Encoge el alma.Rachel Bland lleva trabajando en la BBC desde hace 15 años y además es muy conocida gracias a su podcast You Me y Big C en el que habla del tratamiento contra el cáncer que recibe.

La presentadora, de 40 años, fue diagnosticada con cáncer de mama en noviembre de 2016 y menos de dos años después,

la enfermedad, según le dijeron sus médicos, no tiene cura.

«En palabras del legendario Frank Sinatra, me temo que el momento ha llegado, amigos.

Y repentinamente», tuiteó Bland este lunes.

«Me dijeron que solo tengo días de vida. 3 de de septiembre de 2018.

Muchas gracias por todo el apoyo que he recibido». Es muy surrealista.

El pasado mes, Bland comentó a The Telegraph que el cáncer se había diseminado a múltiples ganglios linfáticos de la parte superior de su cuerpo,

a la piel y al hígado.

Según explicó la locutora, que tiene un hijo de dos años con su esposo Steve, estaba en una carrera contra el tiempo.

Solo temo por los que dejo atrás. No tengo miedo a morir...

Por mi querido Freddie, por Steve y nuestras familias.

Incluso ahora, sabiendo que viene la conversación de 'no hay opciones disponibles',

no puedo desmoronarme y caer en pedazos.

Bullet Journal Setup - September Plan With Me - Origami - Duration: 10:08.

[Music] Hello everyone, it's Andrea and welcome to

the September Plan With Me.

All supplies I use will be listed in the description box below.

I can't believe the summer is over.

This year has gone by so quickly!

The theme for September is Origami!

I've been wanting to do this theme for a while now.

I've also decided to go back to the one color for this month.

This light blue color will be the main theme color throughout the month.

I colored in all the letters for my title.

I let the first layer dry a little before adding the shadow layers.

I added them to the "folded" parts of the letters.

I went over it one more time to give an extra small line to the "darkest" part of the shadow.

I also went in and added shadow parts to the origami crane itself.

It looked pretty good for only being one color.

I wrote September at the top of the Calendar page.

There were two types of fonts I used for this origami theme.

A skinnier paper strip type font and this larger folded paper type font.

I do like the larger one better and would have preferred to only use this one but I

could only fit so many letters across the page.

So I had to switch back and forth between the two.

I also added some hanging cranes coming down from the title and added a to do section on

the right side.

Then I divided my calendar up.

Each day is six squares wide and seven squares tall.

I also added a one square line border at the top that will have the days of the week in

it.

Then I added small lines for shadows to my origami before coloring in the top black border.

I colored in all the lettering and the shadows on the origami.

I gave this lettering the same type of shadows as the other font.

I highlighted the numbers from the days of the week to add a little pop of color to each

box then gave the whole thing a drop shadow.

Then I used my white gelly roll pen to write the days of the week along the top black border.

For my Trackers I went back to the same two pages as usual.

I started with my mood tracker and decided to draw 30 little airplanes all over the page.

This was the easiest and fasted origami to draw over and over again.

And the lines in the airplanes also allows me to color them in with more than one mood

color.

The origami I still make to this day is the boat.

Or "hat" as some people call it.

And you know who you are out there!

I wrote all my moods at the bottom then I numbered all the planes for each day of the

month.

This is what August's mood tracker looks like all filled in.

This one was definitely super cool!

I colored in my lettering and went over it a few times to give it it's shadows.

Then I color coded all the moods at the bottom.

I'm still really enjoying the mini calendars for the Habit Tracker so I went ahead a drew

out nine mini calendars for all of my habits.

I outlined all the habit title boxes and colored them in with the black felt.

Then I wrote habits down the side and weather at the bottom.

I drew little origami boats to help separate the two sections.

I was happy with my choice last month to put the weather section back with the trackers.

Each box - or day - is two squares wide and three and half squares tall.

The half will be the space where the day of the week goes and the bottom one square is

for the days highs and lows.

Using the blue theme color I colored in all the titles and gave the boats their shadow

lines.

Then I added a drop shadow.

Using my white gelly roll pen I wrote my habits in their boxes.

One of the boxes was too short so I just added another small line of black to make it a little

longer.

On the weather tracker I continued the white lines up and wrote the first letter of everyday

of the week as well as the number for every day.

This turned out better than I thought it would.

Then I wrote all the days inside all the mini calendars.

As I do my habits I will give each one a blue dot on the number.

I am actually really enjoying the Doodle-A-Day page.

