зачем все это | о том, что важно | what is it all for | ENG subs - Duration: 4:25.

So, what do I have for breakfast today. I will have a smoothie

Mango, pear

Frozen strawberries and goji berries

So, here it is. I've also added coconut, kiwi and chia seeds on the top

Hi guys, it's Tanya and today I have a short "talking" video

I'm going to be a bit phylosophic

I get so many questions what is it all for? Why fo I need a YouTube Channel, why am I photographing?

Why am I doing it like this not differently

and etc

I've recently had a feeling that I'm doing something wrong

And if I got this feeling it means I need to change smth

I realize that if everything was as it supposed to be

I wouldn't have had these thoughts, this insecurity

And now I have those feelings and it makes me feel uncomfortable

That's why I want to focus on things that make me happy, the things that are important for me

I really want to continue filming for my YouTube channel, maybe there'll be more videos of me talking

There'll be more phylosophic themes lol

What I want to say is

Maybe sometimes you won't see any meaning in these videos

But these videos will be meaningful for me in some ways. Like some warm memories

Emotions and inspiration

There still will be modeling interviews

because I've noticed that interviews have been taking lots of my time recently

and I haven' recieved as much from it as I would have had recieved. Or I just got a little bit bored of it and that's the real reason

of me not wanting to do as many interviews I did before

So, I have an appointment and I'm already outside, so I'll be filming while walking

So, what I wanted to say is... The last 2 weeks were just terrible

I've caught a terrible glu

And it was really really hard for me to even breath and I simply thought that's it, that's the end...

Of course I was hoping for the best to come, but still...

The thing is. Spending your time doing things you're don't really enjoy doing, the things you're not 100% percent sure about...

You don't have to waste your time for just thinking

whether it's right or wrong, you just need to start doing what you really like

and enjoy every moment of it

Find what you're really interested in and stop caring about other people's opinion

Because it doesn't matter what they think or say

The most important thing is what YOU're thinking

It's important what YOU want to do

Yes

Thank you so much for watching this video

I love you guys and sending you some hugs

And see you in my next videos, bye!

I came back home and that's what happened

It really looks like a storm

Gloves - What's the Big Deal? - Duration: 6:28.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question

and I get to help you find an answer.

Today's question comes from a house cleaner who is curious to know "What is the big

deal about wearing gloves when you clean houses?"

She says "I clean with non-toxic chemicals so the chemicals are not getting on my hands."

And she says "When I touch the surfaces of things I can't feel if they're clean if

I have gloves on so is it really important that I wear gloves?"

Well, the answer to that is yes, it is important.

And it reminds me of the mortician who's preparing a body and the assistant comes in and says

"Oh my gosh, you're not wearing gloves."

And the guy that's preparing the body says "Ah, don't worry about it.

He's not going to catch anything, he's already dead." Right?

So, it is, it's funny because the germs, were not concerned about the dead person, we're

more concerned about you yourself.

So, as you're cleaning someone's home, and I'm not accusing our customers of having germs.

But there are germs everywhere.

And other people's germs are different from your germs.

Now, you live in your own house and so you have an immunity build up to the types of

germs that you have in your house.

You do not however have an immunity to the germs that other people have,

and you don't know where the germs are coming from.

You might go into a kitchen and the kitchen cupboard looks like it's completely clean

and so you would assume "Well, there are no germs on this cupboard" but moments before

a kid could have come in and put his soccer shoes on the top of that countertop.

So, you just have no idea.

So, about the gloves, do I recommend that you wear gloves?

Yes, absolutely.

They're very inexpensive, you can buy them in a box.

This is a box.

It's 200 and these you can buy at Costco.

I will put a link in the show notes to the place where I actually buy most of my gloves.

These I did buy at Costco because I ran out, but there's a company

I've been using for years.

Now they're inexpensive these particular ones about $0.05 apiece.

So $0.05 to keep the germs off of you.

Right?

And there are house cleaners that say "when I wear these they make my hands clammy."

Okay, your hands are going to get clammy and that's just part of wearing gloves.

Your hands are going to get clammy and then when you're done they can air out and they

will repair themselves, right?

These are my hands after 25 years of cleaning houses.

And so I'm protecting my hands by wearing the gloves.

It's all kinds of little things that you don't necessarily see.

But if you go to dig something up with your fingernail the germs and that gunk can go

underneath your fingernail.

And you don't want that.

If you have gloves on that will prevent that.

