Five Free Ways To Promote YouTube Videos & Get More Views - Duration: 3:12.

- Let me make something clear,

your views on your videos do not equate to dollars.

Okay good, now that we cleared the air

lets talk about getting quality views,

I mean people who actually want to see your content

and want to engage with you.

It's silly to put your video somewhere,

just to get thousands of views on it,

and not a single sale.

So here are my five free ways to promote YouTube videos

and get more views.

Free video marketing method number one,

Reddit, I've been on Reddit for over five years

and I think they're one of the best places

to drive traffic if you know how to add value first.

You can't just join Reddit and find a subreddit

to post in, it's important that you make an account

and start adding value to others by sharing information,

commenting and answering questions, and building up

what they call karma to prove that you

are a valuable member of the community.

But finding the right subreddit to share a video in

can boost your views immensely to your target market.

For example, if I were making motivation videos

I would consider writing up a blog post

and posting it under the deciding to be better subreddit.

That subreddit is all about, in their own words,

self improvement, goodness and togetherness.

But make sure to embed the video in a post,

don't just share the video and expect it to go anywhere.

Provide the content that is golden.

Tip number two, create YouTube playlists.

Most YouTube users don't even realize

that playlists are a great way to increase your views.

It's basically a list of videos that play in order

one after the other, you know how Netflix

plays like five episodes in a row unless you tell it to stop

making it easier to binge watch,

that's exactly what a playlist does on YouTube.

Tip number three, make consistent and attractive

thumbnail images that encourage people to click

on your video, even if you don't have Photoshop

you can do this for free using Canva.com,

we'll put the link below right on the screen

and also below in the description for you.

Tip number four, be entertaining,

mess up, make mistakes, keep those bloopers in

but regardless make sure that you are animated.

A lot of people get on camera, which is uncomfortable enough

but they freeze like a deer in headlights.

You need to remember to amplify your energy

by 10X because the camera really doesn't do a great job

of showing your excitement unless you truly show it.

Last but not least, create what's called an end screen.

YouTube has a great feature in the settings

where you can go into your video and add things

like a subscribe button, or a watch the next video

that pops up at the tail end of your video.

These are great resources for keeping people on your content

and encouraging them to subscribe to be notified

of more content.

So as always, if you've found this video helpful,

go ahead and give us a shout out in the comments below.

If you haven't subscribed yet, but you heard tip number five

what are you waiting for, my name is Zephan Blaxberg

and I'm glad that you dropped by,

we will see you next time.

About My Deleted Videos - Duration: 10:14.

Hey. It's me penguin. Welcome to a new type of video on my channel called...

"Penguins corner". So basically this will be a kind of hangout, place to chat..

and channel updates. I will post these every Friday during August

If you are only here for the ASMR, don't worry because this will not replace my ASMR videos. This is a bonus video each week.

Actually, I'm gonna be uploading more

ASMR videos throughout the week and then on Fridays, I will do penguins corner. This might just be for a few weeks

Okay, so I often get messages about this "where did your old videos go?"

Um, some of you might know a lot of my older videos got removed from my channel.

actually

well, a lot of them are just on unlisted. I have put together a playlist and it has all of my videos that I've-

- uploaded to this channel. A couple of videos got deleted but about 99% of them are in this playlist

I will link that playlist below and if you are looking for an older video you should be able to find it there hopefully

The link to that will be in the description below

Today I'm gonna be hanging out with my friend Adri. So I figured I would make a video and bring you guys with me

Got this new selfie stick thing. actually it does work really well. It's much easier to hold the camera

I think I'm too embarrassed to hold it in public.

Adri is combing her hair. What are we doing?

oh! didn't see you there

It's really strong

Can I have - what are they?

Can I please have a vitamin? - Yes

The angle is bad

Sugarless vitamin C tablet (orange vitamin), what do they do?

Actually, they taste really good

I'm only gonna have one.

I mean now it's uneven.

why ? / because you only had one.

It tells you to take 2

These are from Animal Crossing (video game) aren't they? I know this one.

When I played the game I would always forget to save the game and then that mole character would get angry at me

What if he wasn't a real character. he just hacked into your game

Catching train ~

This is our station (joking)

Going live (livestream broadcast)

< answering viewers questions >

What is my favorite food? Mangoes. What video do you like to make? my favorite videos to make-

Actually right now it's the ear eating ones lol, I don't know why

Horscope? I'm a capricorn. What are you? -I'm Aquarius.

