Youtube daily is it Aug 3 2018

Tattoos in the United States are huge and only getting more popular.

One in five people have a tattoo

and that is significantly higher for people who are under the age of 35.

So the question we have is, "Is it okay for a Christian to get a tattoo?"

If you asked me this 3,500 years ago, the answer is no.

In Leviticus 19, verse 28 God says very clearly:

So the answer, very clearly, is no.

However, God gives us laws for specific times, to specific people, in specific places.

For example, at the time of Moses, God gave them specific laws

to keep them separate from the other nations.

And this really served two purposes.

One, it was to point to the coming savior, who had come about 1,500 years later,

who ultimately would fulfill all laws on the cross.

And two, it was to keep them separate from the Pagan nations.

So, if the Pagan nations use cut stones in their altar, God says, "Do not do that."

If they cut their beards a certain way, God said, "Don't do that."

If they cut their bodies in worship, God says "Don't do that."

And in this case, use tattoos in worship, God says, "Don't do that."

It is too closely associated with Pagan worship.

However, it seems in our society of the United States, since Janis Joplin was tattooed by Lyle Tuttle,

this has kind of sprung into the mainstream since the 1960s.

And society's view of tattoos, I think, has changed with it.

No longer are tattoos directly associated with bad decisions and uncleanliness and motorcycle gangs.

Instead, it's moved into an art form, from tattooers.

Now they're called tattoo artists.

So, although the Bible doesn't specifically say yes or no on tattoos,

We can get some guiding principles.

The Bible does tell us that God cares about our body,

not just our mind and our soul.

And he says your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit

so you should take care of it.

Is putting needles into your body with ink is the best thing for your body?

You have to ask yourself that question.

Secondly, God says just because something is permissible doesn't

necessarily mean that this is wise.

I think you have to ask yourself, "Where exactly am I going to put this tattoo?

What part of my body am I trying to get people to focus on?"

I'm not going to show pictures, but I think you can figure out there certain tattoos that highlight sexuality.

What message are you trying to promote with your tattoo?

For many people, it's belonging to a group.

For some people, it's signifying a certain event.

And for some people it's simply art.

But the question is , "Am I giving a clear witness to my savior; am I giving a clear witness to my God?"

Because ultimately, that's the group we belong to.

A savior who died on the cross and rose again, as it says in Isaiah,

and put our names on the palm of his hands.

I really enjoyed this week as we talked about, "Is it ok for a Christian . . ."

Are there other questions that you have?

Just put them down below and we'd love to see if we can put more videos out to answer those for you.

Manuel Neuer shares his thoughts on Mesut Ozil's retirement and it's caused a stir - Duration: 3:24.

In July, German midfielder Mesut Ozil announced his retirement from international football

Citing 'racism and disrespect', the 29-year-old Arsenal star explained his decision with a lengthy statement on Twitter

"I am German when we win, an immigrant when we lose", wrote Ozil after Germany's disappointing World Cup

Ozil's retirement has caused something of a storm in Germany.Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness accused the Arsenal midfielder of having been "cr** for years" following his retirement

Most of Ozil's international teammates have defended him when pressed on the matter

Germany captain Manuel Neuer has finally given his opinion on Ozil's retirement - and his comments have upset lots of fans

The 32-year-old Bayern Munich goalkeeper played with Ozil when they were youngsters at Schalke - and they would later win the World Cup together in 2014

"It's the decision of every individual player," said Neuer, as per Goal."You have to find the reasons for yourself, and he [Özil] found them

We accept this decision, of course."We have always tried to integrate every player and have always done everything for our teammates, so that everyone goes into the games with a good feeling

"It's the job of those responsible at the DFB to structure the team and give it a new face

Understandably, Neuer's comments upset plenty of fans on Twitter - and you would imagine that Ozil wouldn't appreciate them either

"I think things will change in the national team and also in the DFB," Neuer added

"Some things must be changed. We have big goals also in the national team and naturally want to put forward a new face

" Ozil's only 29 but, sadly, it looks increasingly unlikely that he'll be making a return to the German national team

He's expected to start when Arsenal host Manchester City in their opening Premier League fixture next weekend

Ozil's new manager in north London was pleased that he returned for pre-season early following Germany's World Cup disappointment

"All of us want to help Mesut feel like it is his home here with us, like a family and it is a family for every player," said Unai Emery

"He feels here with us that he can work every day, and it is good for us that he decided to come here and work with us before our two matches

What Is True Tone Display On iPhone? Should I Turn It On? Here's The Truth! - Duration: 2:18.

Hi guys, David and David here from payetteforward.com, and in this video we're going to explain what

True Tone Display is on your iPhone and we'll show you how to turn it off or on.

True Tone Display automatically balances the color temperature or how warm it is how cool

it is on your iPhone with the surrounding environment.

So for instance right now, we're in a studio that is filled with cold light, bright white

light.

So we actually have to turn off True Tone when we make our videos because if we didn't

all the colors on the iPhone will be too warm.

So we're going to show you the difference between that right

now. And a lot of times people will say now my screen is more yellow because they're outside and

there's the sun.

Don't be surprised if your screen looks more yellow when True Tone Display is turned on.

First, let's show you how to do it in the Settings app. Open the Settings app scroll

down to display and brightness and then turn on the switch next to True Tone.

So watch it.

Yep.

Exactly.

Watch my screen.

You probably will see a difference when I turn it on.

I can see the difference for sure.

Definitely we were wondering what was wrong with the videos making them and it was the

True Tone Display.

Yeah, but turn that back off. We'll also show you how to do it in Control Center.

I'm gonna go back to my Home screen here by swiping up iPhone open Control Center by swiping

down to the upper right-hand corner of the screen if you have an earlier iPhone, swipe

up from the bottom of the screen. And True Tone Display only works with the iPhone 8,

iPhone 8 Plus, and the X. Yeah the X. Press and hold the brightness

slider and then you'll see a little True Tone button here tap it to turn it on or off now

it's on. One more example of the difference

you'll see. My iPhone looks pretty normal right now true tone is off.

