbs up button if you like this

Particular video idea right here and definitely leave a comment below. I love hearing from you guys and responding

Thank you so much for your continued support. Let's jump right into the video

Okay, so I used to do my makeup very different than how I do it now that I kind of know what I'm doing

So starting right off with the base I did not use foundation way back in the day

I used to pretty much just use concealer and I would really only use concealer under my eyes. So like forget any

Balancing out of anything the concealer just went under my eyes and I always used a concealer

That was a few shades too light for me

Actually, I

Don't even think I did it this way. I don't even think I knew to do it. I gotta take this off because

It's just habit

But I did not used to apply my concealer that I

Nothing like a nice rough paper towel under the eyes

This is the k'kaw beauty concealer, by the way, I feel like my backgrounds looking dull as

Okay, so let's start over so no I did not use to apply my concealer that way I used to just do this

To little half-moons right underneath now, I know better

I know that that's not the best way to apply concealer, especially if you have under eye bags like me

but that is how I used to do it and I used to take my finger and blend it in because

There was no such thing as a beauty blender

back when I was

Making all these mistakes

So, you know, just press it in get those nice raccoon eyes looking awesome

Okay, cool, so I did not use any sort of setting powder

Back when I used to do my makeup what I would use basically to set my entire face his bronzer

There was no limit to how much bronzer I applied to my face

And I was not just applying it in the three and the E

I was applying it everywhere including

Under my eyes I kid you not this is how are you she was bronzer to set my under eye concealer

because

My under eye concealer was always too late for me

Which instead of just buying a darker concealer that maybe matched me a little better. I would just compensate by actually

Setting minder eye concealer bronzer. No joke

It would just go

Everywhere because we wanted to look tan

You don't care about dimension

We don't care about looking like an oompa loompa

We just wanna know like

All bronze I

Can't remember which bronzer I used back in the day. I feel like it was a matte bronzer, but not this one

We just you know, just keep piling it on

Definitely. Don't worry about applying too much

Not a concern so

again, like I said, I straight-up set my under eye with bronzer because I had to really

counteract

the whiteness

That's actually not looking that bad on camera cuz I'm tan but if I was doing this on my typical paler skin

It would look way more ridiculous

So sometimes I even went so far as to take a setting brush and actually

Apply it right under the eyes

So I did not want to look like a reverse raccoon for sure

Okay now for there was no other really complexion work definitely no highlighter contouring blush

We didn't like dimension back in the day. We just liked a flat brown

orange

look

So for eyeshadow, I'm actually digging out the actual eyeshadows. I used to use they are by Mac. The first one is

swish

as

You can see it was well-loved. It's like an iridescent

Pink color and the other one. I absolutely loved was stars and rockets again another

Well-loved shade and this is like an iridescent dual chrome purple

so

We didn't do any sort of neutral natural smoky eyes. This was just like let's do a nice

Wash of color and you know call it a day. So I

Think this is the actual brush. I used to use. This is this is a mat shader brush and

Let's go in with the purple because I loved this color

I thought it made my eyes look green, even though they're not they're blue and I would essentially just

Pack it all over the lid. I really didn't know about blending back then

So I just would kind of

You know apply it all over

This is turning out so much less offensive that I pictured it in my head

But we're not done so, you know just pack this on no need to blend

Just make sure it's really bright I

Don't think I actually

Put anything on my lower lash line in the way of shadows

but you best believe I put a hideous black eyeliner along my

Waterline. Let me grab that okay?

So this was before I discovered like cream colored eyeliners or brown or even blue something a little bit softer

This was just straight-up black. We got our color. We got our Islander

I did not do anything with my brows to speak up whatsoever

So we just leave that I had not discovered an eyelash curler yet. So I would just apply

my mascara

This is the Sigma lash called sannyasa D. I really like this mascara

But I would definitely have been using one from the drugstore

mode f

Wasn't applying

Mascara to the lower lash line yet. Haven't hadn't discovered that trick

Oranjee goodness. Okay, my routine wasn't very involved

Actually, I forgot eyeliner. This is like the best part of the whole damn tutorial. Okay. So how I did my winged liner?