And so, do I recommend them?

Yes, I do.

Now, my hands also get clammy and sometimes they get cracked and they dry.

And so at night when I go to bed I just get a regular tub of Vaseline.

And these are gloves that you can buy at Walmart or the Dollar Store or whatever they're very

inexpensive little gloves and I just coat my hands in Vaseline, and then I put the little

gloves on them, and I go to sleep at night.

And that heals all the cracked, peeling dry skin so that my hands are as good as new.

And so if you can be my age and you can have these kinds of hands and these are the hands

that I've had my whole life, then this is working, right?

And another thing that I recommend is when you wear gloves that prevents you from…

for example, like I have allergies.

And so, it would be easy if my eyes are itching or watering to like scratch my eyes or rub

my eyes, but I don't do that when I have the gloves on.

Because I don't want the latex or the nitrile in my eyes.

So, it has trained me not to scratch my nose in my eyes and stuff while I'm cleaning.

And that way I'm not transferring germs.

I'm not transferring cleaning chemicals.

And not transferring the latex or the nitrile to my eyes or my nose or any of the places

where then I can pick up germs.

But in the last 14 years I haven't called in sick at all.

I credit that to my apple cider vinegar lemon juice that I drink every morning which is

nasty, but it's also wearing gloves.

It's also protecting your hands.

Now, when I go to the grocery market, lots of the grocery stores Costco, Walmart they

all have little handy wipes when you walk in.

And you can clean your hands and you can wipe down the shopping cart so that you don't transfer

other people's germs as you go.

Now, my suggestion is not to become a germaphobe.

But if protecting your hands and protecting you from the germs is important

than even in the door of your car…

I have some hand sanitation and then I have some lotion.

So, I'll hand sanitize my hands.

This is like if you go through a drive-thru and you hand someone your credit card.

Or you hand them cash.

You're dealing with your car, you're dealing with money, you're dealing with other people's

germs because they touched your credit card and all those things.

I sanitize my hands now before I eat my food so that I don't transfer those germs into

my body.

Recommending that you wear gloves?

Absolutely.

It's super important and as far as not being able to feel the clean:

If you're running your hands along the insides of tubs and toilets and stuff like

that oh, my goodness.

More than anything you want to have gloves on.

You don't want that absorbed into your skin.

Because if it's dirty and you can feel that it's dirty wow that's now on your skin and

you can say "well yeah, I can wash my hands."

And I hope that you do.

But while you are cleaning just get in the habit of wearing gloves.

I'm really emphatic about this because I have seen people that don't wear gloves and then

they get sick all the time.

And then they're out for a week worth of work because they got sick and they have to stay

at home.

So just protect yourself and your business by taking necessary precautions

and wearing gloves.

These are just disposable gloves.

Wear disposable gloves while you're cleaning.

Because not only is it a good idea but it can prevent you from getting sick.

Alrighty, so that's my tip for today.

And until we meet again, leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

WHAT IS STELLAR MAGNETISM? - Duration: 9:05.

ESO telescopes are being used to search for the subtle signs of magnetic fields

in other stars and even to map out the star spots on their surfaces this

information is beginning to reveal how and why so many stars including our own

Sun are magnetic and what the implications might be for life on Earth

and elsewhere in the universe

this is the esocast cutting-edge science and life behind the

scenes at ESO the European Southern Observatory

more than 400 years ago Galileo Galilei became one of the first astronomers to

note that the sun's surface exhibited dark imperfections now known as sunspots

what Galileo didn't realize at the time was that these dark spots were a sign

that the Sun is a magnetic star sunspots appear dark because in these regions the

