Testing the FF 91: Dynamic Vehicle Control - Duration: 1:48.

Building an entirely new vehicle from the ground up is a challenge that's

incredibly inspiring, but also very daunting. We take a "no compromise"

approach to engineering and designing the FF 91. That's why testing is

especially critical. We're focusing on the slalom, lane change and turning circle. Each will

help us evaluate three key components of dynamic vehicle control. Four-wheel steering

is how we're developing optimal trajectory control. The rear wheels can turn in the

same or opposite direction as the front, depending on the situation.

So even though it's a very spacious and long-wheelbase luxury vehicles, the FF 91

can turn like a mid-size segment car and handle like a much smaller Performance car.

Torque vectoring by electric-motor is one of our most powerful tools. Two independent rear

motors can control stability with an instantaneous response, and a higher

level precision; all without sacrificing speed.

Testing our semi-active dampers puts us closer to optimized handling and comfort,

independent of the road condition. These three features unified by the Dynamic

Vehicle Controller are a future industry standard. We're constantly pushing the limits of

our technology across the number of rigorous environment. Because the more

demanding the test, the more we can refine, to advance and evolve the FF 91.
