Hey, what's going on and welcome to another video!
How are you been? Let me know in the comments down below how your week was and I will be responding to your comments
Please like up this video, if it has helped you out in any way shape or form and be sure to subscribe
for more content. This video is gonna be part of a little mini series that I've been doing where I will be sharing
Minecraft tips with you. If you remember my July favorites video I talked about a few of my favorite video games for this month with
Minecraft being on the list and if you happenned to miss that video you can click right up here to check it out
So to be good at Minecraft you have to know how to survive at least that's how I play anyway
I play a lot of survival just because you know I find it fun. I just prefer playing survival
over creative just because I feel like the game gets boring
You know it have everything right off the bat helps keep my interest just a little bit longer. That's just me though
What game mode do you like to play Minecraft put a comment down below with your favorite Minecraft?
game mode is. Now the reason why you click on this video
You wanna learn how to make a decent survival house in Minecraft . My definition of survival is just that to
Survive! you can do all that fancy stuff later. Nothing
sucks worse than being out in the wilderness, at night, all your supplies on you, mobs everywhere
you're pretty much living life on the edge of this point, so
That's not something you want to do okay, so you gotta have a house
ready, so this is where I come in the actual
Actual reason why you clicked on this video, so let's get started
I feel like I don't have enough light. So first thing you're going to want to do is chop down trees
Like a lot at least I'm nothing to do with stack, ooh
Excuse me. At least enough to give you a stack of wood you can use your hand to chop down a tree or you
Can build an axe and do the same thing. It's just a little faster. grab you some dirt too
It'll give you a little bit of scaffolding so that way you can raise higher places while you're building
You know that way you don't have to worry about not being able to reach stuff. So make sure you have some of that handy as well
once you have your supplies build a 7 by 7
area of space, you'll see why once we start adding in furniture a bit later on and you're going to want to build it at least
Three blocks high so you have enough room to move around because otherwise you're just stuck
It's very cramped and you don't like cramped spaces the game's gonna be a little claustrophobic
So you don't want to be claustrophobic in the game?
I don't think Steve suffers from claustrophobia
But you don't want to find out in this game add you a roof a door and some windows, and you're done
but if you don't know how to make windows or glass in General
Just go get some sand put it in your furnace cook it and you got left the easiest way
And I think the only way to my glass in Minecraft, so you got glass use your crafting table
And you can make glass panes. They make better windows. A little style tip
I mean you can use your regular glass blocks, but I prefer glass panes. Just makes it look a lot
Prettier in my opinion ok once you got your bed your crafting table your furnace a chest to put all your items in
Your pretty much good for now like I said this is a survival house. It's only made to survive a few nights in
You like I said you can make more
extravagant houses later on in the game
You know once you have a lot of supplies, and you have a nice area to put all the stuff at but right now
We're just trying to survive ok we're just trying to hide from the creepers, zombies
Skeletons
spiders
wishes
enderman another thing
This is a major
point right here ok
make sure you write your coordinates down for your house ok nothing sucks more than
Forgetting where your house? Is that there's nothing worse like?
You think having no house is bad think about
Forgetting where your places all together so make sure you open up your map you can look at the x the y and the z
And you'll be able to locate your house
Make sure you match all those numbers of them to be right there
Just do the instructions like I said to do and you got your nice little place to live so
Make sure you follow these instructions exactly
I mean
Not exactly I mean you can obviously go off if you want to but this method right here is just a nice
Cozy comfortable area you'll really like it once you build it. You're just trying to hide for now
You're just trying to have a place to stay all right just for these first few nights until you get situated, but I mean
That's pretty much it. It's pretty easy pretty simple its quick
Please give this video a like if it has helped you out in any way as I will be adding more videos
To the series, I think I'm going to name this series how to survive in Minecraft
Pretty self-explanatory you know video to teach you how to survive if you don't know how to survive
Because I'm here to help you out. I've been
There alright have any questions. Let me know put them in the comments down below alright
and I'll let you know my answers
Okay, also be sure to subscribe
And click the little bell notification down below to turn on them
Notifications, so you know when I upload another video because like I said I'm adding more videos to this it's a little series
you know little mini series. Go you want to learn how to play Minecraft a bit more better?