Was I would you know sloppily coat it on my upper lash line because they just wasn't that good at makeup yet

So, you know just get a cute little line there and then this is this is my ring weighing ready

Just one little no filling in no going back where it's just an actual

This cute little little flick that was a flick that's what what a flick was when I was starting to do makeup. Okay, so

This was certainly before I discovered the beauty of lip liner

This was way before Kylie Jenner took the lip king by storm. This was like back in the day

Okay, and we wanted pale ass lips. This was cute. So this is Agatha by Kat Von D

This is a wicked old lipstick and actually hate the formula of this particular color

But it's a good it's a really good match for what I used to wear

Coat it on

And I didn't like know any of the tricks back then that I do now like how to Pat your

Lipstick in so it looks more natural

So just you know, leave it like that

What it doesn't look good

What do you what do you mean my wings aren't even what do you mean my eyeshadows not blended what so

Pretty much it

Okay guys, so this is my completed look

Tons of all the makeup mistakes that I used to make I have since learned better

But this is this is a look and if you still rock this look good for you girl

Meghan receives her first royal birthday gift - and it will mean a lot to her - Duration: 4:00.

Meghan Markle will celebrate her first birthday as a member of the royal family and as a married woman this weekend

The Duchess of Sussex turns 37 on Saturday, and we're hoping Prince Harry is planning something special for the big day including the perfect present

But as a royal, Meghan is also likely to receive lots of other presents from fans and well-wishers around the world - and she's already been sent her first one

It's a lovely gift, and it's something that fits in perfectly with her beliefs and passions

The animal rights organisation PETA has sent Meghan a £290 handbag by designer Alexandra K

The bag is completely cruelty-free and made with vegan leather, and it even has a gold badge on the front which proudly states: "This bad is animal cruelty free and vegan

"   Speaking to OK! magazine , PETA director Elisa Allen said: "PETA believes this animal-friendly bag is absolutely perfect for the Duchess, as she is mostly vegan and cares about animals and the environment – in sharp contrast to the leather industry, which, in partnership with the meat trade, kills over 1 billion animals every year

"Chances are that this gorgeous handbag will inspire the Duchess to embrace vegan fashion and leave all animal skins out of her wardrobe, as she's already done with fur

"PETA hopes the gift will encourage the royal family and its fans alike to embrace compassionate brands like Alexandra K and to steer clear of cruelly obtained animal skins

"  Unlike some of the other presents she'll be sent, Meghan should actually be allowed to keep this one

As a member of the royal family, there are all sorts of rules surrounding what gifts Meghan can accept

The general rule is that they're not allowed to accept gifts from people they don't know

But as it's been sent by an organisation, she should be okay.  The royal family's website states: The rules state: "Gifts from public bodies Members of The Royal Family may accept gifts from government bodies, trade associations, guilds, civic bodies, the armed services, charities or similar organisations in the UK, especially those with which the Member of The Royal Family has an established connection, in the course of official engagements or to mark special personal occasions

"  However, if the gift had been sent from the designer it would have been a different story

The website continues: "Gifts offered by commercial enterprises in the UK should normally be declined, unless they are offered as a souvenir of an official visit to the enterprises' premises, to mark a Royal marriage or other special personal occasion

"When gifts are accepted, the consent of the Member of The Royal Family should be contingent upon the enterprise undertaking not to exploit the gift for commercial purposes

"Gifts, including samples, should always be returned unless it is not justifiable to do so on the grounds of cost

If such gifts are not returned, they should be treated as official gifts."

Is it important that a church subscribe to a confession? Why or why not? - Duration: 1:48.

Ferguson: Anything smaller than that or theoretically larger will not give you the stability that

a solid confession of faith will do.

For example, you might say the Bible is our confession.

But that wouldn't help us.

All that tells us is that the contents of this book constitute our confession.

The real question is tell me what the contents of this book are and what a really good confession

of faith is, is a summary of the theology of the confession written, of course, in a

particular a lot of historical context but with a view to the people of God in every

place and in every generation.

So that, for example, I've been, you know, in intervarsity in the United Kingdom, 10-point

confession of faith was for me a terrific nurturing organization.

But the value of that 10-point confession of faith pales into insignificance with something

like the Westminster Confession of Faith.

Westminster Confession of Faith will do you as the one book you have on a deserted island

will do you if you're an elder, if you're a pastor, as a foundation for virtually everything

you encounter in the life of the Christian church and principles for applying the gospel

to situations that the Westminster Divines never contemplated would exist.

"I Can Hear, And It's Wonderful"—Stories Of Overcoming Hearing Loss - Duration: 3:18.

- [Susan] I've been dealing with hearing loss for 15 years.