As before, each box is four squares by four squares and the top square has a one square

border for the days of the week.

Here is what August's Doodle-A-Day page looks like all filled in.

I opted for mostly black and white, but may color it in later on.

I used the black felt to color in the top border, keeping with the black and white theme

from the last page.

I colored in my title and gave all the boxes a drop shadow.

Then I wrote the days of the week in the white pen at the top and numbered all the boxes.

The Polaroid Memories page I used the larger paper font and wrote memories small at the

top in the little empty space.

Then I colored in my title and the shadows.

This page will hold four small sized Polaroids.

For the Brain Dump page I used the smaller font again so I could fit the whole title

across one page then added a few of the origami elements.

Then I colored in my title and added my shadows.

Since now I have an extra page I decided to make a Project Ideas page.

Not only for upcoming project ideas I've got brainstorming, but hopefully to finish any

projects that I've been wanting to do for a while now.

I haven't made a DIY tutorial in sooo long I decided that needs to change!

I also added a few more origami elements to this page.

I especially love the little whale at the bottom.

(add heart?)

This Exercise Tracker has been working so well for me.

I'm so glad that I've re-vamped it to incorporate more times that I workout.

And it looks more organized.

I wrote exercise and description on the left side and added my three boxes with six squares

in each one that will have the weight, reps and sets.

So I can write down each exercise six times in the month.

Last month I found that six was plenty!

Then I added my blue themed lines to separate each row.

I also color coded the days of the week at the top.

I repeated this for the next three pages.

For the weekly spread I wrote September down the left side and because the letters are

so big I just put the numbers to the right of it at the bottom.

Each day of the week is separated with a flying paper airplane and the travel lines around

it.

I really thought this idea was cute.

I added the number of the day of the week inside the circle of the flight path.

My water and sleep tracker are connected at the bottom.

Each of the "fold" lines in the paper will be the amount of water I drink that day.

Then I outlined the rest of the days of week on the other page with more paper airplanes

and more travel lines.

At the top right I added my meal tracker, which looks like an accordion folded piece

of paper with directions on the side.

I outlined the side bar on the left of the meal tracker and used up the empty space at

the bottom for a to do list.

Then I wrote SS Meals on the boat.

Ha!

Funny!

Cuz it's a boat.

Then I colored in all the words.

I even added color to all the dashed lines for a little extra bit of color.

Lastly I filled in the days of the week with my white pen for the meal tracker.