I swipe down press and hold to the brightness slider tap tap out of it.

Now it's warmer.

If you can't tell the difference,

this isn't going to be part of the video.

That is what True Tone Display is how to turn it off how to turn it on.

Thank you guys for watching this video. Give it a thumbs up if

you found it helpful.

If "Nanette" is a comedy, what else is? | We The Internet TV - Duration: 1:59.

Critics are raving about Netflix's new comedy special, "Nanette," from Hannah Gadsby.

With so many saying that "Nanette" has completely redefined the art form,

we're looking at other Netflix programming and asking the question,

"Is this comedy?"

"Mindhunter" is a show about a lone FBI agent obsessed with studying serial killers.

He interviews mentally ill people who describe their crimes in drawn-out, horrific detail.

So, obviously it's a comedy.

Did this start out as a live show at the UCB?

"The Staircase" is a docuseries about a bisexual husband who is convicted of killing his wife.

It's a classic whodunnit.

Did he kill her? Was he a victim of the court system?

Is it a comedy?

Well, there are more funny moments in this chilling portrait of judicial malfeasance than in "Nanette,"

so yeah, definitely a comedy.

I checked out Tim Dillon's 15-minute stand-up specail.

Lots of funny jokes, I was laughing hard the entire time.

So, definitely not comedy.

Comedies aren't supposed to have that many jokes.

Here are some of the other comedies you should be adding to your Netflix queue.

The Accused. Shoah.

Philadelphia. Irreversible.

12 Years A Slave. Angela's Ashes.

Sophie's Choice. Boy's Don't Cry.

Hotel Rwanda. Brokeback Mountain.

And the complete works of Lars von Trier.

I can't wait to see what comes out next year.

There is so much serious, deeply moving, laughter-free comedy to look forward to.

Hey Netflix, my grandmother suffered the last 10 years of her life with dementia.

I'm giving the eulogy at her funeral this weekend.

I don't know if you're still accepting pitches, but could that be a Netflix comedy special?

(laughter)

So what do you think? What makes something a comedy?

Let us know in the comments.

And a high five to all the commenters out there who are going to say,

"Well, you're definitely not comedy!"

Beat you to it, a-holes.

Part 1: What is alcohol and how does it make us drunk? - Duration: 1:12.

All of the different kinds of alcohol we drink

are ethanol based.

Ethanol, also known as ethyl alcohol,

is a clear, volatile liquid

that has a pungent, bitter taste.

Ethanol is produced by the yeasts that ferment the sugars in fruits and grains.

Tiny yeast organisms eat those sugars,

and the ethanol is the waste they leave behind as they break it all down.

The ethanol molecule is small, and highly water soluble

and because it's so small, when we drink it,

it's very easily absorbed in our gut

and distributed in the blood to virtually all the organs and tissues of our body

including the brain.

Ethanol doesn't easily dissolve well into oils and fats,

although fats and oils can dissolve into it.

And as well as being intoxicating, ethanol is also a nutrient...

But the bad news is that it's most readily converted to fat.

And like most nutrients it's most easily absorbed into our system

by the small intestine.

Which means that what you have in your stomach can make a very big difference

to how you night could go if you're planning to drink.

Ṭarīqatunā ṣ-ṣuḥbah wa l-khayru fi l-jam'iyyah.

"I'lamū annamā l-ḥayātu d-dunyā

laʿibun wa lahwun wa zīnatun" (57:20)

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla is saying in Qur'ān

the life of this world is entertainment,

for people in order to

show off to each other.

Everyone has it. But important is

to think about ākhirah. A person who

thinks about ākhirah and acts upon it will have benefit.

Because this world

becomes a partner

to everyone who comes here.

It remains here, doesn't go to ākhirah.

Whatever you do in dunyā you get benefit.

If you do goodness, you'll get its benefit.

If you obey and follow

your ego, you'll be in loss.

Days are passing.

Days are passing one after another. Days are passing,

weeks are passing, months are passing.

Thus people's lives are passing.

People don't realize it.

The older they get,

they think they will come back.

They finish primary school,

then middle school, high school.

Some go to university. Who don't go

see it's over. They look and see

they got older. They marry and have children.

They look and see their children reach same age.

And they go on the same way.

These passing days

don't come back.

Time doesn't return.

We should be careful about it. People should

wake up not to lose these things.

We should try to become beloved people

of Allāh ﷻ by doing Allāh's ﷻ beloved things.

Don't be lazy and delay something

for later. Allāh ﷻ doesn't like it.

This time and life

are the most precious things

Allāh ﷻ gave us.

If a person puts something

above his life, when death comes,

then he realizes how precious his life was.

But while in dunyā, he doesn't know it.

He doesn't try to use it for benefit.

Allāh ﷻ gave us all beauties.

And He ﷻ told us to use them.

"Kulū ḥalālan ṭayyiban

wa tamatta'ū".

And make shukr to Allāh ﷻ for them.

Worship to Allāh ﷻ.

Don't forget Allāh ﷻ. When you do this,

you'll be in peace

in dunyā and your ākhirah will prosper.

You'll be happier.

People have forgotten this.

They are just running after dunyā.

They are looking for something here and there.

Whereas what they are looking for...

As Allāh ﷻ has put something

in a man that he is in search,

when he contemplates and believe in Allāh ﷻ,

then he finds peace.

But when he jumps from place to place

thinking if this is it, his life passes by.

And his ākhirah gets worse.

May Allāh ﷻ protect. May Allāh ﷻ

give us good life so that

we spend it in worship to Him ﷻ.

May we be on the right way, the way of our Prophet ﷺ,

the beloved way of Allāh ﷻ in shā'a Llāh.

