Youtube daily we Jul 18 2017

After a deck-clearing, barn-burner (Sept-burner, technically) of a season finale like "The Winds of Winter" — a towering achievement by any metric, not least of which, you know: body count — you'd be forgiven for expecting a season premiere that would concern itself with placing Game of Thrones' scattered, wildfire-singed gamepieces back on the board, methodically and meticulously

And yet: Things are ostensibly speeding up, right? This seventh season is an abbreviated one — 7 episodes, not the usual 10 — and we've got only a total of thirteen episodes to go. Granted, some of those later episodes will reportedly clock in with runtimes that'll seem positively Apatowian, but the point is: Now is not the time for shilly-shallying

No, now is the time for plot threads to tighten, for the show to speed headlong toward its shattering conclusion. The fun, world-buildy elements will inevitably fall away as the series picks up speed in the homestretch, and we'll learn what the show's really about.

Because Game of Thrones has a big decision to make. It prides itself on its nuanced, morally gray worldview, where people make hard choices not because they are Good or Evil, but because they are human and flawed, and the conditions they face demand such choices

The battles for rule of the Seven Kingdoms are fought between weak, opportunistic people striving to stay alive. There have been dastardly villains, surely, but the story of Game of Thrones thus far has been that human cruelty can arise in the most surprising places, from even the purest intentions. That layered understanding of human frailty is what makes it all so satisfyingly complex, and thoughtful, and resonant

But then you got them ice-zombies. The Night King and his army of the dead are not complex, thoughtful or resonant. They're Ultimate Evil, and they're coming. Has the show spent six seasons getting us invested in the question of just whose butt will end up perched on the Iron Throne, only to toss it all aside for a final Tolkienesque showdown between the Good People and the Evil Not-People? Will everyone just put aside their differences to fight the Undead Ice Monsters and then call it a day?

Strap in. We're about to find out.

Mission: Unpotable First up: A cold open. That ... circles back to business we thought concluded last season. At The Twins, Walder Frey gathers all the men of House Frey for a feast. For a moment we think: Flashback? But then we remember that Arya Stark still has her magic Mission: Impossible masks (and magic shoe lifts, evidently, and magic shoulder pads, and magic old man hands)

Arya does a passingly good Walder. She's got the humorless chuckle, the leering sneer. The drinks are served — "the finest Arbor Gold" — which boasts flirty, herbaceous notes of grass and green apple with a lingering finish of poison. Arya goes off-script as she reminds them that they slaughtered the Starks at the Red Wedding, but by that point the crowd's too distracted by their organs' liquefaction to notice

"Tell them winter came for House Frey," Arya tells a nonplussed server, before walking towards the camera, away from a scene of slaughter, and letting a slight smile play on her lips just at the last moment. Which is to Game of Thrones what "What you talkin' bout, Willis?" was to Diff'rent Strokes.

Intro Map! Kings Landing! Dragonstone! The Twins! Winterfell! The Wall! Oldtown! No disorienting zoom across the Narrow Sea! Probably ever again! Let that sink in!

Raising Bran Bran has a vision of the oncoming horde of evil unkillable ice-zombies, which now count some ice-zombie-giants among their number. The Night's Watch grant him entry into the tunnel below the Wall, on account of he's got a cool new sled and he tells people who they are, and what they already know.

Cut to: Jon Snow addressing the crowd at Winterfell, passing on information they can use about dragonglass (finally!) and the need for everyone to prepare. (No reunion with Bran, quite yet.) Li'l Lyanna Mormont gets another opportunity to display her consummate badassery, and there's the first sign of what will surely become a growing rift between Jon and Sansa, who very publicly disagrees with Jon's show of mercy toward two Houses who did not back him against the Boltons.

We will see more of this, I suspect: Characters who cannot let go of their obsession with the old, internecine struggles of the Seven Kingdoms pitted against characters who are instead oriented toward the future, and the war with Ultimate Icy Evil. Sansa shows herself to be preoccupied with old grudges - which will make her a very popular figure in the North— and Jon has his eyes on the icy future.

"We still have a Wall between us and the Night King!" says Sansa. Put a pin in that; it'll become important later.

Mapper's Delight In Kings Landing, Cersei had commissioned a fabulous map room, the better for her to stride across the breadth of Westeros like a boozy giant. Jaime visits, and they conveniently exposit their position: hemmed in from all sides

From the East: Daenerys and her armada are on the way. From the South and West: Dorne and Highgarden have joined her. From the North: Ned Stark's bastard. From the North-Northwest: the town of Otisburg is yeah no never mind, joke for six people

Jaime brings up Tommen, which sends Cersei reaching — clutching, really — for the merlot. He insists that they need allies if they're to survive. Cut to: Euron Greyjoy's ships sailing into Blackwater Bay.

Euron stands before the Iron Throne, looking like he's stopped by the Flea Bottom Hot Topic on his way in. (Seriously: Leather pants on a seafarer? Do the Ironborn not chafe?) Euron's being set up as this season's Boltonesque villain, and it shows: Dude doesn't quite twirl that mustache of his, but he comes close. I am officially not picking up what this guy is putting down. He proposes to Cersei, she refuses, and he vows to return with "a gift, a priceless gift." (Tyrion in chains, is my guess.)

