Hello everyone.

I am back with another crazy theory of mine.

Do you remember the scene where Tyrion says that he will give "Harrenhal" to Little

Finger and he says that "It is cursed."

This curse prevents any lord from holding Harrenhal indefinitely.

We know that's true because it has been proven again & again over the years.

Ever since Harren the Black built Harrenhal, many houses like Qoherys, Harroway, Towers,

Strong, Lothston, Whent, Lannister, the Mountain, Bolton etc. have taken over Harrenhal.

NONE of them had been able to hold it for long.

LF also avoided taking a seat at Harrenhal.

I'll read a couple of lines from the books between Sansa and LF in short.

"Joffery gave you Harrenhal.

You are lord in your own right there."

"What a castle it is.

Cavernous halls and ruined towers, ghosts and draughts, ruinous to heat, impossible

to garrison.. and there's that small matter of a curse."

"Curses are only in songs and stories."

"Has someone made a song about Gregor Clegane dying of a poisoned spear thrust?

Or about the sellsword before him, whose limbs Ser Gregor removed a joint at a time?

That one took the castle from ser Amory Lorch, who received it from Lord Tywin.

A bear killed one, your dwarf the other.

Lady Whent has died as well, I hear.

Lothstons, Strongs, Harroways..

Harrenhal has withered every hand to touch it."

As you can see, even LF was scared of the curse.

Did you ever wonder WHO put that curse on Harrenhal?

I have a theory about it.

Unlike my other theories, where I reveal my crazy theory in the end, I'll reveal it

right here because I want you to know where my thoughts are going when I explain my theory.

You might remember how in my Stark Blood video, I compared the magic in the walls of Winterfell

and said that it was similar to the curse of Harrenhal?

Yes, You guessed it right.

I think the green men (or the children of the forest) who are living in the Isle of

faces were the ones who put that curse on Harrenhal.

We know they are still alive because Ser Addam Velaryon and Howland Reed had met them.

I'll post my theory for why Howland Reed went to see the Green Men next week.

I'll also post a top 10 video soon.

Anyways, to understand THIS theory completely, we need take a look at Harrenhal and the riverland's

history.

At first, I thought the curse was cast when Harrenhal was built, because NO ONE has been

able to hold it since it was made.

I thought they cast the curse because along with the reason that the children wanted to

stay hidden in the Isle of Faces, they were also mad because King Harren had cut down

thousands of years old weirwoods to use in his castle.

The pact signed at the Isle of faces also involved that the first men won't cut down

the weirwood trees any more than they already had.

But then when I started looking into it.

I found out that it goes ALL the way back to the Andals.

Harren Hoare or Harren The Black had built Harrenhal on the North Shore of the God's

Eye Lake.

Harren's grandfather Harwyn Hoare was the King of the Iron islands who took the riverlands

from Arrec Durrandon.

Arrec was the last Storm King to rule the riverlands, which was conquered by his ancestor

Arlan Durrandon III, who in turn had taken it from "House Teague."

Before that, house Justman was founded right after the Andals had invaded westeros and

had ruled as the king of the Tridents.

So you can see this pattern didn't just start with Harrenhal.

It went all the way back TILL the Andal's invasion.

But not before it.

So, here's my theory.

After the signing of the pact in the Isle of faces, where the first men and the Children

decided to live peacefully, the order of the green men were created.

According to the pact, the children retained the standing forests and the first men got

the open lands like the coastland, high plains, bright meadows, mountains and boggs etc.

The order of the green men were appointed to keep the isle of the faces safe after the

signing of the pact.

The signing of the Pact marked the end of the Dawn Age and the beginning of the Age

of Heroes.

It marked 4000 years of friendship between the men and the children.

The Pact endured all through the Age of heroes, and the long Night, and the birth of the seven

kingdoms until the Andal invasion.

When the Andals invaded westeros, they burnt out the weirwood groves, hacked down the faces

and slaughtered the children of the forest that they came across.

Everywhere they proclaimed the triumph of the Seven over the old gods.

A hill, now known to the Westerosi as High Heart, was sacred to the children of the forest.

There, the Andal king Erreg the Kinslayer cut down the children's grove of thirty-one

weirwoods.