- [Sue] 28 years.

- Most of my adult life was deaf.

- And it got to a point where I couldn't even tell

what music was playing.

- The hearing aids worked great when you first get them.

When you have no sound and then you get a hearing aid,

you think it's wonderful.

- They had to be turned up, they had to be adjusted.

I was losing more and more hearing.

- I started avoiding the phone.

- The phone was not my friend.

- [Gay] I could tell that I was not hearing

the complete conversation.

- [Jeff] And the embarrassing part is when you start responding

to questions or conversations that are out of context.

- You become withdrawn

and people are getting angry with you

and they withdraw from you

as much as you withdraw from them.

- I was a wallflower.

- [Doyle] My fallback was always my wife.

Without me being able to hear her,

I don't know what I would've done.

- When your work and your livelihood is

in jeopardy, that's your wake-up call.

- That was my wake-up call.

- That was my wake-up call.

- That was my wake-up call.

- That was my wake-up call.

- [Sue] And then you learn that

a Cochlear Implant

could change that.

- I said, well I'm going for it

'cause we were getting ready to have more grandchildren.

I want to hear these boys.

I want to be able to drive them around.

I want to be able to enjoy their activities.

- I definitely wish I would have had my Cochlear Implant done

you know, 20 years ago.

I think it would've made a big difference on my life.

I wish I wouldn't have been afraid.

- Life is so much better after my Cochlear Implant.

Better than I ever anticipated.

- It's a new life,

because my hearing's back.

It's regained (chuckles).

- [Lil] Not only to participate at family gatherings

and understand my grandkids,

but also to again work with children

and help them learn how to read.

That was my life dream.

- I now go to parties.

I now participate in conversations.

I go to the movies.

I go to the theater.

I go to the concerts.

- I will volunteer to do stuff now,

where before I wouldn't.

- I got my Cochlear Implant

and my grandchildren are back in my life. (laughs)

- I hugged someone and they whispered, I love you.

And I hadn't heard that since I was a kid.

- If you're in this position, do it.

It's your wake-up call.

- You will never regret it.

- [Bob] I can hear.

It's wonderful.

Is it okay if I don't remember the moment I was converted? - Duration: 1:16.

Horton, Godfrey, Nichols, and Thomas: Yes

Larson: Moving on.

Thomas: Well, let me ask the question.

When was Samuel converted?

When was John the Baptist converted?

And, in all likelihood, it was in their mother's womb.

And, you know, I have a testimony, and I can tell you I was converted on December the 28th

at about 11:30, 1971.

I was 18 years old.

My wife, who's sitting down here has a really boring testimony in that she never remembers

a single moment when she didn't believe.

But it's not whether we can remember it.

It's whether we are trusting in Jesus Christ right now that matters.

I love being a mother.

And not everybody does, and that's okay.

I mean, you don't have to give

everything over to this little person.

You just have to make some room for her. Or him.

It's a girl.

The heart actually does expand.

I-I have no idea how it does it,

but it seems to always be able to make room for children.

Helen...

I'm passing my guru baton to you this evening.

-Oh, please don't. -[laughter]

I...

I have to.

Tonight belongs to you.

[applause]

What happens if my husband loves a baby

-more than he loves me? -Well, he won't.

And my boyfriend wants to get pregnant.

I'm not so sure about him,

but I want to really have a kid, so should I just do it?

-No. -[others] No.

Don't do that.

Like, what if I don't find a man in time?

Should I just do it alone?

You can, but it's very hard.

But, I mean, that's why you guys have each other, right?

Why you have this group?

Look, I want to be honest with you.

No matter how many new moons

or tropical Libras you circle under,

the only way out of this thing is through it.

I mean, and you can talk to astrologers or gurus or shamans,

but the only thing that really works

is living and making choices and making mistakes,

and then eventually,

you get old enough...

and you start to figure shit out.

Is the $400 Surface Go Worth It? - Duration: 6:19.

- Hey guys, this is Austin.

This is the brand new, smaller, and cheaper Surface Go.

But at $400 the question is,

is it worth it?

So Microsoft just sent this over.

Today is the launch of the Surface Go,

so you can pre-order it and all that kind of stuff.

But the general idea here is that

this feels much more like a competitor

to the iPad than a lot of the higher end Surface models.

So there are only going to be a couple models

of the Surface Go.

So this is the higher end config with the Pentium Gold,

which is standard across the board.

