Backup emails by Google Takeout - Duration: 3:51.

Oh yes Liam.

I know that when a student leaves the college, their Gmail account will be disabled

Do you know any way for them to backup their emails and documents in Google drive?

Yes, I do have a solution

First, Go to "My Account"

then choose "Personal info & privacy"

then scroll down to the bottom. In "Control you Content", choose "Create Archive"

Inside you will see a Google screen, including a list of "Google Application"

like Google Drive, Google Photos, Gmail, etc.

You can use Google Takeout to select what information you would like to backup

by checking the corresponding applications on right hand side.

For example, if you just want to backup Google Drive and Gmail...

You can first click "Select none" to "deselect" all items, then choose Google Drive and Gmail...

After you're done with the selection, click "Next"

Then you can choose the backup file type, like zip format

choose backup location, for example, "Send download link via email"

you will then receive an email with download instructions.

Click "Create Archive"

Google Takeout will start the backup process

When the backup is done, you will receive an email notifying you the download location

It is that simple

Liam, thank you for introducing Google Takeout to us. Students are reminded to...

...to backup the email or documents in your HSMC Google account before it expires

If there are some questions or problems regarding "Google Takeout" you are welcomed to contact us.

Get Serious with Google to help your local Wisconsin/Michigan business - Duration: 3:05.

So thanks for taking a moment

to watch my video and I

apologize for my face here

last week and a half I've had

poison ivy or oak or sumac

reaction that's just absolutely

been atrocious as you can see.

So anyway I wanted

to talk a little bit today

about what does it take in

order to bring in customers on

a local level.

Forty years ago it was the

yellow pages if you missed your

deadline you were done.

You kind of you're out for the

year.

As you progress with

your scale of your business

you can afford more and you get

bigger ads and quarter pages

and full pages and half pages

and those you know that was the

mark measure of success and

the ability to do that

billboards wherever else.

How do people find your

business today?

People find them through a

variety of means.

Most of what you see behind

me here.

But

one of the biggest ones is

Google. So let's just think

about Google here for a minute.

How often do you use it?

It has a two thirds market

share with search

engine traffic.

And I know personally I mean

I I use it all the time but

most people do if they're

looking at the business looking

at restaurants looking up

anything it's so critically

important that you have

a polished

look and feel and not only that

an authority to what you're

doing there.

It's really critical.

This is just one aspect of many

when it comes to digital

marketing management.

So your Google.

You know I mean if you're

looking for roofing businesses

you're looking for plumbers

you're looking for dog

groomers. It doesn't you know

restaurants.

You want to see authority.

You want to see a polished

clean professional.

You want to see great reviews

and you want to see them and

you want to stand out above

everything else that's out

there and you want to beat your

competition.

It's critical that you do this

it's critical that you get it

done properly.

So please

if you don't reach out to me

at some point you're going

to have to take care of

yourself. And you know

that you specialize

in what you specialize in and I

specialize in what I specialize

in and believe me it's a lot

more affordable than you think

because we're able to do it

remotely and we're able to do

it. I live in the Green Bay

Wisconsin area.

I work with companies all over

the area but we kind of

specialize in Wisconsin.

So if you are looking

for you know that edge on your

competition if you're looking

for that boost in sales you're

looking for the additional

traffic if you're looking to

get a new Web site with the

mobile friendly platform,

reach out and let me know with

what we can do to help you out.

Absolutely no cost.

I'll talk to you on the phone.

We can do a video conference

maybe not with this going out

but we can

you know definitely look at

your business and see what it

has at the very minimum you're

to walk away a lot more

informed than you are today.

So I look forward to hearing

from you and for your call and

enjoy the rest of your week.

How to Google Yourself the Right Way - Duration: 4:41.

Hi, Kristen Beasely here,

today we're going to talk about

how to look at your online results

and make sense of them while you're in a job search

to make sure that you are putting your best foot forward

in your job search.

So, one thing I want you to do is to Google your name,

but I want you to do it a certain way,

I want you to put your name in quotation marks.

So, for me, I put my name as, quote, Kristen Jacoway Beasely, end quote,

and then I do a search.

Now, what you want to do also,

before you put your name in quotes and hit the search button,

you need to sign out of your Google account.

Google slightly alters your results based on location,

so signing out will give you a truer picture

of what someone else will see when they Google you.

So, search for the name people will use to they search for you.

So, for example, if you were putting,

quote, Kristen J. Beasely, end quote, on your resume,

then perform a Google search with that name.

