The HomePod's Impact on Google and Amazon - Duration: 5:01.
Earlier in June Apple announced its newest product, the HomePod. Priced at
$350 and set to debut later this year in December, Apple is set to take on Amazon
and Google, as well as other companies that make high-end speakers like Sonos.
Now while many thought Apple was just going to release a device to compete
with the Amazon echo and the Google Home, it was clear after WWDC keynote that
that is not what Apple is doing here at all Apple is really honing in on music
playback and speaker quality as far as how everything sounds coming out of it.
So now to the million dollar question, what impact is the HomePod going to
have on the smart speaker ecosystem in general and especially on its
competition: the Google Home and the Amazon Echo. While I think that Apple is
definitely going to sell a lot of the HomePods this Christmas because let's
be real here, we're talking about an Apple product. What I think is less clear
is who's actually going to buy the HomePod? I think a lot of people who already
wanted smart speakers already went out and got them, smart speakers aren't that
expensive to begin with you're just throwing out 130 you know 170 dollars
and typically Apple's customer base are pretty affluent. So if you're an affluent
person who's really into tech and you want to try the latest and greatest
thing the chances are you probably already have either an Amazon Echo or a
Google Home and then the other section of the market Apple seems to try to be
cornering is the section that cares about high-end speakers and likewise a
lot of these consumers have already invested heavily in Bose or Sonos
speakers and who knows if they're really going to be drawn to a HomePod when
it's not really clear if the HomePod itself will work with all the speakers
you already have in your home. So who is the HomePod really for? Well I think it
boils down into two categories one Apple music subscribers and to just general
fans of Apple. Now Apple didn't say whether or not they're going to support
other third-party music streaming services for the HomePod, they only
announced it with Apple Music. Now I still think a lot of people are going
to end up buying the home pod regardless because one it's an Apple product, and two:
it's a high quality premium home speaker. But one feature the home pod that I
don't think quite has enough draw to it is Siri. Apple didn't announce any major
enhancements in Siri at WWDC, and quite frankly the Google assistant and
Amazon's Alexa have just your past Siri in about every category.
I just don't think Siri's features are enough for people to shell out three
hundred and fifty dollars for another device that has Siri on it alone. This
is probably why Apple decided to lead with music playback with their marketing
for the HomePod versus with Siri. So is Apple going to sell a lot of these
devices? well yeah sure, Apple sells a lot of everything I mean their there Mac
businesses like its own fortune 500 company, hell fortune 400 company at this
point. But I think the smart speaker device category is going to create a
real problem for a lot of people. Up until now it's been relatively easy to
stay within an ecosystem whether that be Google's, Apple's, Microsoft's, and hell,
throw in Samsung there as well. But because of how inexpensive a lot of
these smart assistant devices have become, a lot of the people I think are
going to wind up finding themselves with either multiple or all three of the main
assistants in their home, and these assistants are not likely to work well
with each other. Now is this a bad thing, well no, maybe not, but it sure is going
to be annoying. I've already found myself half the time saying "Hey Google" to my
iPhone. Now perhaps the solution will be just to use all three different
assistants for different things, use the Google Home for general search queries
directions, use Amazon's Alexa for shopping and buying things, and then use
Siri for texting or music playback. This is kind of a stopgap solution though and
it's not very optimal, I still feel like most people are going to want to talk to
just one assistant versus talking to three different assistants that don't
all work well together. Such is what happens in
though, typically when you have a new technology come out into the marketplace
things are going to be pretty messy and it looks like in the smart assistant
devices space in the technology sector right now, it's going to say messy for
quite a while, but hopefully it'll all sort out in the next few years. So what
did you guys think? Feel free to leave a comment below on what you thought about
Apple's HomePod, WWDC ,and the current state of the smart assistant device
market. Also feel free if you like this video to subscribe to the channel so

