Adele Just Casually Revealed That She's Married After Keeping Us All Guessing for Months

Adele Just Casually Revealed That Shes Married After Keeping Us All Guessing for Months BY KRYSTIN ARNESON MARCH 5, 2017 6:25 PM.   Christopher Polk/Getty Images for NARAS PHOTO: CHRISTOPHER POLK.

After months (months!) of keeping us guessing, Adele dropped a hint at the Grammys that she might have tied the knot with longtime partner Simon Konecki. Specifically, by breezily referring to him as her husband during her awards speech.

The moment left many of us baffled—Did she reallyjust say that??—but Adele kept quiet after. Until Sunday, that is, when during her concert in Brisbane, Australia, she confirmed the rumors.

Adele was chatting about her hit song Someone Like You and describing how shed first shared the track with friends and family when she dropped the bombshell on the audience.

I could see in their eyes as they were listening to it on their headphones that it reminded them of something or someone, she said.

Thats what I wanted to remember, how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record.

Because as bad as a break up can be, as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling.

Obviously I cant go through with those feelings because Im married now. Ive found my next person..

Ashes to Palms - Episode 04 - Find Us and Set Us Free - Duration: 1:25.

It is one thing to know intellectually and even to consent to the fact that Jesus saves.

After all, Jeshua means 'one who saves' but it is another matter to bend the knee, to

say with your heart and your lips that this Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the first and

the last, the beginning and the end, the Emmanuel or God with us.

I love the story in the early Church about an Abbot named, Apollo.

You see, he claimed that the devil at one point had visited him and he noted that the

fallen angel was burnt like charcoal (as if he had been in a fire).

And even more interesting was that the devil had no knees.

And the Abbot understood like anyone striving for sanctity does that the unwillingness to

kneel (symbolized here by the fallen angel's presentation of himself) is a sign of the

demonic.

When you or I refuse to bend our knees at the name of the God of love, then we are dangerously

close to professing another name.

No, only Jesus can save us and those we love.

Only the name of Jesus has the power to conquer a legion of demons who have set themselves

against us this Lent.

And though they may not kneel, you and I will.

Because we love Him, and we know He can make all things new.

So close your eyes for a moment and make my prayer your own, 'Jesus, break into our lives

this season, find us and set us free.'

U.S. and Japan strongly condemn N. Korea's ballistic missile launch, China calls for restraint - Duration: 2:31.

The U.S. and Japan have strongly condemned North Korea's missile launch,... calling it

a violation of the UNSC resolutions.

Washington reaffirmed its security commitment to the allies as well.

Beijing on the other hand, called for restraint... to prevent escalating tension.

For more on the contrasting response, we turn to Oh Jung-hee.

The United States and Japan were quick to condemn the launch.

U.S. State Department acting spokesperson Mark Toner said it violates U.N. Security

Council resolutions,... which prohibit the regime from using ballistic missile technology.

He urged the North to refrain from provocative actions and inflammatory rhetoric,... and

to make a "strategic choice" -- to fulfill its international obligations and return to

the denuclearization talks.

Toner also added... that America's commitment to defend its allies such as South Korea and

Japan remains ironclad.

He emphasized that the three countries are prepared to make full use of their capabilities

to counter the growing threat from North Korea.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also strongly denounced the launch.

Noting that three out of the four projectiles landed in waters within Japan's exclusive

economic zone,... Abe stressed that the North Korean threat has risen to a new level.

"This launch has clearly indicated that North Korea poses a new level of threat.

The launches are clearly in violation of Security Council resolutions, which we will not tolerate.

We have strongly rebuked North Korea."

He added that Japan will work with the U.S. and South Korea to come up with countermeasures.

An official from the Japanese defense ministry was also quoted by Tokyo-based Kyodo News

Agency... calling Monday's launch "an act of violence that will only deepen the North's

isolation."

But he also reportedly expressed concerns... that the North's launches are becoming more

and more accurate.