It is said that the First Men killed half of the children of the forest with bronze

blades, and the Andals finished the job with iron.

So, you can see why the green men living in the Isle of Faces must have felt afraid by

the Andals?

Why they could have felt like they needed to take drastic steps to keep those people

from coming to the isle of faces & doing the same to them?

In order to prevent this from happening to them, I believe they not only cursed Harrenhal,

where the heart tree's face is full of hatred, but they also cursed or put some kind of magic

spell all around the God's eye.

The surroundings of God's eye seemed to have seen many bloody battles, like the Battle

by the Lakeshore, Butcher's Ball, Daemon Targaryen and Aemond's battle above the

God's eye during the Dance of the Dragons, where both the dragons and the dragonriders

had died.

A lot of people died in ALL these battles.

They always seemed occupied with something and didn't have time to even think of going

to the Isle of faces.

In the Mystery Knight of the Dunk and Egg series, Ned the Ferryman didn't like crossing

the lake at night.

The town near God's eye Whitewall was also destroyed.

The town on the southern shore where Yoren had decided to stay the night and to cross

the Gods eye next day to Harrentown was burned down by Amory Lorch and his men.

That was where Arya had saved Jaqen's life.

The curse on Harrenhal was definitely the worse but the magic around the shore of the

Gods eye wasn't that strong because Ser Duncan the Tall HAD crossed God's eye before.

Ser Addam velaryon had flown to the Isle of Faces to seek council from the green men during

the Dance of Dragons.

And Howland Reed had went to meet them and had stayed with them through the winter before

going to the Tourney of Harrenhal.

When I was re-reading COK, and I found a lot more evidences, which proved my Stark blood

theory.

I'll explain them in my Howland Reed video.

Someone said that the wolves had grown bolder than ever around the God's eye.

It'd make sense if there are still children or even the direwolves living in the isle

of Faces.

May be Nymeria can sense them and that made her bolder?

And does this mean that LF's days are numbered?

I have to say I was surprised by so many awesome theories and it was really hard to pick one.

So, I'll give shout out to 2 theories.

I also loved a theory on which I'll make a separate video soon.

So, the first goes to Jesse Johnson, who said this about the statues in the crypts of Winterfell,

" The Sword bare across their laps is them denying guest rights.

That's what that means to meet or be met a lord who has his sword bare across his lap

like Robb and Tyrion when he stopped by on his way from the wall."

May be Bran the Builder did hide something there and only a Stark is welcomed in the

crypts.

That's why the non Starks feel uneasy in the crypts.

I really loved his theory.

The second theory I'd like to give a shout out to is by Sean Killackey, who said, "May

be Little Finger did bring Jaqen H'gar to King's Landing to discuss not only killing

but doing it in a way that would benefit Baratheon and Westeros.

So after Jaqen arrives in King's Landing, he poses as Syrio.

He meets Ned and becomes Arya's trainer.

He escapes Ser Meryn Trant and uses disguise to escape with Yoren."

and I truly understand your need

to keep things personal in an online environment.

I know 'cause 10 years

and now I do this full time.

Keeping things personal in business in an online environment

means that you're gonna be including video

but there's a little more to it

than just hitting the record button.

You need to look like you know what you're doing.

My name is Kari Driskell

and I'm with Driskotech

and I help incredible direct sellers and small businesses

I teach you how to edit video.

We like to have fun

because no one comes to Facebook for stuffy stuff.

Educate, sling the bling

and be entertaining at the same time.

Let people connect with you.

There is so much research out there

that just proves that you as a small business

should be doing video in your business

but this is not gonna be that video.

How about you just believe me

and then let's get to the good stuff,

how I can help you and give you some tips and stuff.

First of all, you need to be making your own videos.

Yes, your jewelry company is making amazing videos

for you to share.

Don't get me wrong, they are awesome

and there's a time and a place

for you to share those videos

but let me tell ya,

everyone's sharin' those videos, everyone is

and you're just not another rep.

They can buy jewelry from anyone, right,

like any of the jewelry ladies they could buy jewelry from

but they buy and work with you

because, well, you,

so you want to brand yourself

and you want to market yourself

and that means letting people get to know you

and the best way to do that

is in an online environment is through video.