In the same vein,

when you are creating Google results about yourself,

like on social media, and you're setting up profiles,

you want to be consistent with the name that you use.

So don't switch back and forth from, like, Kristen Jacoway Beasely

to Kristen Beasely, or Kristen J. Beasely.

You want to have it consistent

across every place that you create a result online.

Now what I want you to do is I want you to concentrate your focus

on the first page of your results,

because a recent survey was done

and they found that 93% of people

do not go past page one on a search result.

So, then I want you to look to see if your Google results are negative,

irrelevant, hey, that's not me, positive and relevant,

and so, hopefully what you're finding

is that they are all positive and relevant.

Now, what if you have a common name like John Smith?

Well, employers and recruiters know how to do

what we call a Boolean Search Phrase.

So they would put my name in parantheses, like "Kristen Jacoway Beasely",

and then Auburn, Alabama.

Remember, they've got your resume in front of them.

And a lot of times, when we're filling out the about sections

on our social media profiles,

we're putting down the schools we attended, which is on our resume,

we put down the companies where we've worked, which is on our resume,

we put down all kinds of information

that will match up with the resume that they have in hand,

and they're gonna be able to use that information

in order to find out

what is true and accurate about you.

Now, what are they looking for

when they are doing a Google search on your name?

Well, 97% are looking at your professional experience,

they want to make sure that what you're saying about yourself on your resume

is what you've also said about yourself online;

they're looking at the length of time you've been with different companies,

and, again, it's that same comparison with what you've put on your resume

versus what you put out online;

they're checking to see if you are also posting things

that relate to your industry,

so 88% are looking at that;

and then 93% are looking at your connections,

your friends, your followers,

and they're seeing if there's any mutual connections there.

Now, 95% are looking at specific hard skills,

so those are tangible skills, like your writing skills,

they're not the soft skills like

your abilty to get along with people.

80% are looking to see if you're gonna be a good cultural fit for their company,

you know, how well are you gonna fit in with everybody that's there?

And then 83% are reviewing examples

of written or design work.

So hopefully that helps you on this part of your journey on your job search,

and I'll catch you next time.

[♪♪, Swoosh]

Hi, my name is Jim Van Horn,

I'm the paid placement specialist

here at Commexis.

And I'm here to speak today about

the Google Chrome adblocker story

from Melissa's video.

Starting in 2018, Google is going to put into place

a set of standards and measures that will

penalize any website that has invasive ads

within their content.

Obviously, the easiest way not to get your ads blocked

is to make them as non-invasive as possible.

That means making sure that the ads don't gatekeep content,

don't block content, or distract the user in any way.

Google will be publishing a set of standard practices

for everyone to follow to make sure their websites

are not penalized come 2018.

For more information, please visit Phillip's blog

or Melissa's video.

My name is Jim Van Horn, thank you.

117 #Aaltonen - Onko Google ylihinnoiteltu kanava? - Duration: 3:11.

Let's talk about Google. It's my favourite subject. The way Google has changed is very interesting and relevant to me.

Now do a test, try out the keywords that are relevant to you and Google them. What can you find and more importantly what your customer can find?

For some industries the situation is that the price of advertising has exploded. To all companies that are selling Google advertising, their budget is growing and growing.

Because the competition in advertising is growing. A spot in Google Ads-section is getting more and more expensive. In order to reach the top and catch the most attention you have to pay more and more.

It causes a situation where leads are more expensive and you need to somehow be able to put it into perspective of the customer's lifestyle cycle value.

How long they're your customers, how often do they buy from you, so what is the value of their deal. Is it worth it? Simultaneously as we observe these different industries, we can see an interesting phenomenon.

Advertising can be very expensive, yet it's easy to reach the top on organic search. Little bit of optimizing and content producing and get people to share those links in social media and stay linked with trustworthy websites.

You know why we don't do it? Some people don't know it's possible and some think Google is still priced like it was a couple years ago.

Some people don't invest into it. They're not interested in it. They'll rather buy advertising to their front page, which is the dumbest thing to do. To buy an ad to your front page, come on now.

You can't measure it in anyway. People come to your front page and then they leave. I would suggest you to visit Google and use the keywords that are relevant to your business.

See what happens. You can also use some tools like kwfinder.com, HubSpot or SemRush where you can find out what is the competition in those keywords and the price of the ads.

Google is slowly becoming overly priced channel. Instead you can put those marketing investments into content production and optimize the value of your lead flow.

And also how much you pay for a customer.
