Last week, Harvey Weinstein, a powerful man in a powerful job was accused by infinity

women of sexual everything blahhhhh.

You already know the infuriating story.

We watched some really courageous women step up and talk about men who abuse their power.

Men who feel entitled to rub their employees like a genie lamp.

And I'd like to add something else to the discussion.

Because it's not just the men in power that do this.

I'm a woman on a national television show.

I'm no Marilyn Denis, but it's still arguably a position of power.

I sat in a chair getting my hair done for a show and the man doing it reached down and

grabbed my breasts.

Now, I was wearing a padded bra so the joke's on him.

But I can style these myself, thanks.

Another time, we were taking pictures with audience members and a man grabbed my bum.

Not only did he assault me but he really ruined the photo.

The point is, in both these cases, I would have been considered the one in the

"power position."

But I felt stupid, humiliated, and, I didn't want them to suffer the shame of being called

out, so I let it go.

I let it go.

And women have been letting it go since the dawn of time.

Why do you think every woman in a medieval painting is rolling her eyes?

Many of you have let a hell of a lot worse go.

What I'm saying is that it's not just guys with big jobs and big egos, it's an

epidemic of certain men feeling like they have the right to put their hands on us, to

expose themselves to us, to help themselves to us and it has happened to every woman I

know.

And I bet if we broke out a few boxes of wine and started to bro-down with the women in

the audience, you'd have stories too.

It's the perverse culture of Hollywood that got us talking, but it's a perverse culture,

full stop.

So I have to do my part, I have to not "let it go" anymore, and I encourage you to do

the same, I know it's hard.

And so, to the men using the brain between their legs instead of the one in their head,

you must stop. and if you don't, we will stop you.

Because women show up for each other.

There's power in numbers and together we're ready to make some noise.

Shhhh please don't actually make noise.