Any pets? - Yes, I have a pet cat called Kino

I'll show you a photo of the cat

Opinion on Donald Trump? - Yeah, I don't really think about

Wait, don't you have a poster of Donald Trump in your room lol. I thought you did

Travel? - Really want to go to Japan. I went to the United States in 2016

It was really fun, I went to Disneyland

and

Las Vegas

we drove through the desert to las vegas

One of those birds was in the background of one of my videos and comments said it sounded like a penguin

"shut the bird up"- That type of bird is called a crow. It ruins many of my videos

"do you like americans?" - Yeah, I like most countries..- -

Well, all countries I guess? haha

most countries? lol

omg there's a spider on the phone

They said the tree behind you is very cool

Should I go stand under it? - you should climb it

I'm going to go walk around. You stay here

Is your name popular where you live? - not really

I wanted to dance under the tree but that family wouldn't move.

Actually, I have been to New Zealand. I stopped there-

a stopover?

Yeah / that doesn't count.

It was cool. Even though I didn't leave the airport.

Oh the bird is gone guys

He gone.

That weird spider is back.

The spider is back? It's shiny

is that even a spider?

I think it's just an ant.

My god, I watch the butterfly. Did you see it? Fashion show haha.

She had butterflies in her outfit. She went to release them, I don't know if they were "sleeping" or dead..

but they fell to the ground.

Can you do an american accent?

no

Do you think American accents are cool? - i love accents

American ones? I used to really want an American accent because it sounds like the people on TV.

I don't really hear American accents until they are next to a different accent.

Well I don't notice Australian accents until I'm watching a movie with australians in it..

I'll be like.. woah... we sound bad.

Like when I went to watch a movie

The actor had an australian accent like us and it sounded so bad to me

Yeah. How hot does it get where you live?

Pretty hot but at the moment it's winter.

Sometimes I get comments with people saying 'why are you wearing a jumper'

in your video

it's winter here

maybe they thought the earth was flat and they were confused

How does the seasons work for the flat earth?

What if the earth is an inverted sphere?

and we're all on the inside

No, I don't think we're on the inside. We're on the outside. But you can go on the inside..

what???

you have to fly on spaceship through antarctica

ok

Tell me your favorite flower. - I really like the smell of jasmine flowers. you know, the white flowers

I had a jasmine flower tree at the house I grew up at

(asking livestream viewers) Do you guys have these birds where you live?

Q: Do you eat that bird for Thanksgiving? - No we don't have thanksgiving in australia

are you tall?

Go over there and dance

I don't know my actual height but on my license it says 180cm.

The person just wrote the number on my form without checking

so many crow birds around here

kwa kwa

Do you listen to panic at the disco?( a band) - Yeah one of my favorite songs when i was 12 is by that band

ahh helicopter

Sounds like it's coming down

yeah, it rolls the ladder down haha

end of live stream

the clouds looked good

After we did the Question and answers, we also found this big glowing thing in the park. it was really cool

It was changing lights and you could walk underneath it. It almost looked hypnotic. So here is some other footage of that

I just thought it looked it really cool

It reminded me of a giant glowing nest

There were people basking under it for some reason haha

Even though it's really beautiful ..

I still don't know what it is

I don't know if this is good for the eyes.

We talked a lot about birds and it got me thinking about my favorite birds

When I was little I had this bird-watching book where you could tick off the birds that you've seen

So I've always kind of liked Birds

I think if I got a tattoo it might be like a little bird or something like that

Since from when I was around five years old, I always really liked this one type of bird

It's called a Willy wagtail

Just this really small bird, but it has a giant tail that it sways around when it moves. it looks funny

Another one I like is called a piwi bird

I feel like people say that they're stupid. I remember someone telling me that they may be kind of dumb. But it makes me like them more

One day me and my brother came home from school and we heard this tapping sound

We were trying to figure out what it was and then we found that it was a peewee bird tapping on the window

With its beak and it came back every afternoon when we get back from school for like two weeks

We would hear the tapping. So I liked that one too. Okay. Well, I'm gonna go now

I hope you have a really good day and I will meet you again here next Friday

Okay, I'll see you in the next ASMR video and then I will see you back here next Friday

bye :)

We Wore 1 Sandal 12 Different Ways - Duration: 4:54.

