We hope his performance is as flawless as his skin is in the trailer.

Aww... so naive!

After a disappointing British accent in Sanju, Anushka Sharma looks truly committed to her

role in Sui Dhaaga.

Yet just like Varun Dhawan we believe that she also looks too polished to be Mamta.

We think that they could've picked perhaps someone who looks more the part someone like Radhika Apte.

We all love an underdog's movie, don't we!

Varun Dhawan goes from bad job to no job to creating jobs.

The movie asks How far is too far?

Mamta inspires Mauji to create a self-sustaining business instead of working

a job where he's humiliated.

We're all crazy until we do it right?

From Gandhi's Swadesi to Modi's Make in India, now a big budget Bollywood film's

"Made in India".

In fact Sui Dhaaga released a logo instead of posters on National Handloom Day, compiled

by artisans from all over India.

The national award winning producer director duo Manish Sharma and Sharat Kataria are back

with another unique script after Dum Laga ke Haisha's successful originality.

 Royal watchers may be disappointed to hear that it's unlikely Kensington Palace will release any official portraits of Prince George starting school this year

George, five, goes back to school on Thursday, and while his first day of Reception was captured by photographers last year, press have not been invited to cover this week's event

's royal correspondent Emily Nash explains: "Prince George's time at school is private and although the Duke and Duchess shared an image from his first day at primary school last year, they won't do it every year

"  Just like his time at nursery in Norfolk, William and Kate chose to release a set of portraits of George attending his first day at Westacre Montessori in January 2016, but didn't release any official photos in subsequent years

Royal tradition seems to dictate that children are pictured on their very first day of school, but aren't photographed in following years

There are only a handful of photos of Prince William and Prince Harry from their school days

 But royal watchers need not despair. The next time George and Charlotte are expected to be seen in an official capacity is next month on Friday 12 October, when they attend Princess Eugenie's wedding in Windsor

Although not confirmed, there is speculation that George and three-year-old Princess Charlotte will act as a pageboy and bridesmaid, just like they did for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big day in May

Their baby sibling Prince Louis is too young to take part but it's likely he will be nearby on the day with his mum Kate

His first day back may be a little scary – meeting a new teacher and settling into a new classroom, but some things will remain the same, such as his school uniform, his classmates and his friends

In Reception, George dabbled with French, Computing, Art, Music, Drama and Ballet, but the new year will introduce additional subjects such as Science, History, Geography, Maths, English and PE

The school curriculum also states that Year One pupils will be taught the days of the week, months of the year, numbers to twenty, common colour words, their names and addresses as well as the name and address of the school

Three Things We Learned from Cardiff City v Arsenal; We Hurt Ourselves - Duration: 7:54.

Arsenal continued to build on their previous win, with another one against Cardiff City

Arsenal fans were delighted as Arsenal garnered an away win, which has become something of a rarity in these parts but, there were moments we can learn from and build on

With that said let's look at the three things we learned from Cardiff City v Arsenal

Individual Errors Are Killing Us.When Unai Emery was appointed many pointed out that if he could organize our defensive play, that in itself would be well worth the appointment

4 games in and Arsenal are still conceding goals at an alarming rate. However, its not a systemic issue as it is individual errors from the players themselves

Yesterday's match was no different as both goals came about from poor decisions by individual players

Camarassa's first goal was a result of a poor decision and poor pass by Xhaka trying to hit Bellerin with a diagonal ball as the Spanish fullback raced up the side

Yet, in front of him was Guendouzi, as a simple option that could've still resulted in putting the ball out wide into the path of the streaking Bellerin

The poor pass (and poor decision) led to a turn over that had Arsenal out of position to defend the goal

The cross into the box was defendable but Monreal first pushes Camarasa and his momentum carries him to far past him to recover and it results in a quality shot by Cardiff's forward

On the second goal Monreal, originally has Ward covered. He travels slightly with him to the inside and lets him go