Maester Maester At the Citadel, poor Sam is saddled with the grueling duties of being a Maester-in-training, which involve a percussive montage of poop, urine and soup. It's a digestive-tract "Cell Block Tango" basically

We meet the Arch-Maester, played by the great and good Jim Broadbent, who seems cool and aloof and perfectly sensible, but is not about to let Sam into the ... RESTRICTED AREA OF THE LIBRARY. But at least he believes Sam's story of White Walkers, by virtue of his cool aloofness and sensibility. Which is something, but not much of it.

The Arch-Maester delivers a nifty little speech that affirms his sanguine worldview: Everyone always thinks the world is ending, but it never does. Here's the important bit: "The Wall has stood through it all."

That's it: Call your bookie. Put your money down on the The Wall crumbling to the ground sometime this season. I say episode seven.

Of course, Sam breaks into the RESTRICTED AREA OF THE LIBRARY and sneaks out a couple books. (In an earlier season, all of this library business would have taken three to four episodes. You know it would.)

At Winterfell, the Tormund-Brienne whatever-it-is inches forward, as Sansa shuts down Littlefinger's wheedling in a way that feels deeply satisfying.

Arya meets up with a band of soldiers — including, yes, let's just move past this, Ed Sheeran, because the world is a confusing and off-putting place — who offer her food and conversation and Sheeran-singing. The point, I think: These are nice kids who are just doing a job, which might begin to abrade the edges of Arya's calcified, vengeance-driven worldview.

Hounds of Love The redemption arc of The Hound continues apace, as we revisit a location from the season 4 episode "Breaker of Chains," in which Sandor stole silver from a kindly farmer and his daughter. There follows a philosophical discussion between Sandor, Beric Dondarrion, and Thoros of Myr, which ends with Sandor staring into the flames and having a vision of the Night King's army.

And deciding to bury the bones of the farmer and his daughter, because he's now the kind of guy who does things like that. (Did that sound glib? Because this was a nice, underplayed moment, and I'm glad that they're finding time for pure characterization even as we're barreling towards the end.)

Back in Oldtown, poring over his plundered library books, Sam makes a discovery: a mountain of dragonglass below the ground at Dragonstone. The next day, he makes another discovery: Jorah Mormont, with an advanced case of greyscale, languishing in a cell.

Dragonstone. Daenerys and her armada arrive on the shore, and the Mother of Dragons proceeds to demonstrate an entirely new eldritch power: the ability to walk across wet sand in a chunky heel.

She returns to her ancestral home as the score swells and the camera zooms. They walk into the Targaryen throne room — a confined place of cool shadows utterly unlike the sun-blasted plains we've come to identify with her — and the map room where so many of Stannis Baratheon's doomed plans were hatched.

"Shall we begin?" she asks. But it's not a question.

Peter Schiff Warns "Nothing Has Changed Under Trump… We're Headed For A Major Crisis!" - Duration: 4:43.

People don't want to believe that this economy is built on a house of cards and that their

standard of living is in jeopardy.

From Mac Slavo:

When Donald Trump was elected, there was so much optimism among libertarians and conservatives,

it was almost palpable.

However, it's only been several months into his first term, and it's becoming quite

apparent that Trump is no savior.

In retrospect, it was foolish to think any single person could snap his fingers, and

reverse decades of financial mismanagement and political corruption.

It was foolish to think that he could dismantle an entrenched bureaucracy that is more powerful

than most people realize.

But not everyone was convinced that Trump was going to be able to turn this ship around.

Peter Schiff knew that the damage done by the political establishment was irreversible,

and that our financial system was living on borrowed time.

In a recent interview with Future Money Trends, Schiff explains why Donald Trump can't stop

the inevitable, and how you can crash proof your assets ahead of the economic pain that

is coming:

Donald trump should already be disappointing a lot of people who thought we were going

to get change, we were going to make America great again.

We didn't repeal Obamacare, that's here to stay.

Major tax reform is dead.

We're dropping bombs.

I mean it's the same old same old right?

Big government… bigger deficits… more cheap money… keep the air in the bubble.

We're headed for a major major crisis.

As for what that major crisis will be, it's not what most people would expect.

As Schiff points out, it's not going to be triggered by one sector of the economy,

as we saw in during the last financial crash.

The crisis is going to emerge with the dollar itself, which Schiff says could cause precious

metal prices to soar.

Everyone is taking for granted the fact that the dollar is king, but it's not going to

be for long.

Not when our government continues to rack up debt like a compulsive gambler; which at

this point, doesn't appear to be changing under Trump.

The dollar is living on borrowed time, literally.

And so we just don't know.

It's like a bomb with a fuse, but we just don't really know how long the fuse is.

The dollar, I think is in a major bubble.

I think it is in the process of topping out.

I think once it completes this top it's going down.

And I think it's going to take out the lows from 2008…

…I think it's going to go down for the count.

Because the last time, what saved the dollar was the financial crisis, and that crisis

resulted in everybody buying the dollar.

But I think the next crisis is not going to be the same crisis that we had in 08.

I think the dollar is going to be the crisis.

I don't think it's going to be a bread and butter financial crisis.

This is going to be a currency crisis.

So it's going to be the US government.

It's not going to be the mortgage markets that's blowing up.

It's going to be the treasury bond market that's blowing up.

It's going to be the Federal Reserve that's blowing up.

And this is going to be a major major negative for the dollar, not a positive.

We really don't know how long that fuse is, but there's no doubt that it's been

lit.

