Youtube daily can Jun 15 2017

Hey, hey, everybody.

Shaun Hadsall here, the owner and founder of getleanin12.com.

And inside this short fat loss video,

I'm going to introduce you to four

wildly popular healthy foods that can increase fat storage.

And this is a common mistake.

Whenever I review a food journal of a local client

that I work with, they usually are abusing these four foods.

And as a result, it ends up taking your body out

of a calorie deficit.

So even though they're healthy, you

have to monitor your portion sizes

very carefully for a few reasons that I'm

going to share with you.

Now those four foods are-- the first one is nuts.

The second one is peanut butter.

The third one is cheese.

And the fourth one is the wildly popular yogurt.

So let's talk about why all four of these healthy diet foods

can potentially make you store more belly fat.

So the first thing that you need to understand

is that when you look at a label on nuts, peanut

butter, and cheese and you analyze the label--

most people think that these three foods are protein when

in reality, they're really friendly fats, because when you

look at the label, typically, on nuts and peanut butter,

you're going to see almost three times-- at least two to three

times as much fat grams as you are protein grams.

So although there's a small amount

of protein in nuts and peanut butter and even cheese,

it's mostly friendly fats.

It's the same thing with cheese.

When you look at the label of a cheese,

you're going to see the fat content is going to be more

than the protein content.

So not only that, especially in the nuts and peanut butter,

it's incomplete protein, because it doesn't contain all nine

essential amino acids.

Now that's not necessarily a bad thing.

But all the research and published science

behind protein intake is done on complete animal proteins, not

incomplete proteins.

So nuts, peanut butter, and cheeses

are mostly friendly fats and not protein.

And the reason why they can make you fatter

is because fats yield over double the calories

as carbs and protein.

So for every carb and protein gram

you eat, it only yields 4 calories per gram.

For every gram of fat you eat, it yields 9 calories per gram.

So it's very easy to abuse the portion

sizes of nuts and peanut butter and cheese

and take your body out of a calorie deficit.

So although these are healthy foods,

you want to monitor your portion sizes very carefully.

You want to use raw nuts and raw nut butters,

whether it's peanut butter or almond butter.

And you want to use raw, grass-fed cheese.

And you want to use small amounts--

so a handful of nuts, a tablespoon or two

of peanut butter, a small amount of cheese-- a

sprinkle, a couple ounces, not a lot.

So although these foods are very, very healthy for you,

you need to monitor your portion sizes very carefully.

Now yogurt brings the same problem, just

in a different way.

If you look at a tub-- a small tub, a single serving

size of one small tub of fat-free yogurt,

you're typically going to find about 42 grams of sugar.

If you divide 6 into 42, that equals 7.

That's 7 teaspoons of sugar dumped into that one

little tub of yogurt.

That's an insulin-spiking, fat-storing nightmare.

Now most people will go, that's OK, I buy sugar-free.

Well, it's going to be an OK diet food for you.

But sugar-free yogurt-- this typically

has artificial sweeteners, and it's loaded with chemicals.

Now here's the big myth about most over-the-counter yogurts--

most of them don't have the probiotics that you need,

because they are destroyed when the food is processed.

So that's why you want to always try to find raw dairy.

Like, for example, people who are lactose intolerant,

if they eat raw, grass-fed cheese,

they'll actually get the enzymes they

need to digest the lactose.

So it can actually improve their lactose intolerance.

So with yogurt, you want to stick

with Greek, non-flavored, organic yogurt

as much as possible.

Stay away from sugar-free.

And I even recommend that you stay away from fat-free,

obviously, because that's where the sugar's at.

So these are the reasons why these four healthy foods

can increase fat storage.

You can still include them in your diet.

Just make the right choices, and make

sure you monitor your portion sizes very carefully.

So thanks for watching this.

If you got something out of it, please hit the Like button

and share it.

And then as a gift for watching this, somewhere around

this video, you'll see a link that you

can click or tap to get a download called "The

Over 40 Stubborn Fat Sequence."

So you simply enter your email, you go onto our email list,

and we will follow up with you.