Our life it is very interesting because

day going after days month

weeks months years going very quickly

and people they thought it is they are still same

everything chaning if you when you are

small boy after you finish your

school finish your university and beginning

and you say oh I finish from this

but in your heart you said maybe

it will be come back

because they not understanding

this finish the time what you finish from

time cannot be come back again

it is very precious thing you must be

careful what you are doing what

with who you are with who following

many people the most of people

they are running from place to place

to enjoy themself some of them

they are searching for something for reality

but searching in wrong way

Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla give us everything

He ﷻ said you can be enjoy yourself

with what is

there is permission to do it is more enough for

human being to be happy here and hereafter

but shayṭān making to not be satisficed with this

they are looking for more and more

and every time they are looking doing bad thing

it is they become more thirsty to

take more to eat more to do this bad thing more

maybe they will be satisfied but no, it is like

fire every time you petrol in it it's becoming

bigger and bigger.

and your life going without any meaning

and you going with bad life

no happiness nothing at all

this is for this dunyā for ākhirah it is worse

because Allāh ﷻ give you this life

the most precious thing your life

many time we see they say your life or your money they

even this people they give their money to

not be killed or so life it's very precious

and it is like sand coming from

in your hand quickly

going from your hand so you must be careful

you must be accepting reality

not to look for people who are

following their ego

and when their somebody following ego

they are taking you to good place

taking you to bad end

and bad life also

miserable life so in shā'a Llāh so we are hoping

everybody from even some of them

seventy year old also they remember

their childhood and remember quickly this years

when you say seventy

eight ninety like this

quickly going your mind to that year

what it was how you was and how was

it is not so far so we must be

careful and ask for Allāh 'Azza wa Jalla to keep us in

way of Prophet ﷺ way of happiness in shā'a Llāh

Wa min Allāhi t-tawfīq, al-Fātiḥah.

Art Envy: Is It Ok? How Do I Deal With It? - Duration: 9:31.

One thing... I wish someone would have told me when I was younger

was that my feelings of anger and jealousy were valid!

It's ok to feel angry and jealous when you see another artist's work.

Feeling that way doesn't make you a bad person.

It's what you do with those emotions that defines who you are.

So, take for example if you decide to hate on others when you're feeling down—

that makes you bitter and, in a way, validates your fears.

But what if instead you used those negative emotions as fuel?

So you end up saying to yourself "You know what?

Whatever! I can be just as good as this artist..." and then you sit there

and try twice as hard.

Those same feelings that you originally thought made you a bad person

now make you driven and competitive.

Big difference right?

Now of course this is easier said than done.

You may ask yourself, "How can I work harder

when I just want to give up after seeing this person's art?"

I get that. I really do.

Which is why I want you to look at this guy's art.

He is my all-time favorite artist,

and whenever I see this dude's art, I'm just like—

How the fuck did he do this?

Like... I can't even wrap my mind around how he's implementing these techniques—

how he even got that shape—

how he's even... thinking of these character designs—

I'm like... Where does this guy get this amount of skill!?

Like, where does it come from? How did he get to this point? Can I get to that point?

Like my mind is racing.

So... my first piece of advice is to take

any nagging thoughts or ideas that you can't possibly draw as well

as the person you're jealous of,

and wipe it from your mind completely,

because that is 100% wrong—

and I'm gonna' tell you why!

That is because the artists that you personally look up to... exist!

They show that with enough practice,

it's possible to achieve that level of skill.

It may take you as long or even longer than them to achieve that skill,

But nonetheless, it's possible.

I know this sounds very obvious, and it is,

but it still needs to be said.

Everyone feels jealousy!

We're not here to discuss if we should even be feeling it

or how to stop feeling it forever—that's impossible.

Sure, to what degree people are jealous varies,

but I'm here to give you some tips on what to do to overcome those feelings

So that you can be the best artist you can be!

Okay! So now let's jump right into it.

One thing you can do to alleviate some of your jealousy

is to draw art for others. It can be a commission or free what matters is that

drawing for others feels good,

and when the person receiving your art reacts to it,

you may start to see that art is really more about the people it touches

than how... technically skilled it is.

Think about how it feels when someone makes something for you

and this can be a drawing or anything.

Someone out there was thinking about you for however long it took them to make your gift.

They thought about how happy this gift would make you,

and they thought you deserved that happiness!

That feeling is something you as an artist can give to others.

I find that charity can easily combat jealousy.

So, the recordings you're actually watching right now are drawings of original characters

that belong to my mutuals!

And I chose these characters because...

Because they belong to my friends!

Buuut what if your friends don't have any ocs—

or aren't the type to make ocs? Then you could do an art challenge!

There's an art challenge called #DrawThisInYourStyle

and if you haven't heard of this challenge, it's where you essentially redraw someone's character

or art piece in your own style.

This is great because not only do you get to practice,

you also get to give to someone else.

Try this challenge out, or if you want to make it even more personal

pick someone you know who has a birthday coming up

or someone you want to surprise for whatever reason

and then draw them something!

Don't be alone when you're feeling angry and jealous.

Involve someone in your work. It makes you accountable. It makes you feel like you

need to draw something, because now, someone other than yourself

will be affected by your art.

Look... I know that you may be angry right now or even hate your own work,

and it's super hard to want to share something you hate,

but trust me when I say you'll realize how worth it the struggle is when you see

how happy your art, in its CURRENT state, makes other people.

Another thing you can do is draw what you love.

What better way to see the merit in your own skill than to draw what you already know?

Are you good at drawing eyes, animals, plants?

Then draw those things! It took you countless hours to learn and now you're damn good at it!

Show off and indulge. The more you shine, the less you'll find yourself in the shadow of others.

If you're feeling a bit more eager to prove yourself, then I recommend

trying a new avenue of art. And what I mean by this is try something new!

So for example, if you've never sold at an anime or a game convention,

that might be worth a try!

A lot of bigger conventions have auctions where anyone can submit art,

so you don't necessarily have to buy an artist alley table to sell at a con.

And through conventions, you can meet other artists in person and

begin to form a network. I cannot reiterate enough how important human

connection is to fighting off negative feelings.

Or if you aren't into conventions, maybe explore different styles.

If all your drawings are realistic, maybe it's time to indulge in something that's super stylized—

or vice versa.