- What happened?

Why doesn't, it's been two seconds.

Why doesn't mine look like hers?

(lively music)

Today, we're styling one pair of sandals 12 different ways.

- In the summertime, I wear sandals a lot.

- I like the ones that don't go in between your toes though,

because those tend to hurt a little bit.

- I just don't really feel the need to buy a lot of sandals.

- As much as I love sandals,

I don't like spending a ton of money,

so if I can get one pair that kind of like look like

a bunch of different pairs, that would be amazing.

(lively music)

I'm pretty crafty.

I feel like I can follow directions.

I don't think it's gonna be too difficult.

- I'm gonna try the Bohannon's Best tie.

I have this to work with and I have this,

so we'll see how this goes.

- This one is called Be Weave In Me.

It's a great little pun.

- Sidewinder Slide.

Ooh, that sounds like a dance.

- So first things first.

This goes through here.

- Okay, so there it is, even Steven.

Loop it around.

- I'm gonna put it through the back loop right there.

Get in that hole.

- That looks pretty.

Look at that.

- Starting to look like a sandal.

I think I'm doing this right,

but hers look so much thicker than mine.

- Is this the wrong foot?

You saw nothing.

- Did I do something?

Does it look good?

How do we feel?

- Ah, yeah, I really like the style.

It looks really cute.

- The concept is still there and it still looks pretty cute.

Hey!

- So the next style kinda looks like

a Braided Gladiator style.

- Flip flop looking thing.

- The Braided Crown.

It looks kinda complicated.

- This is my favorite part is

when I have to braid the laces.

- So I definitely move to the back two loops.

Oh, this is easy.

This is an easy one.

- Tie a knot, over and under, over and under.

Okay, let's put these in.

- Feels like I'm knitting on my feet right now.

- Oh, okay, I did it.

Luckily when people are standing up looking at your feet,

they probably wouldn't notice that it's a mess.

- I made it my own again.

- It's pretty simple,

and I feel like I can move around in it.

We did it.

High five audience.

Oh wait.

- This looks like a normal gladiator sandal.

- This one looks like a braided thong.

I'm ready of the challenge.

- So for this one,

it looks like I'm gonna be using two ribbons.

- Okay, this one's a bit different.

Oh, I did it, okay.

- If you do the cross, so then you put this under your toes.

Okay, this is actually very easy, thank God.

- I put my foot here.

Put this through the back loop.

I'm gonna do this thing.

I feel like you need nails to do this kind of stuff.

I don't have those things.

- There!

I did it!

(laughing) Oh, wait!

I did this wrong.

- I think I should've braided this.

- I think it's cute.

Don't mind the makeup or the sweat that I got on it.

- That one was the easiest for sure.

I like this one.

This is cute.

- This one looks like it's gonna be complicated.

It just wraps around me like Twizzlers.

- It's an ankle flip flop look.

- This one is like a regular tie, which looks easy,

but then it has this rose thing shoved on top of it.

- So we're putting one strap of each color

through the front loop,

and then I'm wrapping it around the back of my foot.

- Immediately, I'm like what?

- Okay, I'm done with the first bit.

This is different.

And I feel very optimistic about this one.

- I can't quite understand how,

like what you go under and what you go over,

so I'm just guessing.

- Y'all, I think I've mastered it, finally.

- Cross the straps up here, so I can come like this.

Ooh, fancy pansy!

- Yeah, I did it.

I'm actually quite impressed.

It has a little rose on top of my foot.

- It's not my favorite.

I did get it to look pretty similar.

- I have done it.

This was the hardest.

This was by far the hardest.

This is literally like IKEA for sandals.

Have you realized this?

- You don't really need much to kind of change it up.

You can make it dressy, you can make it casual.

- I would probably not try out so many, so quickly.

I'd probably just wear them for like

a week and then change 'em up.

- Overall, I thought this is such a creative way

to change up your sandal game.

- I just don't like my clothes looking the same

as everyone else's.

No one else is gonna have the same style as me.

Lots of people can try it,

but the chances of someone else

having the same style as you are rare.

- We're getting our nails done.