As for China, the North's main ally, its statement shared the view that... that North Korea should

not violate UN resolutions,... saying there are "clear rules."

But at the same time, China called on South Korea, the U.S., and North Korea to exercise

restraint.

"China has also noticed that at the moment, the United States and South Korea are carrying

out large-scale military drills aimed at North Korea.

In the present situation, all sides should exercise restraint and not do anything to

irritate each other to worsen regional tensions."

S. Korea condemns N. Korea's missile launch, vows stronger U.S. deterrence against N. Korea - Duration: 2:14.

South Korea's Acting President Hwang Kyo-ahn convened an emergency meeting of the National

Security Council at the presidential office, swiftly following the missile launch.

Song Ji-sun shares with us the official government reaction.

At the National Security Council meeting, South Korea's Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn

condemned North Korea's missile launches as a direct challenge and grave provocation to

the international community.

The acting president said North Korea's missile provocations are an imminent and existing

threat against the security and lives of the South Korean people.

The acting president also ordered the maintenance of a robust defense readiness in close alliance

with the U.S., and to deter additional provocations through the joint South Korea-U.S. military

drills that are currently being held.

"In addition to deploying the U.S. missile defense system THAAD in South Korea to defend

against North Korea's nuclear missiles, we must seek practical measures to reinforce

the U.S. deterrent against North Korea."

Hwang recently convened a National Security Council meeting after the murder of Kim Jong-nam

-- but this was the first time the acting president has chaired the meeting at the so-called

"underground bunker" of Cheong Wa Dae since he assumed the duty in place of suspended

President Park Geun-hye.

"Given the regime's brutality and recklessness, as seen in its murder of Kim Jong-nam, it's

hard to imagine what will result from North Korea's obsession with nuclear weapons."

Hwang pledged to focus Seoul's diplomatic efforts so that international sanctions are

practically and strongly implemented on North Korea.

National Security Council chief Kim Kwan-jin also spoke with his U.S. counterpart H.R.

McMaster on the phone... to beef up cooperation in pressuring the North.

Delusion ( A lie that your mind tells you) - Duration: 4:09.

As a man was passing by the elephants in a zoo

he suddenly stopped, confused by the

fact that these huge creatures were

being held by only a small rope tied to

their front leg

it was obvious that these elephants

could at any time, break away from their bonds,

but for some reason they did not

he saw a trainer nearby and asked

"why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away"

the trainer said, "when they're very young and much smaller,

we use the same sized rope to

tie them and at that age it is enough to hold them.

As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe

they cannot break away

they believe the rope can still hold them so they never try to break free"

the man was amazed these animals could

at anytime break from their bonds,

but because they believed they could not,

they were stuck right where they were.

Now how can we relate this example with

our life today like the elephants,

how many of us go through life hanging onto

the belief that we cannot do anything.

Let me put it this way: this belief can

be anything in your life, it can be your

relationships, your school, your career,

your ambitions or anything.

When you're not having a healthy relationship and

you think "hey! that is it. I can't do anything more to make it work now",

trust me no one is wrong over there but

only you, because you have already lost

the battle where you could have tried

and improve your life.

In your school, if you drop a course or you fail

at a math course, it is just because of you

because you never tried your best there

you were hanging onto the belief that

you cannot do it and if I talk about

your career and your success whenever

you think of new ideas in your life you

hear these voices at the back of your

mind telling you that you cannot do it

or you are not capable of doing it.

In all this whenever you think you can't do

it's just because your mind is lying

to you

you're just like that elephant who does

not know it's true strength and potentional.

Everyone in this world can do

anything if they start believing in themselves.

Bill Gates wont have been the

richest person on earth, if he never believed in himself.

He believed it before he became it.

This is called delusion it is just like a disease,

that makes us ill and like

every other illness it makes us lose our

hope, faith, energy and makes us weak about ourself.

