🌐 Google sites de A à Z partie 3 - Duration: 7:27.
Hello everyone. It's Lou's screenshot tuto. I am delighted with you
find for this third part dedicated to google sites and you have the
Googlesiteseo website which is now online on which you
can complete all information given in this tutorial.
the address bit.ly/googlesiteseo and I expect you to complete
your knowledge. We will see here in this third part how
optimize the website that we have together creates. We will
talk about indexing and referencing. Madam turtle has arrived, Creed is not
there this week he was punished by the headmaster for kidnapping students
last week. But we will see in this plan how to track the
statistics with google analytics, shorten the url of the site, and speak
indexing and referencing. the pc went out and we left. We go
start right away by going on google analytics, in the game
settings, you will create a property. You enter the name of your
site, for me google sites from a to z, and you enter the url address of your
site. You fill in all the little ones information that is below and you
click next. You arrive on this page which you
give the tracking code ID. You copy paste this code and
we will enter it in our google sites. Click on the three little ones
points, site analysis,
and where indicated, you copy your code,
right here. You register. Now that this is done and well you can
follow the statistics of your site. At first it's empty necessarily. There I
have given you as an example the analytical data from screenshot tuto
and you see that I was able to configure as it seems interesting to me
in any case, my dashboard, with the number of new users, from where they
come, what kind of browser they use
etc., etc... We will now shorten the url
from our google sites since the address is a little bit longer to put
on a business card it's not a very very good confidence. For
shorten the url, I advise you to use bitly.
You go to the site and you click on "create". You will create a new
link with the name of your site and after the bitly prefix, give you the name of the
site that you wish for your address. For me it's googlesiteseo.
Now you can copy this link
wherever it seems interesting, on pages and web pages and on
a business card, at least everywhere wherever you want.
We move on to the indexing part and SEO
which is very very
important for the engines of search can you spot, you
identify and be placed in the first pages, because there are only the
first pages that are interesting for the user. Past the first page
we then have a
big loss. I advise you to structure well
your text. 300 words is a minimum and then use the h1 tag
h2 h3. The h1 tag corresponds to the title of the page. Then you have the titles
and subtitles, so did not put titles on your pages
everywhere on your text. Robots do not go more understand after what you want
speak. Even if it's nice, it's write in big, try to respect the
text structure to be able to be properly indexed and then in the
titles and subtitles dragging keywords so that the robots
understand very quickly what your text will speak.
You will probably need to be indexed on search engines
to have a sitemap A sitemap is the plan of your site. You can create one in
xml with a sitemap generator like this. You enter here the url of your
site you go on start and you get a site map file that is put
in your download files. To register on the engines of
search i advise you to start with addme. In this site
you will be able to reference about twenty engine of a single
blow like google for example and that's quite simple you simply enter
the address of your url is automatically you will be
references.
For bing and yahoo it's now the same thing. The link to reference you
on its search engines the different links are on the site
googlesiteseo and the last engine of search that I present to you here,
yandex, who will you ask for your sitemap,
the one you created with the generator. You get him in line and
you are then indexed by this engine of research. Now that all this is
did we go to the search console and we're going to add a
property. You click on add a property, you enter the url address
of your site and you have to add.
Google analytics will use your insynchronous tracking code,
the one we created with with google analytics sorry, for the search
console. You validate and now he is going have to index one by one each of your
pages. You go into the search console,
in exploration, explore like google, and there, there is no mystery, to accelerate
a little bit of indexing of your pages, we'll have to grab them one by one and
ask for an indexation for each of your pages. For googlesiteseo
I'm 30 pages for which I asked for indexing. Well, it's
the end of this tutorial. I hope he will will have been helpful. A clip I like always makes
pleasure. If you are not subscribed to chain,
subscribe and if you are a subscriber operate the bell to receive all
notifications when a new video appears. I tell you
see you soon for a new tutorial.

Track Form Field Data with Google Tag Manager - Duration: 15:09.