strong magnetic field limits the transportation of heat to the surface

this process makes these locations much cooler and thus darker in appearance

than the surrounding brilliant surface as sunspots develop the magnetic field

increases in strength and complexity and becomes increasingly tangled eventually

for some sunspots the magnetic field snaps and in an instant the energy it

holds is unleashed in a brilliant and violent flash emerging us solar flares

and solar storms this energy is sent hurtling into space

when directed at earth this energy arriving in the form of a stream of

charged particles is mostly deflected by the planets own magnetic field but some

of the charged particles get through and create beautiful aurorae

in the northern and southern polar regions but beauty here can also signify

danger solar storms if powerful enough can in turn spark geomagnetic storms on

earth capable of destroying satellites interfering with air-traffic

communication and even crippling power grids in a technological era this threat

is reason enough to study solar magnetism the Sun is not unique in being

magnetic most stars in our galaxy Harbor a magnetic field of some kind although

we don't fully understand the processes that create our own star's magnetic

field other sun-like stars are expected to have similar properties however the

processes that drive magnetism on some classes of distant stars such as those

that are much hotter and more massive than the Sun may be very different but

what is known is that solar flares and storms can impact life on Earth in a

profound way measuring a star's magnetic properties can help astronomers to

evaluate how hospitable an orbiting planet might be for life

the magnetic field of a star can be measured through what is known as the

Zeeman effect chemical elements produce narrow dark absorption lines in the

spectrum of a star when a magnetic field is present these lines split into

triples or even more complex groupings this splitting can be measured and used

by astronomers to gauge the strength of the magnetic field but the Zeeman effect

leads to an additional effect the Starlight becomes polarized this

polarized signal is the vital clue that can be used by astronomers to spot the

presence of a stellar magnetic field

esos telescopes and instruments such as force on the Very Large Telescope are

equipped to detect polarization they are powerful tools with which to measure

stellar magnetic fields one of these instruments is harps the high accuracy

radial velocity planet searcher it's located at esos La Silla Observatory in

Chile harps very accurately measures the Doppler shift of stellar spectral lines

to look for the subtle signatures of exoplanets

but harps can also measure the polarization of spectral lines to detect

stellar magnetic fields for some stars this spectrograph can measure thousands

of spectral lines simultaneously helping to detect signals from even the weakest

magnetic fields by observing a certain star several

times while it rotates scientists can now use these polarization measurements

to create actual maps of the magnetism related star spots present on distant

stars such images remain impossible to obtain

directly with large telescopes as almost all stars are simply too far away to be

seen as anything more than points of light but thanks to the huge amount of

information contained in the polarized signals we can uncover a great deal

about stellar magnetic fields revealing valuable data that would otherwise

remain hidden astronomers have found that most stars are magnetic but in very

different ways so different processes must be at work to generate and sustain

these magnetic fields we now know that these magnetic fields in turn have a big

impact on how stars behave throughout their lives they play an important role

in the complex processes of star formation and at the other end of

stellar lives they are vital to explaining the bizarre behavior of

gamma-ray bursts pulses and most extreme of all magnet ARS astronomers are now

eagerly studying stellar magnetic fields to assess their impact on the

habitability of rocky exoplanets around them a star's magnetic field can greatly

affect the amount of radiation reaching a planet's surface intense flares on

stars produce ultraviolet radiation that is hazardous to most forms of life both

primitive and advanced magnetism has effects throughout the

universe from the Earth's surface right out of the most distant exploding stars

polarization measurements help astronomers to understand the magnetic

properties of our own star and all the other stars in the universe

you

HOW TECHNOLOGY FATIGUES THE BRAIN & WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT - Duration: 9:13.

HOW TECHNOLOGY FATIGUES THE BRAIN & WHAT WE CAN DO ABOUT IT

BY DAN FRIESJUNE

It doesnt matter if youre a professional, a student, a stay-at-home parent, or a volunteer,

every day can be summed up as a constant battle against stress and mental fatigue.

When our brains grow tired, we make poor decisions, work slower, and produce inferior work.

Whats more, theres a good chance this mental fatigue is directly caused by some

kind of technology.

Whether its your phone, computer, or television, from the moment we wake up, we are constantly

bombarded by emails and texts and messages from friends, strangers and colleagues. Notifications

from social networks pose a constant distraction.

Whats more, the news media has proliferated into so many different virtual spaces that

were likely to encounter terror, tragedy, and disaster with every turn.

Instead of living with mental fatigue, it is in everyones interest to take an active

stand against it. We have conducted extensive research on this topic and reached certain

conclusions.

The main way to combat mental fatigue brought on by technology is to determine the kind

of work that depletes you the most.

Sometimes this labour will be unavoidable, but when you do have options, its important

to put these tasks aside and prioritize periods of time when you need to optimize your productivity

and quality of work.

The next question, then, is: How do you determine which technology-related work drains you the

most?

It varies with each person, and includes several other factors such as what time of day you

normally do the work, how much exercise you get, how much time you spend out in the sun,

etc. To figure it out, try to think about when you feel the most tired.

See if you can determine a pattern throughout your week, and whether or not your fatigue

corresponds with certain types of work or technology.

