hi and welcome I am Maurice Kok author of the book the

Journey of an Ascended Master and in this video I'm going to share with you how to

spend time and space with less conscious people and I will give you some tips so

stay tuned

Hi and welcome in my hotel room in Dubai the reason that I came to

Dubai is for shooting a video program breathing into wealth out of your money

struggles and into expanding your life into wealth increasing your abundance

and today's the last day that you are going to hear from me for probably a few

weeks because here in Dubai I will take all my time to do the video

so in this video how to share time and space with less conscious

people I discovered over the years that I had a really hard time I think it

started already when I was a child but I was not aware of it when you share space

with other people with different consciousness there are few things can

happen to you if you are not aware most people are going to tune in into the

common consciousness I don't like to say thin levels but is the easiest to

understand when you are really conscious your level will be like like this if

there are a lot of people with consciousness like this some people

arise some people lower and if you want to be all present in that room that

has to be a common common level to speak to each other so what happened to the

most people are on this path and probably you want to watching my video

is that you will discover it every time you walk in a room every time you

speak with people every time you walk into a city you have to lower yourself

to fit in to communicate and this can be a really awkward because what I

discovered is that every time I went out of the room out of the city even here in

Dubai I feel tat I am doing like this riding a wave on different consciousness

levels is that you have to process all that stuff you're picking up on that

level out of your space to get in your highest state level and if you can get

used to it and know what to do and how to do it it can be just the breath to

get out of your space and jump into your own level again for me it's like a few

breaths luckely but it was not like that it has to be days of days of days of

being in nature to get back to myself so what is happening when you agree to

someone agree to go to a birthday party agree

to work with all the people agree to spend time and in an airplane and want to be

present there if you have to communicate with other people you agree to a level

that matches otherwise you cannot communicate so what happens from most

people is this is the level of the one who you want to spend your time and

space with and we are going to do this lower

ourselves and be with them because that's the easiest way that's the way

that is natural just lower yourself to the lowest one and keep communicating

with them but we all really want to another option how you become aware you

can choose which options you want in the one three options for me so the other

option is to ask them to reach your level invite them to get here and to be

there together but the thing is when you want to do this not all the people can

reach this not all the people are able to get in your state and a lot of people

even don't want to come there so for me I decided to invite all the people I

meet to come over here and now I'm going to the third part is what will happen if

they don't reach you over there because I'm not going to lower myself anymore I

don't like to lower myself anymore and what happens with people who cannot

reach this they choose to stay here they don't even see me they don't even know

that I was there maybe they see me in a split second but their brains don't

register that I was there so what happens is I am walking in the room

supermarket for example and I want to buy something but they cannot reach the

space over here the consciousness over here so I walk to

the stuff I want I grab it I pray for it and I walk out the only

thing that I see in the eyes of people that they are not there this is just the

program because they cannot come here so they stay there

it's a program running all over every day every second next customer after

customer after customer, I don't care if they cannot reach this they're not worth

talking to, this is maybe hard set but this is how it works on do you want

to low yourself every time and every time get stuck in a prison again

into that less conscious space, I'm sorry, so this is what I do I don't lower

myself and there are few times not much that I do lower myself if I really want

to ask someone something or if I'm going to help someone out in the

breathing wealth course I had to step some levels down because when I'm in a

course like like this and teaching I have to experience everything again what

all the people's experiencing and then I'm stepping out and when I'm doing that

in short period of time of those days running through all the states I know

exactly which step I made and how I can get out of it back into my own space so

that is why I am consciously onconsciously I choose to record and then

I'm dropping down experiencing everything with all the people who are

going to join me and joining me in a few days and then I know how to jump out and

teach it to other people so that is one of the things that I'm choosing to lower

my consciousness and get stuck again into that process it's not really stuck

because I know I can get out but I experience that feeling of getting stuck

again and this is the that's the other thing to choose when or which level you

want to take if you can become aware of this and when you are aware of

this you can choose you are not falling into different levels you are not

feeling the gravity anymore there is gravity but you are not going into it and

sucking back into it gravity but you have to be okay with being alone 100%

because when you are in the highest state and nobody can reach you it is

like that you were alone fully alone 100 percent alone walking on the

street and nobody sees you nobody notice you and you are there just

walking until someone who actually can reach that state pops in see you catch

your attention and serve you in whatever way they are willing to serve you and

you asked so how can you become there on that level and how can you choose in it

for me and what she's letting go of everything and becoming i don't know if it is

becoming but when you are totally okay with being alone cross into your

enlightenment feeling who you are and then you can step out of that reality out

of that reality you just step back into your own space each your own level of

consciousness just breathe into your highest state and just keep breathing

into it for a lot of people when they are laying down closing their eyes they

can breathe into this that inner space it's really hard to do that outside

because you're really there's no gravity and most people are automatically going

to low down and can Into that reality again with you just keep walking and the

reality is around you but you're not going to dive in so when you are in your

own center space you're walking around you just keep breathing into yourself and

don't interact and weaken don't interact with everything around you until you are