I don't think that's how I'm supposed to say that my grammar is a bit. It's a little bit bad right now
I don't know why would I have that grammar in the moment? I just cannot do words
I can't do words. No matter how many times I try I just can't do words
anyway, be safe have fun and
I will see you next time
Bye - Bye

WELCOME TO ANOTHER VIDEO
MY NAME IS SPARCKMAN
SO LAST NIGHT I MADE A VIDEO
ABOUT IMPORTING ASSETS INTO UNITY
ACTUALLY, IT WAS JUST SOME SORT OF HALLWAY OR SOMETHING
YA, SO TODAY, I WANT TO SHOW YOU
HOW I MADE THAT
SO LET'S OPEN MYA
YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING WITH BLENDER
WHICH IS FREE
WAITING FOR MYA TO OPEN
SO LET ME OPEN THE PROJECT
WHICH IS HERE SOMEWHERE
I BELIEVE I HAVE TWO CAMERAS
THIS IS MY CAMERA HERE
LET'S PLAY THIS
AND THIS IS WHAT WE GOT
NOW THIS WOULD BE GREAT
FOR SOME SORT OF SCARY GAME
OR FOR A MENU OR SOMETHING
LET'S GO FILE NEW
AND WE'RE GOING TO START FROM SCRATCH
SO LET'S START WITH POLYGONS
AND LET'S MAKE A BOX
THERE IS OUR BOX
FOUR AND FIVE
OKAY, SO FOUR IS WIRE FRAME
AND FIVE IS SHADED
LET'S GO TO FACE MODE
AND LET'S TAKE OUT THESE TWO FACES
SELECT IT
AND LET'S DELETE IT
OKAY, SO THERE WE GO
LET'S DO A QUICK UV LAYOUT FOR THIS
OKAY, YOU NEED YOUR UV LAYOUT
IN ORDER TO APPLY TEXTURES CORRECTLY
TO YOUR OBJECT
NOW FOR AN OBJECT LIKE THIS
YOU CAN DO IT AUTOMATICALLY
OKAY. YOU DON'T NEED TO DO IT MANUALLY
WHICH IS KIND OF A PAIN
LET'S GO TO CREATE UV
AND WE'RE GOING TO USE
AUTOMATIC MAPPING
LET'S GO TO WINDOW
AND LET'S BRING OUT THE UV TEXTURE EDITOR
SELECT THE OBJECT
AND THERE IS OUR UV LAYOUT
LET'S SELECT UV HERE
SELECT THEM ALL
I'M GOING TO RIGHT CLICK
AND I'M GOING TO GO UV
SELECT ALL
AND LET'S EXPORT
OUR SNAPSHOT
DID I JUST SAY SNAPSHOT
SNAPSHUT
YA THAT'S WHAT IT IS
LET'S BROWSE IT
LET'S CALL THIS
WHAT CAN WE CALL THIS
LET'S CALL IT
LE BOX
MAKE SURE THIS IS SET TO JPGS
SO YOU CAN OPEN IT IN PHOTOSHOP
WHICH IS WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO RIGHT NOW
HERE IS PHOTOSHOP
AND HERE IT IS
LET'S OPEN IT IN LE PHOTOSHOP
ALRIGHT, SO LET ME SHOW YOU HOW THIS WORKS
IT'S ACTUALLY SUPER SIMPLE
IF YOU SELECT
ANY OF THESE FACES
YOU CAN SEE THAT EACH OF THOSE UV'S
CORRESPOND TO A FACE
WHEN YOUR OBJECT
SO LET ME JUST FILL THEM WITH COLORS
FOR NOW
GREEN
BLUE
AND RED
AND LET'S APPLY A MATERIAL TO THIS
LET'S GO TO RENDERING
WE'RE GOING TO APPLY A NORMAL LUMBART
AND LET'S BRING IN OUR TEXTURE
BROWSE THE TEXTURE
WHICH IS
THE UV'S WE EXPORTED
A SMALL PROBLEM THERE WITH THE COLOR SPACE
THAT'S OKAY
I'M GOING TO SAVE THIS AS A PHOTOSHOP FILE
AND LET'S CALL IT LE BOX
BRING IN THE FILE
NOW WHEN YOU BRING IN YOUR TEXTURE
YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO SEE IT
SO YOU NEED TO GO TO
SHADING
AND YOU NEED TO ENABLE
HARBOUR TEXTURING
AND THEN YOU CAN SEE YOUR TEXTURE
SO GREEN IS GOING TO BE THE FLOOR
LET'S
GO FIND A TEXTURE FOR THE FLOOR
AND I'M JUST GOING TO TYPE
LET'S COPY THIS
THIS IS FROM TEXTURES.COM
OR SOMETHING
OKAY SO WE KNOW THAT THE GREEN
IS OUR FLOOR
SO LET'S PASTE THAT
WE'RE GOING TO MAKE THIS BIGGER
MAKE IT BIGGER
I'M HOLDING SHIFT AND ALT
TO DUPLICATE THIS
OUR FLOOR
NOW IF YOU SAVE THIS
LET ME RETURN TO MYA
AND HIT RELOAD
AND THERE IS OUR FLOOR
WOW JUST LIKE THAT
SO LET'S DO THE WALLS
SOMETHING LIKE INSIDE OF A BUILDING
KIND OF THING
WE DON'T WANT THIS FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES
SO I'LL JUST GRAB ANYTHING ON HERE
LET ME TRY THIS ONE HERE
FREE TEXTURES.COM
WOW
THIS IS FROM FREE STOCK TEXTURES
LET'S JUST COPY THIS
SO LET'S SAVE THIS
AND LET'S RELOAD THE TEXTURE
WOW
AND NOW WE HAVE WALLS
LET ME JUST BRING IN A LIGHT THERE
SO WE CAN SEE THINGS BETTER
I'M GOING TO MAKE A
AN AMBIENT LIGHT
LET'S SEE