If you don't get the free report right away,

make sure you check your spam folder,

because email deliverability is becoming very difficult

in today's day and age, because the ISPs are

making it very hard to get into people's inbox.

So make sure you check your spam folder.

And inside this free report called "The Over 40 Stubborn

Fat Sequence," you're going to be introduced

to a 12-minute workout that is specifically

designed for the hormonal condition of people

over 35 years old.

So if you're in your 40s, 50s, or 60s,

this report is going to show you why you must move differently

than younger people.

Workout routines like P90X, CrossFit, Insanity--

these are amazing workouts for fat loss and for muscle gains.

But they're designed for younger people,

and they can actually be more harmful to people

over 35 years old because of the rapidly declining fat loss

hormones.

And these 12-minute metabolic tricks

are going to show you how you can reactivate those declining

fat loss hormones, elevate your metabolism for up to two days

after one 12-minute session.

And when it's done properly, the published science

and the research shows it can increase growth hormone levels

450% to 700%.

So thanks for watching this, and keep going strong.

It's the dynamite!!!

Where's a lighter?

Now, I am learning the process of creating dynamite.

Nitrogen is the chemical material that creates an explosive.

I like his sense of humor. It makes things more fun for all of us.

It's called a black powder.

It's sensitive to any flame. Thus, it can be lit easily.

It's a cigarette.

It has an orange peel inside a cigarette.

And there's also one thing inside a cigarette. I don't know the word.

It's clearly a tobacco cigarette.

I don't smoke at all.

Interesting.

It tastes different than original cigarettes we had in the United States.

Do you want to get a taste, Justin?

Definitely it's a cigarette.

The reason they smoke cigarettes is whenever they come down and do the mining.

They usually throw some dynamites. Once it exploded, it has poison smog.

You have to smoke a cigarette to prevent yourself from getting sick with a poison smog.

Potosi is the only city that is allowed to sell dynamite in the world!

Can you imagine that??

They included Julian Draxler, Antonio Rudiger and Jonas Hector - with all three praising Cans ability and his personality away from the pitch.

Paris Saint-Germain star Draxler said: He is very positive. I like him a lot. Hes a fighter, a machine, very strong in the tackle.. Roma defender Rudiger thinks Can is the complete package in the centre of midfield.

Emre Can in action against Middlesbrough in the Premier League at Anfield. Just his physical presence, says the defender. As well as his close control and technique. They are all so good.

The good thing is he is still so young, so he can develop further. Hector adds: Emre Can? Hes a very laid-back guy that you can have a good laugh with.

Hes unintentionally funny, I have a good laugh with him and at him!.

What can you learn from ancient skeletons? - Farnaz Khatibi - Duration: 4:08.

Between 2008 and 2012,

archeologists excavated the rubble of an ancient hospital in England.

In the process, they uncovered a number of skeletons.

One in particular belonged to a wealthy male

who lived in the 11th or 12th century

and died of leprosy between the ages of 18 and 25.

How do we know all this?

Simply by examining some old, soil-caked bones?

Even centuries after death,

skeletons carry unique features that tell us about their identities.

And using modern tools and techniques, we can read those features as clues.

This is a branch of science known as biological anthropology.

It allows researchers to piece together details about ancient individuals

and identify historical events that affected whole populations.

When researchers uncover a skeleton,

some of the first clues they gather, like age and gender,

lie in its morphology,

which is the structure, appearance, and size of a skeleton.

Bones, like the clavicle, stop growing at age 25,

so a skeleton with a clavicle that hasn't fully formed

must be younger than that.

Similarly, the plates in the cranium can continue fusing up to age 40,

and sometimes beyond.

By combining these with some microscopic skeletal clues,

physical anthropologists can estimate an approximate age of death.

Meanwhile, pelvic bones reveal gender.

Biologically, female pelvises are wider, allowing women to give birth,

where as males are narrower.

Bones also betray the signs of ancient disease.

Disorders like anemia leave their traces on the bones.

And the condition of teeth can reveal clues

to factors like diet and malnutrition,

which sometimes correlate with wealth or poverty.

A protein called collagen can give us even more profound details.