I suspect he was thinking someone would pick him – like Guendouzi who at that point is deep in the box just in front of the two centerbacks

Guendouzi doesn't react and when Monreal sees that no one has picked him, he's behind Ward who essentially as a free header to goal

Again, individual errors, In that case no communication between the two players who had the best chance to defend Ward on the header

At some point questions are going to be asked of both the players making the individual errors and of the coach's inability to coach those errors out of his players

There is a grace period for the coach. These aren't his players for the most part and they may be unable to understand what the coach wants them to do

For now, the blame still has to reside with the players. For now.Mesut Özil looked lost until the 2nd Half

I don't want to question too much of what Emery is doing. He is still unsure, at least so far, of who his best XI are

However, I'm still wondering why persisting of keeping Özil in a wide role.Now before I go on, let me say, Emery's system is a little different than Arsene's 4-2-3-1

Width in attack comes primarily from the full backs. The 7 and 11 (wide forwards) tuck in and support the striker but is still not playing to Mesut's strengths

In two games, against City and yesterday against Cardiff, Mesut started out wide and wasn't really involved the play

His touches were poor, and his vision seemed to be lacking. However, in both those games Emery adjusted and freed up Özil to roam more

Yesterday, Özil was freed up in the 2nd half to drop a little deeper and float in between the lines rather than adhere to the wide play

He started to see the ball more and began to influence play.It wasn't vintage Özil, but it was better Özil and its what we need to see more of

Additionally, his overall work rate improved, and he was putting on pressure and even trying to win the ball more and was more effective in all phases of play

But there is still room to improve.Hopefully, the interlull affords Özil some time to get his head screwed on

I am still of the mind that a lot of Özil's poor play is down to his own mental state brought on by his international retirement announcement

Frankly, it always seemed like an ill-timed statement to make. I know he took the time to think about it but the statement and the flak it created in its wake feels like it has affected him some

My hope is that some further time away from the game plus maybe a few extra sessions with the coaching staff will help him before the next match versus Newcastle

Petr Cech and playing out of the back, not perfect together.The City match nearly gave us a heart attack against a quality team as we tried to play out of the back and Petr Cech fumbled his way through that

We thought it was improving over the last two matches but then yesterday occurred and well, let's just say, you can't teach an old dog new tricks

Petr Cech is not a keeper who can play out of the back. That much is easy to see. He looks uncomfortable with the ball at his feet and always seems to be never prepared for it when it comes in from his centerbacks

Add to that some poor vision and poor passing and you've got a real recipe for disaster that sooner or later will hurt us

It almost occurred in the 7th minute yesterday when he took a pass from Sokratis and played it straight up the center finding Arter instead of Guendouzi

He missed the call by Sokratis to play it up and nearly gifted Cardiff a chance to take the lead early

Emery said in the run up to this match that after the international break additional players would be seeing time

Given the plethora of mistakes Cech is making in terms of playing out of the back – a style of play Emery wants – you wonder if Leno is going to start seeing some time – especially in the Europa cup where he can establish himself

Whatever the case, you can't see Cech staying in as the number 1 for a full season

Extra take.Lucas Torreira is the real deal. He has had an instant impact every time he has come on the pitch and yesterday was no different

He finished with 26 passes, a 100% pass completion rate, 6 duels won, 3 tackles, 2 recoveries, and 1 assist

How we make The Golden Apple: Animation

My name is Stanislav Tsvetkov. I've been working with 2D animation for nearly 15 years.

Currently I am the lead animator for Studio Zmei and The Golden Apple project.

There's eight of us in total working on the pilot episode. Five of us work together in a studio

and the other three work part time from home.

Here are the stages that a scene goes through: first we receive the scene including a storyboard, animatic,

sound and music, if it's needed for that scene.

The stages that each scene goes through depend on the category of the scene.

There are three categories of scenes – A, B and C.

The C category includes the easiest scenes,

The B category includes scenes of medium difficulty

and A category includes the most difficult scenes.