INCREASE THE BRIGHTNESS
THERE WE GO
MUCH BETTER
AND THERE'S NO LIGHTS
OKAY
SO WE CAN SEE IT LIKE IT IS
PUT SOME DOORS HERE
OKAY
WE'RE JUST GOING TO PAINT THE DOORS
LET'S SEE WHAT KIND OF DOORS CAN WE PUT THERE
OH THAT LOOKS COOL
THAT LOOKS COOL THERE
WOW
OKAY, WAIT A SECOND
THAT LOOKS COOL TOO
THAT LOOKS PRETTY NEAT
KIND OF LIKE A HORROR KIND OF THING
I ACTUALLY MADE THE DOOR FROM YESTERDAY
WHICH IS WHY IT LOOKS REALLY BAD
ALRIGHT, LET'S SEE
WHOA
THAT'S A GOOD ONE
COPY THIS
LET ME JUST PASTE THE DOOR HERE
FLIP THIS ACTUALLY
LET ME JUST REMOVE THAT OUTLINE
LIKE THAT
MAGIC WAND TOOL
AND IT'S LIKE MAGIC
ALRIGHT
IF MAGIC WAS REAL
LET 'S SEE
AND LET'S SEE IF THE DOOR WAS IN THE RIGHT POSITION
AND LET ME JUST RELOAD THE TEXTURE
RELOAD TEXTURE
THERE IS THE DOOR OVER THERE
AND I THINK WE'RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK
ALRIGHT, LET ME MAKE ANOTHER DOOR
ON THE OTHER SIDE
JUST COPY THIS
SAVE IT
RELOAD
AND WE SHOULD HAVE A DOOR
ON THIS SIDE
OKAY,
PREFECT
PERFECT
WE ARE GOING TO
MAKE MORE OF THESE DOORS
SAVE IT AGAIN
AND RELOAD
AND NOW WE HAVE
MORE DOORS
SAVE IT
AND RELOAD IT AGAIN
THERE YOU GO
NOW WE HAVE
DOORS
OKAY, SO NOW WE NEED A CEILING
AND LET'S SEE
ALRIGHT, LET'S TRY THIS ONE HERE
LET'S PASTE THIS HERE
SO ELT'S SAVE THIS
BACK TO MYA
AND LET'S RELOAD
WHOA
AND THERE IS OUR TEXTURE THERE
OKAY
I THINK THIS NEEDS TO BE A BIT WIDDER
SO I'M SIMPLY GOING TO
SCALE THIS
THERE WE GO
SOMEWHERE AROUND THERE
LET ME DUPLICATE THIS
CTRL +D
DUPLICATES
YA, LET'S PLACE THIS HERE
AND LET'S RENDER THIS
THERE WE GO
THAT'S ALOT OF DOORS
THAT'S LIKE A HOTEL OR SOMETHING
AND LET ME MAKE THIS LOOK CREEPY
SEE LET ME JUST
TURN OFF MY
TURN OFF SNAP TO GRID
LET ME CHANGE THE LIGHT TYPE
TO A POINT LIGHT
AND WE'RE GOING TO USE QUADRATIC DECAY
CHANGE THE INTENSITY
TO SOMETHING HIGHER
10 IS STILL VERY LOW
LET ME JUST RENDER THIS
AND IT LOOKS KIND OF CREEPY
YUP IT LOOKS CREEPY
IT NEEDS MORE LIGHT THOUGH
SO LET ME JUST DUPLICATE THIS LIGHT
NOW THIS IS A VERY SIMPLE SET UP
BUT YA IT DOES LOOK KINDA CREEPY
AND I'M GOING TO MAKE A CAMERA
JUST LIKE A NORMAL CAMERA
IT'S JUST CALLED CAMERA ONE
LET ME SET THIS ANIMATION TO
MAYBE 300 FPS
THERE IS OUR CAMERA
LET ME SET X-RATE ON
SO YA LET'S PLACE OUR FIRST KEY FRAME
HERE
WE'RE GOING TO GO TO FRAME 400
AND LET'S PUSH OUR CAMERA
THERE WE GO
MAYBE WE CAN ROTATE THE CAMERA TOO
JUST LIKE WE DID YESTERDAY
LIKE SO
AND DON'T FORGET TO HIT S
TO LOCK YOUR KEYFRAME
LET ME JUST PLAY THAT BACK
NOT TOO BAD
AND GAIN WE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM
WE HAD YESTERDAY
IT GRADUALLY SLOWS DOWN
OKAY, AND WE DON'T WANT THAT
LET ME JUST SELECT THESE TWO KEY FRAMES
AND LET'S CHANGE THE TANGENTS TO
LINEAR, ACTUALLY FLAT
AND THAT'S MUCH BETTER
OKAY, LET ME JUST CHECK OUT THE LAST FRAME THERE
MAKE SURE THAT WE STILL HAVE LIGHT
NO WE DON'T HAVE ANY LIGHTS FOR THAT
HERE
WHOA
THAT'S CREEPY
I'M GOING TO END THE VIDEO HERE
BUT JUST LET ME RENDER THIS QUICKLY
LET ME JUST GO TO MY RENDERING SETTINGS FIRST
BUT I THINK I'M GOING TO RENDER
AN AVI FILE
HERE WE GO
SO WE'RE GOING TO RENDER FROM 1 TO 300
AND WE'RE GOING TO RENDER CAMERA ONE
LET'S RENDER THIS
BATCH RENDER
NOW WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE RENDERING
OKAY, SO IT'S DONE
LET'S SEE WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE
WHERE IS IT
WHERE IS MY ANIMATION
IT'S UNDER LE ROOM
LET'S LOOK UNDER IMAGES
THERE IT IS
IT'S CALLED UNTITLED AVI
OKAY SO LET'S WATCH THIS
WOW
THIS IS CREEPY

[NEW INTRO] HOW TO MAKE MUSICALLYS FOR BEGINNERS | 1 GIRL AND A LIFE - Duration: 7:32.

How Sex Impacts Worship - Duration: 3:53.
Hey friends,
Together we've been looking at what worship is — and how it's defined in God's Word.