So make your own videos and use your face

and incorporate your personality.

It's okay that maybe you don't have a personality like mine,

it's okay, there's a lot of people who don't like this

and you just gotta be okay with it, I am.

I mean, personally I'm kind of like what's wrong with them

but you know, you know what I'm sayin'.

But when you use video you want your personality

to shine through.

You want to increase that whole know, like and trust factor

in an online environment, video's the way to go,

plus, you're increasing your reach and your engagement

and just like anything else you would post in social media,

your videos don't and shouldn't always be about your product

or your service.

We don't want to hear things like,

buy my jewelry, book a show, join my team

every time you make a post or make a video.

Any time you post or make a video

it says to people, hey, I'm Kari

and don't forget I sell jewelry

without having to say, hey, I'm Kari,

don't forget to buy my jewelry.

You know what I mean?

If you need content ideas

I do have a free gift that will give you

what you're looking for.

It'll only cost you your email.

But what if you want me to come in your inbox,

party in your inbox.

So you know you need to be making videos

so you just press record and go, right?

Here are a few tips for you.

Look at the camera.

Know where the camera is, make eye contact with your viewer,

because if you're looking at the wrong place

then you are looking at like over the viewer's shoulder

and that's just not cool

but you're looking at it

just to make sure that you, no one sees the double chin

and that you look your best on camera

but everyone else is going, who is she looking at?

She's looking over my shoulder.

Stabilize your phone or however you're recording

'cause nobody needs to take a motion sickness pill

by watching your videos.

They're cheaper than you think.

Use a flattering angle.

No one wants to see up your nose.

Use your frame wisely.

This is your frame.

If you get nervous when you're going to press record

then stand up.

By standing up it raises your testosterone

and that's gonna be more confident

and that's what people are gonna see.

Write a script, I'm not talkin' word for word.

I am talking bullet points.

That allows your heart to talk in your message

and keeps you genuine on video.

See, I even scripted out bullet points for this video.

Even on the short ones.

Pretend like your phone is your best friend

or Ryan Gosling

because we're more coy and we have more fun

when we talk to Ryan Gosling or our best friend.

My phone's name is Melissa.

Be aware of what's behind you.

I have a backdrop because of what I do with Driskotech

but as a business owner

there are certain things

you don't want to have in your background.

Don't be one of those videos.

And please, have some decent lighting.

I work in the basement, I have space for it

and I work in video

so I have two soft box lights

but even something like this from Amazon for only $10

is great if you need some extra lighting help

but natural lighting works fabulous.

Just face a window.

You also want to bring value in your video.

You sell jewelry and you wanna sell 50 of every necklace

every time you share a video (laughs)

but people don't come to Facebook to be sold to.

Bring them some other value.

You have tips and tricks on fashion, period, don't you

or other things in life.

What are the things that you know and know well?

Make a video with three to five different pointers

about fashion and how to look your best

when you leave the house

and make sure one of those points

is something like big earrings and sunglasses

and then you say click here

to go and see my favorite earrings

and they all happen to be big earrings that you sell.

Kari, that's brilliant.

I know.

Here's another thing,

let's talk Facebook parties specifically.

There is a place for Facebook Live in your Facebook parties,

there is, there truly truly is

but it's not the video

where you show all the jewelry, it's not.

Use Facebook Live,

something that gives you realtime interaction

in your introductions,

welcome to the party,

let's comment with something we love about our hostess.

This is how the party works.

Now we're gonna do our drawing or giveaway

or now we're gonna have a Q&A about the opportunity.

Every question gives you an extra ticket into the drawing.

Or if you show one awesome necklace

and then like a pre-party post, stuff like that,

but not the video that shows all the jewelry.

That one you edit.

In my professional opinion as a video person

and as my personal opinion

as someone who attends a lot of Facebook parties,

I don't have time to watch your long video

about all the jewelry that you love.

'Cause let's face it, we can talk about the jewelry

all day, all night, it's gonna be long

and I don't have time for that.