In this video, I'm going to show you how you can extract data from a given form field
that was submitted and forward this onto your tracking tools, such as Google
Analytics, or the Facebook Pixel.
All and more, coming up.
Hey there and welcome back to another video of measureschool.com teaching you the
data-driven way of digital marketing.
My name is Julian.
And today we want to talk
about how we can extract data from a submitted form and forward this on to our
tracking tools.
Now, you're surely aware that there's great information available in
a form that is filled out like a Contact Us form.
You could get data like how big is
your company, what is your request all about, what are your preferences, what are you
interested in, and that data normally goes into your CRM systems so the request can
be probably answered.
This is great data that I'd love to have available as well in
my Google Analytics or my Facebook Pixel so I can do segmentation, retargeting,
analyzing of certain customer groups that have certain preferences, right?
Well,
today, I'm going to show you one technique to actually grab that data from a
submitted form field and forward it on to your favorite tracking tools.
In this
video, we're going to use some techniques in Google Tag Manager to actually dig
deeper into an object that is inside of the data Layer, and pull out the right
information from the submitted form field so we can use that in our tracking
deployment.
Now we've got lots to cover
so let's dive in.
So here we are back in our demo shop.
And in a previous video, we have already set up
our form tracking.
So if I fill out this form,
and send this off, you'll see that a Google Analytics event is fired.
It sends over
an event for our Contact Us form submit.
We can also see that in our analytics
itself under the real-time reporting see under events, an event was just recorded by
Google Analytics.
Now, you need to have that set up to continue.
If you don't have
that yet, then please go back to our video that I'm going to have linked up down
below as well.
Now what is new with this form is actually that we have a new form
field here the Company size.
And while we are not allowed to send any personal
identifiable information, like the name or the email address to Google Analytics, we
can send information that we can pick up from this form on to the tool.
Now, it would make less sense to send a message since that will be always different.
But standardized data like this drop-down menu, the company size would be really
great data to be able to segment our users later in Google Analytics or build an
audience of that we can target.
So how can we send that data over and actually pick
it up?
Well, as you remember, if you have the forms submit trigger installed, which
we have in Google Tag Manager, right here is our form Contact Us and the event type
form submission, the trigger will automatically detect when a form is submitted.
And
if checks our rules or trigger rules, filter rules that we have right here, then we
fire our event to Google Analytics and data is recorded.
Now, with that trigger, we
actually have certain variables filled.
So if you go over to the variable menu here,
we see our form element, classes, ID, Target, and so on have been filled.
We actually
use the form ID to fire our tag.
So only if that condition is true we fire our tag.
Now there's more information here.
You can see the classes, you can see the form
texts, which doesn't really make too much sense.
But there's also an interesting one,
which is the form element.
And here it says object HTML form element.
As you might
know, this is all data that is currently in the data Layer.
So let's go over to this
tab right here.
And here, we can find our form elements again.
This is actually
what's getting pushed to the data Layer when we submit a form.
So we have
gtm.elementclasses, which is translated into this form classes variable.
And we also
have our GTM.element, which still doesn't give us more information here.
So let's
look into the data Layer and the actual JavaScript object.
For that, we need to open
up our developer tools, here under more tools, we have our developer tools.
And here,
we can simply go to the console right here, and type in the words data Layer.
Now,
there needs to be a capital L, this is a convention how to write it, this is the
variable.
And when we click enter, we can actually see the data Layer, it's a bit
cryptic, we just need to press this triangle to open it up.
So here we can see the
actual events that happen, or the page the data Layer pushes that happened,
If you compare to our event menu here, we see message, page view, DOM ready, and so
on.
We have five messages here.
And in this case, we also have five, the number is a
bit different because array starts with the index zero.
Now, we want to particularly
look at this fifth one.
So the last one, which is the number four right here.
And this one has our GTM element in here, and a little bit more information.
So let's
open that up.
And we have some information here.
This is really what we also saw in
the data Layer.
Now, let's go to this GTM element and actually open that up, and it
gives us a host of information.
What does that actually mean?