We start to give up on

the ideas that are in our mind,

the motivation, and the willingness to work

for our dreams. We start underestimating ourselves.

It is not just you,

but everyone in this world suffers from this illness,

at least once in their lifetime;

Some get through it and some still don't

know, what their real potential is.

And if you want to get out of this delusion,

you must remain strong throughout, trust yourself

and keep reminding yourself about your abilities

Now it is up to you,

do you want to live your life in a lie,

which could make you afraid of taking

any initiatives in your life

or do you want to follow your own

ideas and dreams and atleast give it a

shot by thinking that you can do it.

And, at the end if you still cannot tell this to yourself,

let me tell this to you,

YOU ARE AWESOME,

YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, and

YOU ARE THE BEST!

After we come out of the delusion,

we face discouragement from our society and our surroundings

Race School: How Race Car Safety Systems Work - Formula E - Duration: 5:16.

Hi, I'm Nick Heidfeld, driving in the Formula E championship

for Mahindra Racing. Today we are looking at driver safety.

Welcome to Race School!

In Formula E, we usually drive on street circuits,

which actually makes it a little more dangerous,

because there's little room for error.

Normally there are no run-off areas, it's just a concrete wall.

Safety obviously is important to us drivers

and luckily also to the teams, and especially the FIA,

who have pushed massively over the last couple of years.

We have protection for side impact, so this not only

looks cool, but actually it's important for safety.

Inside here we have a crash structure that helps

in case of a side impact.

The side walls here have come a lot higher

compared to the past. If you look at racing maybe

10-15 years ago, the side walls were a lot lower.

And that meant in the case of a side impact, you had a lot

higher chances of having a bad injury. Similar to a road car,

we have seat belts, but they are fixed at 6 points.

2 from the top, 2 from the sides and 2 come in from the front.

And then of course we have the seat,

which also helps in case of a crash,

because it's really fitted to your body shape,

so you will move around a lot less, which helps for

quick driving, because you're kept in position.

Another important thing that was introduced over the last

couple of years, is that the seat can be taken out

together with the driver, in case you have a really

nasty accident and the doctors think you might have

damaged something or broken something.

They have an extraction team that is practicing a lot

how to take you out without damaging anything.

Also inside the cockpit, we have the headrest, which is here,

and the leg protection in front, and it's made out of

a special material, which seems to be quite soft

if you push it slowly, but in case of a quick impact,

it really takes a lot of energy. On a normal race car

with a normal combustion engine, through here we get

some air for the engine and more power. In Formula E,

with an electric engine, battery, it's not necessary.

But this is very important because it's a roll hoop.

So if you roll the car, and you take the line from here

to this point at the front, your helmet and head should

always be well below. So if you roll the car, you are safe.

So there are a lot of things protecting us in case of a crash,

but unfortunately it can happen from time to time,

and usually if it's a bigger one, and you see the wall

coming towards you a bit too quick, what you naturally do

and should do is take your hands off the steering wheel

because if you touch the wall with the wheels first,

it might be that the wheel turns around very quickly

and can actually break something on your hands,

so normally you take off your hands, put them

in front of your chest. And also, naturally you start to tense

your muscles, again to just protect your body.

In many places where we can go off, there are barriers

made with tyres, but actually nowadays we have TECPRO,

which is designed to absorb the energy a lot better.

So in most places where we arrive with high speed

and there's a high chance of an accident,

we will have a TECPRO barrier.

So in case you have an off or even a small crash,

you have to decide yourself if it's still safe to continue,

to bring the car home and have it repaired

or if it's better to just stop. Sometimes it's obvious

that you cannot continue. And then you try to get out

of the car in the safest way possible.

Obviously it's quite safe in there, so sometimes it's

better to have a look around. If there's a lot of cars

approaching, wait a few seconds and then get out quickly.

By regulation, you have to put the steering wheel back on

so that the marshals can move the car. Again, if there are

wheels left on the car, it's pointless to do that.