But with the upgrade, eight gigs of RAM

and 128 gigs of storage.

And this one is going to cost $550.

Alright, so inside we get the actual tablet itself.

That feels like an iPad.

That is much, much smaller than any of the normal Surfaces,

but we're still going to be getting a lot

of the nice features including,

when I get the plastic wrap off,

we've got the nice, fully adjustable kickstand.

Dude, this is really light, wow.

It's funny, I mean the normal Surfaces

are hardly heavy or huge,

but this just feels so much more portable.

I mean, that is nothing.

While phones are going completely away from bezels,

I actually don't mind the slightly larger

bezels on the Surface Go.

It gives you a nice sort of place to set your fingers

and use it without accidentally touching

the screen all the time.

So we've got a power cable,

so this one's going to be,

oh I have to do math.

23 watts, right?

24 watts, damn I was close.

My math skills, super sharp.

But we've got the standard Surface charger.

And this is going to be using the Surface connector.

So something that's going to be a little bit different

with this, as opposed to something like

the actual bigger Surface Pro,

is the port situation.

So we still do have the Surface connector,

but this guy's also going to have a full USB-C port.

Beyond that, it looks like we're just going to be

getting a little bit of paperwork in the box.

So, like its bigger brothers, you can pick it up

with the keyboard, as well as a stylus,

but both of those are going to cost extra.

So this is the Alcantara type cover.

Now that's going to actually run you a full $130.

You can pick up the non-Alcantara version for 100.

But don't be fooled by that $400 price tag

on the Surface Go.

It can get much more expensive very quickly.

The Surface Go is in an interesting position.

So it slots right in between the $330 base iPad,

as well as the $650 iPad Pro.

Now it is going to be both thicker,

as well as have a smaller screen than the Pro.

But you're also going to be getting

some much more PC-focused features.

Like, you know, an actual USB-C port,

and the ability to use a trackpad,

which is kinda helpful for the thing

that tries to replace your laptop.

Now the keyboards are actually going to be

a pretty similar size.

So both on the iPad as well as the Surface,

they're going to be about 85% of a standard laptop keyboard.

But the Surface definitely does have the advantage

with not only that touchpad,

but it also has a much nicer chiclet design

with some full backlighting.

Then there's the kickstand.

So this is a bit of a Surface signature at this point.

And the good thing is the Go does have

a fully flexible kickstand that's going

to be just like its bigger brothers.

You can adjust it up, down,

and pretty much stop at anywhere along the way.

Now it isn't out yet, but there will be

a little bit later this year,

a version of the Surface Go available with LTE.

Maybe not the most important thing in the world,

but just like an iPad, it can be very helpful

to have built into the device.

The iPad has made some major strides recently

to be much closer to a full laptop replacement device.

However, if you take one look at the Surface Go,

you're going to find a lot here

that's going to make your life a lot easier

if you actually do want to use it as a laptop.

And if you do want to take advantage of it

as an actual laptop,

you're probably going to want to use the microSD card slot.

With only 64 or 128 gigs of storage,

it's going to run out quick as soon

as you start doing anything more intensive.

And at least being able to throw in a 64 or 128 gig card

can make a big difference for only a few bucks.

Beyond just the difference in capacity,

there's also going to be a big difference in speed.

So while the 64 gigabyte version

of the Surface Go has slower eMMC flash,

this guy, with the 128 gigs of storage, has a full SSD.

While it's not going to be crazy fast,

it's really right on par with a lot of lower end laptops,

and especially pretty impressive for less than $600.

Where the Surface Go is kind of far off

is in pure performance.

Inside that Pentium Gold processor, well,

it's just not going to be that fast.

Now don't get me wrong.

It's still going to be faster than

the Atom-based cores inside the Surface 3,

but what you're getting here is a pair

of Skylake-based cores, which do

at least have hyperthreading,

but they're going to be kinda similar

to a last-gen core i3, except clocked much, much slower.

Mind you, we are looking at a fanless 10-inch tablet

with a 6 watt TDP,

and a max clock speed of only 1.6 gigahertz.

Now without any kind of boost, it does mean

it's going to suffer in the benchmarks.

But in real world use,

the Surface Go actually isn't too bad.

With 8 gigs of RAM, and that pretty speedy SSD,

it does hold up pretty well in normal use.

Now of course you have to temper your expectations,

you're probably not going to want

to edit 4K video on this guy,

but that Skylake-based core processor does make

a big difference to day-to-day use.