Well, the data Layer is
actually filled with the event information of the form Submit.
So anything from
classes or the parent elements, the method hereof that data being transferred is also
in this element.
But the interesting part here is actually the input fields, because
you may have noticed this already, if I go and hover over them, we have a few signs
up here that this is actually activated.
Now, I want to particular look at the
company size here.
So I'm going to just scroll over and see right here.
I can find
that this element is probably our interest or company size drop down select field.
So
I want to take a look at this closer.
So I'm just going to open this up again.
And we
have again, more information here about this drop-down field.
We have the options,
all different information could be interesting, like what the idea of this input
field is, what the next sibling is, for example, and so on, and so on.
But if we look
at as closely and it's actually right at the bottom, we will find the actual value
that this element holds when we click on the submit button.
So in this case, it would
be small business.
So this is great because we can pull it out of this element, and
then transfer that into Google Analytics.
How would we do that?
Well, since this is
in the data Layer, we would need to use a data Layer variable.
So let's go over to
Google Tag Manager, click on variables here.
We're going to create a new user-defined variable.
This will be a data Layer variable
for our business size.
And as the configurations will choose our data Layer variable
right here.
And what do we put into the data Layer variable name?
We're going to use
the dot notation and it's pretty straightforward if you know the rules.
You just need
to look for the right elements.
In this case, it would be four, ignore this element
number four, as we will check any data Layer push if this is actually available.
Where we want to start is to look at what is in front of the colon here, gtm.element,
and we go down with see 14, and then we go down even further, which was
value.
Now if I hover over this value you already see 4 GTM element 14 value.
Again, ignore
the four we'll just go with the GTM element at the beginning.
Go over to Google Tag
Manager, input GTM element,
then with the dot notation, we'll dig deeper into this object, which would be the
number 14.
And then we're going to get our value.
Let's save this
and simply try it out.
Let's go back reload here,
going to put in another test
and send it off.
Let's choose corporate and send this off.
GTM form submit right here, and how that our data Layer variable gets filled with the
actual value of the input field.
Great.
So now we can use that data Layer variable to
fill in our missing pieces in our Google Analytics event tag.
Let's go over to Google
Tag Manager and tags will simply
edit our tag.
Here we have a category action.
And let's fill the label with our data
Layer variable business size.
Again, this is just like a placeholder, it will be
filled with whatever the user has chosen as his business size.
We can leave all the other configurations untouched.
If you want to configure this
again, then check out the video.
Let's save this, refresh.
Go back to our page.
Let's do this again,
fill out the form
and the message and choose a company size.
this sends us off.
Let's go over to Google Analytics and see if we have a new form Submit.
Here we go.
It just came in.
And if we click here on the form category, we see that the Contact
Us is now medium size business.
So this was correctly transferred.
Now obviously, you
can look at the data in a more comprehensive method later on.
Once you have a bit
more data in here, which is under the behavior reports under events, you will find
your Contact Us form submit.
Be aware that this takes a bit to gather the data and
display in these more comprehensive reports.
So there is no data in here right now.
But this is really how you could send over data to Google Analytics.
And if you
choose to segment the data later so only look at one or the other business size, you
could always add a segment here, and then build your own segment
that looks at the events that only have the label
small business size, for example.
And Google Analytics would only show you those,
which obviously doesn't quite work in my demo just yet because we don't have data in
here.
But this is how you could then use that data to segment your users in Google
Analytics.
But obviously, since we have implemented this in Google Tag Manager, we
don't only we are not restricted to Google Analytics, we could also send us over to
Facebook.
So if we had a Facebook event here, and I have prepared a Facebook event
that fires on our page view and tracks the lead, we could add some extra data here by
putting in a comma and a new object.
And then expanding that to say, we want to send over the attribute business size.
And I'm going to send over whatever is filled into our data Layer variable.
So in our
case, I'm going to open this up with the two curly brackets and choose my data Layer
variable that I have just created
right here.
Then I attach my usual trigger
and save this.
Refresh.
Let's try this out again.