For me personally, there's this pixel artists I follow,

and every time I see their art, I'm just like...

Well, shit. I wish I knew how to do pixel art. Maybe I'll give it a try,

and then I spent the next hour just looking at pixel art—

not even drawing. Sometimes you just gottta' get your mind off that jealousy.

When you see and appreciate different kinds of art

you start to realize how varied all these skills people are—how even though

they're good of one thing, they lack in something else.

Everyone still has room to improve, even the artists you look up to.

Okay... so now I want to address those moments where you may feel so down

and broken about your own work, after seeing someone else's,

that you don't even want to draw.

I recommend taking a break.

I know that sounds generic as hell or maybe even scary,

but let me tell you it works.

I used to go through highs and lows when it came to art.

Actually I still do, but the difference now is that I know when to take a break.

And during those breaks, whether it's a day or week or even months, I always get

to a point where I feel like something in my life is missing.

I don't know what, but something's missing...

And I watch movies and I play games, especially the ones that inspire me,

and suddenly I say to myself, "That's what I want!

That's what I wanna' create, and that's what I wanna' do!"

That moment is what I personally believe defines someone as an artist.

It's not the act of drawing every day or mastering anatomy or anything like that

that makes you an artist.

It's that realization that you need art in your life.

Now, let me tell you something interesting about that feeling.

That emptiness that you feel after removing art from your life,

after you stop drawing will be a bigger obstacle than any art-related challenge you will ever face.

No piece of anatomy, jealousy or anything will be harder to overcome than that feeling

and so you're put in a situation where you feel like you have to keep drawing,

because it's such an integral part of who you are as a person.

DON'T lose that part of yourself because of someone else's achievements.

Don't be discouraged. Believe it or not someone out there wishes they were as good as you,

and at one point you've probably made someone jealous too.

It happens to the best of us, and it's nothing to be ashamed of!

You have goals, and you see other people achieving those goals

Of course you want the same thing. You're driven and you want to achieve something!

Same goes for the person you're jealous of and the person they're jealous of.

That desire is never a bad thing, let it carry you towards your goal!

So, that is my advice on what to do when you're jealous of other people's art.

I hope this video was insightful to some degree.

This was my first attempt at making a youtube video, and all I knew was I wanted to go over this topic.

I'll be making more videos on just art in general,

hopefully funner topics than this, so if you're interested in sticking around,

please consider subscribing or following me on Twitter, links provided below and all that.

Thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys later!

Southern Charm's Kathryn Dennis Slams Ashley Jacobs' Claims That the Show Caused Her Weight Loss - N - Duration: 4:46.

Kathryn Dennis' claws are coming out!  The Southern Charm star slammed her costar Ashley Jacobs on Twitter after the latter explained during last week's reunion episode that she had lost vast amounts of weight due to the pressures of filming

"Yes, the pressure of filming made me nervous," Jacobs told the show's host Andy Cohen

"It would be hard for me to eat before because I would be so nervous about what to expect

"  She continued, "And then afterward, I had such a hard time even eating, going, 'I shouldn't have said that

I shouldn't have said this.' And it caused a lot of stress. I put a lot of pressure on myself

"  Dennis, who has had a tense relationship with Jacobs on the Bravo reality show, called her out on Twitter Thursday

"Girl this is your first year and you're an a——," she tweeted. "Sorry to be blunt but there's no excuse

The original cast has been through a helluva lot more."  "Get yourself together and move on," Dennis added

"Be an a—— in private. Truth hurts. Bye."  Jacobs' weight has been under scrutiny for months

In June, the reality star shared photos of herself lounging on a pool float while wearing a bikini and explained to fans she was battling "severe anxiety

"  The two Bravo stars, who have both had a relationship with Thomas Ravenel,  clashed on season 5 of the show with Jacobs often criticizing Dennis' parenting

Jacobs referred to the mother of two as an "egg donor," saying her kids "weren't planned on," insulting her parenting style, suggesting Dennis was on drugs, and claiming she sees her children with Ravenel more than Dennis does

Jacobs told PEOPLE in late July she was not trying to replace Dennis in her children's lives

"Kathryn is very protective of her children, and I'm not trying to fill any role other than being fun, loving, cool, and silly," Jacobs explained

"I'm like a babysitter. I walk in the house and they're like, 'Throw me on the bed, throw me on the couch, bring me around, let's draw, let's go on the swings, put on a movie' — that's my relationship

"  Jacobs said she would like to be cordial with Dennis and work toward forgiveness and moving forward

"I mean I said things to her that obviously she's very hurt by, understandably, right

So I don't think I'm her favorite person," Jacobs admitted. "I have to try to put herself in my position

If she was doing that to me, if it were reverse, would I want to sit down with her? Would I want to make time for her? Is it too soon?"  "Personally, I don't like to have enemies

I need closure. I want things to be on good terms. Even if we are not best friends, I want there to be an opening for something," Jacobs continued

""It would make life easier, not to be full of anger and hate and frustration. It's uncomfortable for me, it's uncomfortable for her, it's uncomfortable for Thomas, and it's uncomfortable for the children, and that's the priority

I want to get on that path — to be cordial, to see her out and be able to say hi and have a friendly conversation

Is the Embryo a Human Being? - Duration: 4:36.

"Is the embryo a human being?

Or is it something more primitive that has the potential to become a human being sometime

in the future?"

This has to be the single most important question that demands an answer in the abortion debate.

Even Supreme Court Justice Harry Blackmun, who wrote the 1973 Roe vs. Wade decision legalizing

abortion in the United States acknowledged this when he said:

"If this suggestion of personhood is established, the appellant's case, of course, collapses,

for the fetus' right to life would then be guaranteed specifically by the amendment."

Meaning, the fourteenth amendment.

Unfortunately, Blackmun famously sidestepped the entire issue when he said:

"We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins.

When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology are

unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man's

knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer."

In other words, "Important people don't seem to agree, and we're just judges.

So, we don't really need to answer the question about whether the unborn are full human beings

with moral worth, deserving of legal protection.