questions that confuse me the most stay

questions and comments on my eye pattern

videos I wanted to provide you with a

bit of an update on how I've been

spending my work time of late

obviously you clients come first though

virtual color analysis calm and Carol

Brailey.com services clients come first

and then I've been concentrating on

rolling out content for my new DIY color

analysis workshop page I'll include a

link to that page below if you haven't

checked it out yet please do so this is

where I'm going to guide you on your own

DIY color analysis and if you are

somebody who has been sending me

pictures to hopefully get included in my

videos this page may be for you there is

a launch VIP tier so check that out I

completely love that all of you or many

of you who watch this channel have been

looking at your eye patterns and

thinking about your best colors many of

you have been sending me I pattern

photos or asking to send me photos

outside my virtual color analysis comm

services but unfortunately we are no

longer accepting unsolicited photos so

please don't send

anymore I'm sorry my time is dedicated

to my clients and people on the DIY

color analysis workshop page with that

said I still definitely will be

producing YouTube content and I will be

producing it once or twice a week at

this point so stay tuned for that and

subscribe to the channel so you keep

updated so now let's move on to my

responses to some of your comments or

questions on my eye pattern videos there

is a theme of comments around people

commenting with their eye color included

and really many of the seasonal color

palettes have brown eyes blue eyes green

eyes what-have-you in them and your

interpretation of a brown eye may be

different than what I think is a brown

eye so rely on the pattern in your eye

really it's all about patterns there are

Springs with brown eyes there are

summers with brown eyes or people with

summer in them with brown eyes winter

has brown eyes autumn has brown eyes so

really you know it's about the pattern

in your eye the second theme of comments

that I've seen out there is around

looking at your skintone versus your

skin undertone so your skin undertone

just to recap is the underlying quality

to your coloring so on the cool side

you'd be more in the blue purple range

if you're on the warm side you'd be more

in the yellow golden range and if you're

in the neutral undertone category you'd

be in the reddish sort of range so

underlying quality to color and so many

comments I've seen are about your I've

pale skin I have olive skin and really

what you think is all of maybe different

from what I think is olive and so really

I recommend focusing on the underlying

quality to your coloring the fact that

you have pale skin for instance may just

mean that you haven't been out in the

Sun and frankly I've seen people in ever

every color palette option who are on

the pale side so pale skin doesn't rule

you in or out of a particular color

palette I also have seen people

commenting about their veins still and I

am NOT a fan of the vein test because I

think it's confusing I have seen also so

many warm people warm undertone people

that is who have blue veins around their

wrists so I find it unreliable and

confusing so you know if you still want

to rely on the vein test my

recommendation would be to validate what

you think your veins say through some

other color analysis test like Stewart

draping yourself with fabrics etc my

next comment is to those who have

reviewed my skin undertone video in

terms of looking at your eye pattern and

determine they fall within the neutral

category I recommend you also move on to

decide whether you are neutral cool

neutral warm or full neutral I'll put a

link to a video I've done on your screen

that further elaborates on these three

neutral categories because if you think

you are full neutral I just want to put

out there that being full neutral that

means an exact 50:50 mix of cool and

warm is quite uncommon or rare and my

last response to your comments on the

eye pattern videos is to those of you

who believe you have a halo in your eye

pattern just be a bit of cautious around

this as I stated in the video

particularly the undertone video in

relation to eye patterns because halo

can be easily easily confused and some

of the combinations that you've been

listing in the comments with halo in

them actually aren't possible and so

just be careful on identifying the halo

in your eye I'll provide further

guidance on a halo in my upcoming DIY

color analysis workshop page now moving

on to a couple types of comments that I

receive that absolutely confuse me and I

don't mean offense giving giving this

information out I just want to help you

arrive at your best colors and I feel

like the first particular comment when

you give it you aren't allowing you to

arrive at your best colors and allowing

me to assist you at arriving at your

best colors so the first theme of

comment is around providing word

descriptions and asking me to provide

guidance on your best colors so things

like you know my skin is a little bit

yellowish and my hair is a mousey Brown

and I have blue eyes you know I can't

tell you what your best colors are

through word descriptions and I would

shy away from anyone frankly who would

give you guidance on your best colors or

word descriptions because what you think

might be yellowish skin or gold and

qualities to your skin may be very

different from what I think is golden

what you think is mousy brown hair may

be very different than what I think is

mousy brown hair so I never give

feedback on people's best colors through

word descriptions if you are looking for

my feedback unfortunately or fortunately

you can get that feedback through any of

my services through virtual color

analysis comb and my second theme of

comment that I received that absolutely

confuses me and it even happens with my

in-person color analysis clients when I

ask them why they're coming for a color

analysis is people saying comments

around color analysis isn't that what

somebody did in the eighties isn't that

what my mother did in the eighties that

sort of thing

I believe wearing your best colors

should never go out of style it confuses

me why color analysis lost momentum

your best hair makeup clothing accessory

colors really should never go out of

style you adding a sparkle to your look

should never go out of style and I

receive this sort of comment even when

people ask me what I do for a living I

usually respond with I'm an image

consultant and I'm most known for my

color analysis expertise and the most

common response again I receive our

color analysis isn't that what people

did in the 80s so let's make this

something that people just do it's not a

particular time other than once in your

lifetime find out what your best colors

are

and I've been trying to find you and get hold of you,

and your sister gave me your number.

I'm Jessie Casson,

a photographer who loves photographing people.

And then just looking straight up there.

In 2004, Matt and I got married

and were on our honeymoon backpacking through New Zealand.

I wanted to know more about the people here,

so I set about photographing

and interviewing teenagers that I met.

I've got a funding to a short documentary.

Catching up with the four people

I photographed in New Zealand 15 years ago.

Hello. Hello.

Hi, John. How are you?

Good, thank you. And yourself?

Good. Long time.

I know.

15 years later we now call New Zealand home,

and I'm on a mission to find these same people,

now in their 30s, and discover what life has thrown at them

and what has become of their dreams.

We've got all the answers to the questions

that we asked you in 2004.

Yeah.

And what we would like you to do

is for you to read through out loud.

Mhm.

If you were the leader, what changes would you make?

I would legalise marijuana.

What is your biggest regret in life?

My biggest regret in life is never

telling my grandad that I loved him.

I remember that.

I was so young there.

Such a beautiful picture.

18 was the age that things started

to really change for me, I think.

In what way?

I got hooked on hard drugs.