A unique thing for Formula E and electric racing

is the 3 lights in front. Hopefully they will always be green.

If it's red, it means the car is live, and if you go out

of the car, you have to try and not touch the car and the floor

at the same time. And if this shows a green light,

that means the car is safe and you can easily and safely

go out. This sounds very easy in theory, but for example,

the big crash I had in Race 1 in Beijing, when I was upside down,

I just realised afterwards that I didn't check, so I just

moved out, but luckily the car and the battery and casing

are built in a very safe and strong way,

so everything was fine.

We have some G sensors in the car

that measure the deceleration and acceleration, of course.

And if those are quite high after a crash,

a blue light will come on at the front, and this tells you

that you must see the doctor at the circuit,

and they will have a good look at you, and hopefully

tell you that you're okay to keep racing.

We do a lot for safety, and we are working towards

always making the cars and racing even more safe.

I hope you enjoyed it and learned a little bit about it!

SNOWDEN'S REVEALING TWEET EXPOSES EXACTLY WHAT OUR TV'S ARE DOING TO US - Duration: 8:22.

SNOWDENS REVEALING TWEET EXPOSES EXACTLY WHAT OUR TVS ARE DOING TO US.

Four years ago, Edward Snowden accomplished one of the most significant intelligence leaks

in U.S. history, confirming to the world that the government really does spy on you.

Two years later, Samsung casually warned the public that their Smart TVs could record their

living room banter.

Now, even if youre alone in a room, if that room contains a laptop, computer, or

Smart TV, its possible that someone out there is listening to you, and even watching

you.

The worst part?

You wouldnt even know.

A new technology called TVision Insights was recently launched, allowing companies to monitor

TV watchers viewing habits.

This means that they can literally watch you as you watch TV, and the technology even records

data on where your eyes are looking, when youre distracted, and what emotions youre

conveying.

How TVision Insights Watches You Watch TV

I first came across the technology when Edward Snowden tweeted the following image on February

26, 2017.

As you can see, not only can the companies watch you watch TV, but the technology is

intelligent enough to pick up on your facial expression, engagement level, and other significant

data.

This information has provided insight into not only what shows people watch the most

or are the most engaged in, but what commercials they prefer to watch as well.

TVision was co-founded by Dan Schiffman and one of his classmates from the Sloan School

of Management at MIT.

Through the installation of a Microsoft Kinect device, most often used for Xbox video games,

on top of TVs, TVision tracks the movement of peoples eyes in relation to the TV.

The device can then record even tiny shifts from everyone in the room, and then the company

matches the movements to what theyre watching.

The devices sensors can record minute shifts in all of the people in the room.

The company then matches those viewing patterns to shows and commercials using technology

that listens to what is being broadcast on the TV.

Since the technology is still very new, its currently being voluntarily tested on 7,500

people in the Boston, Chicago, and Dallas-Fort Worth areas.

Obviously there are privacy concerns here.

The company states that they arent storing any images or video footage, and its only

a voluntary installation, at least for now.

But weve already seen companies and the U.S. government abuse similar software to

spy on us.

How can we guarantee this information wont be publicized or sold to corporations or the

government, since thats already happened in the past?

Where do we draw the line between wanting the latest technical gadgets and wanting to

secure our privacy?

Is it even possible to have both anymore?

Your TV Could Be Watching You Already

This isnt the first example of surveillance through TVs, and it probably wont be the

last.

In early 2015, Samsung released a statement warning customers that their Smart TVs were

capable of listening to and recording conversations.

These TVs have voice recognition software, but this fancy piece of technology comes at

a price, and that price is a complete and utter violation of privacy.

Samsung actually warned its customers not to have important conversations or disclose

personal information in front of their Smart TVs because the audio can be recorded and

then transmitted to unidentified third parties.