So our feet don't look like crap on camera.

- [Shila] We're gonna look on fleek.

(laughing)

- Hey, Unsolved is on a new channel.

Now your part.

- [Both] Subscribe here.

- That was my part.

Why Arnell Armon Almost Stopped Making Hair Videos | Skin Deep | Refinery29 - Duration: 8:52.

I really love my Mexican side because that part of my family, they're very nice and

loving, and they're all about family and unity, which I appreciate.

Also my black side as well because black people are just dope in general.

Yes we are.

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel.

If you're new welcome, welcome, welcome.

Today's video is going to be on how I got this hair color.

I'm gonna be doing this challenge.

Hey guys, I'm Arnell if you don't know me.

Normally I'd be showing you how to do your hair and makeup but today I'm gonna get

a little bit more personal and talk about something I've never talked about before

and that is being mixed raced.

My mom is Mexican and black and my dad is black.

Part of being mixed is being constantly told that you have to pick either being one of

your races or the other.

Both cultures are beautiful in their own ways and I love being able to identify with both.

I get comments, either in person or online, pressuring me to somehow prove which side

I identify with more.

I think in a way it's made me unable to fully identify with either— and I'm really

tired of it.

Today I'm coming in with an open mind ready to learn and hopefully be able to embrace

both sides of myself once and for all.

One of the amazing things about living in LA is how easy it is to access Mexican culture and history.

I'm starting my day off on Olvera street.

I've heard so much about this place and decided to finally make the trip to see it for myself.

I headed to La Golondrina, LA's first established Mexican restaurant.

Here I am meeting Jasmine, a local who has worked here for several years, to learn more

about the history and culture of this part of town.

Olvera Street was founded in 1781 by 44 settlers, which was a mixture of Spanish and African Americans.

It was never called Olvera Street — it was called Wine Lane, but then as the years went

by the town had a judge named Austin Olvera and they decided to name it after him.

So that's how it became Olvera Street back in 1877.

What are these?

Those are chicharrones, in English, pork rinds.

Oh, they're hard.

Oh snap.

They get soft?

Once you, yeah, once you chew them they're a little tender from the inside.

I'm nervous.

It's so good.

And that's…?

That's guacamole.

I don't really like avocado.

Try it, you'll love it.

Try it, try it.

I'll try it.

Here it goes.

Oh my god.

That warms your soul.

We have a mariachi band here on weekends.

Oh cool, my grandpa was a part of one of those.

That's actually so cute now that I think about it.

Oh my god.

I'm a weenie.

He passed away but he was so cool.

I feel myself getting emotional and I don't know why.

Listening to the music, memories of my grandfather and my family came back to me.

It reminded me of where I came from and grounded me in the fact that my Mexican Culture has

been a crucial character in my story for years.

But I still had this feeling I couldn't quite shake.

I had to talk to someone who knew me better than anyone else — my mom.

Hey Mom.

Hey.

So I know you're at work and what not, but I want to ask you what is was like growing

up mixed raced?

Okay so for me, being born in the late 60's, it wasn't common to be mixed race, so it

wasn't as accepted as it is now, so it was a little bit rough for me.

Because being black and Mexican, I wasn't black enough to be black and I was not Mexican

enough because I was part black.

So I kind of fell somewhere in the middle there.

For me, growing up mixed was kind of difficult because like you said you're either not

black enough or not Mexican enough.

And while I really enjoyed being around my Mexican family, it's interesting that I

relate more to my black side.

It kind out weirds me out because I didn't really grow up around them.

With you growing up mixed, how did that affect how you raised us?

I don't think the way I raised you had anything to do with being mixed.

It was more taking my own experiences, but I don't know that race had anything to do with it.

So how do you think things have changed towards the idea of being mixed?

Yeah, it's come a long way and it's become very accepted—I mean there's a few that

don't believe in it but it's very common now.

Alright, well I know you're at work so I'm gonna let you go now.

Love you, I'll see you later.

Bye.

I thought talking to my mom would clear things up for me but what I walked away with was

a sense that even our experiences are different.

I wanted to get into a creative space to help clear my head.

For me, that means play with my hair.

Hi.

Hi, how are you?

Fine.

I went to West of Heaven in Baldwin Hills to meet with professional braider, Jessica.

I wanted help creating a braided style that represents both of my ethnicities.