When I met you, I was actually trying to stay off.

I relapsed and was in the wrong scene again

until the age of 21.

Where do you picture yourself in 15 years?

No kids, but lots of animals to make up for the no kids.

Other than that, I'll be rich and famous in Hollywood.

I do have a son now.

I wasn't very good at looking after myself,

let alone a child.

But when I became pregnant,

that was the start of me changing my life.

So, I'm very glad that happened.

I've grown up being aware of every cent

and there were weeks where there's not enough,

and we have to go to Salvation Army or to the local church

and get a food parcel or something like that.

So yeah, I'm very aware of money.

You really need money to make money, often.

And when you don't have anything behind you,

trying to get ahead can be very difficult.

In 15 years I want to have a good partner,

a good job and a fast car.

Do you have any quotes that you try and live by?

Just that quote there's two types of people.

Some people that wish it would happen,

and some people that make it happen.

So I try to be the latter, one of those, yeah.

I've still got that hat, actually.

Have you? Do you still skateboard?

Oh, very, very rarely.

I still have a skateboard

but it just gets cobwebs on it, I think.

Why have you stopped doing that so much?

I've got to keep myself fit and able to go to work,

so, yeah, you can't show up with grazes all over my face.

It sounds like you had a good path.

Yeah, I've been really lucky.

In terms of major setbacks and things that

really, really challenge you,

I suppose I've been kind of lucky in that regard.

Probably as a result of hard work and keeping

to certain rules and ethics of life,

but also just a really good support around me as well.

If I could do anything with my life now,

financial independence would be

the biggest goal from now on.

Are you happy?

Yeah. Yup, I'm definitely happy, yeah.

I look troubled,

like I've got the weight of the world on my shoulders.

Did you have?

I've always had that kind of feeling.

Do you remember the shoot?

Vaguely.

15 years ago.

I was stoned, I think. I was stoned.

I am now as well, so nothing's changed.

I didn't catch anything.

That's all I remember.

And then just turn to face me a bit more.

Your whole body.

I liked being better than some people at things.

What did you excel at?

What were you good at?

Extracting the logs off the hill.

You wrap a chain around it or a strop.

It's really physically intense.

Why did you stop?

I failed a test for cannabis.

Who do you see there?

I see the first stage of what I am now.

If you could go back and talk to your 17-year-old self,

what would you say to him?

You're capable of much more than you think.

That guy there just has no idea what's about to hit him.

If you want to just have a look at the picture.

I would say he was more skinnier than I am.

The person I admire the most or look up to is Jesus.

He's the one that gives me all that I ask for.

Has that changed?

No. No, it hasn't.

Only thing that I really had

to rely on my faith was in 2015 when I had an accident.

I fell off the truck and I couldn't

remember anything else after that.

Was it a very, very serious accident?

50-50. I'm alive.

I'm still running around.

A lot of people have been asking me what time

and what year I'm looking of going

to school to become a church minister.

And I always say, ah, there'll be a time.

Not now, but the time will come.

The guy in the photo,

would he be impressed with you now?

Do you think he'd be happy?

I'm sure this guy should be.

I'm sure, because if he's not I'll knock him out myself.

If I was to ask you, are you happy?

It's funny.

I used to say I'd just like to be happy.

And then I realised a few years ago

it's not happiness that I want.

I just want to be able to say that I'm content.

And all things considered, maybe not content, but I'm okay.

BiP's Shushanna Mkrtychyan Accused of Witchcraft: 'Call Me a Bitch but Don't Call Me a Witch' - News - Duration: 9:24.

 What better way to test your compatibility than with babies … right?  Tuesday night's episode of Bachelor in Paradise saw the return of veteran couples Jade and Tanner Tolbert and Carly Waddell and Evan Bass to hand out a highly-coveted date card

 "They are people who actually made Paradise happen," says Kendall Long. "I think it's seeing couples like that that allows me to think no matter what kind of story you have here and how you get to that point, love can be found here

"  After interviewing each couple to determine who deserves the date, the group decides on Long and Joe Amabile

But this wasn't just any typical Paradise date.  "So we have prepared the most exciting, glorious, epic date in Bachelor in Paradise history," explains Bass

 "Unfortunately, you both will not be going on this date," adds Waddell. "We are going on this date because we need Mommy and Daddy breaks! So you both will be babysitting our babies

"  And while Jade and Tanner's daughter Emerson Avery took a while to warm up to Amabile (queue an hour of crying), the couple proved that they could handle a couple of toddlers together