Last week Jonathan helped us see that worship is a lot like a cake — if you missed that
video - go check it out using the link nearby and come back to watch this afterwards.
We took at a look last week at Romans 12:1 which says:
I appeal to your brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living
sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual
worship.
It's a bit surprising to learn that our spiritual worship is so connected to what we
do with our physical bodies.
We so often want to think that they're two separate things — but here in God's Word it shows us
that the two are connected.
We also see this connection in 1 Corinthians 6:13 which says:
Food is for the stomach and the stomach for food - and God will do away with them both.
However the body is not for sexual immorality but for the
Lord, and the Lord for the body.
Verse 15-17 says: Don't you know that your bodies are a part
of Christ's body?
Should I take a part of Christ's body and make it a part of a prostitute?
Absolutely not!
Don't you know that anyone joined to a prostitute is one body with her?
For Scripture says, "the two will become one flesh.
But anyone joined to the Lord is one spirit with him.
I know that we can get a little squirmy sometimes when we talk about sex — but I think it's important
for us to know that what we do with our bodies is an
important ingredient in our worship — and it's one that we sometimes want to ignore — especially
if we aren't walking in holiness in regards to sex.
In 1 Corinthians we saw that our bodies belong to the Lord — and the Lord is for our body.
Like Emily said, sometime we section off our lives and give parts of our lives to God. We maybe give Him our
Sunday morning times, that's for the Lord! And maybe our prayer before our meals - that's for the Lord too!
But what we see in 1 Corithinians is
that God wants every part of us, even down to our bodies and
what we do with them.
Paul makes a point to say that if we give our bodies to another person — we become
"one flesh" with them.
But what happens if we do what Romans 12:1 encourages us to do?
Remember - Romans 12:1 encourages us to give our bodies to the Lord as a living sacrifice.
What if we stop giving our bodies to our every will and desire - and instead
give our bodies to the will and desires of God?
The two passages align: Romans tells us that if we give
our bodies to God that's our spiritual act of worship. And 1 Corinthians tells us that if we give our bodies to God
that we become one spirit with God!
Just like when we give our bodies to another person and mysteriously become "one flesh"
with them — when we give our bodies to God - we
mysteriously become "one spirit" with Him — and that becomes a part of our spiritual
act of worship!
So what we do with our bodies in regards to sex greatly impacts our worship.
Our singing alone isn't our spiritual act of worship — handing over our bodies
to the will of God — pressing into holiness in this way is big part of our worship.
So don't let the enemy lie to you by telling you that God doesn't care about what you
do with your body.
What you do with your body matters a lot to God and He desires for you and I to be a living
sacrifice — yes!
It is a sacrifice to not do anything and everything our flesh desires to do — God knows that
and He's ask you and I to lay our bodies down at His feet.
To trust Him by giving ourselves to Him.
Keep reading the Word to learn how He want you to honor and worship Him with your body
— as we seek Him, He will be faithful to help us by
giving us the wisdom and the strength to do what He asks of us.
Thanks for joining us on the Weekly Word friends!
We'll see you next week!

