This partnership with Ibram is exemplary for me.

We can bring a complete content about Brazil's history

within reach for the population in a unique way.

Today we have 5 Ibram museums participating in the project:

the National Museum of Fine Arts and the Castro Maya Museums in Rio de Janeiro,

the National Historical Museum, the Imperial Museum in Petrópolis

and the Lasar Segall Museum in São Paulo.

We can offer a virtual tour to the museum's collection

on a world scale and, at the same time,

invite the public for a visit in person.

It improves people's informal education.

It opens their minds for new concepts, new proposals.

The collection's digitization will bring to the Art critic

and the museologist important information not perceived by the naked eye.

It's a very interesting tool for people to plan, for example,

their visit or trip so they can come and see the works of Art personally.

By this virtual instrument, the viewer has not only access

to the work in high definition, but also to its context.

More than 470 works were digitized through this partnership

and there are more than 15 stories or exhibitions that were also created,

that is, narratives.

We're aware that museums are currently the basic key territories

in the construction of essential relationships

to the citizenship and sociability development.

111th Birthday Josephine Baker was a French singer and entertainer,

whose career was centered primarily in Europe, mostly in her adoptive country of France.

During her early career she was renowned as a dancer.

Baker was the first person of African descent to become a world-famous entertainer and to

star in a major motion picture

Josephine Baker refused to perform for segregated audiences in the United States and is noted

for her contributions to the Civil Rights Movement.

She was also known for aiding the French Resistance during World War II.

Google Street View: 31 of the strangest images caught on camera

Googles Street View cameras have been trundling the roads of the world for the last ten years and in that time they have clocked up millions of images.

So it was only a matter of time before some beautifully, and at times bizarre, scenes were caught on camera alongside the endless shots of streets.

Only this week a picture of a woman flashing at the Google Street View camera car emerged.

Check out our gallery to see the lady snapped as she gives birth on the pavement, red-faced monkeys hanging out in a hot spring in Japan and a thieving seagull caught as he makes his escape.

A BBQ gone wrong. The aftermath of what looks like an epic house party has also been snapped, as well as an out of control BBQ and a stag doing a runner down an open road.

Some epically timed shots include a young girl face-planting the pavement as she falls off her skateboard and a lad grabbing crashing into a wall on his bike.

But then things get a little bit weird.

Identical twins taking a walk along a river.

In one image what looks like the cast of Waynes World can be seen strolling down a street, while another seems to have captured the start of a horror film as a group wearing frightening masks stare menacingly at the camera after getting out their car.

A car in a ditch. Theres also a topless Russian chasing a bear with a bat, a man stuck in a bin and what appears to be an inmate in an orange jumpsuit legging it down a deserted road.

A monkey chilling out on a wall. And there are others which really cant be explained.

Like the alien casually sat at the side of the road, a man lurking in the woods wearing a gas mask and a naked guy in the boot of a car.