You're also getting decent graphics performance.

The Intel HD 615 inside is going to be fine

for some very light gaming,

although you really shouldn't turn this into a gaming PC,

but importantly it is going to allow you

to, say, run a couple of 1080p monitors,

or even a 4K display off of it.

Even without the keyboard,

you're also getting some other nice features.

So this is going to be full Windows Hello support,

so all you need to do is turn it on,

and very quickly it will recognize you and log in.

This is something that will be coming

to iPad soon with Face ID,

but Microsoft already has a great implementation,

and it's here on a $400 tablet today.

The screen isn't too bad.

So you're getting a 10-inch, 1800 by 1200 display,

which of course does support touch.

And while it's not going to be

the highest quality panel in the world,

it gets pretty bright, but the color accuracy

is going to be a little bit off,

and it's not going to be the most

contrasty thing in the world.

But generally speaking, for a $400 tablet,

I'm definitely not complaining.

So you are going to be getting front-firing speakers,

but they just don't really sound all that impressive.

They're a little bit on the tinny side,

and while they do get pretty loud,

the issue is there's no real bass

and they just kinda sound whatever.

I guess it's a $400 laptop, tablet, thing.

(Hit That Jive Jack by Gramatik plays)

Yeah, that's so much better.

So with the iPad, what you're getting

is something that is going to have not only quad speakers,

there's going to be one on all four corners,

but just sounds much richer, much deeper.

To be fair, the iPad Pro is also going

to be a fair bit more expensive, but no-brainer.

It's way, way better.

The cameras on the Surface Go are surprisingly good.

Not only is the webcam nicely detailed and very rich,

but even the rear-facing camera doesn't look too bad.

So, is the Surface Go worth it?

Well they've hit a good price point,

and a lot of the compromises

from the bigger Surface Pro are very understandable.

Now for most people, especially if you just want it

for basic use, I think the standard $400 version

is going to be fine.

However, if you want to actually use this

as a laptop replacement,

I would really say that you should upgrade

to the higher-end model and pick up a keyboard.

It is going to make a big difference.

Now all that being said, I'm curious.

Would you want to pick up a Surface Go,

or would you rather prefer to use something like an iPad?

Let me know in the comments below,

and I will catch you in the next one.

Here is How We are all Manipulated - Duration: 3:15.

Have you ever wondered how people in power manipulate the masses!

you probably have been their victim without realising that!

But, how exactly manipulation works?

Imagine we have some kind of truth and false, our job is to remove the truth from the sphere

of the view of person that we are trying to manipulate.

You don't necessarily have to get rid of it, you can simply distract people from it

by drawing their attention to something else.

But humans naturally search and analyse, so if you leave someone with a lie, at the end

of the day, the human mind will find an alternative.

But whats fascinating is that, when you separate the lie into two parts, everything changes

(Lie number 1, lie number 2) The human mind starts thinking that one of

them is the truth, so it chooses the best option and calms down, thinking that he has

has found the truth when in reality thats just another lie.

For example, you are told: we either get rid of immigrants and get back our jobs or keep

them and stay unemployed! the choice is yours!

but they don't tell you that you can have both of them!

they push your mind to choose between two false solutions! if someone falls under this

kind of manipulation, he would not ask himself: why does he even have to choose!

The scale of this manipulation extends further than you think!

You are told: socialism or capitalism? but they don't tell you is that none of

these systems can exist without the other! and throughout the last century, the entire

world was divided because of it!

they say: you can either try to get rich but be unhappy or stay average and be happy! because

eventually money can't buy happiness! but they don't tell you that you can be

super rich and super happy at the same freaking time!

This is often done through 3 steps!

First, artificially create a problem that attracts attention.

The bad guys on the other side of the world want to nuke us!

if we don't do something, we will be destroyed! this noise attracts people, the problem might

really exist, but its often very exaggerated!

Then we are given 2 solutions, we either live in peace but under threat or attack that country

and solve the problem.

Finally, come up with 2 smalls groups of people who will generate a lot of noise! one that

passionately supports the war while other that promotes peace and that will divide the

entire society!

But none of these options are good for the society, they just benefit the politicians

and their friends!

This method is often used to distract people from real problems but also as a marketing

strategy.

Corporations artificially create problems to make some noise and draw attention to their

products and boost their sales.

There are countless number of example, but this video has to end! Thanks for watching

I will see you in the next one!
