Youtube daily Instagram Sep 26 2018

hello guys and welcome back to another episode of news without further ado

let's jump into it now the first news we have Google well Google is changing its

algorithm well Google is making a bunch of changes to its search now Google is

celebrating its 20th year of search and they're making a bunch of changes to

their search algorithm Google held a small press conference in San Francisco

yesterday and after the press conference they made a blog post for the press

conference now according to Google the future of search is AI now ai stands for

artificial intelligence which means that computers can be trained as to how

humans think and present data to humans or to us when and where required now

Google has been under the bus recently regarding acquisitions that their

algorithms were politically bias now in that block force they say we see

billions of queries every day and about 15% of queries are ones we've never seen

before given the scale the only way to provide search effectively through an

algorithmic approach this helps us not just solve all the queries you've seen

yesterday but all the ones we can't anticipate for tomorrow during the press

conference they released a bunch of new changes to their search now on your

mobile devices you'll see much more of the search because those majority of

searches come not from desktop but for mobile phones that's the closest device

you have but you when you go into the Google search or on your mobile phone

devices Google will have a feed prepared for you which is which they are calling

the "discover". The discover would have relevant articles based on what you google from

time to time now Google is trying to push around the idea of taking users on

a journey rather than just giving the users all the search they require now

you can also classify your searches into collections which can be used upon your

request there's also going to be featured video cards which will show you

segments of videos based on your search they'll also be an enhanced video which

will give you much more than what you search for example if you're searching

for bugs they will not only give you information about bugs but they'll also

give you names for the pal the place where you can adopt of by bugs and even

how the Train pops all in all Google is trying to make it much more

easy for people to get addicted to the idea of searching on their platform but

what's my take on this guell Google is making it easier to get all the

information at your fingertips but at the same time it's recording thousands

and thousands of entries that it can use against you and in the end now

information like current location when you make the search the different things

you're searching at that location or other favorable information that Google

can or would want to share with their advertisers so the information can get

more monetized or probably even Google will try to get the ad where their

advertisements are into your search as well in the near future now in other

things we have new some Instagram the CEO and the CTO who are also the

founders of Instagram are stepping down from the company at the CEO Kevin

Systrom and and CTO michael Krieger I've resigned from their positions from

Instagram this news comes down Monday this Mike and Kevin notified the

Instagram and Facebook executors of this decision of leaving the company on into

a blog post made system confirms they tired the planning are taking some time

off explore their curiosity and creativity again and building new things

in order to do that they're planning to take a step back and see what inspired

them and match it with what the world needs and that's what they plan to do

this comes at a time when social media companies like Facebook and Instagram

have been criticized for not policing the current content enough on their

platforms and to spreading false news and rumors on the social media platforms

and the influence the US elections in 2016

now another awesome news we have a new video from tasty about the art of

homemade ice cream

we get a new Shawn Mendes trailer from Casey neistat, we

get a new trailer from Walt Disney Animation Studios offer Rob breaks the

internet and the best for the last and we get a trailer for the movie bumblebee

now moving on now in other news so company is being acquired

we have slack slack has acquired an email company called Astra they'll be

using axe Astros expertise to better incorporate

email into slack channels now according to slack the company has over 50 million

channels and with this new acquisition be making it easy for more teams to

collaborate with each other now slack is a very important tool for business

communication now Astor on the other hand emailing up and

they launched their slack plugin last year in which users could integrate the slack