There is a frustrating truism in economics.

You can easily predict if something bad is going to happen, but you can never predict

when it's going to happen.

That's because the economy is built on numbers that are easy to calculate, but it's impossible

to predict how people will react to those numbers.

In our case, people don't want to believe that this economy is built on a house of cards

and that their standard of living is in jeopardy.

That willful ignorance, that confidence, can keep the show going long after the curtain

should have been drawn.

However, no amount of confidence can keep an unsustainable system running forever.

Eventually, reality becomes impossible to ignore.

Trump doesn't want to preside over a major decline in our standard of living, but ultimately

that has to happen.

Because this is the consequence of all this excess consumption that went on before he

was president.

You know, we sacrificed our future to indulge our past.

The future is now the present.

We're here, and it's time to pay the piper.

There's only one thing you can do, according to Peter Schiff.

Prepare yourself and your family with real assets like gold and silver that will keep

your finances afloat during the next currency crisis.

We Have No Clue! (Pro Tips From The Layman) Motorhome Full-Time Living - Duration: 5:22.

...so we bought a Motorhome. We did. Now what? We live in it! We live in it.

What inspired us? Well, we got very very excited with "Exploring Alternatives" video

Immediately we went... "Let's do this! Let's do this!"

cuz you're a lunatic?! Got it! Well, yeah, hmm.... We weren't in a good place. We... I was living

where I worked. Things weren't going very well... Yeah it was complicated. You almost died. I almost died

and we were kind of hungry for something different. Yeah.

Something that made our lives worthwhile really. Yeah we needed to minimize a lot. We had

a ton of stuff to sell. Yeah, we didn't go out much so we bought a lot of toys!

Ha ha, you're funny! Yeah because we didn't get out all we did was spend money on crap

that would keep us busy. Crap to fill the void in our lives!

Lovely! All right. We started toying with the idea making plans

Yeah, we were saving money. We were trying to... saving money for a year at least. That was the plan

Looking at everything we had which was a lot trying to figure out how we're going to get

rid of it, if we're going to sell it, if we're going to give it away... Yeah. Who we're going

to give it to. That was a lot of harsh decisions and very severe cutting... and

only then we really saw how much stuff we had accumulated... and it was a lot!!! A lot of stuff.

From music, to DVDs, to drones to... Oh you... No! Not my toys! Don't... Computers, gadgets

games, whatever. My craft stuff cuz I love arts and crafts. Took a while! Took a while. But

we managed to sell, give, give it to charity... few things were left behind... Yeah...

We're okay I guess. We were saving money. We saved a lot, hmm... and then what happened?

And then, well we researched we looked for a lot of motorhomes, look at a

lot of stuff. First we wanted a van then we wanted cheaper motorhome then we

needed a bigger one then we... because it's us and the two cats and we.... have special

needs so to speak. You're special! Because we have... we work in

different schedules than most people and we have two pets, two lovely annoying pets

Chewie and Priddy. Cats! Cats and yeah so we needed a specific type of motorhome, that well...

that's how we decided what kind of vehicle we wanted and we got it! One day we just saw it

Actually, you should point out that we pretty much grabbed the first thing we

saw. Live, you mean? Yeah. We saw it online. The first journey we made we just went like... "okay"

We loved it! "Shall we do something crazy here?" And we did! We were supposed to get

there and pretend like we didn't like it much so we get a better price. Play hard to get. Yeah.

And then, we just loved it and we just wanted to take it home. And we did. We took it home

We've done this for 10 months now. Almost 10 months. Yeah. It's been challenging...

At times. But rewarding... as long as the balance is positive. The balance is positive.

Why do we do it again? Well... Did we crunch the numbers? We crunched the numbers for there's...

LEADING THE WITNESS, YOur highness! We had a lot of reasons, I guess

adventure, I guess we wanted to be different

have a different lifestyle and we wanted to live more, more meaningful lives we

wanted to save money You fill your life with experiences, not things! You... We're not, we're still in the rat race

but we're getting there eventually we still... We had a few trips we've been

to Portugal. We've driven this thing to Portugal! So yeah, we slowly will get

there to the Nirvana. Yeah we want to... Where we're going with this? So we're saving

money, this is allowing us to save money so we can have a bit of land,

build a tiny house... Yeah, and hopefully you live off the land, like two proper hippies! And that's the plan.

Well, we have the hair and the beards! Oh, you're funny! Don't start. Yeah

I guess that's it, really! So join us I guess. Yeah come around and listen to a few...

Our nonsense! And share your thoughts and we'll see you around...

OR NOT! WE DON'T CARE! HA HA! Thanks for listening, I guess. Thank you. Bye!

MIND CONTROL TECHNOLOGY IS FAR ADVANCED BEYOND WHAT WE KNOW - Duration: 10:41.

MIND CONTROL TECHNOLOGY IS FAR ADVANCED BEYOND WHAT WE KNOW

Mind control technology is far advanced beyond what we know.

And, thanks to certain whistleblowers and researchers, what we already know is truly

scary.

The worldwide conspiracy is all about control, and controlling your mind is one of its ultimate

goals.

This doesnt mean just controlling the flow of information into your mind (via censorship

and propaganda).

It means literally controlling what you think and feel, piping thoughts and dreams into

your mind subliminally (so youll never know its happening) and even erasing your

memories or implanting false ones.