getting used to it just walk like a nobody like you don't know anyone when

you're in a city don't know you have never been there before you know nobody you

know nobody there's nobody you know so you don't have to look for all the face

if you see someone familiar so when you're walking in that city you have no

clue you don't know anyone you can just be by yourself it's easy to do better

than in your hometown or whatever because you're always searching for

people you know and when you do this and you keep breathing inside yourself

choosing every breath for the highest state you can reach or beyond just

breathe consciously and walk over and over and over and over this is

how I do it did it in the beginning I was just breathing once becoming aware

and and step into it but just keep walking and breathing and watching

around you just watch don't interact with it with just watch around you you

don't have to ignore people but you don't want you exchange the energy on

this lower level and when you reach the top level of where you want to be and

where you are you can fully open yourself and then you are going to see

that everything starts to fade a little bit all people are if you look in

their eyes there's no spark in it there's just an automatic program what

is running just a mind who is running all the time and when you are there you can

invite everyone to come to your state which who you want to interact if you walk

into a bakery and invite him or her to get to match your level order your food

and you can see it in the eyes if someone cannot match your state

it's like program running and if they can match your state it will notice it you

will have a whole different conversation and you can feel the energy behind you

too and take that really sharp in the rest

of the rule not so this is how you know what this is how I do it and this is

My teacher inspires me by giving us different ways to learn,

which makes the learning fun.

They think you're going to do the best,

so you actually want to do the best you can.

Sometimes he'll just come over to me and he'll just start explaining

without even me having to ask and that's just really, really nice.

He supports us, he cheers us on.

If we don't understand, she teaches us again

and she teaches us a new method, which is amazing,

and it's easy to understand.

Teacher inspires me

by the way he challenges us with all different activities.

Matt helped me conquer my fears about the heights.

The school's just really cosy.

Coming from a small school,

there's a really tight-knit community between teachers and students.

And if we are struggling with something,

they give us motivational quotes and things

just to keep us going and to push us to our full potential

and beyond our potential, as one of our teachers likes to state.

My teachers inspire me

through the hard work and dedication that they put into teaching me.

They are so enthusiastic and passionate about teaching

that it inspires me to listen and then to give back to them.

I feel like they really care about us here

and I know that even after school,

we'll be able to come back and have a good relationship with them.

Tony Robbins: How to Face Your Fears ( Tony Robbins Emotion ) - Duration: 21:35.

Do you have any tips on how to overcome your fears and take the first step to

achieving a dream it depends on the individual everybody's different but the

fastest way to get over your fears I give you two different approaches one is

find something you're more scared of than your fear because some people are

afraid of public speaking or afraid of doing anything but they're more afraid

of disappointing their children you know they're more afraid of missing out on

the opportunity they're more afraid of not living the life they want when I was

a kid I would do this little thing for myself i dunk throughout my life called

the rocking chair test someone prodded me I'm a little was years ago I read in

a book or something and it was the idea that if you're trying to find out what

you got to do something out you're scared to death

imagine you're 80 years old and you didn't do it Wow and how do you feel and

if it doesn't bother you then don't do it and if you think like like skydiving

or you know I'm a helicopter pilot you know I don't have time I have energy but

if I thought at eight years old I could have been flying and taking people down

on the water and doing all this crazy and I missed out on that I forget yeah

so you can either find you know what if you like to miss out on your dream or

what something I'm more afraid of than your fear or we'll all play through our

fears and we want something bad in the frame you know it's like I don't care

what it is I saw man the other day I've known for years he lost 80 pounds in

these in the 70s and I said what made you finally lose the way maybe you know

you pop for years you said I really finally wanted it okay so let's really

want okay so let's come up with some tips so one tip is you have to really

want it well in one fitness to passionately figure out right the why I

move we believe in that reasons come first answers come second if you get a

strong enough why you can figure out how to do anything right so why that's going