I mean, not during Facebook party times, right,

'cause normally the kids are asleep in bed

and late at night when I'm doing that

but they come out and they interrupt

so now I have to leave

and I jump in and I jump out

and I miss things

and you want 'em to see all the jewelry right

not just hop around.

Hop around, jump around, jump jump.

If I'm gonna watch your live video from start to finish

then you know what, I would much rather

be at an in-home party eating their drinks,

eating their food and drinking their drinks

and visiting with people in real life.

I mean, the whole perk of a Facebook party

is that I'm shopping from home

without my bra on

and for you as a jewelry lady,

you don't have your bra on either.

You can be a total hot mess, I mean,

that's the whole idea, right?

Convenience and flexibility

but you still want to build those personal relationships

and you're gonna do that in video in an edited video,

plus, you can show a ton more jewelry

in an edited video.

If you do it live you've got a 45 minute video

but if you edit you can whittle it down

to three, four, five minutes,

plus, there's tech issues with live or dogs bark

or kids walk in

and now you're wasting your party guests' time.

You can only be so fun in a live video

but when you edit it's so much more entertaining.

But Kari, do I have to edit?

No, I'm just sayin' you can show more jewelry,

you can look like you know what you're doing

and you will stand out from the rest of the crowd,

yes you will.

Facebook Stories, Facebook Camera Effects and Facebook Direct - Duration: 2:30.

Starting this week on iOS and Android, you can tap on the camera icon on the top left

corner of the Facebook app or swipe right from News Feed to try out the new in-app camera.

Today, I'm going to tell you the story of Prophet Ibrahim (as).

Are you ready?

Yes!

Prophet Ibrahim(as) plays a very important role in Islam.

He fulfilled all the commandments

and trials God gave him during his life.

As a result of his unwavering faith,

He was promised by God

to be a leader of all the nations in the world.

Now lets start his story.

Bismillah!

The Story of Prophet Ibrahim (as)

Prophet Ibraham (as) was born in the kingdom of Babylon

a long long time ago!

He was blessed with wisdom

even when he was a child,

and this made him very very special!

The Prophet was born during a time

when the people worshipped the sun,

the moon, the stars and they worshipped

even the idols made out of stone!

Ibrahim's father was a sculptor,

and he used to make the idols with his own hands!

His father never used to worship Allah(swt) at all!

As a child, he used to sit and watch his father

carving out these statues from stone.

Ibrahim (as) got curious about these funny looking statues,

and sometimes he used to play with them!

But when he saw the same statue in temples,

he got confused.

He wondered why the people were prostrating before these stone idols,

so he decided to ask his father about it.

One day, when his father was carving a statue of Mardukh,

the Prophet asked his father.

"Baba, why are people worshipping these toys

that you are making yourself?"

"They represent our gods" His father replied.

"We should worship them to get favours from Gods".

"Why does it have such big ears Baba?"

the Prophet asked

"This statue is the god of gods, the Mardukh"

He replied.

The big ears represent his deep knowledge.

Even though Ibrahim(as) was only seven years old at that time,

he couldn't control his laughter!

As time went by,

Ibrahim(as) grew with knowledge and wisdom.

He knew that Allah(swt) was the only true God.

His hatred for the idols increased as he grew older.

Ibrahim(as) had now turned 16 years old.

Whenever he went to the temple along with his father,

he was sad to see his people still praying to the idols.

He saw that the people were offering sacrifices

seeking forgiveness of their sins.

One day Ibrahim(as), left his home in search of Allah(swt),

the true God.

He walked for a very long time,

and finally he reached a mountain nearby.

He climbed the mountain, and sat near a cave nearby.

He sat there for a very long time,

and when he looked up,

he saw a shining star!

When he saw the beauty of the star,

he wondered if this star could be Allah(swt).

But after a while, the star disappeared!

He realized that the star was not Allah(swt),

as the true God will never set or disappear.

After a while, the moon came up.

The moon was very very beautiful,

so Ibrahim(as) wondered if the moon could be Allah(swt).

He sat there gazing at the moon for a long time,

but after a few hours,

when the moon disappeared from the horizon,

he realized that the moon was not Allah(swt).

Ibrahim(as) was disappointed,

but he continued to sit there

on the top of the mountain watching the horizon.