The experience brought Amabile and Long closer together.  "This is a new side of Kendall I haven't seen before," says Amabile

"I can see Kendall being a good mother one day. It really makes you think a lot about the future and how serious this whole Paradise experience could turn out to be

"  "It was cute to see Joe with the kids," adds Long. "It could be a glimpse into our future

"  As an award for successfully taking care of the babies, Long and Amabile finally get their date

While sitting beachside and sipping cocktails, the two decided to be exclusive.  "You're the only person I want to date," says Amabile

"I really like you." A Sudden Goodbye  But while Long and Amabile are happier than ever, Eric Bigger begins to crumble

After sending Angela Amezcua on Monday following a date with Cassandra Ferguson, Bigger begins to question his place in Paradise

 Bigger tells Ferguson he just wants to be friends — which leaves her feeling pretty confused

 "Everyone is coupled up and it's kind of hard to see how happy they are," she says

"Eric and I have this really weird thing going on. I keep trying to show him signs that I'm interested on my end and I just feel like he's not reciprocating those feelings

"  And when Ferguson tells Bigger she doesn't think he's ready to fall in love, it sends him spiraling

 "This is the first time in my life that I really want a relationship but that doesn't mean I'm really ready," he says

"I've been looking for the answers and I don't know what to do."  Bigger confides in Kevin Wendt that he's feeling conflicted about his place in Paradise

 "I'm emotionally drained from the Angela situation. It isn't fair to Cassandra that she had to come into that

She got pulled into my mess," he says. "I don't want to give Cassandra half of me

"  Ultimately, Bigger decides to leave Paradise.  "I'm emotionally drained," he says as he begins to cry

"The best decision is just to leave Paradise and move on."  After breaking the news to Ferguson (who handles it extremely well), he says goodbye to the rest of the group — much to their protest

 "I'm emotionally just done," he says. "I can no longer be here if I'm not fully myself

" Lucky in Love  And with Bigger gone, the couples begin to evaluate where they are on their own relationships

After getting a surprise date card, Chris Randone decides its time to tell Krystal Nielson how he's really feeling

 "Seeing Eric leave really shed light on how I feel about Krystal," he says. "I can honestly say I feel lucky as hell right now

I feel like I hit the Bachelor in Paradise lottery."  The two set out for a romantic candle-lit dinner, where Randone tells Nielson those three special words

 "I know not too long ago I expressed to you that I was starting to fall in love with you," he says

"Since then there has been nothing but amazing memories, amazing conversations and being here right now, sitting across from you I can honestly say that … " But just as he's about to express his love, a huge raccoon runs by and ruins the moment

Luckily, Randone is able to recover.   "This whole experience so far has really changed me in a lot of ways," he says

"I'm not actually beginning to fall in love with you, I am in love with you."  "I'm in love with you, too," replies Nielson

A Russian Witch Hunt  Back at the house, things are getting heated between Shushanna Mkrtychyan and Annaliese Puccini

 Even after Kamil Nicalek decided to give his rose to Puccini in Monday night's episode, Mkrtychyan can't seem to let go of her feelings for Nicalek after their date

 "I always catch Shu staring at me," says Nicalek. "It's like an owl. I told Shu there's no connection there, I don't like her

I'm trying to be clear to her but she keeps staring at me with those piercing eyes, and it's creepy

"  It doesn't help when Mkrtychyan denies a date card from Jordan Mauger in order to try and get closer to Nicalek

But again, Nicalek makes his feelings clear.  "You're a great girl, I just don't feel there's a connection," he tells her

"It's not there between us. There is no spark. I can't see it work between us."  And when Nicalek jokes that Mkrtychyan is using her "Russian witchery" to break up him and Puccini, rumors about her potential spell-casting powers run wild on the island

Fed up with the whole situation, Puccini accuses Mkrtychyan of practicing dark magic during a heated discussion

 "You're doing like witchcraft and stuff trying to put spells on us to break us up," she says

 Naturally, this upsets Mkrtychyan.  "First I'm European trash and now I'm a witch," she says crying

"I'm so over it."  "Call me a bitch but don't call me a witch," she adds.  Later, she's seen throwing a photo of Nicalek into a bonfire she'd made for Mauger, who she suddenly decided she did have feelings for once he was on a date with another woman

And when he too rejects her, she flings herself on a bed and bursts into tears.  Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays on ABC at 8 p

m. ET.