communication the email and calendars together and with this new acquisition

slack would be able to integrate it without a plugin now the bad news for

the Astra users is that they will be shutting down all the Astra services for

the existing slack users the 10th of October let's see what the future of

communications has for us kids now the last and final story we have is from

Walmart now Walmart is using blockchain technologies for its leafy green now

with the blockchain system that has been developed by IBM for one month it will

help the company track shipment of its produce now this will help them securely

distribute ledger and be able to track the vegetable spot from the farm to the

stock this isn't Walmart's internal benefit either it'll help the final

consumers that's when we walk into one of these stores and can the bag and use

blockchain to find when and find where of spinach has been grown now the

company's asked its suppliers to start integrating blockchain into their

systems and by next year the same month September 2019 the company wants all

their suppliers to be integrated on their block chain now this will have the

company's feed up their recall process and potentially save people from getting

sick this news comes at a time when a lot of companies have been trying to

find new ways to become more legitimate to their end consumers and by using the

blockchain technologies Walmart's taking one step towards the future of becoming

more legitimate or or offering more information about a particular product

to the consumers which time I think more and more companies will start

integrating different solutions from the blockchain technology into the lives of

their consumer more easy to access and now that's it for today thank you so

much for watching if you do like this video don't forget to leave a thumbs up

right below if you do like this video they don't forget to check out the

previous one which is linked right up there

if you not subscribe don't forget to subscribe right up there now thank you

How To Build the RIGHT Instagram Audience - Duration: 4:01.

Hello, beautiful people.

Happy Tuesday, and welcome back to my channel.

My name is Ortal Levitan, AKA the Workout Unicorn on all social media platforms.

So today, we are going to talk about a topic that I love talking about, and this is your

demographic, your audience.

I get this question a lot, "Does it actually matter what kind of people follow your page?

Are numbers just numbers?

If you have 100,000 followers, does that mean that you're just as good as everybody else

that has 100,000, or are you better than people that have 1,000?"

Let's break it down today.

As always, if you enjoy my channel, make sure to subscribe and hit that little bell so that

you are notified whenever I post a new video, and if you enjoy this video, make sure to

give it a thumbs up and drop a comment below to show your support.

All right, without further ado, let's get into it.

Okay, so your audience is essentially made up of men and women.

In this discussion, I'm not actually going to consider spam accounts, or bots, or anything

like that.

Let's just assume they don't exist on Instagram, and you only have men and women on different

ages.

Now, the strength of your audience and the quality of your audience actually depends

on your niche and who it is you're trying to target.

So for example, if I were to take a fitness entrepreneur, an online coach, that tries

to target women between the ages of 20 to 35.

That is her ideal sweet spot target demographic, because all of her products and her offerings

are geared toward these people.

Now, let's say she has 100,000 followers on Instagram, but 87% of her following are men.

87% are men.

13% are women.

So, out of her following, she has 100,000 people, only 13,000 are actually women, which

are her target demographic.

Now, let's narrow that even further.

Of those 13,000 women, the 13% women on her account, I would say only about 20% of that

are actually in the age range that she's looking for, 20 to 35 year olds.

The rest are either too young or too old.

That means that out of 100,000 followers, only 2,600 of those people are within her

target demographic.

Do you see what I mean when I say that the followers that you have, the kind of them,

actually matters?

Because if she launches an offering now, she's thinking, "Oh, I have 100,000 followers."

Well, not really, because your offering only appeals to 2,600 people, and out of those

2,600 people, in order for them to actually buy or sign on with you, you have to make

sure that you build a connection and you build a trust with them, to the point where they're

willing to pull out their credit card and support you.

Let's say we have another fitness coach, and his target demographic is actually men ages

18 through 35, and he doesn't have 100,000 followers.

He only has, I would say, about 5,000 followers, but of those 5,000 followers, 80% of them

are men, 80% of those men are within his target demographic, so you see how, from 5,000 followers,

80% of them are his target demographic.

He's already beat the fitness coach that has 100,000 followers, because he has more of

his following in his target demographic, in his target age, and they're more likely to

purchase from him, because his offering actually appeals to them.

So you got to see how the type of followers that you have and who follows your account

is actually really important.

So like I said before, and I'm going to say this again, Instagram is not just a numbers

game, guys.

Remember, at the end of the day, the whole point that we want to grow a following and

build a tribe is so that we can build an online business and make it successful, so the kind

of followers that we have, the kind of people we attract to our page, actually matters.