Let's go back first,
fill that out.
Let's go with medium size, going to send us off.
Let's have a look at our Facebook
Pixel helper, we can see our lead was sent off with the custom parameters, business
size, Medium Business size, and this should then be transferred to our Facebook
Pixel.
We can have a look at the event debugging under the Facebook analytics section
here.
Here we go, event debugging.
No, somehow it doesn't want to show me the data.
I suspect that I haven't used this
test account for a long time.
So maybe it takes a while to populate this.
But
normally, you should see that under your event debugging panel here that there was a
new event with that data sent over.
So you can use that data as well as in the
Facebook Pixel.
And obviously, one other use case would be to use that variable in
the trigger itself.
So you could go into the trigger and say, I also want to have
another condition here where the business size needs to contain it needs to be a
small business, for example.
In which case your tags only would fire if that is
actually true.
So really versatile, once you know how to pull data out of your form
field, and then transfer that over to Google Tag Manager and use it in your tags and
triggers.
Don't forget, in the end, if you want to take this live, you need to submit
this as a version.
I want to press publish.
This will publish your version to the website in Google Tag
Manager.
So your data will be tracked for all users.
All right so there you have it.
This is how you can extract data from a form field
and forward it on to Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel or any other tracking
tool really.
Now I'd love to hear from you.
How would you use that data later on for
retargeting, for analysis, for different other things that I'm not aware of?
That's
why I want to hear from you in the comments down below.
And if you haven't yet done
consider subscribing right over there.
Also, click that bell notification icon.
So
you'll get a notification once we bring out a new video, which happens really every
week now.
My name is Julian till next time.

Google Pixel 3 hit by another leak and it reveals one of its biggest new features | Tech News - Duration: 2:17.
GOOGLE Pixel 3 has been seemingly struck by another leak that has revealed one of the
flagship's biggest new features ahead of its presumed October debut.
Google Pixel 3 could be one of the most popular Android phones of the year.
This is because the tech giant has been heavily rumoured to be planning a host of upgrades
to its latest Pixel hardware.
In addition to addressing fan concerns from previous devices, the Google Pixel 3 is also
expected to feature turbocharged internals, come with Android 9 Pie pre-installed, and
tout a new design.
As is tradition with the product line, the Google Pixel 3 is expected to come in two
models.
The standard Google Pixel 3 is rumoured to feature a 5.5-inch display while the larger
Pixel 3 XL is expected to come in at over 6-inches.
The latter has seemingly been plagued by a ton of leaks that appear to have lifted the
lid on some of its best new features.
An alleged Pixel 3 XL unit was recently unboxed by Mobile Review and was shown featuring a
controversial notch at the top of its display, a front-facing speaker and a signature rounded
fingerprint sensor on its rear.
A single camera was shown on the back of the hardware, hinting Google will once again decide
to forgo a system with multiple lenses this year.
But now it appears the Pixel 3 XL has leaked again and one of its biggest new features
may have just been revealed.
Android Police declared it was recently sent pictures of an alleged Pixel 3 XL from a reader
that claimed they found it in the back of a taxi.
The device was shown once again featuring a notch at the top and an all-screen design.
However images also showed the hardware with two camera sensors on its front.
Although this feature had been widely rumoured beforehand, the pictures give a very clear
look at the two front-facing lenses.
Speculation has pointed towards both cameras being eight megapixels in quality - it has
been rumoured both will intricately combine to help take more detailed Portrait Mode shots.
Google Pixel 3 was initially expected to be announced at a hardware event by the tech
giant on October 4.

Brief overview of changes to Google Classroom, Autumn 2018 - Duration: 8:26.