The current state of mind control technology is a highly dangerous weapon, and at this

stage, the best thing we can do is to become more aware of it.

Lets begin with the Lilly wave (named after Dr. John C. Lilly, who worked at the US National

Institutes for Health in areas including dolphin brain implants).

In this discussion with Jeff Rense, Dr. Patrick Flanagan reveals how he was friends with Lilly.

According to Flanagan, Lilly developed technologies for bypassing the mechanism of

the human brain that resist programming.

By chance, Lilly later discovered that there were signals coming in from the power grid

(with embedded ultrasonic wave forms and shapes) using his own invention, the Lilly wave, which

had been weaponized (like just about everything).

Flanagan also states that some of his own inventions were suppressed, taken and used

for mind control purposes against the public.

The article The Lilly Wave And Psychotronic Warfare states: [The Lilly wave] is a bi-phasic

electric pulse which stimulates the neurons of the brain to resonate at a certain frequency,

thus the Lilly wave has the ability to control the brainwave patterns of the brain.

There is however a far more advanced form and a largely unknown and suppressed purpose

in the use of the Lilly Wave.

The water molecules within the brain can be made to resonate at a desired frequency thus

causing the electrons that comprise the brains electrical voltages to also resonate at the

same frequency.

It is not a requirement, as is understood by the majority of science, to implant electrodes

to cause the brains water molecules to be entrained to a certain frequency, it can also

be accomplished by any waveform that can penetrate the skull and cause the entrainment of the

brains water molecules.

For example, radio waves emitted at a frequency of 40hz, targeted at a persons brain, will

entrain the water molecules to a degree of 40hz and thus the rest of the brains electrons

will resonate at such a frequency.

In this manner it is possible to stimulate and control the brains wave patterns remotely,

with electromagnetism and also acoustic waves in short, the Lilly Wave is best described

as a targeted resonance of the brains molecules. ERASING REAL MEMORIES AND IMPLANTING FAKE

ONES Melissa and Aaron Dykes of Truthstream Media have released some informative videos

in the last 1-2 years on the general theme of mind control.

This videoreveals how scientists say they can now erase memories (and implant false

ones).

This video exposes what the Davos controllers were planning and discussing (in 2016) for

the future brain mapping.

Its Minority Report stuff coming true day by day, with technology rapidly advancing

to decode your brain.

This means decoding exactly what you are thinking and feeling, as well as what you have just

done (e.g. watched a movie): we can reconstruct the objects and actions in the

movie just from your brain thoughts and feelings that you may not be able to verbalize,

or may not want to verbalize, they may still leave a signature in your brain, and we might

be able to decode that if we could get to the point where you can have an unwilling

suspect having their brain decoded there are no legal protections that could be afforded

to you

One of the speakers then goes on to say that right now there are no legal concepts or protections

such as mental privacy or cognitive liberty.

This is where the discussion was already at over 1 year ago!

HENDRICUS LOOS AND HULU In another video, Truthstream Media expose the patents of a

certain Hendricus G. Loos.

One of his patents (US Patent 6,506,148 B2 from 2003) is entitled Nervous System Manipulation

by Electromagnetic Fields from Monitors.

It details how your emotional state can be changed by modifying (pulsing) the EM (electromagnetic)

fields around you which electronic devices like TV screens and computer monitors already

do.

Loos writes: It is therefore possible to manipulate the nervous system of a subject

by pulling images displayed on a nearby computer monitor or TV set. Two things must be noted

here.

Firstly, this can all be done subliminallywithout you consciously noticing it.

Secondly, the idea of pulsed RF signals is exactly what smart meters are doing to destroy

your health.

Pulsed EM fields are especially dangerous to the human energetic field and the NWO

controllers know it.

How will the 5G grid and IoT contribute to all this?

Interestingly, some have suggested that the TV company Hulu derived its name from Hendricks

Loos.

Hulu famously released its video ad with Alec Baldwindetailing how they produce programs

that turn peoples brains to mush in order to prime the brains up for eating by aliens.

Just a coincidence, Im sure.

EX-CIA AGENT REVEALS SHOCKING EXTENT OF MIND CONTROL TECHNOLOGY: VOICE OF GOD, OIW, FORCED

DREAMS & CYBERNETIC HIVE MIND If what Ive covered so far shocks you, its nothing

yet.

Check out this 2016 presentation from Dr.

Robert Duncan (ex-CIA agent, black ops insider and mind control expert who worked on numerous

mind control technology projects).

Duncan is literally shaking with nervousness as he gives the speech, probably because he

knows the information he is letting out is so sensitive it could get him killed.

He reveals how every individual can be mapped into the mind control network of the military

intelligence agencies, because each human has a unique resonance signature.

He confesses that he worked on a mind control weapon known as the Voice of God, which

has 4 different techniques that can pipe voices into peoples heads.

After a person is subjected to the Voice of God, they can easily be controlled through

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques, because their thought processes have been

rewired.

The Voice of God is part of a broader weapon array known as OIW (Offensive Information

Warfare).

It was used in the Iraq War against the Iraqi soldiers voices were piped into their

brains commanding them to surrender (saying something like Drop your weapons, this

is Allah).

Duncan reveals that dreams can be hacked in fact.

This is especially insidious, since people believe dreams are their private creation.

Although he admits the existence of these forced dreams or induced dreams, he states

he cant say which organization is responsible for projecting them.