to drive you so I sit down and say why is this a must for me not a should and

ask yourself what can I pray to I'm free to that I got to be more afraid of what

I'm going to miss out on missing on ammunition missing on who I'm supposed

to be in this in other words you're not get rid of fear than you fear use fear

or it uses you it's that simple so you got to say okay what's the price if I

just stay doing this what's the price what I need to really get scared and I

learn all this I don't follow through that's somebody scared about

and then that fear will get you over your fear they'll push you through turn

fear in itself second way you can do it is use what

you've probably heard me say because I use it there were 17 in my little

rocking-chair test right I mean I sit myself in my rocking chair

I'm 85 years old I'm looking back on my life and I say I didn't do this or I did

why does somebody you know get that fat or they're out of control and they hate

themself but then they go have another beast chocolate or you know why does the

person who is just the doctors are told they have cancer lung cancer is you've

got to stop smoking and some studies show 70% of people keep on smoking so

you're not talking about a minor issue here right it's part of life but there

is an answer because there are people who do follow through they're people

that never did before and then they never follow through in their life

enough finally they break through and that's when I try to focus on is what

those people do what do these people need to get started why aren't there

starting we all know the answers here but the difference with you guys or me

or anybody's followed through is we're more afraid of what life would be like

if we don't follow through then the person is willing to settle for what

they got and kind of hope it'll change and maybe purchase something for the

moment and then not follow through with it it's almost like people overachievers

have a little more fear they're a little more afraid of missing out they're

afraid of not being there or they got a strong enough reason to pull through so

I'd say if you're looking at home you want to get somebody some value go where

do I start I'm sick of this that's a damn good

place so because well guess what what makes people excited is progress you

don't have to be at the goal yet to feel alive again you have to be progress in

the first up to progress and make a decision buying the product but then go

to the second step which is open the damn thing up some cases it's also a

recognition of Who I am and what I'm capable of so for somebody whose life is

already great this is about what if I could take on another skill it can

create more freedom for my life and just saying I'm not I'm going to go out and

try and do it all perfectly right now what I'm going to do for the next eight

weeks I'm gonna do what only a little ritual I'm going to do one thing a day

to condition my mind right so I get slow so I follow through

I'm gonna read some I'm going to listen to something I'm gonna immerse myself

I'm going to go for an intense jog or I'm going to go lift weight so I'm going

to do it consciously to get in a state where I'm gonna follow through number

one because people follow through when you're in state second I'm going to get

clear about why this is a must for me and record my backs against the wall but

because I want to mastery life to create some freedom we're going to master it

overnight but I got the system I got the plan put in one thing a day I'm going to

on one subject week this week's going to be figuring out what the right product

or industry is next week's going to be basics of building traffic in each week

I wanna make a little progress and I'm going to get to a goal whatever that is

they told me when I was on stage I have this audience is about 15,000 people the

Continental Center was during a stretch break I was doing they love rocking the

house everybody going crazy and it goes there stops with your let's party

million bucks right now I was like wow that's cool like okay that's ignore so

stupid it's like what's next and I went right back to what I love once you break

through then it just becomes a game the people that are getting your products

have not yet broken through in most cases the breakthrough happens by

conditioning your mind every day by feeding it a role model or story it's

putting yourself in a pink state when you follow through by getting physically

strong it's creating a little ritual of doing a little bit each day and then you

get momentum the most important thing of all let me start out with why absolutely

why is it a must for you it doesn't have to be here against the wall but it has

to be something you're hungry for because the only difference in people is

hunger and if you're not hungry get around people that are hungry and

something will hit you you watch a conversation get around people are doing

better and all of a sudden you started on my wife sucks I remember I went

through a guy in LA it's one of the most multi billionaire guy never forget and I

lived in the Del Mar Castle and I was really proud that was like the symbol of

me having taken myself from being poor to providing for my family this great

place Dalton castles in Europe overlooking the ocean not far from you

and I went this guy's house he's billionaire he took me down to his wine

cellar how many very much went through this whole thing at the other night I

was depressed I lived in the Del Mar tenements far as I was concerned I

really was I was like I live in a crappie place and all my standards

changed all said I wasn't willing to settle for living that all of a sudden

my back was to the ball in a different way because as a man I knew was capable

more so people can change their standard by getting around words better people

can change their standard by getting associated what's true like the bills

they gotta solve the problems they got to do it or they can do it because

they're excited because it's something new they want to take on everyone's

different but they got to find the why and they

got to come up with some daily rituals to get them going and just do a step at

a time that's where you get momentum that is awesome so you know think about

what's the Holy Grail between somebody taking action or not it's one word

certainty when somebody is absolutely certain day you know the common word it

believed right but you know you can believe in a general level or you can

believe with certain when you're absolutely certain that if I do this

it's going to get that result and that results going to change my life you'll

do it when you think it absolutely not going to work you're never going to do

it the middle no-man's land of maybe it'll work maybe it will that's the

piece that kills people right so if it's a must for you you got to make it work

that in our case right was an example it's not a must for you and you're not

sure you don't know what to do decide years ago I'd look around and say okay

how do people get themself to follow through they haven't been following

through what's the difference and I started interviewing hundreds of people

literally eventually thousands go to have thousands of my events so I'd ask

the group to give me the feedback they came to this model it's like the holy

grail of beliefs or the holy grail of momentum it's like the difference thing

what makes the rich get richer and the poor get poorer right and the difference

we all know is mindset but like how's that bill so this is like a just stupid

little further little boxes and I'll scribble here for it you think about the

first thing that determines whether you can do something or not and I put that

this first box at the top here on the left side it's potential like what's the

potential of the MA like when you guys started you proved something no one had

done in history around the four-minute line right for godly knows how many

centuries they're trying to run a four-minute mile roger bannister does it

how did he do it do you remember you did it in this industry right you made a

million bucks in a day no one had ever done that in history right now if you

did it a bunch of the guys are doing it the case it became possible roger

bannister didn't just go physically practice he made a shift in his act he

practiced in his head because he could never achieve it physically so he had a

change of his head first so the result became certain enough he believed it and

his body got him through after roger bannister in that four-minute mile

within two years 37 people ran a form in a month well when no one in history

never done here's how it works the potential for anybody getting your

product is extraordinary they could do what you've done is much more or less

like making whatever they want to do the potentials there the markets proven that