Okay, well I have an idea.

I figure we can do the signature part down the middle, like Frida.

And then two big corn rows going straight back like Beyonce, you know, like in her Formation video.

And then at the end of the braids I can add some ribbons, any color that you like I have

a couple colors.

And then we can twirl them around to buns.

Growing up I wasn't even aware of the texture I had I kind of thought that everyone had

the same hair texture until I was doing one of my friends hair in high school and I was

gonna do the same hair style on myself cause I thought it would be easy and I realized

that it was completely different.

And sometimes when I make videos centered around my natural hair I've gotten comments

saying that it's not right for me to make those kinds of videos because I don't have the

certain hair texture.

I got a few comments saying pretty much, "Why is she making these kinds of videos?

Her hair texture, she can't relate to the struggles of having natural hair," and that

kind of thing.

It's a bit frustrating because, yeah my hair texture but I still have my own struggles

and what not.

I hope you don't take that to heart, you know.

It makes me not want to do natural hair videos which is why I don't them on my channel.

Oh my god, no!

I'm like I don't want to deal with that.

You can't do that because some of the people that have the same texture hair as you.

But it also ties into my skin tone as well.

Because I feel like on social media a lot of times, I've gotten comments saying like,

"I'm too light to do natural hair videos."

I've literally seen articles of people saying why are light skins trying to be a part

of this movement and it's something for darker skin women.

So it kind of makes me feel uncomfortable to do those kinds of videos because I also

don't want to intrude on a movement that's not meant for me.

So, I've gotten people tell me that I don't understand what it is to be black because

I'm lighter.

So I haven't been through the same issues and I get that, I understand that but it doesn't

make me any less back in my opinion.

It builds a hatred within our own race—to hate someone else.

I noticed that a lot of people feel like…okay, if you're just half of something and then

the other part of you is black everyone just feels like, "Okay, you're just black."

No – you're both and there's nothing wrong with identifying with both.

There's nothing wrong with that.

I just want everyone to get that out of your minds, you know.

That's just, that's just bizarre.

I feel like being mixed should actually be embraced, because I feel like it's cool

to be able to be a part of two different cultures.

I think it's great!

Throughout this experience, it's really made me excited because I finally feel

comfortable enough to embrace both sides of my culture.

Without being scared to be attacked for it, or judged, or questioned about it.

Oh good.

You should feel comfortable doing anything that you wanna do and I commend you on that.

Embracing both sides of my heritage has never been easy and I could still tell I have so

much to learn about myself and my cultures.

But I don't have to pick between two sides of one whole because they are both crucial

parts of who I am and who I want to become.

Thank you so much for watching.

Kanye West May Soon Become a Billionaire—Thanks to Yeezy - Duration: 1:17.

For Complex News, I'm Frazier.

Just last month, it was announced that Kylie Jenner is set to become the youngest self-made

billionaire ever.

Based on word from her older sister Kim Kardashian, the family might be welcoming another billionaire

in the near future, and spoiler alert: it isn't Kim.

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel asked Kim if she was a billionaire

yet, and Kim hinted that she's very close to a particular almost-billionaire.

"I would say my husband is one, so that makes me one, right?

Close.

Close, by proximity."

- Kim Kardashian via 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Turns out that Kim might not be that far from the truth.

A recent report from The Blast says that Kanye West's clothing and footwear brand, Yeezy,

received a 1.5 billion dollar valuation.

And even if you doubt that Yeezy's billion-dollar valuation doesn't mean 'Ye himself is

worth a billy, remember that he's the company's primary stakeholder, so he's no doubt on track

to hit that mark.

For what it's worth, Kanye tweeted about this back in April, when he said that Yeezy

was the second-fastest growing company in history, calling it a unicorn that was soon

to be a decacorn.

For those who are unaware, a "unicorn" is a privately held startup company worth $1

billion or more, which would make a "decacorn" a startup with a value of at least $10 billion.

No matter how much money Yeezy is actually bringing in, we can all agree that Ye is bringing

in that guap.

Him touching a billy isn't that hard to grasp, right?

How To Create A Video Course That Sells - Duration: 5:36.

- Warning, if you're a marketer of you simply have

a wealth of knowledge that you'd like

to profit from don't even think about creating

a video course until you've watched this video.

