yet the way in which epilepsy talked about is still very much left in

the dark to truly understand your epilepsy it's good to ask questions

especially when you feel unsure worried or scared

seizures are one of the most uncertain things about epilepsy they're caused by

bursts of electrical signals around the brain usually these signals go about

their day without any hassle or problem but sometimes they can jumble messages

being sent causing seizures although we're experiencing similar things we're

all different than how our brains work and react which means our seizures can

be different you may not be aware of what's happening things go blank you may

fall over jerk flow up or twitch there may be

funny noises or your eyes may flutter or you may day dream there are sometimes

strange little warnings before a seizure but usually more commonly it just

happens for two thirds of children there is no known cause for the Epilepsy but

you're not alone sometimes scary it's important for your doctors your nurses

and your parents to know in what ways it can be treated for most children their

epilepsy is controlled using medicine and because our brains and bodies are

different it may take some time to find the best medicine to help you to take a

peek at what our brains are doing doctors can use different machines an

MRI is noisy and dark and an EEG is uncomfortable and messy but both can

help to figure out the puzzle of you even if they aren't the best fun with

these fancy machines doctors and nurses can try and find out what your brain is

up to without this it's hard to know what's happening after these tests the

doctors and nurses can identify what medications are needed when you should

take them and for long these medications can sometimes

make you tired or maybe a little sad or angry these side-effects aren't great

but talking to your doctor nurses or parents about it helps and they can try

and find the best medication for you but it might not be the first one you choose

it can be annoying having to take this medicine which comes in so many

different versions it's hard to keep track

liquids tablets chewable crushable and sprinkles all of them taste and look

different you may find you only like one type select your doctor and nurse know

which ones work best for you it's really important to take your medicine as

they're there to help keep your seizures away having epilepsy can be confusing

and scary but always remember you are not alone talking about why and how it

happens can help you and others you are not alone

yes I'm making my way through these aisles of clothes straight to the decor

section because today looks like an awesome day for some good deals

there are so many kitchen gadgets and cookware to sort through but I think I

see a stack of jewels. Keep watching to find out how many jewels I take to my

if you are looking for inexpensive frames for art or photos the goodwill

may have just what you need

most of the time the goodwill in my town has an assorted selection of various

pillows, curtains and linens

when I buy pillows from the goodwill I always like to choose pillows that have

a zipper so you can easily remove the covers and wash both the cover and the

inserts properly

today my Goodwill's lighting section is well-stocked. it's definitely a

playground for DIY projects

now it's time for me to show you the thrifty bargains that I scored

I got these pillows for $2.99 each

this beautifully crocheted throw was also $2.99 and this gorgeous blinged out

merit round tray was only $3.99 I got this double ring hand towel holder

for $1.99 and this handy shelf with hooks for $3.99 that I planned to refresh

with some paint and a little TLC. Each of these chunky wooden candle holders were

$1.99

and last but certainly not least I scored these simple but elegant beaded

edge dusty blue dinner plates, salad plates and bowls for only $2.49 for the

complete set. All in all I got some terrific bargains

Rainbow's Vlog Thing: A Little Bit About Me - Duration: 3:52.

Hello, I'm Rainbow.

You probably already knew that.

So if you watch my channel you'll know about the Tube Walks, that's probably how you came

to discover this channel because that's the only thing on here at the moment, so I want

to expand that a little bit and tell you a little bit more about me, the person behind

the Tube Walks, I want to create more, different videos, not just focusing on walking between

railway stations, because there's more to life and there's more to me.

So what can I tell you about myself?

Well, I'm transgender, specifically non-binary, even more specifically a demigirl, which means

sometimes or most of the time mostly female but not quite completely female, maybe I'll

do a full video about that at some point, erm..

There's a squirrel!

Easily distracted, of course.

What else?

I'm 31, I currently spend most of my time either here in Southend, or Basildon or London,

kind of flit between the two, I work in London and obviously walk around it a lot, as you

know.

What else can I say, what else can I say...

Stuff I'm interested in?

So one interest of mine is theme parks.

There's a theme park.

That's Adventure Island in Southend, I worked there for nine years, and I don't any more.

But yeah, I like theme parks, I like rides, I like the Disney parks, that ties in with

another sort of major interest in Disney.

Obviously I like the films.

Moana is fantastic, a very good film, probably my favourite at the moment.

From the animated films at least.

Obviously the live actions ones have all started coming out now and they're all very good.

I saw Christopher Robin just the other week and that's another fantastic film.

So yeah, I like my Disney, and I like my theme parks.

So I've mentioned films, what else?

Favourite TV show.