The air we breathe,

water we drink,

and food we eat

leaves permanent traces in our bones and teeth

in the form of chemical compounds.

These compounds contain measurable quantities called isotopes.

Stable isotopes in bone collagen and tooth enamel varies among mammals

dependent on where they lived and what they ate.

So by analyzing these isotopes,

we can draw direct inferences regarding the diet and location of historic people.

Not only that, but during life,

bones undergo a constant cycle of remodeling.

So if someone moves from one place to another,

bones synthesized after that move

will also reflect the new isotopic signatures of the surrounding environment.

That means that skeletons can be used like migratory maps.

For instance, between 1-650 AD,

the great city of Teotihuacan in Mexico bustled with thousands of people.

Researchers examined the isotope ratios in skeletons' tooth enamel,

which held details of their diets when they were young.

They found evidence for significant migration into the city.

A majority of the individuals were born elsewhere.

With further geological and skeletal analysis,

they may be able to map where those people came from.

That work in Teotihuacan is also an example of how bio-anthropologists

study skeletons in cemeteries and mass graves,

then analyze their similarities and differences.

>From that information, they can learn about cultural beliefs,

social norms,

wars,

and what caused their deaths.

Today, we use these tools to answer big questions about how forces,

like migration and disease,

shape the modern world.

DNA analysis is even possible in some relatively well-preserved ancient remains.

That's helping us understand how diseases like tuberculosis

have evolved over the centuries

so we can build better treatments for people today.

Ancient skeletons can tell us a surprisingly great deal about the past.

So if your remains are someday buried intact,

what might archeologists of the distant future learn from them?

Can more U.S. troops in Afghanistan help end the war? - Duration: 7:19.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The Trump administration, as you heard, is taking steps to increasing America's

military presence in Afghanistan, after years of reducing U.S. forces there.

William Brangham has the story.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Since taking office, the Trump administration has been conducting a

review of America's 16-year war in Afghanistan.

The current U.S. commander there, General John Nicholson, has recommended sending 3,000

to 5,000 more troops to augment the 10,000 Americans and 3,000 allied forces that are

already in the country.

Today, Defense Secretary James Mattis announced that the president had now given him the authority

to decide appropriate troop levels.

For more on all of this, we turn to retired Lieutenant General Douglas Lute.

He served on the National Security Council staffs in both the George W. Bush and Barack

Obama administrations, where he focused on Afghanistan, Iraq, and South Asia.

For the past four years, he served as U.S. ambassador to NATO, and he's now a senior

fellow at Harvard University.

Welcome to the "NewsHour."

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE (RET.), Former U.S. Ambassador to NATO: Good to be here.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: So, let's talk first off about this decision by the president to hand

General -- or Secretary of Defense James Mattis the decision-making for troop levels.

How unusual is that?

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Well, it is unusual, but I think we should first appreciate that we should

have confidence in the entire Pentagon chain of command, starting with Secretary Mattis,

but all the way down through Central Command, and then ultimately to General Nicholson,

Mick Nicholson, who you mentioned, who is our commander, four-star commander in Afghanistan.

So, this is a very experienced team, responsible individuals.

They're going to take this, this new authority seriously.

I also think there is a logic.

There is a rationale to providing the Pentagon some flexibility.

It gives them more agility to fit the number of troops to the task in Afghanistan, and

that all makes sense.

It does, however, raise one concern, and that's the concern that strategy is made up of a

lot more than just the Pentagon piece.

And so I would be concerned, or I would be interested in hearing how the administration

intends to make sure that the other pieces, the political side of the equation, the diplomatic

equation, the economic assistance equation, the intelligence community's role, how all

these various pieces are fit together in a coherent hole.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Well, you raise a very good question, because, traditionally, we think

of a strategy being set from the top, from the president, with advice from all of the

relevant agencies below.

What do you think this does to the decision-making process for a country like Afghanistan?

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Well, I think it's too soon to tell.

The traditional role is that the National Security Council would have this oversight

role, this coordinating role, to make sure that the strategy stays aligned over time

and that all the pieces relate to one another in a coherent way.