We'll just make abortion legal, and if anybody ever finds out in the future that there really

is a human being in there, well, then… they'll have to overturn our flawed decision."

Not only was this an appallingly dangerous legal precedent, it completely ignored compelling

philosophical and biological evidence that human life does indeed begin at sperm-egg

fusion, otherwise known as "conception" or "fertilization."

Let's break this down.

There's an important principle in logic that helps to objectively establish what is

real and what is not real.

It's about 2,400 years old, and is sometimes called the Principle of Objective Evidence,

or the "Principle of Publicly Verifiable Evidence."

It holds that if a theory, or an explanation, or a definition is to be considered valid,

it ought to have evidence that other people of reasonable intelligence can verify."

Sounds rational, right?

I mean, if I were to arbitrarily assert something without giving any publicly verifiable evidence,

you would be logically free to arbitrarily deny it.

If I said, "It's a baby," and you asked, "How do you know?"

and I said, "I just feel it deep in my heart,"

well, the depths of my heart are not really publicly verifiable,

and even if they were, my personal feelings are subjective – and have nothing to do

with the reality of what's being observed.

But there is objective, publicly verifiable evidence that we can make use of

in the abortion debate.

You may have heard of the famous French geneticist by the name of Dr. Jerome LeJeune, who discovered

that an extra copy of chromosome 21 was responsible for the condition known as Down syndrome.

In the 1990s, Dr. LeJeune provided objective evidence that the full, human genetic code

is present in the human embryo from the moment of sperm-egg fusion.

And not just "a" human genetic code – but a distinct, individual, unique, unrepeatable

human genetic code.

It is biologically and genetically completely distinct from its mother and its father.

As Dr. Lejeune wrote: "to accept the fact that, after fertilization has taken place,

a new human has come into being is no longer a matter of taste or of opinion.

The human nature of the human being from conception to old age is not a metaphysical contention.

It is plain experimental evidence."

What's more, the human embryo at the moment of sperm-egg fusion contains all of the information

necessary to direct its own development in the way that human beings develop.

This would be impossible if that embryo was not a complete, organized whole human being.

All of the best scientific and medical research confirms that the appellant's case has,

indeed, collapsed, and exposes Roe vs. Wade to be one of the greatest travesties in modern

legal history.

Law of Attraction and FOCUS the Secret to MASSIVE Success (Meditation for Focus inside) - Duration: 23:52.

this video I'm gonna be sharing with you the truth on focus with the law of

attraction I'm going to show you one of the main ingredients to that of success

how to optimize it and how when you apply this it changes everything

welcome back to another video my name's Aaron and I help uncle expand their

consciousness now in this video I'm gonna be sharing more with you on that

of focus and the law of attraction one of the main ingredients

I believe in success is that of focus and this doesn't necessarily mean that

we have to constantly control our mind and create all of this resistance but

what it does mean is when we have our thoughts going in a certain direction

and because whatever we think about we expand we then experience more and more

characteristics of whatever we are thinking about now if you look to any

successful person that you can find if you look at their life story if you look

at what they did you'll see that almost every single one of them without fail is

somebody that had to focus a lot that gain this ability to focus on what they

were doing because the more they did that the more that became something that

they attracted more and more opportunities in their life they figured

things out more and more that became more of a perfectionist with whatever

they're focusing on and I'm a true believer that the more you focus on what

you love to be doing the more that ends up growing in your life now we've heard

the same before from Steve Jobs from Warren Buffett to do what you love and

the reason this is so important is because how easy is it for you to focus

on what you love to do you know when I get up every morning and I make a video

like I'm doing right now it's very easy for me to focus on and I probably spend

about 8 to 12 hours a day working on what I do because I love what I do and

because I love what I do it's so easy for me to focus on it that it continues

to grow in a very quick way if you look at people that are very good at what

they do a lot of times they spend a lot of time doing

because they're so passionate about it and here's the beautiful thing it

doesn't feel like work when I get up and I make your video right now I am working

when I do a live Q&A on Instagram I'm working but is it really work it's more

so I am doing an aspect of my business and it just so happens that I would

probably do it anyways this is why they say things like do what you love do

something you would do even if you weren't paid to do it and you may say

well I'm not sure what that is right now that's okay let it be okay that if

that's how it is and then start to set the intention that you figure out what

that is because with the intention and the focus on the intention of figure in

doubt you will bring more and more into your life of that now something else I

want to share with you is something that changed my life and it was me becoming

aware of my beliefs with that of focus you see I used to believe that I had

ADHD because I went to a doctor until the doctor's having problems focusing

and the doctor said oh did a little tests like some tests and some said you

have ADHD that's why you can't focus and I said oh good now I know why and they

said here's some adderall adderall's the prescription drug they give the people

with labeled as a DD or ADHD and I took that I'd go to work I worked at

Nordstrom's at the time I go to work I would take the adderall and I would

focus I was you know real focused on what I was doing

make good amount of money because I was so focused and I felt good while I was

doing it however the side effects of adderall are you don't eat very much I

made pretty much lesser I have to tie go but I was trying to gain weight at the

time Plus you don't sleep very well at night I'd have problems sleeping I would

go to I'd go home I take it early in the morning I take it like 10 and 11:00 in

the morning when I go into work like you know earlier and then what happened is I