It was early morning by now,

and that was when the sun came up!

He looked at the bright sun,

and wondered again if this could be Allah(swt) as it was bigger,

and very bright!

But by evening, when the sun set in the horizon,

he realized that it was not Allah(swt),

as the true God would never set.

It was then that Ibrahim(as) realized

that the true god can never be created!

He understood that Allah(swt) is the creator of everything

even the sun, the moon and the stars!

He then prostrated on the ground offering his thanks.

He knew that Allah(swt) had just guided him to the truth!

It was then that he realized that Allah(swt)

had chosen him to be a Prophet!

God had chosen him to guide his people!

It was going to be a new life for Prophet Ibrahim (as).

He then travelled back home to tell his father

about the great news.

But when his father heard what he was saying,

he got very very angry!

"How dare you reject my gods?" he asked angrily

"O my father, follow me.

I will guide you on the right path,

Allah(swt) will punish you if you don't repent!"

The Prophet pleaded with his father

"I will ask people to stone you if you don't stop speaking like this"

His father shouted at him

The Prophet was then asked to leave the house by his father.

Ibrahim(as) was sad for his father,

for he had turned him away.

He realized he could do nothing more,

so left home and walked away.

He then went to the other people in his kingdom,

to guide them!

He realized that it was his mission to call people back to Allah(swt)!

Ibrahim(as) went to the market and shouted to them.

"Allah(swt) is the one and only true God.

There is no other God, but Allah(swt).

There is nobody worthy of worship except him.

I will not bow down to the idols anymore.

The people at the market got really angry

when they heard him speak like this.

"Why do you worship these idols" he asked them.

"Don't you realize that they have no power?"

The people threatened him to go away,

so Ibrahim(as) had to leave the market.

But the Prophet thought of a plan

to show them that the idols were not real Gods.

One day there was a big celebration near the river bank,

and the Prophet knew that everyone in the city

would be present there.

The Prophet waited

till he was sure that there was nobody left in the town.

He then took an axe,

and went inside the temple.

There were many idols kept inside the temple,

and the Prophet started smashing the idols with his Axe!!

One by one, he smashed all the idols,

except for one,

that was the biggest idol inside the temple.

He hung the axe around the neck of this statue,

and left the temple.

The next day,

when the people of the town came to the temple to worship,

they were shocked to see the idols smashed into pieces!

The pieces were lying around, all over the place.

They gathered together and discussed

who could have done this terrible act.

"There was a young man at the market yesterday"

one of them said.

"He was speaking against our gods"

"I know this person-

His name was Ibrahim" said the other

The people found Prophet Ibrahim(as),

and brought him to the temple.

"Are you the one who has done these to our Gods?"

They asked him

"It was the statue here, yes that big one"

the Prophet replied.

"Why don't you ask him,

he will tell you if he can speak"

This angered the people further.

"You know very well that these idols do not speak."

Then Prophet Ibrahim(as) said

"Then why do you worship these idols who cannot speak,

nor do they see or hear.

Have you lost your minds?"

The people were ashamed and looked around,

and saw the shattered pieces of idols lying everywhere.

Some of them realized that Ibrahim(as) was saying the truth.

But the others were still very angry with him

"Punish him" they shouted.

They wanted to take revenge for shattering the idols!

They tied him in chains,

and gathered around to discuss how

they were going to punish the Prophet.

"Lets burn him in fire"

one of them said.

"Lets build the biggest fire anyone has ever seen,

and throw him into it.

Everyone thought it was a great idea.

The people of Babylon then started building a fire so large

that even the birds could not fly above it.

It was so hot that the people couldn't go near it

Masha Allah!

That was such a great story!

It was Option B,

He was a sculptor!

Hmm.. Right again!

Now for the next question,

Tell me why was the Prophet asked to leave from the house?

The Prophet refused to worship the idols,

and this made his father very angry.

That's why his father asked him to leave the house.

Isn't that right Baba?

That's correct my son!

Why were the people of Babylon angry at the Prophet?

The Prophet wanted to teach the people of Babylon a lesson,

so he smashed all the idols they worshipped.

Masha Allah, that's the right answer!