Fast Forward Science 2017 | How To: Economic Field Experiments - Duration: 10:42.
okay thats cool
Finally we're here
I'm going to tell you what we are actually doing here in Namibia
Problems we were expecting to encounter
and those
that we didn't expect
So if someone asks me "Adrian what are you doing there in Namibia"
I'm saying
We are doing research about forestry
deforestation so to say
How farmers in villages decide and which kinds of incentives we can give them to not cut down the forest
That's not completely correct
We are observing the individuals behaviour
This has a lot to do with psychology
so the field of behavioural economics is tackling this subject
Of course it would make much more sense to just visit a village, look at the satellite pictures
look at the satellite pictures
and tell the people they would get payments or even fertilizers it they do not cut the forest
then you return after three years and observe the changes
and compare these changes to a village where you didn't give any incentives to not cut the forest
This would be possible
This method is called Randomized Controlled Trial
The disadvantage is that it is very expensive
and that we don't have the needed resources
What we are doing are Economic Field Experiments
This means that we expect the people in the villages here
here to make more realistic decisions
because the deal with these problems in their everyday live
than compared to students who make those decisions in the lab
We are just playing a game with the participans
where we ask them whether they want to clear and start a new field for higher yields
or to stay on their old field and protect the forest
A field on freshly cut forestland simply yields more harvest
Maybe one could defuse this problem with fertilizers
though most people in the villages do not have enough money for this measure
Which is why forest is being cut
But actually the forest is pretty important
Globally-in respect to climate change
Locally- the villagers can let their cattle graze, collect firewood and tinder from the forest
and the forest protects against desertification
The economist call this a "social dilemma"
If a single farmer clears forest area
there will still be enough forest for his cattle to graze
Though if everyone thinks like that the forest won't hold for long
Before we come to the experiments, we have got to take care of some things
Obvious things like Workvisa, financing, flights, accommodation and so on aside
we cant understand the local languages
Therefore we need reliable coworkers who speak the languages that are spoken here
who don't have a problem with driving from village to village for several days
sleeping in tents
and who can talk confidently in front of a big audience during the village meeting
We were pretty lucky
to find Cypriaan, Moses and James as great coworkers
though we had some who left early
Expression that we use on a daily base
have to be translated into a simple English
and then into the local languages
We have to make sure that at least the majority of the people understands
what we are doing here
Once you have started conducting data, you can't change anything from the protocol
without deleting previously conducted data
Everything that we tell the people has to be evaluated carefully
even small movements
every suggestion
everything can potentially bias the results
Once, for example, we were discussing for three days
how to correctly translate the word "game" into RuKwangali
randomize
In order to rule out the selection bias,
we have to make sure to randomly select all the villages we visit from a excel tabular
It can happen that we have to drive into the most remote locations
just because they were selected
Once we had to almost drive into a lion area and got stuck in the sand
we drove into the forest 4 hours ago
to search for a specific village, and found out that this village
is inhabited by only one household
We also choose our participants randomly
which means that we sometimes
have a grandpa as participant who doen not understand what we explain
Hey Adrian , how do you think this will be working?
You go to the village, introduce yourself to the headman
and ask if you he can organize a village meeting next Wednesday?
Exactly like that.
But wait. Beforehand we have to visit the king/queen of the respective region.
The Hompa
We have to explain our research and ask for permission to conduct the study
We finally reached the village meeting
The villagers have gathered, typically under a large tree
We pray together then we introduce ourselves, the headman addresses his people
and then Cypriaan and Moses explain what we are going to do
There will be a bag going around, people draw cards
Red, Blue, White depending on their group
So we split the people into treatment groups
explain the rules, make sure that everyone understood the game
and test if they understood and then the game can start
After everyone has made their decision
there will be a survey
We ask questions to everyone: age, eduation, trust
Meaning the trust to other participants or the village
We do all of it with this app
As soon as we have collected our data
they are freely available for us and we can start with statistical, econometric calculatons
you think that you are finally there
gathered almost all data, look at the dataset
after the first statistical calculations you realize:
there are no significances, no effects
all hypotheses
but wasn't everything just perfect?
this is when you start asking yourself
where you could have done something wrong
One comes up with crazy theories: maybe I did something wrong there, said something wrong
mistranslations?
did we have a misleading translation for the word "game"?
does the whitemaneffect
for me diferently that for my research colleague Chris?
because I might look more arabic
at this point it would be easy to manipulate the data
you would just have to cut out the data that doesn't fit to yout hypothesis and argue that they somehow do not fit in there
this is where you have to be honest
it's not the significances on the paper who matter in the end
but the knowledge
I'm back in germany by now
we did put the people into treatment groups
meaning the different groups had different possibilities to communicate
previous literature shows that
more communication leads to more social behaviour and cooperation
meaning forest will be protected more frequently
but with our research we seem to have found a phenomenon
that wasn't observed before
what it is: we cant tell yet
first we have to prove it in a scientifically correct manner
meaning not in this video
what we can say though:
no one was expecting these results
what will this project achieve once it is done?
researchers can use these insights
on the other hand
and this we can only hope
that governments and NGOs the our results to their advantage
and implement it into future policies

How Man Utd should line up next season should they manage to bring in their top transfer targets - Duration: 8:27.