wouldn't take it again but all the way until about 9:00 10:00 at night I try to

go to bed and it was almost impossible and those were the harsh side effects so

that was actually what led me to doing a little bit more research I said okay I

have this so-called ADHD what are their alternatives for attention naturally

without the side effects you can't eat very much you can't sleep

very much and that's when I came across that of meditation and guess what no

side effects of negative meditation no negative side effects at least I was

like hmm this looks like something I should try

because I'm tired of these harsh side effects and you crash also you take this

adderall and you crash someone's like taking 4 shots of espresso and by the

way I would take 4 shots of espresso when I had this so-called ADHD and what

would happen is I'd get really focused I felt very calm whereas most people

take four shots of espresso and be wired I was very calm when I would take it so

it kind of shows you the kind of effects that I had but nonetheless what I would

do is I'd learn meditation then when I decided that I decided that I was going

to start meditating and I made this choice that I did it for the first day

for about 5 or 10 minutes about 5 minutes and I didn't really feel that

much of a difference the second day I started actually feeling a little bit of

resistance with it because it was shortly after I also knew more about the

law of attraction and I was feeling resistance I was I don't think negative

thoughts though leave their thoughts and I kept doing that and they kept leading

to more and more of it and more resistance but then the third day

something very interesting happened I had this feeling to sit down with this

candle flame and I read somewhere that when the eyes stay on one point that we

end up happiness so that our mind doesn't wander so much so when your eyes

wander your mind wanders so if I'm constantly like thinking and going like

this my eyes are going to different vortexes going do do do do what that

does is that makes it so that it's new stimulation every time I move my eyes

which then brings in more information think of everything as we see as

information and I'm stimulating my brain in different ways over and over and over

again so I read something I said if you stare at a candle flame with your eyes

on one spot that that helps a lot so that's what I did but here is the game

changer I did that and about 2 or 3 minutes in I decided to let go of the

thoughts instead of trying to control them because when I was trying to

control the day for don't take negative thoughts control them in this direction

I was creating resistance so instead what I did is I focused on that flame

and I allowed the thoughts to be there I allowed the thoughts to be there I

observed them as they came through and as they came through I would look at

them and then let them go look at them and let them go and that's

when my whole life began to change I began to feel so differently

I began to feel so much more present to the moment I began to become aware of

the beliefs I had about myself I began to observe my thought processes and

realize that almost everything I was thinking was on autopilot I started to

wake up from a dream of the autopilot mind of social conditioning and I became

aware that I simply had a belief that said I can't focus because I have ADHD

I had this label that got kind of tapered with me that I believed

therefore that was the effect that I got so what I then became aware of is that I

can just let go of it I can let go of the definition that it's hard for me to

focus I can let go of any negative belief that is holding me back and what

that did is that changed my whole life because the thing is is whatever we

believe to be true is reflected back to us if we believe there's a problem with

us if we believe that it's hard to focus if we believe we're just the kind of

person that's lazy or doesn't get things done then that will be the case that

will be a self-fulfilling prophecy but the best part of this whole process is

that we can shift that and that's why I made this video I want you to know that

you are not bound by labels you are not bound by definitions you are not bound

by what people think of you you are who you choose to be in the present moment

and if you think about yourself in a way that is not optimal for your focus start

to think about yourself in a new way what is your self-image because my

self-image was that I was somebody that couldn't focus my self-image was that I

was somebody that had to take because of the belief system I had you had to take

what the doctor gave you and then he had to do that and then there's all bunch of

side effects but hey that's part of you having ADHD but it's nothing more than a

label here's the cool thing I started to meditate I got into that present state

to where I was observing my thoughts to an old candle method to this day or to

show you right now I have a candle on my nightstand that's where I meditate and

it's right eye level I still do the same meditation that was in 2012 it's been a

long time and I do every single day 20 minutes in the

morning and 20 minutes at night but here's the cool thing I started doing

that within a week or two completely got rid of adderall have never taken it

again I do not identify myself as someone with

ADHD I think that I have a lot of energy that's how I reframed it then what I do

is I once a day go to a park and I grind myself in grass park right next to my

house just walk barefoot on grass and it kind of releases excess energy

that's the refrain that I created now here's the thing you can do the same

thing maybe you're like why don't think I've ADHD but maybe you have maybe you

think you have problems focusing but if you think you have a problem focusing

then that just may be the problem in itself is that there's this

self-fulfilling prophecy there's this this implication hey I can't focus

therefore we experience more and more of that feeling more and more of that

experience so what I want to ask you is how do you view yourself do you view

yourself as somebody that is able to focus and if you don't is there may be

some type of definition belief or prior experience that formed it that way

because if for me it was I was told that I was told that from either that of the

doctor some people I remember there was this old co-worker I used to work with

as a manager that I heard talking about me to someone else and she said that

Aaron appeared to be on cocaine and when she said that I was like I've never done

coke in my life and when I when she said that I was like you know it just it was

a big thing I was like whoa what why you know I could whatever manager we talk

about me like that but I realized that it's because I have a lot of energy and

what I did is I didn't internalize what other people thought about me and what I

decided to do is to focus it in the direction of what I prefer have my own

beliefs about the process and as I did that everything began to change and

here's the cool thing people also feel that off of me now I show up much more

present than I used to therefore people feel that off of me

because our self-image is something that's projected out to other people

that people then are bouncing back off of that are then feeling so I was

probably projecting out somebody that just had so much energy and a lot of

people just couldn't relate to it a lot of people couldn't relate to some

that's always I have a lot of energy and I always have a lot of energy so

sometimes people are like oh you know they they don't have much energy so they

look at me and they're like what that's weird you know what I mean there's a

problem there but there's no problem at all it's all in the mind and if you

believe you don't have a lot of energy if you believe that it's hard to focus

be aware of the definitions you have because that may be controlling the kind

of experiences you have and remember with focus in general it's not about

controlling the thoughts it's about observing the thoughts and

directing it in a powerful way it's about direction direction and the

ability to observe because in the observation is where the power is the

power is not in the reactant mind because if we're in the reactive mind

were than the ego and we're trying to control everything from the egos point

of view but if we observe we take ourselves out of the ego and we allow

ourselves to let things be easy we allow things to happen naturally so that's

what I wanted to share with you is that your focus is probably the number one

ingredient when it comes to the law of attraction really working for you so are

you doing something you're passionate about and if you're not that's fine set

the intention to figure that out but understand that it's up to you to define

yourself in to see yourself as someone that's able to focus this is all about

conditioning if it's hard for you to focus there may be some variables in

play one of them may be your phone maybe your phone everyone's always checking

Instagram every five seconds and I'm honestly sometimes I get into the mode -

or I'm checking stuff because I do social media for a living so I post some

stuff on Instagram posts and stuff on YouTube I've checked and stuff I'm

trying to engage as well engage them it's important for me because I want

people to feel like you know I'm they're not this someone posting stuff online so