C-scenes are the easiest ones, they can take as little as 3 hours to finish.

The most difficult A-scenes can take up to three days.

1. Planning stage

The most complicated scenes (the A-scenes) first go through a stage of planning by the animator.

The animator needs to see what the scene will look like visually.

For this purpose, they make a few very quick and rough, tiny sketches to help visualise the look of the scene.

The idea of the animator personally acting out the scene

is so that they can assume the role of the character they are animating.

This allows them to translate the character's "acting" as truly as possible.

After this "playthrough" of the scene, the animation itself can start.

A video of this is inserted into the program and is used as a reference for the rough draft of the animation.

2. Rough animation

The rough animation consists of marking the main positions in the scene.

When necessary, we also add intermediate drawings –

these indicate the trajectory of the movement from key frame to key frame.

The purpose of the rough animation and these drawings is to make the scene look as realistic as possible.

3. Final animation

After the rough animation stage is done, the scene is reviewed,

and if it's approved by the director, it passes on to the next stage.

The scene is then given to the assistant animator.

They use the character that has been prepared in the animation software

and start cleaning up the animator's rough drawings.

The pilot episode contains about 260 animated scenes which all go through the stages we discussed.

The length of each scene varies between 1 and 10 seconds.

1 second consists of 25 frames and for these 25 frames we need to create a minimum of 12 drawings.

For the drawings we either use software – after all, we're making digital animation,

or we draw them manually.

This depends on how complex the scene is.

The simplest and easiest scenes are animated entirely with software

while in the medium and most difficult ones, many of the drawings are done manually.

The fact that we use software

doesn't mean that things happen automatically without the animators' involvement.

Even when we use software, the animator is heavily involved.

In order to use the software's advantages in generating animation frames,

each character is specially prepared by the technical team of The Golden Apple

in a format that the animators can use with the software.

Once a scene is done, it needs to be reviewed.

The director can approve it or return it for corrections, which adds extra time to this stage.

At 34-33, the distance between the lower ornament and the collar increases. This part over here is what I mean.

Show that again.

(character speaks off-screen) In general, his collar is floating a bit at times.

I feel like it's been like that before.

When his neck moves forward, the collar suddenly rises.

And there's a bit where…

Actually, I think that's the main thing. Everything else is very minor.

(people talking over each other)

His collar jumps at 70, too.

The hand is great.

Yeah, the hand is great.

It's very fluid, he bends it very well on model, and he has these nice curves at the elbows.

My favourite character is Bran.

He's super expressive, neurotic – he's a bit like me.

Not completely, but at times we are alike.

Why (and How) we Learn Other Languages - Duration: 7:22.

As we head back into the school season, at least in the US, many students will have to

fulfill their two years of foreign language, which many of them will move on, and forget

about.

Learning a language is hard, and for many, it might even seem pointless, but not only

is learning another language a key to a bigger part of the world, it's also really good

for your mind.

And besides, it's not like it's that hard, right?

Okay, bad example.

Why do we learn languages that aren't our own?

Travel?

Making friends in a local community?

Acting pretentious whenever the name of something foreign is brought up [call an Über]?

Well, perhaps, those are all valid reasons, but regardless, a lot of people just… don't

seem to be able to learn another language.

But why?

Now, in this video, I'll be talking more to my Anglosphere audience, as most of you

in continental Europe probably don't need to be told how to learn a second language,

let alone why.

A likely reason for this is because of how much more linguistically diverse Europe is

than North America or Australia, where you can pretty much get away with just English.

So, to someone from those countries, it might not seem as if there's much of a reason

to go to the effort of learning another language, and indeed, with more and more people in more

and more places learning English anyway, it might even be harder, as opportunities to

learn other languages shrink.

But that doesn't mean English speakers should just give up and wait for everyone else to

learn English…

Mom, just in case you're watching.

First off, that's kind of rude.

Second, there are about 1.5 billion English speakers out there, just 360 million of which

are native speakers, which sounds (and indeed is) impressive, but you remember how the world

population is kind of bigger?