So if you don't have 10,000 or 100,000 followers, don't be bummed out.

As long as the majority of your followers are within your target demographic, within

the age, and they're interested in your niche, you're much better off than a lot of people

that have a larger account with an audience that is not at all interested in what they

have to offer, and only follows them for pretty pictures or whatever.

I hope this helped, guys, and I hope it made sense.

As always, if you enjoyed this video, make sure to give it a thumbs up and drop a comment

below, just to show your support, a, "Hey, great job.

Love the topic," anything like that really, really helps, and I will see you guys next

Tuesday.

How To Unsend a Message on Instagram 😱 - Duration: 2:10.

[Woman Speaking] hey everyone. this is gonna be a quick video. I just wanted to come through and

tell you how you can unsend a message on Instagram. so this feature has

been around for a while, but I just thought it would be good to share it

with my subscribers who may not have used it yet or anyone else who might be

interested. and I actually had to do this a couple of days ago. so if you ever want

to unsend a message on Instagram - for example, like with me - I was trying to

send something to my story and sometimes I click a little too fast and I ended up

sending it to one of my followers by accident and so, I went into my direct

messages and I thought I was gonna have to send that person a message saying, you

know, "sorry. my bad. I didn't mean to send that to you. I was trying to send

that to my story." however, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I could

unsend the message and it's really easy. all you have to do is go into your

direct messages and find the conversation that contains the message

that you want to unsend. and when you click into that conversation - and just a

side note real quick - this is for iPhone users. it may work on other devices

however, I have an iPhone so (you know) this is how I was able to do it. all I

had to do was go to the message that I wanted to unsend and press that message

and wait until you see the "unsend" option pop up. once it pops up, all you have to

do is click "unsend" and it's as simple as that.

so it's really easy. I think it's a cool feature. I'm glad that we have

it. again, it has been around for a while but (you know) I just wanted to share that

and that's it. so thanks for watching. feel free to check out some of my other

videos and make sure you subscribe to my YouTube channel and you can also follow

me on Instagram if you'd like @smithsightsphoto . thanks, bye!

Your Instagram Strategy: Basic or Bust? - Duration: 11:09.

Instagram has added so many features with Stories and Highlights and IGTV and

Instagram Live that if you're a small business owner who has been trying to

use Instagram for your business, you might be feeling like, "Is it even worth

it anymore?" "I can't do all of those things so is it

not going to be effective for me?" That's what we're gonna discuss in this video

because at this point there's kind of almost a tiered approach to how to

utilize Instagram. The good news is Instagram has become a very deep

platform because there are all these different ways to help your

business, help your brand grow and extend your reach and your awareness through

the app, but the flip side is you know it started as a simple photo and video

sharing app and now it's just so involved so for some people - if

Instagram is your primary form of social media or even your sole form a social

media for your business - you might be rejoicing because there's all these

different ways that you can use this app now to make sales and the extend

your reach and grow your brand and those kinds of things. But if you are like a

lot of other small business owners who may be - you know - it kills them just to go

ahead and take some regular photos to put out in the feed on a regular basis

you might really be questioning if Instagram is still right for you. The

way that I think you can realistically approach Instagram so that it's still

effective for your small business would be... 1. You can take a very standard

approach. You can think of doing the best with the Instagram of the old. You still

can do a great job and be very effective just by posting photos and videos to

the regular feed, utilizing well researched hashtags, putting in

engagement with those that you follow on Instagram and engagement that when

you're filtering by people who use

the same hashtags that you do and you're trying to engage with people that way,

you can still do great things for your small business just by like the basics

of Instagram. I would recommend obviously utilizing hashtags, researching

the hashtags are utilizing, but also installing something like link tree. Link

tree is free and I have a blog post on it so if you're interested in it just

leave me a comment and I can give you that that blog post. Link tree is helpful

because the one big challenge with Instagram is that for an individual post

you can't directly link it elsewhere so you know sometimes people will put a

link or a shortened link in the caption of that regular posts their regular

photo or video, but it's not clickable. So when you direct people to say link in

bio when you use something like Link tree, you replace what that link is in

your Instagram bio that, when clicked, it opens to sort of a mini landing page

that has multiple links on it so it's a great way to send people to a new blog

post, to send people to certain products that you sell, certain services that you

have or anywhere else on your website so something like Link tree can

really make - regardless of your Instagram strategy - can make your Instagram

strategy far more effective. So if you're the small business owner who is like hey