The answer might be unexpected. The following are a short list of things that might make

you especially tired:

Transitioning frequently between different tasks

Meeting deadlines Planning your schedule and sticking to a routine

Quality control, editing, or fine tuning projects Cold-calling, generating business, or promoting

yourself Sitting still and maintaining focus

Broadening your network and connecting with others on a professional level

Most people will need to perform some or all of the above tasks on a daily basis. But its

not about removing these tasks altogether.

Instead, strategize. Organize your day so that you leave your best working time for

when youre most alert and awake.

Many successful people have unconsciously arranged their schedules so that they leave

a few hours open at a given point in the day when they can dive head first into a task,

use the full potential of their creative imagination, and do some of their best work.

During these periods, they might lay aside technology completely, or use it only in very

specific functions.

Its important to keep something else in mind. Sometimes, when we think were relaxing,

were actually tiring ourselves out. Maybe you like to get competitive with a friend

or colleague after work with a game of pool or chess.

Maybe you compulsively watch the news and expose yourself to every new tragedy or disaster

that occurs around the world every day. Understand that your whole day affects your mental energy.

No matter how you spend your day, you will probably want to spend at least a two-hour

chunk completing something important, something that you need to do really well.

If you struggle with mental fatigue, try the following actions and see if they help you

optimize your working hours:

1. Figure Out When Youre at Your Best

Everybody follows a different schedule. Cycles known as circadian rhythms dictate when we

wake up, when we feel awake, how much stamina we have, and how well we work.

Some are morning people while others are night owls. If you wake up in the morning and, right

away, feel ready to go and get to work, you might want to do your most important work

first off.

If, on the other hand, you feel like youre not exactly a human until after noon, think

about spending your morning doing easier or more mundane tasks and leave a chunk of your

afternoon open to really take care of business.

2. Break Your Work Into Different Categories

Every job requires a variety of skills and tasks to get the job done. Youll have to

interact with colleagues or clients or strangers, organize, manage, craft, or initiate.

If youre finding yourself yawning at 2:30 p.m. every day, one of the above categories

has probably tired and stressed you out.

Try to break up your work into categories like Networking and Communication, Planning

Ahead, and Creative.

It might just help you understand whats using up so much mental energy. Consider planning

a technology-free hour or hours and use that time to do what needs to be done.

This is essential to achieving what Cal Newport calls Deep Work work periods where

we are totally focused and immersed in the task, in a state of flow.

3. Treat Your Brain Well

Many people dont realize that increased use of technology has a real, physiological

effect on our bodies.

Just as medicine has determined cures for chemical imbalances in our brains that stem

from mental health diseases like depression or schizophrenia, supplements exist that can

help us stave off mental fatigue altogether.

A group of chemicals known as nootropics have proven to effectively boost brainpower and

stamina. While many of supplements make wild claims, likening their effects to those of

the super-drug from the movie Limitless, some actually have very legitimate effects.

One such nootropic is Qualia, which is sort of like insurance for your brain in that it

contains nearly all major nootropic herbs, and aims to curb a variety of mental deficiencies.

In all, it contains 42 different ingredients and has provided everything people need to

make it through their day in an alert and energetic state. Research is still out on

the effectiveness of Smart Drugs, but many athletes, entrepreneurs, and students

are taking them with noticeable improvements to their quality of life.

4. Plan Ahead

Work can be totally overwhelming and can cause you to jump from task to stressful task without

taking a minute to step back and evaluate. Try to wake up every day and hatch a general

plan for how the next 16+ hours will unfold.

Make a to-do list. Organize tasks between essential, pressing, and casual. Crises will

undoubtedly catch you off-guard and cause you to break from your plan, but these will

become exceptions, and not the manner in which you regularly do business.

Make a few decisions the night before you have a big day, so you wont have to make

them on the big day.

They can be small (like what to wear or have for breakfast and lunch) or they can be large

(like deciding what tasks actually matter to you to accomplish on the big day). Organize

your to-do list based on those large decisions.

On a final note, if youre truly struggling and you still have hours of work ahead, think

about taking a quick nap. Countless studies prove that a huge amount of stress derives

from sleep deprivation.

Your battery might just need

a quick recharge.

Is Wonder Woman (2017) feminist? And what does that even mean? - Duration: 6:40.

Wonder Woman is such a good movie.

I think people in general have come to the consensus that it is currently the saving

grace of the DCEU.