Steven Universe.

Can't beat it.

Favourite character...

Stevonnie, Smoky Quartz, Amethyst, I like a lot.

I like Peridot as well, I like all of them, the whole Steven Universe character collection

is all excellent.

I can tell you that's a class 357 but I don't write the numbers down, I'm not that bad.

So I've got these piercings, my snake bite, I've had that since about April this year,

they're the only piercings I've got.

I've got two tattoos, over this side, let's have a quick look, there's my Tinker Bell,

just there.

And over on this side I've got my transgender symbol with the genderqueer flag in the middle

there.

I want more tattoos, it's just having the time and money to get that sorted out.

But I will get more.

One day, I will.

So yeah, a little bit more about me.

Anyone But Me: "10 Years, 10 Questions" Episode 1 - Duration: 9:27.

When I saw the first edited episode of Anyone But Me, I'll be honest I think I...

the first watch of it I was like...

how do I look, how do I look, am I acting

okay like and I hate to say that but I think a lot of actors have

that same feeling upon first viewing it's so hard to be objective because

you're just so concerned about like what your performance was and if you were

doing it right and if you looked stupid or pretty or

whatever it is um but it's so funny because I remember like I remember

really loving the cinematography. I remember loving the colors that I saw

which was a fun and unexpected experience for me. And I also remember

being like it is so exciting to see a young lesbian couple on screen like that

was my biggest feeling about it. And having been a queer teenager and

not having seen that not having seen other queer teenagers on camera that was

really exciting for me.

I think I learned I was going to be a part of Anyone But Me through an email,

which I believed at the time we were not receiving on our phones. I received on a

laptop, at my apartment. And it was the total beginning of my career I basically

I graduated a semester early from college and I got Anyone But Me in the

last semester that I like still should have been at NYU.

I think the episode that showed Aunt Jodie's complexity,

has to be the coming out scene. So it sort of

starts with her doing her usual like "oh hey I'm cool and anything you want to

tell me it's fine", and then it gets real you know. It gets really real and she

wants she wants to be okay it's just she suddenly feels a little bit betrayed

that she didn't already know she then wonders what is her

responsibility like Aster's been spending the night and what does that mean.

And then Vivian says you know most kids are sexually active at my age and you

know like there's just like a ton of information coming at her really quickly.

So I think for me that scenes on my reel because I'm really proud

of that scene. And I feel like Tina is the kind of director that like when I

think about Tina directing I almost don't, I can't even picture her because

she's so in obtrusive and you know and she would give us adjustments you know

let's let's try a little more of this a little less of that but I really felt

like I was in the room with Vivian and we were really having that moment that

you know for Aunt Jodie like you could kind of plot like that's that was the

tension for my character

throughout the first part of the series.

Is that an actual letter like the kind you get in the mail? Vivian: Sort of.

I'm so impressed do you need a stamp I don't even know if I have any stamps...

Vivian: That's okay. Aunt Jodie: I miss mail I would love to get a real

letter again. Vivian: Well actually this is sort of for you.

anything that's one of the perks of not being your mother I don't have to take

The thing is we're not friends. Aunt Jodie: Did you have a fight? I can't believe two people

I think my first scene was, I think it was outside on the stoop when Vivian...

I think it was one of the, exception of Battery Park which is sort of its own

thing. I think it's actually the first scene of the of the series which was

weird was my first actual shot scene and it was outside on the stoop of Tina's

apartment with Dan who played my dad and and obviously Nicole,

who played Aster. And it was it was it felt good like it felt like I had a

dad and like a a girlfriend and like I was leaving so it actually felt terrible

but it felt good.

How was my first day on set? Do I have any memories of my first scene? I do

remember so my first day was exciting and nerve-wracking just I was very

excited to be with my friends to finally be bringing this character Elisabeth to

life. I was definitely very nervous because again my training wise I wasn't

used to film that much and I wasn't sure how I was gonna translate. And I

knew I was working with just amazing professional people so it was a little

bit of both. I do remember my first scene which was

with Archibald and Vivian so Josh and Rachael. And I think it was he was

escorting her to the classroom and we bumped into each other and it was just

kind of like an awkward flirtation moment between Josh and I and the first

time I was meeting Vivian as the new girl in school so just a little moment

and it was a lot of fun and sort of easy to do it was always easy to be a little

giggly with Josh because I always thought he was really cute and just so

sweet and so a lot of those moments are kind of real.

Well, look here we are. Last stop Moby Dick.

Oh god I hope not and I read a lot of books twice but that's not

going to be one of them. Elisabeth: Hey Archibald.