However, a good guess would be DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) which is

pushing forward the transhumanism agenda.

DARPA has been involved in all sorts of mind control activities, such as creates a Cybernetic

Hive Mind which combined soldiers, EEG brainwave scanners, 120-megapixel cameras,

and multiple computers running cognitive visual processing algorithms to significantly

improve the US Armys threat detection capabilities.

The above is just a snippet of what is out there, and that in turn is just a fraction

of the true state of mind control technology (hidden in black military projects).

It is undeniable that a mental-emotional control grid is being set up all around us, using

the power grid and electronic devices to transmit and subliminally influence us.

Some may argue that this technology can be used for good, but lets be realistic.

This mind control technology has the clear and inherent capacity to be exploited in horribly

manipulative ways.

Controlling peoples memories strikes at the heart of what it means to be human: to

be able to have your own experiences, feel all the emotions involved in them (including

grief and sadness), and learn from your mistakes.

Erasing memories is akin to erasing your identity; its the very sense of who you are.

Its like the chemical numbing that so many synthetic pharmaceutical drugs deliver.

Its like the soma of Huxleys Brave New World, a metaphor for all the substances available

to us to make us ignore, deny and forget the pain, rather than facing up to it and dealing

with it.

To those interested in truth and liberty, surely this subject must take on paramount

importance with our research focus.

It is hard to understate the extreme danger this technology poses to our freedom.

This Morning reveal just how many selfies we take before posting – and it may surprise you - Duration: 2:58.

This Morning reveal just how many selfies we take before posting – and it may surprise you

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes sat down with Self-Esteem Team co-founder Grace Barrett to discuss the pressure we face to post the perfect selfie – if one existed.

The chat was started because new statistics show that negative body image and low self-esteem are a major cause of concern among young people when it comes to selfies.

The gang were also joined on the sofa with Hannah Adams and Anti-bullying ambassador Chilli Goodman – both 16 – to talk about the effect filters are having on our lives.

Hannah revealed as a young person she felt pressured to take good photos, while Chilli added that she has felt the need to copy her peers pics, and some people take it to the extreme. Hannah opened up about her own personal battle with her self-esteem, admitting she became obsessed with filters in her bid to appear perfect.

ITV SELFIES: Are they causing more harm than good?.

itv SELF-ESTEEM TEAM CO-FOUNDER: Grace Barrett joined the discussion. She bravely opened up on the ITV show, saying: I got bullied in primary school and in my last high school, everyone made comments about my hair and because I was pale.

I ended up hating how I looked and I just wanted to change it. Talking of her fellow pupils, she added: I became obsessed with looking through their Instagrams to look at what apps they used to filter their photos. Host Ruth then asked: Did you have a moment when you thought what am I doing, this has become like an addiction now?.

ITV HOSTS: Ruth and Eamonn were hosting the chat.

Grace Barrett Hannah replied: It really did concern me after a while and I started to realise that sometimes it is better not to filter them. Chilli also insisted that she felt a responsibility to post a true representation of herself without the filters when she noticed young people were commenting on how pretty she was.

When asked how bad this problem has become, mental health expert Grace insisted: The problem is pretty bad, I enter many classrooms every week and talk to teens about various issues, this included.

Lately Ive been asking students how many photos they take before posting one online. That number sits around 20 on average. Most people in that classroom think its just them who take that many.

ITV FILTER OBSESSED: Hannah Adams didnt even look like herself anymore in pics. I think we need to open up the conversation, because as soon as we do that everyone sees its not just them.

Its about knowing that if were honest, were not going to be the only one. Grace added: Weve been sold this concept for a long time. Weve been sold the idea that if were beautiful or successful were valuable.

I think as adults we need to start flying the flag too. At The Self-Esteem team, all of our filters are completely unfiltered, we took that vow as of January..

Should we Put Hydrogen Peroxide on our Cuts? - Duration: 6:03.

As a child, did you ever skin your knee and fear telling your parents, afraid of your

mom breaking out the brown bottle of pain containing hydrogen peroxide to "help heal"

your wound?

Given the agony it caused, you might have wondered whether the fizzing liquid was actually

helping, and why hydrogen peroxide bubbles when it comes in contact with your skin.

If you're still wondering today, well, wonder no more.

To begin with, hydrogen peroxide does indeed kill bacteria, viruses, fungi and a whole

host of pathogens thanks to the fact that it is a powerful oxidizing agent.

So in theory it seems like a great idea to pour it on a fresh cut to help prevent infection.

It turns out, however, that while this has been a staple home treatment for cleaning

various cuts and abrasions for nearly a century, you probably shouldn't use hydrogen peroxide

to disinfect your wounds.

To better understand why not, we'll need to look at what hydrogen peroxide is and how

it manages to kill microorganisms.

hydrogen-peroxideChemically speaking, hydrogen peroxide, which is a naturally occurring molecule

within the human body, is two parts hydrogen and two parts oxygen (H2O2), with the molecule

held together by the two oxygen atoms.

As a result of these oxygen atoms having a very weak bond, the molecule breaks down rather

easily, potentially introducing free radicals into your system.

Left unchecked, this would all result in a host of problems within the human body.

In fact, because hydrogen peroxide's claim to fame is primarily its great oxidizing effect,

up until relatively recently it was thought that its presence in the body had only damaging

effects.