It turns out, the world population is more around 7.5 billion, about equivalent to the

population of every country put together.

So that's around 6 billion people who still don't speak English, and though there are

3-7 thousand other languages that people speak, which sounds daunting, it's not like you'll

have to learn thousands of languages and dialects just to talk to a majority of the world's

population.

More like 10 or 20, but still.

Also, there are still more than plenty of pockets of the world where you really can't

rely on your English, like here in Berlin, where the S- and U-Bahn announcements rarely

have English translations, so if you don't speak any German at all, good luck in this

situation!

By the way, if you want to pick up some quick German right now, the announcer said that

Languages are an incredibly useful tool for cross-cultural communication, but they're

also a great way to think in a way you normally wouldn't.

For example, in languages like English and German, we have the directional words "left"

and "right", but also the accuracy-measuring words "wrong" and… "right", so if

you're right-handed, or your country drives on the right side of the road, is it the right

side, or the "right" side?

Okay, sure, they're not always good thoughts, but that was just an example, since plenty

of other languages don't draw a comparison to these words in this way.

In fact, speaking multiple languages can help with pathfinding, problem solving, and task

switching, which, if you have to switch between multiple languages on a regular basis, probably

isn't too surprising.

In fact, before the 1960's, it was thought that bilingualism was more of a handicap for

kids who had to speak more than one language, as they would have to remember more words

for the same things.

Don't worry, though, those studies were completely wrong.

Learning another language can even delay the onset of Alzheimer's and Dementia, but I

would definitely recommend this video from Joanna Hausmann for more info on that (actually,

I linked a bunch of good videos to watch in the description below).

There was another thing I think was important to talk about here: machine translations,

specifically what CGP Grey said in his first Q&A, when he only had 500.000 subscribers

(they grow up so fast!), specifically, where he said he would trade out the foreign language

classes for computer programming, slightly sarcastically justifying it with how good

computers will get us a decent universal translator, anyway.

At best, I'm skeptical about this notion.

There's a reason why Google Translate doesn't always work out so well, despite being one

of the best in the world, mainly things like cultural things, and sentences that strongly

rely on context, which the user rarely gives, let's be honest.

Human language, perhaps unsurprisingly, is a very, well… human thing, and every language

(at least every naturally-formed language) has minor inflections, exceptions, and taboos

that speakers kind of just have to know about, and can vary, depending on context.

Will the computers outpace us someday, and actually create a perfectly accurate universal

translator?

Perhaps, AI is getting better and faster day-by-day, and are definitely destined to do better at

tasks that we could ever do, but I wouldn't give up any languages courses to wait for

that to happen.

Now, I realize there are probably a lot more of you interested in how to learn another

language, rather than why you should, which is definitely a good question.

Okay, let's have a bit of real talk here.

I really don't want to turn this video into some kind of advice video, like "7 Amazing

Tips to Learning Languages that You Won't Believe!", or something like that.

However, any tips for learning a new language, whether they be to practice often, or to spend

a year abroad speaking the language, they all revolve around one central component.

It's really the same advice I'd give to anyone wanting to start a YouTube channel.

One word: persistence.

I mean, let's say you want to learn Turkish; just ask yourself, why?

(And then ask yourself "neden", because that's good practice!)

But is it because it sounds kind of cool?

Well, it does, and maybe that might motivate you to learn through all the grammar, but

learning a language takes time.

At best, total fluency takes years.

I can speak Spanish and German, not fluently, I will admit, but enough to sustain a good

conversation.

But why?

Well, my dream is to study here in Berlin, and back in Portland, Spanish is actually

a really useful language!

What I'm saying is, it's not always opportunities to learn languages that help, but interest

and a good enough reason to motivate you to endure all those years of learning.

However, what they say about total immersion is absolutely true.

Now, if all of this just doesn't sway you, and you, for whatever reason, just don't

want to, or can't, learn another language, that's fine!