whether or not they happen and potential has a lot to do with what action they

take which is a question of Kingdom is right like you know copy owns potential

but not taking action and we all know that the action that deck is going to

determine the results they get of pre obvious so most people have a belief

about what their real potential is no matter what you tell them and that

affects how much action they take and of course that affects the result and then

ironically that result reinforces their belief in the belief exits are giving

example let's say a person has unlimited potential we all agree but they take

little action little results why because they have to start with a problem with

their belief they don't believe it's really gonna happen for me maybe for

Frank Kern's because it got the cool hair and stuff or maybe it's for you

because you're so driven but it's not me maybe Tony Robbins because he's are

freaked out these big teeth whatever their thought process is right they got

this thing right but what happens is if you believe that there's very little

potential how much actually going to take profit little and when you take

little potential with a little action what kind of results you get lousy

little results when you have little results what does that do to your belief

you go see I told you this was a waste of time soldier this wouldn't work and

then what happens you tap even less potential take even less actually even

worse results and your belief could be in a weaker and this sucker feeds on

itself until you are in a downward spiral poisonous it's poisonous and it's

self-fulfilling now what if something could happen that could come along and

fill you with a sense of absolute certainty not like I believe but me

where you know and you guys this case mine as well we knew because we had to

because we burned the boats there was no other option we had to find a way we had

we weren't going to live that way we all did it in different ways and for

different reasons but in essence that was it if you get yourself in a state of

certainty but this is going to work I'm going to find the way and if this is

work I will make the way then you tap a lot more potential and when you're

certain your potential you take massive action when you take massive action you

really believe in something you get great results when you get great results

your brain go see I told you I was a stud I told you the thing would work out

now you even stronger you tap more potential take greater action good

results that's how you went from 300 bucks in a week

- twenty five hundred and five days - a hundred thousand in a month - a million

bucks in the day same thing with you and we get momentum rich get rich from the

poor get poorer now some people go out they go well I'm

gonna take a bunch of action all right I'm gonna open this product gonna try it

they'll say to you I even did it but it's like a Salesman who goes and knocks

on the door he knocks on 100 doors and says you know are these exactly right

and even if he doesn't say it verbally his face says it because he doesn't

believe it's going to work so his voice his body the execution is so weak maybe

if he talks a hundred people somebody's going to buy out of pity I don't want

his kids to starve right but it's not going to get the result so the core

difference in people is how do you put in a certain date when the world isn't

giving it to you you go out and try and you try in your case you're a hundred

thousand that nothing's working how do you keep yourself going the way you did

it the way I did it the way you're doing it we may not do it consciously is we

didn't change our potential that was there and it wasn't even taking more

action taking more action with beliefs not going to work not going to change

anything we got results in our head that made it so certain as if it had already

happened now here's the difference the potential was there the first time and

you took action and you got a result but it was 50% less than what you did later

on and the only difference is I change I believe how do I change your belief we

didn't work harder on your potential we didn't take more action I got you to see

the result in advance I get to see it vividly two or three times that's all

going further and their brain with oh I know what to do boom it went there isn't

that what you did by looking at your cars every single day and envisioning it

maybe it's not what you did when you created whatever the vision was there

was 300 ollars 2500 dollars a million bucks in the day that's what's missing

for these people they're not getting that execution is everything but it

doesn't happen if you don't get the psychology set of a set of state of

total certainty what is that difference people this changes people's certainty

people are uncertain they're going to succeed they want it but they're afraid

the best way if you will the fear is get a big enough reason makes you have to

succeed or condition yourself where you see it and feel it so often that you're

certain you just do it openly things I'll tell you I worked with Andre Agassi

in 1993 I think it was he'd been number one he plopped a 30 second in the world

and he was ready to literally ready with no exaggeration his father was

managing him and he was so angry with his life and he went through some I

think risk surgery at the time and he's working on a swing and he was dating

Brooke Shields at that point they weren't married and not his current

marriage obviously and so she said you gotta come see Tony because I don't even

motivation because he's not motivation Manny's strategy he'll show you how to

make that shift in your heads it comes I work with a guy and the beginning is

saying you know do your magic stuff like oh yeah great thank you and I said tell

me and you nearly have a tennis ball perfectly and I'm trying to get him in

the zone to remember that time like you vision where he was perfect at it it was

of course I have and I get a vision over and over again and finally he's in the

zone he's feeling that again right he's seeing it and he's feeling certain and

the swing is going perfect all right so how's my feel does it feels perfect I

said but are you thinking about the swing you're not thinking about the

swing you're not thinking about how to do it you just seen the result you want

so vividly that it's there so all he did was train him how to go on that stand

over and over again he won the next weekend

the second weekend he came in second within six months he was number one in

the world again he gave me unbelievable credit but all it was was

conditioning the mind you did with tape so today I that we was talking about

this earlier pegmatitic I used to go when I was 17 years old in

a downtown Los Angeles this place called Knight education K ni ght egg of the

night I'd save up all my money whereas a janitor and I would get these tapes and

listen to these things over and over and over again I went there for years and I

didn't have enough money and I leveraged everything I had but I knew how to train