However, recent research, such as that performed by the German Cancer Research Center (Deutsches

Krebsforschungszentrum) in 2014 was able to show that hydrogen peroxide is an essential

chemical messenger helping the body's cells respond to outside hormones and growth factors.

As Dr. Tobias Dick sums up, "We know today that the body's own H2O2 is vital for signal

processing in a healthy organism."

That said, the level of H2O2 must be maintained in a specific range (between 0.05 micromol/l

and 117 micromol/l in exhaled breath, and in human fluid).

Too much and the damaging effects of oxidation will cause countless problems that can result

in cell death, among other issues.

Enter the enzyme catalase, which is found in almost all living things.

Catalase circulates throughout the cell, waiting to come into contact with the H2O2 being produced

by cellular respiration.

Once in contact, it rapidly converts it into water and oxygen (via two H2O2 molecules becoming

two H2O (water) molecules and one O2 (dioxygen) molecule).

In fact, the catalase is so good at its job, that it has one of the highest chemical conversion

rates of any enzyme.

A single catalase molecule can convert millions of hydrogen peroxide molecules every second.

(It is this water and oxygen being rapidly produced that results in the fizzing/bubbling

effect you see when the hydrogen peroxide comes in contact with the catalase.)

However, even with this efficiency, residual hydrogen peroxide will remain, allowing your

body to maintain the low concentration of hydrogen peroxide required for normal protein

signaling, while keeping it from reaching toxic levels that can destroy a cell.

Like all living things, bacteria, viruses, and many other pathogens have a myriad of

chemical reactions taking place within their cells.

Just as the oxidizing effects of hydrogen peroxide can ultimately potentially interrupt

these processes, it can also do the same to bacterial cells.

Thus, if this oxidizing agent is in high enough concentration, the result is a halt to normal

cellular processes resulting in the death of the pathogen.

So why the controversy today on whether you should use hydrogen peroxide on wounds?

As just mentioned, this oxidizing agent will also kill healthy human cells in sufficient

concentration.

Beyond this, it's also thought that it may slow down the mechanisms of healing because

it interferes with the normal scaffolding processes involved with repairing skin damage.

(This interruption can also potentially lead to increased scarring, see: How Scars Form.)

This is all not to mention that if the oxygen gas produced by the large amount of hydrogen

peroxide coming in contact with the catalase enters your blood stream, it can circulate

throughout your body leading to countless medical problems like heart attack, stroke,

or pulmonary embolus.

While you might think this couldn't possibly happen, hydrogen peroxide used as a topical

disinfectant has been implicated in several fatal and near fatal incidents due to this

oxygen gas being introduced into the bloodstream.

However, as yet it's not entirely clear how the oxygen is getting there.

It may be that excess oxygen enters the capillary beds themselves, or that H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide)

molecules get absorbed into the bloodstream and then, in such relatively high concentration,

create the oxygen embolus.

Whatever the mechanism, the potentially life threatening complication remains.

So in the end, thanks to the propensity of hydrogen peroxide to cause damage to healthy

tissue, combined with the very slight risk of oxygen emboli after pouring it on a cut,

the use of hydrogen peroxide to clean wounds is usually not recommended anymore, presumably

much to the relief of six year olds the world over.

As for what you should do when cleaning wounds, most doctors will point out simply using normal

saline, a little elbow grease, and some over the counter topical antibacterial products

will have a much greater chance of preventing infection then the hydrogen peroxide would

anyway.

(Airsoft) Unboxing the Double Barrel 1911 WE (floral pattern) - Duration: 13:26.

Thanks to them !

Hello YouTube and welcome to this new unboxing video !

Today I'm showing you a stupid gun

At least that's what a lot of people think about it

This is the Double Barrel 1911 from WE

It comes from Airsoft Entrepot, the shop where I work

As you can see here there is 3 colors : black, silver, and "floral pattern"

Price goes from 200 to 250 euros, depending of the model you want

It's quite expensive for a GBB, but sine this gun is mostly 2 GBB attached to each other, it's understandable

Let's open the box

Here is the gun, the "floral pattern" model which comes engraved

Here is the magazine, which like the gun is mostly made of 2 magazines attached to each other

The gun is on a plastic shell, and under it you have the booklet and an alen key

The booklet is a standard 1911 booklet

You also get a very simple exploded parts drawing of the gun

Here is the 1911 Double Barrel floral pattern from WE

It seems like a very strange idea, and yet it does exist in the firearm industry

A company called Arsenal Firearms does make a double 1911 (which doesn't look exactly like that though)

Cybergun even proposes an exact replica of the double 1911 from Arsenal Firearms

The WE model isn't licensed, it's just basically made of 2 standard 1911 WE

The idea of course is that almost everything comes in double

Double magazines with 2 loads of bbs, 2 hammers, 2 barrels, 2 hop up unit, etc

Each time you pull the trigger you shoot 2 bbs, each time the slide cycles you chamber 2 bbs, etc

It's really weird, yet it does exist

A lot of people have been really "angry" about those guns, calling them stupid and a total waste of time and money

Personally I didn't really care, even if I wasn't really enthusiasted by the idea either

But to be honest, the first time I had this in hands, I found it difficult to not find it really amusing

Frankly, I think that anyone who shoot a magazine with this gun will find it fun to use

Here is what it looks like from a closer point of view

2 triggers, 2 barrels, 2 hammers, 2 safety pedals, 1 mag release button, which unlocks both magazines

You have 2 triggers, but connected to each other, which means that when you pull one trigger, you actually pull both triggers

The 2 hammers are connected to each other as well

Yet, the safety pedals are independant, which is a bit annoying since you'll need to press both of them to shoot the gun, which can be difficult

You can still put a rubber band or something I guess, but, well...