How Man Utd should line up next season should they manage to bring in their top transfer targets
MANCHESTER UNITED are hoping to fire themselves back to glory next season. Jose Mourinhos first year at Old Trafford was a success after winning the Europa League and qualifying for the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho is eyeing Premier League and Champions League success next.
How Manchester United could line up next season. Now the Premier League and Europes top competition are surely next on his mind.
But to do so, the Portuguese boss will need to land his transfer targets in order to field the best possible starting XI. Here, The Peoples Person runs the rule over the ideal United lineup for next season.
David de Gea
MANCHESTER UNITED holding on to De Gea will once again be our best bit of business if he is still here on September 1.
Sergio Romero might have done very well in the Europa League last year but De Gea is one of the world's best goalkeepers. He'll be our undoubted No1 next year.
Antonio Valencia
FEW expected Valencia to have such a wonderful season at right-back but he corrected his positional discipline and turned himself into one of the best in the Premier League.
No player in United's squad completed more crosses than him and with Romelu Lukaku in the side, Valencia's importance might be even more obvious next year.
Eric Bailly.
I LOVE Bailly. There, I said it. His no nonsense, aggressive style makes it easy for fans to back him and it's not hard to see why.
I need to keep reminding myself Bailly is still only 23 because he's already top drawer, so if he keeps progressing at the rate he did before he went to the African Nations Cup, Bailly can grow into one of the world's best defenders.
Victor Lindelof.
NOW, Lindelof might have had a shaky start out on the pre-season tour but make no mistake – his arrival is huge for United. Bailly needs a ball-playing centre-back partner so he can be the aggressive defender and Lindelof matches him perfectly.
Luke Shaw.
UNITED desperately missed having an overlapping left-back last year but I have every confidence Shaw will return to his best.
I'm convinced it's just a matter of time before he settles in and shows exactly why Mourinho signed him.
Mourinho has shown faith by keeping him in the squad and I think Shaw will start repaying him straight away against West Ham.
Fabinho.
IF there is one position where United need a new signing, it is absolutely a defensive midfielder and there is nobody more suited to us than Fabinho.
The Frenchman's arrival would free up Paul Pogba to control the creative aspect of United's attacking play and protect our back-four as well, so we desperately need somebody of Fabinho's quality to sure up our midfield.
Paul Pogba.
EVERYBODY laughed when Mourinho said Pogba would make the £89million fee United paid for him look like a bargain. Mark my words – he will do exactly that this year.
Pogba's influence at United continues to grow every game and now he has his good friend Romelu Lukaku up top, expect the assists to come far more regularly. I can't wait to see him play this year.
Ander Herrera.
HERRERA operated as both a central and defensive midfielder last season and how he plays next term largely depends on who Mourinho signs.
I'd rather see Herrera play as the right central midfielder so we can make the most of his attacking qualities too.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
IT IS safe to say Mkhitaryan's first season was underwhelming but the Armenian midfielder will change that this year. I get the feeling he will genuinely feel like a new signing and his early pre-season form suggests that is the case.
I'm expecting Mkhitaryan to be our most improved player next season.
Romelu Lukaku.
The BIG man. Lukaku scored 25 goals for Everton last season, I think he'll get more than 30 with Pogba, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Juan Mata et al feeding him chances for fun.
Mourinho will adapt United's style of play somewhat to get the most out of Lukaku and I'm really confident he'll score plenty.
Anthony Martial.
THIS is a huge season for Martial. He didn't hit the dizzy heights of his debut campaign under Mourinho and question marks surrounded his future but his form on the pre-season has reminded fans of just how good he is.
With Martial and Mkhitaryan on the flanks and playing well, United will have a devastating front line.
Honourable mentions
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
WHENEVER I heard Ibrahimovic was using Carrington as his base to rehabilitate his injury, I thought a short-term deal from January onwards was on the cards and that opinion hasnt changed.
Imagine Ibrahimovic coming in halfway through the season? What a signing that would be.
Ivan Perisic
IF United do finally complete the signing of Perisic, then hed be fighting with Martial for that starting spot out on the left.
One thing Perisic brings which Martial doesnt is his natural instinct to go outside the full-back to swing a cross in.
That is a style which could see Lukaku score headers aplenty and if he does join its the main reason Id be excited to see what he can do.

How to Be a Biblical Nonconformist - Duration: 2:35.
What tends to happen among Christians is they say, 'Well, we're going to show the world
that we're different.