It's not clear whether this move to give additional authorities, additional autonomy to the Pentagon

is just the opening step, or whether there will still be a role for the NSC, the National

Security Council, led by H.R. McMaster, to oversee the whole process.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: So, we have said Mattis and Nicholson both believe that more U.S.

troops to Afghanistan is a good idea.

Do you share that belief?

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Well, I think a few more -- a few thousand or even 10,000 more U.S. troops...

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Ten thousand more?

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: I'm saying that I think that, hypothetically, an increase on that scale,

let's say, for example, a doubling of U.S. troops -- there are some 8,500 there now -- can

help sustain the current security stalemate.

But I don't believe that troops alone will actually be decisive in the end.

Troops alone can't win this war.

Troops alone will not remove the stalemate.

The stalemate fundamentally rests on the political side of the equation.

So, alongside any military surge, any -- the addition of any number of U.S. troops, I will

be very interested to hear the administration's ambitions in terms of how they're going to

deal with the politics.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Well, explain what the challenges are there for the politics in Afghanistan.

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Well, I look at this as a three-part equation on the political side.

So, first of all, inside the Afghan government itself, here you have zero-sum politics among

the different national players.

You have a high level of corruption.

You have the patronage network.

You have a long period of time where you have actually had stalemate from the central government

itself.

Second, you have stalemate between Afghanistan and its neighboring states, most prominently

Pakistan, but not just Pakistan.

We only have to look at the map and see the geographic equation here, which includes Iran

to the west, Central Asia, and Russia to the north, and beyond, to the northeast China,

and further to the east, India.

So this is a very complex regional diplomatic equation.

All those players I have just mention have some impact on what happens inside Afghanistan.

And then, ultimately, to bring this war to a conclusion, a political end, which the military

equation should be in support of, it involves politics between the Afghan government and

the Taliban, the opponent.

And so on all three of these fronts, inside Kabul, in the region, and between the government

and the insurgents, there's a real need for a political surge.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Among those neighbors, Pakistan obviously looms very large in Afghanistan,

and provide a consistent safe haven for the Taliban that are waging this massive insurgency

in the country.

How can the U.S. get Pakistan to help us in that fight?

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Well, first of all, I think you have to place our requirements, our demands

on Pakistan in this part of the arena, that is, their support for the Taliban, in the

context of our other interests in Pakistan.

And we actually have several interests in Pakistan which I think surpass our interest

in dealing with the Afghan Taliban.

I would label Pakistan's internal stability itself.

Here you have more than 180 million Pakistanis in a country where you have not just the Afghan

Taliban, but the Pakistani Taliban, remnants of al-Qaida, and other regional terrorist

groups, all of which threaten the stability of the state.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: A nuclear-powered state.

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: And a state which has the fastest growing, the fastest expanding nuclear arsenal

in the world.

So, that very dangerous cocktail of terrorists, extremists, and nuclear weapons is actually

probably more of a vital national interest to us than Pakistan's support for the Afghan

Taliban.

So, there's a large array of complex interests here which are at play.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Even if the administration articulates a strategy, do you think that

this administration can execute that strategy?

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Well, I think, right now, they're working with a handicap.

And that is, while the National Security Council itself, those who set strategy and overwatch

the strategy, is largely in place, the implementers of the strategy are largely not in place,

because they have a large number of vacancies among those officials who are yet to be nominated

and confirmed by the Senate, especially in the Defense Department and the State Department.

WILLIAM BRANGHAM: Former Ambassador Douglas Lute, thank you very much.

LT.

GEN.

DOUGLAS LUTE: Thank you.

Roma suggest Mohamed Salah can join Liverpool – as long as they have a replacement lined up

Romas new director of football Monchi has spoken out amid speculation Mohamed Salah could be set for a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Salah, 24, who struggled to make an impact during a disastrous spell at Chelsea, has turned his career around in Italy and scored 19 goals in 41 appearances for Roma in all competitions this season.

Reports suggest Liverpool are preparing to launch a £35m bid for Salah after their initial offer was rejected and its understood the Egyptian winger is keen on a move to Anfield ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

Monchi confirmed interest from the Premier League, stating: Its true there is interest in Salah from an English club, there is an offer, but we set the price and we decide if we sell at that price.