This is going to be a very quick crash
course in the changes to Google
classroom that have taken place over the
summer of 2018
there are many videos on YouTube that go
into much greater depth than I'm going to
go into, this is going to be very brief
but if you've come back into school
after the summer holidays in 2018 and
find that your Google classroom has
changed somewhat and you're wondering
what's going on then I hope this will be
useful to you. So if what we're going to
do first of all is look at changes to
classes that you set up before the
updates to Google classrooms so any
classes that you set up before the
summer holidays in 2018 I'm going to
open up one of my older classes and the
first thing you may notice is that the
three tabs at the top have changed to
two tabs so we used to have three tabs
they were Stream, Students and About and
now we have two tabs which are Stream
and people. The Stream tab is very
similar to the way it was before the
update and it's here that I can add
content and I can do that in the same
way as before by clicking on this plus
button and the bottom right and from
here I can add announcements, assignments
and questions. The people tab is where I
will find all my students and I can
invite more students with this invite
button here and also my teachers if I
want to add any co teachers to this
class I can use this invite button here.
I'm going to go back to my stream tab
and over on the right-hand side here we
will see there is an About link. If I
click on that I can see the name of my
class I can see the class code which I
can display by clicking on this Display
button should I want to do that and also
all the materials that I previously added
it in my About tab.
Another thing that's changed slightly is
that at the top here we have this
Settings button and if I click on the
Settings button we can access a lot of
the things that we used to find in our
About tab, so here I've got the name of
my class and the information about it
and I can edit it using this pen button
I've got my class code here and very
importantly this is where I change the
permissions and my students have to post
and comment on the stream so if I want
to change those permissions I can click
on the menu here and access one of those
three options. Here are the new class
materials that I previously added using
the About tab which of course is no
longer there and if I want to add class
materials I can use this link here. So
those are the main changes to classes
that were created before the Google
classroom update what I'm going to do
now is go on and show you what happens
to classes that you create since the
update has taken place, because they're
slightly different to before. So I'm now
going to open up a class that I've
created since the updates to Google
classroom and you'll see that we're back
to three tabs at the top but they're
slightly different to the way they were
before. We have the Stream tab, we have a
Classwork tab and we have the People
tab. The stream tab is slightly different
to the way it was before the update
because if I go down to the add content
button in the bottom right you can see
that I can only create an announcement
here so this I suppose is you could
describe as the place where the
conversation of the class takes place if
you enable it students can post to the
stream as you can through announcements
and students can comment on your
announcements and it's where the sort of
dialogue will take place. The people tab
as we said before is where you will see
your students I've only got one student
in this class but I can invite more
through the invite students button and I
can invite a co teacher through the
invite teachers button. If I want to show
the class code to my students to get
more to join I can find that by using
the Settings button at the top right
here
clicking on here and there is my class
code which I can display once again
using the menu here. My classwork tab is
now where, as the name suggests, I post my
work for the students to do. What's
different about this is that we no
longer have a button down in the bottom
right hand side for adding content, we
have this create button here which I'll
come back to in a moment, and also if I
want to access my folder in Google Drive
that stores all the work in this class
then I can access it through here and
this button takes me to the Google
Calendar for this class. If I click on my
create button I can see that I can add
assignments and questions I can also
reuse posts and when you use the reuse
post option you can reuse posts from any
class it doesn't have to be just from
this class any other class that you are
assigned to you can use posts from. I've
created a couple of assignments here
already and you'll notice that this
assignment is stored under this
Computing topic this is because I've
created a topic previously called
computing and through the classwork tab
you can create different topics and you
can organise all your work into these
topics and they're displayed very nicely.
So what I'm going to do is show you how
we do that I'm going to click on create,
choose topic and let's have a topic for
English and I'm going to click Add and
I've now now got a new
topic displayed and if I were to create
a new piece of work, let's quickly create
a question, "This is my
question" and we're going to give that
points out of 10 and let's just change
that to multiple choice and then choose
the topic here as 'English' before I click
'Ask' you can see that the question I've
just asked has gone nicely into my
English topic so I can arrange all my
work into different topics in this way
and it makes them much more organised.