The Shirt Machine Garment Imaging Google Chrome 2017 06 25 12 04 16 PM - Duration: 3:32.
Hi everyone, welcome to the shirt machine.
My name is Dave and today I thought I would make a quick video showing you how easy it
is to upload an image to a shirt or to create some clip art to get something made for you
real fast.
So the first thing you want to do is go to this products box and to make this video nice
and easy click on t-shirts and this is going to open up the garment panel here we're just
going to click on the ultra cotton t-shirt.
Once it provides us with the box here we're going to click on this little blue circle
that says design now and this is going to take us to the design studio.
Here is all of the tools were going to need to create our designs for this tutorial were
going to upload an image from our computer and this is what your going to do if you already
have a logo or brand you already have designed and its going to bring up this tool where
we are going to ensure that the back ground is the same as our garment so click around
these buttons to make sure that everything is the way you need it to be before you click
on continue.
Were going to go ahead and do that.
As you can see the logo is now on the shirt and we can move and manipulate this image
anyway we want to make sure that its perfect.
That's it.
It's that easy.
For me I'm not too happy because the word shirt is black and the garment is black and
you cant really see it.
I dont want to change my logo because that is the design so what were going to do is
go to product color and change the color of the garment.
Its that simple.
What you want to is save it if you created an account earlier, get a quote or go to check
out.
Before we do anything else, I'm going to show you how easy it is to use clip art.
This is a real powerful tool and if your not very artistic and you want to create something
on the fly what you want to do is choose one of these categories and pick an image from
it.
Here I'm just going to click on this Pow.
Now were going to click this design now button, its going to upload it to the design studio
where we can move and manipulate the image again no problem.
Look at that, so easy to do.
Make sure it stays in the frame, and that's it!
Your all done.
Remember to save it so you don't have to do all the work again.
Were going to go ahead and click get a quote to show you how simple this process is.
So if your going to purchase just one shirt, click on the size that you want, the amount
of items that you want, and then I want you to click on this grey button down here that
says update quote.
This is going to tell you the cost of it.
So for this shirt it's going to cost $19.18 printed and you just ship it out then.
Once you click on the buy now button put in your contact info and it's all going to be
done smooth.
If you have a side business and you want to upload your business logo and sell shirts
from the side, what you want to do is carry an inventory and I'll show you why in a second.
Let's say you need an inventory of 50 shirts click the update quote button and look at
that.
The cost of each shirt has dropped to $7.18.
It's amazing savings guys!
That's how easy it is to work with The Shirt Machine, come by any time your going to have
a lot of fun playing with it.
It's easy, very dynamic, and I hope you enjoy it.
Take care guys, talk to you soon!

Make Google Home say anything - Duration: 2:36.
What's happening YouTube, I'm Josh Teder here for a tips and tricks video.
Today we're going to get the Google Home to say any short phrase we want, and to
do that, what you're first going to want to do is you're going to need a
smartphone with the IFTT app installed on it and an account setup.
So let's go ahead and dive right into it here, let's open up the if this and that
account you're going to want to navigate here to my applets and then you're going
to hit the plus button here to create a new applet. Now hit this and go ahead and
search for the Google Assistant, there we are,
and we're going to choose here for this we're going to say a simple phrase. So
what do we want to say to trigger the Google Home? Well, I'm going to say Game
of Thrones, another way to say it mother of dragons, and then another way let's
say Khaleesi, I think that's right. Alright so what do you want the
assistant to say in response? We're going to have it say "oh boy, exclamation point,
I love Game of Thrones. Daenerys is my girl." Ah, auto-correct total fail
there, no worries hey Google how do you spell Daenerys? Daenerys is spelled
D A E N E R Y S, Ok cool, Daenerys is my girl. Alright so now
that we've set all that up we're going to hit next.
Now we're going to have to choose with that, any applet you make has a this and
then a that, if you're not familiar with IFTT. For do that, since it's
not very important we don't really need a big action here I'm just going to
choose notification send a notification from if this then that app yep just
click Next here and everything looks good and we're done. All right looks like
we're all set up here let's go ahead and test it out: Ok Google Game of Thrones. Google Home: "Oh
boy, I love Game of Thrones. Daenerys is my girl"
And there you go that's a quick look at how to get the Google Home to say
basically whatever you want, for this tips and tricks video
I'm Josh Teder.

Mipha's Touch but it's Google Translated - Duration: 1:58.
I think...
This reminds me that it's time to meet for the first time.
You were just a kid unconscious...
Often being hurt by doing it.
Everytime I solve you.
Just like I do.
I thought it was fun like, being a Hylian, You looked a lot bigger than what I did.
I am ... I was always ready for your wounds.
One at a time.
If this disaster comes, Ganon will be returned, what do I want to do?
We do not know much about what we object to.
But know that this fight does not matter...
If you... if anyone tries to make you harm...
Then I will improve you.
It does not matter when, or the severity of the injury...
Hope to know...
I always give you protection.
Once all is over,
The situation as a young person can return.
Yes.
Maybe we have some time to talk.