The former Sevilla chief went on to suggest that Roma could be open to selling Salah as long as they have a ready-made replacement waiting in the wings.

He added: Roma is not a supermarket. Our aim is to get better than last season. We need to keep together the best possible squad. There is no team in the world game that does not sell at least one player.

As I said, the problem is not to sell; the problem is to buy badly: if one leaves he will have to be replaced properly.

Microsoft - Sony can't compete with the Xbox One X - Trending News 247 - Duration: 3:02.

Microsoft - Sony can't compete with the Xbox One X

Once the Xbox One X hits stores later this year, both Microsoft and Sony will have launched three flavors of their home game consoles.

The PS4, PS4 Slim, and PS4 Pro would seem to match up nicely with the Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X.

Microsoft apparently doesn't feel that way at all, and in a recent interview, Xbox head Phil Spencer made it clear that be believes the Xbox One X has no competitor at all.

Speaking with Eurogamer, Spencer's stance on the current Playstation vs. Xbox rival is made abundantly clear.

When asked about whether or not Microsoft is concerned about the Xbox One X coming in at a price $100 higher than that of the PS4 Pro, he took a somewhat predictable angle.

"I look at Pro as more of a competitor to S than I do to Xbox One X," Spencer said. "This is a true 4K console.

If you just look at the specs of what this box is, it's in a different league than any other console that's out there.".

In terms of specs, Spencer definitely has a point. The Xbox One X is the more powerful console when compared to the PS4 Pro — and for $100 more, it absolutely has to be.

That being said, quantifying how much more capable a console should be for that $100 premium is basically impossible.

The One X does support 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, which is a huge bonus for a lot of consumers, especially if they own a 4K TV but haven't yet invested in a standalone 4K Blu-ray player.

Ultimately the sales figures will show whether or not the value is truly in Microsoft's favor, or if gamers will opt for the more robust selection of first-party exclusives and third-party exclusive content that the PS4 has benefited from since its launch.

ESSENTIAL TO HAVE

YOUR WHOLE FAMILY

TAKE PART IN THE

EMERGENCY PLAN.

"Getting them involved,

that really is a big deal,

that sets them up to be

prepared when they

become adults.

You need to have a

communications plan for

you and your family. How

are you going to

communicate, where are

you going to meet each

other if something

happens to the house, is

it going to be in the yard,

is it going to be at

Grandma's house 20

miles away?

We need to make sure

that you have 2 places,

one within the area of

the home, and one

outside of the area,

outside of the

neighborhood. If there's

a housefire, you need to

have a meeting point

outside the house, where

everybody's going to go.

For me, when I was

growing up, it was what

my mom referred to as

the courtyard, which was

a strip of grass in the

front of the house. You

want to prepare yourself

to be self sustaining for

the first 72 hours after a

disaster, that's so

important that you have

enough water.

One of the things that

you can do is fill the

bathtub up with water, so

you can flush the toilet.

You want to have food

items that are non

perishable. You want to

make sure that you're

checking on the elderly.

Especially within your

community, make sure

you're checking on them,

because they may not be

able to do a lot of the

things that they need to

to take care of

themselves."

OTHERS.

WHEN YOU SEE AN

CONTACT YOUR

AGENCY, OR COUNTY

EXTENSION OFFICE.

FOLLOWING STORM

EVENTS IN RECENT

YEARS, HUSTON

EXPLAINS SOME

COMMON MISTAKES

MADE DURING ANIMAL

DISASTER RESPONSE.

"What we saw

happening, is citizens

would go buy big bags of

grain and fly spray.

And the problem is,

dietary changes are

harmful to animals, and

what we actually saw,

were a lot of horses were

colicing because they

were given a lot of grain

too fast and too quickly.

Hay is pretty safe for

either horses or cattle.

Some good fresh hay,

and fresh water is pretty

safe.

Animals that are held

without water for long

periods of time, and then

given large amounts of

water suddenly can

actually go into renal

failure due to salt toxicity.