Also, since it's a "double gun", you also have twice as much springs, therefore the trigger is a bit harder to press than usual

Same thing for the slide ; 2 recoils springs, you need twice as much strength to pull the slide

A little detail : I can see that the front sight on the model I have is very loose

Nothing some glue could correct I guess, but that's a bit sad

I have put a bit of gas in the magazine, let's see how it feels

This was the front sight

A lot of fun to me !

Little detail : it's not possible to "power stroke" the gun

When the magazines are empty, the slide locks to the rear

And if I remove the magazine and pull the slide...

... Ok now it works, that's weird, I'll try again

Huh, so maybe you can actually power stroke the gun after all

Ok well, it's not impossible to power stroke the gun, but obviously it doesn't work all the time either

Let's see how the trigger feels like

Then again you only need to touch one trigger to shoot

Which is a good thing, with my small hands it would have been really hard to press both triggers

You really do need to pull strongly, it feels really weird compared to other GBB

Reset...

Also note the safety, which is not ambidextrous, it's only on the left side

The "floral pattern" finish, which is... Interesting, I guess, you'll have to like this kind of look

Considering the "absurd" concept of this gun, I think tne engraving makes sense on this gun

Last year I was at the "Colombiana" Airsoft game from Airsoft Contact in France, a role play event in which I played a drug seller from a drug cartel

That's the kind of gun I could have used I guess

This is the magazine, which is made of 2 magazines obviously, note there is only 1 injection valve

The two magazines communicate only from this thin portion on the bottom

You have 2 percussion valves, 2 gaz routes and 2 loads of bbs

On WE 1911 magazine, you can lock this part to the bottom so you can easily load bbs inside

But it's difficult to do for the 2nd magazine since it's hard to access the loading part here

I'll try to use some tool

Here we go

Now I can load with bbs

I have put bbs, I let some room so I don't damage the nozzles and I unlock the part

A bit hard to do (NB : obviously you can use a bbs loader with GBB mag adapter though) ; it would have been better to make it symetrical

The idea is that the whole mechanism is symetrical and will do the same thing on both sides

To disassembly it, it's like a normal 1911 : pull out the magazine, pull the slide to the right position and pull out the slide stop lever

Note this red part which connect the recoil spring guides, in order to make the cycle smoother I guess

Note the 2 wheels for hop up adjustment

Both hop up are independant so you can, maybe, put different adjustments if you want to

Note that the slide stop only care about the left magazine, which means that the slide will lock when the left magazine is empty

Even if you have still bbs in the right magazine, the slide will lock to the rear nonetheless

Which also means, if you want, that you can put bbs only in the left magazine so you'll shoot only 1 bbs when you use the gun

It might be useful if for some reason, you're not allowed to use a gun which shoot several bbs at once

Note they made an effort regarding the sights ; you have only 1 sight on the middle (and not 1 sight on each slide)

That's pretty much it, I said everything I had to say about this gun

It's not really a big surprise in the end, it's exactly what it looks like : 2 1911 attached to each other

It cost between 200 and 250 euros depending of the model you want

If you want it just for the lulz it's probably a bit expensive, but if you're willing to pay this price, why not

Frankly I'm begining to wonder if I'm not going to buy one for myself

You put that in the hands of someone and you make him shoot a magazine, and he'll smile

It's so weird and unorthodox that it makes it really fun, at least to me

Also, the kick in particular is really nice, and shooting 2 bbs every time you pull the trigger is also quite cool

There will be two teams for this kind of guns : those who'll find it fun and those who'll really hate it

Thanks for watching ! See you next time for the shooting video !

They are really poisonous apple seeds look what will happen to the body if we eat them - Duration: 3:03.

Apples are one of the most consumed and cultivated fruits in

the world, today in todo en salud we are going to talk about the small black seeds that this fruit has in its interior.

Seeds in apples can be consumed by accident or by not bothering them,

some people have a belief that they are poisonous while others consider them to

be really healthy.

But what will be the reality?

The reality is that apple seeds when consumed and chewed release

a compound known as amygdalin, this substance is used by the seeds as a defense, which

when ingested become cyanide.

Which can be very dangerous to health in high doses.

Cyanide is a poison, it interrupts the flow of oxygen to the cells,

causing death in a few minutes.

Some symptoms that cyanide consumption in low amounts can trigger

are headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, weakness and confusion.

The amount of cyanide that is considered fatal is 1.6 mg per kilo of weight approximately,

this amount can produce coma, paralysis of the heart and lungs, and even

the same death.

In itself the amount of cyanide to cause effect in your body depends on your body weight,

the lower weight the less quantity of cyanide needed to be fatal in the body.

But an apple has enough cyanide to kill you.

The answer is no, for the seeds to be deadly you should consume between 40

and 80 seeds per kilo of your body weight, ie if you weigh 50 kilos you should consume

between 2000 and 4000 seeds.

Something too complicated considering that an apple the maximum that reaches to contain are

10 seeds.

In other words, you would need to consume about 200 apples.