my mind so one thing I knew how to do man's name is Mario I saw him in his 80s

you know obviously knows how my life turned out and was very proud of the

role he played and that process you tell people the story this guy's the real

thing he didn't just start out this way this time Tony didn't he listen he's

tasty conditioned himself right this is the real stuff he passed away a few

years ago I'm calling his house and he passed away and as his daughter was

there and she wanted to share with me that how I touched his life and so forth

but the best thing was I thought you know what I want to get those tapes I

want to get that stuff at condition you know I want to go back to that moment

like you did of you know that moment was visualizing now I'm living it and she

said he left all this and his will to you so I have all these tapes now then

from the time when I originally went through and like I'd go to sleep and I'd

be sleep tapes that conditioned my mind to believe that I could succeed he want

to sleeping or to build energy in my body

and anybody wants to succeed has got to know it doesn't just happen you can buy

a product but you also with that product have got to condition yourself you got

to make a must hey you got to get a ritual if you do it

whatever you used to dream about you thought was so huge you live live it you

live it like you're live this yesterday like we're all living the life that we

envisioned because we had to and because we played this game with our head we got

the belief to be real by seeing it enough times and feel it enough times so

our brain believed it and it made it happen

which raised the potential which made us take more action which got us better

results which raised our beliefs again that's right and then that's what rich

get richer and the poor get poorer so it's bit of bitching about it change

it in the society change like a self-fulfilling prophecy completely it's

pretty easy to change just that one simple exercise was amazing I was still

like holding on wonder what else I can do now but look what most people do most

people do the opposite of that right they get the product or they think about

doing it what are they envision it's not working that's right the excuses so they

vision it not working through the envision timer Kaneko uncertainty for

uncertain how much potential it out little if anything and so they send back

your product they listen to the damn thing you know and guess what what does

that do by the way they make that is another lousy result in their life I

don't even follow through on that they believe even less this process is the

Holy Grail it's where the whole game changes that

anybody can do it and they can do it a few minutes and if they do it a few

minutes each day then they get a different life they do it a few minute

one time their life changes for the day it's we're defined by our rituals

everybody's got rituals certain things they do every day and what we should we

have in common and anybody that I know of has a life that they're living that

was once a vision because we saw it again and again again even when it

didn't work even when you lost on a grant you working as a janitor there's

something we would not give up on and somebody watching wants to change their

life they got aside what they won't give up on and then put themselves in the

state of momentum by a couple little rituals okay so here's the truth and

somebody says to me in my business even work because a lot of people think I'm a

motivator I hate that term has never been what I've done I do believe in

energy and I'm passionate you know they see ten dollars leave on the realm rock

and egg always motivating them I believed in Peaks paid you get a top

athlete you get in a concert you get in the state right the problem is to defend

themselves they won't be disappointed they lower their expectations so someone

will say to me well I'm skeptical or I'm pessimistic and my response to them is

no man you're gutless it takes no guts to be skeptical you

don't have to have any capacity to be a critic and now with the web you don't

even have to own that you're the one being the critic thing and burn somebody

and you know anonymously right I said you know what it takes guts to believe

and if you think something's gonna do it for you without you putting your guts on

the line you must don't forget it right now so this idea that I'm skeptical or

they got to prove it to me it's the biggest lie what that really is is your

fear talking you're so scared of failing you only want to get your hopes up and

if you don't get your hopes up you might say well what if we get to help

something somebody gets disappointed how many disappointments that we experienced

in our business careers and in our lives the difference is some people think

disappointment let it destroy them other people take disappointment let it dry

them and get the juice are you going to turn this thing into why it didn't work

and a bunch of stories and excuses are you going to take this thing that didn't

work and we go out what are you going to do to make it work and it may not happen

the first time second time third time to the people that are relentless find the

way and it's the common denominator and all these guys that are kind of our

friends our family of money masters you know the new masters is they all did it

with will nobody here inherited this stuff everybody figured it out and keep

figuring it out and it's going to keep changing and you say you know what you

because only one percent of people will condition their mind and condition their

body and fall through some daily rituals the rest will tell a story about why it

didn't work I wasn't their fault and you got to things like you got results or

you got a story no and too many people think that 1% is somehow entitled to it

and they're not which is you know it's just all in the head it's all that

believe it which can be changed with some conditioning basic condition you

just proved it yeah so up that's fun that's why I made get the ads in person

powers because I understood that from the very beginning I could original was

30 days and years later people say hey you know I've heard all the great

results everything else man but I don't have 30 days and I'd be behind the glass

you know focus-grouped watch these people want to shake it like you want 30

days to change your life you know okay I'll make it seven days so just one

because after seven days and getting a little man you think about it when in

people's lives change and moment it doesn't change in 10 years

you're like me is suck for 10 years but there's one moment when your life change

the moment you decided you said no more and I'm doing it and you kick yourself

in the ass and you made yourself go do something right when you finally said

enough no more I quit or let's begin or I love you there's a moment when

somebody's life changes and that can be gotten in a couple of days so people

want to don't have to wait until they've mastered everything they got to get

started and do what's next and just put themself in a state where they start

making some progress there it is I think that's the answer that can help solve

that problem other people will just pay attention to it and do it the bottom

line is you know all three of us and some of the people that we consider as

family they're part of this process we've all done well we don't need to do

this stuff we're able to do the stuff because underneath at all people can see

in your eyes Frank when you talk about $2,500 you made that day and the joy

right or are you talking about not willing to settle you know and just I

don't care what they say I'm able to sit here and I should lower my expectations

I'm going to be driving my car in here and they're going to be delivering a

How To Design A Logo - for an Interior Design firm - Duration: 2:33.