And what we are going to do is that we're going to show how different we are from the
world, by refusing to participate in the world's worldliness.'
Which means, 'we won't dance, and we won't wear makeup, and we won't go to movies, and
we won't play cards.'
I remember my first job teaching at a Christian college. I was hired to teach the Bible,
and before the school opened, they had a picnic on the beach.
Some students pulled out a deck of cards and started playing Bridge.
And the dean came over and confiscated the cards.
And that was my initiation to discover, to my horror, that the only card game that this
group of Christians was allowed to play was Rook, the Christian card game.
I said, "Rook!"
I said, "Rook!
I quit playing Rook when I was eight."
I said, "What are they going to do when they find out that their Bible professor plays
in duplicate Bridge tournaments?"
It never occurred to me that there's any spiritual or unspiritual about contract Bridge.
Imagine it.
It's absolutely incredible that that kind of thing emerges in a subculture.
But what happens is we look around, and we see things that people in the secular world
do, and we want to make sure that we don't appear in any way like secular people.
So we set up these artificial forms of nonconformity.
Ladies and gentlemen, the kingdom of God, has nothing to do with Rook.
Those are superficial types of nonconformity.
If you want to be a nonconformist, in the biblical sense, be somebody who's word can
be trusted; be somebody who will do what's right even if it costs them money.
That's different.
It's not that if everybody in the world is wearing white hats, we start to wear red ones.
That's not the nonconformity that the New Testament is talking about.

How American Family Insurance Uses Online Reviews to Build Customer Trust - Duration: 2:52.
I would say if you're not listening to your customers in today's world,
you're crazy.
To survive to be a leader in today's marketplace, you have to listen to your customers.
[music]
We weren't paying attention to reviews beforehand, but it wasn't until
we brought ReviewTrackers onboard and provided it to all of our agents that I was really
aware of, that we should be taking a look at this and why.
We know actually customers are looking at reviews when it comes to where they gonna
put their hard-earned dollars and who they're gonna interact with or a trusted advisor on
insurance.
I've seen like iCharts of the number of review sites that are out there and it's
mind-boggling.
An agent that has a ton of great reviews and five stars is probably gonna be
top of the list and probably gonna get more phone calls than an agent that doesn't show
up in that list at all.
By the time somebody is reading reviews, they've pretty much made the decision
that they wanna work with you.
They're looking to see, "Oh, you have more one-star reviews than five-star reviews.
Oh, if that's the case, then I'm gonna move away and move along."
And if somebody had a bad experience, get in front of them right then and there.
There's a way to make it right.
My first impression was, "Wow, they're taking a look at a lot of websites that we
don't have to independently watch."
ReviewTrackers let us tap into a variety of different platforms in a really
easy way.
They made it easy for our agents to use them, made it easy for our corporate office to use
and understand it, and made easy for us to take action on what we were hearing.
For myself as administrator, so I step back and I'm looking at all of these
ReviewTrackers accounts in our enterprise, like how...
Where are we going, how many reviews are we getting every month?
I can start to see patterns or trends and overall, how are we doing?
We also know that responding to reviews is very important from a social point of view.
How it makes life easier, being able to respond to a Google review right in the ReviewTrackers,
because hey, you can just hit this button, you can respond right here in ReviewTrackers,
you don't even have to leave that environment.
But the reviews are so much more important from a public-facing point of view.
We want to have that marriage of digital marketing and social media, where people are writing
reviews that others can see.
I want every customer to know that our mission is to delight them, to make their life easy.
And so, why not make it easy for them to tell their friends about it?

How Do You Get the Gig? | #AskMeAnything - Duration: 7:03.