Seriously, I'm not here to shame you, or anything, for being monolingual.

I also think you probably just haven't been trying hard enough, but that doesn't make

you a bad person, or anything.

What I'm really saying is that learning another language is always worth a shot, and

if you still, for the life of you, just don't want to, that's still fine.

Unless it's because of racism, but that's seriously a whole new problem.

But we are not gonna ride, whats going on?

Jeroen: True. We are going to polish the bikes

Jeroen: Getting the bikes back to most likely original state

Jeroen: This is my 1992 Honda CBR600F

Jeroen: It is my daily motorcycle and I also use it for track riding

Jeroen: I only had one track day on it

Jeroen: But I try to wash this bike once a week

Jeroen: Washing it thoroughly

Jeroen: And I got a 2002 Fireblade 954

Jeroen: And I'm now polishing this bike

Jeroen: To get it in the best condition there is

Anne: How come you got into washing and detailing bikes?

Jeroen: It is from the time I was into cars

Jeroen: I used to love cars

Jeroen: And I used to wash my cars on a almost daily basis

Jeroen: once or twice in a week. And then I got my motorcycle license

Jeroen: and I kept the same 'habit' to keep my bikes clean

Anne: But you also wash and polish other peoples bikes?

Jeroen: Yes. I recently got into this business

Jeroen: There aren't a lot of people who like the job

Jeroen: But I do like it!

Jeroen: I don't mind what kind of bike. From cruisers to enduro bikes

Jeroen: Supersport to naked bike. I love it all!

Jeroen: Send all the bikes, I like to do it!

Anne: I think it is a grateful job

Anne: You can see your hard work pays off to something beautiful

Jeroen: True. It is a grateful job

Anne: Did you had a bike recently who was really a pain in the ass to clean?

Jeroen: Last time i did a full cleaning and detailing on my father in law is bike

Jeroen: He got a Kawasaki Versys 650

Jeroen: you can reach out to everything on the bike but yet also not everything...

Jeroen: When I put the bike on my lifting table..

Jeroen: ..you'll see a lot of thing you missed out on the first time washing it

Jeroen: And that costs a lot of time

Jeroen: So now thinking about it, i know how hard some bikes will be to clean thoroughly

Anne: You did not think it was that much work

Jeroen: but on the average it is about 3 hours

Jeroen: Of fully washing the bike

Jeroen: that is also preparation

Jeroen: Washing the bike is almost the most important thing for completely detailing the bike with polish or wax

Jeroen: And to polish the bike it is about

Jeroen: 7 to 8 hours. Maybe more

Jeroen: It is all up to the costumer's wishes and want I think is best for the bike

Anne: I admire your patience and passion for it

Jeroen: I think it is the most important thing to fulfill this job

Jeroen: Throughout the years you learn more about the job

Jeroen: for example how sometimes you can scratch the bike with washing and stuff

Jeroen: Getting more knowledge about the techniques

Jeroen: I'm not washing my bike after every ride anymore, but i used to

Jeroen: But every week one of the bikes get fully washed

Jeroen: There is one thing

Jeroen: what i see people doing wrong while washing their bike

Jeroen: frequently washing your bike is what I can recommend, for sure!

Jeroen: It is important to keep your bike neat

Jeroen: If your bike is getting more greasy and oily on some places..

Jeroen: That will never do your bike any good..

Jeroen: But the most common mistake i see

Jeroen: Is seeing people to use the high-pressure water sprayer on parts of the bike where..

Jeroen: ..you don't want to get any dirt on.. It will harm your bike

Jeroen: I almost love it more than riding bikes

Jeroen: Eventually it is all about riding, but i like to ride on a clean and neat bike

Well this week we have a challenge.

We need to solve this problem.

It's hard to understand what the problem is, but basically...

We have all these beams that support the ceiling panels, right?

When we get to here...

The last beam is gonna be in this direction,

but the beams coming from this side are gonna be on this direction.