I'd kind of have to be engaged and I kind of have to be checking it every

every now and then but there's definitely that overload to where I just

keep doing it keep doing it keep doing it here's the thing that I recommend to

you take it as a thing where you regiment yourself to always focusing for

a certain part of your day I recommend 20 minutes in the morning right when you

wake up in 20 mins before you go to bed focus on observing your thoughts so that

right in the morning when your brain wave when your brain is the most

susceptible the most influenceable so what you do is you become aware that

how you can do that how you can observe it rather than react it's the first

thing you do when you wake up in the mornings going to your phone you

immediately go into reaction mode you're reacting to your environment what could

happen check the email check that of Instagram check about Facebook and we

immediately get into that mode so what I would encourage you to do is to know

that focus is conditioned that's all it is this is conditioned it's a habit that

we can create it's our willpower that we can create

that it's much easier than we think it's just about practicing it practice

practice practice doesn't have to be hard just practice for compliments today

when I started meditating I did it for two to five minutes the first day that

was my goal just for a few minutes then after that I upped it a minute each day

and then eventually got up to ten minutes a day and then it became easier

then I got the 15 minutes a day then became easy and I've kept it right about

15 20 minutes because I feel like I can get deep in

that amount of time now but you got to go with what feels right for you but you

see you can tailor this is a muscle this is a muscle but as you begin to build it

gets easier and easier so at first don't beat yourself up if it's a little bit

hard but the more you do it the easier it becomes but focus is where the power

is and when you combine your focus with what you're passionate about everything

in your life will begin to change so what I like to do right now is a quick

little meditation it's not going to be as long as normal this is I like to do

some type of meditation every video that I do so what we're gonna do is we're

gonna relax our body and I'm just gonna have you look at your self image and to

let go of anything that doesn't serve you around understanding focus how you

view yourself is your ability to focus and as we do this this is something it's

just gonna allow you to know that focus is easier than you priorly thought let's

take a deep breath in deep breath out right now

breathe it out feel your body relax more and more now

put your hands over your heart because the electromagnetic energy around your

heart is thousands of times more powerful than that of the head and when

you do this you immediately begin to expand the energy around your body now

let's take another deep breath in deep breath out and if you like you can close

your eyes breathe it out feel your body relax more and more now put the

sensation once again in your heart and imagine that there's a ball of energy in

your heart any colour that you like and imagine that this ball of energy in your

heart space feels like a tingling sensation but you can feel it inside of

your heart - now imagine it's spinning clockwise and imagine that the faster it

spins the more you feel this love in your heart the faster it spins the more

you feel present to the moment and imagine that it's spinning faster and

faster and you can really feel this tingling sensation in your heart now you

can really feel this now I'm going to count down from five to one with every

number I count you're gonna feel more present to the moment you're gonna feel

more love in your heart five feel this energy spin in your heart

four feel it spin faster and faster three feeling it double in love double

relaxation with every number I count two feeling it's been now and one feel it as

it floods through your body allowing you to feel more and more

now I want you to imagine that you are looking into a mirror this mirror has

gold embroidery --nz on it going all the way around and what you are doing is

you're looking at your self-image of how you view yourself around focus notice

what you see how do you currently view yourself around focus and if you're

judging yourself it's okay allow those thoughts to be there how do

you view yourself with focus is it easy for you more challenging

can you remember things

what are three words that would describe your focus and your ability to focus

now that you are aware of whatever those words are allow those words to be there

allow those feelings to be there and I'll make the choice to let them go

realize they serve you up until this time but now you are who you choose to

be now look into the mirror and imagine the best version of yourself doing what

you'd be doing able to focus effortlessly just easy you allow things

to happen it's easy for you to focus because you're passionate about what you

do what would you be doing and how do you look as this version of you

now what are three words that would describe this part of yourself the

self-image determined focused laser-like vision come up with three words that

describe this version of you

now what we are gonna do is I'm gonna count down from ten to one with every

number I count you're gonna feel like you merge with this version of you like

focus is easy like it comes naturally like you don't have to control your

thoughts anymore you can just observe them and you can direct them the way you

prefer remember you are who you choose to be not the result of your past now

other people label us now put your hands up your left hand put it up to that of

the mirror and begin to move towards the mirror with every number I count your

hands going to get closer and closer to the mirror and by the time I reach one

you're gonna feel a search through your body you're gonna feel yourself connect

with this version of you in a very powerful way 10 feel yourself now

becoming more alert 9 fill your hand move closer towards the mirror 8 with

every number I count they're doubling the amount of ability you have to focus

7 feel yourself now starting to feel the energy of this version of you 6 5 4

double the amount of relaxation to your body double the amount of focus 3 2 1

now feel this connection you have go through your left arm and into your body

this ability that you have to focus and how you feel like you have an increased

ability to focus on what you want notice how different this feels notice how now

you can observe your thoughts from a neutral place

notice how empowered you feel

now this is who you are you put your hand down now and know that from this

point going forward you are who you choose to be focus is easy for you

you're gonna notice that you are not your thoughts you may think thoughts but

they are not who you are you are now able to observe your thoughts easier

than ever set the intention that sometime today you get a reflection that

focus is easier than ever for you and that you experience more of what you

want now I'm going to count down from five to one with every number I count

you're gonna feel more alert more present to the moment knowing that today

is an amazing day now you're gonna feel focused laser-like vision easily five

feel yourself become more alert in present four feel this energy start to

search through your body 3 start to wiggle your hands and your toes to 1 you

can open up your eyes now and know that you have shifted and connected to a

self-image that is much more conducive of who you prefer to be focus is as easy

as viewing yourself as somebody that's able to focus and when you get to that

core everything in your life will begin to change now something else I'm gonna

New Viral Challenge Is The WORST One Yet - Duration: 2:49.

