and I'm here today with Resa,
we've come back from having a super fun day,
And, I think it's time to put Miss Resa to the test.
- [Resa] What test?
- It's called the Blind Smell Test.
(Resa laughs)
So what we're going to do here today,
is see how well you know your products,
based on their smell.
How do you feel about that?
- Well we're always developing new products in house
so we have so many different collections,
we're always constantly developing,
so I hope I don't get a scent
that's going to be presented to me confused
with something that's coming out.
- Alright, well
- So we'll see.
- Only the nose will tell.
- Yes.
- So we are going to blindfold Miss Resa,
and then (laughs) we'll put her nose to the test.
I have six items that she will be smell testing,
and mixed into all six of these,
maybe some of her products will be there,
and she can recognize them, but for the most part,
we've got our own concoctions in here
that might trip her up,
So, uh, how do you feel about that Resa?
- Come on, let's go, let's see.
- All right, she's ready, I'm ready,
so we'll start with option one.
Do you think that's one of your products, or...
- No?
- I mean, wait, let me smell.
Are you sure?
- Oh my God, don't do that.
(Gerilyn laughs)
- This is your, this is your world,
(Resa gasps)
do you know what I'm saying,
you have to tell me whether or not this is
your product or not. Let me smell it again,
let me see. - Okay.
No.
- All right, I mean, I guess we'll give you the win,
it's not your product, so, whatevs, Okay.
Here's the second one, here you go,
go ahead and give it a big whiff there.
(laughs)
- No, this isn't one of ours.
- Oh my God, she's really good you guys, like.
Two out of six so far, good job, you know,
gotta give
it to you. - This is nerve wracking.
(laughs)
You, you're kinda killing it, so.
- You said there's only six, right?
- There's only six,
- Okay, that's right,
now let's go for it. - And you have to identify
Your products so... mmm
This is most definitely one of ours.
Yeah, it's most definitely one of ours.
- Okay, so, I'll give you extra points
if you can tell me which product it actually is,
the specific item from the collection.
- I got it in my nose (laughs)
(Gerilyn laughs)
Its most definitely not our shampoo,
most definitely our hair milk.
- Yeah, she got it right, so,
she's really good at this game you guys.
- All right.
- Okay, here you are, kay, now tell me,
what do you think, what are you smelling.
Is it one of yours?
- This isn't one of ours, what is this, potatoes?
- Well I don't know what this is,
but it's definitely not a part of your line.
You're right.
- Lets go to the next one.
- Are you sure?
Are you feeling confident about this?
- Let's see.
- Okay, here's
the next one. - I may need some coffee
beans after the potato whiff.
- Here you go.
- Oh my God, What is that?
What is this?
- That's not a part of your collection?
- No.
- It's not like a custard, or....
- What is this?
- A conditioner...
- That's not a part, no, I hope that's no one's collection.
(sniffs)
- Whoo!
- You like that, what is it.
- I didn't say I liked it.
- Oh.
- See she's tryin' to put people on the spot.
I'm sorry, it's something we made to throw you off,
but apparently it didn't work.
It doesn't smell that great.
Resa, we are nearing the end.
- Oh my God, let's get this over with.
- You are guessing everything
correctly, so lets see it.

- Okay let's go.
- Here's the last one, here you go,
tell me what you think.
- This has to be our shampoo, this is our shampoo.
- Is it though?
- It is, 100% sure.
- Okay, I think that you can see through the blindfold.
(Resa laughs)
- No!
- I'm not, I'm not convinced.
- I know the scent of the shampoo.
- Just give me the jar back, cause you done won,
so, it's, whatever. - Yay!
I just, I really think. - I was sniffing.
that you can, no.
She can see, through - I cannot see.
The blindfold, she knows,
and yes, that was the shampoo.
Man you killed it so.
- That had to be the shampoo.
- That's amazing.
I thought we were gonna trip you up, I really did.
- At Luster, we're always working on new collections,
new products, so my nose is in a lot of different things.
- Okay.
- So my team kind of gave me a heads up that this is going
to be a segment that we are gonna capture today.
So I had three sets of products that I've been
walking around with for this past week.
One is in my office, one is at home,
and one is at one of my friend's houses,
and I've just been sniffing my tail off,
- Okay
- Literally.
- You came prepared.
- Yeah, but when we came up with this collection,
I did know that women, some women don't want to
smell like coconut
all the time. - Okay.
- So we made sure we put a fun fragrancy,
fruity spin on your traditional coconut,
so you won't smell like 100% coconut
when you leave out of the house.
It's actually a very pleasant smell.
- Yes, I'm definitely looking forward
to getting this in perfume form.
(Resa laughs)
because it smells good.