the most important question is how do you get the gig how do you get the gig
how do you get the film let me tell you a little bit history about myself I had
a successful electronic music career for a really long time and in 2002 I had a
number-one hit with a remix I did of Elvis a little less conversation and in
two thousand seven or eight I got a Grammy nomination for a remix I did for
Madonna and I was here in town and I noticed right away when I got here
this is going to take a long time this is not going to be easy I saw the work
that people like Harry gregson-williams and Hans Zimmer put into their work how
they knew everything about this profession and I knew I am NOT going to
be able to score a movie just like that and I felt like I need to learn a lot I
need to talk to a lot of people I need to meet a lot of people so I got here in
2003 and I struggled and I struggled my junk Excel Korea was still going on and
that was going great I was touring I was going around the world I was playing
festivals that was going really great but as a film composer nothing I and I
did this and I did that and I tried this and I did demos with that person and
demos with this person nothing happened and what was really interesting is that
I wanted it so bad that it's almost like when you go to a bar and you want to
pick up a girl and it's always like written on your forehead you want it so
bad that you're radiant in negative energy that it will not happen that
night and it was the same for me with film scoring and I'm sure this is
everybody recognizes this whether you're a woman or whether you're a guy you walk
into a bar just you know to get a drink and then you want to go home
when you're not expecting it you meet something where you meet somebody very
interesting and this is exactly what happened to me with film scoring so in
2008 I felt so down that it wasn't taking off for me it wasn't happening
and I went back to Holland and I spent a couple of months in Holland and I was
like so what am I supposed to be doing and I was like you know what I'm not
going to go back to LA I'm fine in Amsterdam and I talked to my manager and
he said you know just come back to LA for a couple of months and see how it
feels and if you really feel like you want to go back okay let's move back to
- to Holland so I came back and I felt um you know like reborn and I felt
relaxed about it and I worked harder than I ever did before in my life way
harder than before but I didn't need it to be that film
composer anymore I was like if it happens it's okay if it doesn't happen
that's okay too but I worked so hard but I was somewhat detached from the feeling
that it needed to happen it was like if it's okay that would be great if it's
not happening life is still okay and then the most interesting thing happens
then out of the blue I started to develop this friendship with Hans and in
2011 I started collaborating with him and then I met SEK Schneider and through
that I started doing 300 rise of an empire and through that I was able to
work on Mad Max and I was able to work on all these other movies like out of
the blue everything started taking off so long story short is that you need to
work really hard in my in my scenario but I always okay with the fact that if
it didn't happen it didn't happen and then I analyzed years you know years
later just like recently why did it happen to me and I think it has a lot to
do with the fact that I was willing to work really hard and I was willing to
work for another composer for a while to learn everything that
that person knows and I think that's the key to getting a gig is that you work
from somebody that you really admire you try to get a job with a composer that
you admire maybe multiple jobs with multiple composers and you learn what
that person has to offer to you you don't need to necessarily like his style
you don't need to necessarily like his music but every composer that actually
has a job in town is a very valuable person to talk to and that's what I
tried in those years because they have an input in that industry that you don't
have and they can teach you what you potentially should learn to get to that
point so for me to be able to work with Harry gregson-williams with Klaus
Modell's a couple of other composers and eventually with Hans gave me not only
all the knowledge that I needed but also the network of people I got to learn
directors I got to learn music editors I got to learn people from the studio I
got to learn other people that are important in this in this industry
because I was working with these composers and they were like oh hey Tom
how are you again are you going you know so you become a familiar face but it
takes a long time it took me 10 years so you have to be ready to be ready for a
long ride and even at the end of that you'll never know if you're able to
succeed or not and yes you need to have some luck in the stars that smile at you
that certain things will happen at a certain point and for some people it
happens and for some people it doesn't happen but that's the nature how this
life works and I still think that's the best advice how to get a gig is to
intern with a composer potentially move to another composer potentially move to
another composer learn absorb learn absorb get to know people in a network
in the industry get to know directors get to know studio people and eventually
branch out on your own and don't forget when I started doing my own film
when I was 44 roughly people considered me young so think about that when you're
24 and you just finished studying sub scoring
so I hope that answers that question you

How the French Government Stole Hundreds of Children to Help Repopulate Rural France - Duration: 8:37.
Imagine if your past was erased.
Imagine if you woke up one day and
everything you knew about yourself was fake.
Imagine if this happened to more than just yourself Let's say, an entire group of children.
Well, it did, in France, beginning in the 1960s.
So, if this happened to you as a child,
imagine now as an adult, piecing together the mystery of who you are.
Let's rewind, tell me the whole story from the start.
This is where you are born, la Réunion.
A small piece of land in the middle of the Indian Ocean that was colonized
by the French empire in the 17th century.
This is where you grew up.
La Creuse, a rural area in Central France.
Around the time you were born in 1963, France was struggling to hold
on to its colonies.
Réunion was suffering from over
population and a growing poverty.
know was that hundreds and
What you didn't know was that
hundreds and hundreds of children were sent
from La Réunion to France.
Just like you.
At the time, it was advertised as a win win.
France would welcome kids from poor families.
And they would, in turn, help repopulate France's deserted areas.
Local authorities convinced the children's parents to let them go.
Allegedly by promising to educate them, and allow them to visit home.
Most of the parents were illiterate, and
signed over the guardianship of the children.
To complete the transition from
La Réunion to France, you and many other children were never told of your past.
Most French didn't know either.
And you tried by all
means to resemble her.
In the early 80s, the deportations stopped.
But you started to question the past.
You
then discovered that you had brothers and sisters.
They were sent to France too.
In fact, they grew up in the exact same town as you,
you just never knew they existed.
You are not the only one beginning to uncover the secrets.
In the early 2000s, a former La Réunion child sued the state of France for
deportation, it became a state scandal.
This is when you discover the most about your past.
In 2014 your country recognized its responsibility in your deportation,
and claimed it is necessary to teach the story.
But as a commission is investigating what happened, the uncertainty remains.
How?
Why?
Who are you now?
Who do you see when you look at yourself?