Another day, another dangerous internet challenge.

The hot water challenge is the latest that's taking social media by storm, and it is quite

possibly the stupidest challenge yet.

Welcome back to IO, I'm charlotte dobre.

Huge news outlets are reporting on the hot water challenge.

Its actually been around since last august after several 10 and 11 year old kids were

put in the hospital after trying it.

There are a bunch of different variations.

Basically, it's a prank where you boil a pot of hot water, and then sneak up on your

friend, throw it on them and film the whole thing.

This variation usually results in burns, hospitalization and skin peeling.

According to reports, teens who have participated in this version of the challenge have spent

weeks in the hospital with seond and third degree burns.

Which if you didn't know are extremely painful, and can end up blistering.

Earlier this summer, 15 year old Kyland Clark was sent ot the hospital after one of his

friends drenched him in boiling hot water while he was sleeping.

According to clark, the skin on his chest and face completely fell off.

Call me crazy kyland but, I don't think whoever poured that boiling water on you is

your friend.

The second variation involves people drinking boiling water out of a straw.

The least of your worries is burning your tongue, but an 8 year old girl who was convinced

to drink boiling hot water by her cousin died.

Participants post videos of the hot water challenge to youtube, instagram and twitter

using the appropriate hashtage, which is raising concern.

To be honest, this video will probably get demonitized, but I think its important to

let you guys know of the dangers of the hot water challenge.

I know I don't have to worry about fans of IO participating in the hot water challenge,

because you guys are smart.

You would never think it's a good idea to throw boiling hot water on people you love

and post videos on it online.

Friends don't let friends try the hot water challenge.

It can result in permanent disfigurement, and even death.

If there is any chance that your skin or mouth comes in contact with hot water, heres what

to do.

Hold the affected area under cool running water, or put a cold wet compress on it.

Don't use super cold water or ice, that can actually make the damage worse.

Once the burn has cooled off, put moisturizer on it, aloe works really well.

Cover the burn with gauze and then take an advil if the pain is really bad.

Alright guys that is all I have for you on that, lets lighten the mood with some comments.

Just Some Random Person – Hey charlotte it was my birthday on Monday can I get a booyah.

Booyah you can.

Happy belated.

Cristhian Montoya – That background though . glad you like it, shout out to tessa our

editor for the cool animated backgrounds.

Andresss Chavez – Whats ligma.

Hector Moralez – Does anyone care about the potato revolution.

I care, I care very much.

That's all folks, thanks for watching.

If you enjoyed this video show us some love by smashing the thumbs up and subscribing

to IO.

If you wanna keep watching, make sure you check out this video, or that playlist.

And for those of you who have instagram, follow me and IO, our links are posted in the description.

That's it for me and I'll see you in the next IO video.

The James Webb Space Telescope Is Delayed (Again)! What Is Happening? - Duration: 3:38.

The James Webb Space Telescope being developed by NASA is set to be one the most exciting

space observatories ever developed!, with totally novel technologies and instruments

that will give us new insights into our universe.

But unfortunately, its completion and launch has been delayed.

Again.

What's goin' on?

The initial completion window for the James Webb Space Telescope, or JWST, was supposed

to be between 2007 and 2011.

There were some pretty severe budget and schedule issues, resulting in a 2011 overhaul of the

project that set a new completion date for October of 2018.

That turned out to be a little too optimistic, so they pushed it back to May of 2020, and

now here we are with another new hopeful finish line of March, 2021.

This telescope is the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope, so this is the kind of telescope

we send out into space.

All by itself!

This is where some of the complexities start.

Once launched, the JWST will be out of reach of the NASA team completely, unreachable even

by robotic missions.

This makes it significantly more complicated than the Hubble which we can service.

After JWST heads out into the great unknown, that's it, so we've kinda gotta get all

its features right before we say goodbye.

And this is kinda hard, because James Webb is most complicated space observatory we've

ever built.

It's huge, it has be super sensitive, and most of its diagnostics are brand new.

For example, its sunshield, which keeps the telescope at the ideal temperature (below

50 Kelvin) is the size of a tennis court and consists of five individual layers.

It was actually a small tear in this key piece that was part of the most recent delay.

And then there's the telescope's primary mirror, called the Optical Telescope Element,

or OTE.

This gathers the light coming into the telescope from space so the other scientific instruments

on board can measure it.

The OTE is exciting--and difficult--because a mirror that detects these kinds of signals

needs to be large, but a mirror this large has never been launched into space before.

In fact, it's almost 7 times larger than Hubble's mirror, but NASA has engineered

it to still be lighter than the Hubble mirror per unit area, so that's a big innovation.

AND it's super strong.

AND..it folds!

This gold-plated mirror actually folds up so it can fit into the launch rocket, and

then it will unfurl once in space.

It also just looks REALLY cool too, like a giant, shiny golden honeycomb.

To round it all off, most of the scientific instruments on board are totally new.

Some will observe light on the visible and infrared spectra, trying to capture objects

and events that are too distant or too old to be observed by other instruments.

One of the machines needs a cryocooler to keep it at a frosty 7 Kelvin so it works properly.

And keep in mind, we have to make sure all of these new and exciting scientific tools

will function and transmit data properly for 5-10 years after JWST launches, because once

it's out there...we can never touch it again.

But if we can accomplish all of this, we hope it will offer us back here on earth never-before-seen

resolution of space and will help us see traces of some of the most distant events and objects

in our universe--like the very creation of galaxies, stars, and planets.

It'll basically be like looking back in time.

Its launch could mark a new era in astrophysics.

That is, when it ever gets off the ground.

Hey, maybe the JWST is delayed NOW, but if you're watching from the future we hope you're

still subscribed to Seeker to be keeping up with all the things we're learning from

it.

Like this video over here about about how NASA uses origami for it's engineering.

Also FYI, the JWST isn't just a NASA job--the Canadian and European Space agencies are also

in on the project, because let's be real, space brings us all together.

Thanks for watching Seeker, I'm Maren.