Hi I'm Denny Kurien and I'm going to show you how to design a logo for an Interior Design

firm.

Metford Design Consulting is an Interior Design firm that specializes in workplace and office-space

design here in Canada.

They've been in business for 30 years, however their logo hasn't changed much since then.

They wanted a branding that was more contemporary.

Under new management, it became Metford Design Consulting.

We then decided to substitute the Papyrus font for a san-serif font that was a little

bit more contemporary.

We then enclosed the logotype within a boundary, to resemble that of an interior design floor-plan.

This is the first logo option we came up with, which we call The Plan.

For the next logo option, we started with a 3D perspective, out of that we formed this

logo mark.

Which when de-constructed formed the letters M, D, C - Metford Design Consulting.

For the next logo option, we went straight for the accronym M, D, C - we then combined

these letters to form shapes, using different colours.

For the final option, I was inspired by this contemporary looking work-desk.

The 3 dimensional perpendicular shapes formed that of an M, which would symbolize Metford.

You'll see the get started now button on the page.

Click the button.

This is where you can select your hosting plan.

You'll see three different options.

You'll see a Basic plan, Plus plan, and a Prime plan.

I recommend going with the basic plan and then you can always scale up whenever you'd

like.

If you have more than one website then you'd want to choose either the plus plan or prime

plan.

I'm going to choose the basic plan for this tutorial as this is most common.

Go ahead and hit the select button on whichever plan you would like to use.

We are now brought to a domain page where we can choose the domain name that we want

completely free.

Or if you already have a domain name you'd enter it in over on the right.

For the new domain you can select if you want it to be a .com, .net, .org, etc…

.com is the most popular domain extension so I'd recommend going with a .com if you

can.

I'm going to type in a domain here and click the next button.

You are now brought to a create your account page.

This is where you will input your information.

We have first name, last name.

Business name is optional.

Put your country address information.

Put a phone number and lastly the best email for you as you'll get emailed a receipt

of payment and a copy of your login credentials, etc.

Below that you will see package information.

You'll see account plan.

This is where you can select the term for your hosting package.

You have 12 months, 24 months, and 36 months, and 60 months.

As you can see you'll save money the longer you purchase your hosting for.

I'm going to select the 12 months package.

Setup fee is free.

Domain is free.

You'll see site back up pro.

You can unselect this as there are free backup plugins you can use for your WordPress website.

Search Engine jumpstart you can keep unselected.

This isn't necessary to have.

I'd unselect this as there are really good free alternatives.

As you can see your saving a lot for this hosting package.

Below that you will input your payment infromation.

I'm not going to fill this out for protection of personal information.

Once your information you want to select the I have read and agreed to Bluehost's privacy

policy and terms of service.

Now click the submit button.

You are now brought to a confirmation page.

Bluehost is also going to at this time email your dashboard login information.

You might need to pause the video while you wait for the email to come in.

Keep in mind that Bluehost does update their pages after you sign up so if it looks a little

different than when I did this tutorial video on how to start a WordPress blog don't worry.

It will still be close to the same process.

Now we need to login to the bluehost dashboard.

You can click the link they gave you or just go to bluehost's website and up at the top

you will see login.

Click login.

Enter your account credentials and click submit.

Once you do that you'll be in the bluehost hosting home dashboard as you can see here.

Scroll down a bit till you see website and then under that section you will see install

WordPress.

Click install wordpress.

You should now see do it yourself free and on the right hand side you will see the install

button.

Go ahead and click install.

Once you do that you will see a select which domain you would like to install to.

So select the domain you want to use for this and where you see the directory part next

to it just leave that blank and click the check domain button.

It's now going to check your domain name.

This could take a few minutes so just be patient.

Once that is done you will see the last step.

You want to select show advanced options.

You will see where you can change the site name or title.

You want to put the name of your site here.

You will see admin username.

If you need to change that you can.

Under that you will see your password listed.

Feel free to change it to a password that you would like too.

Select the box that says automatically create a new database for this installation.

Make sure you select I have read the terms and conditions.

Click the install button now.

Now you'll see a page or a popup saying we're setting up WordPress for you.

Just be patient.

You'll see a progress bar at the top showing the progress of the WordPress installation.

Once it is done it will say your install is complete.

Click on the view credentials link.

It will now give you the url of your website, the login url for WordPress to make edits

to your site along with your username and password.

Go ahead and click on the admin url link.

Put the username and password in.

And click the login button.

And you will now be in the WordPress dashboard where you can start creating your WordPress

website by adding pages, blog posts, etc…

Up at the top you will see your site title.

Click that or hover over it to where it says view site and click on it and you can view

your site as you can see here.

What you see here is the demo default theme for WordPress.

If you go to the site themeforest.

They have hundreds of premium pre-made themes for every industry.

So if you don't have a lot of knowledge in design you can easily find a cheap theme

put together really well here.