Samsungs privacy policy in regards to the TV actually reads: Please be aware that

if your spoken words include personal or other sensitive information, that information will

be among the data captured and transmitted to a third party.

You can read more about the Samsung controversy in our CE article here.

Vizio TVs were also found to record people, but the company had to pay $2.2 million to

settle charges for collecting and selling footage from millions of TVs without the knowledge

or consent of its viewers.

This is a pretty fair settlement given the fact that they had sold 11 million of these

smart TVs.

One can only imagine how many people were directly affected by this.

The software, Smart Interactivity, was marketed as a feature that enables program offers

and suggestions for users.

However, according to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Vizio didnt actually offer any of

these programs or suggestions for more than two years after being sold.

The FTC suit, which was filed alongside the Attorney General of New Jersey and the Director

of the States Division of Consumer Affairs, claimed that Vizio and its subsidiary, Inscape

Services, sold data to third parties.

The data collected was able to show what programs and commercials people watched, and when.

It could also measure the effectiveness of advertisements, as it would use the IP address

attached to all of the internet-connected technological devices in your home to see

if you recently searched for anything in regards to that commercial.

For example, if you watched a McDonalds commercial and then ordered McDonalds on

your phone, the software would pick up on that and confirm that the commercial was successful.

The software can also do this in reverse, so if you see an ad online for a cool show

and then you decide to watch it after, the software would pick up on that, too.

The software could also target ads to people on their other devices, like phones or laptops,

based on what they just watched on TV.

Although Vizio never publicly identified the companies they sold their data to, the FTC

claimed that it included personal information like sex, age, income, marital status,

household size, education, homeownership and household value.

How Do We Take Back Our Privacy?

If you own a Smart TV, dont stress too much!

There are ways to opt out of these features (although who knows if this is guaranteed,

but its certainly worth a shot).

Just do a quick Google search and you can find out how to opt out of Vizio and Samsung

Smart TVs, if not more.

Its well-known now that laptop cameras and microphones are easy targets for hackers,

particularly if those hackers are U.S. government agencies, as they can be activated remotely

(and you may not even know it because that little green light next to your camera wont

necessarily turn on).

The entire CE office tapes over their laptop cameras in order to prevent anyone from potentially

spying on us.

Even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg tapes over his laptop camera and microphone as an easy

defence against people spying on him.

I encourage you to do the same!

The reality is that we live in a world where everything is recorded and privacy isnt

always a choice anymore.

There are little things here and there that we can do to avoid being taped or listened

to, but that seems to be getting more and more difficult.

We live in a technologically driven world, so its crucial that we voice our opinions

and fight for our privacy.

Even if you feel like you dont have anything to hide, you should still have the right to

do so!

Now, on the ground. Our group is working on offensive for liberation of tha ancient city (Palmyra)

The operation to liberate Palmyra began almost immediately after the ancient city was retaken by the terrorists.

The extremists took advantage of the fact that the main forces of the Syrian army were involved in the operation to liberate Aleppo.

ISIS terrorists were stopped at the Syrian military base T-4.

The situation was stabilized. To dislodge the militants from Tadmor (it is the Arabic name for Palmyra) — the second time, government forces took about two months.

During the attacks of ISIS terrorists, the Syrian military have lost the commanding heights of Palmyra.

In order to regain control of the ancient city, it was necessary to destroy the terrorists, which was equipped with gun emplacements on the ridges.

A difficult task when you consider the fact that the Syrian army doesn't not have a superiority in manpower.

The terrorists threw at Palmyra troops from Raqqa and Deir-ez-Zor. Reserves were sent, by the leaders of ISIS, from the Iraqi city of Mosul.

The soldiers of the Syrian army were supported by the Russian aviation. But not only the pilots provided the conditions for victory.

Here, there were (Russian) military advisors, and specialists of the Russian special operations forces.

Without the support of officers of the special operations forces, soldiers of the Syrian army and its allies simply could not regain control of the ancient city.