There's nothing worse than knowing that you have a skill

that the world could benefit from

but you sit on the idea

because you have no clue how to profit from it.

Let's take for example,

being a master party planner.

Maybe you're amazing at picking out the food,

discovering hit menus,

and you can pack the house with people, and good music.

Wouldn't it be great to sell your knowledge?

Let me mention here,

it doesn't have to be part planning.

It can be any topic from learning to lose weight

while eating Chipotle every day,

yes, someone actually did that and successfully,

I might add.

To teaching young baseball players how to improve,

like my client Rick Dempsey who played 24 seasons

of major league baseball,

most notably for the Baltimore Orioles.

So let's dive into my five master tips

to creating a video course that sells.

Number one, good is good enough.

Far too many people worry about whether or not the lighting

is perfect or if the background is okay

but the truth of the matter is

your content must be golden.

If you have good content it will speak for itself.

It's worth mentioning that coming into the studio

and working with a videographer

that does this for a living

can take all of the stress away from producing your course.

We have tools like teleprompters

so you don't need to memorize your script.

And multiple cameras to make editing seamless.

When you mess up,

people won't even notice

because we just switch camera angles

and you don't need to start over from the beginning.

Number two, as Zig Ziegler said,

"You don't have to be great to start,

"but you have to start to be great."

Your course will never sell if you don't make it.

Most people don't have the drive to actually make it happen

or see the project through.

They often find reasons, AKA excuses,

to prevent themselves from moving forward.

The best day to begin was yesterday.

Number three, make you're content really easy to digest.

For most of history,

presidential candidates have made sure

that their speeches remain around

a sixth to eighth grade reading level, why?

Because it's really easy to understand.

No one wants to learn how to tie a tie in 36 steps.

One of my favorite tools that I recommend running

your scripts through is called, Hemingway Editor.

It's completely free and you can find it

at Hemingwayapp.com.

Earnest Hemingway was known for writing work

at a fifth grade level, despite his adult audience.

This tool shows you how to modify your content

so it's easily digestible.

Number four, mix it up.

Having one camera angle is obviously required

for making a video course

but it reminds me a lot like C-SPAN,

it's like someone set up a camera

and then took a snooze for seven hours

while it was recording.

You content can only hold people's attention for so long

so it's important to change up the image.

This might mean changing scenery,

adding in images or B Roll footage,

or it can mean simply shooting with multiple cameras.

Changing up your shots and what's on screen

will keep the viewer engaged and interested.

Think about it for a second,

how many times have we put up text or images on screen

in the last two minutes.

Which brings me to number five,

poll your audience to figure out what questions

they have before making the course.

It's so easy to think that we know

what's best for what people will be interested in

but sometimes posting a simple,

what questions do you have about X, Y, Z,

on our Facebook page, can be a great solution.

Chances are, you'll get a ton of questions

and each one can be a topic of a new video

in your course.

I know if I were starting from scratch,

that's the first thing that I would do.

The idea of making money from your knowledge

is nothing new.

Think about it like going to the doctor

or taking your car to the shop.

There's someone that's better at it than you

so you pay them to do it.

Whether it's a service or training doesn't

really make a difference.

The key is that you go to the expert.

Imagine if you could be that expert

and you could be making money practically while you sleep.

So you hop on the computer

and start Googling for the best camera to Vlog with

but you don't even really know what a Vlog is.

All you really know is that you want the nicest camera

you can get for under 200 dollars.

But then reality settles in and you realize A,

there's no way you're going to find an affordable camera

that would be considered good by the pro's,

and then you learn that B.

Video editing is really fricking hard.

There's music, there's fixing what people say,

reorganizing footage to tell a better story,

creating graphics, putting text on screen,

backing up the footage to use later,

running out of hard drive space on your computer,

the list goes on and on.

And finally C,

you remember that you've never been on camera

in your entire life,

except for your wedding in which case

there were way more distracting things going on.

So let's face it, making a video course is not easy

if you don't know what you're doing.

But I hope that you find these five tips

to make it easier to film your videos.

just like this,

so if there's a video marketing topic

that you wanna hear about.

and I read them all.

P.S. it's important to remember that

the best day to start was yesterday.

So stop making excuse for why

you haven't profited from your knowledge yet.

See you next time.
