And today you will learn how to hold violin properly, and I will tell you the basic instructions before playing violin, with the 1st violin practice
First come the bow
If you've purchase new violin then you must have a rosin that comes with it
As I told you before in my previous video
Before playing violin first you have to put rosin on the bow by sliding on it

If you have a brand new violin then probably for 5 mins you have to add rosin
But if you already added rosin before then before every practice add rosin for about 5 to 10 slides like this

Best laptop for music production 2018 - TOP 5 (August) - Duration: 8:38.
what is the best laptop for music production in 2018? in my July edition of
this video I talked about five models suited for music production. it turns out,
and someone pointed that out in the comments, that the Dell XPS 15 isn't
because of latency issues. thank you for that comment, but that means I needed to
make an update on that video and that's this video. so again what to look out for
when it comes to laptops or music production and again five models suited
for music production, excluding the XPS 15
hey guys how are you doing? I hope you are doing marvelously well. in this video
I'm gonna talk about laptops for music production, if you are not interested in
what you have to look out for when it comes to laptops for music production
then you can skip to the end of the video. there I will recommend five types of
laptop models. what makes me the expert I worked in a computer store for 10 years
I have a degree in software engineering and I consulted my friend who owns a
computer store to make this video. when it comes to specs for computers for
music production then I've divided them in four categories the first one is the
budget category and with budget computers you can also make music. then
we have the mid-range category and that is about the i5 processors then we have
the high-end category and that is the category that we're talking about in
this video and then the last category that is the most fastest category but
that is also the category that is ridiculously overpriced
first of all the processor. choose an i7 processor or an i9 i9 is of course better, but more
expensive. and my recommendation is to choose an Intel processor
the problem is with AMD that there are some compatibility issues with some MIDI
controllers and also Thunderbolt is only an option for Intel processors. second of
all the memory. 8 gigabytes is the bare minimum but in a lot of laptops you
can't add memory or change memory later on so choose 16 gigabytes to be a little
bit future proof. when it comes to the hard drive it's important that you look
at the speed of the hard drive 5400 rpm is too slow to read multiple tracks at
the same time in your DAW from your hard disk. choose an 7200 rpm disc or even
better an SSD. a SSD is also good for the battery life of your computer
with 256 gigabytes you will probably run out of space after installing your
sample packs and your DAW so choose at least 500 gigabytes, but yeah
one terabyte this on the low side to be honest. you will run out of hard disk
space eventually. it's not a question if but when. and yes they are expensive. then
the screen. choose a 17 inch screen 15 inch is the bare minimum. make sure that
you have an external monitor connector for example via HDMI especially when
you're choosing for a 15 inch monitor so you can connect big ass screen to your
laptop. make sure that you have a backlit keyboard so you can read the letters of
your keyboard if you don't have enough light when you're producing. then a
thunderbolt connection on your laptop. for an external sound card for example
The problem is a lot of laptops don't have a thunderbolt connection. it's really
convenient to have an external mouse like a logitech side-scrolling mouse or
an Apple Magic Mouse. Side scrolling you do a lot in DAWs and yeah that touchpad
is fine for just a little bit of internet, but to use it a lot it's not
really RSI proof. don't forget to subscribe to the channel if you already
haven't and hit the bell button the to get notifications. I have compiled a white
list of laptops that are built to last. first of all HP with their elite book
series Microsoft with the Surface Book then Toshiba, Asus, Dell with
their Alienware series and of course Apple with the MacBook Pro. there is a
reason why those notebooks are so expensive. they use more quality
components like hinges or motherboards. when something is broken they can
probably fix it after two or three years. when there is a white list there's of
course also a black list the first items on my list are items that are meant to
be broken after a year, so you have to buy a new one
companies that are living by this philosophy are MSI, Acer, Lenovo
Samsung and Medion. what I also don't recommend is the Dell XPS and the
Inspiron series. also not suited for music production is the Chrome Book
from Google. if those brands offer extended warranty: buy it! you will thank
yourself later. gaming laptops are especially suited for music production
right? well yes, but not specifically. they are designed to withstand that heavy
word load and that's good for music production. but they have really advanced
graphics cards in them. And you don't take advantage of that when it comes to music
production. maybe for 3d modeling or gaming, but not music production. so you
pay a little bit or a lot extra for that advanced graphics card you don't really
need. I looked up specifications online and I found five notebooks that are
really suited for music production. the first one is HP with an elite book with
an i7 processor six cores CPU speed of 2.6 gigahertz 32 gigabytes of memory and
one terabyte SSD over PCIe. also worth mentioning that it has no thunderbolt
The second model on my list the the Asus Zenbook pro. to be precise the UX5500VD
it has an i7 processor of the seventh generation, 4 cpu cores 2.8 gigahertz
16 gigabytes of memory 512 gigabyte SSD and it has a thunderbolt connection
the next model on my list is the Apple macbook pro 2018 the 15 inch model
it has an i7 processor 6 CPU cores 2.2 gigahertz 16 gigabytes of memory 512
gigabytes of SSD of course the 15 inch monitor then they have only USB-C
connections, so welcome to dongle hell. also worth mentioning is their aluminum
body their trackpad accuracy and their infamous butterfly keyboard. model number
4 on my list is Asus. the ROG G 703 g1 it has an i7 processor with 6 CPU cores
2.2 gigahertz, 32 gigabytes of memory: so that's pretty good, 512 gigabytes of SSD
over PCIe: so that's pretty good too, it has ... worth
mentioning ... it has a 1 gigabyte extra hard disk in there, also a 17-inch
monitor. last model on my list is Microsoft with Surface Book 2 with an i7
processor, 4 cores, 1.9 gigahertz 16 gigabytes of memory, 512 gigabyte SSD
15 inch monitor it has no Thunderbolt also what I have to mention is that I
find the CPU and the memory a little bit slow for music production. but on the
other hand the trackpad accuracy is pretty good. if you want an overview of

general for computers what you have to look out for and the second one is
specific to laptops and there are also the 5 models on here that I talked about