Here, government forces clashed with well trained and equipped groups of terrorists of the ISIS,

who have been preparing for the defense, skillfully used the terrain to hide from artillery strikes and air force.

Moreover, they had their own tanks and self-propelled artillery.

And where SAA couldn't get through, the conditions for offensive were staged by Russian special forces.

Secretly, during the night they obstructed offensive operations of extremists.

With precise strikes, special forces are destroying terrorists' strongholds.

In this video, the terrorists are in the dominant height, which is well equipped fortification.

Even with artillery support, it is very diffucult for SAA to take this fortified positions without any loses.

Inori on his absence: "I feel like I'm getting rejected by my team... I just want to prove myself." - Duration: 5:18.

Yeah, I was like straight from solo queue.

So solo queue as a jungler, like... it's frustrating.

I feel like every jungler kind of goes through a toxic phase as a jungler in solo queue.

Because it's like everyone demands so much from you.

And I was just not having any of their shit, so I would just flame them back.

It was totally not appropriate--like, I shouldn't have done it.

But it's just something in the past.

And I had a bad reputation because I would flame people in solo queue.

I kind of dropped that once I realized... as I got older, I kind of matured, and I saw

how immature I was before.

I kind of took, like, a new approach to things.

Like, in the past few years, I've kind of matured, and I wanted to grow more as a person,

and I think it's been helping me a lot.

Does everyone have to go through that immaturity phase in order to become mature?

I think because we spend so much time on the computer, we don't really get the same social

skills that other people get.

So a lot of times, we're not going through the proper maturity levels, and we're not

in the right environment.

So like when you're in solo queue environment, you kind of like adapt to your own environment.

I didn't really have someone to guide me.

I was kind of on my own, so I got really bad habits.

I don't think anyone should be toxic.

I think if people when they get older, they realize how stupid it was to flame someone

in a game.

And I hope more people kind of get aware and stop being toxic.

Because I want to make NA less toxic in general, because I think it's just so bad right now.

I like the fun public service announcement.

Yeah, make NA great again.

I think I kind of have my ego inflated a lot.

Because after the TSM series, there's so much shit going on; like, people hype you up so

much.

But at the same time, as much as they hype you up, they'll break you down.

I came to realize over the few weeks like they just want to build this story, and it's

not even hard for them to break it down.

I feel like I've been broken down so far, and like I've really been humbled down.

I take it as a good experience because it's nice to have it early on.

And I kind of took the realization that, you know, I need to play for myself, my team,

my org, like I can't play for the fans, I can't play for all the--you know like "Inori's

Rengar blah blah blah" shit.

I can't play for that.

That's the wrong mentality, because it's like, if I expect that kind of praise and if I get

the opposite, it will just tear me apart, and I need to like be able to handle like

the praise and the shit talk.

So I've just come to a passive approach to things.

The more you're invested into something, the more you expect out of the outcome.

I'm trying not to invest too much into everything.

I'm trying to take like a Buddhist approach: just free my mind and go slow.

I think one of the activities for P1--we have team H1Z1 games.

Have you played?

Yeah.

So we just group up as five, and we drop together, and we just kind of like...

It's like team bonding for us.

We all just play together and like it's all for one and one for all, so if one of us dies,

we just remake.

So it's pretty fun.

Yeah, I feel like maybe this is a good time to talk about it, because I don't really talk

to my fans too much about it, and maybe this will help now.

I had a lot of stuff going on this new split, new team, new environment.

I was building up so much stress, and I didn't have a good way to deal with it.

We were moving a lot of stuff to another house.

And like I had a lot of built up stress and then shit happened.

And even like the week before my mother--in Vancouver, it was snowing a lot.

Like it snows a lot up there, and like I think my Mom slipped on ice, and she broke her leg.

She had to sit on the couch for the whole month.

I try not to let that get to me but like I'm pretty sure it just added to all the stress

and all the stuff.