But one question that's still getting kicked around is "Is Wonder Woman (2017) feminist?"

It's kind of an important question, given Wonder Woman's role as a feminist icon over

the years.

But...it's...kind of a hard question to answer?

Let's talk about it.

Real quick: Lots of spoilers in this video.

If you want a spoiler free review of Wonder Woman, I made one of those.

But this one will be spoiler-a-plenty.

So, part of the reason why it's hard to answer "Is the Wonder Woman movie feminist"

is because "Is -any movie- feminist" is a weird question.

What does a movie have to do or be to BE feminist?

I propose that there is two ways to read that question.

The first way is what I think most people mean when they ask the question, which is

"Can I, as a person who is a feminist, enjoy this movie comfortably?"

Some things that might qualify a movie as a yes would be:

Well written female protagonist or central female characters

No or very little objectification or hypersexualization of those female characters (what we might

call the Male Gaze) No or very few sexist stereotypes or tropes

Characters who would, on the whole, be positive role models or be considered positive representation

And At least some well written, non-stereotypical diversity in terms of race, sexuality, or

disability, the more the better.

There's a whole bunch of little "tests" the internet has come up with over the years

to talk about this.

Things like the Bechdel test, and the Mako Mori test, and the Sexy Lamp test.

And really, this is kind of a low bar for movies, but a surprising few released each

year in the US would qualify.

Now does Wonder Woman (2017) count as "feminist" under these criteria?

Absolutely.

Now, The movie is pretty weak in terms of added diversity, there are some black Amazons,

and two of Steve's buddies are men of color, but the cast is pretty overwhelmingly white

on the whole.

And, the Amazons are pretty universally thin, gorgeous, clean shaven and in full make up,

which is a little troubling when the female antagonist is like, disfigured.

Even unintentionally, setting up beauty as a signifier of moral goodness is...not the

best.

So It's not perfect.

But overall, if you are a feminist, Wonder Woman is a joy to watch.

All of the Amazons being strong and bad ass is super fun.

Sammy and Chief are both amazing characters, and we rarely get such interesting men of

color on the big screen.

And Diana herself is perfect hero material.

There's no male gaze going on.

No boob or ass shots.

No slow pans up her body.

Hell the closest we get to objectification is some naked Steve Trevor.

There's no troubling tropes being lobbed around like we might be used to in big budget

block busters.

It's just really...nice.

God job team.

Now, the OTHER way to read the question "Is this movie feminist" is a little more complicated.

That question could mean "Does this movie, in it's plot or themes, either implicitly

or explicitly, explore feminist theory, concerns, or ideas?"

So, movies that directly explore or comment on things like toxic beauty standards, rape

culture, patriarchy, etc.

My go-to example for this is Mad Max: Fury Road.

Like, that's a movie that very directly deals with issues of Patriarchy, and bodily

autonomy, reproductive freedom, and women's solidarity.

After all they are "Not Things" and reject being used as breeding stock, and yeah, It's

a- it's a VERY feminist film, by any standard.

And...I'm….not sure Wonder Woman (2017) does this.

It gets close a few times.

Candy has a line about women getting the vote.

There's that scene where all the military higher-ups scoff and grumble about a WOMAN

in the war room.

But there's never like….any...commentary on it.

Diana never questions Steve about why all the soldiers are men, or why all the leaders

are men.

She doesn't ask Candy about what she means by the vote, and then get appalled that women

are excluded from political processes.

Even when Sammy says he's the wrong color to be an actor, there's no follow up.

And the overall theme of the movie isn't specifically about feminist ideas or concerns.

The moral of the story isn't about Diana overcoming the patriarchy of man's world.

The movie, as a whole, is about the horror of war, and the moral ambiguity of war from

both sides, that there is no good guys or bad guys in war, only suffering.

And that's a good theme!

It's well done and compelling.

It's just, not, ya know, specifically feminist.

And, really, that's ok.

Not every film needs to or should be predominantly about feminist theory.

That's a hard thing to do well, and in a compelling, interesting, thought provoking

way, and there's plenty of excellent themes and ideas to explore in film beyond feminist

theory.

But if we're asking the question "Does Wonder Woman do this as a movie?" the answer

is...no, not really.

I mean, still go see it though.

It's a super great film.

So yeah.

That's it.

Thanks for watching everyone!

I'm sure you can find the subscribe button if you are so inclined.

This queer millennial feminist will be back with more rants about stuff I like pretty

soon.