Here's an assignment I created
previously that currently has no topic,
if I click on my three dots here and
choose 'edit' I can then assign one of my
topics to this assignment, let's choose
English for this one as well, click on
save and that has now been filed, so to
speak, under my English topic. Notice I
can now reorder these different
assignments or questions under this
topic so if I click on the three dots
here I can choose to move down and that
has reordered those pieces of work in my
English topic. I can also do that with my
topic so if I want to move English to
the top I can click on the three dots,
I can click on move up and that will
move that to the top of the Classwork
tab, so I can organize my work with much
more power than I had before the updates
were created. I should just point out as
well that the way you mark work and give
feedback on student work that's been
submitted through assignments has
changed slightly, not hugely but they've
improved the functionality of that. I'm
not going to go into that in this video
I'll create another video about that in
the future because it requires a little
more depth. Finally I'm going to go up to
the Settings button here at the top
right and as before this is where we can
change our title and information about
the class, I can view my class code, I can
change the permissions that the students
have to post or comment on to my
stream by clicking on this drop down
here and I've also got a couple of other
options there.
So that is a very, very brief overview of
the main changes to Google classroom
which took place over the summer of 2018

Pot, kettle: Russia warns Google against election 'meddling' - Duration: 5:11.
Pot, kettle: Russia warns Google against election 'meddling'
Pot, kettle: Russia warns Google against election 'meddling'.
Russia on Tuesday said it has officially warned US internet giant Google against "meddling" in next Sunday's local elections by hosting opposition leader Alexei Navalny's videos calling for mass protests.
Representatives of Russia's electoral commission, the prosecutor-general's office and the state internet watchdog alleged Navalny uses Google's services to disseminate illegal information and warned that the company may be prosecuted if it does not act to stop this.
A Google spokeswoman declined to give a specific comment, stating that the company "reviews all valid requests from government institutions".
Central Election Commission member Alexander Klyukin said the commission had sent an official letter to Larry Page, the CEO of Google's parent company Alphabet, regarding Navalny's use of YouTube.
Meddling by a foreign company in our election is not permitted Central Election Commission member Alexander Klyukin Navalny, a fierce Kremlin critic, has urged Russians to protest on September 9, when several Russian regions and Moscow elect regional and local officials.
Navalny is currently serving a 30-day sentence for violating public order laws during a protest earlier this year.
"Navalny buys the company's advertising tools to publish information on YouTube about the mass political event on September 9, on the day of elections," Klyukin said. "We informed Google that such events on election day will lead to massive violation of the law" because political agitation is banned on election day, he said.
"Meddling by a foreign company in our election is not permitted." He called Google a "gigantic American company" and hinted that Washington uses it as an influence tool.
US officials have repeatedly warned about the dangers of Russian interference in upcoming American elections and there is a full-scale probe under way into Moscow's alleged role in the 2016 presidential election which brought Donald Trump to office.
Navalny's close ally Leonid Volkov reacted to the officials' statements by saying that the Sunday rally is perfectly legal and doesn't violate election laws since its aim is not to campaign for a particular candidate.
The demonstration is to protest upcoming pension reforms, which will hike the retirement age by five years for women and three for men - a deeply unpopular measure that has caused a rare sag in Vladimir Putin's ratings.
YouTube is "the only channel to inform the masses" since Russian companies have rejected similar commercial requests to publish information about upcoming demonstrations, Volkov said.
"All levels of the Russian government.
have been ordered to block the protest by any means necessary," he wrote on Facebook.
The deputy chief of Russia's internet watchdog Roskomnadzor, Vadim Subbotin, accused "foreign internet platforms" of disrespecting Russian laws and serving as a "mouthpiece for disseminating illegal information".
He said Google-owned YouTube "acts as a link in the chain for propaganda of anti-social behaviour during Russian elections".
He said "over 40" YouTube channels "constantly call for violating Russian law".
"Certain parties interested in destabilising the situation in Russia attempt to attract internet users to illegal actions by providing unlimited opportunities on foreign internet giants like Google," he said.
If Google fails to respond to official complaints, this will be seen as "de-facto direct intervention in Russia's domestic affairs", he said.
Russia has long pushed for greater control of information published by Russian users on international platforms to curb political dissent and prevent terrorism.