So if you're not sure if

an animal has had fresh

water within the last

couple hours, always

introduce fresh water

slowly, until you know

their bodies can adjust to

that.

Putting something out

on social media often

provides misinformation,

or miscommunication,

and there's no way to

know where the needs

really are.

For example, we had a

situation last year, where

somebody said, hey I

need help with my, my

horses are going to

drown.

And next thing you

know, you've got ten

trailers show up.

If you need assistance

in terms of your livestock

from a natural disaster,

8 Parenting Behaviors That Can Harm Your Child's Future - Duration: 4:58.

Every parent genuinely wants their children to grow up to be successful.

We try our best to teach them values, good work ethic and responsibility.

However, sometimes certain parenting techniques can unknowingly hold children back from just

that.

Today we will discuss some parenting behaviors that can unintentionally keep our children

from thriving.

1.

Over-coddling

One job we have, as parents, is to teach our children how to live in society as a productive

adult.

This includes teaching them chores at an early age.

If you are doing your teenager's laundry and cleaning their room, you just may need

to cut the cord a bit.

We do this a lot of the time because we like to feel needed.

We know that soon enough they will be heading off to college and they won't need us.

Well, guess what?

No one is going to do their laundry or clean up their dorm room.

Help them to develop these skills.

2.

Discouraging New Things

Sure, we may be nervous when children begin a new sport because we do not want to see

them get hurt or to fail.

But, we also know that we learn the best from the mistakes that we make.

This goes for children, as well.

By not allowing them to branch out and try new things, we are restricting their skill

set and not doing them any justice in life.

3.

Discouraging Friendships

No one wants to see their child fall into a group of children who are not the best influence.

But, telling them not to associate with these children will both encourage them to do it

more and will hinder their ability to socially navigate friendships.

Now, there is a fine line here.

If you know that these children commit crimes or use drugs or anything else harmful, you

need to sit down and have an honest discussion with your child.

At the end of the day, you have no control over who they talk to in school or on the

bus, so you need to help them build this skill set and choose for themselves who they wish

to be around.

In this, encourage them to build strong, trusting friendships.

They will help your child build a strong social support system.

4.

Praising Small Things

You should always be proud of your child and let them know when you are.

However, raise the bar as they age.

While praising a toddler for using the bathroom is appropriate, it is not for a school-aged

child.

They should not look to your approval and praise for going to the bathroom.

Instead, choose larger accomplishments that will motivate them, such as getting good grades

or accomplishing a difficult skill in a sport.

5.

Overly Strict

Of course, it is important to have set rules and consequences for your children.

However, per the University College London, parenting that rises to the level of 'harsh,'

can negatively affect your children's conduct and self-control.

As children learn and grow, it is important that they experience more freedom so that

they can practice their skills in a safe environment.

Those not given this opportunity, will be behind the eight ball in their later years.

6.

Helicoptering

Watching your child's every move negatively affects them in several ways.

First, they get annoyed at you because, really?

Who likes anyone hovering over them?

Second, it kills their self-confidence.

It tells them that Mommy and Daddy do not trust them and that Mommy and Daddy do not

have the confidence that they can do it.

This will lead a child to not take risks in life and constantly look for reassurance that

they are doing something correct.

7.

Not Practicing What You Preach

Children watch you much more than they hear you.

You may tell them to be nice to others, but if you then get into an argument with another

parent or exhibit road rage, that teaches them something different.

They will become confused and will not be sure which to believe.

It may also diminish a level of trust for you, as you are not being consistent.

8.

Discouraging Emotions

It is important for your children to see and hear how you deal with your negative emotions.

We all have them and we can all agree that life is not happy-go-lucky all of the time.

Hiding your tears, your anger or your hurt will do no justice to your child.

Sure, you may want to spare them from seeing you upset and of course they do not need to

know every detail of what is bothering you, but it is important that they know parents

get upset, too.

Adults get hurt, angry, sad, and this is how they appropriately deal with those emotions.

Are you guilty of any of these parenting behaviors that are easy to fall into?

Do you plan to make any changes?

Continue this discussion in our comment section.