How to Make Garlicky Green Beans - A 15-minute Side Dish ⏰ - Duration: 3:53.

Hi welcome to my video! Here's a recipe for garlicky green beans. Green beans are

in season right now in Toronto and I can't get enough. I buy them every single

week. This is a really simple recipe it makes a great side dish. The first

thing you have to do is prepare your beans so make sure that they are

thoroughly washed and then go ahead and cut off both of the tips. Then what I

like to do is slice my bean down the center along that ridge and then again

in half just like that. Cutting the beans in this way as opposed

to cooking them whole just helps to reduce the cooking time and if there's

something unsightly on your bean feel free to go ahead and cut that right off.

I also feel that cutting the beans in this way makes it look like I have a

whole lot more beans than I actually do. This does take some time so I

usually just sit down with an audio book or a show and you know, go to work. Next

you're going to need some garlic just go ahead and chop that up or slice it up in

any way you see fit. The shape does not matter and next a medium sized onion. I

like to slice this into half-moon shapes but as I mentioned before just cut

things the way you want them. Nothing in this recipe has to be too fussy or exact.

You also need a medium sized tomato so go ahead and chop that up too and

while you're looking at my footage of me cutting up my tomato thinking: "Wow she

needs to sharpen that knife," go ahead and hit the subscribe button as well as the

notification bell so you know when I post new recipes which, incidentally, is

every Monday. Now the only other two things that you need in this recipe are

salt and pepper because this is very simple and the green beans really are

the star. You want to taste their natural flavour. Moving on, heat up some oil in a

non-stick on medium heat and cook the onions and garlic together until just

before the onions become translucent and for me, that takes anywhere from three to

four minutes. Then go ahead and add in the green beans and incorporate them

with the onion and garlic. Now this might seem like a lot of beans right now but

these are going to cook down and the quantity will reduce a little bit. At

this point you can also add the salt and pepper and adjust this later if necessary.

Next you should turn down the heat, cover

this up and allow it to cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes add in the

chopped tomato and mix everything well then, cover it up again, keep it on low

heat and cook it for another 5 minutes. Once they've cooked for 10 minutes I like to

check the texture of the beans. I don't want them to be limp, I like them to

retain a little bit of their bite. So I do this by just reaching in there,

grabbing a bean and testing it out. My beans needed another 2 minutes and once

they were done this is what they looked like. This is a really quick recipe, if

all of your ingredients are prepped you can pull this off in 15 minutes. And as you

can see here, I'm trying to show you the texture of this dish, the tomato is nice

and mushy but it's not completely dissolved and the bean itself is not at

all limp. It still maintains a lot of its own bite, it's able to hold its own shape,

and natural sweetness shines through alongside that garlicky flavour. I hope

What's up guys?

It's Kevin from KreativeVein back here again and today we'll be going over how to stop

worrying.

I'm pretty sure you already know why you should stop worrying, at least instinctively

but just to put my thoughts into words, eliminating worry has allowed me to live a happier life,

made me overcome my fears, and just have that peace of mind rather than allowing anxiety

to make your mind and body sick.

So let's jump right into the first of the 5 steps to stop worrying.

The most important thing for you right now is to understand that it is pointless to worry.

You may be saying -- wait no, worrying has helped me in the past, it's motivated me

right?

Well, I'll give you an example.

Here we have Bob and he has an important project he's working on.

He has to make an advertisement and then he'll have to present it to his boss, the executives

of the company, and overall it's a high stress environment.

So his mind starts to worry while he's driving home, when he should be sleeping, while he's

with his family that oh shit, if I fuck this one up, I'll get fired, I'll be a horrible

parent for not being able to provide, he starts to fill in all the blanks with worst case

scenarios if he messes up.

So, due to all this he's stressed and works hard at it, then goes to work the day of the

presentation and does alright.

He's fine now after those days or weeks and the worry was justified, right?

Well, it depends.

His state of mind and overall enjoyment of life during those days where he was working

was at a very low point, he wasn't enjoying his time with his family, he wasn't really

being creative, instead he was just motivated by fear which was pointless.

Yes, he did end up completing the task, but what was the point in worrying about failing

when he could've just done the task regardless?

Instead of worrying, why not just do the things that need to get done?

Also, and this is the 2nd step, why not be motivated by something positive rather than

negative?

So step 2 is to convert your negative worries into positive thoughts.

This may sound a bit far fetched but really worry is just your brain thinking of negative

ways that things could pan out, with the oh I'll get fired, oh my family will go hungry,

all those things.

Why not, instead of succumbing to that, take step 1, realize that worrying is useless,

notice when you do, and then switch it up.

A better way for Bob to motivate himself to make a great advertisement for his company

is to think of what could positively happen.

What if he does really well and gets promoted?

What if Bob tries a new way of marketing and sales go through the roof, allowing him to

know how to effectively promote a product and do that for himself if he wanted to start

a business?

Instead of what if I get fired, this could be an opportunity for him to learn more and

get higher in his company or get hired for a better position somewhere else.

See, Bob in this light will "worry positively", he'll have less stress, most likely produce

something better than had he been overworked and tired, and will enjoy his life and work

in general.

This is something really crucial to your life.