I feel like I need to just reset and go back and see my mom and make sure she's like OK.

She was going through surgery too.

And yeah I kind of got what I needed.

I think she was really happy to see me, because I don't get to see her that much, and I was

happy to see she was doing well, and it kind of cleared my mind.

And like I was ready to go back and like really try my best.

But right now, I kind of feel like I'm getting rejected from my team.

Because there's a certain player who doesn't want to play with me, which is kind of silly.

But yeah, I just want to play, I just want to win.

I love P1 as an org and all the people who work with us, and it's just kind of sad that

I can't get the opportunity to play again.

I know I can prove myself, and I've come back a lot better and stronger, so I kind of just

want to get on stage and prove myself.

What do you think it's going to take to be able to have the opportunity to mend that

relationship and get back in?

I think I just have to earn the respect of my teammates again.

I think they respect me, but I think I've made some questionable decisions like the

first few weeks.

I've explained myself afterwards.

But still, it's like you've got to live with the decisions you make.

And it wasn't anything crazy.

It was just, like, I could have been a better teammate to them.

And I want to be the best teammate that I can be going forward.

So I'm happy going next week; I just want to try really hard to prove myself again.

I'm sorry for the fans because I haven't really updated them, and I pretty sure everyone is

confused, like, what's going on in P1.

But it's just like--I felt like I wasn't ready to really come out and talk to everyone about

it, because I've tried to keep my personal stuff to me, myself.

But I feel like maybe holding it in is never as good, so I'm trying to let everyone know

now.

U.S. considers redeploying tactical nuclear weapons to Korean peninsula: NYT - Duration: 1:23.

The United States is reportedly considering the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons

to the Korean peninsula... to bolster defense readiness against growing threats from North

Korea.

Kim Mok-yeon reports.

According to a report by the New York Times over the weekend, President Trump discussed

all possible options in dealing with Pyongyang with his national security deputies over the

past several days.

The report said Trump discussed the possibility of re-deploying tactical nuclear weapons to

South Korea for the first time in 26 years, with the aim of sending a "dramatic" warning

to North Korea.

The U.S. removed all tactical weapons from South Korea in late 1991 after it called for

a reduction in its nuclear arsenal.

However, with tensions intensifying over Pyongyang's continuing nuclear and missile provocations,

voices calling for Washington to redeploy such tactical weapons in South Korea have

been raised.

Unlike the Obama administration which declined such requests saying that intercontinental

ballistic missiles are enough, the Trump administration seems to be considering a kind of eye-for-an-eye

approach.

While some pundits say that maintaining nuclear parity with North Korea and can allow the

country to engage in disarmament talks on a more equal basis, some worry it could actually

give legitimacy to North Korea's nuclear program and even amplify the regime's nuclear ambitions.

U.S. mulls deploying nuclear weapons to Korea - Duration: 0:56.

Despite China's continued strong opposition to the soon-to-be-stationed American missile

defense system, Washington could go one step further...

The U.S. is reportedly considering the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons to the Korean

peninsula... to bolster defense readiness against growing threats from North Korea.

According to a report by the New York Times over the weekend, President Trump discussed

all possible options in dealing with Pyongyang with his national security deputies over past

several days.

Re-introducing nuclear weapons for the first time since the early 1990s would send a powerful

warning to North Korea.

The sense of urgency stems from the fact that Seoul's strongest ally may not not have the

most effective countermeasures against North Korean nuclear and missile programs... that

are proving to be far more resilient than many experts had previously thought.

U.S. and Japan strongly condemn N. Korea's ballistic missile launch, China calls for restraint - Duration: 2:29.

The U.S. and Japan have strongly condemned North Korea's missile launch,... calling it

a violation of the UN Security Council resolutions.

Washington reaffirmed its security commitment to the allies as well.

And Beijing called for restraint on all sides... to prevent escalating tension.

For more on the international response, we turn to Oh Jung-hee.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.