I can't do all the things just stick to focusing on posting photos and videos

and using your hashtags and engaging with others who use your same hashtags

for as part of your Instagram strategy. Now if you really want to beef up your

Instagram strategy or you feel like Instagram is your strongest platform or

your sole platform, that's when you're really gonna want to be like, "okay

I gotta get serious about using the Stories. I gotta get serious

about creating Highlights which are former Stories that reside permanently

on your profile and I really need to be thinking about creating videos that will

reside forever after on my IGTV channel. You can also go live on Instagram just

like we're going live right now on Facebook.

You can go live on YouTube. You can go live on Twitter. There's places to go

live so Instagram is just one more option for that. So Stories are photos or

videos that only last for 24 hours and then they disappear. You do have to

create that Story before you can have something to add to your Highlights

because your Highlights are created from those former Stories so before you can

really be building your Highlights you do need to plan for those Stories and

then once those Stories are published you can add them to your Highlight. So

different businesses utilize their Highlights different ways but it's

basically a way to group together like things and then they are highlighted on

your Instagram profile when someone visits that your profile listing. Some

people might want to highlight like different services that they offer or

categories of products that they offer you might want to say you know here's a

highlight that features like customers or customer testimonials or examples of

happy customers if say you you're a stylist and you're showing

before-and-after pictures of hair if you did color for somebody. You

might have another Highlight that's the people behind your business.

You might have another Highlight of where you get your inspiration from or

books you recommend. There's so many different ways that you can do

Highlights but Highlights are kind of nice little organized categories of

things that represent your business in some way, whether it's more of a

lifestyle way of branding your business or a very practical like here's what I

sell, here's my blog post, here's what I'm all about,

here's the people who work for me. Then when you get into the your IGTV

it's kind of like Instagram slash Facebook since Facebook owns Instagram

their version of a YouTube the thing is it only resides within Instagram so it's

not searchable from the outside like how YouTube is but you can have your own IG

TV channel and you have to pre-record those videos and then you would upload

the video file to your IGTV and then you can give

it a name and you can add a description and you can put a clickable link in

those IG TV video descriptions to send people elsewhere then if you really want

to get involved you need to organize all of these things in a nice little row

because you can do Stories which then you utilize for Highlights but you can

do Stories that then pump up people to watch your IGTV video and obviously you

want to still be utilizing your feed so you can do your feed which pushes to

your Stories let's push this to your IGTV video and then that's where you can

then send people off. If you have 10,000 or more followers, which most

small businesses don't, you get the cool swipe up feature with your Stories but

most people don't have that yet so that isn't something that the average account

can use but it is something including that clickable link is something that's

a benefit of IGTV so that would be one more reason to consider making those IG

TV videos. For myself, personally, once I go live on Facebook since I have my hair

and makeup done I'll just grab my phone right when I'm done I can go live on

Instagram afterwards or then record for IGTV. So if you are wanting to do more

video on Instagram, you might just figure - hello Shelley - you might just figure that

you want to go ahead and do that as part of your other video productions.