Just watching this video and understanding that worrying is pointless will already help

a bit, but next time you worry (and I used to worry a ton about the most minute things),

just recognize it, note that it's useless to worry, and then think of the positives.

Instead of being socially anxious when you go to a new place thinking what if I embarrass

myself, how about thinking what if I make some friends, or even if I am awkward, learning

how to not care what others think and being socially free.

There's opportunity in everything, and if you can apply that to your day to day life,

you'll improve in whatever you do and enjoy it that much more.

Step 3 out of 5 is to practice gratitude.

I'll keep this short but FightMediocrity did this is in a pretty funny, yet pretty morbid

way.

He apparently told his friend that to stop worrying, every morning watch someone have

their head chopped off.

Now, logically this makes sense but at the same time I have no clue where he got that

from.

However, looking at the principle, if you see someone have their head chopped off daily,

you probably wouldn't complain or worry about something minor like being late to class or

looking awkward, because if that person getting their head chopped off had the choice between

dying and feeling a bit awkward, I'll pretty sure he'd love to be awkward.

Also, before we move on, does anybody know where FightMediocrity is?

Practical Psychology told me he was coming back but I still haven't seen him.

However, this is the point, enjoy what you have, and know that there's really no need

to be worrying all the time because we have it pretty good.

The 4th and second to last step is to stay busy with things that you enjoy.

This is not to be busy in terms of never having time to relax, but instead doing work and

resting in a way which you enjoy.

For me personally this is playing music, reading a good book, or playing basketball.

When I'm doing all these things that I enjoy instead of worrying, I'm in the present moment

and doing the things I want in this short life.

Why waste your time?

Obviously if this is something important that needs to be addressed don't just go off to

play a video game and never actually deal with the issue, but this can help then too.

It's like when people are overcoming addiction, instead of worrying and trying to think through

their problems when they have an urge to relapse, they can do something they enjoy, clear their

minds, and then come back later to think again with a more balanced emotional state.

The 5th and final step on how to stop worrying all the time is to just know that most things

you worry about will have no real impact on your life as a whole.

So I remember a time where my parents were bugging out.

My grades had been shit, a couple of F's in there, D's, C's, but instead of freaking out

about it and just being paranoid about the day that they would open up the report card,

I just kept running my business, kept working hard, and made a promise to them when they

saw, that I would make my grades better.

The uncomfortable situation of my parents telling me I needed to better my grades lasted

for probably 20 minutes max at the dinner table.

In the grand scheme of things, it's literally nothing to worry about.

Not only can you get into the philosophical explanation of well the moment you born you

are guaranteed to die so there's nothing to fear, but also you can explain it in this

way: the fact that 20 minutes compared to my lifetime is nothing.

So I took it for what it was, used the time to my advantage to make a commitment to start

studying more, and it will probably help me in regards to getting into college and enjoying

my time if I choose to go.

In reality, this can be applied to a lot of situations in life.

You worry about if someone thinks you're weird.

Well, if you thought about your life as a whole, does that really matter to you?

No.

The things that you hold important to you are your choice, and for me, other people's

opinions is not the thing I hold dearest to me.

The most important thing in my life is kreating (haha).

But legitimately I find immense joy in making work that I'm proud of, these YouTube videos,

molding my body, art that I produce, instead of worrying why not just enjoy life and deal

with the obstacles it throws at you in a good way?

How To Fish Grasslines and Weedlines - Hank Parker | Bass Fishing - Duration: 2:37.

Glenn: Hey, folks.

Glenn May here with BassResource.com, and I'm here with Hank Parker for another episode

of Hank Parker's Fishing Tips.

This week's question, Hank, it comes from Henry Dover from Enumclaw, Washington, and

he wants to know what bass lures are most effective for fishing the outside edges of

deep, visible grass lines.

Hank: Well, that varies a lot, you know.

There are so many baits that you can use and it depends on how deep the water is at that

particular grass line.

If it's calm and there's not a lot of wind, you know, a sinking worm works incredible,

just really, really, really good.

If the water is clear and the fish are a lot more aggressive, and you can't get them to

take that sinking worm, a jig.

A jig is one of my favorite of all.

Pitch that jig right at the edge of the grass line.

It depends on how fast that fish want that bait as to what size jig you use, you know.

And you may start out in the morning with no wind if fishing a quarter ounce, and by

the end of the day you're fishing a one ounce to get the bait to fall at the same speed

because of the wind.

So, paying attention to the details and letting the fish kind of dictate, you know, if you

start getting a lot of follow-ups or strikes, you may want to change up a little bit and

go to a little heavier bait or a lighter bait depending upon your conditions.

But I think a jig, a plastic worm, a worm with no weight, all of those are probably

the most effective ways to fish those sharp, weedline edges and all that depends on water

depth.

And I have used jerkbaits.

I've gone down and paralleled them and have been very effective using jerkbaits.

So, there are a lot of good baits that work, but my first choice would probably be a jig,

second choice would probably be a weightless worm, and then it might be a weighted worm

and then a jerkbait.

So, all those work, just depends on what the fish want, and they'll kind of tell you that

if you use a variety, give them an opportunity to tell you.