So that means that this last beam needs to support the first 4 beams (2 actually) of this other side of the house.

And we are pretty sure if we use one small wooden beam it won't support it.

So, we're gonna use this.

So let's explain it.

The plan is really simple using all the metal pieces we have leftover from other small projects we did.

So basically this is a...

4 by 8 centimeters (1.6" x 3.2") piece of metal.

And this is a 3 by 5 centimeters (1.2'' x 2'') piece of metal.

The idea is to weld these two together

and build a L shape

mixed metal pieces.

And in this side of the house the beam is gonna run in this direction.

So this is gonna be on the top of this and we're going to screw this on this. So this won't bend.

In this other side the beams are gonna run in this direction.

So that means we're gonna have a beam here another one 80 centimeters, another one and another one.

The way to connect these 2 together we're gonna get L-shape bar

and we're gonna cut it smaller pieces, weld them together like 2 of those together,

and we're gonna do something like, you know... like a bed for the beam.

And we're gonna weld it here.

And I think that's gonna work out.

If you didn't understand stick with us that we're gonna do it.

And once we do it, it's easier to understand when you see what we're talking about.

And I hope it works!

We're going to do a chamfer in this side also, and it's easier to penetrate the weld here.

Because this is pretty thick.

Quick explanation!

I'm gonna try to be quick because we recorded these like 5 times I'm never quick.

Basically, when you weld 2 pieces of metal together they heat it up and they change shape.

I mean like they...

expand and then when they cool down they go back to their original shape,

if you don't heat it too much. If you heat it too much...

it's gonna get a different shape and won't go back, right?

That's what happened with us.

That's the reason why when you weld anything together you need to tack weld, right?

So basically... think like this:

If you do a line of weld here

this line of weld is gonna get really hot and then when it cools down it's gonna shrink.

When this weld shrinks this is gonna happen.

That's the reason why you tack weld tack well tack weld tack weld.

When this try to shrink it won't.. the tack weld won't let this go on this direction, right?

That's theory. Small piece small weld.

Long beam as we did

we tack weld in just a few spots.

That means that when we did the actual lines

it heats it up so much that even though we have tack welds

the whole thing bend, not just you know, like not just move.

And that's a big problem.

I think our biggest mistake was that after tack welding...

We did the lines like, you know... like here.

And then one in the other end of the beam and then one in the center and and one...

We just keep changing location on the same side.

I think that was enough. I thought.

Yeah, I thought that was enough but the thing is I forgot that...

This could bend in this way also.

The whole thing, because everything is really hot.

So I think what we should have done is to weld one line here and then one line on inside,

and then one line here one line in the inside on different spots, but...

Keep alternating sides.

But not just alternating the location on one side, alternating the location and the side.

We've just alternated the location. We didn't alternate the side.

That's the reason why we got a bent beam.

We thought, we think.

Yeah, I mean like...

It's a learning process and for the next time we're gonna do better I guess.

But for now we have a bent beam. We could...

But... in the end it's ok.

I mean like even though it's bent our main problem would be because we have you know...

We're gonna have like other beams on the side

and if it's bent and this beam is lower than this because you know like this is the beginning

so this is lower this is higher and then the ceiling panel would be like this.

But actually all the place we need to add supports for the side beams

they're the same height.

Even though it's bent. So it's pretty good.

I mean like...

It seems confusing but in trust us it's gonna be okay.

Took us like 3 hours of discussing and like I don't know like trying to decide if we should

buy a new bar and do all over again or if we should try to unbend the metal.

That was... she didn't let me. I wanted to buy a torch.

Yeah, we don't have a torch like you know like a fire torch.

And I believe that if we had a fire torch and we use 2 pieces of wood to support the beam on each side.

And then we could get like the jack a car jack

through the roof of the shipping container to the side bar

and then we could heat it up this and pump the jack until we bent it back to place.

Maybe.

Yeah, I think it would work. But we need to buy a torch and she doesn't want to buy a torch.

So we decided to try a different solution, right?