so just as a recap, Instagram it can feel overwhelming for those small business

owners. You can stick to just the basics but you can also go ahead and pump it up

more if you want. Let me see if I can go ahead and now that I'm playing around

with adding Shelley's comment to this screen... one of those new things... one of

those things that I love about Ecamm, there's all these fun things you can do

So you can just stick to the basics with your Instagram or you can go ahead

and try to rev it up and you can try to play around with both things like maybe

you want to do enough Stories just so that you have those

Highlights but the Stories isn't something that's going to be

part of your tactical plan on a regular basis. A lot of people who do do Stories

they want to utilize it more like a behind the scenes and so they're less

staged, less pretty, more off-the-cuff. So if you are a small business owner who

wants to try doing more besides just the basics of the stuff that's in the reach

that could be a great place to start where you're just gonna start taking

more pictures throughout the day and push those to your Stories so you can at

least see how those work. When you get into the stories, you can see you can add

text to them and you can add hashtags and some other cool stuff like that but

utilizing Stories and Highlights - it's a completely different Instagram strategy

so like I said we just really want to help those small business owners who are

seeing all these new things that have come in from Instagram so that they

don't feel so overwhelmed anymore. So Shelley asks, "You can do comment

pop-ups with Ecamm now?" You can! Isn't that awesome? I love my Ecamm. "I'm trying

to do better at Stories myself." I know because the thing is with the Stories

because it's a continuous thing - a continuous 24-hour thing - you have to

keep doing it and keep doing it, so that's one challenge too for the people

who want to make the really lovely Stories where you have the templates.

Easil is a platform that will give you templates so that you could do - say -

like a four-part story or a five-part Story.

Those are great to use if you want to be really deliberate within building a

Highlight because then when someone's looking at the Highlight, the Highlight

is all themed and templated. It looks all pretty but I think for the average small

business owner it's hard to mess around with that on a regular basis because

you know you're only one person and unless the only thing you're doing is

Instagram, there's just so many things that are part of Instagram now that it's

hard to put that much thought and work and time and creativity in it to keep up

with all that stuff. So yes! So if you all have any questions or if you feel like

you want to know if the smaller amounts of things you're

doing on Instagram are enough, please go ahead and leave those in the comments

below. If not, you all have a good rest your day. Bye!

Instagram Co-Founders Resign from Facebook Amid Rumors of Clashes with Mark Zuckerberg - News today - Duration: 3:13.

Social media always causes drama — even for the people who created it.  According to a statement on Instagram's press site, Monday, the popular app's co-founders, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, are resigning from their positions as CEO and CTO six years after the image-sharing app was purchased by Facebook for $1 billion

While the goodbye note penned by Systrom, 34, offers little reason for the departure, it does say that he and Krieger, 32, are "grateful for the last eight years at Instagram

"  Systrom continued: "We've grown from 13 people to over a thousand with offices around the world, all while building products used and loved by a community of over one billion

We're now ready for our next chapter. We're planning on taking some time off to explore our curiosity and creativity again

"  The statement concluded, "We remain excited for the future of Instagram and Facebook in the coming years as we transition from leaders to two users in a billion

"  Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook's founder, responded to the news in a statement shared on Twitter

"Kevin and Mike are extraordinary product leaders and Instagram reflects their combined creative talents

I've learned a lot working with them for the past six years and have really enjoyed it," he wrote from the official Twitter account for Facebook

"I wish them all the best and I'm looking forward to seeing what they build next

"  Recode reported that Systrom's and Krieger's exit follows alleged fights with Zuckerberg, 34, namely over product changes, including commenting features and how to share content across platforms

According to TechCrunch, the issue was whether Instagram should operate autonomously from Facebook in general

"[Facebook's Chief Product Officer Chris Cox] and [Systrom] never really got along," a source claimed to the outlet

The statement on the Instagram press site does not mention Zuckerberg nor any other influential Facebook execs, such as Sheryl Sandberg

The major staffing change comes during a challenging time for Facebook, which is facing user privacy concerns and negative feedback for its involvement in the 2016 election

What's more, the social media giant is distinctly less popular with younger generations than its photo-heavy counterpart

Sources told Bloomberg that without its creators, Instagram will likely start to feel like more of an extension of Facebook rather than a separate social media service

Instagram declined to comment further to PEOPLE.