As you see the seeds of apples if they can become dangerous, but when consumed

in excess, but for the simple fact you eat some seeds accidently there is no need to

be alarmed.

Now you know when and how these seeds can be toxic, so go for a few

apples and eat them with total tranquility but remember to consume them moderately.

We hope this video has been useful, remember that your opinion is very important

The Secret Meaning Behind Popular Logos We All Know - Duration: 5:26.

Whether you notice it or not, logos are absolutely everywhere.

From the time you're jolted awake by your alarm clock, to the moment you fall asleep,

you are bombarded with hundreds of logos every day.

"Contract or no, I will not bow to any sponsor."

Most of these branding images might go unnoticed during your daily grind, but you better believe

they've been designed to make an impression, and will come to you when you're in need of

whatever they're selling.

Those carefully crafted commercial images might not always be esteemed works of art,

but oftentimes, there's more to them than meets the eye.

Here are some brand logos you see all the time that have a deeper meaning that you probably

realized.

RCA

The famous logo of an adorable dog focused on a phonograph was taken from a painting

titled "His Master's Voice" by Francis Barraud.

The U.K. brand The Gramophone Company bought the rights to the painting in 1899, changed

their company name to HMV in honor of the painting, and was eventually bought out by

Victor Talking Machine, which became RCA.

Despite so many corporate ownership shifts, the dog stayed.

If you've ever complained about the oversaturation of advertising in the United States, you can

definitely blame it partly on this dog, who had his mug plastered from New York to Los

Angeles before Spuds MacKenzie was even a twinkle in his great-great-great-grandfather's

eye.

Toyota

While driving behind a Prius that's going 10 miles per hour under the speed limit on

a single-lane highway, were you ever stuck asking yourself what the heck is the Toyota

logo supposed to be?

What is it, a saintly almond wearing a halo?

Toyota is the world's largest auto manufacturer and has one of the most recognizable logos,

but the meaning behind the loops are a mystery to most people.

Toyota unveiled its current logo in 1990, and it's probably safe to say that they're

not going to retire it for awhile.

The three ellipses are supposed to symbolize "the unification of the hearts of customers

and the heart of Toyota products" and the background is for the brand's "technological

advancement and the boundless opportunities ahead."

So... definitely not a holy nut.

"Yeah, well, forgive and forget."

NBC

The famous peacock logo displayed by NBC was designed by John J. Graham in 1956 to showcase

the network's slate of colorful shows.

"The following program is brought to you in living color on NBC."

Basically, NBC was capitalizing on the trend of color TVs, which were slowly entering American

homes.

Other networks eventually followed suit with their own prismatic branding efforts.

NBC's peacock has had a few stylistic changes since the the 1950s and, even though we now

have ultra-HD TVs with more colors than we can fathom, the logo still represents color

on the network.

Tesla

If you want an electric car that doesn't look like something Mr. Bean would drive, chances

are, you might land on leasing a Tesla.

Since 2003, Elon Musk has changed how electric vehicles are viewed, but what people might

know is that the T symbol doesn't represent the brand's name.

Instead, Musk revealed that, "Similar to SpaceX, the T is like a cross-section of an electric

motor, just as the X is like a rocket trajectory."

Versace

To create the symbol that embellishes so many fine sunshades, Gianni Versace was heavily

influenced by ancient Greek culture and chose Medusa to represent his brand-to-be.

"What in the world is a Medusa?"

"A Medusa, dear heart, is a creature with snakes on her head."

Medusa might be an odd choice for a fashion house to bank on, since she was a mythological

villain who became so hideous that even a glance at her would turn a person to stone.

"AAAAAAAHH!"

But Versace went with the pre-cursed version of the character, who was quite gorgeous and

didn't yet have snakes for hair.

Still, the implication is that both Medusa and Versace would be pretty great at stopping

you in your tracks.

Roxy

Frequently worn by beach babes, surfer chicks, and 1990s dELiA*s catalog models, Roxy was

initially developed as a women's swimsuit line from the popular surf, skate, and snow

brand Quiksilver in 1990.

It wasn't until three years later, when Roxy started to get a cult following from trendy

laid back California girls, that their recognizable logo was born.

If you look very closely Roxy's heart-shaped crest, it is actually formed by two Quiksilver

logos tilted.

The Quiksilver logo represents the brand's surf and snow sports focus.

Despite starting life as a swimsuit line, Roxy has been producing clothing and accessories

for both the beach and the slopes for over 25 years, and their logo is tribute to the

brand's big bro.

Lacoste

The brand Lacoste has been cemented as the shirt worn with the collar up by every jerky

preppy dude in an '80s movie, but before the infamous crocodile was a status symbol, it

was simply a cute representation of a tennis player's nickname.

In the 1920s, René Lacoste was a tennis super star who ditched his bulky attire for a cotton,

short-sleeved shirt primarily worn by British polo players.

His nickname in America was The Alligator, but because even back in the 1920s nobody

knew the differences between alligators and crocodiles, when he returned to his native

France, they called him The Crocodile.

Embracing this badass new nickname, he started to wear blazers, shirts, and sweaters with

his own personal logo, on and off the tennis court.

When Lacoste retired in 1931, he began to mass market his shirts, but it wasn't until

the 1950s when the brand landed in the United States and developed a following with tennis

players, golfers, and teenagers whose parents could probably buy their way out of a DUI,

that it became such a style staple.
